Hello everyone. My name is Rudy, I am a 25M and I live in Canada. I am having trouble making IRL friends in the province, due to many cultural differences here. It would be nice to make friends with people who are willing to put a lot of time and effort into the friendship we could potentially have together. If you are someone who works a lot of hours or are constantly busy, I am not the man for you.
So what about me? Well my interests are gaming (Left 4 Dead 2, Project Zomboid, Terraria, The Forest, Fortnite, Apex, Stardew) also if anyone has Java Minecraft and would like to teach me how to build in Minecraft that would be great. I also like reading books about mental-self help, long walks or jogging, my black cat (I can send pics of him), cooking, sleeping, long drives, and meeting new people.
Here is what I would like to potentially do together when we feel more comfortable with each other
We can voicechat and enjoy each other's presence
We can watch movies, or anything really
We can play any of the games I mentioned
We can text each other almost everyday
We can support each other when we have a bad day
That is about it really. I only ask that you are ages between 19 - 30, and are from USA, Canada or Europe for timezone reasons. I heavily prefer discord or telegram to chat on, and voice chat is a must for me.

I was 20 at the time, and sitting in my mom’s car after work one winter. I had gone out to start up the car and warm it up while she finished some paperwork. I had the doors unlocked, as I was sure my mom would’ve been out in less than 10 minutes. The parking lot we park in is relatively well-lit, but even in winter, it’s still pretty dark.
I’m in the passenger seat and on my phone, scrolling through Reddit, when I get this feeling of being watched. I look up, to my left, then my right. On my right, roughly 50 yards away, is a sidewalk under a thrift store, and under the awning is this guy, in his mid-late 20’s if I had to guess, wearing dark pants and a hoodie with the hood pulled up. I glance at him for a moment, then go back to scrolling, trying to ignore him. However, I just can’t get rid of that sinking feeling, and I can feel my shoulders get more and more tense.
Then, out of the corner of my eye, I see him step off the sidewalk under the awning and walk towards the car I’m in. I can’t see his face well, but I just know he’s staring at me. His gaze is locked onto me, and I’m starting to feel that sickening knot in my stomach.
When he’s about 12-15 feet from the car, I finally unfreeze and quickly lock the doors, with the audible click that comes with it. His beeline towards the car almost instantly shifts, and he goes slightly in front of the car as he passes, and he’s angry as hell. I can feel him glaring at me. He keeps walking, and past the gas station that’s just down the road, and out of my line of sight.
Once I can’t see him, I text my mom, my hands shaking and tears welling up in my eyes. Not even a minute later, she comes running outside, locking the door behind her and getting in the car. I’m almost in tears over what happened, and she’s trying to assure me I’m safe now.
Two years later, I refuse to go outside by myself after work, especially in the winter when it gets darker earlier. I’m terrified of being followed or watched, and I still get that tight feeling in my chest when I see a stranger even walk the same direction as me.

My cat won't let me trim his nails, brush his long hair to stop matting or get it out, clean his butt when it sticks to his long fur. Barely lets me touch him with my hands at all.
He was surrendered by his original owner because "he wouldn't let us pet him".
That said, he is comfortable with me. He follows me from room to room. Will meow for me to join him when he really wants to be in a different room but also wants me around. He sleeps on or between my legs every night. We exchange slow blinks.
How do I properly take care of a cat that bites and scratches every time I try to take care of him. But otherwise seems to be very comfortable with me?
I've tried excessive treats (he's very food motivated). I've tried cat burrito, but he squirms so much I'm worried he'll hurt himself. And he usually really starts squirming if I try to switch which nails are out.
I'm really at a loss for what to do. It breaks my heart that I can't take proper care of him. But I have no idea how to help him.
He's 2 and I've had him for 6 months if that helps.

I'm just curious about some other thoughts on the subject...
I don't think it was necessary to introduce Lifeweaver as "our first pan sexual hero!"
This game is rated T for Teen. I can honestly say not once have I ever logged in and just pondered "hmm, I wonder who Baptiste is boning today...?" Literally not once, so why are their sexual preferences being forced upon us? We ask for nerfs/buffs, for ranked to actually work, for more content, and what we get is a bunch of rainbow stuff forced upon us, and backstory about things that literally have no bearing upon the Overwatch universe. I want content, playable content, not your goofy sexual fan fiction nonsense.
Has Blizzard completely lost sight of everything? They embarrass themselves and every one of us who plays and cares for this game by scraping PVE, and the first thing they do is pander to the LGBTQ-whatever community?!? Seems to be garnering favor with a community who has proven to be the loudest, hoping they would sing their praises for the acknowledgement to shoosh some of the other stuff under the carpet.
We sure as hell didn't see any in game changes for Black History month, no Baptiste backstory (which probably could've been great.) We don't get special fathers/mothers day content. We don't find out that a hero is Jewish around the holidays, or maybe Orisa celebrates Kwanzaa, but hey, Pharah sure does love pussy!
Again, this is a T rated game, targeted for teens/young adults, why is this necessary?
I've played all of the Archives missions/junkenstein, I love them, it's a refreshing change of pace, plus the extra story content to add context as to why we are all standing around the slowest cart known to man day after day is really helpful. However, not once in any of those missions does Baptiste struggle with his apparent desire to suck dicks... not once, nor did sexual orientation play a part in a single mission. The fight is between humans and omnics, that is the struggle, yet this team is so consistently unaware of what it's game is and how to build forward, that we get a new hero as wonky as his sexual identity, a bunch of rainbows and a damn fan fiction, and they actually think that was a job well done?!?!
Am I the only one feeling like there are now multiple universes I'm desperate need of saving right now?

My therapist said I have to get into it at some point. The memories pop back up and I try to push them away, but they always come back. I could be in target running errands and I remember something and it makes me sick to my stomach. I hate myself. I hate the things I did. I hate what was done to me. I just want to forget.
I think my therapist is wonderful, but I don't trust anyone to know the deepest parts of my life. I don't think I ever will. I don't want to be judged for things I did while I was just trying to survive. I have a lot of guilt and shame surrounding who I was and who I am.
I feel so lost. I want to get better but it seems impossible.

as you saw in title i want some of the tank that imo are unfair to play with. to get some buff and make them more viable to play with.
first off spike. the problem with spike is that they have slow movement but they are strong ram becus of that. spike have a difficult time to kill opponent and people use them as meatball wall instead. my suggestion is making spike got a slight speed boost when spike kill player. speed boost have a timer of 5sec. it prob not make spike more easier to kill opponent, but it will make spike retreat/making more kill easier when spike kill opponent. speed boost increase speed by...which im not sure yet, maybe 25%? or have the same speed as booster?
after i thinking a bit, maybe smasher class could get a similar buff from spike too. but other smasher tank will have speed boost timer of 2.5sec instead. since smasher all they can do is push the limit of three stat and expand your fov. which is unfair compare to other 30lvl tank.
2.overtrapper. problem i see from overtr is that there ai drone are useless. even though the drone are use full on their own. becus the ai drone speeds are faster than overlo drone and overtr have two drone barrel which make ai drone reload are double of hybrid. so it's really good to counter a rammer. but it's useless when you put it on trapper since there trap are counter a rammer already. becus of that im suggest to...im not really sure if this is strong suggest but it's a slight buff after all so. increase ai drone range so ai drone can attack the player that are not rammer more often.
3.auto turret. they have their own use and really good to detect opponent that are not in you fov. im not gonna said that they are unfair additional. but it's really unfair when you are fighting drone class . since all drone class are mostly attack from a range so auto turret can't do anything making them useless. becus of that i suggest making auto turret can target drone so it can give you a sign of incoming drone that are out of your fov and help you destroy drone that are attacking you.
this is all suggestion i have you can disagree as your want.

I don’t have a “dream job” but if anything came close to that, it would be the job I have now. I work in education supporting kids in highschool with learning disabilities. It’s an inner city school and the kids are mostly kids in group homes and living in poverty. I can’t imagine myself working anywhere else, until Friday when I got word that the district was cutting funding for the school and therefore we would be losing a staff member with the lowest seniority- me.
I’m devastated, angry, struggling to face the reality. I’ve been guaranteed a full time position elsewhere and I know that I’m luckier than most in that, but my spirit had been beaten down so badly from this that I don’t even know what to do. I’m chained by the fact that I live paycheque to paycheque with nowhere else to work that that will pay me enough. I hate capitalism, I hate school districts, and I wish I could run away and live with my cat in Switzerland but here I am.
Just needed to rant about it since tomorrow I get served my lay off papers and a list of transfers

I would appreciate any help with my neighbors horrible cats that keep ruining my garden and potted plants 🪴 I’ve worked so hard and they even broke this expensive solar lantern I just bought and I notified the neighbors about it and their response was “ we will do what we can to keep them away “ not even offer to pay for the lantern ! our ring goes off constantly throughout the night when they are let out and I try to avoid the neighbors at all cost . Any advice to keep cats out of my garden would be greatly appreciated and my husband is highly allergic to cats as well so the hair they leave makes him sick .

Sorry random rant but these people annoy me, like what is honestly funny about humiliating somebody who is clearly to pissed to realise they are getting made fun of or just to pissed to stand up for themselves, I’m not talking about a little banter I’m talking about actually humiliating someone. Weak people do this, I had a girl do it to me and next time i saw her she acted completely different kept her head down and was really shy towards me wasn’t acting like she did when she thought it would be funny to take the piss out of me in front of a group of guys one of which was my boyfriend, he did stand up for me but she wouldn’t stop she kept targeting only me. Lol anyways that’s all i had to say, tbh I think she’s just insecure or something and had to try mess up my appearance to make herself feel better about not being as hot as me.
FYI no she’s not my friend, this is a random person i have hardly interacted with who did this.

I noticed several early hints that the guys sent to kill Phil had the wrong address were missed even by the wrong guy himself, who one would think would’ve told the delivery guy there was no Mr. Philip living there instead of taking the package supposedly addressed to Mr. Philip.
The guy in the porno store was told over the phone the guy’s daughter got in the way, but then told Patsy over the phone Phil’s mistress got in the way. Did he just assume the daughter and the mistress were two different Ukrainian-speaking people and leave the supposed third murder out of his update to Patsy?
And when Patsy responded to being asked over the phone about having ever seen Phil speaking Ukrainian to his mistress with “Fuck do I know?” before calling Paulie to confirm the hit was done, did he really mean, “Possibly, but I just assumed it was in Italian?” Or did he and pretty much everyone else who should’ve sensed something not right with the idea of their target, an Italian-American, speaking Ukrainian assume he learned it from his mistress on his own time and kept it private from the mob world?
