We as a community need to stop doing this to ourselves. CDPR was very clear and transparent about the fact it is going to be at SGF: Play Days, a closed to public event, like what they did with the demo showcase for the base game. They never said it was going to get a trailer at any other events.
If it's at Xbox's event, even better for us, but do NOT expect it to be there. All that does is set everybody up for even more disappointment. I also WANT it to be there but theres honestly a pretty high chance it wont be. At the bare minimum it's going to be ONLY at Play Days. Everyone needs to chill out, before people start to really ger riled up. It's not CDPRs fault they told us all EXACTLY when it's going to be shown, and everybody chose not to believe it. I want to be wrong about this, but there's a really good chance I'm not. If I am, I'll be partying with everybody, but until then we will just have to see.

how to change the crafting speed of the compost heap and crude planter in my server?
i can't find it in the settings.
the only thing i see is "crafting time multiplayer" which is not specifically related to that, but to all crafting.
maybe with pippi mod i can do that somehow?

I have a siamese cat that no matter what I do he won’t stop jumping on the entertainment stand. We have a big Tv that spans the length of the entertainment stand and a soundbar, both of which would hurt him if he jumped up there and fell. He has other spots to go up, too. He has a cat tower, a cubby for him in the entertainment stand, we set up dressers for him to go up on. Any available and safe space he can climb, he’s allowed. But he just won’t stop going to the entertainment stand. I’ve been trying redirection. He jumps up and I’ll tell him to get down with a hand motion, which he understands. If he doesn’t listen to that i pick him up and put him on the appropriate surface in the same area, but he just goes right back. Please help. He is giving me the stink eye as I write this.

I’ve (24M) always been a talkative guy and I’m always stoked to make friends. My wife’s calls me a golden retriever because that’s just my personality! I just moved to a new city with a new job this year and have been doing pretty well with making friends, mostly because I’m talking with everyone. I work with mostly woman (museum) so alot of the new friends I’ve made are a majority girls and the 3 other dudes in the group! We all hang out with each other, grab drinks. My wife will even come and we all have a good time!
A new girl (21??F) started shortly after me and she stopped me in the hallway the day she started. We talked super quickly as I was running late to a meeting, and everything was cool and she was super nice and funny! We had a few more interactions around the office that were quick conversations mostly just getting to know each other! I was totally stoked cause she seemed like she would be fun to have in our little group of homies.
Last week, I was eating my lunch outside alone when she stops by my table and asks if she can join me. I say sure and we honestly had fun and we’re getting to know each other. It was the first time were I really started talking about my life and was mentioning my wife. It didn’t seem like a big issue but after lunch another guy friend of mine mentions he was downstairs near her desk and she was talking about me to another co worker about how I had been flirting with her the past few month and now just finally brought up that I’m married.
That’s what really upset me.
I wear my ring everyday, I know for a FACT I mentioned I was married once or twice in passing before. Again, it was definitely in passing and quick when I mentioned her before and at lunch was the first time I had really talked about her and I a lot.
I have been actively avoiding this girl at work now, shit even making sure I don’t walk past her department, but what makes me annoyed is she’s already started telling people in her department about this. I don’t think it’s serious enough to go to HR and it doesn’t bother me if she doesn’t want to associate with me either. But I don’t want rumors spread about me.
Should I just keep ignoring her or talk to her and set the record straight?? Do I need to mention first and foremost that I am married to every woman I talk to now?? I feel like I’ve never even thought about having to do that when talking to women and trying to make friends.

Bit stuck on what my best course of action should be now that federal payments are starting back up soon. I’ve not had to pay them considering I graduated in 2021. I have been paying the minimum payment on my private loan and after August when I finish paying my cc debt off, I’m using that extra money ($700) to go towards my private loan on top of the minimum payment ($468). I refinanced my private from the devil herself, Sallie Mae, and dropped my interest rate from 13% to about 8% and will keep refinancing for lower rates as time goes on. Should I stick to my plan on how I’m paying off my private since the interest rate is higher and then pay minimum on federal? Also what would the best repayment plan be for me? I’m guessing the best way would to pay as little as I can until I’m done with my private and can throw all that and more towards my federal. Any feedback appreciated!

Hi! I (20M) was in a ldr with a girl (21F). The distance is quite large, around 7000 miles. We were together for 1 year and a few months, I had plans to move in with her or possibly go for a few months to see how we get along. All this time I couldn't because of the money, she never had the chance to come to me because she is much worse with money than I am, but I managed to get a loan at the bank to go see her.
We had already made all our plans, she seemed very much in love with me, we really got along great, but one morning I woke up with a message from her saying that she wanted us to break up because she feels that it is no longer working. We had arguments before but we always discussed the problems and I thought we solved them. It seems that she collected everything until she waited for the right moment to break up with me.
But I don't think it's right how she did it, just 2-3 days before she broke up with me she was talking to me about renting, living together, about what we're going to do when I come to her, and later she became super cold and changed like like there was nothing between us.
She told me that she loves me but that she never wants us to be together again in this life. She doesn't want me to come at all, like whenever I open this subject about us or about coming there, she is going crazy, I'm left with the money for the ticket and I can't even spend it, I feel bad because my only goal this year was to go to her, considering that I wanted this for 1 year of days.
It's been 3 months since we broke up but we still talk from time to time. However, sometimes she is very indifferent, and sometimes she talks to me as if there is still something between us. I really don't know what to do, I really loved this girl and had hopes for us.
I was thinking of going to her anyway to surprise her but I think it's the worst idea considering the fact that every time I open this topic she goes crazy, but she has nothing against talking to me.

Background with H. Pylori and on-off gastritis:
I am a 23M and 1,5 year ago had gastritis due to H. Pylori. Got antibiotics and PPIs for it and got successful eradication. Stomach was fine for a while.
Half a year ago I got same symptoms as I had from H. Pylori, so I got retested for it - but for my surprise it was negative this time. Also the the antibiotics + PPI combo I had has pretty good eradication rates so it kind of makes sense.
So doc prescribes PPIs and tells me to avoid stress and eat easily palatable non spicy food. This treatment helped, after couple of months I drop the PPIs and the symptoms come back.
Moving abroad and accidental discovery of low carb diet:
So at this point I am quite devastated as many of you can relate. I also move abroad and with sorting out all the practical things I got a lazy with following the strict diet and eating in general so I ate one to zero meals a day.
This is quite unhealthy, but for me it resulted some findings. Every time I had high carb meal I would be suffering next night and day and would need something to help with the heartburn / stomach pain. (I'd take Carafate / Sucralfate even though you can't take them in long term) Conversely if I had a "cheat day" from my diet and eat less carbs like meat or fish I would actually FEEL BETTER next day.
After I came up with this realization I started keto diet and I start recovering in couple of days. At the beginning I would have some difficulties with fatty foods, wine and coffee but after couple of weeks no problem with any of those. I have done a food diary and I notice that every time I go over 100g-150g of carbs per day\* I start to feel a little bit of gastritic pain in my stomach.
*so its not even close to a pure keto diet and offers some flexibility.
Final considerations and theories:
I suspect that there is some kind of bacterial / fungal infection in my gut which thrives from the carbs. When I get back from abroad I plan to find a doc and try to get it sorted.
I don't think this is the solution for everybody, but for me it worked. Wish you all the best in healing process.

I have a girlfriend who I love very much but I know that the relationship won't work because we're in a long distance relationship right now and it'll be a long time before she's back and im thinking about breaking up with her because I wanna have a real relationship but she's the type of person who will kill herself if I leave, and I don't wanna let her die but I have tons of horrible memories of her, like one time my phone died and I didn't have a charger and once I did charge my phone I texted her about how I'm sorry I was gone and that I love her but then she did one of those video call things and she said how she thinks I hate her and then she slit her throat, luckily she survived because she had family over and they herd her panicking, but every time I see that scar I try my hardest not to cry, she's so sweet but equally stressful

As the moderation team of Beastars, we have concerns about recent changes to Reddit.
A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader. The scale pricing for the API: $12,000 for 50 million API request. Apollo made 7 billion requests last month, which would put it at about 1.7 million dollars per month, or 20 million US dollars per year. Lots of big numbers, but for sheer cost comparison’s sake it is “only” $166 per month for the same number of requests from Imgur.
Effectively it means that Reddit is shutting down all third-party apps.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface.
This isn't only a problem for users: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.
In response, over 3,000 subreddits have organized a protest to make it clear to reddit that their blatant attempts to prop up their half-baked, insufficient mobile app by killing off the competition will not go unchallenged. What began with an open letter has progressed to a full on blackout of all participating subreddits after reddit demonstrated they were not interested in addressing our concerns with any meaningful action.
We learned that the API pricing changes would also have a profound impact on users who rely on the accessibility features found in third party apps that are severely lacking or missing entirely in the official reddit app. You can find more information about the impact in this thread from the /Blind subreddit.
On June 7th, reddit CEO Steve Huffman (spez) and several other reddit admins held a closed call with a select group of moderators to discuss the upcoming changes to the API pricing model. You can find the moderator's notes of this call over on /ModCoord. Reddit also provided their own notes of the call which you can see stickied in the comments of the same thread. (Reddit's notes were originally posted in PartnerCommunities which is a private subreddit for admins and mods to interact. Reddit gave permission for these notes to be shared publicly.)
There are a few takeaways from the call worth mentioning. Reddit did make a concession in exempting moderation tools/bots from the API changes. They have also promised to close the accessiblity gap in their own app, but provided no tangible examples or timelines as to how or when that might happen. Otherwise, they show absolutely no interest in budging on the ridiculous pricing scheme and seem content to watch every major third party application shut down.
There's another claim in the notes that bares further inspection: reddit claims that the lead developer of Apollo attempted to extort them for $10 million.
Yesterday, June 8th, the lead developer of Apollo posted an announcement confirming that the app would shut down. He also provided the receipts of his call with reddit, completely debunking the extortion claim. I strongly recommend reading the entire post for full context, but we'll link both the transcript and the audio directly for easy access. You can see that despite reddit apologizing multiple times for the apparent misunderstanding on the call, they still went ahead and posted their notes afterwards claiming he had "threatened" them. This is a deliberate act of deception designed to slander the developer and drive a wedge between users and third party developers.
So that brings us to now.
Today, June 9th, spez is holding an AMA to discuss the API. No time has been specified, but we encourage anybody with questions or concerns about the impending death of third party apps to participate. Might need to bring your own popcorn.

As such the course of action we looking to do is:

Where I used to be we’d run initial traverse with three sets of legs on rebar and caps, and anytime we had to sling a new point we’d close it out through the traverse. Turning sets, sight long turn short. And we 3 wire hard leveled everything. My surveyor set a strong standard for how he wanted it all done.
At my new place, it really depends on the PC. Most of the guys resect mindlessly which I was taught to not do. We just rock out with 60D nails for the most part. No 3rd point check, backsight a bipod and get to work. And everything is trig leveled as not everybody knows how to run levels here. I’ve pulled offsets to trees upwards of 30 feet without a 90 glass.
One guy will throw out multiple spurs to get where he needs to be and not close it out. My PC today just free stationed at like a 150 degree angle when there was control 50ft from the truck in a wide open area..
It all feels so sloppy but I haven’t been around surveying enough to know what is necessary, like how much we are charging for what quality of work or what is expected by the state technical standards.

Most genuine & long term SRs end because the SB finds a vanilla. It’s a very legit and valid reason to move on. No harm and no foul.
But it’s a process and question is how people do it and what is their approach during the process and how they treat each other.
SBs, so you are in a good sugar relationship and then you meet your vanilla. You don’t want to break your sugar because you are not sure about the vanilla guy. What is your obligation to your SD at this time?
A) Keep him in the dark until vanilla relationship is more established.
B) Be honest - Let him know you have started seeing someone but want to keep the sugar relationship until the vanilla hits cruising altitude.
C) It’s none of his business. I’ll walk away when I feel it’s the right time or stay if vanilla does not measure up after all.
SDs what is your preference.
D) Be told early and be tagged along for the ride. It’s not pleasant but honesty is valued.
E) Not be told but end up being tagged along and deal with changes in the SBs behavior
F) Be in the dark until she abruptly walks away one fine day.
G) What if you find out without her telling you, do you confront, distance or pretend it’s nothing and enjoy the moment.

Title isn't very clear I'm sorry, let me explain. So my girlfriend and I have been together for about a year and our 1st Anniversary is coming up. Now during our anniversary she is going abroad to Germany and won't be here for a month. And during that time she said she doesn't want to talk over the phone and via mail or nothing so she can only think in German if that makes sense. Because she going there to learn German because she has a serious test coming up next year. So I won't be able to contact her on our anniversary, and she booked this trip 2 months ago knowing she won't be here on that day. But she only recently told me about it. Because usually when she tells me stuff like how many days we got left together I just get sad. Now when she told me about this I naturally got sad but tried to hide it and I tried to encourage her that she'll be back and it's gonna go by fast and what not(also she didn't really seem sad about the fact that were not gonna be together for a month). Now let me also mention that this is a long distance relationship but I travel abroad to see her every month and I'm coming home for 2 months this summer and we are only gonna be together for 1 month.
TL:DR: I'm looking for some advice on what I should do should we celebrate it early or late. Or should we just not celebrate it at all.

Got my IUD removed today. Here is the story time:
I weighed 138 at the appointment to get my IUD put in. I had previously been on the pill for roughly a year and struggled with it. But didn't gain weight on hormonal BC. My periods got way heavier. And I gained 22 pounds. I eat relatively healthy but started working out thinking my hormones were messed up from getting off of the hormonal stuff. Didn't lose a pound. (This was 4 times a week with a trainer plus meal planning- I went all in and was dedicated. I did get stronger but I didn't see any changes in how my body looked) I bled everytime I was intimate and had bad cramps after. Periods became more regular but very heavy. Even though the copper isn't hormonal it definitely effects your hormones. I experienced severe bloating and weight gain around my stomach. I looked 7 months pregnant nearly all the time. So I got it out today.
I've read about copper toxicity and estrogen dominance that can be caused by copper. So here is the list of supplements I'll be taking to help get my estrogen back and hopefully start losing this weight.

If anyone has experience balancing hormones after coming off of copper toxicity and estrogen dominance please let me know. I am desperate to reclaim my health. I'd like to have another baby next year but I really need to get back to around 140 pounds before that happens.
