Jordan Boone
Jordan resided in Salt Lake City and was 36 years old at the time he went missing in 2021. It appears that at the time of his disappearance there was very little coverage and the majority of known information has been taken from his family’s Facebook appeal page, which is run by his younger sister Shelby.
Jordan and his younger sister Shelby were incredibly close. In a letter she wrote to her missing brother, she talks about the joys of their childhood, and memories of driving around and listening to Rilo Kiley or Bright Eyes at full blast. She describes him as a talented writer, musician, artist and photographer. Jordan was a caring person; he was an advocate for the LGBTQ+ and homeless communities and would take the time to make sure that people knew how loved and special they were. Unfortunately Jordan had struggled with depression throughout his teenage years and into his adulthood. In 2017, at the age of 31, he moved to Australia with his young family and it was during this time that he suffered his first bout of mania. His second occurred in 2018 along with an episode of psychosis. Jordan returned to America and his mania began to shift into further depression and suicidal thoughts. It is unclear if Jordan was officially diagnosed, but it appears accepted by his family that Jordan was suffering with bi-polar disorder and psychosis.
At some point after his return to Utah, Jordan believed that if he got to California he would be able to find a path to the other side of the world, where his daughter still resided in Australia. Jordan believed he could send a signal to her, and shot 11 flares into the sky. When these signals went unanswered, Jordan lit a fire to a garbage can and port-a-potty, which extended to the brush around them. Jordan was arrested for arson and was jailed for six months, with a requirement to be a part of a mental health programme upon his release. Jordan was due to end his probation on 6th August.
August 2021
Jordan had recently purchased a van that he decked out for camping, and on August 1st 2021 left with the van to head to the San Rafael swell. He had taken his own dog Lily, a Pitbull mix, but also his brother’s dog Cooper, whom he took without permission. Jordan’s family contacted law enforcement in the area and asked them to keep an eye out for him, knowing he was experiencing mania. Shortly after arriving, Jordan’s van got stuck in a desolate area due to flooding that the area was experiencing. Police have never revealed publicly where they located his van, but confirmed that his wallet and computer were located inside.
On August 3rd a couple on an ATV located Jordan and his dog Lily, and gave them a ride to Huntington, Utah. He was described as being dehydrated and wearing a wetsuit, and was checked out by EMTs. One of the attending officers told Jordan his family was looking for him, and offered to get him a room at a local hotel until someone could pick him up. Jordan’s family were informed that he had been located, and although Jordan’s probation officer was due to attend the following day, the family told the officer they were concerned about leaving Jordan alone. Unfortunately the officer was unable to stay, and sometime after the officer left, Jordan left the hotel.
After leaving the hotel, Jordan walked to a nearby convenient store where he spoke to a woman at the counter. She provided some water to Jordan’s dog, Lily. After 15-20 minutes, Jordan left the convenient store and located a garbage truck to the rear of the store which still had its keys in the ignition. Jordan reportedly stole the truck and abandoned it in Price, Utah, where it is believed he then stole a Jeep Renegade. Jordan pulled onto the drive of a private property, which led to an altercation with the resident. It is reported that during this altercation, Jordan hit this male with the vehicle and fled. The male chased after Jordan but ultimately lost sight of him.
Jordan made his way to Moab and attended a Verizon store where he attempted to purchase a mobile phone. This was unsuccessful due to Jordan not having any money or ID on him. Officers reported that they located a structure nearby which they believed Jordan had broken into and taken some water from; dog prints and Redwing boots prints were located in the mud nearby. The Jeep that Jordan had stolen was later found out of gas on the side of the highway at mile marker 21 in Cisco. There are reports that Jordan was sighted walking in Fruita, Grand Junction, Montrose and Nucla, Colorado, but I have no further information on these sightings.
On August 11th, Jordan’s dog Lily was believed to have been seen walking alone on a trail in Montrose County. This was the last sighting of Lily and she has not been located.
Jordan’s brother’s dog, Cooper, was located alive 3 weeks later, approximately 30 miles away from where Jordan’s belongings would ultimately be found.
Sadly, as Jordan went missing in the area of Moab during this time, there was speculation that he could have been responsible for the murders of Kylen Schulte, Crystal Turner, and Gabby Petito. We now know this is not the case, and the family confirmed that law enforcement never treated him as a suspect.
In March 2023 Shelby confirmed that there were no updates. She reported that there had been no official missing persons report listed for Jordan for an entire year after he went missing, allegedly due to some sort of Police error. Despite some strained relationship with the Police, they were able to get Jordan listed on NamUs and the family hired a private investigator, however there were never any further leads as to where Jordan might be, or what happened to him.
Discovery of Jordan’s belongings
Tiktok user (Ryan) @ ry_of_the_desert is a self-described adventurer, posting videos of his adventures outdoors, largely in desert environments. On 22 May 2023, Ryan posted a video of his exploration in the desert of Sevier County, Utah. During this exploration, Ryan discovered some unusual belongings; some clothing, backpacks, and an electric guitar. He posted this video to tikok and it immediately went viral. I’m unable to post the link for Ryan’s Tiktok, but I would highly recommend having a look - he has created a playlist for videos relating to Jordan Boone’s case.
Someone who had seen this video forwarded this on to Jordan’s family, asking if they recognised any of the belongings. They immediately recognised the guitar, which had been customised by Jordan’s daughter before he went missing. The family have since confirmed that all the belongings found belong to Jordan.
Ryan continued to search the area, and found further belongings that have also been confirmed as belonging to Jordan. These include another backpack, a phone, phone charger, lighter torch, and window chalk paint.
On 30th May Jordan’s family drove out to meet Ryan, and he took them to the spot where he found Jordan’s belongings. Ryan continues to assist the family, and has plans to launch a drone over the area in the hopes of discovering more.
He has provided videos with maps detailing where certain items were found, and I’d recommend having a look so that you can get an idea of the location and its distance from Moab and other sightings.
Conclusion
This is a newly emerging update, and there could well be further updates in the coming days/weeks/months. I intend to update this post with any further updates or discoveries.
His sister Shelby wishes to point out, quite rightly, that Jordan is more than his illness, and he should be seen as a whole person with a family that loves him immensely. He was an exceptionally kind and caring person, and is a loved father, brother and son.
The family have always been open around Jordan’s mental health, and don’t shy away from the fact that this played a huge part in his disappearance. The family have always advocated for education on mental health, and their hope is that others may start to recognise the signs of mental health in others and in themselves, and seek help before any further tragedies occur. They also encourage others to spread love and compassion, and have often asked for empathy for those with mental health issues or criminal histories, like Jordan, and to remember that these are real people with real families and emotions.

Hello guys and gals i just need your advice regarding sa situation ko. For background, I am bs arch graduate batch 2018. Last march nagresign ako to take a break but unfortunately up until now wala pa din ako update sa COE at Final Pay ko kaya naubos ang ipon ko to pay off my Credit Card and there is still a remaining balance. I made another bad decision na magtake ng classes for review ng MPLE(master plumber licensure exam) this coming july 2023 to test the water is kakayanin ko na. I will use this as a stepping stone sa pagtake ng ALE(architecture licensure exam) this coming january 2024. But because of my current financial situation I am leaning to postpone my review for ALE para maghanap ng work after ng MPLE. If kakayanin ko, habang nagrereview siguro. Is it the most sensible solution to postpone my review and look for a job to pay off my debt ? Right now, anxious thoughts... I know a made a mistake and I want to make things straight again. I am having mixed feelings about this kasi sobrang tagal ko nang pinostpone ang board exams. I am both pressured, confused, and lost to the point I even think of changing career paths. The last one have some problem with spacing and character amount Sorry for the absence of story for the last two weeks. No I'm not dead, it's just my exams weeks. And because of that, I have to redirect a lot of energy from writing. So all the stories I've developed over the past two weeks have sort of run aground, and I'm not sure they're ready to be uploaded here, yet. But now I'm back and ready to write some more, so roll up that daily disclaimer: As usual accidental copy is truly unintentional

"Yes General Burg, the convoy has just unloaded the... cargo just now" General Von said, looking down through the glass barrier to the cargo bay below where hundreds of yellow capsule-like containers sat in rows.
"Good, so I assume that the assault could be launch in a few hours?" I asked.
"After we distributed this to the orbital bomber we should be clear to go"
"Excellent! We'll finally be able to destroy that annoying little castle of them" I exclaimed. Excited, because finally after months of fighting, we'll be able to seize the last stronghold of the Terran Republic on this planet.
Fort Linsky, a large military fortification built by the Terran Republic before the war on the planet of Oskwa, one of their territory at the time. Equipped with eight pairs of massive railgun cannons, each with the capability to penetrate anything ranging from our capital ships in low orbit to anything on the ground not covered by at least twenty meters of solid rock within the range of one thousand kilometers from its' location.
There were more of them before. But since our invasion, with either brilliant tactic, incompetent opponents, or a pinch of luck. We managed to destroy or seized all the other fort on this planet.
But Fort Linsky on the other hand is harder. Its fortification is enforced not only by its massive cannons, but also by what our soldiers on the ground called 'The Torture Zone'.
First the most obvious one, the giant wall covering the entire parameter. A huge twenty five kilometers long stone-composite wall, shaped like a giant star with spikes sticking out of each end, circling the ring where the railguns take places. Rendering all kind of ground incursion imposible.
Behind the wall there is the 'artillery', somewhat a miniature version of the railguns they're trying to protect. A long range kinetic weapon capable of yeeting medium sized projectile, both High Explosive and Armoured Piercing. Preventing any of our heavier vehicles to get close and deal any damages.
And then there is the 'always on particle shield'. While their counterpart in space is extremely weak, their usage here was proved effective against all sort of our attacks. Be it orbital bombardment, areal assault, or our own artillery or missile attack.
And of course lastly, we have the Human themself. A tough mammals bipedal species born on a level six death world. Raised by wars they have perfected the art of defense, utilizing the terrain and weather for their advantage.
In battle they themselves go forth to fight, in armor suit five meters tall equipped with a large gun and a pile of rockets that can be fired to scorch our troops.
And accompanied by innovative flying vehicles that uses a single propeller to lift themself from the ground, armed with the same weapon hold by the armour suit they become the thorns that've always prevented us from occupying this fort.

I stepped down from my transport ship to the barren ground, on a mountain ten kilometers away from the fort. Just outside their artillery range, and on a such makeshift observation point it would be worthless to shoot us out with their railguns.
"Is everything ready?" I asked to one of my officer.
"Yes Sir, General Borg just sent out the last confirmation signal" He reported.
"Good" I responded just before a flock of officers approach.
"Sir, are we sure with this?"
"Yeah gas attack seems a little too much, perhaps even breaching the Communities Treaty of war"
"And are we even sure this will work?" They asked one after another.
"Hey, do you remember what've they done all through the war? The sight of their armour suit killing all of our soldier? their rail gun destroying our base? I bet they have committed several warcrimes on their own.
And yeah, We're pretty sure this one will work. Our capsules is small enough to slip through the particle shield, and their content... Well gas attack have been banned by the Terran Republic, so I'm sure it's bad for them. And what gasses are we using again? chlorine and bromine? yeah I think they're included in the banned substance" I said reassuring the officers.
Not long after, the time finally came. Receiving the signal from the Borg, we sat and watched as hundred of small yellow capsules pierces the cloudy sky with green tails coming out of 'em. Passing through the Terrans shield, straight down to the rows of troops doing their morning call.
Landing next to the unsuspecting soldiers the capsules burst and released their contents. Thick green smokes billowed from the shattered containers, soon filling up the whole facility with an eerie chemical haze.
We watched silently from afar. We couldn't see individual soldiers anymore, but from the lack of large response or any other movements around the base, I think it's safe to assume we've caught the Terrans off guard.
"Yeah, that should kill them" I said breaking the silence.
"We better start moving now, before any surviving Terrans re-enact the automatic defense"
We jumped into our armoured vehicles, surrounded by around twelve thousand troops ready to captured the fort.
Approaching the structure, we could feel the atmosphere getting cold. The still lingering green gasses floating low on the ground, getting darker each moments as the thick cloud from the ever-closing storm covered the sky.
"Well at least the rain could clean up this mess" I said to myself.
Closing in, now only a few hundred meters, we could fully feel the eerie state of this fortress. A huge ominous dark wall covered in green haze stretched out for miles, accompanied by a huge thunder on our east suddenly halted the movement of our forces.
The frightened troops stopped on its march, shaking on their boots.
'What are they afraid of, there shouldn't be anyone anymore in that fort' I muttered, trying to figured out what happened.
And that's where I see it, no... see them.
Dozen of bulky silhouette, accompanied by a couple hundreds smaller hump lined up between us and the wall. I squint my eyes, the figures standing menacingly became clearer as the green smokes cleared.
'It-it's the Terrans! T-they're still alive!?!' I screamed internally, clenching the iron bars I was holding onto.
The Terrans, on their armoursuits once again challenging our march, but there's something wrong.
Their beige colored skin has grown darker, now with black ulcers and red patches covered many of their exposed area, their once white eyes were now bloodshot like those of an ancient creature on our folklore, and where their mouths should have been, were now covered by all kind cloths with their bright red bloodstains splatred on it.
My frustration and annoyance suddenly turned to fear and horror as my blood ran cold from the realization. They... they're not alive anymore. Me and my troops stand there for a minute, trying to process the sights we behold. The silence continued as fear crawls on our back, forcing us not to move a muscle.
Suddenly out of nowhere a blood screeching screams rang across the battlefield. The Terrans letting out a battlecry as they began to charges. An entire legion of the undead leaping into our position with the classic noise of rockets and artillery soon followed.
"Retreat! Retreat!" I shouted, breaking the stagnant of my remaining troops.
Without wasting a second, the remaining nine thousand troops ran away from the cursed fortress. Racing back to the safety of our base.
Skipping some heartbeats I looked back, to the horror we just made.
'We didn't kill them, we just make them mad'

Little bit long so buckle up and share all your advice :) My husband (USC) and I filed I-765, I-131,I-130, I-485 April 2022. Did some biometrics in May 2022. Moved house (updated address with someone on the USCIS phone line). My 765 & 131 were approved March 2023! Had to move again March 2023 but updated address again with no issues. April 2023 RFE was requested and we sent them off with the extra support documents like impact statements etc. We’re an IOE case number and assumed our case would take at least until December 2023 to be approved as that would be our 2nd year wedding anniversary. Having not been able to leave USA since arriving on my J1 Trainee Program visa in 2020 we decided to pop over to Ireland to celebrate my birthday with some close friends who live there for a week whilst husband also does some work meetings (June 9, Gemini FTW!!). Lawyers filled us in on the issues that would occur if case gets approved whilst we’re out of the country. Checked all month but no movement at all. Well, we flew out June 8. Checked again and June 6 (I swear I checked this in the am to no movement) suddenly it was being reviewed, June 7 131 & 485 were both APPROVED!! Obviously we’re thrilled and feeling so thankful, but also feeling frustrated and annoyed. Yep we took a risk going overseas. That’s on us. The frustration is that 485 is requesting biometrics and have booked me in for 6/30/23- this letter was addressed to our first address when we filed which is on the East coast. We’ve lived West coast the past two addresses and have not missed any mail since moving. Our lawyers are East coast based and they receive all the mail we do etc. The 130 was addressed to our current address. It’s Saturday so we’ll write our lawyers an email and all that jazz. I’m assuming I’ll be able to reschedule my biometrics because I do not want to fly back east to do the thing I’ve already done. That’s all depending on if they let me back into the country. I’m hoping that as the GC hasn’t been issued because biometrics appt that on a technicality I’ll be able to get back in with less issues.
Any advice on what we should print out for my re entry debacle (we have stuff with us but curious to see what people suggest). Also any advice on what to say to lawyer would be handy too.

 | Here I will attempt to break down (some possible) connections that I’ve perceived between Chrisean’s recent comments on Live, and the latest (police report) details that have been revealed about this case. As well as the ways I believe their known relationship history might shed further light on this matter.What do you guys think? Does it sound like it’s all connected, or am I reaching?I’m on Adderall.DISCLAIMER: I’m totally open to being wrong about my theory. I just think it’s interesting to discuss the possibilities. On her Live, she seems to be trying to say as little as possible, clearly, so it’s very hard to fully gauge what occurred. She’s clearly mainly describing/alluding to an episode (and/or multiple) of financial abuse. It sounds like she has been continuing to seek (at least some degree of) financial independence from Blueface, as we’ve seen her discuss in Lives from this past month. Potentially she wanted her paychecks to start going to her directly instead of his LLC, and/or asked for money she was rightfully owed (as we’ve seen her attempt to do on Live), or some combination there-of. And then in response to her attempts to stand up for herself, it sounds like he tried to intimidate her by going into some kind of rage and/or started trying to manipulate the situation to a get to a point where he wouldn’t have to agree to grant her her financial freedom (he says himself that he uses money to maintain control over his relationships with women). But she definitely makes it sound like there was a progression of events that led to her finally seeing the extent of his “evil,” rather than a singular event that changed everything. Considering the confusing details that we have so far about this case (1 & 2), it seems like something more was going on than just a fan recording an “innocent moment.” We’ve seen them be recorded by fans before and have zero issues with it, more than once. Chrisean is known to be very sweet to fans (1 & 2), and Blueface also has a history of treating his fans well. So I’m inclined to believe that the REAL issue was that whatever was being recorded at that particular moment, was something they didn’t want the public to see.I think Blueface might’ve been in the middle of some kind of emotionally (physically?) abusive incident. Potentially related to the financially abusive episodes that she references them having been in the middle of, at the time of the breakup.She’s (TW) lied for him before to cover up for him beating her.As well as told him to stop openly bragging about his physical abuse, but only because it would “make” him “look bad” :D. Unfortunately it’s common for brainwashed DV victims to be in such a deep state of cognitive dissonance that they don’t see how protecting their abuser is harmful to them. Due to this fact, in addition to her known past of covering up for him when he mistreats her, is it really a stretch to think she’d feel the need to “defend him” if someone was about to expose him abusing of her? It might also explain why the fan feel bold enough to say, “Fuck him” about Blueface? And why she was so particularly angry towards him, then and there. I think it’s likely that they realized she was recording something that portrayed him in a negative (accurate) light, they asked her to stop, and she replied, “Fuck him.” As in, “No, I’m going to expose what he’s doing to you right now.” And that that’s what set off the chain of events of Chrisean assaulting the woman (to stop her, since she refused, and good for her, if my theory is correct) and Blueface grabbing the phone, and later jumping her with his team of woman beaters when she tried to get it back. Cause why were they THAT mad that she was filming, if whatever it was wasn’t anything that made anyone look bad? It makes no sense to me.Chrisean also has a history of fighting other women “for” Blueface.She did it with his mom (4:00).There you can see Blueface himself saying the mom was assaulting Rock and insulting both of them and that Rock wasn’t reacting. Until he sic-ed her on his mother like a dog, which he recounts with a smile on his face. It also occurred with his sister, when she tried to pull up Blueface’s house to fight Chrisean for beating up their mother. She’s the mother’s victim, but that’s another story. As you can see (at 1:11:30), in that interview the sister herself says that when she tried to fight Chrisean, Chrisean first ran away and tried to avoid it. And that then Blueface and his crew started beating on her husband and her, when she wouldn’t leave or stop trying to have a fight. She says when she started going 1v1 with Blueface— that that’s when Chrisean jumped in, I presume to “protect him”. She probably felt it would be disloyal to stand by and watch a woman beat him up when she could jump in. But this makes absolutely no sense. Obviously he has testosterone, is much stronger, and by the sister’s account was already winning handily, even before Rock stepped in. So why bother? He wasn’t a victim, or in danger. The sister didn’t even want to fight him, he started jumping her for fun (apparently), like they did to the woman in Vegas. Also, it’s not even a “fight” if one opponent has greater physical strength. It’s an assault. I think Chrisean’s reaction towards his sister is (sadly) a projection of the way she thinks it’s OK for Blueface to hit her when she’s “out of line,” and somewhat still believes (believed?) his victim narratives of her being “the problem” for defending herself against him (and using her self-defense as a justification to abuse her even more severely). And also likely a result of the way he brainwashes his victims to act as his henchmen. We also see it with Jaidyn. Abusers typically “punish” you (with more abuse) for not submitting to their will/goals (which includes protecting their image/ego). After a certain length of time, due to the way human brains process/adjust to “negative consequences” (especially if you don’t realize that you’re being intentionally and systematically brainwashed)— you will eventually learn to carry out their will as second nature. Which is their goal, of course. Also judging by what we hear her say during the second (Petey’s) Live, along with the information that we’ve been made aware of since we first watched these streams: It sounds like maybe here, in “private,” she felt safe to become more open about the way the Vegas situation, specifically, impacted her perception of him. Whereas during her Live, she tried to stick to their more “personal” issues and only vaguely alluded to whatever incident it was that made her realize he was “too evil.” She seems scared of him (remember, he threatened to murder her and the baby). And also probably just doesn’t want to insult him publicly and or speak on an ongoing investigation If she is referring to the events in Vegas, during Petey’s Live— it sounds like she thinks he deserved to be held accountable for the jumping more than her. She says, “Good, they got him, not me.” To me this implies that she sees him as more culpable and/or as the cause of the problem (or as the arguable mastermind of the event?). She describes him within that same context as “the devil.” And says he “deserves” to be in jail (which again, to me indicates that she’s referring to illegal behavior, not making a general criticism). Presumably, again, this would be because she feels the situation was his fault to begin with and that his actions during the incident ended up being particularly excessive. As they always have been (towards women, especially, he utilizes constant unwarranted force because he is sadistic and enjoys exploiting power imbalances that work in his favor), but the difference is that now she’s waking up to that reality because she is gaining self-esteem. She’s no longer seeing his abuse of her as acceptable, which has in turn, affected her perception of his behavior in general. Typically when we gain self-esteem and self-love, we project our higher level of self-value outwards, as a higher valuation of others. Maybe she’s growing and no longer in a mental space where she can justify the evil that she has in the past. And what she witnessed in Vegas (compounded with the financial abuse) was the final straw, and what led her to begin to perceive him as irredeemable. An alternative theory is that he was committing some sort of (other) crime at the time that they were being filmed, but that seems less likely. TL;DR: I think something nefarious was going on at the time that the fan started filming, hence Chrisean/Blue’s uncharacteristically strong reaction.Judging by the vague details in Chrisean’s Live, I think it may have been Blueface enacting some form of abuse against her.What do y’all think? |

 | Played around with the surround camera more this morning and it’s now clear what’s going on: there’s a cutoff line in the front view below which things are mirrored when shown in the overhead view. submitted by jacobn to Rivian [link] [comments] You can see this by zooming in on the hat in the first picture - it’s clearly getting cut&mirrored in the overview, but there’s plenty more picture below the cutoff point in the forward view. I presume they did this to not show the front license plate holder or front bumper in the surround view? Whatever the reason, the current mirroring solution is awful because it tricks/fools the driver into thinking they know what’s there when in fact they don’t. The ideal solution would be to just reproject the front image with the bumper, license plate holder, warts and all. The worse solution would be to optimize the cutoff boundary (clearly set too high in my case, yours may vary), and then blackout below that. But seriously, drop the mirroring. It’s driving me nuts. |

2023.06.10 18:53 fatefuldawn I Finished a No Somniel Ironman Run on Maddening!
I can't believe it.
So a No Somniel run pretty much means that during the run, all activities that are done in the Somniel are banned. There are several combat-related implications of this - no refining weapons (no early strong weapons like a Levin Sword until Ch. 11 for example and can only use base weapons), no engravings, no Bond Rings, no cooking, no activities, no Well, and no Arena. The early Steel weapons that you get upon going to the Somniel from an update are banned as well as the Heroes rewards (the Bond Rings and the weapons, Folkvangr, Fensalir, and Noatun). No Arena means that leveling up the bond rank of Emblems on each character will have to be done in the maps themselves and skill inherits are impossible. Reclassing is still possible, but more difficult now that you have to level up bond ranks in maps and because weapon proficiencies past bond rank 5 will need at least two maps with the Emblem Ring. No DLC either, but that doesn't impact me since I don't have it anyway. And while it's not a Somniel activity, I didn't have Network Connection enabled for the weapon drops, EXP, and other small benefits scattered on a map. I had finished a normal Ironman run with no big issues (one death, RIP Louis), but I went into this run fully expecting to lose it. An Ironman means no using the Draconic Time Crystal, so no rewinding my mistakes and every input I make is final. If a character dies because of my poor decisions or they get crit by the enemy, they remain dead.

Some quick notes - the screenshot on the top has HP tonics already applied to everyone so subtract 5 if you want to see their true HP. That was the first thing I did when I went into the final map and then thought maybe I should screenshot everyone. The screenshot on the bottom has everyone with their Emblem Rings and full tonics applied to them.
In comments below, I detail my thoughts on the individual chapters if anyone's interested (starting from Ch. 6 since that's the first chapter where something actually happened and where I also had a clear goal in mind for the map). I never thought I would successfully complete this run so I don't have any screenshots to chronicle events from before Ch. 24-ish (also, I forgot to screenshot too many things). I unfortunately don't remember the exact details of the early/midgame chapters that well anymore, but I tried my best to recall whatever information I could. Reclassing is still possible, but more difficult now that you have to level up bond ranks in maps and because weapon proficiencies past bond rank 5 will need at least two maps with the Emblem Ring. No DLC either, but that doesn't impact me since I don't have it anyway. And while it's not a Somniel activity, I didn't have Network Connection enabled for the weapon drops, EXP, and other small benefits scattered on a map. I had finished a normal Ironman run with no big issues (one death, RIP Louis), but I went into this run fully expecting to lose it. An Ironman means no using the Draconic Time Crystal, so no rewinding my mistakes and every input I make is final. If a character dies because of my poor decisions or they get crit by the enemy, they remain dead.
Run casualties:
- Chloe: Died in Ch. 6. Fog of war claimed another life. Chloe got hit by an axe fighter and a thief that I didn't have vision of. It was entirely my mistake to overextend with her when I could've just played it safe. I was going to use Chloe this run as an early carry before likely transitioning her to a more support based role if her combat couldn't keep up.
- Yunaka: Died in Ch. 8. Overall, I think Chloe's death kinda snowballed the deaths in Ch. 8. Going into this chapter, I lost a character that was going to be one of my early carries. Lapis was Chloe's replacement, but I needed to get staff proficiency on her just in case I was going to pivot her to a support later (especially since I can't get staff proficiency for a long time after Ch. 10). Lapis therefore had to have Micaiah for several maps and I tried to continue using Marth on Alear on Ch. 8 instead as a carry. However, because of my poor timing of Engage attacks and just being badly positioned because I was unprepared for when Kagetsu and Zelkov started moving, I got myself in a situation that required me to hit a 65% to defeat Kagetsu. Missed the 65% and Yunaka died to him.
- Framme: Died in Ch. 8. I didn't have Lodestar Rush or enough power in general to take down Ivy in one turn. But I had to start taking down her health bars eventually otherwise I would have game over'ed since enemies would've reached the target point. As such, almost all of my units were in range of Ivy at that point and she had free reign to choose whoever she wanted to kill. In the end, she chose to Killer Axe crit Framme to death (Framme would've died even without the crit).
- Celine: Died in Ch. 10. I'm really mad at myself for this death because Celine died on turn one. I calculated how much damage she would take from the armor and pegasus knight on the left if they both hit her and concluded if Celine was next to Alear, she would live at 1 HP. Well, she didn't live at 1 HP because I didn't account for the Resonance damage from having Celica on her. And of course both the armor and pegasus knight hit their 50% attacks. Celine was my only early game carry because Chloe had died. And now she was dead on turn one of a difficult 2-part map.
- Diamant: Died in Ch. 10. Got frozen by Hortensia and I couldn't get in range to Restore him without risking Alear's death to Hortensia's Dragon effective Luin. However, I did forget to have him equip a lighter weapon and because he had the armorslayer equipped, he got doubled by Hortensia and died. I don't fully remember if he could've lived if he wasn't doubled by Hortensia (because there were other enemies around him), but I'm still frustrated at myself for letting that happen. I don't know if it's just me, but I always have trouble with taking down Hortensia in this chapter; on my normal Ironman run, I had to resort to freezing her due to a lucky early Freeze staff from the Well, but alas, no such resources like that exist in a No Somniel run.
The Final Team:
Some quick notes - the screenshot on the top has HP tonics already applied to everyone so subtract 5 if you want to see their true HP. That was the first thing I did when I went into the final map and then thought maybe I should screenshot everyone. The screenshot on the bottom has everyone with their Emblem Rings and full tonics applied to them.
- Martial Master Alear (Lucina): I really like support Alear and having them as the Bonded Shielder has worked wonders in my previous playthroughs. I figured that I would need Alear's +3 flat damage for my carries and since they support everyone in the cast, they provide +10 hit for free as well. I chose to go with Martial Master Alear because my combat carries were going to be in several different class types and I wanted the flexibility to have 100% activation rate on Bonded Shield for all of them if the need arises. I also really like Chain Guard. As such, in early game, I fed Alear experience through Mercurius farming and then gave them Micaiah to get staff proficiency and to farm via Great Sacrifice. By Ch. 11, Alear was a Griffin Knight because I believe having Alear in a flying class in Ch. 11 is invaluable so you can quickly reach the point on the map to trigger Ivy, Zelkov, and Kagetsu to join you before you get overwhelmed by Corrupted with Emblems. After staying a few more chapters in Griffin (until I could give Alear Lucina after getting sword proficiency off of her on another character), Alear became a Martial Master and mainly Bonded Shielded or Chain Guarded. Not being able to Micaiah Engrave a Shielding Art to drive enemy hit rates close to 0% meant that I had to be more cognizant of where I used Bonded Shield. The enemy AI mostly decides which character to attack based on expected damage (combination of actual damage they'll do in a round of combat, how likely it is they'll hit, and their crit chance on you is also factored in). So when Bonded Shielding, I had to make sure that Alear was not going to get targeted and if they were, that they were not going to get killed from it. As such, it wasn't as simple as plop two units down and go to town deleting enemies, but it was still really strong nonetheless.
- Wyvern Knight Amber (Lyn): For Amber, I was particularly cognizant of the fact that in my previous normal Ironman run, he sometimes had 90% hit rates in the endgame despite having a +hit rate engraving on his lances. That's why I decided to go with sword/lance Wyvern instead of axe/lance Wyvern even though it would've been easier to get axe proficiency on him (axe proficiency is at bond rank 2 on Leif while any sword proficiency requires at least bond rank 6, which means at least two maps worth of using a specific Emblem vs. just one). That decision really paid off. Amber was mostly using swords throughout the midgame of this playthrough because he wasn't getting 90%+ hit on lances even while I was activating his personal for +20 hit. I can only imagine his hit rates while using axes... it just spells disaster if a crucial attack misses in an Ironman (Yunaka's death...). If I saw Amber's hit rate really going into the gutter by the endgame, I was prepared to have him switch to Sniper and just kill fliers, but that never ended up happening especially after I used all my Secret Books on him (none of my other combat characters could use them since many of them capped dex and for those that didn't, they were accurate anyway). Amber remained good throughout even though by endgame, he rarely one-rounded enemies.
- Warrior Kagetsu (Roy): I had my sights set on getting Kagetsu into Warrior despite Wyvern being easier to reclass into and still a strong class for him because I felt I needed the absolute best out of my units to get through this run (and I believe Warrior is Kagetsu's best class). Getting him into Warrior was a bit of an endeavor, but having to delegate an Emblem to Kagetsu wasn't going to make the game harder; on the contrary, it likely made things easier because Kagetsu is such a strong unit to start with. Kagetsu immediately got Lyn for Ch. 12 and 13 to get bow proficiency. This worked out for me in a lot of ways because Ch. 12 is an easy chapter so Emblem allocation isn't that important to get through the map. Plus, Lyn on Kagetsu for Ch. 12 doubles the Wolf Knights once you get two Speedtaker stacks so I found it quite nice having Lyn on him. And my strategy for Ch. 13 always involved Lyn on Kagetsu (see my chapter thoughts in the comments) anyway. Now, he's got bow proficiency just in time for Ch. 14, where Ike immediately goes on Kagetsu to get axe proficiency. And soon after, he's a Warrior and just snowballed from there. I was initially a bit worried about using axes at all in this playthrough considering their low base hit rates (I was prepared to pivot Kagetsu into Wyvern and have him use swords if I needed to), but Kagetsu had 100% hit rate with a Silver Axe often. His Longbow was accurate too (same base hit rate as Silver Axe). Overall, Kagetsu snowballed hard. And when I got Roy on him, and eventually the Binding Blade unlocked, he could clear entire groups of enemies by himself (cleared the entire top lane of Ch. 24 himself with just a healer nearby). After this run, I wholeheartedly believe Roy is Kagetsu's best Emblem and it reaffirms my belief that Warrior is Kagetsu's best class. He just hits so hard with axes and doesn't take much damage either. Wyvern's great for Kagetsu, but really, try him in Warrior if you get the chance. He won't need crits to one-round, only a Silver Axe. If he can cleanly one-round a ton of endgame enemies with just a base Silver Axe and no inherits on this kind of challenge run, actually forging a Silver Axe up a bit and maybe giving it an engrave should achieve similar or better results than what I got as I'm pretty sure my Kagetsu is about average strength-wise (+1 strength than average if I calculated correctly, he got two Energy Drops and is overleveled which is why his strength looks astronomical). My Kagetsu was speed screwed (speed and build were lower than average in the midgame) for nearly the entire run because he should've capped speed way before looping and he didn't cap until after looping in Warrior. That actually mattered a few times and it made me really miss having Speed+X on him, but it wasn't something I couldn't work around and he was a powerhouse regardless.
- Mage Knight Pandreo (Marth): After I got Pandreo, I immediately gave him Lucina to get sword proficiency to switch into Mage Knight. He did pretty well in Mage Knight, but it wasn't until after getting partway through Ch. 17 (gave him Eirika so he got bond rank 3 for Bravery at that moment and got the Bolganone that Griss drops), where he really started to snowball. After that, he could consistently one-round a lot of enemies without help until Ch. 20. Unfortunately, that's when his speed cap in Mage Knight caught up and in the endgame, 31 base speed that is not quite enough without a bit of speed boosting from an Emblem considering I cannot inherit Speed+X. In the last couple of chapters, I mostly used Marth (sometimes switched to Eirika) on Pandreo. Marth has some +speed stat boosts innately and can boost damage as well if Engaged via Divine Speed providing an additional attack at 50% damage. Using Marth on a magic unit was something I did before when I played around and used Mage Knight Kagetsu lol It worked well then and it worked well now. This Mage Knight Pandreo's stats besides magic have actually been the least impressive I've had so far. I think his magic is maybe around +2 to +3 above average though (I forget what level I class changed him from High Priest to Mage Knight), which more than makes up for his other stat deficiencies. I'm just surprised he didn't cap dex or resistance by the end of the game when he usually does. Nonetheless, Pandreo was a powerhouse and carried the run like Kagetsu even though I couldn't just send him into a group of enemies without being covered by Bonded Shield and know he'll live whilst taking them all down (unless it's a group of enemies with Great weapons he can double, those are fodder to Pandreo).
- Warrior Merrin (Eirika): Unlike with Kagetsu, I didn't go through four whole maps of raising bond ranks up for Merrin to change classes. That's because she'll probably end up being able to change into Warrior by Ch. 18 if I did that. Meanwhile, if I just waited until Ch. 17 to get Leif back, I would have Warrior Merrin in time for Ch. 19. It's a one chapter lag for a huge team power difference from Ch. 14 through 17 as one of my stronger units wouldn't be able to use Lyn or Ike. Merrin mostly chipped as a Wolf Knight and even when I got her into Warrior, she still was chipping (occasionally, she would one-shot fliers with the Radiant Bow) because her damage wasn't good enough and she was under the level curve. Plus, her hit rates were shaky for a good amount of time. However, I wanted her to be more so I kept feeding her kills whenever I could and I gave her Eirika after I got Marth back. With Eirika, she could sometimes do some great damage with a Brave Axe (and Eirika's damage boost helped her hit some one-round thresholds with a bow on magical enemies, that's how low her damage output was). But once she got access to Sieglinde, she could finally one-round some endgame enemies due to effective damage.
- Thief Zelkov (Byleth): Bought a Short Knife just for him because I didn't want this unlucky guy to get randomly crit if he faced any combat, but in hindsight with all the luck that Byleth provides, maybe that wasn't necessary. Byleth on a covert gives +5 speed when Instructing and after a Goddess Dance and considering that I cannot inherit Speed+X on my characters, I knew I was going to need the speed buff since the speed thresholds get really high on Maddening. In the end, that speed buff wasn't needed for my primary carries (Kagetsu and Pandreo) until Ch. 20, but after that, it really was needed. Pandreo caps speed in Mage Knight at 31 (so with a speed tonic, Special Dance from Seadall, and Chaos Style activated, Pandreo can only naturally double enemies that are at 34 speed or below) and Kagetsu caps speed in Warrior at 35 (so with a speed tonic, Special Dance from Seadall, and while Engaged with Roy, Kagetsu can only naturally double enemies that are at 38 speed or below). From what I saw, enemy speed can reach up to 44 so that Instruct was absolutely needed so that they could double enemies up to 39 or 43 speed respectively.
- Dancer Seadall (Sigurd): I don't think there's much to say about Seadall except that I put Sigurd on him because I only have one Canter to give out and having it on a dancer felt like the most useful. I can't use Override, but that's a small price to pay for the flexibility in positioning for Goddess Dances.
- Sage Citrinne (Corrin): Citrinne replaced Celine's role as an early game carry after Celine's death. While she only really had one map to shine (Ch. 11), she really did shine in that map. I luckily had the foresight to get a melee weapon proficiency on Citrinne in case I needed to make her a Mage Knight. I could've promoted her to Sage, but I compared the stats and saw that Mage Knight Citrinne would double a lot of enemies on Ch. 11's map and that's what I needed at the time. Citrinne put in a lot of work that map, immediately one-rounding the first axe fighter (if not for Roy's Hold Out). I had Citrinne stay in Mage Knight for several chapters as she was my best option for a magical carry for some time (Pandreo was stuck in High Priest for several chapters while having Lucina equipped before he can reclass) and her performance was pretty good. If I kept using her for combat and gave her resources like Lyn, I feel she would've turned out great. But in the end, Citrinne reclassed to Sage once I got Corrin because she was one of my few units that could be in a Mystical class (no tome proficiency to work towards either for a long time) and pivoted into a support role after that (which was my intention with Celine once I reached that point). She was great nonetheless. Corrin on a Mystical unit is a tried and true combo that I really like because it means being able to debuff and freeze enemies in place from three range (especially important now that I don't have Canter), and the Fire Dragon Vein is the most useful one imo. In all honesty, I didn't use the Fire Dragon Vein much to ward enemies off. My combat carries were strong enough that I rarely needed it. As such, it was mostly spammed to raise Corrin's bond rank. But it was still great to have that option in my back pocket in case I needed it.
- Griffin Knight Lapis: Lapis replaced Chloe, but not as well as Citrinne replaced Celine. I couldn't really use Lapis much in combat because she had to have Micaiah equipped to get staff proficiency in the early game. I think I messed up and didn't focus enough on leveling Lapis's bond rank with Micaiah because she had to keep Micaiah all the way until Ch. 11 to get the proficiency. But tbf to myself, I nearly lost the run on Ch. 8 so leveling up bond rank wasn't on the forefront of my mind. By Ch. 11, there was no real justification I could make to try to make her combat work. As like any other staff user, she did her job.
- Cupido Fogado: I was unable to get Fogado off the ground in this playthrough. He was alright up to around when I did Roy's Paralogue as he could still one-shot the Wyverns there with a Radiant Bow even if his hit rates were in the 70s (had to just make sure to have a backup plan if he did miss, which he did a few times); but soon after that, I couldn't consistently find ways to have him contribute and he was left in the dust. I still brought him into the final chapter because maybe some of the chip damage he could do to fliers would help and I felt like I had enough staff users (he actually was helpful in two occasions on the final map!).
- Lindwurm Ivy (Ike): I probably would've used Ivy as a carry if not for the fact that she faces crit from nearly every enemy. Her inaccuracy with tomes is a problem as well, but I didn't need her to chip too often. Essentially, no engravings to fix these issues meant she was relegated to staff duty. She did her job and I think throughout this playthrough she had higher offensive staff hit rate (Freeze, Fracture) than Hortensia most of the time, though it wasn't by a significant amount. After midgame, Ike eventually went on Ivy mainly because I have just one source of Reposition (I really missed not being able to put this skill on most of my support units) and I wanted it on a flier.
- Slepnir Rider Hortensia (Micaiah): Nothing to really say about this as it's as standard and straightforward as can be. She and Citrinne had held a Surge tome just in case I needed someone with 100% accuracy to finish off an enemy (this did happen a couple of times this playthrough).
- Griffin Knight Mauvier (Leif): He's a staff user that can luckily take a few hits because he did need to survive a few in my playthrough. I put Leif on him because Leif wasn't doing much on anyone else after the midgame. But then again, it didn't much on Mauvier either besides being used to Quadruple Strike the Dark Bishop on the final map.
- Sage Veyle (Celica): I kinda messed up because I didn't realize Veyle had access to S tomes in her Fell Child class and the main thing I wanted to do was use her with Nova. I could've saved myself the trouble of reclassing, but in the end, it was okay because reclassing to Sage does increase Veyle's offensive stats. I do miss out on the Fell Child class skill (which is quite nice), but getting Celica Engage back is low priority anyway so the trade-off was fine. Since my team lacked a second source of magic damage, Veyle was helpful as someone who can do a lot of damage with magic. She didn't one-round a lot of enemies, but her performance was satisfactory.
In comments below, I detail my thoughts on the individual chapters if anyone's interested (starting from Ch. 6 since that's the first chapter where something actually happened and where I also had a clear goal in mind for the map). I never thought I would successfully complete this run so I don't have any screenshots to chronicle events from before Ch. 24-ish (also, I forgot to screenshot too many things). I unfortunately don't remember the exact details of the early/midgame chapters that well anymore, but I tried my best to recall whatever information I could. I (20 F) was dating a guy (20 M), we’ll call him A, for 4 years. We met online when we were 16 and he was from another state but we started dating anyway. And then I decided to become best friends with his best friends, we’ll call them F and W. W always had a girlfriend and I would help him with his relationships and F and I would just talk about random stuff. Anyway, so A moves to my state when we turn 18, and then when I finished highschool we moved in together.
Now that relationship was my first everything. I didn’t realize how toxic it was at the time, but he yelled at me a lot for like taking too long shopping or falling asleep during a movie or doing the dishes because he thought I was doing them out of spite. He’s even gotten mad at me for attending college classes instead of hanging out with him and for cleaning the house when he was home. The intimate life made me think I was asexual as well, and I’d get drunk just to be able to do that with him. We got in fights if I didn’t do it with him everyday.
Anyway, so W started dating a girl, 1 year younger than him, A, and I, the same age as F. So now she’s (19 F). They had started dating about 2.8 years ago. They had a lot of issues, fought daily because she let her parents control her life, and he wanted her to help him with bills and stuff and she wouldn’t. Her and I became best friends. We’ll call her B.
So about a year ago, B and W moved into my three story house that my parents bought me for college that A and I were living in. She decided to go to college with me and he got a job down here and they wanted to live together. And everything was going great, I dragged them all over the place to waterfalls and to parks and parties and clubs. I was the one planning everything, I got a second job to buy everyone’s Christmas gifts from everyone, I didn’t even put my own name on half of them, I did everything to make sure everyone had a good experience. Then, A told me that W cheated on B. And I thought B had cheated on him too, because she went back to her home state for a surgery (she left in January and is still there) and hungout with another guy, but I didn’t say anything to either because it’s not my circus not my monkeys. He figured out about her, and got super mad, but didn’t tell her what he did. And he also had sex with her other best friend back in September as well, so he cheated on her in October and September.
Anyway so it’s March, I get in a fight with her because she let her other best friend threaten to fight me and all this because she thought I ratted her out. She’d been not really talking to me and I was just so frustrated with her and done with A because he was barely working, smoking 🍃constantly, and played video games for 8-10 hours a day. So when A would work his 3-11 shift at the hotel, W and I would hangout. And then the vibe started changing, he started calling me instead of B and never really talked to her and we started watching a lot of tv together and stuff, and then I laid on his lap and he played with my hand for like 2 hours and all this. So then we were like okay we have to end things with B and A. Because we were making plans to sneak around and stuff, but we hadn’t kissed or anything like that. After Easter, I end things with A. It was bad, he got mad, grabbed me by the throat and threw me on the bed and all this stuff. Accused me of leaving for W, but I had been unhappy and he had cheated on me 4 times. I finally got him to leave the house and know that we were over. And that night I fell asleep cuddling W on the couch. The next day W and I went on a date to a waterfall. He was waiting to not seem sus before he ended things with B. I fell asleep in bed with him that night, and I remember him kissing me when he thought I was already asleep. Just on the forehead and stuff. He had been talking about how he doesn’t know how B hadn’t started realizing he had feelings for someone else. Oh also, F and B had started hanging out and cuddling because W told him to do it. So W and I thought they’d get together soon. W broke up with B the next day. Her and F planned a date and she blocked W. W and I started going out on dates and stuff. Then B unblocked W. They talked, he admitted he cheated on her but didn’t mention me. This was a week after they broke up, and him and I had already gone on about 4 dates. In total we went on like 8 or so. And had been sleeping together and cuddling and sleeping in the same bed and basically acting like a couple but we wanted to wait to date because we wanted to heal and be our own people as well. I’d been getting lunch with him at his work, met his best friend, we’d gone on a waterfall picnic and gone to the movies and I bought him some cute clothes and Monster energies and did his laundry and cleaned the house everyday. Oh, also A moved back in for a couple weeks to find his own place, realized W and I were sleeping together, and got super mad and threw a whole temper tantrum and said he never wanted to see W again. W had been done with him, so was F. They chose to be friends with me instead because A had treated them badly.
Anyway for some reason I thought I was able to justify what I was doing to B because they had a horrible relationship, he’d cheated multiple times, she seemed like she was going to date F, and I just thought that maybe she’d actually figure out how to be happy on her own if I got her out of that relationship. Now I feel like that wasn’t my place, and no matter the circumstances I should never have started stuff with him.
So after their talk, he started wondering if they could make things work and so did she. He lost his job, and decided to go back to their state for 2 weeks to work for his dad before starting his new job here. He took his cat with him and I agreed to babysit his rat. We still called and sent pictures and stuff like that, but after he got a ticket up there and had to go to court and stuff, he just never came back. It’s been a month and a half now, he got sick and his court date got extended, we stopped “talking” after his third week of being there, he told B about us but I’m not sure what he said, she can’t even hear my name without storming off and getting upset, she blocked me on almost everything, and now I just, I dont know. I feel like I was horrible and in the wrong, but sometimes I’m like well she was about to go on a date with his best friend so is it justified? But also, I should be better than this. And now I just lost two best friends. (He didn’t block me on anything we just haven’t talked really for a bit.) I just wish things could go back to normal. I want her friendship back, and I want him and I to just be best friends again too. I lost feelings for him, sure it was nice while it lasted, and he helped me with some of my Trauma from A, so I think things had to unfold the way they did so I’d learn that I’m not asexual and get over some of my trauma. It also gave me that final push to end things with A.
I did apologize to her in an email, saying there’s no excuse for what I did, that I know I didn’t show it but I still love her, that I worry because I don’t want her to be isolated (she has no friends anymore or family really, because her family hates W for how he made her cry everyday, he even told her he wished her mom was dead and that he’d deface her mom’s grave), and that if she’d ever want to talk I’d be more than willing to be there for her. I don’t know how she forgave him for sleeping with both of her best friends and cheating on her with a random stranger, or how they managed to get into a relationship again after all of that, but they did. I just wish I could be friends with her again, because I miss her, and because I know he’s controlling and the only person he really let her do whatever with was me because he knew he couldn’t tell me what to do and because he trusted me to make sure she didn’t cheat and to make sure she was safe.
Now that I think all the facts are there, I accept my judgement. But what should I do? Should I try again to reach out to hex should I wait to see what happens when he comes back to get his stuff? I’m just not sure.

Hi all. I have been dating this girl since March time frame. We’ve been having great dates, hanging out and having a good time. We’ve both been busy with our schedules so we’ve gone on maybe 5-6 dates with each other
At first, I thought she was going cold, so I pulled back and continued focusing on my own goals. She then asked me out for a date a week before I was scheduled to leave for my internship/co-op job opportunity which reinvigorated the relationship. Now she is head over heels for me. Texting me everyday, sending me cute TikTok’s, asking to FaceTime me.
I am on the opposite side of the country for only 2 months. Afterwords, I am back in my home state (where she lives). I feel that given that she is starting her own career soon, and that I am working too, is it bound to fail? I feel that two months is absolutely nothing. If she does find another guy I wouldn’t be upset. She isn’t beholden to me because we haven’t had the exclusivity talk.
However, it seems weird that given the nature of our conversations and how she sends me hearts, calls me baby, love etc it seems she’s definitely thinking about being exclusive. However, I don’t want to bring it up until I come back from my job.
She’s also updating her profile pictures on the dating apps. I think this is for her to gauge if she is truly getting the best choice. Any advice would be great. My intuition is to play it by ear and not focus too much on the little things.
