I have taken this game back up after nearly a year of break time, which was partly because nearly every second death i had in this game left me with this thought of "was that legit or is this dude hacking", then half a year later wanted to pick the game up again and well same shit. Then 3 months ago the video about cheater in 60% of the raids. Then Bsg tells us they had banwaves and then now roughly 10k cheaters are banned (no idea if thats true).
Back to it a few days ago, i know Im really late for the wipe, but again i complete a few quests, die a lot on smaller maps (so maybe im just too loud) etc. Then i get onto the Shoreline questlines and this is where that feeling arises again, i just constantly die 5 secs into the raid from across the field with 1 shot to the head,eyes/nape.
I know this question has come up a lot, it´s just that the last post is a few months back and i cant tell if anything changed. Do the games feel fair most of the time? Am i just really shit/impatient at this? Is it worth picking it up again at the next wipe?
Maybe to make it a bit easier to answer: a friend of yours that wants to pick it up and asks if there are cheaters.

How should one deal with a lack of respect for time??? Being new to co parenting I find myself in a tough position. I went to get my fingerprints on May 12th. On the 26th of May I received notice that PERSEC had cleared me and I got my FJO.
I got my sponsorship complete email on the 6th. So I scheduled my appointment for photo and document turn in on the 8th. When I got there the security person told me my fingerprints weren’t adjudicated. So he couldn’t give me my PIV card but could take my photo and do another set of fingerprints.
So I emailed my sponsorship person and she verified with the Supervisor of PERSEC that everything was cleared.
I have an active Secret Clearance with continuous evaluation with the DoD so it would make sense I was cleared. What am I supposed to do now? I’ve seen some people said there’s was mailed for pick up, some people had to make another appointment and try again? No one seems to be clear with guidance.

As the title states, I'm looking for recommendations for game offers. I recently did Bingo Blitz and Yahtzee With Buddies and found them fairly easy and decently fun. my dog is extremely food motivated. it’s easy to teach basic obedience because of this. but i’m having trouble teaching her drop it / hold it / fetch / anything with objects.
for drop it, once she sees i have food she drops the ball. but loses all interest in the ball and won’t pick it up again.
same with fetch, she loses all interest in playtime after she sees that there’s food.
without treats she will run for the ball, but won’t bring it back to me. she’ll go get it and then drop it and run back to me.
not really sure how to teach these behaviors without food any advice is appreciated

Hi all, lots of people gave me planning tips so I wanted to return the favor by summarizing my trip, in case it’s helpful. I traveled with my wife. We live in So Cal so we drove to the park the morning of. We did not buy any add ons (like Genie Plus or Lightning Lanes)
Rope drop: my wife and I went straight to Adventureland and boarded Indiana Jones (20 minute wait)
Immediately after, walked onto Jungle Cruise (no wait). Then walked into Pirates (no wait, but broke down for ten minutes). From there, got a churro (no line) and walked onto Winnie the Pooh (no wait).
Walked to galaxy’s edge. Lines were long so went to cantina (walked in without reservation, then left after a few minutes after the stormtroopers came in).
Went to Fantasyland. Rode Pinocchio (no wait), Snow White (ten minutes), the carousel (five minutes), and the storybook river cruise (five minutes). Then walked onto Small World (no wait).
This is when the park started filling up somewhat (around 11am). After, headed to Tomorrowland and rode Star Tours (25 minutes) and Buzz Lightyear (35 minutes). Got a pretzel (no wait) before hopping into Star tours line.
Crossed back to adventure land to get some dole whip with mango chimoy (can’t mobile order, so waited about fifteen minutes and soaked in the vibes). Then snacked on beignets at hungry bear (mobile ordered - no wait).
At this point, rise of the resistance had broken down. We went back to galaxy’s edge and ate lunch at the restaurant (I think it’s called landing port). Food was excellent. Atmosphere was amazing.
Then went to smugglers run (45 min wait). As we neared the end of the line I saw on the app that the wait ballooned to 180 minutes. Meanwhile ROTR was still closed.
After, went to chill in galaxy’s edge. Saw the mandalorian. Walked past ROTR. The cast members at the entrance were letting people in and told us the wait would be 40-50 min. In actuality the ride was still broken. As we waited, many park guests exited the line from the front. Several said they had waited two hours. We waited for an hour and then bailed. I checked the app throughout the day after and the ride stated down for another two hours or so.
After leaving ROTR, we veered to frontier land because we hadn’t seen it yet. We browsed the shops for a while, then went to Main Street to get coffee at Starbucks (15-20 min wait). It was definitely worth the wait because we were really tired and needed the coffee. We sipped our coffee and relaxed, pursuing the main street sites, shops, and exhibits.
After, we did the tea cups (10 or 15 minute wait). Then the parade marched past us, so we got to see the parade. We didn’t have the best view (we were near small world), but we got a pretty decent view of everything and enjoyed the parade.
After, we stopped by toon town just to take in the sites. Rodger rabbit had an hour wait, but we didn’t want to go on it. The new Micky and Minnie ride was not taking standby wait anymore (just lightning lane). But toon town was really cute (spent about ten minutes just walking around).
Next, we headed to the Mark Twain for a sunset cruise. It was a highlight of the day. Really nice ride. Very impressive ship.
Then we hopped off and walked around New Orleans Square at night. Really beautiful when sun sets. Then, we did the same for Galaxy’s edge. We bought some dinner (sausages - pretty delicious and no wait) and then took in the sites. We also checked out the gift shop. (By this time ROTR was reopen but the lightning lane was over an hour wait because the ride had essentially been broken all day)
We ended the day by walking around fantasy land, through tomorrow land, to the front of the castle. We arrived around 9pm and waited for the fireworks show. We got a great spot and enjoyed the show.
After the show, we did some last minute shopping in Main Street and downtown Disney. After waiting out the crowds for a bit we took the tram back to the parking lot and were out of the parking lot around 10:30/11pm.
—————— Biggest tips: Be at the parking lot no later than 7:30am and make sure you rope drop. We got on pretty much every ride.
Don’t expect to get on ROTR or the new Micky and Minnie ride. It’s slammed. If you really want to go, you have to prioritize it and recognize you’ll have to pay for extras (stay an extra day, buy lightning lanes, and/or buy genie plus) or you’ll have to be willing to go on fewer attractions so that you can make it in one of these two rides. You also need a little luck - the reason I didn’t rope drop ROTR is because everyone rope drops it and because it’s often broken down at the beginning of the day. So I didn’t want to roll the dice and risk losing that two hour window where few people are in the park.
The rides are fun but definitely pick and choose what you go on. If a ride doesn’t interest you very much, then don’t spend an hour waiting for it. For instance, we skipped a few rides like Autopia because we didn’t care for that ride. Same with some roller coasters (they’re cool but my wife doesn’t like roller coasters and Disney coasters aren’t worth waiting more than an hour, to me. But I’ve been going for years so I’ve been on all the coasters a million times.)
Instead, one of the best parts of the park is soaking in the good vibes, hanging with a snack, and just appreciating all the immersive decor.
Similarly, I recommend revisiting parts of the park during different times of day. The ambiance totally changes at sunset and then during the evening. The best examples are Main Street, Galaxy’s Edge, and New Orleans Square.
I think one of the best things we did was rope dropping adventure land. Most people rushed to ROTR or Space Mountain, which had pretty big wait times. If you were one of the lucky few who made it to the front of the line, it may have been worth it, but most people probably had to wait a while. By contrast, rope dropping adventure land enabled me to go on a bunch of rides in the first two hours. It took stress off the second half of the day. I also saw that many of these rides had huge lines after eleven.
Bring a backpack. Pack an extra pair of shoes, water, and sunblock.
Lastly, I recommend doing a river cruise through the Mark Twain at sunset. I also recommend getting to the fireworks show at least 30 minutes early, but no more than 45 minutes early.
A final tip - research before you go. Familiarize yourself with the park layout, get the app, watch YouTube videos, and get a game plan. You should have a sense of what you want to do and how you’re going to accomplish it.

A kid on the train has a suitcase by the same brand, as the one I used to pack with a toothbrush and three pairs of underwear to run away from my abusive home when I was just four years old. I had forgotten what my suitcase looked like, but now I remember again. Also, i used to have a snow globe collection until my mother forced me to throw it in the garbage. I loved it so dearly but I wasn’t allowed to “attach my heart to anything” (she yelled at me about that several times) so today i was at a bookstore and ofc they sold snow globes. I picked one up, shook it and immediately had to hold back tears. A childhood is supposed to be the nicest part of a persons life, which even in my case it undoubtedly was. The bar for my quality of life is really that low.

My partner and I have been together for 3 years, much of it during Covid. We were pretty isolated for most of the first two years. When we started to live more socially, I started noticing that how my partner treats me in front of others really bothers me.
I’ve noticed that if there is a really attractive person around, my partner will want to engage with that person as if I am not even there. Even if they are holding my hand or maintaining touch, as I have asked them to do if someone approaches us and acts directly interested in ONLY them, the eye contact and smiling between the two of them is intense and invariably the person ends up standing very close to my partner. Although having their arm around my shoulder, the rapport almost always leads to the person brazenly requesting my partners contact info or asking them out right in front of me. I genuinely think these men either assume they are available based on the body and facial language, or they get off on cucking a short guy. Because by this point I usually stalk off, I’ve never seen my partner accept the number or actually act on it.
It’s especially hurtful to me because as a trans man, I’m very petite and many people think I’m a gay guy and either I’m just my partner’s friend, or I’m someone they can “do better than” (since society demeans short men). My partner is non binary but presents as a femme cis woman and is 5’10, meaning many people judge us being together.
This came to a head last week. I pay all of our bills and expenses and spoil my partner constantly. I took them to a charity event that had celebrities in attendance. We met the drummer of a famous band and it was like normal, where the guy ignored me and got close up with my partner asking intense personal questions and my partner replying all starry eyed. They held my arm, but it could easily have been a gay bestie situation. The guy kept asking for my partner’s card or contact info.
Afterward, I felt really hurt. I didn’t bring my partner to this nice event so they could be a groupie. I asked them if they would want to meet up with the drummer and they said they would do it but would stop the second it became inappropriate. They then swore up and down that they would never date this guy with a ten foot pole. For me this was the worst part, since I definitely don’t believe that. My partner is very hierarchical and status oriented and I do not doubt for a second they would LOVE to be dating the drummer for this band; not to mention he is also a drummer for one of the most famous solo artists in my partner’s fav genre (and you absolutely know who they are and many of their songs).
There is also a history of my partner developing crushes on other people and me finding out. It’s made me feel so second choice, because my partner would reach out to these people in at least a friendly way and was rejected. So I don’t even feel like I was the one picked when they stayed with me.
Also, if this is how my partner talks to interested people, with seemingly no clue that others are interested, when I am THERE, I am pretty uncertain what it would look like if I wasn’t.
I am feeling pretty run down. I love my partner but I keep feeling unsafe and not chosen. I don't know why people assume it's better to be a shorter female. I'm 22, 45 kg and 4'10(150 cm) and it's never once been a good thing. People always tell me things like "oh the boys like short girls more" or "you can wear high heels and not worry about being too tall". Since I was a kid my height has been commented on so much that it's almost unbelievable. I get stopped in the street and asked about my age, and get carded atleast 4 times a week, even if im just doing groceries. cant even buy wine at most grocery stores. I absolutely hate it. So many people assume I'm weak just because I'm small and it's so infuriating. Men and boys have asked me out throught my life and gotten furious with me when I reject them, even though its just that they are simply TOO tall for someone as short as me. They call me shallow, rude, and stuck up. I get compared to a child. I've even been told that my ex boyfriends must have been pedophiles because i look like a kid! What the actual hell? I've gotten badmouthed, ridiculed, and constantly pestered just because of my height. I'm sick and tired of being short. I wish i was tall, so badly. Do any other short women have this experience?

When I was a kid, just getting into tuner culture and the car community, I'd always loved Mazda. Specifically, of course, the RX-7. (FC. The best, no less.) Unfortunately, I never had one. My friends and I run a server on 1.19.4. The server difficulty is set to “Hard,” but we have the gamerule “KeepInventory” enabled across all dimensions. This gives players the freedom to play the game without the stress that comes with the possibility of losing all of your items in a lava pit. Enderman, Creeper, and Ghast griefing is disabled, but villagers and piglins will still be able to pick up items off of the ground so that players can build farms or interact with mobs normally without needing to fear their builds being destroyed.
We have two plugins installed on the server. The only one that seriously affects gameplay is a classic combat plugin. This plugin reverts the combat changes that Mojang implemented back in Java version 1.9. Combat works in a similar fashion to the way that it does on Hypixel; click as quickly as you can and use W-tapping to reset your sprint and combo your opponents. The one thing that we did not revert was the right-click to block functionality that used to exist with swords; if you want to block, you’ll need to craft a shield.
The other plugin that we have installed is DiscordSRV. DiscordSRV allows for the integration of Minecraft server chat and Discord server chat, meaning that you can always interact with people on the server as long as you have Discord installed on your computer or mobile device.
We typically have a server-wide event once every month or two. Participation in the events is not required, but it is a fun way to get involved in the community and interact with others/make some new friends. The events tend to be centered around popular Minecraft minigames like Survival Games, TNT run, Parkour challenges, and more.

As the title suggests, this is an announcement to give you guys a head up that the subreddit will go private on June 12th (at around 9 AM EST).

"But why? What's going on?"

Reddit announced a couple of days ago that access to their API Data will cost third-party application developers enormously, which will kill off platforms like 'Reddit is Fun', 'Apollo' (the developer has recently announced they will shut down Apollo on June 30th but I'll get around to that later), 'Baconreader', 'Narwhal', 'Reddit for Blind' and so on when these changes are implemented on July 1st. Whilst charging costs for API access is not inherently bad, these proposed fees are astronomically high and extreme compared to the cost of API access on other sites like Imgur. So if you use any of these apps then you're shit out of luck.
I can't speak for the other mods but I know that subreddits are only able to function smoothly due to the critical tools provided by third-party apps that help combat spam, scammers, and repost bots which is why I use third-party tools like Toolbox to help. The lack of tools in New Reddit and the Official Reddit App (which is quite frankly horseshit) makes it difficult or even impossible to fulfill our responsibilities as moderators efficiently. Even the post the Admins made a couple of days ago with some updates regarding the API issue includes a list of basic moderation tools that will be coming later in the year even though these features should've been on Reddit already. All this only highlights the continuous inadequacy of their own platform.

Even if you don't use any third-party tools or apps, everyone will be affected by this change. As mentioned previously, there's gonna be a lot more spam that'll be harder to detect on top of porn-bots, scammers and overall creeps that won't get picked up by these third-party tools. Basically, this will just make it easier for scammers & child sexual abuse rings to hide their activity on Reddit. Furthermore, if you or someone you know suffers from vision problems, it'll be a lot harder to use this app as the official app is limited in it's accessibility options which is why visually impaired users depend on these third-party apps like 'Reddit for Blind' to use Reddit, at all.

In response to the current situation, jpegmafia will join thousands of other subreddits in solidarity (modcoord list) and go dark on June 12th (at around 9 AM EST). Whilst we know that we will be joining the blackout for sure, the mod team hasn't decided whether we should only go private for the 48 hours most subreddits are going for or go private indefinitely until Reddit makes a more reasonable change for API costs or rolls back on their change altogether. This is where we would like to hear what you lots think, how long do you think the subreddit should go private for?
Whilst we were on the fence about this initially, after reading the responses in the AMA held by Reddit's CEO, we decided that it was for the best that we joined too. This AMA did nothing to address the very valid concerns presented by the community and furthermore, it doubled down on threats to Apollo's developer, stated clearly that their intention from all this is to gain more profit (ironic much?), and provided only generic/vague responses as to how they plan on handling accessibility after killing third-party apps.
Hopefully, our message, alongside all the other subreddits participating, will be conveyed to the admins in hopes that they will reconsider these changes and propose a more reasonable API access policy.

Honestly, the best thing you guys can do to help out is by staying off Reddit from the 12th. The reason why all these subreddits are going private is to prevent traffic from coming into the site and by you staying off Reddit, this will help out and will hurt the site more for advertisers. Some other things you could do is contact the admins and express your dismay about these changes or get on Save3rdPartyApps and find out more about this situation as well reaching out to the press to cover this topic, anything really that brings more attention to this situation.

We're sorry that this blackout will cause temporary inconvenience to the community but hopefully, this short-term disruption spanning all these different subreddits will result in long-term benefits for the users of this site. I know some people will think that what we're doing is futile and performative but Reddit has listened to protests like this in the past so it isn't a far shot. The whole "first there's sour, then there's sweet" marketing campaign is a total rip-off of "respect the pouch." What's weirder is that ever since Sour Patch Kids started that up I've rarely even come across any Capri-Sun commercials. It's like they don't even air in the US anymore and you have to hunt for Capri-Sun in stores. I never see SPK using the same advertising technique as CS get brought up. And I never hear it get mentioned that Capri-Sun went from a beloved children's beverage to at the back of the shelf, totally decreasing in popularity, while Sour Patch Kids continues to soar and dominate - either. Does anyone else see this? It's brutal. Painful.
