2022.10.28 00:03 Random-Lich There needs to be more endings/factions for the DLC’s
I played the game and got my first victory(BOS) and I am kinda upset that there isn’t more endings for the DLC or end game factions. I was the overboss that claimed Nuka-World, captian of the harbor, a BOS traitor to Arcadia and a enemy of the cult of atom. There should be something extra for the ending or maybe even more ending options.
Here is a couple of examples
Nuka-World: If you chose to be the overboss, you can choose to take over the commonwealth and basically make it your own version of The Pitt. Making an enemy of everyone and recruiting all the gangs of Raiders and Gunners to your side. Maybe even have some of the named Raiders/Gunners as ally’s like Ack-Ack, Boomer, Sinjin and many others. Don’t attack the institute but have to defeat a combined force of all the factions as things happen(I.e. the BOS getting betrayed by the Railroad and getting in the crossfire on the way to take out both leaders).
Harbor Captain: You ally yourself with the harbor and you make all of Far Harbor a safe place and make it a successful community by making trade routes with other places(I.e. sanctuary) getting rid of the institute coming after you trying to get Arcadia’s synths and maybe a massive fight with the Children of Atom attacking the places you allied with to build up the Harbor.
Neutral: Basically a Yes-Man route and only care about starting over. You can either side with Valentine and become a private eye, do a Kelog and become a gunner for hire or a third route to a life of a tradebodyguard. Maybe even become a Triggerman/woman for Goodneighbor if you are a buddy with Hancock.

2022.10.17 23:35 Interesting-Pin9074 So I was watching Season 2, Episode 8 and it got me thinking how each character has their own unique strength/talent that they're passionate about and sets them apart from each other....which got me thinking about their major & minor concentrations in Hollywood Arts!
Major: Voice (obviously). She is literally singing in almost every episode and I actually dig her voice and from a marketing perspective, I think her voice does have that powerful commercial “recording artist” quality that could make her a successful pop star.
Minor: Acting. I guess she’s could be a decent actor. She did have some involvement as an extra in one movie and played the lead roles in two school plays and we do see her in class multiple times doing some notable acting which I do believe she enjoys.
Minor: Singing (but unlike Tori, I think she leans towards broadways and musicals more than pop songs). She definitely has a more theatrical approach to her acting and singing which I really love and I can see her performing in Broadway.
Major: Interestingly, I think Cat would excel in Costume Design. She's the only character in Victorious that has a clear talent and love for costume design and makeup artistry. Not to mention, her almost psychic ability to accurately guess your measurements. Also, I think this talent complements really well her whimsical nature as a person.
Minor: Voice. Her singing voice is more alternative and rock and is so distinct and honestly, one that I enjoy more than Tori's. She could definitely be the main vocalist of a rock band!
Major: Directing/Playwriting! She definitely has a creative mind and a clear brand of what genre she wants to explore (horror). She writes original stories, directs and produces her work, and sometimes even stars in them. And what she makes is always interesting and gripping. Jade could definitely be a big shot director.
Minor: Voice. We all know he has a superb voice and is the perfect duet partner. And I wouldn't mind seeing him become a sought-after signer-song writer in the business.
Major: Songwriting/Music Production. Andre doesn't just have a voice. He's most defining talent is his ability to write songs and produce them. He also knows how to play many instruments which allows him to write impressive lyrics and come up with catchy melodies.
Minor: This one's a little difficult because really, Beck's go-to talents are mostly acting-based. But I guess, I could imagine him to minor in something that's somewhat close to acting which is...dancing. Beck has been seen to dance pretty fine. But I don't know. Another option that I'm seeing is modelling since he's you know hot and charming.
Major. Acting (obviously). Beck is a really rounded and versatile actor. He's capable in acting in films, plays, and even in commercials. He can probably act in different kinds of genres from drama to action.
Minor: Robbie's a pretty decent instrumentalist. He's seen to play guitar and harmonica fine though prolly not as adept as Andre. But I think he could take a minor in music instrumentation as he does enjoy playing his instruments.
Major: Acting. If we pretend that Rex talking is just Robbie, then it's clear that he is comedic genius. He can do stand up well, ventriloquism and physical comedy. He can prolly even host a game show or a reality show successfully (Robarazzi).
Minor: Though may not be the best singer, Trina is talented in other aspects. I would think that she could excel really well in dancing. She performs pretty good in a lot of group performances though not as consistent as other character's dancing ability but she manages.
Major: Acting. In the moments that we see Trina do impressively well is when she acts. One thing I notice about her is that she's the physical comedienne of the show and she's very active (often dangling from a wire). But she commits and doesn't seem to be fazed on things like that unlike Tori. We also see Trina being a skilled taekwondo/karate(?) fighter so we could see her doing stunts/fight scenes.
Minor: Though not fully explored in the show, I think Sinjin could be interested in organizing the practical and technical aspects of stage productions and even shows (game shows). We often see him have a clipboard and handling logistics so he must have a knack for it.
Major: Sound and Lighting Engineering. He's often the guy that helps out our main characters if they have plays/shows so we know he's one talented cookie. He's the one behind the lights, sounds, and set of most school productions. He makes the characters shine (literally).
Well, those are my thoughts at least. What ya'll think? I'd be happy to hear different ideas and possibilities that I may have missed :)

2022.09.10 18:26 ELMZY123988 OMG! He/She was a villain the whole time?!?!?!?!
Okay I know they would NEVER have done this at all but in a finale if any Victorious character or protagonist turned out to then be a villain whether that is as of probably recently or was for a while or just now or has been since the beginning who do you think would turn out to be a villain? I have different reasons for being so.
Trina - reason being: jealousy of Tori - from the start
Sinjin - reason being: neglection - as of recently
Sikowitz - reason being: drank an out of date coconut and went on a destructive rampage
Robbie - reason being: Rex is telling him what to do - can not decide where to put this
Andre - reason being: somebody in their group (most likely Tori) has taken his place in some kind of big music thing that he has been training for his whole life and now his chances are completely ruined - final season only
Beck - reason being: he left the group due to their craziness this would (would later plan on ruining them due to being held back from his dream and therefore will dump Jade again)
Cat - reason being: her brother visited her and Sam and she hasn't recovered from any trauma left on her that day therefore she forgot to take any of her meds for a while and then eventually went insane - series finale (this would make for a dark finale)
Jade - reason being: LITERALLY TORI VEGA'S SIMPLE EXISTENCE! - since the start of the entire series
Tori would never be a villain just because but if any of you have any good reasons for her being so please write them in the comments below
Weirdly enough though I will say this. The one out of all of this who is LEAST likely to turn out to be a villain is actually JADE! For many reasons
- Jade is too obvious
Jade has been acting like the evil bitch of the group from the start so this won't give the viewers any surprise at the end
- Jade is all bark and no bit
Despite her HATING Tori's guts she would never do anything to physically hurt her
- Because of how Jade has been portrayed through out the entire series chances are she is mostly likely going to save Tori from something in the finale like a near death experience or something like that
Anyways yeah those are my fan made plot twists and my reasons for thinking those

2022.09.10 01:31 ELMZY123988 Meredith - A potential villain
Not so long ago (or maybe long ago idr how long ago I made that whole 'Tori fixes Beck and Jade' post) I made a post on this subreddit saying how I feel the episode 'Tori fixes Beck and Jade' should have been an hour long special. Well one thing I forgot to mention about that episode which I feel needs to be spoken about is Meredith.
Meredith could have been such a good villain in that episode!
She could find herself becoming obsessed over Beck Oliver and do everything in her power to make him hers as she may reveal at some point of the episode that she has always loved Beck ever since her and him were in that play that Andre wrote.
Meredith could then get really mad at Jade as she knows about their past relationships (and yes I am making Jade Meredith's target not Tori) and tries to go on a little spree to do whatever she can to ruin Jade and her reputation. And yes all of this will happen WHILE Tori and Andre get Jade a new boyfriend so Beck can date Meredith but what if Meredith used this to her advantage and privilege?!
All of the "Jade being in hell business" will start to occur just after the confrontation between Jade and Tori and Andre including Beck in the janitors closet.
Meredith will still act like a 'total sweetheart' to everyone in school but when her and Jade are alone that is when she torments her and tortures her and it turns out that Meredith acts way worse to Jade than Jade has EVER acted to anyone in her whole life! And then like with that crazy Ponnie episode nobody in the group will believe Jade because they all know Meredith to be totally harmless even though Jade is the ONLY one who knows that Meredith "acts like the innocent flower but is the serpent beneath" when it comes to her.
Eventually Jade ends up falling out with Beck and not even being his friend anymore as she gets annoyed at him for not believing her and eventually Tori and Andre and Robbie distance themselves from her and Trina starts bullying Jade along with everyone else! Heck the only person Jade has left at that point is Cat! I don't know whether to make Sinjin still be a creep or start disliking Jade as well. And that is another point of this one, Jade starts to get bullied by everyone but unlike in the past where they never would they actually would bully her until Jade yells at them after being in school with her for so long they know that Jade is "all bark and no bite" so they just go on until she roars.
Eventually Jade almost leaves the school and plans to leave the school after she sings her "serenjade" to Beck after the moonlight dance (I think thats what it was called idr) and is a second away from doing so and while she is getting ready Meredith starts to bully her and all the times she has she has only been verbal and has only verbally and mentally abused Jade and socially destroyed her in an unfriendly mocking way and in an aggressive way but now after her performance she attempts to physically assault Jade and even goes as far as to take her scissors from her to try and terrorise them with it backstage just before her performance and that is when Meredith is FINALLY caught in the act!
It turns out that Meredith actually went in disguise as a unknown account on the Slap and started exposing stuff about Jade which is why everybody started bullying Jade also Meredith played the victim and said it was Jade bullying before all this mess happened but then this is how everybody found out it was her and that she was lying. Tori and gang (yes all 6 of them despite all of them apart from Jade not being dressed up for the concert) all go up on stage and get handed mics and they all sing an extended and remixed version of 'Beggin on your knees' and after the song they then get a huge screen down and EXPOSE the shit out of Meredith and then Helen comes out with Sikowitz and Helen expels her and then after that everybody walks off stage except for Jade (and her performance band of course) and only then Jade FINALLY sings 'you don't know me' and then from there the episode just plays out the same with her singing that song, Beck coming on stage and the two getting back together and then Andre's grandma cheering for Beck "GO GET EM BECK" I think she says and then Tori saying to Andre "you know Cat hasn't dated anyone for a while" and then Andre just leaving.
I think I may have missed a few bits from the last bit of that episode but hey! Anyways that's what I think should have happened. Honestly Meredith would have been THE PERFECT villain for that very episode, that and the episode itself being an hour long special I mean one or the other I would've been calm with but both of them at once just woulda been a double whammy! But either way I'm still happy and grateful for that episode as even though I still feel certain stuff could have made it better, 'Tori fixes Beck and Jade' STILL remains one of my favourite Victorious episodes of all time!

2022.08.01 08:10 TenthBasilisk88 Why am I not seeing anyone talk about this?
Sinjin, that odd background character, actually went missing in the victorious universe. In Victorious’s sister show “Sam and cat” you can actually spot a missing poster with sinjins photo on it. (It’s in the episode #MommaGoomer on Sikowitz door.) When I first spotted it, it blew my mind because of how odd and out of place something like that was. Does anybody know anything about this? And was did they ever reveal what happened to him?

2022.06.09 16:38 darkshadow237 Victorious series finale
If Victorious got a proper series finale how would you plot it out?
Here’s my series finale plot.
Tori gets a invitation to attend a performing arts school in Paris, France that with some encouragement accepted the invite. Trina (who finally found her true talent), her parents, both former and current principals, Sikowitz, Jade (whose struggling to say goodbye to Tori), Beck, Andre, Cat, Robbie, Rex, Sinjin, and all the HAH students throw her a surprise farewell party at the Asphalt Cafe after she finished packing all of her things at home, and Tori along with Andre, Jade, and Cat perform Don’t You Forget About Me then during the performance switches to the airport with Tori on a Airloft flight to Europe by herself watching clips of her time in Hollywood Arts High as it ends with Tori writing on TheSlap her final update to everyone that we are Victorious, and Tori closes her laptop with the song ending as we watch Tori’s flight to Europe during a sunset.

2022.05.16 23:11 Animeking1108 I hate it when bullying is played for comedy
Some people have that sensitive subject that they don't particularly care for when it's trivialized, especially when they've experienced that sort of thing. For me, it's abuse and bullying. More often than not, bullying in media is portrayed as harmless and the victim usually brushes it off as some minor, but annoying, inconvenience. However, there are times when it goes too far.
Before I get accused of being overly sensitive, there are exceptions. For starters, it's easy to watch when the bully just uses petty insults and is all talk with their threats of violence. In kid shows, we can't really have them using obscenities or derogatory slurs, so calling somebody a "butt-face" can only be so discomforting. The most acceptable form of physical bullying is when it's no worse than a wedgie. If the victim starts crying or getting distressed, then it becomes hard to watch. If the bullying does go to far, then the bully should suffer some sort of karma for their behavior.
An example of this being done right is with The Peanuts. Whenever Charlie Brown gets put through the wringer, he always tries to tough it out. We rarely see him in total despair whenever he gets humiliated. Lucy, his most prominent bully, will get her moments of karma. Even with the football running gag, Charlie Brown is just as much to blame for it as Lucy, since he'll keep falling for it. There are times when he would even refuse to do it, only for Lucy to sweettalk him into doing it.
Another example of this done right is with Helga from Hey Arnold! While she does tend to threaten to beat everybody up, a lot of time, she's all talk. The only person we ever see her hit is Brainy, but Brainy is always stalking her and breathing down her neck. So, when does it go wrong?
An example of this done wrong is Don't Mess With Me, Ms. Nagatoro. Throughout the first episode, Senpai gets stalked, beaten, and humiliated by Nagatoro at every turn. Eventually, this torture takes its toll on him and he actually starts crying, and Nagatoro continues to make fun of him for it. What was the joke here? Switch the genders and it'd be a lot less funny, wouldn't it? What makes this worse is that even after Nagatoro emotionally scarred him, he still likes being around her instead of filing a restraining order like I would have. The story tries to justify it by claiming that she was just trying to teach Senpai to stand up for himself, and then they try to retcon it by revealing Nagatoro always felt bad for making him cry (yeah, because that sadistic grin on her face is the face of remorse).
Dan Schneider's shows have a fetish for Karma Houdini Bullies. Megan from Drake And Josh has pulled pranks on her brothers that would have landed her in prison several times over. Jade from Victorious can't go five minutes without putting anybody down, including her boyfriend, she shaved Cat's head for accidentally waxing her eyebrows off, and she ran Sinjin over with her car after she argued with Beck. However, the worst offender is Sam from iCarly. On her good days, she insults Freddie whenever she can. On her bad ones, she beats him half to death with a tennis racquet until he conforms to popular opinion, gets a job at the same store he works at just to harass him into quitting, continues her abuse when she starts dating Freddie, and then starts beating up Gibby instead when she starts getting Bitch Withdrawal.
However, it gets even worse when the victim is treated like they deserve to get bullied. An example of this is Ed, Edd n Eddy. We're supposed to be laughing when the Eds get beaten to a bloody pulp because the kids keep humoring and falling for their scams. Sometimes, one of the Eds screw up, another, if not all three of them, get punished. Then the show has the nerve to portray Eddy getting abused by his brother as a bad thing and the kids think Eddy's Brother is a jerk even though they've given them worse beatings in the past.
Another example is The Inbetweeners. While Will can act like a pompous know-it-all at times, the karma he faces can go overboard at times. The worst example of this is when Will was forced to work at an auto shop for work experience, and he keeps belittling the mechanics who work there. In retaliation, the mechanics start bullying him, including an incident where they pants him, stuff him in a trunk, and toss him in a lake. I'd like to remind you that they are middle aged men, and Will is a teenage boy. When Will reports this to Mr. Gilbert, he victim blames him and claims that he must have said something to provoke them, and we're supposed to be siding with Gilbert on that. First off, no matter how much of an asshole Will was being, that doesn't justify grown ass men abusing a minor. Second, Will didn't want to work at the auto shop in the first place. Gilbert intentionally swapped his application with Neil's because he wanted to humiliate him again.
I hope I conveyed my grievances with this trope in a way that doesn't sound like I'm bitching over a trivial matter. There's a right way and a wrong way to portray bullying for comedy.

2022.03.11 19:01 SynthFrenetic [Update] I've finished watching ALL seasons of Victorious. Here are my thoughts!
Some of you might remember this post
from 15 days ago, where I analyzed season 1 of Victorious and later updated saying I got an Amazon Prime access to finish the series. Well, here I am with the full thoughts!
If you haven't, I heavily suggest you to read that post because all my considerations will be based on those facts.
So, now I must say I loved the show. It's a bit hard to say this, but I don't have doubt I liked more Victorious than iCarly, and it's now, for sure, my favorite Dan show. For a little contextualization, I watched Drake & Josh, which was overall good, but soon lost interest in finishing it. iCarly I watched the entire series and was relatively perfect, but now I feel Victorious is even closer to being my favorite. Sam & Cat I've tried a few episodes (about 4) but eh, it soon felt I was just watching to reach the end. The only other series from him, which I remember from my childhood, would be Zoey 101, which I may catch on later, idk.
But let's get straight into the review.
My points regarding acting, episodes plots and being a more serious series, still stands up.
As I expected, the series finished giving more character development over the seasons. My point about having too many characters on the series still stands, but I think as soon as you have lots of episodes to watch, you don't really bother to think "Oh, [character] is missing in this episode"
About their age, I mentioned they acted a bit older than what I remember from when I was at their age. Interestingly, this also coincided with me getting into a classroom in person for the first time in about 2 years, and now I see our reality aren't much different, so the pandemic did blur a few of my memories. (I'm about 2 years older than most of the characters at the time/Circa 10 years and a month younger than Victoria)
Except perhaps regarding driving. In the US it seems the minimum age is 16, in my country is 18 and still, I'm 19 and don't feel ready yet. By the way, all this just to say those green screen car scenes were very eeeeh....
I won't dive into their characters personalities again as I don't really think my thoughts on them really have changed: Tori is that uncool friendly girl who I can relate, Trina the annoying older brother, André the wholesome best friend, Jade the Frenemy, Beck the supportive background friend, Robbie a peculiar character which I still have trouble to have an opinion and Cat the fluffy silly redhead.
Two other characters which I believe also deservers an honorable mention are Sinjin and Sikowitz. Not really much to say about Sinjin, but an interesting background character nonetheless. Sikowitz, on the other hand, was one of my favorite characters, which I think I'd even rank higher than a few from the main group. Other than saying he would probably be a weird but funny teacher, I like the fact that you knew whenever he got into the scene, he would make you laugh. I said similar things about Spencer on iCarly.
One thing I've also noticed is that the series, more or less, aged well. I think this probably is because it's the newest from the bunch: Drake & Josh, iCarly and Victorious, so cellphones and notebooks are extremely common things to the point an episode like "Cell Block" is as relevant as it was back in the day. Another thing is (hopefully) there's not even a need to update/remake the series, like you could argue with iCarly.
Other than that, another point I could comment is regarding how the series got more complex, especially on seasons 3 and 4. iCarly had a similar thing with more scenarios, and it was interesting on having other peoples posts on TheSlap, although it could become a little confusing.
But definitely, one thing which really putted the series down for me was the lack of a finale, despite most of the plot were finished by Season 4, even hinting m.ore or less what would happen afterwards, it definitely needed an episode for this: Tori and André becomes really close friends, Jade and Beck becomes definitive lovers again (although I believe they worked better alone), and they even tease a little of a Cat and Robbie ship.
Could also be intriguing to show (on the finale) more or less what everyone done after Hollywood Arts, probably Tori becoming a very talented and high selling singer, André maybe even an instrumental partner, or working on the same field as some kind of record label owner. Jade and Beck probably applies more into the acting field, possibly Jade doing some one-off singing appearance. I believe Robbie really missed the opportunity of doing some kind of comedy with Rex and Cat going to star Sam & Cat.
Oof, this might have been my longest Reddit post ever. Well, I think that's it, not really much to criticize and a lot to praise, I guess my favorite kids live action show now. I thought about writing what could have been of a reboot, but I don't really see it happening, the series needed a finale, but there's no way to do this in 2022. And a reboot, I also don't know how they would tie everyone in a way to make some sense, unless they change completely the premise of the show. Pros that the whole cast seems to be up to it, and I'd watch it anyway, even if a one episode reunion or a whole season.
If you liked my review, please check some of my other works!

2021.09.01 18:41 suitchii I loved seeing Sinjin and Beck getting along in the last episode of Victorious, Sinjin is the most abused boy in high school and considered the weirdest, and beck is probably the most popular boy of the most popular group in high school, Too bad the show was cancelled
2021.08.24 04:19 CamilaCazzy Jade West is overrated.
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy watching her onscreen, and she's my second favorite character. Not to mention she's very pretty and has a beautiful voice and fashion style. But there were several times when she was plain terrible. Like remember when she poured coffee on Tori? When she ran over Sinjin? Or what about the many times when she was extremely harsh towards people for no reason? Tori may have made mistakes, but they were usually accidents, and she always tried to solve the problems she caused. I honestly find it so annoying how the fandom always treats her like the true villain of Victorious, while pretending that Jade was innocent this whole time.
Like I already said, I don't hate the girl, but I really think people should stop glorifying her every action and romanticizing her toxicity. She is a bully, after all.

2021.07.06 09:56 _Final-Judgement_ Tori Vega from Victorious is not a bad character and did her job perfectly.
Yes I said it. What people fail to realize is that Tori is supposed to be “boring” she is supposed to help the audience see the characters and their stories. She may be the main character but the story is mainly about her friends instead of it being about her. If you actually pay attention or read the script you’d even see Characters like Jade,Cat and Andre had more lines than Tori. Tori revolves around the other characters and Nickelodeon has done this and still does this style of story telling all the time. Look at “Nicki,Ricky,Dicky, and Dawn”(Dawn’s name is literately the last name in the title) “Rocket Power”, “The Loud House” and the list goes on and on. Even other TV shows and movies made by other companies do this so I don’t know why it’s such a big deal with “Victorious”. I don’t even know why people hate Tori so much and say she’s annoying when Sinjin exists. Sinjin is a literally creep. Lastly I will admit what Tori did to Jade was a really shitty thing to do.

2021.03.23 10:42 293549 Finished the series- imma get abused for some of these opinions
Trina and Sikowitz are the best written and acted characters------by a mile. Both were under-utilized in later seasons.
Season 1 is easily the best season
Writing was often cheap and lazy in seasons 2,3,4, Jade and Cat's characters got worse after season 1
Not enough variety. Same jokes over and over about Robbie and Sinjin being disgusting and unappealing.
Tori and andre's songs were often generic borefests. Freak the freak out and Give it up are 2 examples of actually good songs with some variety. But most of the songs in the series are bland, i can see why they wern't selling well.
"Give it up" is ridiculously good. Better than anything Tori, Ari or Liz have ever done alone.
Jade became a complete meme after season 1. Turned from a cool, mean, witty girl into a screaming jack in a box psychopath.
Andre is a great character. Well written dialogue and good acting. Not sure why he never got together with Tori......guess cause he's got too much colour? Lol
Tori was a great character. Not as good as Trina, Andre, Sikowitz, or Robbie （or Cat and Jade in season 1） but throughout the 4 seasons Tori was good. I loved how genuine she was and how she always stuffed things up in hilarious ways.
Robbie was well acted. Often given some weird material but still good character.
Recently watched Big Time Rush season 1. I think BTR season 1 beats Victorious season 1 but they're both really good and will be rewatching both every couple years.
Best scene in the series? Maybe Trina's audition with Sikowitz...
edit: more opinions below
What was up with the last episode? They couldn't have made a better season finale?
I like Beck. I suppose his relationship with Jade is what makes his character, he also had nice moments with everyone so I do think he's a good character, just isn't as eccentric and doesn't stand out as much, which is why i forgot him lol
Underrated episodes on imdb----"Locked up" "Trina's audition"
I think the entirety of season 1 is underrated on imdb because more non fans vote on the first season and bring down the score compared to seasons 2,3,4

2021.03.07 04:28 zoey223 I'm a Victorious Fan
I was just scrolling through Netflix about two weeks ago and found Victorious. I've heard of this show before, it looked cool, and I think it'd just come on Netflix. (it was also 3:00AM LOL) So I clicked it. I watched the first episode and I was so in love with it. I ended up watching victorious for 6 hours straight until I fell asleep. I've watched EVERY episode and I love to rewatch them. Overall my favorite characters were Jade, Beck, Trina, Cat, Andre, Sinjin, Andre, and Andre's Grandma.. (I had a small crush on andre). If you love Victorious as much as I do and want to rant a reboot then upvote this! (It's ok if it doesn't happen, this is one of my first posts)
