So I’m a guy, and I’ve been growing my hair for around 2 to 3 years with the occasional cut. I was very irregular with getting it trimmed. I think I went a full year without one, and that’s mainly because I never found any professional hairdresser who would cut my hair properly. For example, I asked one for layers and he gave me an undercut from the back. Long hair on guys in my country is very uncommon, so it’s difficult to find someone who truly knows how to do long hair.
But the most important thing I did was to make sure it’s oiled and to put leave in on it and make sure my scalp is healthy. I’ve been doing it for a long time and my hair seemed healthy. I use a product that’s essentially a blend of basically every essential oil as a serum and coconut oil infused leave in conditioner. I don’t use sulfates or silicones on my hair. When I went into this, I did my research and I felt like I knew what I was doing.
I went to a professional hairdresser for the first time ever, and really what I thought was gonna happen was that he was gonna give me a trim and an oil treatment and my hair was gonna come out fantastic. Little did I know what was to come.
He examined my hair, a lot. He ended up telling me that literally all my hair is split ends. He told me I have no healthy hair whatsoever, especially on the top of my head where my scalp is (pictures for reference). I sat there in disbelief and I just asked him twice if he’s sure it’s not just two different hair textures. He said it’s not a curly; every single hair strand is split. None of it is healthy. We ended up trimming more than I wanted and got an conditioning treatment. It seemed okay at first but then my hair dried up into what you see in the pictures above.
Now, I feel like I know my hair more than anyone, but I don’t even know if this is true anymore. I don’t remember a time when my hair looked or didn’t look like this. I thought my hair was healthy.
I feel like I took good care of it even though I didn’t trim it as often as I should’ve. How could it be this unhealthy? So now I’m here asking for a final opinion. Is this a different hair texture or a full-on scalp of split ends? Because this is what is going to determine if I buzz my hair off and start fresh or not.

I have tried just about everything to get the game to work again to no avail. I have reinstalled the game multiple times, I have deleted a bunch of addons, I have disabled clashing addons. yet whenever i try to load a single player game, before the map loads the game instantly crashes. if i do manage to get into a game which has only happened twice since this problem has started, it lasts for about 5 minutes before crashing again.
I have also factory reset Gmod and tried 64-bit gmod yet it still crashes just when it looks like it’s about to load.
im in desperate need of some help as ive never had this problem up until now. I’m completely out of ideas as to what the problem could possibly be.

Hello! In this post I'll tell you all about Factorio and why I want it. I am unfortunately not able to get this game for myself but hopefully there's a kind soul in this sub who can buy the game for me. Please excuse any spelling mistakes as English is not my first language.
About Factorio
You play as a character known only as the engineer. You crash land on an alien planet and the objective is "simple". Build a rocket and escape the planet. With only a pickaxe in hand you start off by mining ores, chopping trees and crafting transport belts and inserters by hand. Labs are used to research new technology and are fueled by science packs. Soon, you'll be able to make machines that mine ores or craft things for you. At the start of the game, things are mostly powered by coal but in a short time you'll be able to research and craft steam engines and boilers which turn water and coal into electricity. Everything in your base creates pollution and unfortunately, on this alien planet are, aliens. So called "biters" that have hives which absorb pollution to create more biters. more hives and evolve. You'll be able to defend yourself with a wide range of defenses such as turrets. Gun turrets, flamethrower turrets, laser turrets or artillery turrets all of which need ammo that can be crafted manually or automated. Later on, you'll be able to research modular armor customizable with personal laser defense, energy shields and more. You can also customize your world to your liking. You can completely disable enemy spawns or have them surround you right at the start of the game.
Factorio also supports multiplayer. Players can solve problems and build massive factories together, or they can go against each other in a PvP mode.
Why do I want Factorio?
Well, for starters, because it is an IMMENSELY satisfying game. With more than a 100,000 positive reviews on Steam, it has endless replayability, tons of QOL features, large overhaul mods like Krastorio 2 or Space Exploration for even more hours to sink into the game. It is a very polished game and you could find a bug in the fabric of reality before finding a bug in Factorio. I can easily see myself pour more than a 100 hours into the game. I also played the free demo for Factorio and after a couple of minutes, it got me hooked. It scratched an itch that I have not felt for YEARS after looking for many games to play. The only thing I was wondering when playing the demo is: how the hell haven't I found about the game earlier when it's so popular? It's an extremely well executed game and I'd have an absolute blast playing it.

From 2018 to 2019, I lost around 100 lbs(330->235). COVID happened, and I went from 235 to 275. I've been trying to lose weight for almost a year now but I can't stick with it and haven't lost a single pound.
When I lost my original weight, I could diet almost religiously, barely cheat, track all my food, work out constantly, etc. I can consistently work out now, but can barely stick to any of the others, and it's debilitating mentally knowing that I can't do what I used to be able to do easily. I can't stop breaking my diet, overeating, etc. Can I get some advice?

Hello and thank you for your time. I sold a pair of unwired bras in Vinted recently for five pounds and the person buying got them this morning. She left a review with three stars saying that she was disappointed as the seller sold the item as "new without tags" the clothes were washed and "clearly" used. I always wash clothes before sending and anyway I always wash anything I've bought before I use it as I think it's a basic hygiene thing to do. You never know where they've been or who has tried them on. I explained this to her and she said "thanks for clarifying" and I've thanked her for her message and asked her if she could remove the review. She has seen it but she hasn't deleted it.
I am angry, to be honest, because I don't understand why a person would assume something is used just because it smells clean. I thought that was a good thing to do from other sellers. It's not fair to be accused of something you haven't done but you can't prove either. She could have also asked me why they were washed. I don't know, but I've never used them, and I'm just tired of people's malicious behaviour. What do you think I should do to get the review removed? Am I wrong in some way and I should do something differently?

I want to study something but I don’t know what to. I am currently an SFA and make about 110k in Canada.
I do have an accounting designation but not CPA. Till now that hasn’t been an issue. I have great experience and generally clear interviews even though I don’t have a CPA Canada. The role I am in, the job description explicitly mentioned CPA and I was still able to get the job.
Now I have some free time and want to study something but I am confused if I should do a CPA or learn IT skills like python etc.
Has any one able to increase their salaries by learning IT skills? Is it even worth it? Is doing CPA now worth it? I am not sure.
I have a tentative target to get to 150k - 170K by the end of next year. Please help.

The movers removed all of the men from the rods to get my Tornado foosball table through a doorway and now I’m trying to put them back. Some are so tight that I can barely get them on the rod. Then moving them down the rod takes forever, twisting them and moving inch by inch. Am I doing this wrong? I feel like I would need to use a hammer to get all of these guys back on, but know that would break them. Any tips here? Tried silicone lube but it didn’t really help.

So I have PCOS but have regular periods, only the random late period but I am overweight and have some of mustache but not horrible (horrible for me but not as bad as some other women with PCOS). I would like to get pregnant once more but I already have 2 kids so don't really want to do the docto prescription route cuz I'm not that set on another kid but would like to attempt if I can find something OTC stuff to help. I think my issue is yes the insulin resistant but I think I just don't ovulate regularly. I did metformin and got pregnant within 3 months for my son but didn't help for my second pregnancy. I had done metformin for 1.5 years and the last few months added a rotation of letrozale and clomid and not until I did keto did I get pregnant with my daughter. Did keto again when I wanted to try again and didn't get pregnant while doing it. I did fall off the keto wagon the eventually... So besides just doing keto/low carb again just for health sake, any other suggestions?

so i got nose pierced on my left in early april, and i got it pierced with a needle and it was a corkscrew stud. whilst cleaning it about a month later i accidentally knocked it and i realised i had a bump on my nose which started to bleed, and the piercing had come out halfway 1/2 times in my sleep prior. the piercing bump got worse and my corkscrew stud fell out when i was asleep (somehow) so i bought an L stud to put back in (struggled with corkscrew, couldnt do it) and realised that the corkscrew was too big anyway (NAP nor experienced with piercings, just looks like it). stud has fallen out 5/6 times in sleep but on thursday i couldnt find it so i decided to just let it heal up as the bump was getting more irritated anyway. i was cleaning my piercing x2 a day with anti-infection spray and had begun warm compresses.
i want my nose pierced again in a couple weeks and ill probably get it done on my right side as i heard repiercing is very painful, is it worth wearing a plaster over it to prevent it from falling out whilst i sleep?
TL;DR - should i wear a plaster on a nose piercing whilst i sleep since my corkscrew fell out last time?

I was doing some research on Paul Arizin the other night (one of the few players to be an All-Star every year he played), and I found out about his post-NBA playing career. Basically, the Philadelphia Warriors were set to move to San Francisco, and after being born and raised in Philly, going to college at Villanova, and spending his whole career with the Warriors, Arizin decided he’d rather retire than move to the west coast.
However, he ended up playing the next three seasons for the Camden Bullets of the Eastern Professional Basketball League or Eastern Basketball Association, I’ve seen it referenced both ways. (It was later renamed the Continental Basketball Association, which was in operation until 2008.) He’d win an MVP, a title, and be named All-League each season. Stats are a little hard to find, but from what I can determine, Arizin scored 27.8 ppg with 7.8 rpg in 26 games in his MVP season. He won a title the next season with similar but slightly worse numbers.
So that got me wondering: is that the most successful post-NBA basketball career?
Some other players who played elsewhere that I can think of off the top of my head:
Cliff Hagan - final NBA season, 1966. Played 1968-70 in the ABA and was a 1x All-Star
Zelmo Beaty - played in the NBA til 1969, then in the ABA from 1971-1974 where he was a 3x All-Star, 2x All-League, 1x champion, and won the 1971 Playoffs MVP. (I’m not sure he counts though, as he did play a season with the Lakers after this so he finished his career in the NBA.)
George Gervin - spent a couple years in Italy and Spain after his NBA career, but no notable achievements.
Stephon Marbury - played in the Chinese Basketball Association from 2010-2018, where he would win three titles, an MVP, a Finals MVP, and was a 3x All-Star.
Pau Gasol - spent his final year in Spain where he won the Spanish League title and reached the final of EuroLeague.
Those are just some contenders off the top of my head. Who am I missing? And taking into account quality of play in various other leagues, who would you say gets the “best post-NBA basketball career” title?

Okay so I'm struggling with this and I do not know why I understand they all give speed-up but I have Winter Solider at 200K power Magneto at 150K power Loki at 140K power Baron Zemo at 150K power and Archangel at 200K power and I still lose so I swapped Winter Solider for Doc Oc he's at 167K power and I still don't even get 1 single kill how?? I mean I even swapped Doc Oc for Nemisis cause deathseed boost he's at 132K but I still get wrecked, which team should I build up to beat this?

I've been playing rogue for a few hours now, pre-hardmode. I know I don't have enough playtime to truly have an opinion on the class, but I'm already noticing some things that are REALLY turning me off of the class going forwards.
Notably, I'm worried that I'll have to completely ignore the stealth mechanic. I love stealth. I'm playing in multiplayer as well, so I can actually stand still to generate it during fights (this seems like it'd be horrible in singleplayer). However, attacking with stealth fully charged just... Doesn't deal damage. At least, it does about equivalent (or less) damage to if I had been attacking during the time it took me to charge my stealth.
This class just confuses me. On one hand, the weapons seem to lend themselves to high attack speed and crit damage, but on the other your accessories and armor are building up this "attack once every few seconds" meter that completely discourages spamming attacks.
I'm considering just switching to mage. Rogue seems like an interesting class, but I want to use stealth as much as possible, not just completely ignore it for the majority of a fight, which is what I have been doing. Am I maybe just missing something? Does it get better?

I'm so tired of the cycle. My wife is out of town and that is a trigger to party, but i have shit to do tomorrow and know that drinking will cause me to nurse a hangover. I'm so over the desire to get fucked up.

Some context, I am one of 8. My (25F) oldest sister (41F) has been an addict for a while. Probably 10+ years on heroin and meth. She also has a now 18 year old son who my siblings and I have basically taken care of his whole life. My mom got full custody of him about 7 years ago because my sister brought him to a known crack house which ended up getting busted by the feds while they were there. My sister has been on and off the streets for a while now. She tried rehab once and it didn’t workout. My mom is a huge enabler and because of that my sister knows she can come and go to my moms house whenever she wants.
It’s pretty exhausting because my sister will get sober and we will start getting close with her again, then she leaves, relapses, and comes back which means we have to start from square one. When she comes back she’s totally out of it and really mean. She makes everyone feel uncomfortable with her actions and words. She is very territorial over my nephew (her son) even though she has been in and out of his life since he started existing. She constantly is in his space and in his ear. If she asks him to hangout and he says “no mom I can’t I have plans” she will get all weird and say stuff like “I am your mother and I deserve time with you” in a super serious tone when in reality it’s just not that deep. I’m so sick of her coming in and out of our lives especially because when she comes back she is a psycho jerk. My parents have never really been involved so her situation has always fallen on my siblings and I. My dads birthday party is next weekend and she’s invited which is so annoying. I don’t want to exclude her because I know that’ll make her feel shitty but it’s just really ridiculous that we are just supposed to welcome her with open arms when she treats us like shit and makes us all uncomfortable. I don’t know what to do. Im just exhausted. I can’t help her and I don’t know who can.

Myself and a few friends recently broke away from our old clan as it didn’t feel like a good fit for us anymore, and we’re looking for friendly people to fill out our group with. Currently the clan is pretty small, but we have a few members in the US and a couple in the UK. We keep it pretty casual, occasionally run raids and dungeons on the weekends and GMs when they roll around. We play to have fun and don’t want to treat the game like a job, and mostly just want to hang around with good folks who are fun in the party chat. We crack jokes and poke fun at each other (mostly ourselves tbh) but do not tolerate any personal attacks or hate speech.
Most of us are on Xbox but all platforms are welcome. Use of discord is preferred as that’s how we usually plan raids and such.

I was recently hospitalized for over a week due to a manic episode. While in inpatient treatment, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The doctor asked if I had any questions about it and I honestly didn’t so I said no. He didn’t really explain anything about the diagnosis. My discharge paperwork says “bipolar affective disorder, mixed, severe, with psychotic behavior.” Could someone explain a little bit about what those extra parts mean?
Also, I do have an appointment soon (as a new patient, not the same doctor) where I fully intend to ask the same questions and more. I just can’t stop thinking about it and want to get a little insight here. Thanks.
