I am talking about 2021, I always remember how beautiful those days were, my friends, our old house, I, I wish to go back that night when it rained and my friends and I slept on the ground because of fatigue, I used to leave the house at 4 in the afternoon and enter the house at 2 in the morning, I used to go With my friends, we go to eat in the restaurant near our house, then we wear skateboards, play and wander everywhere, nothing else is louder than the sound of music and the sound of our laughter, I remember my old school and how my personality was, my only friend I always drew during class time and I had imaginary friends that I used to be I come back from school and go to sleep and go out to enjoy our time with my friends as usual, and then I wake up in the morning, read my homework and go to school. I really wish I could go back!! Now my friends are not here, I moved from our old house, I threw the skate roll, I lost contact with my friends, I moved to a second school .. Really, all I can imagine is that another child's toys in my closet collapsed! I want to see that abandoned car parked in the corner of the branch, and I want to see that tree that we always thought was damned because it had little red dots on it, I want to go to that terrifying branch that my mother used to scold me for, and I want to want the kitchen of our house, my old room, The house is filled with the sound of the echo of strangers now, perhaps they have changed the furniture and painted the walls.., a step outside the threshold of the door, I realize then that it is not our home anymore..

THIS IS A TRUE RANT I’ll start from the beginning so bare with me. I’m all over the place, so if this doesn’t belong here, I understand. For starters, I just moved to the West Coast (Mountains) from after Living on the East Coast my entire Life (35 1//2 Years). I’ve been here for 9 Months now. For me, it’s a nice place to visit, but not Live, especially given my current Environment and Situation…. I don’t know where I’m Living, to be Honest. I moved in with my Dad (He has always been my main Trigger and surprise, surprise, nothing changed). Inflation got the best of me. I met a really nice guy and spent the Night two times and now, I’m not allowed to Live where I actually Reside. I Live there because my things are there, my Boyfriend and I visit once a Week, but I Live with my Boyfriend of only 4 Months (and his Roommate. My Boyfriend just got a House which I’m not ready for and “I’m not allowed Home” and is currently working on that which makes ED so much more Interesting.) I just lost my Best Friend and Emotional Support Animal of 17 Years. I lost my Job while “Living” at my Boyfriend’s House. My Parents are Divorced. My Mum is up the wall about this and can’t do anything about it because she’s East and I didn’t stay with her because my Step Dad is jealous of me. I recently had a Friend tell me that he missed me and would like to get together with me and Possibly talk about me Living with him. I have to say, I think I Miss the Beach. I remember how much I couldn’t stand that place though. I also can’t stand this! Moving on…. Back in 2021, I Relapsed. I was Living by Myself. That made it so much easier and way worse. I had a Job I thought I had Insurance with because it became out of Control. I thought wrong. So I pushed through to the best of my ability. May of 2022, I had a Slip-Up, but not too bad. January of this Year 2023, after my Emotional Support Dog passed, I Relapsed again. Horribly. My Epilepsy became 10x’s worse. I lost my Job due to Mental Illness. I just told my Boyfriend that I’m Relapsing again. I swear, every Relapse is worse. Since I no longer had a Job, I needed Insurance. I just got under Insurance and I was so Hopeful that this Insurance covered a Treatment Center…. It did! Woo Hoo!!!! But only if I met a Deductible or pay $3,000 out of Pocket. The Job I got let go from, I met the Deductible already. And to top it off, my Boyfriend didn’t know what an Eating Disorder was or Relapse was or any of these Terms so I had to explain. ) He’s Book Smart and I’m Street Smart! LoL!!!!) He then told me, “Well, just stop.” “Only You can make it better.” Like some sort of Wild Fire. I currently have the opportunity to go back East, and how much it would be nice! This was supposed to be a new Book for me. I screwed up everything. EVERYONE tells me ALL the time EXCEPT for my Mum and closest Brother, You can do this on your own! You don’t need IP. You don’t need Doctors. You know how to do everything already! Exactly! I know how to Starve! I know how to Advocate. I don’t remember how to though. My Mum and Brother are the People closest to me in my Life and have gone through Mental Struggles themselves. Not saying my Dad hasn’t. He’s a Pathological Liar, didn’t want Kids, and wasn’t in the Room when I was Born nor was he around. He admits that like he’s Proud of it. My Dietician was excited because all she knows how to do is to Treat the Body, not Mentality. And now, I have to tell her that I’m Relapsing. I’m Honestly beginning to Believe that maybe I’m not meant for Recovery. I am SO sorry this is so long. I am long Winded this Morning and realized that this took 2 Hours to perfect. I’m realizing that I’m Living with 2 Boys I don’t know, 1 Father I’m desperately trying to have in my Life, Forever Recovery Vs a Relapse, and terribly Missing my Mum. Whoever read this Post to the end, Thank-You. It really means a lot.

I'm a teenager from London, but was never a racist until 2021 and now It's gotten worse.
This has all started as being the only person of colour in my friendship group and being the "token black friend" where my friends regularly say how they view me as an exception (largely due to my RP accent, the way i conduct myself, vocabulary and overall attitude). All my life i've been called a "coconut" or an "uncle tom" and that i'm "not black enough" which has made me feel distant from people of my race for the way I speak, dress and act which could be seen as snobby or posh. My friends have perpetuated these views and how I'm "more like one of them."
To restate I am not white, but have developed some white-supremacist, anti-migrant and xenophobic beliefs. As of recent, I have been carrying disdain and prejudgements of people purely based on race, I've seen those of my own race with white women in public and my mind has immediately assumed the man is abusing her in more ways than one. I have preferred to surround myself with white friends from the british isles, (however, I have some disdain against eastern europeans who I see as "different"). Not to mention, my prejudice against those not from here. This has been perpetuated by friends and British politicians such as the past 2 home secretaries' views and treatment of coming here those "illegally", which I have supported. This has caused me to have 0 empathy (Which I have never really given in the first place) to refugees and asylum seekers.
It's gotten so ingrained in my subconscious it's second nature and my mind immediately jumps to it when seeing someone who isn't white. Mostly I'll end up assuming someone does not know english merely based on skin-tone and having a different nationality.
This hasn't been helped by portrayals of non-whites in the media as violent, vulgar, abusive and criminal especially in UK Drill music.
I am scared I might commit a violent crime as I have had thoughts of doing horrendous things to people who do not fit the bill of a "british person", even to the point a friend made a joke talking about how immigrants being rounded up and persecuted which at the time made us all laugh but on reflection disturbed me. I have had a problem with sadism for my entire life and have enjoyed the thought of causing pain to those groups I dislike.
How can I stop myself from thinking this way?

Spoiler tagged this post in case there are people who are not aware, but in the original, Aeris is killed by Sephiroth mid-game.
I'll quickly outline WHY it was so important in the original game, and then why I think Square will find a way to not do it-- well, sort of (more on that later).

Impact in-game and in the industry

• Aeris's death signifies a dramatic midpoint of the game, showing the stakes and that no one -- even the main cast of characters-- was "safe." That includes the playable love interest of the main character. It raised the tensions and introduced personal stakes to the game at a moment when it appeared the characters were well on their way to saving the world.
• Aeris' depth gave VII a level of emotional depth and narrative sophistication that was unusual for video games at the time. Quick note here that Sakaguchi didn't write this right after his mother had passed (she did 10 years before), but that doesn't mean that the writing here didn't take a major chance by making the characters (and players) ruminate on death.
  • Quick note, but I don't think Tellah in FFIV nor Leo in FFVI come close in terms of narrative impact, nor the level of connection that the player and the main protagonist that Aeris did.
• It's final. Aeris exists in spirit in the lifestream way that is established in-narrative, but there is no ability to resurrect her like Tidus in FFX-2. It's final. It's death. As Cloud says "Aeris is gone. Aeris will no longer talk, no longer laugh, cry... or get angry."
• In-game, Aeris is the last of the Cetra and her death signifies the end of this lineage and the possible loss of the ability to fully communicate with and understand the Planet.

What I think Square will do and why I think they'll undercut the impact of this scene

• Aeris will likely die in one dimension and live in the other. That allows Square to stay faithful to the story, while pulling a Marvel multiverse "Ah, but this is a DIFFERENT Gamora/Vision/Thanos!" plot of keeping her alive.
  • The gist of the sequel/remake is that it's Sephiroth (and the protagonists by proxy) getting a do-over. They can all rewrite history, while the spooky dementors don't like all this chicanery and fight to keep it the way it is... and that includes Aeris' death.
  • There are two dimenstions, one in which Zack lives, and one in which he doesn't. Similarly, this might be true of Biggs and possibly even Jessie. This will be their keep-Aeris-alive card.
• The game has already shown a willingness to soften events of the original, including the plate falling. In the original, it is brutal and most people below (including, definitively Jessie, Biggs and Wedge) are dead. In the remake, you participate in the successful evacuation of the residents and it's... a bit much. Everyone seems to have a pretty long time to get out, even if accounting for goofy videogame time logic.

I could be wrong

Hot take, but they may try to subvert expectations by having Tifa fulfill this role, which would... uh... be a choice, but regardless I think the outcome is that they want to create a game in which they simultaneously reenact the events of FFVII while also watering down their impact.
Full disclosure, I am not Nomura, so I don't know for certain, but the trend that was shown in FFVII demonstrates that there is a very good chance they are going to pull a Zack/Wedge/Jessie(?) on Aeris as well. I don't wish her death, but it's sad anyway to see something so gutsy made by the team in 1997 walked back and to rob the moment of a lot of its narrative potency.

Over the next year, Yash applied skin whitening cream everyday. As his skin grew unnaturally lighter, Yash felt his social status improve and felt a deeper connection to the fair skinned deities blanketing his walls.

I’m a little anxious. I wouldn’t mind rebuilding our friendship because she meant a lot to me, but am ok if we are never friends again because what she did was so insensitive.

How do you respond in love to people who super clearly need help because of the way they're trolling, and how do you know if they are really trolling or not? My go-to is to pray for the person but how do you untangle yourself from a conversation where someone is forcing you to defend everything you say? Plus to clarify I haven't said anything negative to this person, even though they're repeatedly berating myself and others, I'm about to block the person but obviously they need help and prayer.

This is something that I've always wished Zelda games would do - they generally have amazing and memorable supporting casts, but at the same time, they're always relegated to an area or specific part of the story, and then stay the rest of it on the sidelines, kinda cheering Link like "Yea, go get Ganondorf champ, we believe in you!", or they pop in for some symbolic act in the endgame (like the sages in OoT trapping Ganon, after you got all the action for yourself). We had some steps in the right direction with games like Wind Waker, with the dungeons that we go through with Medli/Makar, and BotW, where the champions have this presence that directly influences the final battle. But they still felt like it wasn't enough.
So, first and foremost, I was really happy to realize that the sages would work with you throughout dungeons. Huge moment for Zelda imo. But what really took me by surprise was how they didn't take a backseat after that, and continued to show up when it most mattered - not only they come in clutch to protect Link from Phantom Ganon's suicide attack, but they show up for the final battle (in what might be one of the hypest cutscenes in Zelda history) against Ganon's army, and are so capable that they fell the bosses from their respective dungeons, and managed to pop in to help you fight against freaking Ganondorf as well.
I mean, heck, talk about an upgrade. I know people have mixed feelings on the companion system, but at least when it comes to a supporting cast that matters, I really hope the Zelda team follow the example they set here in TotK (and to a lesser extent, BotW, considering they all got introduced there as well), Zelda is an adventure that's you and Link going against the world, but it doesn't always have to be lonely.

Ok, here goes nothing.
I've had an on again off again girlfriend for going on about 3 years now. To be blunt, it is not a happy healthy relationship. When we started dating, I don't believe she had a drug problem. If so, it was at the time recreational pill use. Since then, it has morphed into a full blown fentanyl addiction.
Just for some context. I'm 100% sober work a steady job and stay out of trouble. I'm throw and throw a straight shooter.
I guess I'll just lay out the facts.
•As stated above, we have been on again off again for about 3 years.
• I discovered drug paraphernalia in my apartment late October of of 2021
• upon discovering that she was smoking fentanyl. I kicked her out of the apartment.
• a few weeks later she came to me asking for help.
• Her step mom and I together managed to get her into a clinic and got her to start taking suboxone.
• She stayed sober on the suboxone for about 10 months (September 2022 ish)
• She relapsed and and got fired from her job.
• Sometime in December 2022 after months of me trying to get her to go back onto suboxone, I kicked her out again telling her to contact me when she's ready for help.
• late February 2023 she called me telling me she was ready for help. • I tried for 3 days to get her into a detox facility. This proved to be nearly an impossible task in WA as all the beds were full. • after 3 days of not being able to find a bed and her withdrawals, I brought her to the ER to see if they would give her anti withdrawal meds. • They tested her urine and blood at the ER and tested positive on a pregnancy test.
• She says the baby is mine.
• I did eventually get her into a detox facility but she left AMA.
• One again I kicked her out after not making any attempt to get sober.
• In the time that we found out that she was pregnant until now. She has not seen a doctor, gone to an OB or even got an ultrasound. • I have no clue how far along she is but my best guess is 8 months.
• I have called the police on her twice for using and being pregnant. On both occasions the police treated it as a domestic argument, told me it's a civil matter and didn't do anything.
• I have reported her to CPS. CPS took a report to keep on file but basically told me thay can't get involved until the baby is born.
• She has no job and no money. I can only suspect that she is prostituting to support her fentanyl addiction.
• Not knowing if the child is mine or not and foreseeing a potential custody battle, I've hired a PI to gather dirt. •At this point in time the PI has very little but is working on it. • They do have a video of her meeting with a pimp/dealer? • They are having text exchanges between them and her where she it talking about looking for drugs.
•I have contacted a family attorney. But she said her plate is full and cannot take on another case. She did however suggest getting legal assistance.
• I contacted another attorney on Thursday, didn't hear anything back on Friday and now it's a weekend.
I'm not sure how I should proceed. The PI definitely also suspects her of prostitution. They just need to gather more evidence at this time. The PI also think they can pull strings and have her arrested on some BS change to have her on a hold for a day or two.
I have asked the PI to hold off on having her locked up for now, until I can obtain legal representation. Hoping I can get a cort order paternity test or whatever else I can do.
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I posted here 5 years ago sharing what I was doing to save money and sharing an apartment with a few other folks. So I wanted to share an update.
- My income has gone up a lot: 5 yrs ago I was making 14 / hour. Today I make $85 / hour (176k per year) and my wife makes $52k (total of 228k annual income)
- We bought a house in a nice neighborhood. $400k mortgage at 3.25%. $25k down payment We've been hear a year and a half.
- We still have student loan debt, but we should have it paid of by end of next year
- We have no other debt at all.
- We've put about 60k in investments and 20k in an emergency HYSA at 4% current interest rate. We keep 5k in an easy access checking account month over month. Any excess savings goes to retirement and long term investments
- We are currently on track to save $50k this year for retirement and investments.
- Wife and I are celebrating our 5 yr anniversary this September!

Okay, so let's talk our overall strategy and how we got here:
2018

1. We got married as planned
2. We saved every penny we could for some unknown future date when we wanted to buy a home.
3. We continued to have room mates
4. I busted my ass at work trying to be a stand-out employee. Made sure my reports were always top notch, etc. Took initiative on projects and things like that. Was making 14 per hour

2019

1. Wife and I completed our degrees.
2. Student loan debt $50k (wife + me)
3. I continued to work hard and ended up part of a semi-layoff situation. Except out of 14 people, they only kept me -- then promoted me to a better role. New salary $50k per year. Double my previous income.
4. Wife's income was around $35k
5. Mostly eating cheap but healthy meals. Not dining out except for special occasions (bday, etc)
6. Wife laid off end of year. (darn!)

2020

1. Got a new certification and they promoted me again, up to $75k per year.
2. Wife gets new job early in year: income is climbing: $40k
3. Continued to work hard and make myself "known" around the office. Stressful but I was seeing it pay off more and more.
4. Student loan debt $50k (wife + me) -- went into deferment due to COVID. Keeping any payment money for savings.
5. Went fully work from home due to COVID
6. Moved across the country due to WFH status. Went to a lower cost of living area and out of Florida where I was living. Thank goodness we did that looking at the current political climate. Our reasons were that it was too hot, too financially risky with the hurricanes, etc. ALSO -- the jobs there were shitty at best. Loads of hospitality jobs, few tech jobs that paid well IMO.
7. Paid off my car. Paid off wife's car. This felt good.

2021

1. Happily living in new city without as much of a threat of tropical storms as FL had.
2. Student loan debt $50k (wife + me) Still deferred. Keeping any payment money for savings.
3. Promoted to department head company grows: New salary is $110k
4. Wife's salary is now 45k
5. We can afford a house and the rates are low. We put in a deposit for a new construction.
6. I got lucky and my company had a stock market boost. I sold all my shares (I had a stock program with the company as part of my compensation) and turned 30k. Fortunately I did this when I did because
7. We close on house EOY and move in. Now we have a mostly fixed housing cost. No more rent hikes!

2022

1. Student loan debt $50k (wife + me) Still deferred.
2. Laid off (Tech work, yeah). Shit. No problem. 2.5 months unemployed and I land a new job. New salary: 135k. That's a nice pay bump.
3. Wife gets a promotion. New salary: 50k. Woo! Things are looking good.
4. Doing my best at work to prove myself. Getting good performance reviews.
5. Saving Saving Saving.

2023

1. Student loan debt $40k doesn't look like Biden's plan to get rid of this is happening. Made 10k in payments so far.
2. Laid off early 2023 (not again! stupid tech layoffs!). Within a week of being laid off, I got another cert. Great time to study when all you have is time!
3. Landed a new job from that cert! Within a week of getting it (2 weeks since layoff) a new job was lined up and secured. New salary: $175k fuck yeah.
4. Wife's salary is now: $52k She's currently capped except for annual raises :(

I attribute some of this to luck, but my wife and I also worked really hard for these last years. And the grind at work hasn't stopped for me. I still am working to keep myself growing, though I enjoy what I do and am settling into a nice career.
Don't give up. Set goals that are reasonable. Don't get discouraged. Wife and I went through 3 layoffs and we still came out ahead. Take the time when you have it to make yourself better.

"Nyeh...m-monster hunting?!" Himiko exclaimed. "Why is that our problem?!" She and Kokichi were sneaking around the house. Kokichi was brandishing the butterfly net and tiptoeing like a weirdo.

"Because...we created monster Maga-Z, so we have to stop him!" Kokichi whispered and put his finger to his lips. "Now, ssshhhhhh!!!" He snuck up to a corner and peeked into the boys' hallway. "A-HA!! I GOTCHA!!!" he yelled and jumped from the corner, swinging the butterfly net over his victim.

"AAAUUGGHHH....KOKICHI!!!" Kaito screamed angrily as he wriggled inside the net.

"Nee-heehee...oopsies! My bad!" Kokichi laughed cheekily.
​
"Get me outta this net right now, Kokichi!" Kaito growled.
​
"Okay, okay...dang! Someone got up on the wrong side of the galaxy this morning," Kokichi muttered, pulling the net off of Kaito.
​
"I'm gonna send your ass to another galaxy!" Kaito yelled. "What are you two even doing?"
​
"What Himiko and I do on our Saturday mornings is our business!" Kokichi huffed. "Right, Himiko?"
​
"Yeah...you're better off not knowing, Kaito," Himiko said. "You should keep your sanity while you still have it."
​
"Tuh...you don't hafta tell me twice," Kaito muttered. "Well, fine. You guys do whatever you want. Just don't cause trouble for everyone else."
​
"Whatever, dad," Kokichi replied with a bratty grin. Kaito rolled his eyes and stomped off. Kokichi turned to Himiko. "Way to go, Monkey Buns!" he said, giving Himiko a hug.
​
"Nyeh...thanks," Himiko replied with a shy smile. "But why are we looking for Maga-Z here? Shouldn't he be in 7th Island House?"
​
"Just makin' sure," Kokichi replied. "After all, this is where Maga-Z became a monster. What if he came back for...reveeenge? "
​
"If that was the case, he would have come here already," Himiko replied.
​
"Yeah, you're probably right!" Kokichi said. "C'mon, let's go to 7th Island House!" They went outside, where Kokichi paused to look down.

"What's the matter?" Himiko asked as Kokichi knelt to the ground.
​
"Footprints!" Kokichi exclaimed excitedly. "And noooot just any footprints! These look like...monster hamster footprints! Here, look!" Himiko bent down to take a closer look. There, in the grass, were large footprints. "It looks like they're going away from the dorms and towards the city, or something!"
​
"Nyeh...and it looks like they're getting b-b-bigger," Himiko stammered in fear. They followed the footprints a few more feet down the street. Kokichi could see that Himiko had spoken the truth. As the footprints went on, it seemed as if they were growing in size.
​
"Whooaaa...you're right, Himiko!" Kokichi said with a large grin. "That's sooo weird!"
​
"Um...Kokichi?" Himiko mumbled in fear, tugging his sleeve. Kokichi looked up at her.
​
"Hm? What's wrong?" he asked. Himiko pointed down the road towards the city. Coming from the city was a stampede of people screaming in fear and panic. Kokichi grabbed Himiko's hand and pulled her out of the way just as the crowd rushed by. "Hey, what's-" Kokichi asked as someone ran past. "Why are...who is..." He tried to stop someone to ask what was going on, but nobody would stop. Frustrated, he stuck his foot out, tripping a man. Kokichi knelt down to him. "Hey, what's going on?" he asked.

"RUN!! RUN!!! THERE'S A FREAKISHLY LARGE RODENT THING ATTACKING THE CITY!!!" the man screamed, getting up. "RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!" Kokichi and Himiko watched him as he ran down the road with the others.
​
"F-F-Freakishly...large...rodent?" Himiko stammered fearfully.

"Yup...like that one," Kokichi mumbled quietly, pointing towards the city. They heard a tremendous roaring as they witnessed the enormous horrifying sight of Maga-Z climbing to the top of a tall building. He looked far different than his normal hamster self; his fur was jagged, his teeth were sharper and glinting in the sunlight, his eyes were red, and his paws had massive claws at the end of them. The only recognizable thing about him was his chipped ear. Kokichi and Himiko merely stared in shock, their mouths agape.
​
"You two!" came Gundham's voice from behind them. They turned around to face him. "I still have not located Maga-Z! If he is gone forever, I will cast you into the pits of-"
​
"Yeah, ya might wanna be quiet a bit and take a look at that!" Kokichi interrupted, gesturing over towards the city with his thumb. Gundham stared in disbelief and bewilderment as he looked at his hamster causing destruction on the city below him.
​
"It...It cannot be!" he breathed. "That cannot be Maga-Z!"
​
"Sure it is! He's got the chipped ear thingy," Kokichi replied. Gundham glared daggers at Kokichi.
​
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!" he yelled furiously.
​
"Well...I guess I made him into an actual Deva of Destruction," Kokichi said with a sheepish shrug. "Isn't that what you wanted?"

"IMBECILE!!" Gundham roared. He swung his fist at Kokichi, but Kokichi ducked in time. Himiko hid behind Kokichi in fear, gripping his shoulders firmly.
​
"Hey, heeeey, I know it looks bad, but I'm sure Himiko and I can fix him," Kokichi said.
​
"Never again are you to go anywhere near Maga-Z, or any of the other Dark Devas of Destruction for as long as you live!" Gundham growled.
​
"Well, okay, how are you going to correct the problem, then? By calling the Powerpuff Girls?" Kokichi asked.
​
"That is none of your concern," Gundham replied, glaring at Kokichi. "He is one of my Dark Devas. I will simply talk to him."
​
"Yeah, that's gonna work," Kokichi replied sarcastically.
​
"It does not matter what you say," Gundham said. "You are merely an impudent, careless charlatan with no regard for the well-being of others. How you always even have Himiko by your side, I will never know. I am surprised she is even still alive." With that, he ran off towards the city, hoping to appease his hamster.
​
"Well...what do we do, now?" Himiko asked Kokichi. But he didn't answer. He merely stood there with his arms crossed and eyebrows knitted. "Nyeh...Kokichi?" Himiko asked in a small voice.
​
"Do you...agree with him?" Kokichi asked quietly.
​
"Nyeh? W-What do you mean?"
​
"N-No...it's nothing," Kokichi replied, shaking his head. He started to walk off, but Himiko grabbed his arm.
​
"Agree with him about what, Kokichi?" Himiko pressed. Kokichi looked at her. "Is something bothering you? If there is, we promised that we would talk about whatever is bothering us, remember?" Kokichi sighed heavily.
​
"Do you agree with what Gundham said right now?" he said. "That I don't have regard for other peoples' lives?" He looked at Himiko. "Are you surprised you're still alive by hanging out with me all the time?" Himiko paused to think.
​
"Mmm...even before I met you, I was always surprised to be alive," she finally said. "I...don't really know how to do a lot of things on my own. And even when I do, I'm too lazy or scared to do anything about it. But...after meeting you, I'm really happy to be alive! Each day I'm around you, my confidence grows! And...you're one of the reasons why I don't run away from my feelings, anymore!" Kokichi stared at her searchingly to see if she was lying, but he couldn't sense anything but sincerity. Himiko smiled at him. "You're always fun to be around, Kokichi! The others may not think so, but I do! And to me, that's all that really matters!" Kokichi smiled back at her in relief and happiness.

"Thanks, Himiko," he said.
​
"Nyeh...you're welcome, Panta Bear," Himiko replied, patting his hand comfortingly. Then, she gave him a brave, determined smile. "Gundham's not gonna tell us what to do! We created this mess, and we'll stop it together, right? So...how are we gonna stop that hamster?" Kokichi smiled as he felt his determination increase, as well. He began pacing back and forth in thought.

"Alright, HimiCocoa Bean," he said thoughtfully. "We can't shrink him using the same method we used to revive him. He's way too big for that! And if science can't help us..." he paused to smile at Himiko. "...maybe your magic can? After all, you did say that you can't bring the dead back to life, buuut, you didn't say anything about not being able to cure a humongous hamster on the rampage!" Himiko pursed her lips in thought. Then, she smiled.

"You're right," she said. "Let's see what I can do!" Smiling, she and Kokichi ran hand in hand over to her secret magic room to find a solution.

2021-01-15
In March 2015, we three sisters got together again as usual. However, that day was different from the usual talk and laughter. In a serious tone, my younger sister said, "The husband of the third elder sister seems to be getting progressively sicker." The second elder sister responded, "Study Buddhism, only Guan Yin Bodhisattva can cure your husband's illness."
Yes. Since my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2000, his hands and feet were shaking, and his whole body was involuntarily twitching. Although he looked around for doctors, asked for medicine everywhere, his condition worsened day after day, year after year. I had to feed him, dress him, and help him walk, as well as go to the bathroom.
Following the guidance and persuasion of my sisters, I took faith in Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door. In addition to reading Buddhism in Plain Terms, I studied Master Lu's The First Destiny Second Luck and Third Fengshui, A Guide to Reciting Little Houses, and Introduction to the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door. I recited the Little House every day along with my daily recitation. Even though I was busy with household chores, I recited one sheet of Little House every day, and repaid all the Little Houses to my husband's karmic creditors. After 3 months, I still could not see any improvement. He still had to be fed, dressed, and supported. Due to lack of wisdom I foolishly slackened my practice, and I could only recite one sheet of Little House for 2-3 days and almost gave up practicing Buddhism.
In September 2017, I had a dream. "There are not many working blood vessels left in your husband's brain," a charitable elder kindly told me. I was awakened with a sense of urgency.
Early next morning, I told my younger sister the dream. My younger sister said, "I have just returned from the Dharma Conference, and we must follow Master Lu's teachings: chanting more Great Compassion Mantra, reciting sutras, making vows, and releasing lives. Recite the Great Compassion Mantra 49 times a day, and recite more Little Houses to pay off my brother-in-law’s debts. Let him also recite the sutra, recite Little House, make a big vow, and read the Buddhism in Plain Terms."
Soon, I had another dream. Master Lu’s Dharmakaya said to me, "Your husband's illness is very serious, so you have to recite the sutra, make a big vow, and release lives. Both you and your husband come to the Dharma Conference, and Master will definitely bless him and everything is free for you." In 2018, we were unable to attend the Dharma Conference in Singapore due to various reasons.
We were eagerly looking forward to the coming of 2019. With the financial support of my younger sister, my elder sister helped us apply for visas and buy air tickets. In October 2019, after a long bus ride of over 300 kilometers, we arrived in Malaysia by plane. The fellow practitioners took care of us all the way, and practitioners Xu, junior Zhao and my elder sister were even more considerate.
At the site of the Dharma Conference, we saw tens of thousands of Dharma practitioners under the command and arrangement of volunteer practitioners. No one was crowded and noisy. Everyone was self-aware and self-disciplined. We were very excited. There was only one voice at the Conference: I want you all to be well now! Gratitude to the Greatly Compassionate and Greatly Merciful Guan Yin Bodhisattva! Gratitude to Master Jun Hong Lu! Gratitude to fellow practitioners!
Master Lu blessed my husband and I. My body felt warm and relaxed. My husband said to himself, "I want to recite the sutra, I want to become a vegetarian, and I want to practice Citta Dharma Door following Master Lu." Ah! He made great vows at the conference！By a miracle, when he walked out of the conference hall, he pushed me and the practitioner who supported him away. He walked back to the hotel alone.
Since then, he has walked alone every day. Dharma is so incredible! Citta Dharma Door is so effective! Bodhisattva will surely bless us as long as we possess the power of vow. If people are sincere, Buddha will respond.
From the time we attended the conference to the end of the conference, in just 3 days, he dramatically changed. He seemed to be two people. In these 3 days, he got a qualitative change, a quantitative improvement, and we got the blessings of Master Lu and Guan Yin Bodhisattva. My husband was sick when he traveled abroad. After he came back he returned to normal. His hands and feet were free to move, no more shaking hands and feet, and no twitching all over. Words cannot express how excited we were. Only thanks to the Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva for rescuing and saving suffering! Gratitude to Greatly Compassionate Master Jun Hong Lu! Gratitude to Citta Dharma Door!
Now, my husband tells everyone that the Citta Dharma Door is extremely effective, Master Lu is a sage, and Master Lu is the Guan Yin Bodhisattva." He no longer needs to be supported, much less fed, and sometimes he helps me with household chores. Through his experience, he tells those who have been ill like him that with Guan Yin Bodhisattva and Master Lu, your ailments are all minor. In one year's time, he successfully transformed 8 people into practicing Citta Dharma. As part of his efforts to promote the Dharma, he also participates in outdoor activities. He strives to recite the sutras, cultivates his mind seriously, and practices sincerely.
At the beginning of this year, I had another dream: Master Lu gave my husband a prescription without words. I took the prescription to pick up the medicine and the pharmacist told me: Get home, your husband is not sick and does not need medicine. I am happy and my husband is even more excited that he is well and everything is okay. We are grateful to the selfless, altruistic and kind Master Lu! We are grateful to Guan Yin Bodhisattva for Her Great Mercy and Compassion! It is Guan Yin Bodhisattva and Master Lu who saved my husband and our family.
My husband has recited over 500 Little Houses (excluding those I recited) and released > 4,000 fish. Watching my husband get better day by day, our family is happier. Our family is forever grateful to the Master! Grateful to Bodhisattva! Citta Dharma Door is Guan Yin Bodhisattva's Dharma Door, is the Dharma Door taught by Master Lu that can cure diseases, change our destiny, save our lives, improve our quality of life, and improve our quality of existence. 2015年3月的一天，和往常一样，我们三姐妹又聚在一起了。但是这天又不同往日有说有笑，妹妹严肃地对我说：“三姐姐夫的病好像越来越重了是不。”二姐接着说：“学佛吧，现在只有观世音菩萨才能救度我们，治好你男人的病。”
是啊，自2000年我先生得了帕金森综合征以来，手抖、脚抖、全身都不由自主抽动。日复一日，年复一年，虽然四处寻医，八方问药，可先生的病越发严重。吃饭要我喂，穿衣要我帮、走路甚至上厕所都要我搀扶。
在姐妹的开导和劝说下，我开始走进了心灵法门。开始学习卢台长师父的《一命二运三风水》《小房子念诵指南》、“入门手册”，读《白话佛法》。每天做功课、念小房子。虽然家务繁忙我每天也能念诵一张小房子，并且都送给了先生的要经者。三个月过去了，可还是不见先生好转，仍然要我给他喂饭、穿衣、搀扶。因自己没有智慧，愚痴。我便松懈了学习，三天两天才能念一张小房子，差点放弃了心灵法门。
2017年9月的一天夜里我做了个梦，一个慈善的长者亲切地对我说：“你先生脑壳里的血管没有几根能用了。”我被惊醒后，顿觉情况不妙，感到事态严重。次日一大早我告诉了刚从马来西亚回国的妹妹。妹妹说：“我刚从法会现场回来，我们要按照师父的教导：狂念《大悲咒》、念经、许愿、放生。每天念《大悲咒》49遍、多念小房子还债。让姐夫也要念经、念小房子、许大愿、读《白话佛法》。”不久，我又做梦，梦中师父对我说：“你先生的病很严重，要念经许大愿、放生；你和你先生都来参加法会，师父一定给他加持、一切为你们免费。”由于种种原因，我们无缘参加2018年新加坡大法会。我们左盼右盼，到了2019年，在妹妹的资助下、姐姐帮助我们办好了签证、买好了机票。2019年10月，坐了三百多公里的长途汽车后，乘飞机到达马来西亚。一路上师兄们都很照顾我们，徐师兄、小赵师兄和我姐更是体贴入微。在法会现场，我们看到了数万名参加法会的师兄在义工师兄的指挥安排下，没有一人拥挤、没有一人喧哗。人人自觉、个个自律。我们非常激动。数万人的法会现场只有一个声音：我要你们现在就好！感恩大慈大悲观世音菩萨！感恩卢军宏台长师父！感恩师兄们！我和先生都得到了师父的加持。感到浑身发热，身心轻松。先生自语道“我要念经，我要吃素，我要跟台长师父学心灵法门。”啊！先生在法会现场发大愿了，他要紧紧跟师父学习心灵法门。吃长素、永不杀生，永不退转。奇迹发生了，当走出法会现场的时候，他推开了和我一起来搀扶他的师兄、稳稳当当走出了法会现场，回到了宾馆。第二天、第三天到法会结束，再回到家，每天都自己独立行走。佛法太不可思议了，太神奇了，心灵法门太灵验了！只要我们有愿力，菩萨一定会保佑的，人有诚心，佛有感应。
从参加法会到法会结束，短短的三天里，先生戏剧性的变化、真是判若两人。在这看似平常的三天里，我们得到了质的改变，量的提升，我们得到了师父的加持，得到了观世音菩萨的护佑。出国时病怏怏的丈夫，参加法会回来后，先生恢复正常了，手脚自如，再没有手抖、脚抖、全身都抽动了。我们激动的心情无法用言语来表述。唯有：感恩大慈大悲救苦救难观世音菩萨！感恩慈悲的卢军宏台长师父！感恩心灵法门！
现在先生逢人便说：“心灵法门真灵，台长师父真神，师父就是观世音菩萨。”我丈夫再也不用人搀扶，更不需要人喂饭了，有时还能帮助我做点家务。他以身说法，劝度那些和他过去一样生病的人，有观世音菩萨、有台长师父、你们的病都是小病，都是小事。一年时间，他成功度化八人修学心灵法门。先生也积极参加外出弘法。努力念经，认真修心，真心修行。
今年年初我又做了个梦：梦中师父给我先生开了一张无字处方。我拿着处方去捡药，药剂师告诉我：你们回家去吧，你先生没有病，不需要吃药。我高兴，先生更是兴奋，他好了，一切都好了。我们感恩无我利他仁慈大爱的师父！感恩观世音菩萨大慈大悲！是观世音菩萨和师父救了我先生，救了我们一家。
我先生自己已经念了五百多张小房子（不计算我念的）、放生了四千多条鱼。看着先生一天天好，我们家一天比一天幸福。我们家永远感恩师父！感恩菩萨妈妈！心灵法门是观世音菩萨的法门，是台长师父传授的能治病、能改运、能救命的不二法门，提高我们生活质量、提高我们生存质量。我们发愿一定听师父的话，做观世音菩萨的好孩子，努力弘扬心灵法门，努力精进、团结同修、慈悲众生，在念经、许愿、放生、读《白话佛法》的路上永不退转。
