I truly, genuinely wish, we knew the truth about jesus christ and his life on this very planet 🌎 at that specific time ✨ in this particular universe 💫 why then? how many other times has he been here? and why did the disciples take 75y to document his life? why isn’t there ONE collection of these books? why such cloak and mirrors?
I M H O jesus is the biggest badass extraterrestrial alien of all time 🔥✝️ 🌴 a shapeshifter 🐾 and a multidimensional spirit 🫧 and I love him 🥰
he is the foremost influencer of this realm we call reality .. the realm that I’ve now come to realize is a simple game of strategy

There's this girl who's been my friend for almost 10 years. We've been very close for a long time and she's known for having lots of physical and mental health problems. Over the years, she's been through many traumatic events. However, a few years ago, I started noticing that the version she gave me was not always quite the same as the one she gave other friends of ours. These differences seemed like little details but it bugged me. To name a few: - She had an ovarian issue, not sure what it was. She told me it was just a tiny mass, she told another friend doctors told her it was cancer - She's had trouble going through uni because of her mental health but told me she had arrangements with the administration to be able to pass her classes. She even told me she was teaching a class of first years as a teacher's assistant. Turns out I discovered she never even got her Bacheeelor's degree (she shared classes with a friend of mine and, when the university published the list of the graduates' names, she wasn't in it. I even looked through the other years' lists to be sure she was supposed to graduate that year, never found her name).
On top of that, every single time she goes through something, it has to happen the worst way possible (every time she goes to a hospital, the staff is horrible to her, she gets hit on by male nurses, the doctors don't take care of her properly etc.)
All of that aside, she still is one of my closest and best friends, the kind you can tell anything to and will never be judged or let down by.
My question is: Am I an asshole for second guessing awful things she tells me? I want to believe her, and most of the time I do at first, but I can't help wondering if what she tells me is a 100% true, altered to make it more interesting, or a 100% false. I feel like she's doing that because she likes to be pitied and wants to show everyone she has it worse than them, and I refuse to condone that.
TL;DR: I feel like my best friend doesn't always tell me the truth about awful things that happen to her and I second guess everything she tells me. Am I an asshole?

Hi everyone, I have been confused about my relationship for quite some time and I need some advice. Me (27 F) and my boyfriend (32 M) have been together for over 3 years and we have been through a-lot in our relationship, with lots of ups and downs. We previously lived together however we both moved back home a year ago because we were getting into arguments too often resulting in him getting angry at me and yelling at me over little things. He has a short temper, is very defensive and doesn't like communication or confrontation. Over the last year of living apart, we have been trying our best to work on our relationship however we have still had some issues.
Over the last 18 months of our relationship, he has gained 40KG. I am not feeling attracted to him anymore because he has become very lazy, doesn't eat healthily and doesn't seem to care about his health or weight at all. I have tried talking to him about losing weight and seeing a dietitian, however every time I try to talk to him about it, he gets angry and defensive. Recently, we were going for a walk and I tried to talk to him about his weight in a calm and kind manner. I advised that I think he should seek help from a dietitian for his health and his weight because I am concerned for him. In this, he got very defensive and angry. He yelled at me in the street and told me that he doesn't like to be told what to do. He walked away from me, got into his car and drove away. He didn't talk to me for hours after this and gave me silent treatment.
Although I love him dearly, I don't know what to do anymore. I am not feeling physically and emotionally attracted to him. I have tried my best to have appropriate and civil conversations with him, however because he has a short temper, I feel like I am walking on egg shells. He always tells me that he doesn't like the 'tone' that I talk in when I talk to him about these things, however I say it in the nicest way possible. I am feeling like this is just going nowhere and I just wish he would care about himself so he can look good and feel good.
I have never gone to Reddit for advice, however I am at breaking point. What are your thoughts?
TL;DR: I am not attracted to my boyfriend anymore, who has been emotionally abusive in the past. He has gained weight and is short tempered, making it impossible to have appropriate conversations. He is not willing to change his ways.

Hi everyone, I have been confused about my relationship for quite some time and I need some advice. Me (27 F) and my boyfriend (32 M) have been together for over 3 years and we have been through a-lot in our relationship, with lots of ups and downs. We previously lived together however we both moved back home a year ago because we were getting into arguments too often resulting in him getting angry at me and becoming emotionally abusive by yelling at me over little things. He has a short temper, is very defensive and doesn't like communication or confrontation.
Over the last 18 months of our relationship, he has gained 40KG. I am not feeling attracted to him anymore because he has become very lazy, doesn't eat healthily and doesn't seem to care about his health or weight at all. I have tried talking to him about losing weight and seeing a dietitian, however every time I try to talk to him about it, he gets angry and defensive. Recently, we were going for a walk and I tried to talk to him about his weight in a calm and kind manner. I advised that I think he should seek help from a dietitian for his health and his weight because I am concerned for him. In this, he got very defensive and angry. He yelled at me in the street and told me that he doesn't like to be told what to do. He walked away from me, got into his car and drove away. He didn't talk to me for hours after this and gave me silent treatment.
Although I love him dearly, I don't know what to do anymore. I am not feeling physically and emotionally attracted to him. I have tried my best to have appropriate and civil conversations with him, however because he has a short temper, I feel like I am walking on egg shells. He always tells me that he doesn't like the 'tone' that I talk in when I talk to him about these things, however I say it in the nicest way possible. I am feeling like this is just going nowhere and I just wish he would care about himself so he can look good and feel good.
I have never gone to Reddit for advice, however I am at breaking point. What are your thoughts?
TL;DR: I am not attracted to my boyfriend anymore, who has been emotionally abusive in the past. He has gained weight and is short tempered, making it impossible to have appropriate conversations. He is not willing to change his ways.

Recently diagnosed AuDHD and a lifetime of depression. Things are pretty hard right now and I'm leaning a lot on my partner and finding it hard to engage with or enjoy anything. It's hard to keep up things like basic conversations and the house is a mess. I'm having issues navigating myself through private diagnosis/NHS mental health care. I'm managing to hang on to my job, barely. I'm medicated for depression but I'm fairly sure I've reached 'poop out' and having regular big dips
I said sorry to my partner today for not being very good company. And went on to say how I felt he and the cats would be better off without me and cried a bit. He joked that the cats had been telling him about my crap banter and then changed the subject. I guess with that I might have confirmation of what I feared. I don't blame him really, I wouldn't want to deal with me for over a decade either.

Hello! Hope you're doing alright, fellow person!It's been a long time since I've last posted on Reddit.In this post, I would just like to talk about stuff like philosophy, my mental state, my place in this world, and similar concepts. I hope you enjoy.
So what's up with me? I've always been, and through the observation of what "normal human behaviour" is, felt different. It's not even that I don't have a clue, there's just no signs of this state ever separating from me. And the thing about my experience, is that it seems to be inherently difficult to try and classify my state into any real category of mental disorders.But, using the availability of a "List of mental disorder A-Z", I can try to describe my own condition in terms of some sort of combination of these mental disorders.Actually, no, it seems a bit too arbitrary to be lending itself to be accurate to my real experience.That's just the thing right. The world is so complicated it's inherently a challenge to make explanations and "diagnoses" of the world that are simultaneously trivial to understand for humans, and accurate to reality.
Now I have always had significant trouble trying to interact with people, "normal" ones, at least.Because everyone in my life, that I have, currently, is indeed a normal person, or so is claimed by everyone else. I just can not interact normally. My brain like, doesn't ... do that?And I'm saying "doesn't" because I think that, theoretically, my brain is able to do it it just, doesn't...Like, I be in a situation where I observe people interacting right. Through careful observation of dozens of these interactions I can internally create a mental image of what ways this group of people interacts in. And like, I know EXACTLY what I sound like when I say this, and I apologize, but I've been feeling completely undiagnosed for my entire life. Sure, I'm only 16, let's see how many more can we go. Idk, it's just. It feels like the correct thing to do would be for me to stand up for myself and really point out that, yes, I don't feel normal at all, never have and who knows if I will, and just.
SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT ME. But there is a very significant notion in my mental space that's making this "procedure of diagnosis" very difficult. It's the notion of "but I'm just faking it."IN MY OWN HEAD. It feels like I am so close, yet so far, from being eligible to be diagnosed with a legitimate mental disorder. Or neurodevelopmental disorder. I don't know what else but there is SOMETHING in my brain that is just RELENTLESSLY ATYPICAL.
Am I just a normal person with very specific and atypical interests and passions who just happens to have more trouble with socialising, and properly interacting with the world?Or am I legitimately neurodivergent, or autistic, or OCD, or whatever else, there's so many potential ones I swear, and I am simply not getting diagnosed. This is just not getting recognized about me.I HAVE NO IDEA, IS MY POINT. I JUST DON'T KNOW.

You can make your own sense out of the world, your own belief, anything, that may help you on this wild journey that no one warned you about.
But of course, the appeal of nihilism occasionally slips up as plausible, and, you start to lose hope, in everything. You begin to wonder, what the heck was the purpose of the world, if this is how it's going. And, if you think about it, the very fact alone that you can ask that about the world, already shows that something is definitely not okay.Why am I here if this place is not designed to accomodate for me?Why does nobody take this stuff seriously?Why is it "normal" in our world to live lives that are dull, monotonous, incredibly mundane, filled with emotional pain and dissatisfaction with your position (your conditions, environment, job, treatment)?Why does suffering seem so incredibly normalised to me in our society, and yet, whenever I would even dare to complain, I would be told by others "Oh quit complaining already it's nothing please just stop being dramatic". So then I immediately start to question my suffering, I feel dumb for feeling so shit, and wtf is that even about. But than I would be happy, because fuck suffering apparently, BUT THEN I would be told "We are all feeling shit right won't you please have some sympathy?!"
Look, I admit, these are exaggerated for the purposes of this post. But my point is.It basically feels like NEITHER of suffering or happiness seem to be the correct choice for some of the people around me. I guess my parents in particular. And like, I am POSITIVE that this perception of mine, of how to interpret emotionally what people are saying, has been influenced very heavily by my childhood. Just, everything about this particular environment. To some degree I feel like I am an amalgamation of people's behaviours and belief systems.And don't get me started on statements like "BUT WHO ISN'T". I hate that with passion. Just, the notion. Like idk about you, but to me, intuitively, being aware that other people are also suffering, it makes me feel EVEN WORSE. Like idk isn't this how empathy is supposed to work? Or is this just "not a use case for empathy" or what is going on. Please just tell me, dear normal people. I'm being serious.I genuinely have trouble figuring this stuff out and I NEED your input, I NEED your point-of-view to put things in perspective. Your effort is genuinely appreciated!
Alright now we can return to the topic of mental health. I will talk about work, about love, and other stuff. So, my relationship with work is basically: "I can only present my work to other people when I am confident that I am satisfied with it." Really, the ideal kind of job for me, would be free-lancing.But over here in the real world, I need to go to school, and uh, school really puts a bar on this mindset I have when it comes to work. My thought process is basically: "Okay, we got this project that's due... Wednesday. Huh. By my personal standards of how much time and effort I need to put in a work, and by having experience with how efficiently I can generally spend resources in order to produce certain work, I can certainly NOT have the project be done by Wednesday."It's always shrugged off, like, "Oh you don't have autism" but seriously what do I have then.
Anyway, yea, after I come to that conclusion, my thought process is like this: "Well, since I don't have enough time to work on the project, which is certainly one of the requirements my work has to meet, I CAN NOT be satisfied this work when turning it in on Wednesday. Therefore, I'll just have to suffer. Fxxk I must deserve it. What a piece of shit I am. I deserve this. I deserve this rotten condition."Yeah. I uh. I really think like that. I know exactly how toxic it is. Just mentally unpleasant in several ways in general. But that doesn't stop me one bit. Not at this point of my life.I just ... let myself suffer because that's what I believe to deserve, then think back, and be like "oh man, I could've not suffered by trying harder or doing smth else or literally anything else and that would've been better, but I don't deserve that "better" either, so it's all fine in the end."And, I am even lucky to be able to recognise just how unhealthy that thinking pattern is.Some people aren't fortunate enough to even just be able to recognise what their own thoughts really are.
But I refuse to give up. I can see how strange and atypical and uncertain I feel in my situation, and I want to have the courage to solve it. And one of the desires that's definitely present in my soul, is to be there to help other people. I don't even know whether I can find the right words, but, I just have an extreme amount of concern for the well-being for others. I care, immensely so.So please, if you have any problems going on right now in your life, please tell me all about it in the form of writing a comment. I want to turn things right. There is something in me that just won't give up.

(Lengthy Post Ahead) Hello! Anyone here who is also the designated caregiver to their elderly parents? I wish to talk sana to people like me and at least share naman how to not get too overwhelmed by the responsibilities. Im in my late 30s and just recently been engaged. I have been taking care of my parents for quite sometime now. Siguro it’s because I have always been single and my older sister got married early, which was an excuse na din kasi me sarili syang family to not take care of my parents. Well, I have been feeling overwhelmed lately because of a lot of things na nag pile up na. I have always took care of my parents financially kasi like most Pinoy parents, they did not prepare for their retirement and umasa lang sa mga anak nila to take care of their needs pag tanda nila. Since my sister is married na nga, I am left to take care of their needs not just financially but also sa medical and health related things which is totally challenging ah. Recently pinatayuan ko din sila ng small home in the province kasi pinagpilitan din nila yan since ayaw na daw nilang tumira sa Manila. That cut off a big chunk from my savings dahil sa laki ng gastos kahit medyo small house lang sya. Now my problem is, since I have been engaged recently, I was hoping that I could also start saving money naman finally for myself so I can use it to start my own life with my soon to be husband. I talked to my family and told them na tulungan naman ako with all the responsibilities kasi ako naman mag start ng sarili ng life ko. But after I did parang hindi lang nila pinansin and pretended like nothing will change. I sometimes feel like ang unfair kasi hindi nila siguro na consider na I will be living my own life too and just assumed that I will be the primary caregiver to my parents kasi never siguro nila kinonsider that I eventually will start my own family. I also hate the fact that my parents did not prepare for their retirement, and I most hate the fact that I always feel guilty whenever I think like this towards them, kasi napaka walang kwenta ko namang anak kung pabayaan ko lang sila even though me right din naman akong magkaron ng sariling buhay. Anyone else in this kind of situation? I need tips naman please?

Back story: I (28F) met my “ex”(34M) if you can even call it that) a few years ago. At the time I was single and “so was he”. Well, I got pregnant and of course the truth starts to come out from everyone else except him. He was engaged and ultimately their relationship ended for his infidelity. Fast forward a few months later, I found out I tested positive for Herpes Simplex Virus 2. I was devastated. I was even told that having a vaginal birth could pass it on to my child and be deadly, so I had to have a c-section.
When I told him that I had herpes, he reassured me and told me that it would be okay and that he’d still want to be with me. He even said that I could have had it for a long time and not known I had it… (sus.) I fell into a depression and I have hated myself for years because I just feel dirty.
After having our child, I found out he’d been lying to me and had gotten married to another woman. We even confronted each other but ultimately she stayed with him until they got divorced about a year or so later.
I hate to say it, but I gave him another chance. He made me feel happy when I was around him but now I see that he’s just a really great later and only cares for himself. Another girl came into the equation and things ended bitterly with them both. She messaged me and told me that I gave my ex herpes and that she has it now too. She was so upset and I felt so guilty. It was after this that I finally cut him off.
I get a message from his previous ex before me and after conversing about our ex for a while, she confirmed that HE HAS HERPES. And he’s known for YEARS. He gave it to her, to me, and to many other women! Once we find out, he uses it to get comfort and security from him. Once I found this out, I stopped talking to him.
Fast forward to now, another ex of his reaches out to me. She’s devastated about his cheating, outburst, physical abuse… he’s spiraling downward. I told her about my condition and she informed me he has a new girl.
I messaged her.
I told her and showed her my results. He’s the common link between me and all his exes having this. He showed her his results and he didn’t even test himself for HSV specifically. So he goes around showing his “clean bill of health” knowing his HSV results won’t be on there.
I don’t feel guilty for telling her. I wish someone would have told me.

In general, it's important for me to listen to my body and prioritize rest during a post-exertional malaise episode. Pushing myself too hard, with too much activity, could make my symptoms worse and prolong my recovery time.
So, When afflicted with PEM & feeling restless, some of the best ways I can distract myself while still engaging in self-care, are to prioritize activities that include physical and cognitive rest. Sometimes reading a book is good, but sometimes reading feels like too much work. listening to music or podcasts is good sometimes unless I’m needing more severe sensory deprivation to recover. Doing some light stretching, like turning my head from side to side, or pulling my knees to my chest, or practicing calm abiding meditation, or doing some light breathing exercises in bed, are, thank goodness, always manageable.
When I’m looking for relaxation activities during PEM, there are many options. But when I’m having cabin fever at the same time and feeling like I just want to jump out of my skin, is when PEM management is most challenging. Do I stay in bed or go to the gym where I can use their mechanical massage chair and thus get the benefits of passive exercise. Or, do I take a warm shower, and then go back to bed for some deep breathing exercises.
Restlessness versus rest, during a PEM episode, can go any number of different ways. Balancing intelligence with the discipline of choosing the best, most helpful and least exacerbating activities is the challenge of today’s PEM.
How do I best respect my CFS & PEM in this moment, and this one, and this one….. For now writing about it has felt good and is an activity I can do while still lying down in bed and that is somewhat therapeutic. But, I will be done writing soon and what I really want, is to go use the massage chair at the gym. Its only 1 mile away, but it would still require driving. So, I think that’s not a good choice for now.
A shower sounds nice, but I still need to wait until I’m feeling better. So, for now that leaves staying in bed as being the best choice. To deal with the restlessness I choose soft meditative music on a very, very low volume level with some gentle mindfulness relaxation breathing and some calm abiding meditation. Then, if all goes well, in a few hours, maybe I’ll feel well enough to take a shower and maybe even go outside to lie down in the shade with a book to keep me company. If not, then I’ll stay in bed because I really want to minimize this current PEM episode and have a better tomorrow.

I’ve probably thought I was each type at least 10 times haha.
I don’t think that I am an IXXJ type or EXXJ type.
This is the best I could think of in how to describe myself.
I find reality kind of boring and prefer to just explore other worlds through film, video games, books, etc.
I’m all about doing what is fun and seems good at any given moment and I’m kind of bad at knowing what I want a lot of the time and change my mind frequently.
I’m a non serious person. I don’t take myself seriously and my entire goal is just to make people laugh even at my own expense. I don’t really like deep, serious conversation with people and would prefer to just keep it surface level.
I’d say I overindulge in the sensory but still somehow end up completely fine despite it. I don’t think I’m practical or realistic though and I’ve always been bad at sports.
I’m a tall (ish) guy at 6ft1 and very broad so I’ve always had a size advantage over a lot of people.
My memory of the past is pretty impressionistic (if that’s the right word). I can remember the general overview but nothing else. The future is something I have no idea about and prefer not even to take seriously.
I want everything to be simple a lot of the time. I don’t have a lot of patience for complexity for its own sake.
I’d say I’m not really emotional but I have values and don’t really condone immoral actions and people.
I’m completely fine with being alone and wouldn’t say I have ever had any close friends, just acquaintances and I kind of don’t care.
I hate work and serious boring stuff it’s just not interesting to me.
I have literally no idea where I want to take my life and what direction to go in so I just do whatever.
I’m kind of awkward and clumsy a lot of the time but also perceptive and physical at the same time?
I used to like going out and drinking but I’m a lot more low key nowadays. I just play games and watch stuff generally, go for walks and chill out.
I’m quite prone to taking things to extremes like binge eating/drinking, playing video games all day, exercising non stop some days and then doing absolutely nothing at all some days.
I’m kind of paranoid about the future and I tend to catastrophise a lot especially when it comes to my health or finances or any stuff like that which I usually hate to even think about.
I listen to a large variety of music; metal, punk, rock, indie, pop, rap, whatever I don’t really care about the meaning or lyrics I just like a cool sounding song.
I wouldn’t consider myself creative but I enjoy the creative work others do. I’m not particularly practical either.
I kind of prefer to just wing it with everything.
I can be quite oppositional to things I don’t like and stand my ground a lot.
I would consider myself ambiverted. I can be extroverted and open in communication and I’ve got a good grasp of how to come across to others but I just kind of don’t care and prefer to do my own thing always.
I can go weeks without speaking to anyone, my social media is completely empty and I don’t care about validation really.
I’d say I’m decently intelligent but I know I’m nothing special in that area. I did well enough in education but I just didn’t care about it and dropped out without considering the consequences.
I’m somewhat opinionated but I do prefer to just live and let live.
I really hate prejudice and people who take everything super seriously.
