Greetings.
I'm a veteran player who has been maintaining a subscription since vanilla and only let it lapse halfway through Shadowlands because I was firmly convinced the current game direction is inexcusable and unfixable.
After hearing a lot of positive feedback on Dragonflight, I decided to resubscribe around two months ago, and so far it did not disappoint. The chores are all but eliminated (an important factor for someone whose life certainly got busier since 15 years ago), most classes have been significantly improved upon, and the community is vibrant at least where I'm playing (Horde, Argent Dawn-EU).
As such, this request can be also considered a personal endorsement.
While I am currently not swimming in gold due to having basically given it away before unsubscribing, I'm offering a gift from Blizzard store - a standard mount, or two pets, or whatever else worth 20£ for me. I suppose gold via tokens is also possible, assuming there's a way for me to get it to you.
What I am asking is subscribing up-front for 6 months and showing me you have the mount you would get for free with that subscription, so that I am guaranteed to get the goblin shredder. (I am a fan of ramshackle steampunk goblin aesthetic in particular. Mechs and rockets trump dragons anytime!)
Finally, my friend list has been somewhat vacant since resubscription and my former guild didn't survive, so I am more than willing to provide assistance in the game free of charge. Planet Challenges: - Rework of the "time dungeons" into “Planet challenges”! Every dungeon has their own set of bosses. Minimum of 3 custom dungeons per planet challenge. Starting with Gaia. - Player has to complete the current challenge 3 times to unlock the next challenge. Challenges can be completed an unlimited amount of times and once open they stay open. Players who have completed the whole planet can play all of the challenges several times a day. - Each dungeon has set of rewards that can be boosted - Free to play rewards - Boosted rewards (multiplier is applied after paying universe bucks or watching an ad) - Level progression is tracked by a percentage. Percentage of progression is updated by killing minions & bosses. Difference between Time Dungeons & Planet Challenges - resources farmed are not included in progression - VIP owners can complete the challenge automatically by pressing “rush” button next to travel

Quest Redesign: - Quests are available to the player starting from planet Trollheim and speaking with Adventurer NPC. There are 3 quests available to the player, once the player has opened the quest menu = the quests become active and start counting progress. - New quests can be accessed by waiting for the timer to run out or by watching an ad to reroll available quests. - Quest reward amounts are based on quest difficulty, the default reward for completing a quest are in-game Quest Tokens - Quest “Main” reward becomes claimable once “x” quests are completed - Quests are split into 2 categories (new quest system removes “invasion” quests) - Deliver "x" amount of resources - Hunt "x" amount of monsters - Player can receive up to 3 quests at the same time from any category. - Quest are accessible through NPC on planets, menu side button, clicking on progression panel - Quests are split into 5 difficulty levels, represented by keys under the quest. Difficulty directly influences the amount of monsters to be slain & amount of resources to be gathered & donated to the planet. Each difficulty equals to an amount of time to be played by the player - Quests can be reset in two methods: - Reroll by watching ad - Reroll with ticket - Completing quests awards players keys that are counted towards the grand prize. Keys are a direct representation of quest difficulty = more difficult quests will grant more progress towards the prize. 2023.03.22 14:15 Geoffk123 How to Farm Ports Scrolls/Scrolling in the Deep Achievement for Trim req

Based on the upcoming completionist cape strikes obtaining all 108 ports scrolls will be a future trim req. Now on the surface this sounds miserable, Ports is timegated and assuming you never fail a voyage and always get a scroll voyage thats a 108 day grind at the minimum. Your current progress probably looks something like this if you're currently trimmed and even that is like a 50 day grind at minimum.
However thanks to Player owned ports enhancers you can knock out this req fairly quickly.
The Elite Dungeon Reward Shop sells them for 50k each (46.5k with outfit) and they can be used to give you a random event reward. Each enhancer has 5 charges. You can view the shop by talking to Bryll Thoksdottir at ED2, Daemonheim or the beach on Aminishi.
After buying some enhancers you can view them at Wythien near the Gorajo resource dungeon in Prifddinas. Wythien -> Enhancers -> Toggle Enhancer Effects - > Player-owned ports enhancer. Fortunately theres a cap on ports rewards so you can force enhancers to only give you adventurer rerolls by capping out on everything else.
Additionally you can further improve your chances of scroll voyages by setting up Telescope totem hotspots for 3000 jade and 2000 cherrywood each but this is kind of expensive and also unnecessary. Totem of Navigation from Anachronia can also be used to speed up voyages

  1. Make sure you have an unfinished scroll selected, the last thing you want to do is waste voyages on scrolls youve already completed
  2. Cap out on all other Ports event rewards, you should see the message You have already maxed out every reward available from this. (You can right click convert all btw)
  3. Reroll special voyages until you get a scroll voyage and send it out and convert enhancers as necessary. You should only be getting adventurer rerolls from now on.
  4. Repeat step 3 until you send out 4 scroll voyages or however many you want to
I just stand next to Wythien and send out voyages via the Captain's Log then I convert enhancers as necessary.
If you want to further improve your odds you could use the Morale/combat/seafaring boosts as necessary but will be more costly to do so.
Using this method you can send out 4 scroll voyages every day and Cut down the time required dramatically.

2023.03.22 03:08 Caleb_WoW I need help picking a class.

I have such a rough time with thinking I’ve found my main and then wanting to reroll into something else. I’ve played just about every class (atleast tried them I haven’t maxed every class) and I’ve come down to the fact that I really want to have the option to tank. So that leaves me with 5 classes atleast. The problem now is choosing between these 5. I can’t find a balance between playstyle and class fantasy. So I will list what I think of the 5 for more context. If there are any tips or tricks that you have used to choose your main please let me know so I can be at peace and play the game 😭
Warrior - I like the damage specs if I don’t feel like tanking but the warrior class fantasy seems bland at times. (This has been my main since dragonflight started so I am pretty confident I want something else).
Paladin - I used to main Paladin during shadowlands. The playstyle is fun but I can’t get behind the class fantasy the light just doesn’t do it for me.
Death Knight - Class fantasy is pretty sweet and each spec feels different and have a different aesthetic. My only issue with this class is mobility which I really like to have. Also I’m not sure I’m all in on the playstyle of blood.
Druid - I would think this would be my go to since I’m very indecisive but I do not like the class fantasy or the races available to the class so this one is basically a no go for me.
Demon Hunter - demon hunter is a ton of fun playstyle wise and the lore is so cool but not having variety between specs kind of bums me out along with basically all of their abilities being green and appearing the same so I feel like I have to stick with the fel theme with DH mogs or I feel out of place.
I’m not sure if I’m just too indecisive or if I just need some recommendations from more experienced players so please help.

2023.03.20 07:00 Jarbus4 Event Megathread - Unmei Kounen (March 2023)

This is a GROWING SELECTION. In this event, there are Selection Boards with 9 squares on them, with each square containing a song. Each board has a designated main reward (gems, an Event R Fragment, or one of the two Event SRs) that you will see on the the left hand side in the board menu. If you play a song on the board, you clear that square and get a reward. If you clear all of the squares on the board, you get a main reward and move onto the next one, which will have a new set of songs. The event song will take up multiple spaces (at least for the first 3), and one play of it will clear all of them, meaning you won't necessarily have to play 9 total songs.
After you've cleared a board, your new board will show up and you can choose to keep it or reroll the non-event songs by tapping on the button in the bottom right corner. Keep in mind that you cannot skip to a board with a reward you'd prefer; you will have to progress through them sequentially.
By playing songs, you will also receive event points, which will grant you Event Point Rewards. Unlike GROWING [email protected] (token events), the Event Song is not restricted behind gaining a resource, and instead can be played with stamina. While we do not have any solid numbers yet, regular lives will get you a set amount of points depending on Score and Difficulty, and the event song will grant you 2x the points of regular lives. Once you finish your boards, it is recommended that you play the event song if you want to maximize your point-per-stam gain.
You can also receive 100 Event Points through Oshigoto.
Once available, the board layouts, exact event point gain by difficulty and grade, and rewards will be listed below in tables. If you have any resources for these, please post them down below!

2023.03.19 06:25 JonBoombo Please tell me how the token shop changes are not going to completely ruin this game lol

I just started playing late January. Hit pool 3 at the beginning of the month/tail end of February. My pulls have been garbage and my token shop rolls are dogshit. I have no cards on any "top 10 essential s3 cards" list anywhere on the internet. No she hulk, no aero, no zero, no wave, Sera, Dracula, knull, lockjaw, wong. And I'm constantly losing to decks with at least three of these cards included. The only remotely good cards I have pulled are doom and death. And red skull, but no zero taskmaster or shuri so loll. I literally have a "win matches with a snap" quest it took me three days to complete because I cannot freaking win a game for the life of me in this pool. Some of it is skill yes, but I'm constantly losing specifically to the cards listed above. This game has turned from one of my favorites to one of the most frustrating. The only deck that I can consider even somewhat complete is a Death deck. But without knull, I'm constantly losing to objectively superior destroy decks with death and wave and knull that just get the benefits from everything I'm doing, but with 3x better payoff.
And after hoarding 5400 tokens gathered from bundles token tuesdays and "lucky" cache pulls (would much rather have a card) it sounds like if I don't get all of those cards in the next two days of rerolls I should just drop the game? How am I ever going to compete with these people who have objectively, factually better cards than mine that they got 50x easier than I will come Wednesday?
They say they "don't want the series 3 journey to become trivial". Is it a hot take to say the "sErIeS 3 JoUrNeY" is the worst part of the game by a longshot? Prolonging it is one of the dumbest, most out of touch decisions I've ever heard. No one enjoys losing to things they can't do themselves because the game won't allow them to until they have suffered an arbitrary period of time.
To be constructive, if they really want to go through with mind-boggling stupid decision, my resolution would be to do that, BUT.
Take the "Series 3 essentials," which can be argued, but we all, Second Dinner, included, know generally what those cards are. Take them, put them in a Pool 3 that functions just like Pools 1 and 2. Then take everything else and out it in a "Pool 4" with series 3,4, and 5 that functions like it does today.
As it is, you cannot win consistently enough in Pool 3 to make any satisfying progress without at least 4 of those essential cards. These changes will make that feat nigh impossible, and thus enjoying the game nigh impossible. Exacerbated by the fact you'll still have to compete with the people that were lucky enough to have bought those cards before this atrocity lol
BTW, I'm not really trying to argue with the title. I would legitimately like someone to explain any kind of bright side to this change lol I would like to think there is some good to be found in this.

2023.03.18 03:32 yogijear PSA: You can close the app and re-launch it to "reload" the map that you're on

After hitting a wall of sitting on lots of credits with no tokens to upgrade, I decided to make one last run on hell on earth pt2 with whatever gear I had. What got me through was save scumming.
If you have 1+ enemy alive on the map and you quit and reload the game, you'll be back to w/e your health was when you started the level, in fact, the map will reload with different enemies so you can "roll" an easier map. As soon as you kill that last enemy though, if you quit out you'll load into the next map and your health will be carried over.
You can even pause the game as soon as you die to reload the level.
Even the first 3 bosses of Hell On Earth Pt 2 can be "rerolled" and seems to randomize between blaster soldier, cacodemon, imp, whiplash.
