Hello!
So I am trying to purchase two JR pass for mid May, as I have heard that it is best to purchase it in advance (I actually felt I was a little bit late), but the website only seems to have 1 month available. As in, today is the 1st of April, and it only allows me to select until the 1st of May. I was of the idea that someone could purchase the pass even 3 months in advance, so I am a bit confused. Is this a chance? And simple there is no availability the whole of May? But I cannot select other future months either.
Another question I have is that the website asks me for the "Planned Arrival location", but I would actually want to start my JR pass once I have already been a week in Tokyo (so just before the Tokyo-Kyoto journey, given that it allows me to save a little bit during round-trip Tokyo-Kyoto and Kyoto-Osaka), which means that even writing down my airport of arrival, I do not intend to start using the pass from that airport.
This is the first time I go to Japan, so I was a bit confused!

Will's face is left disfigured and he becomes a depressed alcoholic. Eight years later, Clarice Starling is assigned to consult to Hannibal Lecter, thus beginning the start of the Silence of the Lambs' story. But before that, she visits Will at Florida to know more of the monster she'll be dealing with. This puts Will in a place where he'll need to confront his past again.

Because of the way they shed their skins, snakes were a symbol of rebirth and resurrection. Not just the act itself but Asclepius had a reputation for knowing how to administer doses of poison and antidote, including snake venom, with such skill that he was able to bring the dead back to life. The Hopi & Dogon both use snakes in various ritual today when he was transformed into a constellation it was that of Ophiuchus, the serpent bearer.
The symbolism of snake is wisdom, health, and esoteric knowledge.
Similar skulls were found within Mayan temples, and in the ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt.
Could it be that these skulls belonged to a profoundly wise culture of ‘serpent priests’. The long head must have given a serpent like appearance stretching the eyes and skin. Personally, I think people should stay away from sites such as this which still are held sacred to this day.

So. I have a 10 year old rescue (American cocker spaniel; was in a hoarding/breeding situation for 9 years and I think just outside/not in a home with tons of other dogs) who is very anxious. He has several issues which I believe all tie back to trauma and separation anxiety when it comes to me. I am almost done with the process of getting him to regularly take anxiety meds which really help him during the day, and will hopefully help at night as well.
When I got him he slept in the crate just fine overnight but suddenly started scratching at the door and waking me up 2-3 times a night. I then completely fucked up due to being fed up and needing sleep and decided to just let him sleep in my bed, which worked out perfectly for a while. Several months pass and he now wakes me up 3-4 times a night when sleeping in my bed by whining, gulping water, running around etc. I think that being out of the crate makes him more anxious than being in it. I figured that I’m not getting any sleep anyways so it’s probably time to correct my mistake and put him in the crate again. He now sleeps in the crate through the night but wakes me up very early by whining and scratching at the gate. (Which is better than before)
At this point I pretty much wake up 2-3x a night and early in the morning naturally so I’m willing/able to wait it out but it’s getting to the point where my boyfriend does not want to sleep by me anymore and I’m not able to sleep by him because my dog will whine and howl and wake up my roommates. Right now I am only able to have his crate in my room (due to roommates) but will be moving in with my boyfriend in august and will then be able to have it downstairs in the living room away from our rooms which will make this much easier if it is still an issue. I have my own bathroom which I think has room and am planning on trying to move the crate in there today, hopefully the location change won’t make it worse but I’m sure it will.
He’s got everything he could possibly need in there, gets a long walk beforehand and afterwards, and I make sure to have him in for the shortest amount of time possible. I give him a treat when I put him in the crate and make sure to ignore him when he starts scratching and whining (i have on numerous occasions gotten up to check if he needed more water or to go to the bathroom when he started but neither were ever the case and it just made it worse). In the mornings I’ve been trying to ignore him for ~30min after I’m really awake, very obviously and noisily carry out my morning routine, and THEN let him out and immediately walk him in an attempt to get him to understand that once I’ve done my routine (which isn’t long) he gets to come out/give him something to wait for.
I know I fucked up by letting him sleep in my bed, but I’m trying to correct it. This is my first dog. I really love him and don’t want him to be anxious and I really feel like getting him used to the crate overnight is the best option for both him and I. I am a broke college kid (don’t worry I scrounge together everything I can to get him whatever he needs) and training classes are just way too expensive and I’m not sure if they’re even right for the situation. I’m looking into Petco’s $39 private session where they create a training plan for you as well.
Any tips? Am I going about this correctly? Please help!
