I close my eyes, hoping for a good dream, but it turned out to be a Danny nightmare. what’s the time? I never have dreams. It’s just pure darkness, but something was different this time. As soon as I close my eyes and let my mind go off, I was in a dark forest. It wasn’t pure black it was more of a navy blue undertone. Me, Drew, Danny and Curtis were wondering off in the forest. It was like a normal camping trip until Danny had to take a poop or what he called it “brown cumbersome sh*t” in an aggressive Tone. Before going the whole day was only Danny talking about scary poems and people holding knifes with an unusual grimly smile. He sang happily about following a cat but for some reason it made me shake in fear. To be honest, I was scared of Danny but luckily, Drew and Curtis were there too. I’m pretty sure they felt the same way. He went off to poop, but the thing is he never came back. after around 7 hours everyone was panicking and extremely worried. Drew screamed “Danny usually only takes 5 hours to poop!” I looked at him strangely but he said “well me and him are twins you know” while rolling his eyes. Everyone wondered off, trying to find him, but for some reason all we could hear was footsteps from every single corner of our ears and our eyes. It felt like Slenderman was going for me maybe Greglyman. A noise soon appeared, “Bang” then soonly followed a scream. I heard the sound of juicy eyes closing and staring. We all went berserk in fear. We all ran in different directions.I got extremely scared and by one blink the blue undertone was no longer there; the night was pitch black. Darker than the human brain can imagine. I fell down in a ditch screaming. My leg had a deep cut from thorns and sticks. I tried using a leaf for a bandage but nothing was working. I cried in agony until drew walked up in blood. He was holding a knife with the smile Danny was talking about. My heart throbbed until Danny appeared. My dream ended right there. I don’t know what Danny or Drew was going to do to me or what happened to Curtis all I know is that dream Danny is not someone you want to mess with.

I (16F) have been staying with my Aunt and Cusin, H(10F) for the weekend. Today we went to a birthday party for a kid on my other Cusin’s, S(20F) boyfriend(he wasn’t actually at the party, he was at work) I didn’t wanna go because I didn’t know anyone but I went anyway.
I was wearing a red T-Shirt and black ripped jeans(this is important later.) Near the end of the party one of the boyfriends relatives who was sitting beside me, PUT HER HAND ON MY THIGH and started messing with the ripped part of my jeans and asked “if I pull it, will it break?” Mind you, this lady is like 40 something.
I hate people touching me, especially my thighs so I answered yes to her question and than asked my Aunt and Cusin’s if we could leave. My aunt said yes and we started to leave.
The others got upset that we were leaving early and S said that what that adult did was way out of line, especially to someone they had just met. She said that she did it all the time, so what’s the big deal now? They argued for a little bit and now H is upset at me because she was having fun.

I’ve been going down a Large Hadron CollideCERN rabbit hole recently (both science and tinfoil hat directed) and can’t help but notice the parallels.
In the books the Aes Sedai discovered a new power source emanating from this specific area. Then, when they bored the hole in the Pattern the Dark One was able to influence the physical world and his touch caused a gradual degeneration in society.
The scientists at CERN are admittedly trying to create small black holes in order to study antimatter, the campus is rife with Shiva (God of Destruction) symbols, and it’s not hard to argue that there has been societal decay since it’s inception in 2012.
Interesting and entertaining correlations... Life imitates art, as they say. I just wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone else has noticed it or any other parallels between current events and past Ages from tWoT!

Hi everyone. I didn’t think I’d ever have the desire to work with demons but here we are. I’ve waited years to work with deities because I never felt a strong connection to one until now and this came out of absolutely nowhere. All of a sudden I can’t get Him out of my mind. All of this week, Lucifer keeps popping into my thoughts at random. It feels like a strong pull, like when you’re in love with someone, but it’s not love, more like an intense longing? It’s hard to describe. This might turn out to be a novel so I apologize.
So I’ve been causally talking to Him and reading about Him. I asked Him if He could send me a dream and sure enough, the same night I had a dream. In the dream, I walked into my kitchen and there were three snakes. One was a massive brown snake, bigger than any snake in reality. The second looked like a coral snake, but bigger, and the third was a smaller black one. I remember looking straight into the eye of the coral looking snake and it’s eyes were bright red and almost glowing. I’m not afraid of snakes but I was alarmed so I started screaming in the dream and that’s when a man’s voice said “stop screaming” but I don’t know where it came from. Then the dream cut to a scene were I was walking down the street and I spot a very large orb weaver spider in her web in a tree and she reacted to me. Then I see there are three more orb weavers on the ground and two tarantulas which started running after me but then I woke up. I know He can come as snakes but I haven’t read anything about spiders. Anyone have experience with that?
The next day I was looking for new music to listen to on Spotify and happened to come across Exodus’ “Deliver us to Evil”. I’ve heard of the album it’s on but never actually listened to it. The song mentions Lucifer, albeit in a very Hollywood type way but I loved the song and couldn’t stop listening to it. I’ve heard of accounts of Him sending people songs, could it be Him?
I also read that He likes metal music, particularly black metal. I already listen to metal while doing my spell work because I find it empowering and it puts me into a meditative state but I don’t want to go blasting black metal during a ceremony if He actually thinks it’s disrespectful.
The last thing I want to do is be disrespectful on accident. I don’t want to ask Him for anything either, I just want to connect.
Say I offer Him wine, do I drink the wine? Or if I leave it there what do you do with it after the ceremony? This also goes for other foods.
What is His personality like? And does He care if I use cannabis?
How do I protect myself against imposters?
Any book recommendations or links on Lucifer or demons in general is appreciated. Thanks for reading my post :)

Yesterday, he was practically trying to convince his audience to vote for Trump& of course was minimizing all the charges (leaving some out) that Trump has. He brought up all the rappers that Trump pardoned, tried to act like Trump wasn’t doing anti-black BS& he and republicans werent pushing legislation that hurts the Black community … for low information folks, they just ate this up. Even though he has started letting some of the red pill BS go, this rightwing propaganda was kind of random. Sadly, this kind of thing has been genuinely effective in changing the narrative& brainwashing a disconcerting amount of Black folks into either supporting Republicans, or at the least influencing/reinforcing toxic rightwing ideals.
Bigotry& such in general isn’t allowed in his community,so the propaganda method he’s using is somewhat veiled.
As we all know, of course Jim Crow Joe& the Dem party are bad and corrupt
But wtf how does that give trump & republicans a pass?????
Akademiks isnt alone when it comes to peddling rightwing propaganda to the Black community, but His platform is large enough that this BS is reaching the masses. The others who are more extremist are able to wedge that extremism into that overall movement.
I know Hasan has already debated him, but Ak doesn’t quite have the best standing with his own audience. They wont necessarily side with him and wont overall be unreceptive to Ak getting debunked.
Its just really concerning that folks are falling for this because they don’t know any better…

Hey all,
As of a few month ago, my Quest 2 seems to have started bugging out constantly. The glitches include a total black screen, no controllers (both invisible and not working, although still allowing me to recenter view), a grey void with a non-moving grey meta "avatar", passthrough without anything else (controllers or boundaries, or even menus when outside said boundaries). This usually happens when turning on (waking) the device, but has happened to me out of the blue multiple times before.
When something like this happens, my controllers stop working entirely - no buttons work (except for the recenter view function, as said before) and they become completely invisible as well as stop interacting with any on-screen buttons (such as in the shutdown menu). So far the only "fix" I've found is manually restarting the headset, which has a ~25% success rate if it doesn't activate a different bug.
Before this, my headset was working perfectly fine but has become downright unusable since this all started as it's basically impossible to play for more than a hour without encountering such a bug.
My guess would be that some software patch broke my headset some time ago, although I haven't seen anybody else complaining about problems like these. As I don't think there's a possible manual fix to this, the post also doubles as a bug report so the idiots at Meta finally fix their broken OS.

Hello friends,
While the title seems obvious, I think it's super easy for people to get trapped into a cycle of thinking "have" to be done a certain way, and it restricts their decision making.
One thing that's made me successful through multiple businesses is being able to think outside of the box. The example I'm going to give isn't necessarily something that grew my business, but it did help our bottom line!
Us along with many of our competitors were having big issues with our supply chain the past few years, and were often running out of inventory. Despite this, I saw many competitors continuing to run frequent sales/discounts because that's what they were used to. I would see them with a sold out store for weeks, only to come back with another discount. If everything is going to sell regardless, why in the world would you give away so much margin?
Black Friday was even worse. We had many competitors offering 30% discounts then bragging about how it was their biggest week ever, but then they couldn't sell anything for a month because they were too busy filling orders from the huge sale.
For some quick math, if your normal margin is 45% and you give away a 30% discount, that leaves you with 15% margin. So even if you sell 3x as much, you end up with the same profit as you would have a normal week. Meaning that this sale likely actually lose them money.
We were the only ones who stopped handing out discounts, and yet our sales did not go down. This saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars in profit. Did some people complain? Sure, but not a lot, and if anything it probably made us appear like a more "premium" brand that doesn't rely on discounts to attract sales, as that often devalues your product and brand.
Anyway, this isn't to say you shouldn't do discounts, but be careful on ensuring they're being done strategically and not because you think you have to.

All you have to do is get an old phone (preferably iPhone 6 or above) and download the Alfred app, it allows instant remote access to your print camera, hook it up to your main phone/iPad and then you are set up. Tutorial, position the phone on a non moving part of the printer (above works fine on large models) then all you need its some tape, tape it an any you are good to print, after that plug it in to the wall and your done! Tips: 1. Put multiple layers of tape over the tape so it dosent fall and ruin the phone, 2.Plug the phone in while printing so it dosent run out 3. Use the ‘low power mode’ and in the app low power consumption mode , this makes the screen black so it dosent take much power. I set mine up above the printer away from heating elements such as the bed, this is extremely important as lithium batteries can be EXTREMELY dangerous if heated. Happy printing!

So with the introduction of "Shorts" to the YouTube app, I think it's safe to say that the platform is more or less becoming an alternative for TikTok, albeit with a few tighter TOS guidelines...

My subscription list is a bit smaller than most folks I know, a few comical shows and the occasional pew-pews, but for the most part it's all exclusively left-leaning political channels, for education and independent journalism.

Despite all that, the algorithm of YT's swipe-trap has recently been invading my feed with some predominantly right-wing clips... (And by "recently", I mean literally just in the last few fucking hours alone...)

The clips either star right-wing figures like Ben Shitface Shapiro, or downplay Republican hostility to minorities and the homeless, or glorifyin police, or associating being black with crime, or taking massive swings at the trans community.

Normally I just hit "Do Not Recommend This Channel" in the options menu and keep swiping, but it seems to be retaliating against me, 'cause the more I block them out, the more they just keep popping up with each swipe...

What ya'll make of this...?

Just brought my first citreon, a 2015 ds5 1.6 e hdi daydream automatic.
She looks stunning with the white pearl look with black alloys. A fantastic looking car I think.
What's she like to drive long term?
90,000 on the clock, but full service history with cambelt and water pump and auto clutch changed at 60,000.
Should I be worried by the slightly high mileage? Or can this thing go for a while yet? Only one previous owner and the car hardly has a mark on it inside or out you can tell it's been looked after.
Any tips?

2023.06.10 22:56 Heathgobbo Any ideas on how to fix this?

I got a tattoo a couple weeks ago of a snake wrapped around my calf. I’ve wanted this for a long time and chose who I thought would be a good artist for this, but now that I have the tattoo I hate it. It’s not we’ll done. For one, I think the design gets confusing and weird in the back. Also, I asked for a subtle hint of color on a mostly black snake and I got a completely rainbow snake with a black belly…. Snakes bellies are almost always lighter than the top part. It’s just not how snakes work. I should have paid closer attention to how he was coloring but honestly I was in so much pain I didn’t watch a whole lot and when he was done I didn’t say anything because I had already sat for 5+ hours and was done/didn’t want to sit for him to fix it. Anyway, I’ve spent so much mental energy trying to come up with ways to fix this. Whether it’s tattoo removal, or partial tattoo removal where I get the parts I really hate reworked, or a cover up, or even a black out
I guess my question is, how would you fix this? Specifically the weird shape in the back (can you even tell what it is in the back?), and overall improvement in quality.
