Chevy cruze wiring harness

Any advice is appropriate

2023.06.10 17:47 youtubeisdariusblaze Any advice is appropriate

What the heck is wrong with my truck?
Excuse my grammar I’m on mobile.
I have multiple questions regarding my truck. I have a 1993 Ford F-250 with the ol reliable 4.9L 300 inline six.
Except mine is incredibly unreliable.
I bought this truck because my old truck ( 1990 K2500 5.7L 350) kept blowing transmissions ( 700R4). The first one I have no idea how it happened, the second one I accidentally overfilled ( live & learn), the 3rd one roatated 90° ( etc etc off topic)
So my questions regarding my 300 require backstory I will try to keep it short.
I actually drove it in November ( best friend’s brother got a dui & got evicted so I had to help him move his crap)
My chevy crapped out again in January so I bought my friends 300.
I drove it home without fluids ( I have a whole tiktok on it lol). It has no exhaust whatsoever, just the 2 pipes ( one comes from the read of the headers it looks like, the other from the front) it’s all stock & the 02 sensor is still in place just looks hacked off. However, the cat & muffler are connected by this singular hose to I think the EGR or the rear of the engine ( haven’t fully looked).
I bought glass packs & planned on straight piping it ( hate me I know).
It ran fantastic! Until about mid February. It had a hole in the fuel tank so I bought a “ new” tank & I replaced the fuel filter ( it was terrible! I have a tiktok on that as well). I then changed the oil, spark plugs & spark plug wires, roater & cap, fuses, pullys , relay, doors, fenders, vaccume lines, terminals & the battery cables.
It goes through serpentine belts about once a month ( I believe it’s the alternator pully)
Now i can start it up. Run it cold & it runs meh. I can go 50mph but the second I stop or it warms up it stalls like crazy. The only fix was replacing the spark plugs again. I towed about 1500lbs of gravel & it ran fine. Then 2 weeks later it stalls again once it hits operating temperature. Could it be the fuel pump?
Here are my questions.
  1. I’ve read there is a lot you can “ delete” on the 300. What will a egr delete do? Pros?cons? function? I don’t mind a check engine light
  2. What could be causing the stalling? It’s only after I get into 2nd or 3rd & then stop at a stop sign or traffic light ( if I even get to town)
I tend to play parts magnet but my only 2 guesses are timing ( I know it’s gear on gear but i have no idea what that means) and the fuel pump.
  1. Any other advice on these engines ( 4.9 300l6) would be nice
I’m a self taught “mechanic” so I’m still learning & I just want my truck to run reliable.

2023.06.10 16:45 Lanegentry I have been asking a question about something and no one seems to know, an 2006 f150 5.4 triton, what is the connector behind the ac compressor on the engine block, it splits off of the wire harness with the oil temperature sensor on the oil pan, it's probably a sensor, but what sensor

2023.06.10 16:35 Severe_Sheepherder20 2022 KLX230R Wiring Issue

Pretty new to dirtbikes in general, but I have a 2022 KLX230 that is having some fuel pump and battery issues. I just bought a two stroke that I’ve been riding a lot more and figured I might as well get the issues fixed and sell the KLX.
I took it to the a local dealership and they ran diagnostics and they said the fuel pump issue is due to a bad wiring harness and voltage regulator and quoted me $1200 to fix which seems pretty steep. I can’t find much online and figured I’d see if anyone here had experience with this kind of thing, or could tell me if they are trying to fleece me for something I could easily do myself with a little wiring knowledge. I have another OHV mechanic I’ll probably take the bike to next week, but not sure if I’ll hear the same thing and maybe this is just standard for this kind of thing?

2023.06.10 16:26 Eastern-Formal4275 98 olds Bravada

98 olds Bravada
am trying to help fix my mothers 98 oldsmobile bravada, i have a charger that when i plug in there is a whirring sound that isnt coming from the charger. I tried pulling fuses to see if thats the problem but went 10/10 without finding one. I was wondering if its normal or if some 1 had a fix. My uneducated guess is a critter chewed up a wire cuz the harness goes into the cab is right there by the noise.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks from Michigan

2023.06.10 14:43 22R_ART Error code P0141

Hello all! I have a weird annoying problem. I have a 2009 Jeep wrangler JKU from Canada. It recently dropped me a P0141 code, we replaced all spark plugs (properly gap them), replaced coil pack, replaced wires, replace both B1/1 and B1/2 O2 sensors, and still no success. Here’s where it gets trickier; The car hasn’t have issues in fuel efficiency (for the age of the car I’m getting 15.2 to 14.7) values that haven’t been affected, both catalytic converters are not overheating and are new as of March this year (so no clogged cat symptoms), no visible or noticeable vacuum leaks, no overheating or dragged throttle response. We are leaning towards a short on the B1/2 O2 sensor heater terminal however the diagrams we’ve found point at pin 9 on the PCM Connector #3 and guess what? That is a ground! And pin 10 (which is supposed to go to the B1 upstream heater terminal) is going to the downstream heater terminal and it is joint somewhere inside the harness with Connector 100 and 105 with no reference of this connection on any of the diagrams I’ve found :/ So I don’t know where to find the proper connection and I’m stuck Any help is appreciated

Safety is paramount in every aspect of our lives, especially when it comes to potentially dangerous activities such as driving and welding. Helmets and best safety jackets are for protecting individuals from accidents and hazards. In this blog, we will explore the significance of helmets and safety jackets and introduce a website that provides a wide range of high-quality safety gear, including driving helmets, welding helmets, safety helmets, and safety jackets.

The Importance of Helmets

Helmets are essential Headgears or fundamental safety equipment designed to protect the head from traumatic injuries. They are essential for various activities, including driving, biking, construction work, and sports. Here are some reasons why helmets are crucial:
Protection against Head Injuries: Helmets provide a protective barrier between the head and potential impacts, reducing the risk of severe head injuries, concussions, and brain trauma.
Compliance with Safety Regulations: Wearing a helmet is often mandatory by law in many jurisdictions for activities such as motorcycle riding. Compliance with safety regulations ensures personal safety and avoids legal complications. You can buy the best bike helmets in India from Windsor.
Enhanced Visibility: Many modern helmets feature reflective elements or bright colors, increasing visibility and reducing the chances of accidents in low-light conditions.

Welding Helmets for Safety during Welding

Welding is a high-risk activity that exposes workers to various hazards such as sparks, heat, radiation, and harmful fumes. Welding helmets are specifically designed to protect welders from these dangers. Here’s why welding helmets are essential:
Eye Protection: Welding helmets provide shielded viewing areas with specialized filters that protect the eyes from intense brightness, sparks, and harmful UV radiation emitted during welding.
Face and Head Protection: In addition to eye protection, welding helmets cover the entire face and head, safeguarding the skin and preventing burns from welding splatter and sparks.
Respiratory Safety: Some welding helmets are equipped with respiratory systems that filter out harmful fumes and particles, ensuring clean air for the welder to breathe.

Essential Headgears for Industrial Environments

best Safety helmets are widely used in industrial settings to protect workers from falling objects, impacts, and electrical hazards. Here’s why safety helmets are vital in such environments:
Protection from Falling Objects: Safety helmets with sturdy shells and cushioned interiors offer reliable protection against falling debris and objects.
Electrical Safety: In electrical work environments, safety helmets with insulation properties protect against electrical shocks and contact with live wires.
Identification and Communication: Safety helmets often have additional features such as reflective strips or built-in communication devices, facilitating easy identification of workers and effective communication on-site.

Safety Jackets: Essential Headgears to Shield Against Hazards

Safety jackets are essential personal protective equipment (PPE) designed to protect the upper body from various occupational risks. Let’s explore the significance of safety jackets:
Visibility and Reflectivity: Safety jackets are often fluorescent or brightly colored, making wearers easily visible, especially in low-light conditions or busy work environments.
Protection from the Elements: Safety jackets provide weather protection, shielding workers from rain, wind, and cold temperatures, and ensuring comfort and well-being during outdoor work.
Enhanced Safety Features: Many safety jackets have additional features like reflective strips, high-visibility markings, and built-in harnesses for fall protection, further enhancing worker safety.

Face Shields

Face shields are transparent protective gear that covers the face, protecting against splashes, airborne particles, and hazardous substances. Here’s why they are crucial:
Eye and Face Protection: Face shields provide a clear and wide field of vision while protecting the eyes, nose, and mouth from potential hazards. They are particularly useful in healthcare, manufacturing, and laboratory settings.

Conclusion:

Helmets and safety jackets are essential Headgears when it comes to personal safety in activities such as driving and welding, as well as in industrial environments. Investing in high-quality safety gear is crucial to prevent accidents, protect against injuries, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. 2023.06.10 08:18 Revolutionary-Cry385 F22 harness be used for a H22z1 engine?

Hey just wondering if this is possible cause I’m getting an engine without a harness.
If it does work I’d probably have to do wiring for the vtec. Anyone got ideas or know a thing or two about the process?

2023.06.10 07:34 Apherisis Adding a circuit to power led strips to my door trim

New to Reddit and this forum so hoping someone can guide me. I wanted to know how safe is it to tap into the powering harness of my car’s door without a fuse to power some led strips. I have a new-ish 2019 Audi so don’t wanna mess up any electrical stuff! P.S. all the wires in the circuit are rated for higher amperage than what would ideally be running though the system.

2023.06.10 06:34 catmaniabyt What is this wiring to and how do I fix it

What is this wiring to and how do I fix it
I bought my first car a few months ago, a 2008 chevy uplander, guy told me the ac didn't work so he "mickey mouse'd it" and now the radiator fans run constantly at full rpm. And the he said so does the ac compressor. One random wire runs from fuse down to these connectors and another from a ground bolt down there. I believe I fixed the ac issue and wanna put it back to normal but I'm unsure how it's supposed to look/go, and help is appreciated.

2023.06.10 05:07 afringpan 08 335xi won't start with push to start

Just bought an 08 335xi and the PO said that the PO before him installed a button in the cab which goes to the green harness in the white box under the hood.
If I try to use the ignition button to start the car it goes in acc fine but then when I try to start the car it engages the starter for a split second and that's it. I can push the button over and over with the same result.
The jumped button that the PO installed works great every start, put the car in acc and push the hard wired button and kicks right over.
I've checked to see if the engine had bad ground by running a cable from bat neg to the block with no change to the ignition button function.
Looking to see if anyone has had the same issue and possible solution as this is the last thing that needs figured out on this car.
Ibs has been checked as well, all good with that

2023.06.10 04:58 PutinsPu55 HELP! Stereo not turning on

I have connected the following wires I believe to be responsible for the stereo to turn on, I haven’t hooked up the rest yet bc I want to make sure it works before I connect a bunch of wires.
Wiring diagram to harness conversion
Car wiring diagram. Harness labeled
Radio fuse 15A Hot at all times ———12v battery constant
HOT IN RUN OR ACC 7.5A FUSE———12v ignition/switched
Chassis ground————GRND
These are the only wires necessary for the stereo to turn on correct? The rest are the speaker + - wires so I wouldn’t think so but please let me know!

2023.06.10 04:35 zperson50 2016 Prius 4 Cheaply Built. Why?

This is my first used 2016 Prius and first Toyota ever. Before, I had a used 2013 Chevy Cruze because that was the car I had from when I was a teen. I’ve noticed a LOT of cheap short cuts on the type of materials that never happened to my Cruze. But let me set it straight, I LOVE Toyota and LOVE everything about my Prius, I just can’t get over the cheap materials to the point where I don’t know if I trust Toyota anymore. For example, my steering wheel is starting to bubble, the clear outer coating on the black panels are staring to peel off, the interior door “leather” is so thin, I accidentally scrapped it with a log and it tore it up all the way down to the foam :(, the paint chips so bad, I’ve never seen paint chip that bad from normal driving. I can’t say I’m driving any differently or parking it differently either. Can someone help me understand if there is some big outstanding quality issue with this newer line?

2023.06.10 02:29 nova0052 Seeking mechanic near Plano, TX for major overhaul on 2nd gen

Who do you trust around Plano or the DFW metro for major work on old 4Runners?
Short version: As the title says, I'm looking for a mechanic to do major work on my 93 4Runner. It needs an engine overhaul, a de-gunking of the fuel system, a few suspension parts, a good cleaning, and possibly major electrical work.
Long version: I moved to Allen, TX (near Dallas) in January this year, leaving behind my 1993 4Runner, which was supposed to be having major work done by a mechanic in Moreno Valley, CA.
For 18 months, the mechanic had given me regular updates as he replaced my brake lines, rebuilt the engine, repaired the suspension, and replaced the wiring harness, which had been melted by a careless tow truck driver when jumping the vehicle. The mechanic told me in detail about how hard it was to source quality parts, and how this or that NOS component shipped from Wichita was actually out of spec and had to be re-ordered. It took him months to fix a few tiny but stubborn leaks.
This week I found out that it was all a lie, he never completed any work, and I'm out thousands of dollars until I drag him to court. I flew back to California, documented the condition of the vehicle, served the mechanic a demand letter, and towed my truck off the property. I'm shipping it to my house in Texas and searching for a mechanic near Plano/DFW who I can trust to do the job right.
Tl;dr California mechanic kept my truck for 18 months and performed zero repairs. During that time I moved to DFW area and now that I have the truck back I need to find a new mechanic. Do you trust anyone in the area?
