We already know there are easter eggs in the game that haven’t been discovered yet, and given how complex the hidden door in 1-3 was to unlock, I bet the others are similarly hidden. To get that one, you had to trade Ceramic Coins found in the Fractured World to Sparkly the Crow- so what if Sparkly has already given us another hint?
The Ring of Uneven Scales is a remake only item that you also get from Sparkly by trading a Gold Coin. It has a description that makes me a little suspicious..
“A traveler's ring bearing an engraving of a tilted scale. Raises maximum item burden, but lowers maximum equip burden. This ring attracts those seeking fortune who also wish to avoid conflict.”
There’s two NPCs I could imagine this could apply to: Patches and Scirvir. In the game, Patches’ dialogue after beating three archstones hints at armor and weapons hidden in the Swamp of Sorrows. And hey, guess what the another ring added to the remaster is for? The Sodden Ring. It’s description?
“An artifact from another land. Grants higher mobility in deep water. This ring grants freedom of movement even in the murkiest of waters, but does not remove other dangers.”
So we have two rings, both new additions to the remaster. One is obtained with a new Gold Coin item from Sparkly the Crow, the other is found in the swampy marshes in 3-2. The Sodden Ring is decorated with scales ad has a fish on its crest, and the Ring of Uneven Scales has a tilted scale on its crest. “Scales” in particular seem to be a theme with these two items, and I’m suspicious that this is a clue. But there’s another item associated with scales in the game that is conveniently found in the Swamp of Sorrow: the Mirdian Scale Armor. Here’s its description:
“White metal armour with an inner layer of scale, issued to knights who serve as temple guards. The first temple was built in Mird, a land that fell long ago. Its weight significantly slows stamina regeneration.”
So, could the Sodden Ring have the same origin as the Mird Armor set? Could Mird actually be the mysterious sixth archstone, a land that fell long ago? Hang on, isn’t there an NPC who hails from a far away land, and is also seeking fortune and avoiding conflict?
“You nearly frightened me to death! Creeping up on me like that… My name is Scirvir. I seek treasures of the unknown. I'm impressed you've come this far.”
Scirvir the Wanderer appears in 2-2 in PWWT only, and his dialogue hints at treasures you haven’t yet found. One of these is the Dragon Bone Smasher, also found in world 2 on PWWT at Scrivir’s urging:
“I would search for it myself, but I'm afraid I'd fare poorly against the Demons.”
Scales, treasure-seeking wanderers hiding in caves to avoid conflict, lost sets of armor in the Swamp of Sorrows hinted at by the other treasure-seeking, conflict avoidant NPC, and a scale-themed armor set sold by yet another treasure seeker in the swamp.
But I think there might be one more layer to this set of clues. Scirvir also mentions a temple:
“There is a temple beyond here, below the ground. It is a work of art, molded by the ancient burrowers to appease the bones of dragons.”
The Mirdian Scale Armor hinted that it was worn by temple guards, and though the original was in a far away land, Scirvir knows enough about the temple of the Dragon God to tell you about the Dragon Bone Smasher despite not being from Boletaria. AND Scirvir has one final clue to drop, literally. In PBWT, his black phantom drops the Talisman of Beasts.
“An old wooden amulet featuring a symbolic depiction of the Old One. Can be used to cast both miracles and magic. What was considered a depiction of God was in fact an image of the Old One, portrayed as a force of feral chaos.”
I think this might be enough to conclude that Scirvir hails from Mird, that he has knowledge of the Dragon Bone Smasher because the temple in Mird was dedicated to the Old One mentioned in the Talisman of Beasts description, and that possibly multiple guards of that temple may have also been seeking a treasure of some kind in the swamps of Boletaria, since we find their remains in not just one but TWO swampy areas: the Sodden Ring in the marshes of 3-2, and the scavenged armor sold in 5-2. Patches is also shrewdly aware of this treasure, but besides directing the player to its most likely location in 5-2, he himself doesn’t know where it is. The Ring of Uneven Scales and the Mirdian Scale Armor might also be dropping another clue: the armor is a “white metal armour with an inner layer of scale”, and the scales on the ring are literal scales for measurement. Is this a hint that the treasure can only be found by someone in a White World/Character Tendency?
Sure, this could exclusively apply to the Dragon Bone Smasher- but the remake only-item descriptions have me suspecting that another treasure in 5-2 might exist. There is one location in the Swamp of Sorrows that I strongly suspect might be hiding something, based on another remake-only item description, but I can’t tie it to this other item yet. I’m going to try to get PWWT on my next playthrough and test it out, but I really think there might be something there. We have confirmation of four items added to the remaster that haven’t been discovered yet, so if there are clues in the game, I think these items are the strongest contenders.

I just wanted to come on here and leave a good review as I know most people come here to see the side effects or read about others going through the same thing. I’ve noticed most posts on here seem to be negative - which I understand, but I wanted to hopefully calm some nerves by posting my review.
5 days ago, I got switched to pristiq, I immediately came to Reddit to hear / read about other’s experiences. Honestly, it gave me horrible anxiety seeing that so many people had bad side effects starting this drug.
I know I am only on day 5 - but I genuinely feel better. I went from having 2-4 panic attacks daily, extremely sad, defeated, also constantly in a state of panic. Day 1 was rough but I believe it was because of all of negative things I read and let my mind believe. Day 2, 3 and 4, I had 0 panic attacks. I got anxious a few times but never to the point where I wasn’t able to talk myself through it.
Meditating helps. Cold water helps. I will say - sleep with water on your nightstand as I’ve woken up numerous times the last few nights with dry mouth. I do have some insomnia but nothing too bad. Hoping it’s only up from here.
I hope this helps someone about to start this drug or has recently started this drug. Side effects are different for everyone - sending my love to all of this struggling. It will get better! 🤍

Hey everyone I am final year student started preparing for Gate. I am done with Discrete and Engineering Maths using the Go classes free playlist. Took my time with it did it for two months. Now I have got an intership for two months and by I will buy Go online course when I am done with the Intership in Aug using the stipend money. For now I am thinking of doing Data Structure and Algo next as it will also help me with the very few shitty placement opportunities my college provides. Please help me out with free resource for DS and Algo. And is two months of time sufficient for it. I am asking because I don't know if I am on right pace as it took me 2.5 months to get a good understanding of Discrete and Engineerig maths and to solve pyq's and all.
Any help would be really appreciated.

I'm (17F), I went to a kind of mental health center thingy, talked to a psychologist around 3-2 days ago, and we've talked and all, but she said she thinks I have Borderline Personality disorder. I'm going to end up talking to a therapist for the first week, did some blood tests, and then second week I'll talk to the psychologist again. Although she did give me her number if I have any questions or need any help. When I went and talked to her (my first session) I told her how I suspect I have ADD, as that is what I've been struggling with the most (focus, thoughts faster than my body basically, etc.), but by the end of the session she prescribed me Prozac, both my parents and even my brother are against medication because of experience of family going "crazy" due to anti-depressants.
When I told her that my main issue was focus, she told me how anxiety can be the blame sometimes without noticing, but the thing is sometimes I find comfort in the sadness that I feel for some reason, I don't know why, but it always felt comfortable and I don't mind the 'sadness' part of BPD if this is how it feels, I just have an issue with focus. She told me I can contact her any time of the day and she'll reply whenever she's free.
If I forgot to mention anything feel free to ask I'm pretty open on replying to anything even if personal.
TLDR: I'm receiving my blood test results today, I'm thinking of sending my therapist a voice message explaining why I think that I'm misdiagnosed. Thoughts on this?

I got a backpod 2 months ago. Used it religiously and saw MAJOR improvement. I was bed ridden due to costo and backpod reduced my pain by like 80%. I stopped using it as often and now my pain has come back almost fully. I also have a new sensation in the side of my left ribs that I’m sure I’ve never felt before. It feels like a sensitivity that doesn’t allow me to put much pressure on that side but isn’t THAT painful.
Has anyone has experienced something similar with the backpod? Am I just supposed to keep trying?

(SPOILERS UP AHEAD) Everything I will say in this post is highly speculative and is my personal thoughts. I must be wrong in some of the interpretations (if not all lol) because I didnt play all Zelda games and barely finished the game, so keep that in mind. I can also find out that the answers to all my questions are already inside the game, so...
Anyway,Zelda traveled thought time and reached Rauru, the first king of Hyrule to say that Ganondorf was going to wake up. Ok, HOWEVER, I keep thinking about these things:

1. Why we dont see the Light Dragon in BotW? If we assume that they take place at the same timeline, we need to assume that, in BotW, there was TWO Master Swords and TWO Zeldas at the same time. The only instance that there was two Zeldas was in Zelda II, but it was not the same person. And also, two Master Swords I don't remember seeing it in the series so far. The explanation that I've seen is that the Sky Barrier (stabilished in SS) was preventing everyone to see the Sky Islands and also the Light Dragon, that makes sense (in BotW it appears that the dragons crossed that barrier all the time), however, the most recurring hypothesis is that Nintendo rebooted the series with BotW, and I dont know what to think about this barrier in BotW. It would also make sense if when Zelda traveled throught time it created a time split (like OoT), where BotW and TotK ocours simultaneously (like the Adult and Child timelines). It could explain why we dont see the Light Dragon and the Sky Islands in BotW. This has lots of problems, like: we see in a memory in TotK Link and Zelda at the Kokiri Forest taking out the Master Sword from the Deku Tree's pedestal, so it almost confirm the existance of two Master Swords in BotW. However, the timeline spliting when Zelda traveled throught time could explain the absense of the Sky Islands and the Light Dragon in BotW without the need of a Sky Barrier and the events of SS.
2. Everyone in TotK remembers Zelda, is worried about Zelda, and remembers that she and Link were exploring the underground when the upheaval happened. However, why the Great Calamity and everything associated with it is almost not mentioned? We see Mipha's statue, however, if I do recall, that's about it. The Hebra peak still have the hole in it (that everyone speculates that it was created by a Divine Beast laser), however everything associated with it is all speculation. Sidon and the other three remember Link but never mention how they met. It is like everything about the Great Calamity was simply forgotten in the five years gap between BotW and TotK. But, if we consider that they happen in different timelines, we can explain that the Calamity (as we know) never heppened, and that Mipha's and Sideon's statues ment a different thing, that the champions and Link met through a different circumstance, etc.
3. Where is all the Sheikah tecnology? We can assume that in the time between BotW and TotK everyone was afraid that the tech would be used again by some evil being and torned everything apart. But this could not explain why the Shrines, Towers and everything that was not harmful was destroyed, because these things were not used by the Calamity Ganon in the first place. However, there is more: where is the Sheikah Slate? We could say that Purah and Robbie evolved it into the Purah Pad, but we know that Mineru inhabits Zelda's Purah Pad until we find her spirit. This could be explained by one of these three things: i) the Purah Pad is older than the Sheikah Slate itself, ii) Mineru's spirit was living inside the Sheikah Slate as well, and this doesnt make sense in my head, or iii) that Mineru's spirit started inhabiting the Purah Pad after it was created by Purah and Robbie, that also doesnt make sense. OR, if we consider that both games take place in two different timelines, we could say that there was never a Sheikah Slate in TotK, but only the Purah Pad.
4. How do the Zonai Shrines came to existence? We know that EVERY Shrine on land is right on top of a Lightroot, as if they are one thing whatsoever. We can say that the Sky Shrines came with the upheaval, however if we consider that Lightroots and Land Shrines are one thing, how do the upheaval explain their existance? Seems kinda off to me. If we consider that there is two timelines, we can say that they were aways present in the TotK timeline. Moreover, we can say that the Zonai and their influence was much more present during all of the TotK timeline. This would explain they being only legends in BotW with their ruins, but heavily present in present day TotK.

As the two timelines came from the same point, of course some things would be similar, like Master Kohga falling into the Dephts in both TotK and BotW, the landscape of Hyrule, the Deku Tree, and so many other things. It seems kinda absurd to say that TotK, a game that CLEARLY references BotW everytime, is in a different timeline than BotW, however lots of these things could have happened similary in both timelines, so much so that many of the things that TotK references from BotW could have happened on the TotK timeline as well. I suspect that when Zelda traveled throught time, it created a timeplit between botW and TotK. I know that it may be problematic and absurd, but Im trying to make sense of the many questions raised by TotK. I dont fully belive in this hypothesis also, and i hope that at least this was entertained to read (and sorry for my bad english).

I was originally going to post a tier list of badge designs but image posts aren't allowed on weekends, so while waiting for tomorrow, I'll ask everyone here about their opinion on the various regions' badge designs as a whole, because the topic of badge designs is subjective, like a lot of things.
For me, the ranking of regions' badge designs altogether goes like...

1. Kalos. Every badge has a 3D aspect and they all look really good IMO. Even the more simple badges have a lot of texture, so they're definitely high up there.
2. Unova. The badges here may not be 3D, but their shine, the animation of the case when you get them, and the use of space, colors and motifs make them nearly as good as Kalos, though this might be my nostalgia.
3. Sinnoh. Every badge has a similar design philosophy but they all look different and some of them, like the Mine and Relic badges, are very creative, especially when compared to the badges of today...
4. Hoenn. These badges are hard carried by ORAS, in which they look nearly identical to the GBA versions, but feature some mild texture and color blending.
5. Johto. These badges barely beat out Kanto's, because while they look very simple even compared to Kanto badges, the thin silver border on all but the Hive badge at least tie them together and tie in thematically to the title of the games.
6. Kanto. Every badge looks simple in design and concept. The Marsh Badge looks like a coin from some JRPG, and the Cascade Badge is literally just a raindrop. The only two with cool designs are the multicolored Rainbow Badge (though it's expected with a name like that) and the Earth Badge being a small plant that would grow in the earth.
7. Galar. They all look basically the same, just with minor differences to patterns and colors. The two most noteworthy things about Galar's badges are their puzzle-piece like shapes and the fact that they form a circle. A circle is what they become. Not only would it be impractical to carry a glorified plate in your backpack, imagine having to put them together, especially if one or more badges fall out. At least they're not..
8. Paldea. They're small circles with minimal decorations aside from the type logo on them. The coolest of the badges aren't even official, and those are only interesting because they have Team Star's logo on them. I'm honestly glad that the tier list I made didn't have options for Paldea's badges because I don't want to make a whole tier to put18 confoundingly similar-looking badges in.

Long story short, badges haven't looked cool since we left Alola.

Is anyone else experiencing connectivity issues when trying to join a friends world? Just recently I’ve been hit with a “Detected Lost Connection” error or a “Connection Timed Out” error when I know that my internet is working perfectly fine. My leading theory is that since my friend is running on a Minecraft that is 2 patch updates behind mine, there’s something getting jumbled up when I go to join his world ( both are MCPE - I’m running on v1.19.83 while his world is v1.19.81 ). I have to go out of my way by quitting the app, turning my WiFi off to data on, multiple tries, etc etc and it’s getting annoying now.
Has anyone else experienced something similar and perhaps found a reason as to why it’s doing this? Or is it that we are trying to “cross the streams” as it were by me trying to join his world that isn’t updated yet?

Hi! I (21f) have been drinking for a few years about once every 2-3 months, since about age 17 I'd say, with no issues. About a month ago, I got a drink at Applebee's. Afterwards, the inside of my cheeks in the lower jaw region started to tingle, then hurt. Like how a foot hurts when it falls asleep, but worse. Drinking water helps, and letting the water sit in my cheeks alleviates the pain for like 20-30 seconds. It lasts about half an hour total. Now it happens when alcohol even touches the inside of my mouth.
What the hell is this 😭

I (20 ftm) have been with my boyfriend (22 M) for a little over 2 years now. Our relationship moved very quickly, I moved in literally 2 weeks after we started dating. I have been SA’d by multiple people as a child and that was something I have talked with him about before this happened. The incident took place a little over a year ago(May 22), we were at DnD with a couple of close friends and they all had a lot to drink that night and I ended up driving us home. When we got home he was very drunk and started getting touchy. I initially pushed him off gently and said I wasn’t in the mood but he continued and we had sex. After he could tell I was upset and after awhile said “I know that you didn’t want to have sex, and I feel bad because I don’t feel bad about it”. To me those words hurt me more than the actual act. We’ve since talked about the situation a couple times and he’s apologized multiple times for it. He says he feels very bad about it now, and it makes him feel like a shit person. I told him it broke my trust in him and that it would be really hard for me to trust him again, which he said he understood. We’ve had other issues, but I’ll keep it to the topic at hand. I guess I’m looking for an unbiased perspective on the situation. I’ve thought about ending the relationship, because it’s hard for me to be with someone if I can’t trust them, but I want to hear from other people. He’s supported me physically/mentally/financially throughout the relationship and I guess I feel bad about thinking of ending things, but at the same time I can’t stop thinking about that night and what he did.
