Hello [name], this is Ferris, from Management. I am pleased to welcome you to facility 305, building C, ward 9. We are simply ecstatic to have you as an employee at Emipheus. Here at Emipheus, we have rules that must be followed for the safety of everyone here. Without further delay, allow me to list these rules that shall be followed throughout the day. For your convenience, these rules have specific times that have been set to match your schedule. Please, refer to this list at the correct times. Time is EXTREMELY important here at Emipheus.
(Upon arrival, between 6:30 and 7:00) When arriving at Emipheus, please enter only through the main gate. Failure to do so will result in immediate termination. This is to keep the entire company, as well as yourself, safe. Your Superiors will know if you got caught up in M.E. traffic and you will not be reprimanded for your late status.
1A - When you get in the entry line, see a timer for 30 minutes. No matter how long or short the line you must set this timer. Failure to comply will result in an…unfavorable situation.
1B - If you are still in traffic when your timer goes off, exit your vehicle. It does not matter if you’re the next person to be checked in. Leave it behind, it will be restored in your assigned parking space once you take your leave for the day. Walk up to the gate, and do not look back, nor hesitate. A man named John will be managing the mechanism. Politely show him your badge (which must remain on your person at all times while at Emipheus) and explain your situation. He will let you. Thank him and walk into the building.
1C - Do not attempt to bypass traffic using rule 1B. John, and the other employees, will know of this disturbance and will not be happy. You do not want to see John unhappy. Wait. Your. Turn.
(Entering the building). Greet our receptionists Jade, Kelsey, and Moira. Look at their name tags, ensure you know who is who. Sign in on the kiosk. Jade should greet you first, then Kelsey, and finally Moira. In the event that they do not engage in this order, act as if you left something in your car. Walk out, and tell John of the issue. Re-enter the building when he tells you to.
(When you get past Reception) Make your way up to the office. Find your desk immediately. You should be at your desk no later than 7:15. However, aim to be there by 7:00. The 15 minute grace period is only for those who got caught in traffic. The same rules apply here as 1C. Do not take advantage of the Superior’s generosity.
(7:00 - 11:30) Do your work. You will work without taking a break (unless it is an emergency, ex. bathroom or injury) until 11:30.
(11:30 - 11:59) At 11:30, begin preparing for your noon briefing. Note anything of importance. However, ensure your notes are kept near and short. If you need to talk about something extensively, the Boss can meet with you between 3:00 and 5:00. However the Boss is very busy.
(12:00 - 12:15) At 12:00, you will go to the meeting room. The entirety of Ward 9’s employees will be there aside from security. If you notice anyone missing, report it to the security personnel outside the door. They will be taken care of.
6A - If there are no security personnel, find the nearest Superior and inform them. You may black out, but you will be safe.
(12:15 - 1:15) After the briefing ends, it’s lunch time. You can eat anything you brought from home, or you can go to the cafeteria. However, do not buy a snack from the vending machine on floor 2. We don’t know why it’s there, or how it got there. What we do know is that the food will make you very, very sick.
7A - Some days, the cafeteria will serve Hamburgers. Do not eat these. We used to have [REDACTED] cows. Chances are those are what the burgers are made of. Do not eat the burgers.
(1:15 - 1:30) Lunch ends at 1:15. At this time, you are to report to Lab 827, floor 3. Remember, this job isn’t just desk work. Be in the lab, cleansed and dressed, by 1:30. Don’t worry about not knowing how or what to do, there will be a human present to instruct you on the specifics of the cleaning procedure.
(1:30 - 3:00) By now, it should be 3:00. You have two hours to get any necessary work done. Record what you did in the lab, do more paperwork, speak to the Boss, maybe go nap if you have nothing to do and know the Superiors aren’t watching (you’ll learn their tells). At 5:00, you must report to evening wrap up.
(1:30 - 3:00) Don’t fall asleep. Do not fall asleep. They will know. They will. They will hurt you. Do not sleep. Do not surrender. You will be tired. You will be exhausted. Fight them. Fight sleep. Do not lose. Do not fall asleep.
Disregard rule 10. We don’t know why it always appears. We crossed it off for your convenience.
(5:00) Listen to whatever the Boss or Superiors need to tell you, and report anything important from either Labwork or Paperwork. When finished, you are free to go, or work overtime.
(No later than 10:00) You must leave by 10:00. If you don’t, you will be removed by security personnel. It is for the best that you leave before 10:00, though, because the later it gets the more confidential the meeting going on in Room 376C becomes.
13A - Do not seek out Room 376C. If you come across it, leave immediately. Ensure you’re not seen. You will be seen regardless, but do not let any physical entities see you.
13B - Room 376C becomes increasingly agitated as the night goes on. It wants to find you. It wants you to find it. The pull will be strong. Do not let temptation bind you. If you see Room 376C, go to sleep.
13C - Do not fall asleep.

No more than like $2k though I went huge last year on mother day and she’s returning the favor this year. I had already ordered a 70mm Freewing f-16. It fit the same batteries as my 70mm Fms Avanti.
I am looking for a balsa Arf to build out. Mid to high skill level at building. I have built 10-15 arfs of all different styles of plane.
My favorite so far is a blackhorse PC-9. I want something like a T-28 that isn’t a T-28. Low wing, high speed with flaps and retracts. Is blackhorse the best on the market right now?
The balsa brands I’ve found are blackhorse, phoenix models, nexia and the good old hanger 9/sig/great planes stuff. Are there any manufacturers Im missing out on?

There is nothing that infuriates me more than this. Asking a trans person, "can't you just be gay?" is the stupidest and most insulting thing I have ever heard. Years ago, when I wanted to transition, even a few mental health professionals tried to convince me to just be gay. Now, looking back, I can't believe how stupid and misinformed they were. If I sound angry, it's because I am very, very angry. I am angry for all the children who need to transition and have adults trying to tell them that it's all in their minds.
It was crystal-clear to me that I HAD to transition, and yet everyone tried to confuse me. Years later, it still pisses the fuck off of me. I was a child and I knew very well that I NEEDED to transition. Psychologists tried to convince me and my parents that it was just a phase and that I was going to grow out of it. Ha! A phase!?? Here I am, years later, fully transitioned, and I have never regretted my transition not even for one second, but people need to believe that I regret it. Never. When I have to disclose my trans status in medical or legal settings, people feel almost disappointed because they are eager to hear that I have regretted it. I haven't. It was not a choice for me.
Living as a woman brings me an immense sense of joy. It feels so natural. It doesn't feel forced or enacted because I have always been exceptionally feminine in my mannerism, tastes, proclivities (except that I swear like a sailor when I am angry and I have had to fight brutally to survive).
I have always been attracted exclusively to straight men. I lived as a gay guy for a couple of years when I was a teen, and it was a complete disaster. It was not my identity. I did not like men who liked me as a man. I was too feminine to have a gay identity. And I simply could not be intimate with a guy who wanted me as a guy. I just couldn't. Of course, I have nothing against gay men and some of my best friends are gay, but that is NOT who I am. I am not gay, and I have never been gay. Why the fuck do people confuse trans women with gay men? I had the world against me but I survived and now I am stronger than ever. I am not gonna lie, what I had to endure has left some indelible emotional scars.
I hope this message gives some encouragement to people like me. My transition has been far from easy. I had to endure a lot of trauma, I had to fight mercilessly for my survival, but I celebrated just the other day my 10-year anniversary after my SRS. I couldn't live as a gay man because gay men like MEN fully equipped with male genitalia.
Most of you will disagree with me and try to demonize me, but I have gone stealth. There was no other option for me. There was a phase in my life when I was out and proud and, despite being post-op, cis people tried to convince me to date gay guys who were top. Fuck that shit. Do you realize how insulting and fucked up that is? Gay men have never been attracted to me. So, I decided to go stealth. Remember that to go stealth you do not have to pass 100%. You need to pass 80% (arbitrary number). You need to pass well enough to maintain a degree of plausible deniability. If you do not want to be stealth, more power to you. But if your desire is to go stealth, I totally support you. I have gone stealth because I am fucking tired of all the stigma, the explanations, the intrusive questions, the unsolicited advice of cis people. Doesn't matter how convincing I look as a woman, I remember cis people trying to tell me to date top gay guys. They just don't get it and I am done explaining. I am tired of that.

I adopted a rescue dog named Molly on may 17 about 10 days ago. She is the sweetest dog I have ever been around and she has also given me another great sense of purpose. I love being around her and feeling her love and feeling the responsibility of loving her.
Personally I can be a bit of a degenerate to myself with drinking and Molly has honestly done a great job at stopping that because I used to say whatever if it was late nights and late getups in the morning but now having Molly around and knowing her bathroom schedule I don’t put her through the late nights and late mornings. She has really ridden the slow creeping of depression, if you know the feeling I do, it has a slow building feeling until eventually you become very sad. I have not had an ounce of that feeling since adopting Molly! Just love this girl, sorry very long post but wanted to try and explain my love/situation with her! :)

Today is my 18th day I am on 10 mg. I took my trintellix at 10:00 AM, felt great until around 3 PM... I was at the mall and started getting existential thoughts that induced me to DPDR symptoms and of course some moderate anxiety... everything around me felt weird and started questioning existence...It also happened a bit during my walk at 7pm...This feeling of unrealness that comes and goes...
Thankfuly the anxiety has been under control today, since it's been moderate.

Has anyone else experienced this? I know I'm early still and just getting through my 3rd week, but this feeling can be very overwhelming and distressing... That's the reason why I'm giving Trintellix a shot in the first place... Been experiencing DPDR symptoms and anxiety/pannic attacks since Jan 29, 2023.

So we all see the post like “I’m 24 and about to finish college” or “what’s my next step?” Type question. I thought it would be beneficial and maybe enlightening to share some of our backgrounds for the newbies. I’ll start:
I worked at a retail company for about 10 years. Did everything, sales, service, customer service etc. and one day I was asked to join logistics. I had no clue. We ran a fleet of 15 class B trucks, two big rigs and two warehouses. After a couple of years I discovered I was part of the supply chain. So I started researching different topics and 8 years in I decided to get APICS certified in CLTD.
Next step was shift manager for a large fitness equipment manufacturer, 600K sq Ft warehouse with 100 dock doors. What an experience! Leaned a lot about containers, drayage, and full truck loads, TMS etc.
Now I am Director of Materials for a small energy services company and most of my time is spent making sure we never run out of materials for our crews. My time is about 80 % more inventory management. It’s quite challenging and fulfilling.

Hello I will be running a HC rogue at launch I am looking for 1 or 2 players to join me. Specifically a barbarian and/or Druid. I don’t want a full party because at that point I think my gameplay won’t have enough impact to be as fun. My logic with the party is that my rogue early game will be able to carry barb/Druid through their early game struggles and likewise their buffs will help rogue survivability at later levels. I’m fine with duo or trio. Seriousness levels are 7-8/10. I’m on severance so I have lots of time. I’ll prob be dropping 12 hour days at least first couple of days. Smart competent stoner gamers please. I’ll be blazing entire time but that doesn’t mean I go brain dead mode it legit helps me focus for many hours. 21+ just for maturity and such. Efficiency will be like 7-8/10 as well (meaning skip irrelevant content most the time) I’m down to watch cut scenes or skip. The main goal is fun - the race adds to the fun by adding competition.

I've always been shy and frustrated about my social life but I decided to ignore it and accept my situation. I thought that things were gonna be better during college but I missed out of oportunities because I didn't socialized enough. A couple of months back I ran into a Ted talk from Andrew Elsass that talks about his challenge and his take aways (his original post explaining his challenge was actually published here 9 years ago) and got interested by the project. After going through a depression I decided to try the challenge hoping to get better, honestly it is really improving my mood, I could even say that my depression is gone. I've been doing the challenge for 15 days now and talked to 101 strangers, and it's changing my life: i'm not scared to talk to strangers anymore, whenever I have to say something I can say it, now I enjoy attention, I talk easier to people that I know, my social anxiety is disappearing and i'm learning to have deeper and more spontaneous conversations.
I started the challenge with a friend. We meet every day at the same time, and we split for an hour to talk to people. We meet at the end to do a debriefig. It helps me a lot with perseverance. In my data sheet I'm only counting the conversations I had during that hour.
From the 101 conversations I've had, only 10 of them were good quality exchanges.

Hello everyone,
I’m a 34 year old man who was married to who I thought was the love of my life. I met her when I was only 15 years old and we quickly became best friends and eventually dated in our later teen years then married in our early twenties. I was married to her for 13 years and we have two wonderful children together. I feel like a rug was pulled out from under me. She was a school teacher and I worked in a factory doing quality control, we owned a small business together and even owned two homes at one point in hope to rent it out. Our lives seemed great, it definitely had it’s struggles but we had each other and our children.
My son who is now 12 is a blessing and I couldn’t be more proud of him. He enriched my life in so many ways and only a few years later we were happy to find out that we were having another baby. A girl who we were over the moon about but sadly we lost her. It was a extremely low point in my life and still brings me to tears this day. My wife and my son helped me through it and I did everything to help my wife with our loss. She started to feel extreme depression and refused therapy or any other help.
Things seems to get better when we found out that we were having another baby, it was going to be a girl. It obviously didn’t fix the situation or fully heal our hearts over the loss of our lost daughter but it filled us with joy, joy that was much needed in both our lives. So 9 years ago we were blessed with our beautiful little girl who brings us all so much joy.
My wife seemingly started to feel happy again and life started improving. I had to drop out of school so my wife could keep going and also take care of them kids and I worked full time and a few side jobs. It was a worthy sacrifice at the time. She was working on her degree and eventually got her masters with a 4.0. Once she had secured a good paying job I would be allowed to go back to school myself. Years passed and I was able to buy my local comic book store to keep it from closing and it was a dream of our to own our own business.
We eventually grew the store and moved up in our main jobs, her a high school teacher and me a factory worker who got a inspection job that had better pay and hours. Life was seemingly on the up. We bought our second home in what was considered the nicest/safest neighborhood in our city. I only wanted the best for our kids and hopefully to have more.
I found myself working my 7am to 3pm job then my comic shop in the afternoons, 3:15 to about 6pm. I would arrive home and spend the afternoon with my wife and kids. Life was good but I was working all the time, even the weekends. My dream became a nightmare.
Late 2019 we discovered that we were having a baby, it was a boy. My heart was filled with joy except for my wife. It seemed like the depression was returning and stronger than ever. The news of our son brought her into fits or rage and crying spells, I tried to be supportive and understanding but I was at a loss of how to help. Sadly we lost my son, I found myself devastated and alone. My wife was relieved over the loss and I didn’t know how to handle it. I was alone this time and trying my hardest to be supportive but it was difficult. I needed her but the loss was viewed so differently by her.
Later in March of 2020 my so was diagnosed with type one diabetes, it was a hard pill to swallow. Major life changes for a 10 year old. I was trying to sell my shop to be home and support him. Oddly my wife was against it and insisted on me continuing to run the shop.
I started to notice she would leave the home for a few hours after I arrived. It seemed normal to me. She definitely needed her time to unwind and be alone. I just wanted to support her and let her have her space.
Eventually her trips to get milk would last 4 or more hours and sometimes she would come home empty handed. I was growing concerned. Everything seemed somewhat normal except she refused to take our daughter out on Sunday shopping trips anymore. My daughter was confused why it stopped, they had had “girl dates” all of her life but now without warning it was over.
Fights eventually started and sex almost completely stopped. I signed us up for marriage counseling. She agreed to go but never participated in any of the activities for us to work on at home. She became more and more distant and colder to everyone.
On August 1st 2022 my daughter was diagnosed as well with type one diabetes. I was devastated but had to be strong for her. On the 3rd of August 2022 my wife was caught with one of her students. My world was turned upside down.
It’s been almost a year now, somedays I don’t want to get out of bed, but I keep moving for the children. My soon to be ex wife lives with her parents now, I only see my kids half as much as I did. It’s hard to be alone. The house was so full of sound and kids laughing and now it’s quite most days.
My wife is facing criminal charges and my children’s lives have been ruined by this. I don’t know what to do most days. I don’t know who to talk to. Life is hard, it’s only going to get harder from here.

   3. Review: The supreme taquito spot on Olivera street downtown will make you forget your anywhere near downtown. The taquitos were a perfect blend of a softness to crunch, that only a deep fried tortilla can provide, but the real take away should be that the famous sauce. I was upset I didn't grab a spoon, as the fork took too many scoops to get my fill of the sauce after the taquitos were demolished.

   5. Review: Holbox is a Michelin recommended in the Mercado La Paloma just south of the 10/110 interchange that should be visited as soon as possible. The Rockfish taco will be remembered as my favorite fish tacos I have ever had the pleasure to eat (so far). The Scallop and the Octopus tacos were so much fun, a perfect blend of exciting proteins, bright flavors and accessibility. Holbox is a star, and I can’t wait to bring my girl here, she will love it.

   3. Review: This dispensary grows some of the best weed in Los Angeles. A friend recently introduced me to their product, and ever since I have been ringing it's praise to anyone who will listen. Get a Cup of Ganja of whatever strain suits your fancy or the budtender recommends, and soon you’ll be enjoying a clean, clear high fitting for any occasion.

   3. Review: This spot was visited by Bourdain with his Parts Unknown series, and I am grateful he showed the world this palace. The unbelievably good Al Pastor taco a la plancha that will change your life for the better or worse, it's impossible to say. If pork doesn't tickle your taste buds don’t fret, they have you covered with a carne asada that will exceed any expectations you have. I was trying to explain LA taco culture to my midwest mother, looking back I should have saved my breath and taken her to Tacos Indiana.

   3. Review: Tacos La Güera commands your attention when you walk up. From the trumpo topped with a roasting pineapple to the carnitas cooking over the open flame to the splendid spread of salsa, your attention never stood a chance. The Al Pastor has smokiness that reminds you of the first time you had real good BBQ, and the Carnitas could not have been a better contrast with a butter melt in your mouth only a seasoned veteran can master.

   3. Review: On our way back, my co-pilot and I wanted to do an experiment. The experiment was to stop at an unresearched taco vendor, and see if it pays to step off the beaten path. The parameters were 1. On the way to Koreatown 2. Have a trumpo 3. Have at least three patrons eating there. We found our subject across from Langer’s Deli in one of the more intimidating neighborhoods in LA, and my nerves peaked when I saw store bought tortillas. As soon as order was placed, those tortillas were dipped into a bubblin cauldron of carnitas, and slapped on the flat iron and then topped with absolutely lovely seasoned pork. We both concluded that, yes you should go somewhere without a name, in a place where you aren't comfortable and see if they can make your day better with some food that neighbors share on street corners.

Am I just being regarded tonight? Does everyone know this already? I forget if this was brought up in heat lamp theory.
When Pulte was having trouble DRSing a few weeks ago I tried helping him out by selling 10 @ $35 to see if it might get processed. Apes helping apes.
The order expired end of day but when I logged in a few days later I saw 10 shares were moved from book or “class A shares” I thought it said, to plan shares.
It makes sense because there’s no notion of a broker or nominee with pure DRS book shares. So they moved them to the brokered plan account in case the order executed.
I keep up with this sub on the reg, so it’s weird I was surprised by seeing this. Anyone else seen this before?

My wife and are I hoping to plan a trip to Europe sometime next year for 10-14 days. Curious if anyone has any unique insights or tips into hosting while traveling abroad? The time difference will be about 8-9 hours ahead of where our rentals are. Trying to decide between training and paying a friend to be the host while I travel, shutting down my rentals during this time completely so I don't have to worry about it, or continue hosting while traveling and hope it goes smoothly. I will have access to my phone while traveling so in theory I could do the hosting while abroad. The biggest hang up would be the time change obviously. Appreciate any feedback and/or insights to those who have done this!
