I have always supported and thought the WGTOW would be my community. I’d been on my own for six years alone. I met a man a year ago and it was a whirlwind romance. He moved into my house. But he was a convert narcissistic alcoholic. I’ve been floored by the things I learned this week. My heart is broken. I need help to get over him and re-center myself.
I’m on my own with 3 children plus an adopted child. No family. People tell me turn into the kids and they should be your main focus. But quite frankly, it’s not. I need to focus on me. I love my children. But if I did it over again, I would not have children, that’s a fact I can’t change. My job is to raise successful adults. Not coddle or rely on my children. I’ll admit my youngest, almost seven year old is the one I’m closest with.
It is not resentment. I am not jaded. I just see men and the dating world for what it is. I want no part of it. Traditional values are gone. This world is not for me. I am a young, relatively attractive, educated, intelligent, well employed and have secure assets with retirement already paid for.
I need to recommit myself to the wgtow lifestyle. But I need to get stronger first. That is my problem and what I need help with. I need to find peace.
In the last few days, I did a two day cpr course to occupy my mind. I spent a day at a healing garden at a local botanical garden enjoying the gardens. I sat in a coffee shop and just enjoyed doing my crossword in my newspaper. As I’m typing this, I’m relaxing in my local library. But I need help finding other things to do to occupy my time and mind and space until some time passes. My goal is to get to the “Time heals all wounds” point. Any suggestions on what to do to occupy my time?

is just me or is the worst boss yet? his last phase even diches his core mechanic and just becames a very resistant blob with no weakness. i tried every element and all of them were just "no, arrow of dmg pointing down, and you cant break it"
Electric didnt fill his break bar, neither did Ice. Fire absolutly not, and Wave is out of the question. And for the main mechanic of charging electric balls it just ignored them like they were nothing. And if i did a lv3 combo on it, the blob will just bounce and became untargetable hitting me in the air and almost killing me.
Is there like hidden mechanic that makes this boss compeling or is just bad? the moth and the electric one were cool.

Hello, After 20 years of being depressed probably, I'm starting to think about trying a medication. Ive tried St John's Wort before and it worked a bit but I discontinued because I think caused me to have eye twitching which is finally tapering off after more than a year. I've been reluctant to try anti depressants as I'm terrified of gaining weight. I've always been thin and I don't think I can handle loosing that identity. I'm not super low energy, my house is clean, I go to work. I just feel no joy, have rock bottom self esteem, can't bring myself to date for fear of rejection (but one day I might date again so I want to have a sex drive), I'm avoidant and closed up, and I feel hopeless, and I have a lot of SI (don't worry, never any plans, I just fantasize SI, and have for 2 decades). I recently started Vyvanse for some ADHD symptoms (to stay focused--not really hyperactive)--sometimes when the Vyvanse first hits for the first 2 hours I feel a bit happy and more open. How do you know which antidepressant to try? Would this one work for my symptoms? I want to go to my doctor with some knowledge on the subject.

28 Female non smoker 162cm 52kg No other medical issues
Started 8 days ago with a sudden pain in middle of chest. Next day pain was radiating to back and left shoulder and most prominent when breathing in.
Went to the doctor and he recommended A&E due to it sounding obviously heart related. Tests came back clear and they assumed a inflammation of the heart sack perhaps due to a viral infection. Recommended strong pain killers.
Pain killers are not working and the pain is getting worse. Movement is starting to also trigger the pain, but mainly it comes on stronger when breathing in, sneezing etc. The pain is sometimes so bad I struggle to breathe
Any ideas on this? It came about very randomly, have not done anything strenuous that I can think injured a muscle.
I also say 'shoulder' because it doesn't really feel like the shoulder, feels much deeper.
Im going to go back to the doctors but just wondered if there was any other advice I could get.

I’m in an ongoing campaign with some friends who are all mostly new to D&D. The party is 6th level and I’m considering switching from my Wizard (who I’m not really enjoying) to a Druid.

War Domain Cleric Elements Monk (has sentinel and likes to frontline) Arcane Trickster Rogue (mostly melee) Lore Bard (has fireball and haste) Beast Master Ranger (mostly ranged)
I’m trying to decide between Moon, Stars and Wildfire.
My main goals are complimenting the party mix and providing some support, debuff and control options but also having things to do besides concentrating and cantriping which is what I feel like I’m stuck doing all the time on my wizard.

So here’s why Raquel is the mastermind behind everything. We know she’s a fan of the show and then seeks out James and starts dating him to get on the show. She didn’t care about James constantly cheating on her because she never liked James and just wanted an in on the show. But this all kind of backfired because she was never really a star of the show like Brittany was so she makes sure to integrate herself with the rest of the group (become bffs w scheana and Ariana). She was never gonna marry James so she had to end it and does it in the most dramatic way possible right before the reunion. This makes her the star of the reunion and guarantees her spot on the show. She’s always hated lala because lala was never buying her bullshit act. She also never gave 2 shits about scheana and Ariana she just needed a reason to be on the show. She watched the show so she knows what went down w the whole Tom Ariana and Kristen thing. Tom and ariana were able to be bffs on the show and he spent season 2 making Kristen look crazy (and she definitely didn’t help herself). Now in season 3 Ariana gets on the show and everyone totally accepts this relationship. She becomes a star of the show and the main couple of VPR. Raquel and Tom had a plan to do the same thing where they bond next season over getting out of these long term abusive relationships and start dating and make Ariana and James look like horrible crazy people. If they weren’t caught this totally would’ve worked. Everyone would’ve been like yay Raquel she found her voice and found someone who makes her feel “seen.” She doesn’t show any empathy towards ariana and scheana because they never were true friends in her eyes just a means to an end. And I don’t think she even really liked Sandoval she just saw this as a way to secure her spot as the star of VPR. That’s why she’s able to give that interview at the end and betray him. Now she needs to pivot and make it look like Tom was manipulating her and she had to keep up all his lies.

I've been seeing a lot of chatter about how the developers never cared about the timeline, or that the "current" timeline is something they forced together to appease fans back in 2011.
I have my own opinions regarding the matter of what fans consider the official timeline, but the idea that the developers never tried to connect the games until more recent Zelda history is not correct.
Some time ago, I wrote a very long paper regarding this topic. I have no desire to repost it here, so instead I am going to do a quick and dirty summary of proof that almost every game until the BotW and Totk era had developer comments (or in-game references) that connected the games in some form of a timeline.

Furthermore, these developer comments in particular only tell us what the developers intended at the time, and it may no longer reflect the current timeline situation now.

LttP - LoZ

From the LttP player's guide: “Although The Legend of Zelda appeared first in the series of Zelda adventures, it actually takes place many years after the third game. In this time, Hyrule had declined, becoming a rustic land with few remaining signs of its former glory.”
An interview from Miyamoto published on Dec 20, 1991. From the translated page, here are the contents: Gods made Hyrule, Triforce was found and Ganon was born, Rise of Agahnim, Ganon revival (LoZ), Link is now 17 years old (AoL).

From an interview with Satoru Takizawa (character and enemy designer for OoT), published on Nov 11, 1998 (translated): "This time, the story really wasn't an original. We were dealing with the "The Imprisoning War of the Seven Sages" from the SNES edition Zelda. To give that game a little "secret" recognition, I thought that keeping the "pigness" in Ganon would be the correct course. So we made him a beast "with the feeling of a pig.""
From an interview with Toru Osawa (script director for OoT), published Dec 8, 1998 (translated): "In the SNES edition game, the story "Long ago, there was a war called the Imprisoning War" was passed along. A name in the Imprisoning War era is the name of a Town later. They were like "pseudo-secrets." We wanted to throw these out through the entirety of the game. That thing from then is now this. Though in this game Zelda is now included in the Seven Sages, the other six have the names of the town names from the Disk System edition "The Adventure of Link.""
There is more to this particular section, but for the sake of this post's length I will not be discussing this section further.

OoT - MM

MM is a direct sequel to OoT, I do not think I need to elaborate further.

LttP - OoS/OoA

From an article produced in Feb 2000 64Dream issue on OoS/OoA (pg. 106) (translated):

• The story has been changed from the version published in "Space World 99", and it is a story that continues after the SFC version "Triforce of the Gods". Learn more about the new and changed story below.
• Link has brought peace to the land of Hyrule many times. This time from an owner of a mysterious voice. He was put to the test.
• Link defeated the priest Aghanim and the demon king Ganon. Peace returned to the land of Hyrule after regaining the Triforce of Power, Wisdom, and Courage.

FS - OoT

From an interview with Aonuma published in 2004: "The GBA Four Swords Zelda is what we’re thinking as the oldest tale in the Zelda timeline. With this one on the GameCube [(FSA)] being a sequel to that, and taking place sometime after that."
From an interview with Miyamoto from 2003: "I'm actually not all that deeply involved in this other project, but that is actually the case. We have decided that the setting for the game is that it is kind of the very beginning."
*Note, WW and FS came out within months of each other. If you read this interview, it appears Miyamoto got WW confused with FS, based on how the rest of the conversation plays out. The interview was asking about WW, Miyamoto seems to have answered about FS.

OoT - WW

From an interview with Aonuma published Dec 6, 2002:

• "You can think of this game as taking place over a hundred years after Ocarina of Time. You can tell this from the opening story, and there are references to things from Ocarina located throughout the game as well."
• "Oh, right, let me elaborate on that. Ocarina of Time basically has two endings of sorts; one has Link as a child and the other has him as an adult. This game, The Wind Waker, takes place a hundred years after the adult Link defeats Ganon at the end of Ocarina."

FS - FSA

The introduction sequence of FSA talks about the tales of FS, making it its sequel.

MC - FS

MC tells the tale of how Vaati came to be, setting it before FS automatically.

OoT - TP

From an interview with Aonuma, published in Feb 2007: "The Wind Waker is parallel. In Ocarina of Time, Link flew seven years in time, he beat Ganon and went back to being a kid, remember? Twilight Princess takes place in the world of Ocarina of Time, a hundred and something years after the peace returned to kid Link’s time. In the last scene of Ocarina of Time, kids Link and Zelda have a little talk, and as a consequence of that talk, their relationship with Ganon takes a whole new direction. In the middle of this game [Twilight Princess], there's a scene showing Ganon's execution. It was decided that Ganon be executed because he'd do something outrageous if they left him be. That scene takes place several years after Ocarina of Time. Ganon was sent to another world and now he wants to obtain the power…"

WW - PH - ST

PH and ST are both direct sequels to WW, starring the same cast and/or the stated descendants of that cast. There is no need to go further into this.

SS - MC

From an interview with Aonuma, from Nov 14, 2011): "About that time, we began talking about how that would make this the first story in the series, and we wondered about involving the birth of Hyrule Kingdom. On the other hand, there was the setting of the floating island in the sky, and we thought, "How did that get there?""

LA - LBW

From an interview with Aonuma, released Oct 17, 2013:
Spike: "Where does the game fall in the Zelda timeline? And I have Hyrule Historia for reference if you need it."
Mr. Aonuma: "Right about here. (Pointing to the Decline of Hyrule and the Last Hero branch, right between the Golden Era and Era of Decline, after Links Awakening and before The Legend of Zelda)."

LBW - TFH

From an interview with Hirosama Shikata (director of TFH), published on Oct 25, 2015: "This a few years after A Link Between Worlds, and that influence may be because I was also the director on that game. Initially, the story starts with the king recruiting hero candidates, and that's where Link steps in. But there's a part of me that doesn't want people to come into the game thinking, "Is he not a hero then? Is he just a candidate?" I want to reassure people that this Link is the hero that came from the A Link Between Worlds world. It's a little unusual for a Zelda game, but it's the same hero."

Summary

There you go. Until BotW, if the game wasn't a clear sequel or prequel to another game, we had developer comments until 2015 that gave us a pretty clear idea how the game was intended to connect, even if it didn't really connect all that well. It also didn't necessarily give us a clear timeline either (like, FSA takes place after FS but where in the world does it take place in relation to the other games?)
Now whether or not they did a good job, or if they did cobble together a timeline for HH, is another matter. But for as long as the series had a second game, the games have had some sort of connection or intended connection or stated connection to another game. Even if it was an afterthought after development.

To whom it may concern, My name is Spencer. I am an independent screenwriter, interested in doing an amalgam of the past 200 years of stage and screen adaptations of the novel (with my own ideas). My question is there a combined text that uses everything from the first published version of the novel (1818) and the revised (1831), is there an even earlier draft does anyone know? This screenplay is a distillation of various elements from the classic myth of the FRANKENSTEIN story by branching out from Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley's original novel. While it also drawing inspiration from the diverse range of works for stage and screen that have depicted this tale throughout cinematic and theatrical history. From the universal horror classics FRANKENSTEIN and THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN in the 1930s, to YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN and THE BRIDE, in the 1970s and 80s. As well the more modern yet classically inspired version in the 1990s, Mary Shelley's FRANKENSTEIN. This variation of the classic story is akin to works like Mary Shelley's FRANKENSTEIN or Bram Stoker's DRACULA. However, more precisely, it shares similarities with PETER JACKSON'S adaptation of Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack's KING KONG (originally released in 1933, reimagined in 2005). Like Jackson's film, this screenplay combines modern elements with a classical feel, offering its unique take on the material while also incorporating familiar aspects.
A similar effect can be seen in the 1970s comedy Young Frankenstein. For many, a screenplay serves as the foundation, from which a finalized film can grow. As a speculative writer and film enthusiast, I believe that a screenplay is a film written with the best intentions, to be experienced on its own, as a written copy of the movie. Striving to capture the essence of the final moving images that will ultimately captivate, entertain, and evoke emotional responses. This is part of the reason why this preface, which is not usually found in a screenplay, exists.

• Community

  What you have read so far sounds like your cup of tea? Well then you may fit right in. Laid back rules, a close knit community, having some events from time to time, and there is always something you can help with. Staff and ohter players are usually available to help you. Need help digging? Just died far away? Raid an Ocean Monument? No problem! We also have a Hermitcraft-like shop area for players using a trade shop plugin.
  

• Gameplay

  This is supposed to feel like a vanilla server. The default currency is diamonds. This is not enforced its just what everyone uses. No warps, you have to walk, fly by Elytra, or set up infrastructure such as piston bolts or blue ice highways. You can focus on long term projects, take your time, because we NEVER RESET the map. Megabases welcome. Leave for months, pick right up where you left. In +7 years time we built a lot of farms and infrastructure. This makes it a lot easier to get going early in the game, especially for endgame players. But fear not, there is always need for expanding upon whats already there.
  The spawn city is protected. Areas there are released for community builds. Outside the city you can build your own base(s). You will get more claimblocks during play.
  

• Specs & Plugins

  Hosted in Germany with 128GB Ram, a Intel i9-9900k, and 1TB NVMe SSD; the server runs on Paper. Regarding updates we don't always run the latest version but we plan to update to every major release eventually. In case an update brings a big change in world generation (e.g. 1.18) we delete chunks that have been loaded less than 5 minutes. Meaning someone likely just passed by while exploring.
  For land claiming we use GriefPrevention, which lets you protect areas you selected with a golden shovel. You can allow certain or all players to build and or access chests/buttons, on your claim. It also protects your claims and the worlds surface from creepers. Then there is also a chest shop plugin. You can use iron nuggets to create villager-like trades. You can do this anywhere, but its recommended to do this in the shopping area or your claim. Harbor is a plugin which skips the night, if 20% or more players are in bed. Lastly there is one that lets you rotate Glazed Terracotta.
  Additionally we have some datapacks and tweaks: Ghasts don't break blocks. You can silent mobs by naming them "silent" (undo with "unsilent"). Your 1st kill of the Enderdragon gets you an Elytra. Craftable Enchanted Golden Apples. Hermitcraft posable Armorstands. Some recipes have been tweaked (bone blocks directly from bones, recolor glass,... )

DAMAGE NOTICE:
When I was uninstalling my GPU from the Motherboard, the PCI-E clip broke (noted in timestamps). I have discounted the Motherboard accordingly. I would suggest using one of the new large air coolers (DeepCool/Noctua), which block the first PCI-E port anyways. This motherboard has a large quantity of PCI-E lanes, so the other ports can function as the main x16 port.

I have been experiencing brain fog symptoms since January, and also had brain fog symptoms for 4-5 months back in 2019. It can be very debilitating but I've learned what my triggers seem to be. My main triggers seem to be exercise (especially moderate/intense exercise), alcohol, and caffeine. The fact that exercise seems to be a big trigger for me is what brings me to MCAS, as I've read that it can raise histamine levels and be a sign of MCAS.
My question is, does anyone here with MCAS have brain fog/neurological symptoms as their only symptom?
I have gotten a histamine/tryptase blood test which was normal, although I wasn't in a flare. I've been taking Zyrtec and luteolin along with a lot of supplements for the past month, which seemed to coincide with a good health stretch. But I recently had a weekend where I drank alcohol, ate cheese, sugar, and had horrible allergies due to some dust in the house I was in, and experienced a pretty bad flare which I'm just coming out of.
I've gone gluten and dairy free and will try to avoid histamines, started taking pepcid along with Zyrtec, I'm getting another histamine/tryptase test done, and have found an MCAS specialist (appt in October) to be assessed, but just wondering if anyone has any advice or insight on if they have had only brain fog symptoms, as it seems like most folks have pretty severe allergy reactions. I occasionally have strong allergic reactions to dust, cats, etc like sneezing, watery eyes but the past few months since I've had it, I rarely experience that. Just the regular brain fog... Thanks

I was really craving an apple fritter this morning, so I went on down to my local small donut shop. When I got to the register to check out, there was a sign on the counter that said "ALL SALES FINAL. NO RETURNS." So I asked the lady "Do people really try to return donuts?"
And she goes "Yeah!" And the she calls to her man in the back (in Spanish): "Hey love, this lady read the sign and wanted to know if people really return donuts!" And so the guy comes out from the back and goes "No, not too much, but we have to be careful." And the lady starts vigorously shaking her head at him and goes "No, no, you don't work up here as much, they do, they do!"
And I just kind of started giggling, because I was picturing in my head somebody buying a donut and then walking outside, licking it like a hippy who just found a magical toad, and then coming back in like "Hey, this chocolate tastes subpar, I want a refund!" And they asked what I was laughing about and so I told them, and then they both started giggling, and before I knew it we were just three strangers standing in a donut shop cracking up like idiots. It reminded me of the ending of an episode of a cheesy 90s sitcom, where the main characters are all frozen laughing while the credits roll.
Can anyone remember a situation like that? Where something kind of silly or relatively mundane struck you just right and you couldn't stop laughing?

Even Diablo immortal had a queue system for groups in dungeons. I really don’t see the point I’m not having it on your main release. I know it’s not a “ARPG thing to do”. But I don’t get just not having the option if it’s literally in your mobile version. I’m also just talking for dungeons and such. Just a queue at the entrance then it disbands just like immortal.
I’m just going to play solo because LFG kinda sucks. I just wish there was an option to jump in a short queue for a dungeon.

I have recently started as an emperor the first time in 1100 hours and played with the new game rules
( Domain Limit-3, Tragic, random harm on, bi as main sexuality for more potential cucking etc.)
I also changed stability from higher to standard which lead to my opponents becoming incredibly weak due to constant rebellion and dissolution factions while I never had a faction become strong enough.
Are there any other game rules you use to make the game harder?

I’m a recent arrival from B.C. Walking around Kingston for the last month or so, I’ve had multiple near misses with drivers advancing through intersections when I’m in a marked crosswalk. Yesterday I was crossing Palace Rd. At Brock St., with one driver stopped on each side of Palace at stop signs. I proceeded through a marked crosswalk (two solid lines on either side) and one driver suddenly advanced through and came within six inches of hitting me. Initially I just thought he was just a dangerous and aggressive driver, but now that I’m reviewing Ontario’s road laws, it makes it look like drivers are not required to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk unless there is a crossing guard or a pedestrian operated light. This can’t possibly be true? If it is, I don’t know how anyone is supposed to walk in that part of town, since the nearest pedestrian operated light I could find was at Churchill Park, which creates a half mile detour just to avoid jaywalking.
