2023.04.01 16:08 ph49 City to sell snowplows to fund Galbraith Gondola
With the arrival of spring, the City is shifting focus from winter weather emergencies to summer recreation and tourism. Today, the City announced plans to sell its fleet of snowplows. Cash raised from the sale of this equipment will be used to build a gondola connecting the pump track on the Bellingham waterfront to the top of the Galbraith Mountain trail system.
After recent mild winters, Bellingham Public Works staff determined the most effective way to remove snow from Bellingham streets is to borrow City of Ferndale snowplows, known as: Golden Eagle, SanderYacht, Jam On and Plowtallica. By borrowing Ferndale’s equipment, the City will be able to sell its snowplows. The City will also start a volunteer program wherein local residents can attach locally fabricated, 3-D-printed snowplows to certain types of Subarus.
The expected $50,000 in revenue from the snowplow sale will be used to construct the Galbraith Gondola. Intended for use by mountain bikers, hikers, dogs, community members and tourists, the Galbraith Gondola will provide an easy connection from downtown Bellingham to the top of Galbraith Mountain, providing recreation access to the more than 65 miles of singletrack winding through 3,000 acres.
“This is just the beginning. After completing the first phase we will establish a coffee shop and a craft brewery at each end of the gondola,” said Arick Jahnsten, Vibe Chancellor with Bellingham Public Works, said in the April 1, 2023, announcement.
“The City of Bellingham has a nationally recognized commitment to biking infrastructure, with new bike lanes being constructed every year. When combined with our community’s support for recreation and trails, and as a draw for tourists, the addition of the Galbraith Gondola just makes sense. The combination of bikes, dogs, trails, coffee and beer is the essence of Bellingham,” he said.
Opening day for the Galbraith Gondola will coincide with the Northwest Tune-Up Festival. Use of the gondola will be free of charge. Operating costs will be paid for by fees charged for parking vehicles at the gondola base: Tacoma pickup trucks and Sprinter vans will be charged $50 per day, while all electric vehicles will park free of charge.
Erica Puce, Wicked Mountain Bike Co-op (WMBC) President, says, “We are thrilled to see the City continue to support the growing local mountain bike industry by providing a no-effort way to get to the top of the world class destination that is the Galbraith trail system.”
The snowplows will be posted for sale on Craiglist, Nextdoor and Facebook Marketplace for as-is, no-warranty, cash-only sale. City staff will meet buyers at the Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods parking lots at time of sale.
The City will accept applications from community members interested in volunteering to join the new volunteer Subaru snowplow program starting on October 1, 2023. To be eligible, drivers must be at least 16 years old and have access to a 2003, or older, Subaru Legacy Outback Eddie Bauer edition.

2023.04.01 16:07 throwRApeachplum98p What has happened to dating apps?
I’m a quite attractive woman and I get quite a lot of matches. I’m engaging wnd chatty in messages and I’m going for average men who I feel attraction can develop as nice personality.
I’ve not had a date in over 6 months. They just stop replying and I’m fed up. I used to be able to get a date every week before the pandemic so why is no one asking me out or seeming keen now?
Even pre pandemic I could get dates with very attractive men and ended up in a relationship with one? I’m still me and don’t understand why things have changed now

2023.04.01 16:07 Ansel_Rover Windows 11 1st-time setup - request for Microsoft PIN setup prevents /stalls setup
So, here's the issue. I just got a new computer.
It came with Windows 11. So, I plug everything in and try to get going on setup. Everything is working; I use an emailed code instead of a password to login to Microsoft - next thing I know, it's telling me to create a PIN since I didn't sign in for password. I don't like this. I'd rather just use the password. But I go ahead and say, "Next" thinking I can always delete it later. Except, there is no next and for the next 10 minutes I'm waiting on a loading symbol. This is a nice, brand-new PC that should not be having this problem. So, I hard restart and try again, this time entering a password. Same problem. Same phrasing - despite having used a password this time. I tried creating a different account with a different email. Same f*cking message. Tried hitting f8 - it gave me a selection of drives to launch from. No difference. I'm currently attempting a computer reset. We'll see if that does anything.
Why in the ever-loving, mother-fcking, @ss of an internet-demolishing fck would Microsoft not allow a first-time setup without f*cking logging into their loose and womanly cavern of a System? (Please forgive me. I'm a little stressed right now.) Maybe I should just unplug the internet and see what that gets me.
If anyone has any useful suggestions, I would appreciate them. My, uh, patience is low and I'm feeling kinda frustrated.

2023.04.01 16:06 Matusz27 Harmful Alternatives. The Experiment Finally CW(Fucking Everyhing)
Soooo.... Happy Fools day!
Bubly Cauliflower this is for you!
Also well, as the title intails this is harmful alterantives, and my general haterade of Exterminators told me they would NEVER let predator go. So enjoy some nice ASHivication.
Also go and read the
actual thing, if you want a good ending~ And thanks to them for allowing to use the story
Also enjoy
Peacful alternative! Whos author begged me not to do it
And don't read this if you don't like PAIN and SUFFERING
It's just me being a dork, and deciding to fry some human tonight
Next chapter of ENOUGH is today or tomorrow if things go well
Memory Transcription Subject: Officer Sark, Venlil Extermination Officer Date [standardized human time] August 25, 2136 I swayed in my seat next to my comrades as our shuttle hurtled through subspace, heading to the coordinates that had come with Predator’s Disease report.
The Extermination Guild had sent an entire strike force to deal with this. Between the horrors that this scientist had apparently committed, her small army of mercenaries at her back, and a feral Human in the mix, my superiors weren’t taking any chances.
Under normal circumstances, this mission would also entailed putting down the captive predator down at any cost, but after nearly two months of the Human race breathing down our necks, we were supposed to bring them back if possible.
“Exiting subspace now!” The pilot informed us over the PA.
I ordered my fellow officers to gather their weapons and supplies while I made my way to the cockpit. The viewport showcased a decently-sized research vessel.
“Hail them,” I ordered.
For a few moments, nobody responded. Then a voice speaking in the Kolshian tongue answered.
“This is Doctor Ka of the Kolshian research vessel, the
Pasture. How may I help you?”
This was the one.
“Hello, Doctor,” I said, keeping my voice friendly. “I am Extermination Officer Sark of the Venlil Republic. We recently received a report of an individual onboard your ship who has been afflicted with Predator’s Disease. Please power down your engines and prepare docking sequences.”
There was no response.
“Doctor Ka?”
The officer manning the sensors spoke up.
“Sir, they’re powering up their hyperdrive!”
“Deploy FTL-disruptors, immediately!”
Thankfully, we reacted in time and the Doctor resorted to burning her sublight engines at full power and taking a few wild potshots at us.
“Follow them and hit their engines!”
The chase was short and our military-grade shuttle easily overpowered the civilian vessel.
“Doctor Ka, prepare to be boarded.”
I whipped around and joined my comrades as the shuttle docked. The
Pasture’s airlock had been sealed, forcing us to spend a few minutes using plasma cutters to slice our way through the blast door. I raised my gun and readjusted my flamethrower on my back as the door finally toppled inward. I ducked away as a storm of bullets sprayed through the breach, one nailing Morop in the head. It was a good thing we’d brought so many officers.
The mercenaries, while certainly skilled, had no chance against a strike force of dozens of highly-trained Exterminators and quickly fell to our assault. I led my team through the ship, putting down any resistance along the way until I reached the bridge. After neutralizing the guards, I burst into the room to find a bunch of surrendering staff and officers, but no sign of Ka.
“Where’s the Head Doctor?” I demanded.
“She said that she was going to hide in the observation room,” one of them said.
“Take me.”
He swallowed and nervously led me to the doctor’s location.
“If you’re fucking with me, I’ll throw you out of an airlock.”
They gulped and stammered about how they’d never try to trick me. They stopped outside a door and coughed. Next to me, Officer Monrew wrinkled his nose.
“What’s the matter?” I asked the Gojid.
“It smells like… rotting meat.”
Monrew had a lot of experience with the aftermath of predator attacks, so it was no surprise that he knew what that smelled like. I inwardly cursed whatever higher power for deciding that us Venlil didn’t need a sense of smell.
They had a sick sense of humour if there was one.
I holstered my gun and took out my flamethrower, signalling for the rest of my team to do the same. The Human was kept in here if I recalled correctly and might’ve gotten loose in the chaos. I’d try to avoid killing it, but it will be hard.
Officer Sudeflen, being a Mazic, easily knocked down the locked door, allowing us to spill inside. There was no one inside. I flinched when I saw movement behind the nearly opaque glass that divided the room. Was that the-
More movement to my side made me turn my flamethrower to meet a Kolshian with a pistol in her hands rising up from behind a stack of crates. For a split-second, neither of us moved. Her tentacle twitched. In a panic, I lashed out and swatted the weapon from her grasp as a shot rang out and embedded itself in the ceiling. She tried to dive for the gun, only for Sudeflen to snag her with her trunk and pin her to the floor with an impossible-to-move foot.
“It’s over, Ka. Stop fighting,” I said.
The Predator Diseased woman huffed in defeat and fell limp, allowing me and Monrew to cuff her.
“Where’s the Human?”
She blinked in surprise.
“How-”
“Doesn’t matter. Where is it?”
She jabbed her tail to the opaque glass wall. A metal door to the side had been shut tight. At least the psycho scientist hadn’t been foolish enough to let it run amok. A console in the middle of our side of the room displayed a few options. I pressed the button to make the glass transparent and gasped in horror.
A dark-furred, Venlil child lay on the floor with a…
monster roughly shaking the poor thing. The predator’s tattered shirt was
covered in blood of different hues and there was a crazed look in its eyes.
I heard its muffled voice from behind the glass. I had to put this thing down before it could kill anyone else. I tightened my digits around my flamethrower.
“Sir? What are your orders?”
“Call a medic, now! That child doesn’t look too good. I’ll deal with the predator”
As I waited for help to arrive, the Human suddenly flicked its uncanny gaze onto me, making me stumble back a few steps. Hunger filling its eyes as it studied me.
It must have no sense of time and it was put through horrible experiments, while being fed people, it knows how we taste now. If we bring it back it will tell others what a delight we are, and they won’t be able to control themselves anymore.
From its perspective, we weren’t the noble Extermination Officers. We were food that just came in while it starves.
I pressed another button on the console and heard the door unlatch. The Human’s eyes widened and it scrambled backwards into a corner, carefully dragging the Venlil with it.
“Sir! What are you-”
“Hush!”
I stepped into the cell holding my flamethrower tight. On the other side of the glass, my squad mates were staring at me in shock, no doubt waiting for the vicious predator who couldn’t even stand to rip me to shreds.
The Human squeezed itself against the wall as I drew closer. Before I can deal with it, I need to remove the child, it seems to be still alive.
It was terrified to be certain, but Humans were naturally more aggressive than any prey species, and this one was feral.
I stopped as one of its hands curled into a shaking fist. My heart rate spiked as I looked at the disgusting monster, just need free the kid from it grasp and I can have it over with.
I reached for the battered body, but it snarled and growled at me! So… getting it’s food out of its clutches wasn’t going to be that easy. I looked at the kid orange blood leaked from multiple wounds. A fresh wave of disgust washed over me.
I can’t flame them both! The kid is still breathing it can be saved! The beast was looking at me in terror as it should. Soon it will be all over for both us. I end the suffering of your existence soon.
“Sark! What in the name of the Great Protector are you doing!?”
I snapped my head up to focus on a Gojid medic by the name of Visin, startling the Human and making her gasp.
“Wait outside! I am not done! Just need to get the kid out”
The human seemed to calm a little seeing Visin, odd, I guess more food means it won’t starve as easily.
Visin looked at me worried but complied, shooting nervous glances at the Human.
I reached for the kid again, this time no growls, good. Just let me take your snack away and we will be able to take care of you. My paws softly warping around the little battered body before I pulled it away from the human, it didn’t seem angry that her food had been taken away, with confused me.
I moved back and put the little Venlil outside the cell, watching the human stay in the corner, while I primed the flamer.
Now. Time to deal with the Predator.
I re-entered the cell, looking with disgust at the blood covered Predator, eating children. Well, it must be suffering quite immensely right now, what about I free it from it?
A glow of the flame illuminated the room, as I walked forward, I could hear the human yelp in terror. So they are afraid of fire. Good to know.
It didn’t even attempt lunging at me, despite knowing its fate, a ear pricing shirk filled the room, as the flame licked it’s body. Catching the fur and artificial pelt on fire.
A smidge of empathy run trough me, maybe I should just shoot it. Still it was against protocol to do so if the predator wasn’t actively lunging at you.
The screams continued, as the body started to melt, I caught a surprising glint on Ka’s face. Well, we deal with her later.
The smoke filled the room, the screams quietening, as the body of the beast slowly shrunk and curled up, the heat finally shutting down it’s organs. A fate worthy of a predator.
The humans burn their dead anyway, so we just scoop up whatever remains and said we couldn’t have done anything. A little lie won’t harm anybody.
-------------------------------
Officer Sark’s Personal Journal The Human remains were returned to the UN shortly after. The UN was dismayed about us pacifying the predator, but they did received note “she” attacked us and was about to stab one of our members so they relented.
We send all of the documents relating to “Experiment 173” to the Venlil government for processing before it can be returned to the humans.
Doctor Ka was put trough standard tests to see how true the Predator Disease claims were, despite the tortures acts and usage of stamped victims she seemed to have no underlining Brain defects, her name will be scraped from the records and she will be transported to one of the remote predator testing labs.
The child recovered, but seemed confused when we told them what happened. They argued the predator was protecting it, definite deletions from stress, they also seemed to have no fear towards the predators anymore. Defiantly the encounter must have triggered dormant Predator Disease. They were send over for tests, we will see the results in few days.
The predator will never torment anyone ever again.
I never did find out who our contact was though.

2023.04.01 16:06 Iliketrucksandguns Where does it say we are REQUIRED to install batteries, lights, or wipers?
Some people i dislike and refuse to help.(Karens and such) last week a woman called 3 hours to close and came in 20 minutes to close looking for a battery install. Its pitch black and raining and i told her to come back in the morning. My manager called me on my day off to ask why. I said im not going out in the dark or rain.im not gonna work on someones car while im closing and possibly break or lose something and take 40 minutes. He says we do installs as long as the doors are open. I want to see where it says we are required to do installs. Certain vechiles we cannot work on, like a traverce or a Sebring. So why not those and some we are forced to?

2023.04.01 16:06 DifficultTutor3027 18F For those of you (especially other girls/women) trying to make genuine friends, here are some ways to stay safe [chat]
It's really just one method, but I've found it particularly useful for screening out the not so great people on here. I thought I'd make this post for anyone who still thinks it's worth it to use this place. I had hopes, but like everywhere you go on reddit/online in general, it's filled with a bunch of cr*eps and w*irdos. For the guys that think it's unfair that we get so many replies and you don't, just know that when we finally screen out everyone, there are very few decent people messaging us.
Just one note, this might not work on users who have very new accounts, but the ones that are older than that you can verify. Sometimes it messes up so some users might not work fyi. It will show deleted comments and posts and the original text.
If you look up "reddit search" on google, one of the results should be something called unddit (camas (dot) unddit (dot) com). I'm not putting the link directly but you're welcome to search it up and decide for yourself if you want to use it. Once you get there, you don't have to do anything besides putting the user name into the author field, and selecting whether you want to see past comments or posts. You'll have to select each separately to see both.
Good luck! I highly recommend not putting yourself through the pain in the a** this site is, but if you insist, stay safe out there!

2023.04.01 16:06 BabyYoduhh UTB18 Capra Shock Advice/Lowering
I am new to the hobby and own a Utb18 but I’m curious about lowering it. I figure I don’t mind upgrading the shocks at the same time. Though I am not really 100% sure how it all works. I could get shock size which I assume would lower the car, but also limit the travel. The other option I am just guessing is shorter springs? Which will just have the car sit lower but preserve length of shock travel. Could anyone help me out with how to balance between these? Price isn’t really a big deal. I bought the Capra planning on building it up even though some people criticize it. Thanks!!
Future questions I plan on posting if anyone else has other advice: Wheels tires? Motor esc?
Any other notable info about the OTB18.
I love tinkering with RC and I’m older so I get to drive with my friends a lot less than I get to tinker so this is part of the fun for me. Thank you for any info!

2023.04.01 16:03 DiamondDesserts What to prepare for and how
Hi! I am a new parent to a 3-month old, and cloth diapering is going so surprisingly well that I wanted to get a leg-up (mentally and/or practically) on the next hurdles to expect. We have enough diapers in our stash to wash every three days, the diapers come out clean and fresh-smelling, we hardly ever have leaks, LO is healthy, and we have figured out diapering on-the-go. I am honestly shocked at how easy it has been. We have our first big trip planned later this month, but plan to use the disposables that we were gifted for a few reasons, one of them being that I don't think we can realistically do cloth while away. That said, what should we be prepared for next as baby grows? I am actually so scared to be starting solids, since I know things are going to get more difficult. Is there anything that I can prepare for now? Anything that I should look into purchasing/acquiring?

2023.04.01 16:03 greg0525 Untold Story
It's not uncommon to fantasize about having a different life than the one we currently live. We might dream of being a successful entrepreneur, a famous musician, a world traveler or a bestseller writer. However, when we become too fixated on these desires, we can lose sight of the reality of our current circumstances. Life is a journey, and we all have our own unique paths to follow. By accepting our reality and making the most of it, we can find happiness and fulfillment, if not right now, then sooner or later. David also had dreams of another life but that life remains an untold story.
×××
David sat in his study, bleary-eyed and exhausted from staying up all night to meet his book deadline. The pressure had been immense, and he had worked tirelessly to ensure that every page was perfect. As he sat there, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him now that it was finally done.
Suddenly, his wife Mia walked in carrying a steaming cup of coffee. "Good morning, honey," she said with a smile. "How's it going? Are you finished?"
David looked up at her, his eyes filled with a mixture of exhaustion and pride. "I did it," he said, his voice hoarse from lack of sleep. "I finished the book."
Mia's face lit up with excitement. "Oh, David, that's amazing!" she exclaimed, setting the coffee down on the desk. "I'm so proud of you."
David smiled weakly, feeling a surge of gratitude towards his wife. "Thanks, Mia," he said, reaching out to take the coffee. "I couldn't have done it without you."
Mia leaned down and kissed him on the forehead. "Of course you could have," she said, her voice soft and reassuring. "But I'm glad I could help."
David took a sip of the coffee, savoring the warmth and caffeine. "I just hope it's good enough," he said, feeling a twinge of uncertainty. "I worked so hard on it, but what if it's not what they're looking for?"
Mia placed a comforting hand on his shoulder and read the first lines:
DI Chris Cole sat surrounded by papers, wishing he could just throw them all away. He had thirty minutes to finish a report on a closed case of domestic violence before he could leave his desk. Meanwhile, Chief DI Robert Brown found Cole's meticulousness frustrating but admired his interrogation skills. As Cole was almost done, a woman entered his office, seeking help in finding her missing daughter, Amy Norman.
"David, it's going to be great," she said firmly. "You poured your heart and soul into this book, and it shows. Any anyway, who couldn’t like DI Chris Cole? He is such a loveable character!"
David looked up at her, feeling a renewed sense of confidence. "Thanks, Mia," he said again, his voice stronger this time. "You're the best."
Mia grinned at him. "I know," she said playfully, before turning to leave. "But seriously, I have to get going. Don't forget to take a nap later, okay?"
David chuckled as she walked out the door. "I won't," he promised, feeling a sense of gratitude and love toward his supportive wife. With a newfound sense of energy, he turned back to his manuscript, excited to see where his hard work would take him.
But at that moment, he was struck by a sudden, terrible headache. It was something that he had been experiencing lately - a pounding, searing pain that seemed to be concentrated in the center of his forehead.
He closed his eyes and focused on the pain, pushing it away by pushing everything else out. But images flared behind his eyelids: himself, surrounded by a battle-worn unit of men in brown desert camouflage, moving forward into the burning sun. These visions were slow and faded as they came, like remnants of dreams that had been long forgotten. The smell of guns, oil, smoke and sweat was like heavy perfume.
He had no idea where they had come from or what they meant, but he knew that something was very wrong.
"David, your headaches again?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.
"Yes, but...I don't know what to do," he said, his voice strained. "It's like they're getting worse."
Mia's face softened with empathy. "We'll figure it out," she said firmly. "Maybe it's time to go see a doctor. They might be able to help."
David shook his head, feeling a sense of dread at the thought of going back to the hospital. "I don't want to," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I think it’s just the stress."
Mia looked at him with concern. "David, you can't just ignore this," she said, her voice firm but gentle. "You need to take care of yourself. You know that."
David sighed, feeling defeated. "I know, I know...I will see a doctor,” he said and Mia placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.
Joseph Smith worked in a massive office building, surrounded by towering skyscrapers and bustling city streets. His office was located on the top floor, with a view that stretched out over the entire city. Whenever David came to visit him, he always felt a sense of awe at the sheer scale of the place.
As David walked into Joseph's office, he was greeted with a warm smile. Joseph stood up from his desk and walked over to greet him, his hand outstretched in welcome.
"David, my friend, can’t wait to read the latest story about DI Cole!”
Joseph took the manuscript from him, flipping through the pages with a keen eye.
“DI Chris Cole sat surrounded by papers, wishing he could just throw them all away. He had thirty minutes to finish a report on a closed case of domestic violence before he could leave his desk. Meanwhile, Chief DI Robert Brown found Cole's meticulousness frustrating but admired his interrogation skills. As Cole was almost done, a woman entered his office, seeking help in finding her missing daughter, Amy Norman,” as he read, his expression grew more and more excited, until he was practically beaming with joy.
"David, this is fantastic!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "This is going to be another great success, I just know it. I just can’t wait for the book launch! Think about it buddy, hundreds of eager readers will be attending the great event!”
David felt a surge of gratitude and relief wash over him. He had worked so hard on the manuscript, pouring his heart and soul into every word. To hear what Joseph had just said meant the world to him.
"Thank you, Joseph," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "That means so much to me.”
Joseph smiled at him, patting him on the back. "You deserve it, my friend," he said, before walking over to his desk and pouring them both a glass of scotch. "Now let's celebrate!"
David took the glass from Joseph but he accidentally dropped the glass of whiskey. He had another terrible headache and the visions came back.
The heat was oppressive, bearing down on them like a heavyweight. David huddled in a ditch with two other soldiers - a man and a woman. They were surrounded by the unforgiving desert, with no cover except for the deep, rocky depression they had found themselves in.
The ditch was long and deep, full of mud, sand, and the shattered remnants of war. Bullets were flying overhead, soldiers run back and forth across the landscape. Smoke and flames marred the horizon. The walls of the ditch were stained with dried blood and littered with weapons and discarded supplies.
The sounds of battle filled the air - bullets whizzing past, cannons exploding, shouting voices of commanders and soldiers alike, distant screams of those in pain. The ground shook underfoot with every explosion and it felt as if the world was coming apart at its seamed.
“Where the hell am I? What’s happening?” David asked in confusion.
“Shut up David, this is not a good place to joke around now!” the woman shouted at him.
David was suddenly jolted by the sound of gunfire. Before he could react, he saw a soldier fall into the ditch next to him, blood spreading rapidly across his uniform. Fear gripped David's heart, and he was overcome with terror at the sight of the fallen soldier.
“Are you all right, buddy?” Joseph asked with worry on his face.
“Yeah, I’m just... these damn headaches,” David replied leaning to the drinking bar.
Joseph then advised him to go home and a rest. Upon arriving home, Dave made his way to his bedroom and settled into bed. He closed his eyes and drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
As he slept, his mind and body rejuvenated, allowing him to wake up feeling refreshed and energized.
As the evening drew near, David eagerly awaited his wife Mia's arrival. When she finally came through the door, he rushed to greet her, wrapping his arms around her in a tight embrace.
"Hey beautiful," he said, his voice filled with love.
"How was your day?" Mia smiled up at him, her eyes shining with happiness.
"It was good," she said, before leaning in to give him a tender kiss.
"I'm just so excited about your book launch." David felt a surge of pride and joy at her words.
"Thanks," he said, his voice filled with gratitude. "I couldn't have done it without you." They spent the rest of the evening together, enjoying a cozy family dinner with their son Carl. As they sat around the table, David couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over him. He had everything he could ever want - a loving wife, a beautiful son, and a successful career.
Later that night, as David and Mia lay in bed together, they began to make love. David felt a rush of passion as they kissed and touched, his body responding eagerly to hers. But as they moved together in a frenzy of desire, David suddenly felt the familiar, searing pain in his head. He tried to ignore it, pushing past the discomfort and focusing on the pleasure of their lovemaking. But the pain only grew worse, until it was a throbbing ache that seemed to consume him completely. He gasped in agony, his body shaking with spasms. Mia looked up at him, her expression filled with concern.
"David, what's wrong?" she asked, her voice laced with worry. David tried to speak, but the pain was too intense. He clutched his head, feeling like his brain was on fire.
"Mia...I...the headache..." he managed to gasp out before everything went black.
The air was filled with the sound of screaming bullets and explosions, rattling metal scraping against dirt and rocks as soldiers move along its sides. It echoed with sorrowful cries, a chorus of desperation and despair, a reminder of the violence that lay just beyond the rim of its walls.
As the sounds of gunfire echoed around them, they huddled together, trying to come up with a plan. But no matter how the man and the woman looked at it, there seemed to be no way out. The enemy was closing in, their weapons raining down a deadly hail of bullets that kept them pinned down.
“Where the hell am I?” David demanded.
“David! What the fuck is wrong with you?”
“I have just been in bed with my wife!”
"David, you need to pull yourself together!" the man muttered, his voice strained with desperation.
"Look buddy, I can understand that you are in shock right now but you can’t just sit here and wait for them to kill us."
The woman shook his head, his face was grim. "We can't counterattack," the woman interrupted. "We're outnumbered and outgunned. It's suicide."
She looked up at the sky, scanning for any sign of help. "We need air support," she said, her voice tense. "We have to hold out until they get here."
“Look, I don’t know how I got here but I don’t want to be part of this! If this is a secret government experiment, I will reveal this all to the whole world!” Dave shouted.
“Whatever man, just don’t die for now, okay?” the man replied.
But time seemed to stretch on endlessly, with no relief in sight. The sun beat down on them, making them feel like they were being baked alive. The sound of gunfire was constant, a never-ending barrage that seemed to be closing in on them with every passing moment.
David slowly opened his eyes, trying to remember where he was. He saw his wife Mia sitting beside him, looking at him with concern.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" Mia asked, holding his hand.
David tried to sit up, but he felt a sharp pain in his head. "The headache again," he said, groaning.
Mia put a hand on his forehead. "You were unconscious for a while, we had to take you to the hospital. The doctor said they need to run some tests."
David's heart raced as he heard this. "Tests? What tests?"
Mia looked at him sympathetically. "Don't worry, they just want to make sure you're okay. The doctor will be here soon to talk to you."
Just then, a doctor walked into the room. "Mr. Johnson, I have some good news. Your brain looks fine, all the tests came back normal."
David let out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness. So what was causing my headaches?"
The doctor smiled. "It looks like it was just stress. You've been working long hours lately, and it's taken a toll on you. I suggest taking it easy for a while, maybe taking some time off work."
Mia looked at David, concern etched on her face. "You heard the doctor, honey. We'll take care of you, okay?"
David nodded, grateful for his wife's support. "Okay, but there is one more thing. Sometimes I hallucinate during my attacks. They are very vivid, it’s like I am in someone else’s body in an entirely different place."
“Well, migraines are thought to be caused by changes in blood flow and activity in the brain. During a migraine, blood vessels in the brain can constrict and then dilate, leading to changes in blood flow and activity in certain areas of the brain. These changes can affect the way that the brain processes visual and auditory information, leading to the perception of hallucinations. So I would say this is still normal. I will prescribe something for you that can alleviate the pain and help you feel better,” the doctor explained.
“Thank you, doctor.”
Mia helped him get dressed and they headed out of the hospital. As they walked to the car, David couldn't help but feel grateful for his wife's love and care.
"I'm lucky to have you," he said, smiling at Mia.
Mia smiled back. "I'm lucky to have you too. Let's go home and relax."
David nodded, feeling a sense of peace wash over him. As they drove home, he knew he would take the doctor's advice and take some time off work. He now needed to focus on his health, his family, and his upcoming book launch.
After some time of final preparations, the much-awaited preliminary book launch for David's novel, The Swan Lake Murder, finally took place. Avid readers gathered in droves to catch a glimpse of the author and get their hands on his new release.
The book launch was set to take place at the renowned British Library in St. Pancras, one of the largest libraries in the world, boasting an impressive collection of over 170 million items. David felt a sense of pride and anticipation as he arrived at the library in a luxurious limousine arranged by his agent.
As he stepped out of the vehicle, he was greeted by the sight of numerous posters and huge advertisements promoting his book. The excitement of his fans was palpable, and the air was filled with the sound of cheers and applause and questions from the reporters. David felt a sense of accomplishment and gratitude for the support of his readers, which motivated him to continue writing and pursuing his passion for literature.
David smiled, feeling a sense of fulfillment wash over him. It had been a long journey, but he had finally made it. And with his fans by his side, he knew that there would be many more journeys to come.
Mia rushed over to him, tears of pride and joy in her eyes.
"I'm so proud of you," she whispered, giving him a tight hug.
As David stepped onto the stage, the flash of cameras blinded him momentarily, but he felt the energy of the crowd as they cheered and clapped for him. Mia was standing off to the side, beaming with pride.
"Thank you all so much for coming," David said, addressing the crowd. "I'm so grateful for all of you and your support. It means the world to me that you've enjoyed my books and have been eagerly awaiting the release of the third one."
The crowd erupted into applause, and David felt a lump form in his throat. He had poured so much of himself into his writing, and it was humbling to see that it had resonated with so many people.
"I want to take a moment to read you all the opening lines of the third book," David continued, pulling out a copy of his latest novel. "I hope it gives you a taste of what's to come."
The crowd hushed as David began to read.
As Cole was almost done, a woman entered his office, seeking help in finding her missing daughter, Amy Norman,”
His voice was clear and steady, and he could feel the tension in the room as the audience hung on his every word.
But then, he suddenly collapsed as the sharp headache came back. There was nothing he could do and everything went dark.
As they huddled together, they could feel the hopelessness creeping in. It was like they were stuck in a nightmare, unable to wake up.
But just when it seemed like all was lost, they heard the distant sound of aircraft overhead. They looked up, their hearts pounding with hope.
“No, no no! Don’t do this to me! Why are you taking me back here?” David demanded.
“Shut up sergeant and man up! It's air support!" Emma shouted, her face breaking into a smile. "They're here!"
As the planes roared overhead, the enemy fire suddenly stopped. The sound of explosions filled the air, and they knew that the tide had turned. They had been saved.
“This is not real...this is not real,” he repeated and scrambled out of the ditch.
David slowly stood up, his eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger. The air was tense, and he could feel his heart pounding in his chest. Suddenly, he heard a loud bang, and he felt a searing pain in his chest. He looked down to see a bullet hole, blood pouring out of it and pooling around his feet. As David's body tumbled into the nearby ditch, the other soldiers rushed to his side screaming not to get out of the ditch but it was too late.
One of them knelt down and cradled David's head in his lap, trying to stem the flow of blood but it was in vain. A few seconds later, the gunfire slowly died down, the air strike was probably successful. As the gave up saving up David’s life, he noticed a piece of paper sticking out of his pocket. He hesitated for a moment, but his curiosity got the better of him, and he pulled out the paper.
“What’s that?” the woman asked.
“Looks like the beginning of a novel,” he replied and his eyes scanned the words with curiosity.
As Cole was almost done, a woman entered his office, seeking help in finding her missing daughter, Amy Norman,” he read and in silence, they all wished him to rest in peace.

2023.04.01 16:03 guitarmaniac17 My Whirlpool top loader is acting weird
Hey all. I'm a bit of a DIY guy when it comes to this kind of stuff. I'm a mechanic by trade so I have a good knowledge as far as electronics and mechanical function. However, I just bought a whirlpool top end load washing machine in September when we bought our house. Never had issues with it until now. It just seems to wash... Forever. Takes like 3 hours to wash. It's on the normal cycle, cool water, 1 rinse, and auto sensing. Last night was the first night it didn't really finish a cycle and I had to manually drain and spin it and cancel the wash cycle. And today, took about 2 and a half hours to drain once. When I went to go load another load in, it seemed to be spinning while it was filling up. So that's a new characteristic I haven't noticed until now. Is my control head going or is there a sensor or motor that's not working correctly? I know I have a warranty, but if I can a point to start, I'd like to try and diagnose it myself and see if I can't get them to cover the part. If not, I'll have one of their techs come out and look, I just don't want clothes piling up for a week or so. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, TIA.

2023.04.01 16:02 Jolly_Assistance5824 No Jumper needs a stylist 💯 I swear everyone with the exception of Trell & a few others at no jumper has noooooo drip, all this money and the fits be weak af and Dont even match half the time 😂 Lush, AD, Adam, Josh, Court, Smacc, Suicide, Keekee, Yuri, Gina, Vell, Suspect, Flakko, list go on and on
Like damn I aint even trying to hate but everyone be coming into work with the craziest fits on & I work with clothing brands & design clothes for a living lol. I spend all day working on ideas and clothes and helping brands push new ideas and styles
Barely ever match & things are always too small or big on them. I hate to say it but even AD trying to match 3 different greens with each other and on camera it be looking crazy, he has the best chance of revival & needs to find a stylist that will go shopping for him & find things that work for his build and size because he’s tall & chubby so he needs to find things that fit true to his size💯 same thing with Yuri like how you on a show that is focused all on style and drip and you got -100% swag & dont even change your underwear, one of the main reasons I cant watch anything he does or take him seriously because he doesn’t even take his hygiene serious ☠️☠️. Lets not even talk bout Adam & Josh. Smacc just be throwing anything on wearing the same clothes for 3 days str8 lol, he also like AD needs a stylist now that he is getting popular because hommie cant be trusted shopping when he’s buying addidas she’ll toes still 😂 & Cant even lie Suspects style be looking super flee market-ish lol. Those skully style hats he be wearing be looking boof, balenciaga does make skully but if you look at the color ways he wears on shows, some are not official color ways that Balenci release themselves, & often the style and look doesn’t match up with the same item they have on their website. If you would ask me, it shows high signs of being replicas and fakes even from a distance which shouldn’t be too noticeable but having 4k video quality will expose it. Flakko needs to lose some weight & start doing some leg presses because he can’t have no drip looking like that lol it’s a wobbler. He really needs some friends to help him, who let this guy wear them fake ass chucks! Like chucks are cheap af why would u go get some knock offs my boy that’s insane, Keekee would dress like AD too, looking like a 40yr uncle that still goes to the club everynight. As a fellow New Yorker , Court got no sense of style and it bothers me but hey do you big guy. & I dont really like to judge women’s style because there clothes are a whole different ball game. But her fits be wack af im sorry Gina 😫 being pretty saves her lol but she definitely dress like she in her mid 30s so I understand.

2023.04.01 16:02 BVerfG 33M/Germany looking for friends
Hey there, as the tittle says I'm 33, male and from Germany. I studied law and work in the legal profession. I'm interested in reading (fantasy and sci-fi, some classics, some history and non-fiction mostly about politics), I used to watch a lot of anime and might start up again (my favorites are the older Ghost in the Shell SAC stuff), same with manga (I've read a lot, especially yaoi, my favorite manga of all time are Liars Game and Holyland though, but I read quite a few of the more popular manga as well). Other than that, like most people here I'm into gaming (mostly JRPGs, currently playing Genshin Impact and Hogwarts Legacy and just finished Trails from Zero). I follow US and german politics, watch netflix and TV series on other platforms and am interested in various parts of history. If it matters, I'm bi and in european politics I'm a social democrat, so for the people in the US I'm a bit left of the democratic party on probably quite a few issues.
I only have one real requirement, although I don't think it realistically matters, as I can't imagine there is much demand for it: Please be over 18, if you wanna chat. Society justifiably frowns on adults talking to minors online. Other than that I only ask that you keep in mind that we might be in different time zones, so our sleeping cycle/life cycles won't always match and that if you think the conversation has run its course and don't wanna talk anymore, that you make up some benign excuse ("was nice talking to you, gotta walk my dog") or be brutally honest ("this isn't working for me. have a nice day"), instead of ghosting. I'll try to carry my fair share of the conversation and if you try the same, it'd be much appreciated. I'm not looking for anything in particular, so if you just wanna chat for a few hours or wanna try a long term friendship, I'm game for either. I'll be around for most of April because I'm on holiday, after that it'll be back to work hours and I'll only have time on the weekends/my evenings, so keep that in mind.
If you're interested, just open a chat with me.

2023.04.01 16:02 2903tkd Splurge on Lira or Delina? Help!!
My husband and I are celebrating our 9th anniversary and he wants to get me either the Casamorati Lira or PDM Delina as my present. I've sampled them both and am obsessed with both of them. I haven't worn either of them enough to know the sillage, longevity etc and don't want to get a full size bottle without being sure. I know Delina is more expensive than Lira, but Lira isn't cheap either lol. SO, which one is better? Which one would you get?! For reference I'm a 35 yo woman.

2023.04.01 16:02 GeometryDash_Gamer TD Adventure Camp Character Ranking Part 5 (8/12): I’m not a psychic, I just have good intuition
(Credit to a certain legend for the title reference👀)
Welcome to yet another totally normal entry on this totally normal day where I have a totally normal pfp, Reddit banner and display name. We are now on the last character I like, before we reach the greats of this cast. And we just so happen to run into Nick's love-interest
#8th: Lill
Lill is an ambitious, noble and kind girl-scout troop leader who is used to working with very young kids, and has joined this show to try to interact with more older people, as well as having a new experience. Lill starts this season off with some serious protagonist energy, being the first one to introduce herself in the confessional and being given relatively more focus as she initially interacts with others. However, if you’ve read my last entry, you’ll likely know she gets eliminated as early as episode 4. Basically, it doesn’t take long before her experience and instincts kick in, and she susses Fiore. But unfortunately, her attempts to tell others about her suspicions don’t end well for her as people either think she’s crazy (including the guy who supposedly loved her smh), or are aware of Fiore’s true nature but are just playing dumb in virtue of being in an alliance with her. This ultimately leads to her early downfall, but not before everyone else in the elimination ceremony gets proven that she was right all-along (no thanks to Jared pulling a Chris)
There’s not nearly as much to cover with Lill as there was with her love-interest. Though I’ll start off by talking a little bit more about her and Nick’s romance plot. As I said before, I think they are Skave done right. Both couples share common ground in that…there really wasn’t much if any real chemistry between them. Seriously, all their interactions consisted of were them saying how much they like each other. It is worth noting they did have an actual conversation at least one point, but it’s barely explained or even hinted at why they actually like each other. So in that respect, I think their romance failing was a very respectable writing decision. But this time, it’s actually handled far better than Skave. As I said before, both of them have some flaws throughout this conflict. And on Lill’s end, she low-key comes off as kind of entitled at times by being mad at Nick. Nick wasn’t obligated to jump to conclusions and vote Fiore out despite there not being 100% proof of her being problematic. Despite this, she was hurt and frustrated that even the guy who had feelings for her, believed her suspicions. Though like I said, both of their less-than-favorable traits just make them more realistically and understandably flawed rather than unlikable. It’s also easy to sympathize with her in various ways, just like Nick. Despite her suspicions, no one believed her, and then her love-interest out of all people got so fed up with her to the point he said some very hurtful things regarding her. It’s worth noting, even in episode 4 when they had a fight with each other, Lill later on said she still liked Nick and wanted their romance to work. But alas, Nick’s confessional where he straight-up hoped to never see her again was really what pushed their romance over the edge. This isn’t to throw shit at Nick by any means, but I definitely respect her for turning him down even as he tries to apologize for what he said, but still forgives him. She makes her boundaries clear, but is still willing to move forward on good terms with him. Overall, it’s a well-handled failed romance plot that enhances both characters
Aside from this, there’s also her general role as a decoy protagonist. And I think it’s also handled well and plays into some established flaws she has. I think another reason Lill was unable to get people on her side is her lack of experience with interacting with older people, which she even touches on in the beginning. So it makes sense her social game went down the drain as she tried to expose a very innocent-looking 6 year old as an impostor. And her being the first one to pick up on Fiore’s facade has the added explanation that she’s incredibly different and unusual compared to almost any other kid she’s worked with, which I also find cool. Overall, Lill is a pretty interesting and well-utilized character with a strong and likable personality. For the record, I really did low-key get vibes that she would be a protagonist. And similar to Ashley, she was even one of the characters who I started to root for more in hindsight when I watched the first episode. So seeing her be eliminated quite earlier on was a bit of a surprise, meaning the writers did their jobs well
I think I got this post done, but huh, I feel like there’s something missing… And that wraps up another entry. Not much to say aside from thank you to those who are supporting this series. I’m kinda tempted to say “peace out”, but…there’s just something missing in this post. I wonder what it could be...

2023.04.01 16:02 Normal_Study Is being short as a masculine man a dealbreaker for most gay men?
I'm extremely short (5'2" on a good day), this is because I'm trans. Now, I know some gay men are okay with being with trans men while others aren't. What I'm wondering is if being short is a dealbreaker?
I'm a hairy, stocky, masculine guy who typically prefers other masculine men and I'm wondering if my height is off-putting (especially as a vers)? I've been told that most short gay are feminine or "pocket bottoms" (I live in a rural area, so I don't see many older LGBT+ folks, I just hear stereotypes). I feel like a younger version of Gimli from LOTR.
ETA: you can be brutally honest, I'm not asking to be hugboxed. I know a lot of straight women prefer taller guys, so I'm just curious if the same is true for gay men since both groups like men.

2023.04.01 16:02 AccomplishedOcelot90 Do I suck at core exercises because im a weak noodle or because im tall?
Everyday i get chewed out by my coaches for sucking at planks, sit ups and all that. They seem absolutely shocked that an athletic looking dude is way behind the older, less athletic (or so it seems) guys. The other stuff i dont have a problem with. My conditioning is good for the amount of time ive been boxing and im pretty quick on my feet and my punches. Idk man it just sucks when Im really trying to strengthen my core but it takes so much more effort than for the others lol. Im 188cm/6ft2 btw

2023.04.01 16:01 Wan_Haole_Faka Restarting at 32 in Plumbing, Left Cult, Overcoming Self-Harm
This is sort of a broad post with many facets and I don't have a TLDR. I was in a high-control "spiritual" group from age 21-30 and am having some challenges readjusting to many of the "realities" of life. I don't know where to go to for help and would greatly appreciate outside perspectives.
I'm starting my 2nd year as an apprentice plumber after finishing first in my trade school (once I decided to leave said group).
I believe that one of the triggers for addictive/self-destructive behavior is trying to avoid challenging emotions. I struggle with binge eating maybe 50% of evenings and I live with my mother. She has been wonderfully supportive since I decided to make my own decisions in life and doesn't charge me rent, never will and will allow me to stay as long as I want to.
Last year I paid off $7,000 of credit card debt and maxed my new Roth IRA. The year before I paid $6,000 of delinquent capital gains tax. All these debts were due to squandering an inheritance from my grandfather due to me having a good heart, being gullible perhaps and not having any financial literacy until I decided that personal sovereignty was very important to me.
Anyways, living with my mother has allowed me to save a little money, but I'm not happy with the emotional/social dynamic. I don't want to speculate too much, but I think I reject the kind of love my mother wants to give me. She's getting better about seeing me as an adult, but still does things like trying to speak for me to others while in my presence, kind of normal mothering stuff for a little boy, I guess. She's retired and I think sort of has a tendency to live vicariously through others. I don't think it's healthy and so I don't really talk about my life much or communicate much with her at all. I respect her, but we're into different things and frankly, as adults, don't have a lot of common interests, which is fine. Me living with her is putting a fair strain on both of us I think, but she'll never ask me to leave.
We don't eat together for various reasons. Partially it's scheduling, she's more into snacking and I don't like talking while eating. Also, although I don't show it outwardly, I think I get triggered by her questions. I feel like I'm being interrogated and as an adult, I don't owe her any answers.
I think one of my triggers for binge eating is feeling trapped and not in control of my life. I'm wondering if living on my own will help me to "man up" for lack of a better phrase and just make my life work. I've lived alone and with roommates before in many different situations. However I also struggled with binge eating/drinking while living alone in situations where I didn't feel in control, or I didn't like my life circumstances, such as my boss being my landlord, etc. I did learn some independence even though I was in a cult lol. I was told what part of the work to go to, what country to go to, then left and forgotten about. I had to find odd jobs with limited handman/farm skills and couldn't make any commitments. I had to make it work.
I'm hedging my bets that being more independent will help me to overcome my self-destructive habits. Frankly, I've struggled with food addiction before I even got involved in the high-control group. I'm not overweight and am actually very fit, but you know when you have a problem.
I haven't confessed this to anyone in my life, but I started seeing a therapist a couple months ago and have talked about using food to cope. I have a good relationship with some of my family members but I guess I just don't want sympathy. There was a time maybe 12-13 years ago I had a major eczema issue with my skin, lived with my mother and told my sisters I wasn't interested in going to see a Western medical practitioner. Frankly, the crying, begging and emotional strain of having people care about me with good intentions can be a lot to bear. It doesn't always make things better.
I have hobbies, but I don't fully express myself and my interests around my mother and family members. I'm hoping that living on my own (even with roommates), I can focus on increasing my earning potential, work occasional side jobs and focus on my hobbies (singing, Spanish language, martial arts, yoga, etc.) and that this purpose will help me to face uncomfortable emotions and not rely on coping in negative ways.
I'd like to move out of the house and keep reworking my budget, but it's tough. I currently make $21.50/hr. but if I go to another company, I may be taking a pay cut. Although currently, I don't have any benefit package from my job and with a different company, I'd have a package. I currently have about $21,000 in a HYSA that is a combination of an emergency fund and new catruck savings.
I drive a Toyota Solara with 246,000 miles that's been well-cared for. I just put in a new alternator and new tires. Part of my hesitation in leaving my company and current city is that I don't know how much longer this car will last. I don't want to be somewhere I don't know anybody and have to deal with towing a scrap car, potentially missing work at a new company, getting a rental car and finding something reliable with Uber's and whatnot. I don't necessarily NEED a truck but am looking at everything from Tundras to Rangers because it will help me keep options open for weekend side jobs and also to move living situations if I need to.
At my current job, I'm not getting the best training (but it's okay and I can make it work), but I have a company van, they may have given me a little too early (7 months in). So, if my personal car breaks down on a weekend while I have a work van and I'm living with my mother, it's not a huge deal. Problem is, I live in a HCOL area, but I could probably find a roommate and keep my housing/utility costs under $850/mo.
My credit is 694 and I don't want to have a car loan that is less than 91.5% paid off while potentially needing to have a landlord run my credit. 694 should be fine for an apartment, but not if I add a mostly unpaid car loan.
My buddy's mother and her partner have a mother-in-law suite they are trying to rent out in a major city 1 hour away from me. They would charge below market value and there is a good plumbing company in the area I would try to get in with. They are known for having a wonderful paid training program (they actually subcontract out their training). I'd likely take a pay cut but get benefits I'm currently paying for myself (dental, health, retirement). I would probably be someone's helper for 2-6 months before getting my own work vehicle. This is an option.
I guess there's a part of me that feels bad to leave my current company. There is sideways and upward mobility, I have enough say (due to my work ethic and intellect) that I can mostly work with who I want to. They took a chance on me, pay me decently (started me at $20 and now got an additional $1.50 after 10 months) and they make a decent effort to teach me stuff. Problem is they aren't organized with how they bill jobs, among other thing. Some jobs are time and materials, some things are flat rate, some things are a total toss up and some are charity for the church, which takes money out of the employees pockets. At the risk of sounding like I'm slandering them, a good few of the guys are pot heads and even smoke at work. Warnings have been given, but nobody gets fired. If you splash too much water out of a small puddle, I guess you're only left with mud. But I still believe that a company should have standards. Small family company and management doesn't really command respect. We lose money on efficiency and productivity. Guys 6 years in still don't know how to solder and make what I make, some less. One of our lead plumbers makes $.50 an hour more than I do.
So my point is that I could do okay if I stayed in this city with my current job, for now, but I wouldn't be relying on being around people with a growth mindset. I would be relying on my own drive, which is fickle. I'm driven, but I feel like I'm also influenced by my environment. If I stay here, I'd continue seeing my therapist, but if I move to the larger city with arguably the better company, I'd probably find another therapist and would also have access to a couple different men's groups, but nothing like Overeaters Anonymous or Smart Recovery. There are options though for help if I need it, more so in the larger city.
I'll add that my former cult is based out of the larger city with these opportunities. They aren't like a major Church, but are low-key, Christian-influenced Andean Shamanic type people who are followers of someone very charismatic with a few allegations of sexual harassment, although nothing is concrete so far (I think). If I moved there, I may run into the people I left who I was very close to for 9 years. Wouldn't be a big deal I don't think, but I might have to face that.
Budget: $2,900 monthly net income
$693 food (inflated due to not feeling comfortable in my mom's kitchen to cook healthy/cheap)
$541 IRA contributions
$150 catruck savings
$100 gas
$80 clothes/shoe allowance
$80 counseling copayments
$70 health insurance
$70 Verizon bill
$55 car maintenance
$50 supplements
$35 dental insurance
$25 cleaning/maintenance
That leaves me with $951 for rent/utilities, but perhaps more. My food spending should go down substantially if I live alone, but it might not go down if I have to share a kitchen with someone.
I get bonuses at work but don't build my budget around that or anything I make from side jobs.
My mother has decided to pay my car insurance and I won't necessarily complain about that.

The last thing I'll add is that I'm learning to enjoy taking ice baths and am trying to pursue difficult things in order to build up my discipline. If you've read all that, thank you and I hope you can offer some insight that maybe I'm missing. Also, if there's another sub I should post this expression, suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Have a great weekend!
