I’m a Junior in High School enrolled through the CCP Program. I’m currently in the Associate in Science pathway, but I need to switch to the Associate in Arts pathway because I don’t have enough credits left in the Science pathway for a course I need to take (completed 6/6 credits but I need to take one more course from that section for a high school requirement). I plan on pursuing a STEM major in college, but am afraid that Associates in Art would not look as good as Associates in Science during my college application. Would this be a problem? Could I switch back to the Associate in Science pathway after I completed the course while I was in the Associate in Arts pathway?

Hello, I am a 22 year old student at Wake Tech, and I recently reached out to the school to try to get assistance in funding. I am a working student and I have a long story that no one cares to hear, but moral of the story I can’t get financial aid so I have to pay for school out of pocket on top of all of the bills, utilities, etc. that an adult has to pay for! (I do not get help from any family). I applied for emergency funding assistance and they denied me. They said I have to be experiencing homelessness or in the hospital to be eligible. I am reaching out for help- I literally can not afford to go to school and pay out of pocket and they essentially just said no. I wonder if there is anyone I could reach out to to fix this issue, I’m sure theres plenty of other students just like me who are struggling.
(the care center also sent some “resources” to me, when clicking on links most of the resources aren’t available, ie some are only available in certain states, not NC.)

I guess you get what you pay for, the website is useless, the course catalog is vague, and advising is impossible to get unless you go drive up there (they told me yesterday when I went in person that they have 1,000s of emails they haven’t read).
So maybe someone here can help on the last day to register for summer. The only ENG-111 availability is for sections with ENG-011. Can anyone just sign up for that?

hi everyone, i am starting summer classes at the rtp campus in person, but i’m very new to this, and i actually have no idea what i’m supposed to do regarding parking. am i supposed to buy a parking pass or anything? i saw online that i need to fill out the vehicle registration form and go to the office, but do i need anything else for that? and am i fine just using my drivers license or is there like a wake tech ID? and if there is, how do i get one? i’m just so lost, and when I ask for help on one of the campus numbers, i don’t really get a clear answer. pls help 😢

2023.05.12 15:13 Leonhart422 CSC-134 or CSC-151 for a summer class?
Deciding on taking CSC -134 OR CSC -151 over summer. 134 is with Hong cui and 151 is with Beniah McMiller. I'm taking Chm 151 as well, so I'm honestly looking for the easiest between 134 and 151. Any insight on the two classes would be great as well as the professors. Mcmiller has bad reviews but people seem to say he's at least a generous grader.

Hi! Does anyone have any insight into taking CHM 151 with Peter Heffner, particularly over the summer? How would you describe the course in terms of difficulty? Roughly how much time did you dedicate towards the class during the week? How difficult were the midterms and final; did you feel well prepared for them with the information and materials provided in class? Do you have any tips for succeeding in his class? For some background, I am a visiting student from UNC and performed quite well in HS chemistry. Any insight is appreciated!
