Couple pfp

Twice in the past couple months I (25F) have had “business” accounts messaging me complimenting my picture and so forth (though business accounts it will be a pfp of a lone man). I have no idea who they are or where they are getting my number. I just replied asking where one got my number and they claimed I gave it to then- immediately blocked. What is with this??

(21m) Wow. Didn't ever think something like this would happen to me. Throwaway for obvious reasons. Today I fell victim to a sextortionist off of bumble. I just moved to a new area and got bumble to meet new people, and after realizing the swipe limit I put my snapchat in the bio. I know, very dumb. Was added the next morning by a girl and we talked for a little bit and they asked for my Instagram, which I hadnt used in a while but she insisted. A huge red flag I'm realizing now. So I let her have my Instagram username. she had sent a couple pictures before asking to get freaky. Me being ignorant about all of this at the time I played along. Ended up sending a picture with my whole body, face included. A huge mistake I'm realizing now. Just a few seconds later I was sent a collage of my insta, my face, and the private pic all together along with screenshots of my following list. And screenshots of the collage sent to a few people from my insta. Damn did they get lucky to cuz it was all people im close with and people i really cannot have seeing this. God if I knew about this kind of stuff none of that would have been public.
In my state of freaking out and asking them to please not send it they demanded 500$ from me on cashapp. I told them i didn't have any money and that I would work to get it to them by June 2nd, the first Friday next month, that was all i could think of to buy me some time.
I unfollowed everyone on Instagram in my panic (I realize how pointless this was seeing as they had it screenshotted, and how incriminating it will look that I did that) and changed the username, deleted my bio, changed the pfp and deactived it. Same with my Facebook and I blocked them on snapchat and deleted my bumble. Pretty much wiped out all my social media.
Now everyone says that if they dont hear from you for a few days they usually just move on, but this person is waiting till June 2nd for me to pay and I'm so worried that that day will be the end of me. I know a few people will understand but a lot of them are going to shame me. Not really their fault either, what I did was stupid. I should've seen the signs.
I don't know what my goal for this is, I guess I just needed to write this out to distract me from my anxiety. The worst part is I probably would've paid if I had it. Glad I didn't, I guess. I'm so fucking scared honestly I just wanna lay in my room and waste away. Anytime I get a message from someone Now I'm terrified it's going to be the leak.
Edit: I guess all I really need to know is if there is anything else I can do, anything I missed to keep me safe from them. And if I should talk to the people who might get something. I'm hoping if I say nothing that nothing will happen, but maybe it would be better to get ahead of it. I don't know anything I'm just really worried.

Hey everyone. I was threatened to have my photos leaked on Wednesday and she said they were going to everyone on my followers list on Insta. I sent them through Snapchat, but I sent them through a back-up account I created just in case something would be off and it was. She ended up calling on Snapchat saying she wanted $1000 but I just stuttered and sat there like my heart stopped. I permanently deleted the second account and removed her, as well as blocking her on Insta, and reporting her. I also went private on Insta, changed my pfp, bio, removed my name, changed username, as well changing a couple of settings too. I l also blocked her on my normal primary snap account and went to my recent phone calls and blocked her through my number, since she called on snap it appeared on my recent calls. It’s been little over 4 days but when I I went to school or talked to my friends or see my family my heart would race thinking they’ve seen the photos. And going to work, every time I see my co-workers that are my friends too, I think they seen the photos and feel my heart racing. I just got home playing street ball with my friends, to try and clear my head and have fun after what happened, but after I was done playing I couldn’t stop feeling anxious about it. On the drive home, I started crying a feeling anxious, and how my life is over. And most importantly, thinking how I failed God that I let the lust take over me in the moment and filled with regret. I feel like crying and curling up to a ball thinking about it. The reason I downloaded Reddit was to join this community and see what sextortion was and your guys feedback on my other posts has extremely helped me a lot and I know I’m not the only one going though this right now as I see other posts. I’m probably overthinking it and worrying too much because I have also seen a lot of other posts of people going through this and others are saying that they’re fine and that it’s very rare for photos to leak and I’m trying to be strong. Watching people’s stories on lnsta is helping a little because it means they haven’t gotten them and most likely they won’t. I’m about to graduate high school in less than two weeks and I have a lot of plans to have fun this summer, but I feel like everything is over. She has greenlighted a remix collab with Alice Gas, aware of Gas' name with no complaints prior to this drama.
Recently, Glass has sent Gas messages, upset that Gas' name is similar to hers, asking her to change it.
A couple months ago, 100 gecs performed at Boiler Room, and Gas was one of the musicians that was chosen (not by 100 gecs) to be an opener. Despite this, Glass sent 100 gecs messages calling them disrespectful for doing a Boiler Room that Gas happened to be at. Although, she did not contact the other artist who was phsycally standing with Gas performing with her. 100 gecs Boiler Room video on YouTube makes no mention of Gas and Gas did not perform alongside 100 gecs at all.
Gas said she would change her band name on her next release (I'm aware that at one point she said she'd change it in a month, but what would you do as a tiny artist when one of your favorite celebrities comes at you suddenly) which makes sense branding wise and helps her fans follow the change/not lose track of her, which she hasn't done yet because her new release isn't done yet.
Plus, using Alice ____ is not original at all. Glass based Alice off of something she shoplifted and Glass from a character.
In addition, when you start out as a transgender ultra niche genre SoundCloud artist with hardly any following, a play on another artists name you love doesn't seem to matter because you obviously feel insignificant compared to that celebrity, and you don't expect to get famous, and I'd argue that Glass is still more famous than Gas, like significantly. Most people don't even make the connection, like myself, even though I knew both artists. "Alice Gas" has an entirely different mood and vibe around it than "Alice Glass", and Gas' branding, music, album art, and aesthetic are completely different from Glass. Despite this, Glass sent them an angry message saying "Take my face too, take my body too" which is ridiculous to even say to someone who has no resemblance to you physically at all, and isn't reminiscent of you in any other way other than making their band name a TRIBUTE to you. Hyperpop uses references heavily, and I haven't heard a single Alice Gas song that sounds anything like Glass' solo work or her work when she was in Crystal Castles, nor any samples in Gas' work that are from anything Glass has made.
Also, Glass didn't seem to mind when she greenlighted a remix of one of her songs that Gas helped make. So the sudden change of heart seems really disingenuous to people on the outside watching this all go down. Like, it would have been way easier for Gas to change their name earlier in her career if Glass said something then, or make the collab a way to signal boost Gas' new band name, but instead she seemed happy to do a collab with Gas. This is why people disagree that Glass is sensitive about her name because of the history of her breaking off and making her own band to escape SA, because if it was something to do with that people expected for her to have a problem with Gas' name when she was reached out to in order to greenlight the remix- in which their names are right next to eachother.
That being said I'm curious to see what happens when Gas releases her new album. I truly believe that people can make the connection (and tell the difference) between Glass and Gas since its revelant to the subculture and knowing that Hyperpop, in and of itself is a mix, parody, contradiction, exaggeration of 2000's-2010s EDM, pop, emo, punk, ska, weeb, goth, meme, dubstep, lgbtq, YouTube, Tumblr, culture and the like- it makes sense for Gas to have the name she has. Again, wasn't an issue when Glass collabed earlier- I think since Gas is becoming more popular, Glass is now being petty about it. Also, the fact that she went after the more popular 100 gecs (whom performed separately from Gas and their set on the offical Boiler Room YouTube channel makes no mention of Gas and Gas does not appear in their performance), instead of 99jake, the artist who performed right beside gas, implies she is doing this for clout than actually going after people who associate with Gas. Plus, Alice Gas brings a younger crowd that would typically never listen to Glass to her music, which is cool. But I guess Glass didn't think about that.

People are confused why Gas being transgender has anything to do with this, and I'd just say this: Alice Gas, legal name Alice, is a transgender woman. Alice Glass said, "take my face too, take my body too." Alice Glass is a very conventionally attractive ciswoman. Alice Gas looks nothing like her and their styles are not comparable at all. I don’t think that it being construed as hurtful has anything to do with Glass asking her to change her name specifically, more just that comment didn't make sense if she was just mad about Alice Gas having a tribute name. Its obvious that Gas is not copying Glass in any way, artistically. So that comment about her face and body kinda rubs people the wrong way, because transwomen struggle with dysphoria because of society's perceived pinnacle of a beautiful woman: thin, pale, very conventional cisheteronormative facial features, all things that Glass has naturally, while Gas has to go through hormone therapy and surgery to obtain feminine features. It's just insensitive. I could understand her saying that if Alice Gas was copying her style, but she isn't. It comes off as very pretty girl privileged.

I started reading here 3 months ago when I saw my boyfriend had messaged a cam girl, but this is my first time posting. For backstory, we have known each other online for nearly 8 years, we met by chance in person over a year ago while I was in a relationship, I ended my last relationship and we eventually started seeing each other. He was the pursuer but I just wanted to be single for a while so I didn't commit to him. I realized I had deep feelings for him at the end of Summer 22 and we have been boyfriend/girlfriend since September after much resistance on my end. Now I consider myself very much in love with him and he tells me he is head over heels for me/tells me he loves me and wants to make me his wife constantly.

This nearly lead to us breaking up but after he begged me for another chance/a promise to be on his best behavior I stayed with him. He said he didn't consider this cheating and that he considered cam girls just regular porn, that he would never physically cheat on me, but that he sees where I am coming from now and that it was a huge wake up call/he would never to do anything like that to risk losing me again. About a month later I was using his phone and saw he hit on a girl on Instagram (this wasn't a porn star but someone who posts kind of provocative pics online). I was devastated once again. I wanted to break up and he begged for me back. The next day while I was at work crying and feeling absolutely hopeless about this situation he was at home watching all types of porn (I checked his google history). For some reason I decided to stay with him. We went through his instagram following together and I unfollowed every girl who wasn't his friend or someone I knew (I know this is very desperate). I told him he very obviously has a porn addiction and that he needs help. He told me he would try to educate himself about this. I'm sure he never did and didn't take me seriously.

I was so disgusted and immediately started crying but also found it laughable at that point. He grabbed his phone and immediately started trying to gaslight me into thinking I read the message wrong. Eventually he admitted to the message and said he didn't even remember sending it and that if they responded he would have never acted on it. As if I would believe that. He sent it on Thursday night, the day I left for vacation. He was probably just waiting for a chance not to get caught. On top of it all, he told me this wasn't even a cam girl, just some girl who showed up on his feed. He just DMs random women like a creep. I feel like he just views attractive women as sex objects. It's so humiliating. Who knows if he is messaging other people and deleting it before I can see it as well.
I'm so sick of this. It's making me insecure and I am naturally a confident person. We have sex multiple times a week, sometimes like 5+ times a day, and it isn't boring. I'm a great girlfriend. I know what I should do, but I don't want to do it. He is the only person I have in the city we live in. He is of course already begging for another chance. Last night he admitted to having a problem but he is 31 years old and I know I need to stop trying to fix him.

Ok so a bit of context before getting to the core of the story.
I started chatting on Instagram with this girl around 10 days ago. She was pretty cool, we have a lot of commont points and hobbies, like interests in video games and YouTube, + we are in the same high school (but never saw each other irl, cause we are like 1500 in it so you don't know everyone). Sometimes when chatting she disconnected and didn't read my messages for hours, sometimes a whole day while being online a couple of times. I know some people prefer waiting to have a lot of time to respond to texts, I'm ok with that so I wasn't worried by that kind of things.
3 days ago, she disconnected another time, I sent a message about the conversation when had before and then started waiting for the response, and another one some hours later cause I forgot something. The problem is that I'm still waiting for my messages to be read, and I saw her online everyday... I know she have the habit to take time to respond but 3 days, it's starting to be long
So idk if it's normal, if I need to see anything in it or if there's just no answer to it. Guess I'll just wait. I don't really want to send another think cause it might be intrusive so if you have any ideas of what to do to restart the conversation I'm taking.

I am dating a guy, Let's call my him Ian.
So my boyfriend for a while had a matching Instagram account with a gay guy who we'll call Steve (around 15M). I mean, matching pfp and matching cigarettes after sex bio, "stay with me" - "I don't want you to leave.". Steve also had a date in his bio and a highlight with Ian's first initial, this highlight contained romantic quotes and couple videos.
I did ask Ian about this but he said it was his online bsf and he didn't swing that way, but I digress. So around a month after stalking Steve's account, Ian got really sad about something and wouldn't tell me why. Later this same day, Ian and Steve unfollowed each other and everything previously mentioned was gone. Usually, I would think they just weren't friends anymore but the date which had a pink sparkle heart next to it, and the Ian highlight were both gone, confirming that Steve didn't just coincidentally have a boyfriend whose name just happened to also start with Ian's first initial.
I'm also going to say that although I don't have substantial evidence, I just know he cheated on me.
Another reason, he just wants my body
My boyfriend doesn't connect emotionally anymore. He doesn't want to go on a date unless we get intense nor does he seem to care about my interests. And going back to how he could have cheated on me, it just feels like he's across the world emotionally.

How do I get a narcissist to stop copying me and stalking me on social media
I haven't spoken to this narcissist in 3 months, when we last spoke it was a peaceful talk we both agreed that this relationship (friendship) must end and we won't talk anymore, she respected my boundaries and that I don't wanna continue no more, I asked her to delete my picturs and our chat history and she did and she never contacted me ever since.
But whenever I upload a story on Instagram she views them using fake accounts, I blocked one of her accounts, and there is this one account that followed me that I strongly believe belongs to her. And about the copying part, a couple of months ago she started copying my music taste and now listens to my favorite artist, puts pfp related to him, puts his lyrics in her bio, not only that she even has her username on her telegram account written in the same style as me.
It's really annoying, and embarrassing especially since I'm the only one in my area who listens to that artists, it makes me so awkward and uncomfortable, whenever I listen to my favorite artist I think of her, can't even enjoy listening to music properly anymore.
Should I tell her face to face to stop stalking me and copying me, since she wasn't stubborn the last time we spoke and respected my boundaries?

One of my favourite fanfictions hasn't been updated since November 2021. It's awakened a huge headcanon of mine that I can't stop thinking about (I first read it a couple days after it's most recent update, so a long time). I commented about a year after their update and asked if they planned to continue it, they said yes and said that a lot of personal issues was going on and I said I hoped they felt better but happened to notice an LGBTQ flag on their pfp so I pointed it out to say it's quite nice to see someone else and they said that was a huge part of their personal issues.
I really want to make a spin-off fic for their incomplete one and mark it as a gift, I just don't know whether it would be disrespectful? Should I make it? I feel if I make it without saying it was heavily inspired by their fic it'll look like I've copied them... any advice?

So I was looking around with a couple of friends on the actual use of vrchat plus. Since we pay 10 dollars a month for essentially a pfp and more slots what else does our 10 dollars actually do in development? Server help? Server Moderation? Sdk building? I legitimately am asking this since I'm considering cancelling it due to the state of which the game is at but am considering continuing to pay if there is actual support helping this game rather then just going into devs pockets to spend on Pocky Sticks.

It just seems that my local dealers (northeast USA) haven’t been getting new stock for past couple of months. I see the same meridians, pfp, and pp models, and only a few tpp in white or red. Are they shifting to 2024 models at this point?
