Jacob is awoken to the sound of gun fire and the smell of smoke. As he looks around he notices that the three woman who were with him sre gone, but these observations are cut short as another bomb detonates about 35 feet from him, sending its shrapnel through whatever remained of the way, thankfully keeping him safe.
As jacob stumbled towards the hole in wall, he could see the early morning sky lit up from the light of AA fire and the forms of both kansen and siren planes fighting up in the air. As he takes stock of the battle raging across the harbor, he notices that the three woman who were with him were outside - using their riggings to shoot down enemy air craft. After that he began hearing rapid footsteps approach him. As he turns around he is greeted by the sight of tall, tanned woman, with long silver hair wearing black swim wear and wearing an open black jacket.
As she continues her approach, one of the automated siren planes begins to fire into the opening in the wall. As this happens the woman quickly picks up jacob and begins running away from the exposed area, while firing her AA. After a few seconds of AA fire, the plane is shot down and crashes into a surrounding building, setting it on fire.
After walking for about a minute, the woman finds a safer area for them and proceeds to place jacob back down. As jacob trys to say something, he is cut off as the woman starts speaking. "Are you alright?" She says, jacob trys to nod, but is stopped by a pain on his side. As he looks down he finally realizes that he had been hit by a piece of shrapnel. The woman notices this and speaks again "I'll take you to vestal. Keep preasure on the wound and try to stay awake", jacobs nods as the woman begins to pick him up again, and proceeds to start running out of the building towards the base hospital.
As they are running, jacob looks around and finds that the battle is nearly over. Only a few siren ships and planes remained, but from what he could tell it wasnt as clear a victory as he would've hoped. As he looked at the dock he could see several hulls burning and sinking into the water, and many other hulls on the dock that were set alight - he could also see that many buildings on the base were either damaged or destroyed just like the building that housed his office.
While looking around, jacob doesnt even notice the fact that they reached the clinic or the fact that he was starting to feel light headed, until finally he couldnt keep his eyes open anymore, and drifted off.
Jacob jolted out of the hospital bed with a start, as the memorys of what happend before he passed out start replaying inside of his head. As jacob looks around he notices 5 people around him - Z23, kuybyshev, theseus, the woman who brought him here, and what jacob could best describe as a nun with light lilac hair and blue eyes.
After jolting up, jacob winced in pain as both his abdomen hurt on hid right side, and a pain he didnt notice before on his cheek. After seeing that jacob was awake, the nun looking person started speaking up. "You're a lucky one commander chasler. if masacheussets didnt rush you in here you probaly would have bled out", this statement causes jacob to pale, but without taking notice vestal continues speaking, "thankfully we we're able to stabilise you and were able to remove any pieces of shrapnel that were imbedded in you", after vestal finishes speaking, jacob asks them all a question, "How much damage did the port sustain, and are there any casualties?", after this question the room falls silent for a few moments, during which everyone in the room shifts uncomfortably before vestal begins to speak up "we lost two battleships - arizona and oklahoma, and around 72% of the port has either been damaged or destroyed". After saying that the room reverts back to its silent state for a few minutes before Z23 speaks up, "Commander Chasler, i know this may be a bit much to ask since you've been here for less than 3 hours and have already been through a siren air raid - but the fact of the matter is that base repairs will require extensive amounts of paper work. So it is my belief that once you are able to leave, that you immediately come to conference building which contains an extra office, so we can begin the process of going through the paperwork" after what Z23 said, jacob nods solemenly as he looks out of the window in the room they were in and gazes upon the port - Where many fires were still being put out.
After walking for about 10 minutes, jacob finally arrived at the - shockingly - almost fully intact conference building, and walks in. Inside of it, he finds Z23, kuybyshev, and theseus, reading and signing papers at break neck speeds. Jacob doesnt say anything, as he enters, and takes a seat at the desk that was left for him. he proceeds to start going over the paper work - reading, signing, asking for assistance from one of the three woman at times - until finally he realizes that its already night time and more than 3/4 of the papers still need to be reviewed, signed, and sent. So even after everyone else left to turn in for the night - jacob remained in the office, doing as much as he could, until eventually at 2 in the morning, he decided to head back to his room since it was still largely intact.
As he passes by the eagle unions dorm, he spots a kansen sitting down on a bench right outside of its entrance - a woman with long blonde hair, yellow eyes, and old-western styled clothing. as jacob takes a closer look, he see's that the woman has a dark expression on her face, only adding to the fact that her eyes looked as if they had been crying for a while before he got there. So jacob approaches the woman on the bench.
"Is this seat taken?" Jacob asked, the woman looked up at him and replied, "theirs place enough for ya here youngin" she says in what jacob believes was supposed to be a happy tone but was brutally squashed by her other apparent feelings. After that, jacob sits down on the bench with the woman, both of them not saying a word, until finally the silence is broken by the woman, "y'know ma' sis oklahoma, wouldnt hav' wanted me to be mopin about port, but yet here i am, sittin on a bench, cursin' out the world for takin' her" she says - jacob slightly winces as he realizes that this is sister of one of the deceased battleships - nevada.
After she finished speaking, and jacobs apparent realization, they both return to silence. After a few minutes of contemplating, jacob finally figures out what he will say, "Nevada," he says as she turns to face him, "I swear to you, on my name as the new commander of this port, that we will avenge oklahoma, and we will make the sirens pay for what they have done to both all of you and to humanity" jacobs says with a confident finality, that he didnt even know he could accomplish. After a few seconds of nevada looking at jacob with a stunned expression, she slowly begins to chuckle, then that chuckle turned into a full laugh - jacob paled at this, thinking that he made a fool of himself until nevada spoke again, "Well arent ya' the smoothest talka here, pledging revenge for a' womans behalf," she says with a light smile, causing jacob to lightly blush at her comment. Nevada just chuckles again, before speaking up again, "thank ya commander, but dont worry," she says somewhat happily but with flint in her voice, "i'll make sure those siren bastards pay well enough", at this jacob only nods. after about 10 minutes after about 10 minutes after that, nevada gets up and heads back into the eagle unions dorm.
After a few minutes of sitting still, Jacob finally gets up, and makes the journey back to his room, still avoiding any stray debris, until eventually - he makes it back to his partially destroyed building - making his way through the hall and into his bedroom, where he finally lays downs, and falls asleep.

I’m mostly gonna use this as an opportunity to talk about how great the 2018 Black Panther soundtrack was -
In order for Black Panther to have authenticity exciting rap music made for the film, they’d have to hand it off to a label or conglomerate who could actually use their connections to create something impressive; picture like Jay-Z or even fucking Chance getting ahold of this, would’ve been very different but the links the artists have and their ability to pull in the actual stars of the moment instead of whatever Disney was willing to put into contracts. Instead, a certain Kendrick Lamar was fresh off his biggest album (still) and Marvel chose TDE to go global.
All the Stars was nominated for an Oscar & Grammy for Best Song, Kings Dead was a bonafide radio hit and when the album DID drop, it turned out it was less of a straightforward soundtrack (unconnected songs dragged along by the film’s plot) and more of Kendrick concept album. Each song had outstanding features that with rap names that were ripped from the charts and lesser known or the African artists themselves were aided by Kendrick’s constant presence throughout the album. By the time the two clicked upon release, and each ”needle drop” was already seeped in popular culture, the film’s presence picks up an almost legendary or prescient status - like Prince at the Super Bowl.
Beyond that, these were just seriously great songs. SOB x RXE got their 15 minutes with Paramedic, but being the hardest rap song on such an album is a helluva moment. Pray For Me had The Weeknd’s signature driving drums post-Starboy that still permeate his more commercially successful style, and R&B artists like Jorja Smith, Zacari, Khalid overall give credence to the more sing song-y hooks, carving a vast sonic landscape that still felt modern and exciting to contemporary music.
Now enter Wakanda Forever -
A film marred by difficulty, even before the passing of an icon and a global pandemic, there was no way making a sequel to this billion dollar film (which is to this day the only Marvel movie to be nominated for Best Picture) was going to be a slam dunk. Expectations tend to run high with superhero films but a more recent trend is in the form of the studios. Almost as if they’re wishing for each film to build off each consecutive one in the cinematic universe, as a sequel to Black Panther alone it is simply not. Themes are discarded, and unfortunately that’s done for the soundtrack as well. I love me some Ludwig, but in the opening minutes of this documentary he spoke about how he felt he had to start from scratch after Chadwick’s death and the music he won an Oscar for is largely absent here replaced by an even further weaving tapestry. Mayan mixes with Xhosa and afrobeats and reggaetron share a marquee, because hey, if it works for the characters why wouldn’t it with the music? The problem with the Inspired By soundtrack for Wakanda Forever is similar to the problem with the film in general, these “technically inevitable” chronological beats don’t play nearly as well when all jammed together. I didn’t need the character of Ironheart stuffed into Namor’s introduction to the world, and something that convenient for the studio’s grand plans for global character domination had better have a slam bang finish. However just like the movie’s lack of payoff, there’s not a single crossover hit to be found here. The closest is of course Rihanna’s Lift Me Up (which is not featured within the documentary oddly) but even that is an admittedly forgettable ballad that holds more water as a tribute to the man of Chadwick and not the character of T’Challa.
Idk overall the doc was fine, but the fact that the soundtrack didn’t touch the ground floor of Kendrick’s behemothlly successful project is just lame

contrary to what would seem like a public consensus, i am actually very intrigued about the patience stalker storyline bc it's one of the few storylines that is not embroiled in football, spencer and billy's death (love those, but aa writers have shown that they'll drag a storyline and beat it to death with a baseball bat before walking away). the theories for how far miko can go have been wild, but entertaining, to say the least. i think theorizing is one of the most exciting parts of watching a show live.

Wondering if anyone has gone through OMVIC for a truly appalling situation and whether or not they got results. Without delving to far into it, went to dealership (thought it was financing dept) for pre-approval. Was clearly scammed into signing a BoS and Finance contract unknowingly - please do not beat me up anymore than I have done to myself... Anyway, no deposit left, did not take a vehicle home with me. Upon realizing the fraud I immediately contacted dealer to cancel and am now being blackmailed via video with audio clips (completely out of context). So, report filed with OMVIC - still no response other than file has been passed along. OPP say it's OMVIC's issue to deal with as there is a "signed contract" and to lawyer up. Finance company has been contacted by myself and I have asked for fraud investigation to be opened and have a verbal response after many calls that it has been forwarded to another department and will not provide any type of confirmation. I have filed with BBB, CACF, equifax and am working on Transunion. I have also sent a letter to dealer via registered letter outlining the blatant fraud. Incident occurred March 18. I am trying to be patient, but I am out of my mind with stress and anxiety. I do not want to retain a lawyer yet if this is something OMVIC will resolve. I am not out money and I am not in possession of said vehicle and have no desire to go anywhere near that place. Considering reaching out to media, but how long do I wait? I blasted my headlight recently and cracked the bumper to go with it - was very sad about it to start off but now that a few days have gone by, I’m seeing it as an opportunity to put in a body kit and mod it since repairing the bumper myself is near impossible, and getting it patched up (fiberglass repair + buffing + priming + colour matching) will be at least €200 anyway, if not more.
Problem is I can’t find anywhere that is supplying any aero or widebody kits for the car here - is anyone aware of where I can get one? Happy to put it in myself given I’m fairly hands on with the car stuff, but just can’t seem to identify a reliable supplier that will source quality kits. AliExpress is one option but the delivery timelines are maddening and I can’t afford to have the car out of action for months.

Since the computer market has changed a lot and lots of new parts have come out since I was last looking for parts, what do you recommend I get? If I could stay under $200, that would be ideal. I've been looking at parts like either another 1070, a 1660ti, and maybe a 2060. I know nothing about AMD, and frankly find their naming scheme pretty confusing, so maybe theres a good deal somewhere there.

There are some people who's pineal gland has been removed due to illness but they manage to function fine and seem like normal people. The only problem they have is issues with sleep, which is easily medicated with prescribed melatonin - science explains is one of the main purposes of the pineal gland is for sleep cycles so there's no surprise there regarding a humans dysfunctinal sleep patterns once the gland is removed. But once these people are medicated with melatonin, they do seem fine and are able to function normally.
Now, I would be very interested if these people were surveyed properly with certain sets of questions and tests to see what their responses are to spiritual work etc, what the results would be. But as of yet this study has not been conducted. These people are very hard to find, but they do exist as I have read accounts of some. So this is definitely something that needs to be investigated further.
And finally: DMT (the most powerful psychedelic compound in the world)
One theory regarding the pineal gland is that DMT is released from it during sleep and death. This is something that I understood as truth for a long time but apparently it has never been proven by academic studies. The body does apparently produce small amounts of DMT, but nothing on the scale required to induce any type of psychedelic experience. So the DMT theory related to the pineal gland is at the moment an unproven one which needs to be explained as such.
In contrast to this, there are stories of NDE's (near death experiences) which could prove such theories. For example, my own father, an atheist, died along with some of his friends in a car crash and experienced what he explains as 'an overwhelming sense of Nirvana and a bright light' (paraphrasing) - but then woke up in hospital a week later. Now, this could be explained as 3 things - 1. a brief experience of the afterlife, 2. a heavy release of DMT from the pineal gland, or 3. both. It's impossible to know but things like this need to be considered when discussing the pineal gland and DMT because they are extremely relevant.
My story with decalcification:
This is my own personal experience which cannot be refuted:
I have at times in my life followed the directions that should be taken when trying to decalcify the pineal gland. I have followed each and every step militantly: drinking good water, eating a vegan diet, getting exercise, lots of water, all appropriate vitamins, cold showers, no drugs, no alcohol, no toxins etc. And how did I feel? Amazing.
But regardless of the function of the pineal gland, these things would enable me to feel amazing anyway, regardless of whether there is a special gland inside my brain connecting me to the spiritual realm. Consider the pineal gland not existing, but still following the necessary directions - and you will find that you will feel incredible as a result regardless.
So what I'm trying to say is that there is no solid proof that the pineal gland is a poweful device that can connect you to God and spirituality. But there is definitely solid proof that looking after yourself and healing yourself in every possible way will make you feel great. So my advice to you is to follow the decalfication directions, and regardless of the powers of the pineal gland, you will connect to something higher, you will find peace, calm and contentment, and you will be able to find God once again.

Amazing.
But regardless of the function of the pineal gland, these things would enable me to feel amazing anyway, regardless of whether there is a special gland inside my brain connecting me to the spiritual realm. Consider the pineal gland not existing, but still following the necessary directions - and you will find that you will feel incredible as a result regardless.
So what I'm trying to say is that there is no solid proof that the pineal gland is a poweful device that can connect you to God and spirituality. But there is definitely solid proof that looking after yourself and healing yourself in every possible way will make you feel great. So my advice to you is to follow the decalfication directions, and regardless of the powers of the pineal gland, you will connect to something higher, you will find peace, calm and contentment, and you will be able to find God once again.

My ID HPR won’t hold pressure. When connected to a pressure gauge and ASA turned on, the pressure gauge spikes to 300psi and subsequently drops to near 100. With ASA on OR off, turning the pressure up via the hexnut on the HPR has no effect on reg pressure output. The reg was doing this prior and post rebuild. I don’t see or hear any signs of leaking.
To rule out my pressure tester and ASA, I used two different dye hyper2 regs and both maintained 220psi for over 30 minutes.

The only fleshed out being of pure darkness, by contrast, is a murderous psychopath who nearly burned the universe to the ground just to see the pretty shapes the smoke would make. Even Eraqus, vaunted as an example of light gone bad, was influenced by the darkness in his heart. And Riku, held up as a paragon of balance, explicitly favors light over darkness. And considering that the 13 Darknesses have explicitly stated that they have no goal and did all that they did for no reason at all, the Master of Masters certainly comes off as the lesser evil in comparison. I have a 2005 wrx wagon Usdm, it says online that it is a 60L/15.9 gallon gas tank but I have been near empty (between the two bottom lines)and when I fill it up I can only put 40L/10 gallons in it. Is the internet wrong or is my gauge cluster weird.
