I mean, I guess the general answer is yes, now that I've put it like that. But hear me out. I absolutely hate it when my GF volunteers this kinda info. It's different if one of us asks the other one "have you done so and so before?" And then answer is yes. But I never go in detail and I avoid going on about how great it was (if it was) because I believe it hurts. Or rather, I know it hurts me if she went on about it. But to just volunteering the info makes me feel upset. And turns me off. I don't know if it's insecurities or if it's "normal" to feel this way? Should I be okay with her for example asking me while we're swimming in the ocean if I want an underwater bj, then immediately after to tell me "you know I've done it in [x country]". Now I know who her bf was in [x country] and I now he had a little boat so I was so turned off and upset. Like why the flex? Or is it? It happened few times, that she'd mention something like that and every time I just ask "why the hell would you tell me that?". And she'd apologize. But this recent one made me think, am I the one with the problem? Do you all feel ok about it? Again, unprovoked, without asking about it, to just be hit with "I did so and so". If it's me that is the problem, what is it? I know we all have insecurities, but I'm rather comfortable in my skin and a confident person over all. But this makes me question it.

I’m trying to remember a movie I saw on YouTube after searching something like “full movie SciFi”. It was definitely an indie low-budget movie.
It took place in Scotland or maybe Ireland during an alien invasion. We never see the aliens, and follow a couple’s journey as they try and find safety. I believe the woman was pregnant?
There’s one scene where they’re walking near a coastline and see a large spacecraft in the distance. Or maybe that was something they watched on TV. I can say a lot of the movie was the couple alone in the wilderness - I believe with their dog.
In one scene they meet a man living alone in a cabin in the woods. He’s a conspiracy theorist. I think he tries to kill the couple.
The end takes place in a hospital and I believe it all ended up being a coma dream after the main man was shot in the stomach at the hospital car park on his way to see his partner give birth to their child.

My wife and I adopted Peter (2 yo, male, 14 lbs, tuxedo) in December of last year. We adopted because he's generally a huge sweetheart, greeted us when we came to visit him at the humane society, and because we wanted a playmate for our other cat, Pixie (2 yo, female 12 lbs, cream and light orange).
Pixie is very playful, and this started to become an issue with Ella (11yo, female 7 lbs, white and brown/black tabby). Ella did not want to play, and Pixie did, putting extra stress on Ella. We thought it would be good to give Pixie a playmate who is more similar in age to her, and Peter had gone a long time without being adopted, so we decided to bring him home.
Peter lived in the bathroom for a week or so, while we slowly let him interact with the other cats under the door. He got comfortable after a few days, so we brought him to the other side of the house (the house is a circle with four rooms, you can cut it in half by closing two doors), where he got used to the rest of the house.
For another week, we kept Peter on the kitchen/living room side of the house, an Pixie and Ella on the bedroom/bathroom side of the house. They both had their own litter boxes, food bowls, and water fountains. This was coming up on Christmas, and those of you in the Midwest of the US know that it got extremely cold here that time of the year. The heating in our house is crap, and while it was -20 outside, it was around 50 degrees inside the living room.. It's warmer on the bedroom/bathroom side of the house, and it was too cold to keep Peter in the living room, so we were forced to integrate them after only a couple of weeks. I know, I know this was way too fast. But it was freezing, and we didn't have a choice.
They actually seemed okay for a week or so together, but as Peter got more comfortable with the other cats, he got more aggressive. He would chase them and swat, and it became a problem when Pixie had a scratch on her face after a fight. Ella and Pixie only felt safe on the bed, and they didn't feel comfortable leaving to use the litter box, so one of them peed on the bed.
At this point, it wasn't so frigid in the living room, so we moved Peter back over there. We opened the double doors between the living room and bedroom two feet and closed off the gap with chicken wire. This way, the cats can interact, smell each other, and eat without being able to fight. After a month of this, Pixie and Peter would start to play with each other through the chicken wire. They don't act aggressively with each other at all, but only through the chicken wire. As soon as we put Peter and Pixie in the same room, Peter will start to attack Pixie. She will go hide, and Peter will corner her, and we have to intervene. I've tried distracting him with treats and toys, and recently I've started spraying him with water if he attacks her.
I'm open to any and all ideas about how to get them to play nicely with each other. It's been six months, and he wont stop attacking the other cats as soon as he sees them. We can't keep the cats separated forever, and we will do anything to not have to surrender Peter. We love all of our cats, but we can't get them to get along. Again, I know we integrated them way too early at first, but that was months ago now. What can we do to integrate them safely?
For reference, all three are strictly indoor. All three cats see the vet once a year, and are all up to date on vaccinations. All three were adopted from the humane society, and are fixed.

As of Bedlam, who knows about Skulduggery being Vile? I noticed it in Resurrection too, Abyssinia alludes to this when she’s discussing Caisson’s father and Temper is there (if I remember rightly) but no one says anything.
Equally, on p491 of Bedlam Abyssinia says ‘I wanted you to be his father - in whatever form you took’ to Skulduggery and Razzia, Nero, and Destrier are there??
There’s constant discussion about Skulduggery as Caisson’s father, even though it’s Vile who Abyssinia claimed the father was until the big reveal, but anyone around would then put two and two together abous Skulduggery being Vile??? Hello fellow Bonnaroovians. I am currently asking for anyone's help if they care to give it. My girlfriend was on her way home to get ready for Roo last Wednesday, when she was hit head on by a sleeping or distracted driver. She suffered a small cut to her spleen which has been fixed, a major break to her ankle, and tons of bruises and cuts on her body. She has succesfully had one surgery on her ankle, we are waiting for the swelling to go down before they can do the next one. She may be able to go home on Monday to wait and rest at home for a week or so. Shes in alot of pain still but shes staying positive, Radiating the poitivity if you will. She had 80% of our festival gear in her car, as we just went to Rockville a few weeks ago. Thankfully most of our gear made it but she lost some very sentimental items, which we know will be hard to replace. I read through this post from yesterday, and was grateful to read through the responses about the experiences of former Christians that led them to leave the faith. At the risk of over-simplifying things, it seemed like the bulk of responses fell into a few categories, or a combination. Thanks to u/SeaSaltCaramelWater.

1. Just never felt anything, supernatural or otherwise. a) the practice of Christianity was painful
   
2. Problems in their church or in Christian culture that made them conclude Christianity was fake.
   
3. Intensive theological study and work that led to disbelief. a) because it wasn't plausible b) because God was awful
   

I just want to point out that while a lot of Christians will accuse these of never being true Christians, leading to accusations of the No True Scotsman fallacy, I feel compelled to point this out:
I can't speak for everyone, but to me the love of God has shown itself to me in palpable ways. Just like OP in the other post I linked, I would have difficulty clinging to the Lord as I do without God showing His hand in my life sometimes. I still sin, I still have a filthy mouth in traffic, I still feel guilt, but even more than this, I have an over flowing cup of satisfaction in the Lord that is difficult to describe. It just never goes away. It roars like fire when I praise God, or pray, or read scripture. It just never, ever leaves.
Why, why in the world would I discard this mere taste of what heaven is like, with the promise I get to live with God like this and enjoy Him forever? it doesn't make any sense.
So when we say you couldn't have been saved, what it means is there's no way you could know the Lord in this way and then just cast it away like it was garbage. It would be like being married to the hottest, richest celebrity on the planet, a person who fills you up from the inside out with satisfaction and love, and then one day you just wake up and you're like, "nah, screw this. I'm out". HOW. Just how, even. It doesn't math.
And as Christians, I think we need to be more sensitive to their experiences. Honestly, some of y'all former Christians tried way harder than I ever did. It's not that I haven't invested pretty heavily, but it was always because I wanted to, not because I thought I should. Reading this post gave me a lot of sympathy for your experiences. It's just leading me to wonder how things got this way for you and for me, and what is it that makes the difference?

This is a little theory about Imu after what happened in chapter 1085 - waited a little to avoid spoiling who reads the weekly chapters only on Manga Plus. I didn't see the same theory around so I hope nobody else wrote a similar post that simply went unread.
When reading chapter 1085, you would probably think about Zoans, especially Mythical or awakened since they are quite popular lately. That outcome would be a bit too obvious and disappointing, so let's not take anything for granted (even if we know that Oda-sensei would definitely still be able to masterfully pull it off).
We saw some old dudes seemingly transforming into powerful beasts. But what if they didn't transform themselves? What if somebody else triggered that transformation? We were led to believe that Imu is immortal thanks to a certain procedure, so it would be anticlimactic if the other five did the same, right? Therefore we can suppose only Imu is immortal: the Five Elders are simply the current ones in that position, maybe even with a boost that grants them to have prolonged lifespans. And they could have these oh-so-powerful Devil Fruits like Mythical Zoans, maybe preserved just for the Five Elders like Big Mom probably preserved all those food-related Devil Fruits for her children. But, again, this would anticlimactic, especially when we just had a full arc with Zoan-only enemies: so let's suppose the Five Elders don't have Devil Fruits powers (or at least not the ones we could think reading chapter 1085).

So how could this be? What could bring to a transformation triggered by external factors and maybe a prolonged lifespan in the One Piece world, particularly in the panels the theory started from? Exactly: a Devil Fruit manipulating genes. Tentative name: Jin Jin no Mi / Gene Gene. If Imu had this kind of fruit, they could manipulate their own genes and others' genes (maybe thanks to the awakening they had 800 years to develop and refine), therefore triggering their Lineage Factors (OP version of DNA) to recombine and makeing their bodies transform in other creatures. Rings a bell? This is how Garfield Logan / Beast Boy / Changeling work! He can just shapeshift in whatever animal he wants (even demon-like beasts) so it is indeed a prototype for this hypothetical Devil Fruit.

We already saw "advanced versions" of other Devil Fruits (like Ton Ton > Kilo Kilo , Buki Buki > Supa Supa , Magu Magu > Mera Mera , Hie Hie > Yuki Yuki), so this Gene Gene could be a sort of advanced version of both Nomi Nomi and Mane Mane: it lets Imu store information about every kind of genes in your own genes (Lineage Factor) and manipulate them accordingly to gain physical boosts or shapeshift.

This could be long, but I'm currently the subject of a local Facebook group, as two days after I was threatened and intimidated by the local ice cream man for saying something he didn't like about his conduct, he posted a long take of woe on the estate only group about the abuse he'd suffered from 'a Karen' on the estate.
I'm furious because he'd already upset me, but was so arrogant as if he was god's gift to the estate - 'all children love me for serving ice-cream, I'm here to make my customers happy, not you', but his parking nearly contributed to an accident.
His post has been unanimously supported with about 50 neighbours fawning over him and his ice cream, saying he's so friendly, cares about the kids, they get so excited, please don't let this vile cretin stop you coming.... But I wasn't at all threatening or abusive to him. It was the other way around.
I pulled up well behind him because he was blocking my drive, stopped right over the dropped kerb, opposite a junction. There were two cars parked further up ahead of him, where it was straight and to be fair, be does stop if he can. I waited and indicated (couldn't see me as he was serving through the side hatch) and a customer seemed to tell him he should move up. Before he did, a car approached me at speed, veered quickly around us all and then had to brake hard as there were kids crossing. They didn't know there were other cars in front, due to the height of the van.
After he moved and I parked, I went to get my bin and as I walked up he asked what he could get me, oblivious. Since he was the 'friendly local ice cream man' I asked if he could help out with the congestion by not blocking access, and tried to say what happened.
He said he'd moved and to get over it. I said yeah, thanks for moving, but still don't stop there again.
I got a mouthful of abuse - who do you think you are, why should I listen to a woman, ive been driving longer than you, ive done the job a long time, you're not my boss, noone else has a problem, how long have you even lived here, you didn't have to wait long, I'll park where I like, report me if you're not happy.
I stupidly went out when he pulled up the next day, this time partially blocking me in. He asked some nearby kids, who hadn't left as they sensed some drama from his tone, if they thought he was parked safely, as if this vindicated him. He encouraged them to film me and my 'aggression' towards him, still pointing and shouting at me. They were cheeky too, butting in to say my drive wasn't mine (?), Loads of cars were parked on the road, shut up moaning etc. He then asserted that these kids had come up to him to report how I always told them off. They denied this, 'nah it wasn't her, we just live on a street full of Karens'. I pointed out that other neighbours had said the drive blocking was becoming a problem, but he didn't seem to lose his temper with men. Ironically one of the kids piped up to say that what I said made me sexist... They got free ice cream and told to get their parents to send him the footage. Huge waste of time and energy.
He tells it that those kids had to tell me to leave him alone because I was so awful. Now there are people asserting that it was their kids and they came home upset about the aggressive lady.
It's not the whole neighbourhood, but if I'm somehow identified to one of these 50 who've lapped if all up (as nobody will say otherwise, it's just an echo chamber) I don't know what will happen.
I did speak to him. He was in the wrong. He went further. I didn't broadcast it and now I'm hated, and this man will still be right outside my house once a day when he chooses.
AIBU to report him to someone? Who? Should I try to set the story straight or stay out of it? Feel like I need to move, all because he's loved by kids for giving them sugar and it's unthinkable that he just didn't like his behaviour being called out.

I have a 3 and a half old with bedtime problems. He sleeps in his room no problem but it takes FOREVER for him to go to sleep. Like some nights can take 2 hours and he's usually constantly getting out of his bed to walk to our room (me and my husband's) just to say "I'm thirsty", "this or that hurts", "I love you and miss you" (even though he said it 10 times before I left the room).
After I do or give him what he wants, he will never go back to his room without one of us tucking him back in so I'm having to get up and walk to the other end of the house to put his blanket back on him. Like I said, he will do this a million times! I get to the point where I'm just wanting to put his mattress next to our bed so I don't have to get up anymore but my husband is afraid it'll open a can of worms and he'll never wanna sleep in his room again. And then sometimes we watch TV till late and I wouldn't want that keeping him up later than it already is.

So I’ll be going out for a stag in kilkenny in august. About 7 or 8 of us want to stay the night and are looking for some set of accommodation for the night. Said I’d ask here if there’s any sort of place that could sleep 8 people. Rather not book separate hotel rooms. Amazon has designed this whole system to burn through people BEFORE changing anything for their drivers because they just can. That is not okay, and it leads to a mediocre workforce. Amazon knows this, so refrain from acting like people with legitimate concerns are in the wrong here. This job sucks most days!

We should be asking for better because it is POSSIBLE. Just recently, the poor air conditions in the Northeast Amazon sent a message to RTS after plenty of packages were delivered. Was it possible to hold off deliveries that day? (yes)
I get that some people find complaining annoying, but it minimizes the many legitimate concerns.
And yes, there are pros to this job. Nobody is saying there aren’t. But with how many people quit this job I’d say those pros are extremely subjective rather than beneficial.

This thought crossed my mind & that if we do in fact find out there has been government agencies that their sole purpose was to lie to the American people through disinformation etc. which would be highly illegal. As many of you are already aware, reddit has announced significant upcoming changes to their API that will have a serious impact to many users. There is currently a planned protest across hundreds of subreddits to black out on June 12th. There has been some recent discussion about participating in the blackout and the comments in there overwhelmingly support the blackout. We mods also agreed and as such, /Pathfinder_Kingmake will participate in the blackout.
More Information:

• Third Party reddit apps (such as Apollo, Reddit is Fun and others) are going to become ludicrously more expensive for it’s developers to run, which will in turn either kill the apps, or result in a monthly fee to the users if they choose to use one of those apps to browse. Put simply, each request to reddit within these mobile apps will cost the developer money. The developers of Apollo were quoted around $2 million per month for the current rate of usage. The only way for these apps to continue to be viable for the developer is if you (the user) pay a monthly fee, and realistically, this is most likely going to just outright kill them. Put simply: If you use a third party app to browse reddit, you will most likely no longer be able to do so, or be charged a monthly fee to keep it viable.
  
• NSFW Content is no longer going to be available in the API. This means that, even if 3rd party apps continue to survive, or even if you pay a fee to use a 3rd party app, you will not be able to access NSFW content on it. You will only be able to access it on the official reddit app. Additionally, some service bots (such as video downloaders or maybe remindme bots) will not be able to access anything NSFW. In more major cases, it may become harder for moderators of NSFW subreddits to combat serious violations such as CSAM due to certain mod tools being restricted from accessing NSFW content.
  
• Many users with visual impairments rely on 3rd-party applications in order to more easily interface with reddit, as the official reddit mobile app does not have robust support for visually-impaired users. This means that a great deal of visually-impaired redditors will no longer be able to access the site in the assisted fashion they’re used to.

My aunt got diagnosed with I can't remember the name but I know it's a hormonal cancer that's been growing since her 20's and she's now in her 40's. It's spread all throughout her abdominal area.She has been through a roougghh time. I think she's almost died 4 times in the past year and a half. Lots of hospital visits, always on oxy for pain, barely able to eat, lost a ton of weight, can't get out anymore and live. It's horrible. Luckily her treatments are working and it's stopping her cancer from growing.
My relationship with her has basically been non existent because when I was 3 years old family drama went down she tried to adopt a baby because she couldn't have kids (probably from the cancer growing) and someone in my family said she wasn't a good fit to be a mother to the adoption agency honestly I don't see why she's an amazing person. But nobody would confess and she and my uncle moved away. I think I got to see my uncle maybe every 1-2 years, she wouldn't visit though. But sometime in 2018 both of them came up and I got to visit with them. I hadn't seen her since I was 3 then I was 20 and I knew she was my aunt but I had a hard time connecting because I'm terrible at social interaction lol. Then the next time I see her I'm 23 when I go to visit her and my uncle with my grandma to visit and help her out with the cancer.
Things didn't really go as planned like my grandma had wanted, we were basically just in their way. We thought we'd go and help out while my uncle was working but his job didn't have any work for him when he decided to go back. It had been a whole month that he'd gotten anything and they were worried they'd have to move and he'd have to get a new job. I didn't have a great time when I was there either, I deal with a long list of health issues myself and they were in full swing during the visit. One of those was the worst period of my life, I think being at higher elevation was making it bad. I was extremely tired, lost alot of blood, horrible cramps that made me almost pass out, muscle soreness, brain fog, depression, etc. It wasn't fun. Not only was that going on but my grandma was being horrible to me. As much as I appreciated her bringing me with her and paying for everything and obviously unconditionally love her, she's a narcissist. The whole trip as soon as a showed an inch of joy she got mad that I was having a good time and started bullying me, controlling everything I did like wouldn't let me eat in the car when I had a migraine and needed food, not letting me go the places I wanted to, telling me I couldn't watch shows with cuss words in it (as a 23yr old lmao), constantly telling me I was like my mom who she hates and telling me I was being dramatic and lazy like her. Telling me my aunt and uncle didn't want to see the things I was interested in showing them which was a lie, lied to me multiple times about her conversations with my aunt and uncle to try to guilt trip me into feeling bad about any movement I made. I wasn't in the best mood when I was visiting them. But here's the thing, I enjoyed the fuck out of my time with my aunt and uncle.
They are great people, and really made me feel welcomed. I got some one on one time with my uncle the most instead of my aunt. Him and I got to bond a few times when going to run errands, he got emotional and said I was his daughter, had a few deep talks about rough times they've gone through and he expressed how much he loves my aunt, got to hang out while he was working on his car. I didn't get much of that with my aunt and it makes me sad. I wanted to connect with her but my grandma was around her all the time and wasn't letting me be myself or else she'd use it as ammo against me. We watched tv together, had a few talks (with my grandma there), and my uncle, aunt, grandma, and I went to a national monument together. We didn't get to bond or have a connecting moment and it's eating me up inside. I want to send them a note each separately telling them one I appreciated them having me over, how much I enjoyed my time with them, how nice it was seeing their love for one another, and how much I felt welcomed and loved by them. I just don't know how to make the note personal to my aunt since we didn't get those connecting moments.
I also want to talk with them over the phone more I just don't know how to. One reason being I feel like my grandma talked bad about me to them and how I was acting and I'm afraid they see me different for who I am, and from what was said about me because this was really a first true impression. And second is I don't know how to talk to them especially around the cancer. Usually when you talk to people you ask how's life been, what've you been doing, etc. I know what they've been doing going through a rough freaking time. And I don't know if they want to talk about that. I also haven't been having much eventful things happening in my life with my health issues and living in a bad situation, I don't want to dump bad stuff going on with me to them.
What should I write to my aunt in my note since I didn't get the connection with her like I did with my uncle? And how should I go about talking with them over the phone? Do I not bring up the cancer at all or do I? And how should I let them know I enjoyed my time with them without bringing up my grandma. Thanks for reading <3.
