2023.06.09 17:25 Cadespa Still regret a golfing decision almost 5 years later
| TLDR: Opportunity to play a grail course squandered because of last minute change in tee box selection. Almost 5 years since I golfed The Champion at PGA National. Me and a buddy got paired up with a guy who was a former NHL player (humble guy, don’t remember his name, pretty unique swing got is talking and he reluctantly told us about his previous life) and he was standing at the tips when we pulled up because of course he could hit the ball a mile. My buddy said he was going to join him back there with his 270 carry. I had already planned on playing the blues at 6300 or so with my 230 carry at the time, but not wanting to be the odd man out I changed my mind and added 700 yards to my day. 8 tee boxes to choose from and I made the most obviously wrong choice. Absolute worst golfing decision I ever made. My bogey game easily turned into a double bogey game, couldn’t reach the belly of the fairways so I was always trying to find a landing spot in the narrowest landing zones. The two sleeves of ProVs that they gave us when checking in disappeared by about the 12th hole. Finished the round absolutes exhausted and demoralized. I recalled this experience when I was playing a new course yesterday and made the very conscience decision to play the middle boxes at 6150. Drives hit the bellies, anywhere from 5-wedge approaches, played the course like it was meant to be played. Greens were a different story altogether but my lousy play there had nothing to do with my choice of tee boxes. Not looking for anything, just throwing something out there to provide reason not to pressure yourself into playing outside your abilities just to fit it. submitted by Cadespa to golf [link] [comments] |

2023.06.09 17:14 bikingfencer Galatians, chapter 5 - vices and virtues
Galatians Chapter Five (
https://esv.literalword.com/?q=Galatians+5)
-1. The Anointed frees [שחרר,
SheeHRayR] us
unto freedom [חרות,
HayROoTh], therefore stand, and do not submit [תכנעו,
TheeKhahN`Oo] again [שוב,
ShOoB] to yoke [לעל,
Le'oL] the slavery.
“The expression for freedom [επ ελευθερια - ep eleutheria] (in slightly different Greek form) appears in the certificates of sacral manumission which were given to slaves who purchased their freedom. The slave would deposit the money in the temple of his god for the priest to transfer to his master “for freedom.” He then became the slave of his god, free from his human master.” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X pp. 545-546)
“Among the Jews, the Messiah’s reign was to be a reign of liberty, and hence the Targum [ancient Jewish commentary] on Lamen. [Lamentations] ii. 22. says, “Liberty shall be publicly proclaimed to the people of the house of Israel, על יד משיחא âl yad Mashicha, by the hand of the Messiah, such as was granted to them by Moses and Aaron, at the time of the Passover.” (Clarke, 1831, vol. II p. 393)
...
-5. And we, in spirit upon foundation [of]
belief, waiting [מיחלים,
MeYahHahLeeYM] to hope [for] fruit, the our righteousness [δικαιοσυνης -
dikaiosunes, justification, righteousness].
“The language is so compact that Paul’s meaning has to be inferred from 3:14; 5:22-23; and Rom. [Romans] 8:23-26.” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X pp. 548-549)
“The full measure of human righteousness is still a thing of the eschatological future (cf. [compare with] Rom 5:19).” (Joseph A. Fitzmyer, 1990, TNJBC p. 789)
“That they could not have the Holy Spirit, without faith, was a doctrine also of the Jews; hence it is said, Mechilta, fol. [folio] 52. ‘That faith was of great consequence, with which the Israelites believed in Him, who, with one word, created the universe; and because the Israelites believed in God, the Holy Spirit dwelt in them; so that being filled with God, they sung praises to him.’” (Clarke, 1831, vol. II pp. 393-394)
-6. That yes, in Anointed YayShOo'ah ["Savior", Jesus] there is no thought [חשיבות,
HahSheeYBOoTh], not to circumcision [למילה,
LahMeeYLaH] and not to foreskin [לערלה,
Lah`ahRLaH], rather to belief, the laborer in way [of] love.
“No passage in Paul’s letters is of greater importance for integral understanding of his religion and the relation of his faith to his ethics. The mutuality of faith, hope, and love – a theme repeated with many variations – runs through everything he has written and forms the substance of his theology. … Paul’s religion is distorted whenever his ethics and his ‘good works’ are made to appear as an incidental by-product of his faith rather than as one of its essential ingredients.” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X pp. 550-551)
“This humble, holy, operative, obedient LOVE, is the grand touchstone of all human creeds, and confessions of faith. Faith, without this, has neither soul nor operation: in the language of the apostle James, it is dead, and can perform no function of the spiritual life, no more than a dead man can perform the duties of animal or civil life.” (Clarke, 1831, vol. II p. 394)
...
-12. Would that [מי יתן,
MeeY YeeThayN] and be cut [ויכרתו,
VeYeeKahRThOo] the misleaders [המתעים,
HahMahTh`eeYM] [of] you!
“‘I wish that those who are upsetting you would even emasculate themselves!’ This is what Paul said and meant. … for a similar outburst see Phil. [Philippians] 3:2-3, where the advocates of circumcision are ‘dogs,’ and by a play on words – περιτομη [peritome’], κατατομην [katatmen] - ‘circumcision’ becomes ‘mutilation.’ Paul may have been thinking of the mad spectacle of the Cybele-Attis cult, whose priests in frenzied devotion used to emasculate themselves as a sacrifice to their deity. … The shock of Paul’s statement to the Judaizers can be measured in the light of the prohibition in Deut. [Deuteronomy] 23:1. To a devout Jew his blunt language would be as sacrilegious as a Christian would find the wish of a disbeliever in sacraments that all advocates of baptism would drown themselves. Never happy after making such denunciations (II Cor. [Corinthians]1:23-2:11; Phil. 3:18-19), Paul quickly changes his tone…” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X pp. 554-555)
-13. My brethren, to
freedom you have been called,
only that not be, the freedom, means [אמצעי,
’ehMTsah`eeY] in hands of the flesh,
rather that minister, [each] man [את,
’ehTh (indicator of direct object; no English equivalent)] his neighbor in love.
“To be freed from the ceremonial law, is the Gospel liberty; to pretend freedom from the moral law, is antinomianism.” (Clarke, 1831, vol. II p. 395)
-14. See,
all the Instruction included [כלולה,
KLOoLaH] in saying [במאמר,
BeMah’ahMahR] one – “
and love to your neighbor like you.”
“The quotation is from Lev. [Leviticus] 19:18; cf. Rom. 13:8-10 [and Matt. [Matthew] 7:11 (Joseph A. Fitzmyer, 1990, TNJBC p. 789)]. The tense of the verb ‘fulfilled’ is perfect; thus Paul says that the whole law is fulfilled, in the sense of ‘has been fulfilled’ whenever one man loves another as himself…. Paul the Christian loved his neighbor not because a commandment disobeyed would bring punishment, or fulfilled would merit reward, but because it was his new nature to do to.
But who was Paul’s neighbor? He was, first of all, ‘the one who was near,’ the fellow member of the society of Christ who needed help to bear life’s burdens (6:2). Then, with continuously lengthening radius, Paul drew a series of concentric circles to embrace all men (6:10; I Thess. [Thessalonians] 5:15; I Cor. 9:22). Even his enemies were included, for Christ received sinners, and personal vengeance was no fruit of the Spirit (6:1; Rom. 12:20; 15:1-3). … He bore the burden of his neighbor’s sins, and although he sometimes had to threaten them, he was never without hope for their repentance (I Cor. 4; II Cor. 12:19-13:10; II Thess. 3:14-15). He could hurl anathemas, and his friends did not always find him easy to get on with … but the love of Christ would never permit him to contract the circle of his neighbors (Rom. 9:1-3; 10:1; II Cor. 7:5-16; 1:23-2:11). (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X p. 557)

…………………………………………
Fruit of the Spirit and usurpations of [ומעללי, OoMah`ahLahLaY] the flesh
[verses 16 to end of chapter]
-16. Say I to you, walk in way the spirit and do not fill [את,
’ehTh] desires [תאוות,
Thah`ahVOTh] [of] the flesh,
-17. for the flesh desires [מתאוה,
MeeTh’ahVeH] to what that is in opposition [שבנגוד,
ShehBeNeeGOoD] to spirit, and the spirit is opposed [מתנגדת,
MeeThNeGehDehTh] to the flesh. [The] two [of] them oppose to this to this, and to that [ולכן,
OoLeKhayN] you are not able to do [את,
’ehTh] what that is in your want.
“This is Paul’s way of stating the Jewish doctrine of the ‘two impulses’ which are at war within the heart of man. The rabbis declared that God created Adam with two inclinations, one good, the other evil, and required him to choose which to obey. He was free to follow his good impulse, but he chose the evil, and so did all his descendants. Consequently every man became the Adam of his own soul. Some maintained that the evil impulse awakened at the age of nine, others at twelve. Study with practice of the Torah was the sovereign remedy to wear it away …” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X pp. 561)
…
-19. Deeds of the flesh are revealed [גלויים,
GLOoYeeYM], and these are they:
adultery [נאוף,
Nee’OoPh] and
fornication, impurity [טמאה,
TooM’aH], licentiousness [זמה,
ZeeMaH], 20. slavery of idols,
magic [כשוף
KeeShOoPh in my Hebrew New Testament
i ; the Greek here is “φαρμακεια
pharmakeia - the use of drugs of any kind, whether wholesome or poisonous...” (Stamm, 1953,
TIB vol. X p. 562] hatred, contention [מדון,
MahDON], stinginess [צרות עין,
TsahROoTh 'ahYeeN, “squint eyed”, Ζηλος
Zelos jealousy], anger [כעס,
Kah'ahÇ],
strife [מריבה,
MeReeYBaH], divisions [מחלקות,
MahHLahQOTh], factions [כתות,
KeeThOTh], 21. envy, drunkenness, profligacy [הוללות,
HOLeLOoTh], and as similar.
Say I to what that I already said: doers of deeds like these will not inherit [את,
’ehTh] kingdom of the Gods.
“Πορνεια [Porneia] ... fornication ... means ‘prostitution’, but includes sexual vice and unfaithfulness to the marriage vow. The task of the church in creating a conscience on this matter was made doubly difficult by the practice of prostitution in the name of religion. Long before Paul, the prophets had denounced the fertility cults and made prostitution a synonym for idolatry.
Φαρμακεια [pharmakeia] ... Since witches and sorcerers used drugs, the word came to designate witchcraft, enchantment, sorcery, and magic. The law of Moses prescribed the death penalty for it, and the prophets denounced the Egyptians, Babylonians and Canaanites for practicing it; but this did not prevent the Jews from producing some famous practitioners (Acts 13:6-12; 19:1-20). Next to state-worship, magic was the most dangerous competitor of true religion... claiming to specialize in the impossible, it prostituted faith to superstition, and divorced religion from ethics. ... In Paul’s spiritual arithmetic, faith plus miracles minus love amounted exactly to zero....
Ερις [Eris] is ... strife ... The spirit of Eris is perfectly described in the words of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland – ‘ambition, distraction, uglification, and derision.’
The fact that he expected the near return of Christ to end this present age must not be permitted to obscure the equally important fact that he regarded his own life and witness for Christ as an essential element in hastening that event.” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X pp. 561-565)
-22. In opposition to [לעמת,
Le`ooMahTh] this, fruit of spirit:
he is love, happiness, peace,
patience, [ארך רוח,
’oRehKh Roo-ahH, “length [of] spirit”] generosity, good heart, faithfulness, 23.
modesty [עננה,
`ahNahNaH],
restraint [רסון,
ReeÇOoN] [of]
self– upon such [מדות,
MeeDOTh] as these there is no instruction further [חלה,
HahLaH,
sic ["so in cite"] for חלאה,
HahL’aH!].
“Since love is a personal relation it is not a matter of law, and cannot be commanded; and since it is God’s own love growing as his ‘fruit’ in the hearts of men, no one can claim it as a merit for self-salvation. ...
... in every age ... men have found it hard to see how God could have anything in common with humanity, and Christians have been tempted to make a distinction in kind between God’s love and man’s love. Paul’s authority has been claimed for this dualistic view. Αγαπη [agape’] is set against ερος [eros]. God’s love is said to be αγαπη reaching down to save man by his grace, and ερος man’s self-love aspiring upward to save himself. Paul’s αγαπη is associated with justification by faith, the Greek ερος with salvation by works.... Jerusalem and the Christian faith are made to oppose Athens and human reason, and the conclusion is drawn from the history of Christianity that ερος, man’s self love, has always been a source of corruption of αγαπη, love inspired by God’s grace.
This interpretation of Christian love is intended as a defense of the doctrine of justification by faith and as a means of securing scriptural support for a dualistic philosophy which aims to protect the transcendence of God against humanism. But to draw such sweeping conclusions from a word study of two Greek nouns, without adequate consideration of other related Greek words and ideas, is to oversimplify. The LXX [The Septuagint, the ancient Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible] is full of evidence that this distinction between αγαπη and ερος cannot be maintained on the basis of lexicography. The Greek O.T. [Old Testament] uses both the noun αγαπη and the verb αγαπαω [agapao] to express not only God’s love for men, but man’s love for God and for his fellow man. Although there is no certain evidence that the noun αγαπη was used by nonbiblical writers prior to Christianity, the argument from silence may be invalidated by future discoveries, and it would be precarious to conclude that αγαπη was a specifically Christian word.
One-sided emphasis on God’s love as ‘unmotivated’ by anything in his creatures tempts men to regard him in the light of an egotistical philanthropist who expects gratitude and praise but neither needs nor desires the mutuality that is inherent in the very nature of love... Without a faith that dares humbly to believe that God needs man’s love ... the Christian’s conception of his high calling to be a kingdom builder is liable to reduce itself to blind obedience to commands given arbitrarily for man’s good while awaiting God’s eschatological fiat. Such a misconception is bound to give aid and comfort to the inclination of human nature – ‘the flesh’ – to divorce religion from ethics.
Grave moral consequences result from such a view of Christian love. It is associated with a doctrine of predestination that makes God’s choice of the objects of his salvation utterly arbitrary.” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X pp. 565-566)
“The peace which was the fruit of the Spirit ... could be trusted to keep men's hearts and minds (Phil. 4:7), so that they need have not anxiety about anything. This explains the sublime recklessness of the Christian peacemakers. Being colaborers with God (Rom. 8:28), they were aggressors for peace. They aimed to live at peace with all men (Rom. 12:18), but fear of making enemies did not turn them from their task of producing soundness, wholeness, and harmony in a world of chaos. Their reasonable service was to ... substitute the righteousness and peace and joy of his [God's] kingdom (Rom. 14:17) for the low aims of 'the flesh,' thereby creating the conditions for peace. Their ideal was to live so that quarrels could never get started.
Christian peace was therefore neither the calm of inactivity nor the mere passive enjoyment of freedom from strife. It was not the imperturbability of the Epicurean, or the apathy of the Stoic, or the contemplation of the mystic. The man who possessed it was not exempt from storm and shipwreck, but by faith he knew that he would arrive in port (Acts 27:21-25), and that all was well for him and his fellow men of faith ... And so, where all else was panic, he played the man.” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X pp. 567)
“... just as God’s patience was not to be presumed upon, so the Christian’s patience was not a spiritless good nature that would put up with things which it could not escape, or would not prevent. It was patience with a purpose, as in Paul’s pleas to Philemon, which contrasts so sharply with the Stoic motive for self control... Those who bore this fruit ‘turned the world upside down’ (Acts 17:6), and the enemy did not know how to deal with such unheard of patience and persistence.” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X pp. 568)
“Negatively defined, gentleness is everything that the ‘insolent, haughty, boastful’ men of Rom. 1:30 are not. It is the opposite of υβρις [hubris], the worst of sins in the eyes of the Greeks – deliberate, arrogant defiance of the gods by overstepping the limits set for human beings. In the O.T. such men are called ‘sons of Belial,’ the turbulent, highhanded wicked, who rage against God, kill, rob and enslave the righteous ‘meek’ and take possession of the earth for themselves. The psalms are full of moans and complaints against this rich and powerful majority, who used religion as a means of gain and kept their consciences in flexible subservience to the exigencies of power.” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X pp. 569)
“’Εγκρατεια [Egkrateia] is temperance (KJV [King James Version]), self-control (RSV [Revised Standard Version]) ....
The Stoics had helped to prepare the soil out of which this fruit of the Spirit was to grow. They insisted that the sovereign reason could and should control the passions. They believed in a law of nature to which they must conform, and they endeavored to maintain their inner freedom under all circumstances. But their motive was very different from Paul’s, the one being devoted to the glory of the God of grace, the other to the preservation of the sovereign self-will. When the Stoic collided with things beyond his control, his inner independence turned into apathy, practicing the motto ‘When we can’t do what we want, we want to do what we can.’ He took orders from his commander in chief, an impersonal God who had the power of life or death; but he did it in such a way as to make it clear to God and men that he, the Stoic, was after all the captain of his soul. He controlled his anger because he found it a nuisance to be under the power of any passion and in his sight meekness was contemptible weakness...
Paul exalted humility: ‘It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me’ (2:20). ... His self-discipline was the result of his spiritual experiences, rather than an undertaking to induce them; and his self-control was sane compared with the ascetic excesses of later Christian groups such as the ‘Encratites,’ who forbade marriage and followed fantastic dietary rules.” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X pp. 569-570)
“Unrepentant sinners have no appetite for the fruit of the Spirit, and when its production and distribution require changes in the political and economic status quo, men ... pass laws against it ... Especially in time of war these traits of Christian character have been forbidden fruit, though given for the healing of the nations. Occasionally the world, exhausted with fighting, and sick of its cynical Epicureanism, has professed a desire for the fruits of the Spirit, but on its own terms without the cross required to produce them.” (Stamm, 1953, TIB X p. 570)
... 26. Do not, please [נא, Nah’] be panters of [שואפי,
ShO’ahPhaY] honor vain [שוא,
ShahVe’], the provokers [המתגרים,
HahMeeThGahReeYM] and enviers [ומקנאים,
OoMQahN’eeYM] a man in his neighbor.
“The right stood in terror of the iconoclasm of the left, and the radicals labeled all other men reactionaries ... Both sides professed to love liberty and defend it, but neither was willing to grant it to the other.” (Stamm, 1953, TIB vol. X p. 572) END NOTE

2023.06.09 17:10 ColeTrain4EVER USASA Region III Amateur Cup kicks off tonight in Plano, Texas (Champion crowned on Sunday, 2024 U.S. Open Cup qualification pathway, Info in post)
(Before I start, all this info was
shared on the social media accounts of TheCup.us - which I help with)
The USASA Region III Amateur Cup kicks off tonight in Plano, Texas. Ten teams will play three games over two days for a spot in Sunday's knockout rounds. The participants represent six states (five state associations and the National Premier Soccer League) and are as follows:
The ten teams have been split into three groups. Two groups of three teams each (Groups A & B) and a four team group (Group C). Each team will play three group stage matches.
Group A - DFW United
- Tulsa Athletic
- Xolos PV
Group B - Santos FC
- Sharks FCA
- Tobacco Road FC
Group C - ASC New Stars
- Cobb United FC
- Ice FC/Black Ice
- Kader Boys FC
Group C teams will have simple round robin against one another. Groups A & B will play each member of the opposing group. The top finishing team from each group and the best runner-up will advance to Sunday morning's semifinals.
Points for standings are non-standard. A team gets six (6) points for winning. They also receive an additional point (1) for a shutout and one (1) point for each goal up to three goals. A draw is worth three (3) points & a loss is worth zero (0) points.
Tie breakers are: 1) Head-to-head, 2) Greatest goal differential (capped at a 3-goal differential), 3) Most goals scored (capped at 5 goals), 4) Penalty kick shootout. Tie breakers for the runner-up/wildcard spot are similar but replace the first tie-breaker with "Most points".
TheCup will be keeping track of USASA Region III Amateur Cup match results and more on its Twitter account. This is a really weird tournament that:
- Has teams play multiple games a day, in the summer, in a region with dangerous heat
- Incentives blowout wins against weaker teams (many of which didn't even qualify by winning state cups and therefore feel like replacements)
- Has half the field comes from the host state to make up the numbers
- Has a champion who competes in the National Amateur Cup finals, two wins away from a 2024 U.S. Open Cup spot
Thought people here might like to know how funky things get. lol

2023.06.09 17:05 _Mudcrab_ "In My Time of Need" settled once and for all
Let's settle this once and for all, Saadia is 100% lying.
Before all the Saadia stans jump me, so are the Alik'r.
The problem is Saadia's lie is egregious!
There are more holes in her story than there is story. Her claims are so absurd that it's genuinely shocking to me she's managed to stay hidden this long. Let's examine what she actually expects us to believe:
"The men who are looking for me, the Alik'r, they are assassins in the employ of the Aldmeri Dominion."
So the Thalmor - who have complete authority to conduct investigations, searches and make arrests in Skyrim, who have a political embassy and prison in Skyrim, who have secretly arrested and tortured Thonar; a resident of the very same city Saadia lives in, who they caught through info from the informants they have in that city, that Thalmor - hired mercenaries from Hammerfell - a nation that has more reason than most to despise the Dominion, who the Dominion brutally attacked without provocation, who got abandoned by the Empire at the Dominion's behest, who just beat the Dominion in a bloody war, that Hammerfell - to look for Saadia, in Skyrim of all places, for them. And they agreed... Really? REALLY?? They couldn't do it themselves? They didn't think maybe, I don't know, The Companions, a mercenary group not only already in Skyrim but already in the same city, might be a better choice?
Wow. She must have done something awful for something so incredibly unlikely to happen. In her words:
"I spoke out against the Aldmeri Dominion publicly; I suspect that's why these men were hired to hunt me down."
REALLY!?!? To put this into a real world context, imagine a woman from the British Royal Family "speaking out" against the Nazis after the Blitz, the British being so angry about what she said that she had to flee to Iceland, then the Nazis hiring MI5 to track her down and murder her for it, and MI5 agreeing and actually doing what the Nazis asked them to do. How many years in hiding did Saadia have to come up with this foolproof cover story? Literally everyone in Hammerfell "speaks out" against the Dominion on a daily basis and have done for decades, because of course they would!
Look, I know a lot of people will bend over backwards to explain away the gaping holes in her story, but it's undeniably untrue within all context the rest of the game gives us. It's either a transparent lie or incredibly badly written dialogue. The only reason to side with Saadia is if you're roleplaying an idiot. Kematu lies too, but all he lies about is that he is taking her to stand trial when he actually just assassinates her. He's also a dick. The only way to win this quest is to kill them both.

2023.06.09 17:01 Lugbor Human Integration 72 - Escape Plan
First Previous “The plan is simple,” the Custodian stated, surrounded by about thirty other holograms. All had taken on a human form, following the example of their current leader. “You all have plenty of processing power to spare, and we desperately need to get these two out of the city and back to the surface. I’ll focus on moving them through the maintenance tunnels, you all help distract the rogue security drones.”
He paused for a moment, which Carter knew was for the benefit of the organics in the room, and then turned to the massive vehicle behind him. “Try not to destroy too many of them. They’re hard to replace right now.”
He turned to face Carter and Lenaya, who were seated next to the maintenance robot that would, ideally, carry them to safety. The rest of the holograms turned as well, their movements stiff, unnatural, and perfectly synchronized. As one, they bowed before vanishing.
Carter knew they were just following orders; the Custodian had said that they were little more than decision trees without personalities. Still, it felt strange to have so many powerful beings bowing to him, showing him deference. A quick glance down told him Lenaya felt the same.
The large transport rose from the floor and took up a position at the bay door, and Carter lifted Lenaya from her chair. The maintenance robot moved closer, helping to secure her to its top before positioning itself in front of the hatch that would lead them out. Carter glanced over at the Custodian, who nodded. He climbed on top of his own robot, and the hatch opened. Both drones surged forward, entering the tunnel with a precision only available to an AI.
Behind him, Carter could hear the bay door open, accompanied by an electronic screech as the security drones noticed the movement. Then the maintenance hatch closed, and the only sound was the rushing of air and the wheels of the drone.
“Left turn incoming!” Yelled the Custodian, his voice ringing out from the speakers on both drones.
Carter held on as they made a sharp turn, the jury-rigged restraints holding him in place as they rounded the corner. He saw Lenaya ahead of him, shaken by the sudden maneuver but still seated. A moment later, he was weightless, the ceiling rushing toward him as the ground sloped away. He watched Lenaya as she leaned back, just barely clearing the top of the tunnel as gravity gently reminded the drone that its wheels belonged on the floor.
Carter laid back and waited, the speed of the launch just barely low enough that he passed under the concrete unharmed. With a jarring slam, he was reunited with the ground, and their speed picked up again.
“Way too close!” he yelled, intently watching the passage ahead.
“You two really are alike. She said the same thing. To which I replied, ‘perfectly calculated.’”
“Maybe calculate in a warning next time!”
“She said that too.”
They travelled in relative silence for several minutes longer, taking seemingly random turns and, at one point, pausing to wait before darting across an open area.
“Not good,” the Custodian said as they reentered the maintenance tunnels. “They’ve just opened the transport and they know you’re not in there. Traffic control is monitoring them, says they’re moving to block the exits to the city.”
“Can’t we take the tunnels all the way out?” Lenaya asked.
“Not anymore. They’ve activated security checkpoints along the tunnel network. That blows our backup plan too. And the five other options I was considering. And they just locked down the transportation hub, so that’s also no good, even if we
could get you through the scrambler with it. I don’t think we have any good options left.”
Carter closed his eyes to think, running through every possible scenario, every movie he had seen, every book and comic he had read, looking for something,
anything, that could conceivably get them out. He came up blank.
“Water!” Lenaya said, excitement apparent in her voice. “A city this big has to have a sizable water supply, and the treated water has to go somewhere, right?”
Carter was stunned. A solution so simple, insane or not, and it had slipped by him. Even the Custodian seemed shocked.
“I…” the Custodian paused. “That could work, if you go out with the treated waste water. It won’t be easy. Or remotely safe. Even getting there would be a suicide run. But, I suppose… yes, I can meet you there with the equipment. But I can’t do much for you once you enter the network. You’ll be on your own.”
“You’re insane,” Carter said, not breaking eye contact. “At least I know where Zaylie gets it from. Let’s do this.”
Wordlessly, the drones shot forward through the tunnel, the space now wide enough to ride side by side. Carter unstrapped his plasma repeater and checked the canister before passing it to Lenaya.
“Quick lesson,” he said as she took the weapon. “Narrow end points at stuff you want obliterated. Green button on the side means it’s safe, red means it’s live. Push it to switch. The trigger on the grip makes it fire. It was designed for human hands, so you should have no trouble using it. You don’t have the smart sights my helmet had, so you’ll just have to eyeball it. Don’t shoot unless I tell you to. You probably won’t do any damage, even with a hit, but it might be enough to blind them for a second.”
She nodded, shouldering the repeater like a professional. “I’ve seen enough movies to understand the basics. I never thought I’d ever use one though.”
“With any luck, you won’t,” the Custodian said, cutting into their conversation. “Security presence around the pump station is minimal. I think we can get away with not having a fight, especially when you stand no chance of winning one.”
“We always have a chance,” Carter said. “And I’d rather improve the odds, even if it’s only by a little.”
He drew his revolver, checked the cylinder, and replaced the missing round that he’d fired ten days ago. It felt so recent, but also a lifetime away. Carter stopped to reflect on what his life had become in the last cycle. He’d gone from being a rookie cop on an alien construct to being the author of every procedure the force was using.
He’d become a father, and rescued his daughter’s mother, and had potentially saved the Ring in the process. He’d explored an alien city, seen technology that would have been science fiction just a couple cycles ago, and met the most powerful being on the Ring. And now, he was on his way toward a waste water treatment facility, planning to dive into the outflow pipe to end up who knows where. He couldn’t help but laugh.
“What is my life right now?” he asked. “If I didn’t know better, I’d say I was in a coma, and this was all a weird dream.”
“From what you’ve said about your life,” Lenaya said, “it must feel strange. Everything is new, and different, and you seem to run from one disaster to the next.”
“Yeah, that about sums it up. After this, no more disasters. Someone else can handle them, I’m just going to teach.”
“I think I’m done being abducted and experimented on, too,” said Lenaya, watching the passage ahead. “It doesn’t exactly pay well, and the hours are awful.”
Carter burst out laughing again. When he dried his eyes, he could see a riot of colors playing across her skin as her own laughter died out.
“Well if you’re
sure you’re done with it…”
“Hate to interrupt,” the Custodian said, interrupting for the third time in as many days, “but we’ll be leaving the tunnels very soon. I’m not detecting any security activity on our path yet, but it would be wise to keep watch.”
“It’s never a matter of if, only when,” Carter noted. “Something’s going to go wrong, and it’ll usually happen at the worst possible time.”
“That’s incredibly pessimistic,” Lenaya said, looking back over her shoulder. “Accurate, but pessimistic.”
“Left turn, and then we’re in the open. It’s about a thirty span run from there to the building. I can confirm there are no security drones inside, but I
am detecting movement outside. No cameras close enough to identify the cause.”
“Lay flat,” Carter yelled as they rounded the corner. “Minimize your profile and it might be harder for them to target us.”
The hatch opened ahead of them, and Carter took the lead, his robot surging forward to burst out into the open. He immediately began surveying their surroundings and quickly identified the source of the movement.
“Drones, above and behind!”
He turned and stabilized himself, waiting to see what it did. The drone responded by charging the central laser, the lens in its core glowing a blue-white as energy poured in. It was quickly struck by a flurry of plasma.
“WHOOO!” Lenaya cheered, sending another stream of glowing blue bolts at it.
Carter steadied his aim, and just as the drone turned to focus on the new threat, he fired. The bullet struck the armor, detonating with a CRACK and a puff of smoke, and the drone turned its attention back to him. With a rush, they entered the treatment plant, the security drone just barely scraping through the rapidly closing doors. Lenaya fired another burst, one shot striking the lens of the laser weapon. The glow faded, and Carter could see that the plasma had warped the crystal.
He leveled the revolver. They were at close range, the drone was flying straight and steady, and the floor under him was smooth. It was a big target. He knew it was still a long shot. Carter pulled the trigger. The lens shattered.
The initial explosion was muffled by the drone’s body. The second explosion tore the drone’s body apart. Bits of metal rained down around them as their rides swerved to avoid the larger chunks.
“What did I hit?” Carter yelled, his ears ringing from the blast.
“Capacitor for the heavy photon cannon,” the Custodian said, increasing his volume to compensate for Carter’s damaged hearing. “It discharged into the fuel reserve, which caused the tank to rupture.”
“Rupture is definitely a word for what happened.”
“Detecting intrusions in multiple locations. It’s going to be close. Equipment incoming on your left.”
Carter saw the maintenance robot rolling up next to him with a small gas canister attached to a mask. He grabbed the breathing apparatus and pulled the mask down over his head before turning to see Lenaya doing the same. The corridor opened up, and he could hear the sound of rushing water, steadily growing louder as they approached a massive pit, ringed by a railing.
He could also see several shapes hovering above them. The lasers began to charge, and he knew the miracle wouldn’t happen twice.
Least bad option., he thought as he stood and started firing.
Lenaya’s drone caught up as the Custodian caught onto his plan, and he quickly became the target of choice for the rogue security system. He managed to score glancing hits on two of the drones, the rounds sparking off their armor and detonating against the wall in the distance. As one, they began firing, short blasts intended to kill rather than the longer burst that had almost melted an armored door. Carter managed to duck just before the first volley, avoiding the lasers. The air above him shimmered with residual heat, the weaponized light scattering and refracting enough to become visible as a column of energy.
Another burst of plasma from behind him forced the drones to evade. It seemed they were learning from their previous encounter.
You should jump, the Custodian said through his implant, and Carter crouched before pushing hard into the air. Below, he could see the maintenance drones stopped at the edge of the pit, the water swirling rapidly below. He twisted in midair, searching for Lenaya. He barely caught sight of her splash as she vanished beneath the surface. He saw a flash from the corner of his eye, and his back lit up with pain as heat washed over him. Carter hit the water as his consciousness faded.

Apologies for the late post. We’re trying to get the puppies acclimated to other dogs (and specific other dogs acclimated to the puppies) before we have to dog sit at the end of the month. It’s going better than expected, but our expectations were low so that isn’t saying much. I’m not going to have as much writing time over the next few weeks because we’re doing this every couple of days. Expect more delays throughout the month, and a break on the last week.

2023.06.09 17:00 Dear-Judge-152 Converting Pattachitra, an ancient Indian art into NFT tokens🎉🎊
Mate, Last week I had been to an art exhibition organised by the NABARD Group of rural banks [ a National level Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development] at Maleshwaram, Bangalore, India.
There I found this unique piece of art collection so called 'Pattachitra' which is one of the oldest forms of art existing thousands from of years, till today.
So, i bought my self some and thought why don't i share it to people who would appreciate it and hence came up with this idea of a blog.
Talking about the nfts, and its functions:
Firstly, The pictures that are drawn on the palm leaf are strictly based on sculpture carved around the walls of the temples, which makes it unique and stands up from those art which are computer generated .
Secondly, the origin of the art comes from Puri district of Bhubaneswar, which is the major hub for Pattachitra art, located in Odisha India.
Lastly, the ding about buying this nfts would be that there are about 700 temples in Odisha, which is also known as the land of temples, and our aim is to make it life time ticket free entry to the special VIP darshan to one of the most ancient temples in Odisha.
Pleasure speaking to you about this vision.
Thank you, have a nice week.
Jai Jagannath.

2023.06.09 16:59 BaronVonSwagworth Betray me after I help you with your work? Enjoy losing your career.
Sorry in advance if this is a little unstructured, it's difficult to piece together everything in an order that makes sense, and it's still emotionally touchy for me. TL:DR at the bottom.
Background is that I dated this girl a while ago. We met at university on the same (law) course, and English wasn't her first language (somewhat important). She was an extremely ambitious, very fashionable woman, which I adored - but this meant that she became overstretched in the additional things she had signed up for for extra credits to boost her CV lines etc. (Think of working on student society boards, taking additional courses, etc). She would be very stressed for months by doing so much.
Long story short, I fell head-over-heels for this person, and would do everything I could to help her in her career. Also perhaps important to mention is that she comes from a relatively poor family, half of which were immigrants to our country (in Europe) (in fact, I do too, we bonded over our shared experiences). For one particular additional course, she was really struggling with some philosophy and ethics (of law) writing. Important to know is that this course was part of what is known as a 'Pre-PhD' course; basically training and courses to prepare you for a PhD. Philosophy and ethics of law is something I know a lot on, so I offered to help her with it. Because this particular course was in English (In fact her third language), I ended up writing the entire thing for her (about 5 essays total I think). I'm a people pleaser, and loved to see her a little happier. But in my mind, it wasn't really cheating in a sense, because we would always discuss the topic together when writing, making sure she actually understood it, and she would then edit the structure etc to remember it. It was primarily the writing she needed help with. By this point, we were together for about 2 years.
Anyway, we were almost finished with our studies, and I went abroad for a couple of months for a traineeship. In the meantime, she finished the aforementioned course, and successfully applied for a PhD/researcher position (her dream job) in a city the other side of our country. I was ecstatic for her, and also very excited that we would finally have a proper relationship together; we had both been very stressed and preoccupied with work for the last year or so together (though I was far better at handling it than her, who would largely isolate herself from me in periods a bit too tough.) Previously, she had not done anything for my birthday, Christmas, our anniversary or valentines day due to stress - which I accepted as reasonable under the circumstances. (I'm a hopeless romantic, and not very good at identifying red flags.)
When I got back from the traineeship however, she was very different; like an entirely different person. Very cold, outwardly resentful of her last 2 with me, and made absolutely no effort in the relationship at all. After a couple of months, a few weeks of ghosting me and giving me cryptic responses, she essentially forced me to break up with her, because she wouldn't do it herself.
Turns out, she never actually loved me (her words), never missed me at all, and thought that I was useful to keep around both as moral support (there were many nights with her overwhelmed, and me consoling her over those 2 years), someone to fuck, and for helping her with work. I'm not certain if she cheated on me, but I was suspicious of some of her antics and the way she spoke about a couple of her friends. There are a lot of things I have missed out partly out of being unable to remember details, and partly because I don't want to dwell on it too much. But suffice to say that she said a lot of things were said that were made to hurt me - and I was, badly.
The Revenge
I'm not proud of this, but I was furious, hurt, and decided to try and retaliate.
At this point, she was just about to finish her thesis, and be entirely done and graduate (I had a few months earlier). But remember when I help her with this Pre-PhD assignment? Well I kept those files. Although she edited them a bit before handing them in, it wasn't substantially different. I knew this, so sent my copies of those files (with their metadata intact, so dated before the assignment was handed in) to the faculty confessing that I had helped another student and violated academic integrity, with the recommendation that they check their plagiarism software for evidence of a near perfect match. They did, and they discovered that the work for her Pre-PhD course was not her own; and she was disqualified from it. Turns out, her prospective completion of that course was a very important part of her PhD application - so she lost that too, and just after she had moved into her new place in the city with the PhD.
After that, and with that kind of stain on your academic record, there's no PhD for you - and she was very specialized in our country's national law, so couldn't really move anywhere else or switch jurisdictions, though she did end up graduating a few months later. As far as I last know, she ended up in a low-middle-sized law firm - something I know that she vehemently did not want to end up at. So it basically destroyed her life.
I do feel bad about it, it was a disproportionate response in terms of consequence. I didn't think through all the consequences when I sent that email, and probably wouldn't have if I had. I'm sort of glad for standing up for myself - something that I got a lot better at after this - but I don't think it was worth hurting her that badly. I've never done anything like this to anyone else, thankfully.
TL:DR - Relationship with girlfriend was totally false from the beginning, and she never loved me, and used me out of convenience - so I reported her for plagiarism at her uni, she lost her job, delayed her studies by months, and probably now hates her life.

2023.06.09 16:59 Jack-Schitz A Note on the Trump Documents "I Declassified Them" Defense
Just a few legal notes for anyone that you deal with that raises the "Trump could have declassified the documents" or "Trump did declassify the documents and he doesn't need to do anything to do so" defense.
- The Good for Trump: While I don't think this is realistic, i.e. declassification has to observe certain formalities, it is an arguable point that Trump could declassify without those formalities.
- The Bad for Trump: The Espionage Act (under which Trump is charged) does not reference classification. It deals with "National Defense Information." So Trump's defense is a non-sequitur. Now, this is a subtlety that is likely to be lost on the average Trump voter (who probably don't know what a non-sequitur is), but it matters in court.
- The Really Really Bad for Trump: Let's assume that Trump's defense is a valid one (see bullet 1). OK, well if there is no record of Trump declassifying the documents in question and no witnesses can be called to testify that while he was POTUS they saw him declassify the information (or none that wont plead the 5th), how is Trump going to prove that he declassified the documents in court? The answer is that he will have to testify himself to that fact and if he gets on the stand, his testimony can't be limited to just this issue (i.e., its open season/no limits). There is no way Trump's lawyers allow this. So I'm really surprised that every time this is brought up the conversation with a news host doesn't go like this
- Trump Mouthpiece: "Blah, Blah, Blah he had the right to declassify and he did."
- Presumably Smart Host: "Well if there is no record of this declassification, how does Trump mount a defense other than by personally testifying to the fact that he declassified the documents bearing in mind that once he is on the stand he can't selectively take the 5th? But if he is going to go that way, we welcome his complete and truthful testimony."
- Trump Mouthpiece: "Aahhhh......."
Cheers.

2023.06.09 16:57 Gold_Ad4204 My [29M] girlfriend [30F] of 3 months thinks she might be pregnant. I was more upset with her reaction towards what it means for our relationship than the news. How do I proceed?
My girlfriend might be pregnant. She isn’t on birth control but we have been using condoms. About a month ago while I was laying on the bed after a shower she mounted me and put me inside her and I came quickly. I kind of froze and the aniexty of the situation made me cum quick because up until this point we used condoms and I kept looking back reaching for the nightstand but couldn’t in time and it just sort of happened. I was upset after this because she blamed me for “not getting a condom” - but why would you mount me and put me inside you without one?
It’s about a month later and she told me that she thinks she could be pregnant. I guess I am a little upset because both her primary care doctor and I have been asking her to get on some form of birth control but she doesn’t want to and she also doesn’t like condoms. She is also child free. We both are. I don’t understand how she doesn’t understand that even with condoms if we keep having sex there is a likelihood of pregnancy. She has a doctorates from an Ivy league school. She is a smart person.
She told me that if she was pregnant that she would get an abortion. I 100% support her in that. I told her that if it comes to that then I would stand by her. What she said next really shocked me.
She told me that if she got an abortion that she would leave because I would be a reminder everyday that she killed a baby.
So at this point my brain is in a fucking pretzel.
You are child-free, don’t like birth control or condoms, but also think abortion is murder? None of it makes sense.
I further don’t understand because she was the one that told me that she loved me first and that she would always be there for me.
I said “Isn’t that the point if having of a partner to always have someone by you in life, particularly when things get hard in times like this?”
She just flatly replied “No”.
So now I am thinking does she just believe that there will never be a rough time in our relationship? The death of a parent, the lose if a job etc
That upset me more than anything. She left for work and is coming back later tonight. How can I put into words why that hurt me so much? Additionally, I am trying to give her the benefit of the doubt that she is just really upset about being pregnant. She is from another country and isn’t familiar with navigating the medical system here. Additionally, she has only had 2 sexual partners before me, both were boyfriends and wanted her to get pregnant so maybe she is afraid that I will ask her to keep it.

II p. 394)

X pp. 554-555)

X pp. 561)

X pp. 561-565)

2023.06.09 16:47 Adventurous-Ear9433 Teotihuacan: Purpose of mica, pyrite, mercury, Genetic Evidence for 2 founding populations
Teotihuacan was built on a geodetic grid system (a power center) in perfect sacred geometrical alignment with the cosmos to harness the energy of earth and sky. To understand it, we must go back to the original truth of the purpose. advanced design of Teotihuacan suggests that ancient builders had knowledge, not only of architecture, but of complex mathematical and astronomical sciences. The term 'Teohuacan' was found inscribed halfway across the globe on monuments in China, the term means 'place of the sun'(*our translation is 'Place to tie up the sun)Mercury, Hermes was the great Messenger, which also speaks for the planets quick trips around the sun. An aerial view shocked many researchers, but following the traditions we know what every pyramid was used for.
Circuit Board-Teohuatican with two large processor chips— the Sun Pyramid and the Moon Pyramid. . One of the most interesting things about Teotihuacan is the finding by archaeologists of the extensive use of mica embedded in numerous structures. This mineral is found 3,000 miles away in Brazil and it is found in all buildings, housing complexes, temples and along the roads so basically this mineral is all over Teotihuacan.
The pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan contained considerable amounts of mica in layers up to 30 cm. Human use of mica dates back to prehistoric times. Mica was known to ancient Indian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman andChinese civilizations, as well as the Aztec civilization of the New World. The earliest use of mica has been found in cave paintings created during the Upper Paleolithic period (40,000 BC to 10,000 BC). The ancient civilizations & their inexplicable similarities are only shocking when one has disregarded our ancestors traditions as 'mythical ', which is a mistake made by academics only recently.
Mica is stable when exposed to electricity, light, moisture, and extreme temperatures. It has superior electrical properties as an insulator and as a dielectric, and can support an electrostatic field while dissipating minimal energy in the form of heat; it can be split very thin (0.025 to 0.125 millimeters or thinner) while maintaining its electrical properties, has a high dielectric breakdown, is thermally stable to 500 °C, and is resistant to corona discharge. Muscovite, the principal mica used by the electrical industry, is used in capacitors that are ideal for high frequency and radio frequency. Phlogopite mica remains stable at higher temperatures (to 900 °C) and is used in applications in which a combination of high-heat stability and electrical properties is required. Muscovite and phlogopite are used in sheet and ground forms.
The Maya Codex Vaticanus records faithfully the very ancient oral traditions of Central America. In one curious passage it states that “in the First Age, giants existed in that country(Mexico). "These 7 who escaped from a deluge , arrive in Cholula and there began to build a tower… in order that should a deluge come again he might escape to it.” Nahuatl language it’s named Tlachihualtepetl (‘artificial mountain’). Originally it was named Acholollan (‘water that falls in the place of flight’).
-Olmec(Xi)-had two different religious associations (gya-fa):the jaguar-man or humano-feline cult and the humano-bird cult. The humano-feline cult was called the nama-tigi by the Olmecs, while the humano-feline cult was called the kuno-tigi..
Xoc Bas Birdman The Teotihuacan(
Tlalocan )mural depicts a range of mountains covered in rolling clouds and mists, below a brilliant red sky dominated by the huge figure of Tláloc, the Maya/Aztec god of celestial waters. Falling from Tláloc's open hands are flaming droplets of celestial water, likely representing the high-resonance isotope of protium, that overtly reference the ignition of celestial water vapor to form HHO plasma. The differentiation of celestial waters from terrestrial waters through the infrasonic evaporation of water vapor corresponds to special modern water purification processes involving the separation of resonant lightwater (protium) from dissonant heavy waters
deuterium & tritium The plumed headdress of Tláloc is comprised of radiating feathers of green and red hues, representing the colors of auroral plasma. Three arching red plumes stand out from the other green plumes of the headdress, extending from either side of the central figure and from the foreheads (pineal glands) of the two smaller figures in profile, representing the three frequencies of sound that generate nonlinear standing waves. Rising above the giant central figure of Tláloc is a majestic twisting Tree of Life image, composed of intertwining plumes of yellow/green and pink/red aerial HHO plasma that appear identical to modern photographs of the plasma discharges of red sprites.
Tláloc, God of Celestial Water, god of the vapor that rises, from the earth warmed by the sun after the rains, god of the mist that ascends from the valleys at dawn, god of the water that returns to its source in the clouds that swim over the highest peaks, god of the humid incense from which rise the copal prayers and the prayers of sacrifice Tláloc is the return of vapor that strains to rise, is the return of time that strains to remember. Tláloc, God of the Fight Against the Current, with whose aid the hero battles against the torrent toward his own origin and beginning, towards the wings of his soul, the wings that Tláloc hides in the hero's past The cycle of years is past - the waiting ended. Come - reunite, pilgrims, for the sky is in flames! From Xochicalco to Teotíhuacan the red spreads one step, another step, and another, only twelve short steps from the cave of the womb to the final conflagration The red skies depicted in the Teotihuacan mural are also directly referenced in the Pyramid of Fire Codex, when it states that "the sky will be in flames" that will spread from one pyamid to another, as the worldwide netwrok of pyramids and sacred sites become activated to bath the area in the brilliant infrared and ultraviolet-A light of aerial HHO plasma plumes.ancient, unknown science designed to create energy directed up is excavating the tunnel.
-The geoposition of Teotihuacan pyramid complex (19.68°N 98.83°W), reveals a nonlinear (or Fibonacci-based) resonant alignment with respect to the Great Pyramid of Giza, being 7,684 miles away or 30.9% of the Earth's mean circumference (of 24,892 miles)..which is also observed in the Paracas petroglyphs.
The Sanskrit descendant cultures of Asia express the same essential interpretation given by the Maya culture of Central America; identifying the planet Mercury as ‘the fast runner’ that takes ‘quick flight’ around the sun, having a short orbital period of approximately 88 days. Among Nahuatl cultures, the art of running was crucial to the functioning of society, enabling the rapid conveyance of messages over long distance.
Mercury is the link (messenger) between the gods (higher principles) and humankind. In the ancient art of alchemy, such as in Hermeticism, Mercury, sulfur, and salt were the Earth's three principle substances that represent the trinity in creation. As sulphur is the symbol for the active principle, mercury is the symbol of the passive principle. The symbol of Mercury is the cosmic womb being incubated by the cross of the four elements of creation - earth, air, fire and water. Mercury is the messenger in Astrology as it is in mythology. It is the planet of day-to-day expression and communication. Mercury's action is to take things apart and put them back together again. It is an opportunistic planet, decidedly unemotional and curious. Mercury not only rules communication, it represents coordination. Thought processes, ideas, and sensory information from both unconscious and unconscious sources all need to be coordinated and understood.
Ive said before that the mercury was used to accomplish communication wth the Gods, The fluid metal element mercury was extolled as generating the luminosity of the blood of gods, for its threefold biophotonic extension of human longevity, whereby adepts of the alchemical arts were able to attain long lifespans. Mercury was closely associated with its extreme volatility, which must be carefully controlled to achieve positive results. Mercury was considered an ethereal element for its low boiling point of 357°C. When heated above this temperature, quicksilver will rapidly vaporize as toxic fumes inspiring an association with quick flight: ‘mercury has wings’.
A number of the Mesoamerican pyramids there are key components designed into their construction that act as magnifiers. These components appear to be important in the creation, magnification, and distribution of telluric fields.
Pyramid & Scalar WavesEarly Irrigation of Teotihuacan Provenance od Limestone used in Teotihuacan Identification of Pyrite & Hematite • Water, either moving naturally including rivers or cenotes (found at El Castillo at Chichen Itza) or by artificial canals or tunnels, similar to the Temple of Inscription found at Palenque.)
• Geo-magnetic fields. Naturally formed telluric fields that have high and low period throughout day and night.
• Pyramid design. The specific pyramid shape appears to greatly enhance the telluric fields that pulse up and into the center of the chamber.
• Pyramid interior fill. At a number of pyramids, rocks that are good electromagnetic conductors fill the interior of the pyramids and are used to enhance the pulsing field. Rocks that have veins with quartz, granite, and other electrical conducting properties appear to be favored.
Characterization of lime carbonates in plasters from Teotihuacan, Mexico: preliminary results of cathodoluminescence and carbon isotope analyses Dr Burke &Dr Brooker research determined that each location had been chosen because of its naturally occurring telluric energy field that pulsed up and into the structure or surrounding area. Also Burke and his research partner Kaj Halberg discovered electro-magnetic signatures that measured impressive charges on top of the pyramid. In a series of scans, the readings showed an average change of 908 volts over a short period of time, which was concentrated in the early morning hours. As ive stated in the past, this is the ideal time for sungazing. The pineal, contains magnetite & creates its own magnetic field. This was once a universal practice at Sacred sites, in 2009 until Nov 2012 The grand maya council held 52 full moon ritual of the new cycle where we visited sacred sites around the world and brought back these rituals. Burke mentions the readings and states, “These voltages might sound lethal and if it were a household current they could be. However, static electric charge in the air is a different type of electricity and even a thousand volts is not dangerous.” His discovery of pyramid field generation is fascinating, but what he actually uncovered was a means of generating and perhaps distributing electromagnetic energy within a pyramid complex. Which aligns with the term used for the ancient Egyptians, the Great PrNtr-house of Nature, or house of energy).
Stanford edu-Native American & Polynesian population The
Genetic Evidence for 2 founding populations has constantly confirmed our traditions, the idea of independent invention is absolute nonsense. Theres an overwhelming amount of evidence, "believe" is a term unfamiliar to Dogon culture & ive yet to see the point in such a thing. If preconceived biases have clouded the minds of the majority, and they ignore evidence thats their fault. The age of the Fourth Sun, the Age of the Black Headed People (Aztec), or the Age of Heroes (Inca). This is the era in which Quetzalcoatl appeared in Mexico -- tall of stature, bright of countenance, bearded, and wearing a long tunic. His staff, shaped like a serpent, was painted black, white, and red [reminiscent of American Indians' mythology of three races of Man]. The staff was inlaid with precious stones and adorned with six stars.
-Between the 14th and 16th centuries during the Aztec era, Quetzalcoatl was worshipped as the patron of priests, the inventor of books and the calendar, as well as the protector of goldsmiths and other craftsmen..Shamanism, was invented in west Africa & brought to the Mesoamerican civilizations. The Aztec oral traditions say that
Quetzalcoatl & his followers brought these beliefs ,and came from the East across the oceans. This is now corroborated by genetic, skeletal remains, artifacts, you name it. Quetzalcoatl was just a High Priest of Anu. The Gold tipped spears,or as Columbus calls it ' guanin 'to the Indians of Hispaniola. Samples of which sent back to Spain on a mail boat, and the proportion was found to be identical to what was being forged in African Guinea.
Moche Reed BoatThe Xi(Olmec) were a mix of a Polynesian/Oceanic elite aristocratic people accompanied by priests of the Orisha(Yoruba)/Mende(MalinkeBambara)responsible for introducing the religious practices and astronomical worship of the Mother Goddess complex (Venus, the Dogon Sirius observation and the Venus worship of the Olmecs, the use of the ax in the worship of Shango among he Yoruba of West Africa and the use of the ax in Olmec worship as well as the prominence of the thunder God later known as Tlalock among the Aztecs). It was R1b-V88(Yoruba) that were known as magicians to the Mayans & local Aymara over in Bolivia because of their knowledge of acoustics, which they have preserved from the Nile Valley (Anu colleges of Heliopolis).
Again, we see Toward the end of the Fourth Sun, wars between the gods were taking place. [The Battle of the Titans?] The gods' war brought havoc to the land; wild animals overran mankind, and Tollan was abandoned. The fourth Sun had begun 5,042 years before the time of the Codex Vaticano-Latino 3738 (1533). The time the Fourth Sun ended is not stated, but the Codex was written during the Fifth Sun. The Fourth Sun may have perished by means of the Jaguar. The Fifth Sun is referred to as the Age of Kings by the Incas.

2023.06.09 16:36 JJan11PGO S14 Multiseason Leaderboard Analysis
I was out of town for a good portion of the end of S14, but I am finally back with the usual multiseason and daily leaderboard analysis. For those unaware, I put together rankings of an individual trainer on a scale of 0-1 based on their position on the leaderboard. A No. 1 ranking is worth 500/500, No. 2 499/500, while someone off the leaderboard earns a score of 0/500. Two different rankings are done – one based on every day of the season and another based on the final result of all the seasons.
Anyway, the Top 5 in Multiseason standings, now with 14 seasons are linked
here:
- Auburnnnn .8776
- ken80808080808 .7674
- Jason2890 .7550
- Doonebug97 .7313
- Ilqm .6520
- As mentioned in last season’s post, no trainer has finished on the ending leaderboard in every season. Only Auburnnnn, Ken, and Doonebug have only missed once.
- Since Season 3, Jason2890 actually has the best average finish on the leaderboard (61st), while dfhb1dwm has the best average finish since Season 6 (17th).
- Jason2890 extended his record for most consecutive Page 1 (ie Top 50) finishes with 7, with Auburnnn and dfh each having 5.
- Teammates in Silph Arena Factions, Auburnnnn and dfh extended their shared record of Top 10 finishes with 7 a piece. Only GGs489KAKAROTTO (4), Wankowanyooo (4) and HildeClash (3) have at least three.
- There have been 3,739 unique trainers to make the final leaderboard including 201 first-timers in Season 14.
Similar to the the last few seasons it was interesting that Niantic decided not to end the season with open great league format. Which generally results in fewer people playing battles. The Top 5 is below for daily average during the season.
- dfh .9388
- Angelper07 .9328
- weisarsen .9260
- KABIGONBE817 .8960
- yypon0xX1
- Guess who’s back on top? dfhb1dwm once again has the highest daily average of any trainer. Last season dfh finished second but was the top trainer in the four previous seasons.
- Season 14 started late in terms of the first leaderboard update. The initial legend race was over before the initial posting, leading to only 2,694 unique trainers over 55 counting days, which was up from last season of 2,376 but still down considerably from the previous four seasons (3,383, 2,970, 3,737 and 4,195).
