While playing the other day, it kind of hit me what would prevent players and groups from going on hours long rampages.
Long duration damage to both health and stamina.
So the premise is this, right now you have your health bar, and once you're out of combat, you start healing any damage you took, bringing you back good as new.
My suggestion is to add a second amount of damage depending on the attack that greys out a portion of your health bar and takes a VERY long time to heal back.
Even at only a couple percent of your total health, it starts adding up. Right now mega packs get sloppy, they don't care if they bite each other because they can just heal up right after you're nuked. Now imagine every fight reducing their total health until eventually the weakest hit takes them out. No more tanking forever or holding IC with your buddies all day long. Because each hit does so much damage, smaller dinos like raptors and pachies would quickly lose a large portion of their health, and even though they heal very fast, it would take hours to go back to 100%.
The same thing goes for stamina. Make things like bone break reduce your stamina. That one change would bring hit and run speed dasps into the meta, as well as giving anos the ability to escape, since they could tank hits while stacking bone break until the enemy's stamina bar is so small they can just run away.
Unique passives for dinosaurs and secondary damage like this is how I believe unpopular dinosaurs and subspecies could be tweaked, instead of flat numerical increases or decreases.

For those who have seen Across the Spider-Verse, can anybody who speaks decent Italian help me? I'm trying to learn what Vulture says during his fight with Miguel (Approximately 14 minutes and 20 seconds into the movie.) He stares at the city and says...something. I just can't tell what he's saying.
I was able to decipher the last word as being "Bellezzo" which means beauty but I can't figure anything else out. Either somebody knows what he said there or I'm gonna have to reinstall Duolingo. So does anybody know? Thanks very much.
Also as a side note, does anybody know what Lenny (the shop owner) says to Spot when he's gonna hit him with a bat? It's right after Spot says "Sir, please, just let me rob you!" This one is in English, Lenny just has a thick Jamaican accent. I'm normally good with Jamaican accents but Spot talks over him saying "There's no reason to bring wood into this!"
I can make out "I'm gonna rob your-" and then it's unintelligible. I mostly wanna know what Vulture says in Italian but it would be nice to know what Lenny said too. He also says something I don't quite understand right before Miles leaves. Thanks.

I had a theory years ago that D stood for Donquixote, while that could still be the case, recently chapter 1085 made me look at it in a different way.
I think the Donquixote family much like the Nefertari family at the very least are secretly members of the D clan, even if that name ends up standing up for Dawn/Don, a grin, a rising sun, a half moon, Davy, or something else entirely.
For those of you who don't know the book "Don Quijote de la Mancha", which is where Oda took the name from, here's the full wikepedia link: Don Quixote - Wikipedia :

The plot revolves around the adventures of a noble (hidalgo)) from La Mancha named Alonso Quixano, who reads so many chivalric romances that he loses his mind and decides to become a knight-errant (caballero andante) to revive chivalry and serve his nation, under the name Don) Quixote de la Mancha.

I'll rehash the points that made me think D stands for Donquixote from my previous theory, I think they connections would still be big hints that the Donquixote are secretly D members:
Gan Fall is a character that is clearly inspired by Donquixote de la Mancha when he's first introduced. His enemy is Enel, someone who very much like the Celestial Dragons thinks he is literally a god. The Ds are called "God's Natural Enemy".
Donquixote de la Mancha is famously known for his fight against windmills thinking they are giants. Luffy's home village is Foosha Village which literally means Windmill village, it was introduced in chapter 1 of One Piece.
People with D in their name are shown to die smiling. We have seen the last moments of two characters who share the name of Donquixote, that's Donquixote Corazon and Donquixote Homing. Both of them died at the hands of Donquixote Doflamingo, and they both died smiling.
We are introduced to another Celestial Dragon that is also named Donquixote and that's Donquixote Mjosgard. We didn't know his full name at first, and knowing how good Oda is at coming up with names and world building it always struck me that he would reuse the same name. Even if D. doesn't end up meaning Donquixote there's definitely more to the Donquixote name.
The Celestial Dragon Roswald remarks on how crazy the Donquixote family is, much like what is said of the Ds. In particular I saw a lot of resemblance between how Mjosgard Donquixote saved Shirahoshi from becoming a slave and how Luffy saved Camie and Hatchan from becoming slaves, obviously the similarity was intentional but what I found interesting is how it was perceived as crazy behaviour by their respective peers.

Their encounters are magnified by Don Quixote's imagination into chivalrous quests. Don Quixote's tendency to intervene violently in matters irrelevant to himself, and his habit of not paying debts,

The quote is from wikipedia. It doesn't just tie back to the last paragraph but it also reminded me of how Luffy and Ace have a habit of not running away from restaurants.
Several of the characters named Donquixote in One Piece have gone against the World Goverment in some way or another, particularly against the Celestial Dragons who call themselves gods.
One of the most famous quotes from the story of Donquixote de la Mancha is:

When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? Perhaps to be too practical is madness. To surrender dreams — this may be madness. Too much sanity may be madness — and maddest of all: to see life as it is, and not as it should be!"

I think the Donquixote family sharing D in their name would also play into One Piece's theme of there being good and bad guys in any group. In Smokers words:

Don't ever think there's any perfect society made by humans! If you think that you'll overlook the enemy! Don't be fooled by appearances!

It could also explain why Rosinante wanted to hide Law after he learned of his true name. It wasn't because he naturally hated D members as a former Celestial Dragon, it's because there could be some sort of connection as to why his father decided to leave "heaven".
On the other hand it is also possible the Donquixote family is entirely oblivious that their ancestors secretly had the name D. Just like Sabo became a D., it could have stopped being passed down at some point by the Donquixote family.
At the very least I think Mjosgard, Rosinante and Homing have inherited the will of D.
TL;DR: I think the Donquixote family are secretly D members. There are certain similarities with the protagonist of Donquixote de la Mancha, smiling deaths, and other hints that make me think so.

My name is Mark(alter) but i am not sure anymore. Me and Penny we are in our system some kind of job-alters we do our parts of our daily life. Almost decade ago we were on the crossroad and that separated us as system, some wanted family and happy life some wanted carier. Person that still resonate in our hearth as love of our lifes made us decide. Her with kids or she will be no more. Only memory we all seems to have is us holding her on the enge of the window. Last year i finnaly finished school and an engenier in pandemic and moved with 2 women friends to capital city. I personaly (mark) did stupid thing and got us in ramson for our nudes photos with face , penny is not talking to us, Matt steped down as protector and said "you wanted this life not us" , last straw was yesterday. Do you remember the crush i mentioned up, yea i live in sam apartment with her.. She is so great , smart , atractive but mental problems on her own. I undrrstand her pain but watching someone cut themself just trigers faaaar too many things. But i stood there garding the knife with my bare hand i long as i could. I am ok with bein cut , but cant watch others. and specialy those i a adore.
She dont know about us , one time i tried to bring it up drunk. But she fraked out abd we didnt talk wor 3 weeks. Worst thing is that i feel the spark and i could have become something beautiful. tl;dr: (Ex?) Best friend stops responding or doesn't follow through after saying they'll get back in touch. Is frustrating. How to approach?
Backstory: She and I have known each other for 5-6 years now, and have been/were best friends for 3 of them. We had our first big fight ever a few weeks ago, and it got pretty ugly. Since then, we've had intermittent contact, and usually only about surface level things. Last week we hung out online and had a good time. Then earlier this week we've hung out (again, online) and continued to have a good time.
The problem: She and another friend of ours are currently planning to visit me this weekend (this will be our first in-person hangout since the fight). To coordinate ourselves a group chat was created ~330-4pm today. The other friend was quite active and was asking her about carpooling, leaving/arrival time, etc etc. My (ex?)-best friend said one thing, which was at least positive, but then she went radio silent in the group chat. Meanwhile, she and I were having our own (surface level) convo before she headed out to an event ~5pm (meaning, she wasn't super busy before heading out). Before she left she said "I’ll definitely let you know when I’m headed home 😉." Spoiler alert, haven't heard from her since, even after she came back online.
I'm debating whether to let these things slide/act like I'm not bothered, or talk to her about it. Normally I'm laidback, aren't bothered by the small things, easily forgive, etc etc. But a big value of mine as a person is communication (which she knows), so when she suddenly stops engaging, or says she'll reach out and doesn't, it does bother me (again, which she knows). However, she tends to take any sort of confrontation as an attack against her, so if we do talk about it I'm worried of pushing her away when we have both expressed a desire to remain friends.

Its like any other day in the violent streets in Yeongdeungpo. The Union is growing at a notoriously fast rate, and it's suddenly popped on Charles radar. He orders Gun to go and take care of it, and just in case he needs help(lol), he brings Goo.

"This is so boring" Goo says. "Lets stop by that chicken place first!"
The Monster Duo orders chicken and sits and waits for it to arrive.
Meanwhile Teddy comes and brings it out. "Here's your chick-!"
He stops in his tracks almost instantly. Being a fighting maniac himself, he can almost instantly recognize strong people by their aura. And the aura that these men were radiating were off the charts.
He goes back and tells Gerard, "Hey, those two guys out there... do you know them?"
Gerard takes a look and says "No. they look like businessmen. Where are they from?"
"Don't know" Teddy states. "They're giving me really, REALLY bad vibes."
Gun and Goo discuss the objective. "The Union is a multifaceted organization that has taken control over all of Yeongdeungpo. They have schools like Ganghak, Yoosun, Daehyon, and Hyongshin under their control, along with their respective leaders." Gun states.
"Sort of like the 4 major crews? What a bunch of copycats."
"Be alert. Apparently all of the schools were united together and they all work under one man: Donald Na.
"He sounds strong."
"We'll have to go see for ourselves."
Gun and Goo leave Tteokbokki Chicken and start their venture to look for the Union. Gerard and Teddy overhear their conversation. "They're going after the Union?!?!? Are they crazy?!?" Teddy tells Gerard.
"They must have some ulterior motive for taken them down. Even so, just the two of them?" Gerards responds. "I've got a bad feeling about this. We should tell the gang."

Back at Eunjang, Rowan and Alex are sparring again, with Ben spectating. Gray is stuydiing with Eugene when suddenly gets a text.
Eugene states, "Some guys are here to destroy the Union?"
Ben and Alex eyes widen once they figure it out. Gray stops studying and listens. They all agree to meet with Teddy and Gerard.
Outside of Eunjang, They all meet up and talk about it. Teddy describes the two as tall, has glassses on, one is blonde and the other has black hair. Ben looks behind him and says "Is it those two?"
Surely enough, Gun and Goo are making their way to Hyongshin. Gun tells Goo "We should thank Kouji for sending us the coordinates of the schools. This makes things easy."
As they approach the front door, Hyoengshin students are flooding the streets. Grape sees them and says "who the fuck are y-"
Gun kicks him through the front door and he shatters through it. As he struggles to breathe, the rest of the students start rushing him.
Forrest is upsatirs and he hears all the commotion going on he rushes downstairs and witnesses something diabolical.
Gun runs through the students like play dough, swatting his arm back and forth and sends the students flying all over the place. He grabs a student and launches him at Forrest.
Forrest gets up and enraged, throws a wild punch at Gun.
Gun catches his fist and glares at him. "This school is too weak." he clenches his fist harder. "WAY too weak."
Forrest looks into his eyes and realizes with horror there's nothing there. Just pure, black malice.
I.... need to let the others know...about this monster. He thinks to himself.
Gun pulls Forrest towards him and hits him with a body shot that sends him flying up into the second floor of the building. He blasts through it, bleeding and unconscious.
"Sheesh! that's gotta hurt!" Goo exclaims.
"...That takes care of Hyongshin." Gun says. Next up is Yoosun."
As the duo departs, Eunjang watches in horror at the massacre they just witnessed.
Alex turns at Ben. "Ben.... what do we do?"
Bens face is shadowed with fear. "...What can we do?"
Ben hasn't seen anything like this before. Even when he was going against Donald Na, the difference in abilities and power wasnt this big.

They go to Yoosun. word has gotten around how Gun and Goo have arrived on the scene. Jimmy talks with Donald on the phone.
"I heard there's these two men running around wrecking everything."
"Yes. they've already got Forrest."
"Hmm. Interesting. it seems like even after all this time, we still have ants running around tying to capitalize on the castle. Stay on guard."

Donald talks with Kingsley. "Could they be from Mapo?" Kingsley says.
"No. Changhuis too prideful to go against our agreement like this. It has to be some outside source."
"Gather every executive and have them meet me at Yeoinaru."
"Understood."

Gun and Goo barge into Yoosun and starts no-diffing everyone without any problems. Jimmy comes along and attempts to sneak attack Gun.
Goo intercepts and throws a rock at him, which leaves a scar on his face.
Jimmy says, "I've heard about you guys. Guys who think they are the shit. Just wait... Ill crush you into a pulp!"
Jimmy charges at Goo and starts hitting him. Goo laughs and take everything he has with a smile on his face. "You're a feisty one, aren't ya?!?
Jimmy is baffled why none of his attacks are even fazing him. Is he like Wolf? No....even stronger. Much much stronger.
Goo then trips Jimmy and slams his knee into his face. As Jimmy attemps to get up, Goo appears behind him and chops the back of his neck.
As Jimmy loses consciousness he thinks to himself, Could Jake or Donald.....even beat these two.?
"Well that was annoying. But Yoosuns down!"
"So that just leaves Ganghak and Dahyeon... those guys are the stronger parts of the Union. Wolf Keum and Jake Ji."
"This is taking too long. I wanna watch "The Adventures of JoonGoo the swordfighter!" "There's gotta be an easier way to do this."
"If we go straight to the Union's office, we should find Donald Na. It's in Yeoinaru. Wolf and Jake would probably be there too, since word spread fast."
"Alright. let's go there."
So the two head for Donald Na.

At the office, Jake, Wolf and the Mok-Ha Duo are with Donald, discussing orders.
"They really took down Jimmy and Forrest." Wolf states. "That means they're no pushovers."
"Right." Jake says. "It's been a while since we had any sort of challenge. This could be interesting."
"ARGH, WHO CARES?!?! Dongha shouts. LETS JUST BEAT THEM TO DEATH ALREADY!"
"Quiet."

Donalds voice made everybody pipe down.

There's knocking on the door. Kingsley opens it, and to their surprise, its Eunjang.
"What are you doing here?" Donald asks.
Ben speaks up. "We know about the men who've been causing damage to all of Yeongdeungpo."
"They're really strong. Not even you could handle them by yourself."
"So why are you helping us then?"
Gray speaks up. "Chances are they're here to take over as some sort of new dictatorship. We just want to protect Eunjang."
"Hmm....Alright, White Mamba. Think of this as a temporary alliance of the Union and Eunjang."
So the Union and Eunjang work together to attempt to stop Gun and Goo."
Attempt.
While that got settled, There's a loud BOOM outside the building. Ruckus continues until a fodder comes flying through the door.

"Hey."
As the steam settles, two men with glasses come out of the frame.
Gun locates him and says, "You must be Donald Na."
Donald glares at Gun and says. "....This is quite the mess you've made. Do you really think you guys can handle the consequences?"
Gun smiles and takes off his glasses. "Well let's find out."

Meanwhile, Goo and Wolf are just getting started.
"What's up with your hair? are you a mushroom or something?"
Wolf says nothing.
1...2....3.
He socks Goo in the face.
He grabs him and attempts to take him into the abyss.
FACE! FACE! FACE!

After enough punches, Goo's glasses break. he kicks Wolf off him.
"This is so fucking irritating." "Who said you could break my glasses?"
All of a sudden, Goo sees a chair leg sitting around. He eerily walks toward it.
Gerard and Gray and Alex go and help Wolf, who starts to feel the danger.
But it didn't matter how many people helped Wolf.

Goo, bleeding and smiling, says to him,
"I think you need to be taught a lesson."
In about 3 seconds, he instantly dismantles Wolf blitzing him in angles that he couldn't comprehend. He turns around and does the same to Alex and Gerard. Gray realizes that he can't analyze Goo at all, and it's too late before Goo appears above him and kills him with one blow.

Meanwhile, Ben, Jake, Teddy, all attack Gun at the same time, which does nothing. Gun then Aikido flips all of them at once, sending them to the air. Jake gets up and starts fighting Gun, who isn't impressed by his skills at all. Teddy then grabs Gun from behind and him and Jake attempt to hold him still while Ben charges up a superpunch. Gun leans down and does a capoeira kick counter, then proceeds to twist his body and simultaneously take out everyone.
He appears before Donald.
"Looks like no one can save you know. You run a good crew, but it's time for you to go."
Donald attempts to attack Gun using a throat punch, and Gun uses Kyokushin-style strike to instantly crush Donald. He dies.
Gun and Goo meet up in the middle.
"They had a good crew." Gun said. "In any other circumstance, I would've taken them in and trained them."
"Eh, whatever." "Goo says." "Let's Go!"

A Prayer in Hell: X-Raided’s highly-anticipated Strange Music debut is an incredible, haunting masterpiece

X-Raided has been an underground king for over 30 years, releasing classics like Psycho Active, Xorcist, Unforgiven Vol 1, and Nefarious, the majority of which were recorded during his well-documented incarceration. After nearly a quarter of a century behind bars, X’s prayer was finally granted and he was released early on parole in 2018 and went straight to work, dropping There is a Storm (2018) and California Dreamin’ (2020). In May of 2022 it was announced X had signed to Strange Music, the home of legendary rapper Tech N9ne, setting fan anticipation and expectations at all-time highs.
From the moment the ominous lines of the intro begins, X grabs you and pulls you into the surreal, hellish landscape that serves as the setting for the album. “A Prayer in Hell” is a dark, fantastical refrain that showcases X’s incredible lyricism and unrelenting delivery as he describes his nefarious origin story. “He only behaves when ensnared in his cell, beware the evil he’s prepared to unveil, if he’s ever released from the place where he’s held, no escape, there’s not even a prayer in hell”.
On “Return of the Living Dead”, X likens himself to a “demonic angel” and tells how he lost himself and ultimately “became a dragonslayer in hell”. Next, X writes some “Life Sentences”, an introspective track that paints a despairing portrait of prison and street life over an atmospheric beat “Hard to change from demon to angel, when you spent the majority of your life learnin’ to scheme and finagle, when its glorified”. On “To Whom it May Concern”, X tells of the self-destructive and suicidal feelings that torment him as a result of his life of sin.
Here the album switches gears and begins a string of features with some legendary rappers. X stole the show with his feature on “Still Right Here” from Tech N9ne’s album, so Neena arrives to return the favor on the pulsating single “Stratus Fear”. Here the two rappers have some fun exchanging a string of tongue-twisting and mind-bending verses. Next, Ras Kass and X take on “Any Challenger”, a boastful, energetic banger. ”James Taylor, Carole King” is the mantra on the infectious “Legendary”, where X is joined by labelmate King Iso who delivers another signature highlight verse. Playboi Prada and Bleezy add some mayhem on “Knoccin’”, a street anthem with a beat that could have been produced by Michael Myers himself.
The second half of the album starts with “No1 is Safe”, another slammin’ single that X obliterates with his implaccable flow. The beat for “Celebration” is so laid back it could feel right at home on a Wiz Khalifa or Berner album. A-Wax adds a nice verse and hook to this smooth track. X-Raided takes it back to the 70’s with “Blaxploitation” a funky track where X puts himself in the starring role as a Shaft-like character.
“Villains in the Streets” is another standout anthem with a strong feature from Yowda. The album reaches its zenith with “Parasitic”, where X describes the dangers of gang mentality over an absolute banger of a beat. "I got you participating in genocide and you did it with pride.”
“That was then, this is now” the rapper declares as we transition to “The Bridge”, an old-school summer-time jam that has X reflecting over his childhood days. Joey Cool delivers an inspired guest verse. On “Ka-el” X dons the red cape and describes how he discovered his own powers: “It wasnt until I came down to earth that I realized, I was gifted, everything changed, my perspective shifted.”
“This is not a song, this is a poem” X states on “Many Apologies”, the final track of the album . “Seconds, minutes, hours, days” he repeats on the hook, reflective of the album cover that shows X sitting in a room with several clocks on the walls, an analogy for the despair he felt at never knowing when or if he would ever be released from prison.
A Prayer in Hell is an exceptional piece of art that is not only X-Raided’s best album yet, but one of the best albums of the year. The production is diverse and top notch, creating a chilling atmosphere that mirrors the intense storytelling and introspection found within each track. Moreover, the album's guest features are carefully curated and perfectly complement X-Raided's style. Each collaboration brings a unique dynamic, adding depth and variety to the overall sound. It's evident that X-Raided has surrounded himself with artists who share his passion and dedication to the craft, resulting in a cohesive and powerful musical experience. If you’re a fan of raw and authentic hip-hop, then this Prayer is a must listen.

Firstly I will state in advance I haven't completed the main story completely. I have gotten all the memories to get the Master Sword and three of the Dungeons. I have seen a bit more when my friend was streaming it as well. This is simply going to be my thoughts and opinions on the game as I've seen and experienced it so far as someone who loved BotW and Zelda as a Whole. This'll be quite lengthy as I went into a bit more detail then I initially planned as well as not being great at initially condensing my thoughts at times. There's a TLDR at the end with everything simplified with less details for those who want to skip what basically became a bullet point essay.
Firstly I will start with the positives.

• The return of varied Dungeons and Bosses. When I found this out I was actually excited to go do the dungeons and see what the bosses were. Though the divine beasts in BotW where interesting I was in the group who thought they were a bit lacking. The Return of Dungeons aren't perfect and aren't exactly like old dungeons but I feel it's still better, and more enjoyable, then the Divine Beasts personally.
• I absolutely adored the little caves you can find across the world and I adore the Depths and the challenge it brings. The Depths is such an interesting area and concept that adds so much more to the world and stuff to explore. Though I think there is a bit more they could have done with it but seeing as I wasn't expecting the depths at all I am not disappointed in the least.
• Seeing more enemies brought back from older Zelda games to add more enemy varity was such a needed addition and I'm so glad they did it. I was so excited when I first came across the likelikes and the Gleeok which seemed familiar but I didn't know from where and now I know it's from the first Zelda Game which is cool as heck. Then seeing the Gibdo as well. Was half expecting the Re-Deads as well but alas they didn't make the cut. It was just refreshing to have more enemies to come across.
• I quite enjoyed seeing where some of my favorite characters have gone or been up to since the events of BotW like Sidon and Riju. Even seeing Paya become chief as Impa has retired and just by chance running into Impa on my travels. I wish we got to see more of the characters we knew in BotW and more updates on how they're doing.
• The fact that your horses from your BotW save transfers over to your TotK save is just something I was pleasantly surprised by.
• The changes to bullet time where your stamina only drains when you fire instead of draining the second your in bullet time. On the point of stamina I appreciate the change of regaining a bit of stamina if you fall into water with no stamina. I also do appreciate the menu being a bit easier to get thru compared to BotW, though it's still not perfect but better and I appreciate that fact.

That's the main positives of things I just enjoyed about the game on its own as they are in the game. Now I want to talk about some things that I liked conceptually but not quite as much with how they were implemented into the game.

• Gannondorf. Was excited to see his full return and all the possibilities, even some of the early ideas people had of him not being fully evil even though that was never going to happen was still a fun concept. I knew he was going to be evil still and was interested to see where they were going to go with what I saw in the trailers. In game though it just wasn't anything even remotely to what I was hoping for while I wasn't expecting something as great as Wind Waker Ganon I hoped they were still going to do something interesting with him but no. Just pure evil becoming demon evil. Also that one face he made just what the fuck. Not the worst but just underwhelming to me personally.
• Gloom is awesome in concept and coming across it randomly out in the open on the surface when I was just trying to climb to a shrine is the kind of experience you can only get once without knowing about it in the first place. I love that defeating the arms makes Phantom Gannon appear. I don't like how it's implemented story wise and I don't like its name and I think that's where it falls short quite a bit for me personally. They treat it like it's something entirely separate from malice when it's basically a new form of Malice and calling it Gloom just doesn't really fit in my opinion. If they connected it more with Malice in the story and followed that threw line with it then that would have made it so much better in my opinion but as is how it's treated in story is just a miss for me.
• The Skylands or as they call them in game Sky Islands. When I first saw these introduced in the trailers I thought back to Skyward Sword and Skyloft and thought maybe we'll see some call back to the beginning of it all and get some hints or references to those events. Sadly that was not the case, at least not how I had initially expected, I will get more into the story elements later. All in All they weren't all that interesting in my opinion and some are just a pain to get too. The starting area is kinda interesting and how you can talk to Rauru at certain points but I don't feel as though it lived up to the Great Plateau personally.
• Zelda and the Past was a cool concept and idea they could have done so much more with it but in my opinion it just fell flat. Zelda felt so inconsequential and lacking in character thru all the memories and scenes you see of her and the past. The past itself felt like a waste as all it really did is retcon the Zelda lore, at least it seems so to me, and add another race as well as show that Gannon was always just selfish and evil. It would have been so much cooler if you had segments where you Played as Zelda thru the past as she tried to get home to Link and everyone else. Showing us a deeper look into the ancient race of the Zonai and their Culture. As well as give us more insight into what she's thinking and feeling as she's trapped separated from everyone. We don't even know how much passed between when she got stuck in the past and sacrificed herself. Instead we got very short disconnected snippets for the most part that don't tell us all that much and left me personally not caring about Zelda at all. Even longer or more cutscenes more closely connected would have been better but instead it just feels like Zelda was shafted so it was all on Link once again.
• I like the concept of what happens to Zelda in the end but how Zelda was handled in the game just makes this twist fall a bit flat for me personally.
• The Return of the Poes could have been so great but ended up to just be nothing more then another thing to spam A on. In previous games they were usually connected to some sort of enemy you had to best to collect and I think an Enemy Poe would have been such a great fit for the Depths but instead they're just a plentiful pickup that's all over the place in the Depths. Honestly just disappointing compared to what they once were.
• The Sage Abilities are cool in concept but in practice they can be a bit annoying and just don't live up to the Champion abilities in my opinion. I kind of like having companions to help fight with you but they do get in a way at times especially when you have to walk up to one to use they're ability and another can be in the way. I feel they could have been handled a bit better and aren't the worst but I personally prefer the ease of use of the Companion abilities.
• A more technical thing is the fuse ability. It's fun to mess around with and add elements to weapons to make them last longer but I don't think this is a perfect fix to weapon durability. Especially since it has replaced cool weapons that was in BOTW entirely and makes using elemental arrows much more annoying. In BotW you had Elemental Arrows that you selected and could use consecutively without having to reselect them. Now with the new fuse system you have to refuse stuff each and every time you want any sort of elemental arrow which disrupts the flow of gameplay. Sure it offers more variety in weapons and arrows technically but personally I preferred the old weapons and arrow systems for its simplicity.

Now onto the things I just straight up don't like and/or don't get within Tears of the Kingdom. If you've read up to this point then I really appreciate you taking the time to read everything.

• To add onto the point above with the fusing aspect of the game. The material system now that it's more important needed way more ways to sort thru things. Perhaps have categories of materials when you bring up the short menu or something so it's easier to find stuff on the fly instead of going thru a long list of random stuff from food to zonai devices. I just don't like how it's managed and handled.
• A small technical thing that I just don't understand is having to spam A to pick up Rupees and Poes where in BotW you just had to run over rupees. Why they made this change I have no idea especially now you have even more to pick up.
• Fuck you Zelda give me back my House.
• I greatly dislike calling the magic McGuffins "Secret Stones". I hate that so much it makes them seem so inconsequential.
• The lack of any of the Shikah stuff from BotW. Where are the Guardians, the Shrines, The Towers, the Divine Beasts, those pillars around the Castle? There's very little hint at the Guardians and that's it. There's no mention of what happened to them as far as I know. Like I can understand with the Gloom some of it may have gotten destroyed or lost but there was dozens of working and semi working and totally broken Guardians. Many many many shrines. Those huge ass towers. Those pillars by the castle. There is no reasonable explanation for it to all just disappear. It would have been so cool to see some functional guardians out working on your side to fight or maybe some in certain areas still affected and against you. Still come across ruins here and there but nope none of that really exist anymore with no good explanation on what even happened to it all.
• To add onto the previous point on things I just don't get and like in TOTK is the lack of continuity. Barely any mention of the Calamity, what you as Link went thru, and what Zelda went thru. There's plaques here and there that Zelda had made and some small mentions here and there but it seems like none of that happened. Barely anyone remembers you, even people the majority of players would surely have interacted with in BotW like Hetsu. No mention of the Divine Beast or anything. It feels like TotK is trying to be a sequel and it's own separate thing at the same time. They don't have to shove the events of BotW in your face but it would have been nice to see more continuity with the old Sheikah stuff and more people remembering you and remembering past events here and there. Even just the Sheikah part would have been enough honestly. Cause at the moment it seems the game is barely acknowledging the past game outside of reusing the map and reworking it.
• The story in itself is just not doing it for me. I don't care much about Zelda's part as I've stated in the previous section. There's just not enough to really latch onto. With BotW you are regaining your memories as Link so you see snippets from the past which makes sense they aren't completely all connected cause remembering memories can actually be like that. Yet it still gave us enough to go off of and gave Zelda way more personality and something to really care about. In this you aren't remembering anything you are getting memories without full context between them and Zelda in them feels less involved and not as fleshed out. We don't get to know the previous sages were at all or really get to know Rauru much or any of them really all that well. The story as a whole just doesn't work as well as the story in BotW in my opinion. At least what I've seen so far which is all the main memories and the one to get the master sword and what you see when the decedents get their stones.
• I'm just not a fan of the Zonai as a whole. I don't really care for their designs or the Zonai Aesthetic. I dislike that they turned Rauru into a Zonai when he was originally a Hylian. I preferred the Sheikah aesthetic of the shrines and towers and guardians/robots. I know the towers are Purah towers not Zonai but they are still kinda meh. In the trailers with the arm and certain aspects we were shown I intially thought back to the Twili and Twilight princess and thought some reimagining of the Twili would have been cool. I get that they may not have fit but honestly I feel the Zonai don't fit either.

Well I believe that is more or less everything and if you've read all the way to this point then just thanks, really. I appreciate it if you read this all cause I know this was a lot but I had a lot of thoughts. At the end of the day I still enjoy the game for what it is and still plan to complete it and a lot of it's extras side stuff. That being said doesn't mean I can't have critique or simply not care for certain aspects. For me there's a lot of potential in this game that I feel was missed out on among other things.
[TL:DR]
Things I really liked or loved were The return of Varied Dungeons and Bosses. I felt this was much needed in breath of the wild and I'm glad TotK have them. All the little caves you can find and explore and the wells to an extent as well. They made the world feel more interesting. I absolutely adored the Depths and the challenge it brings. I loved the return of more enemies bringing in more enemy variety. Being able to use my horses from BotW and the changes to Bullet Time.
Stuff I liked the concept of but didn't care for the exception of was Ganondorf as I feel like he was a bit weak characterization wise with missed opportunities. Gloom is awesome in gameplay and coming across it but how it's handled in the story was weak and should have just been an extension of Malice explicitly. Sky Islands the lands of missed opportunity as well as not being that interesting to explore. How Zelda and the Past was handled just feels underdeveloped, especially Zelda's role in most of it. The return of Poes is just a disappointing pick up with no interesting enemy attached like in the past. The sage abilities are cool in concept and it's kinda nice having pseudo companions but activating the abilities is annoying and discourages me from using them at times. The fuse ability taking away cool items and making elemental arrows more tedious to use also disrupting the flow of gameplay.
Parts of the game I just didn't really like at all like the lack of any continuity in either story or sheikah tech with all the sheikah tech basically vanishing without a trace or explanation to the limited or lack of mention of previous events. The cumbersome material system when going thru it for arrows or weapons on the fly. Having to spam A to pick up Rupees and Poes where in BotW you just ran over Rupees to pick them up. The Secret Stones being called Secret Stones. The Story as a whole is just lacking in my opinion and not as good as BotW in execution. Just not a fan of the Zonai as a whole. Also lastly Zelda stole my house and I want it back.

Jeongyeon: I first met Jennie in 2017 at an award show. Since then we have been acquaintances. Now I have never told anyone this, but me and Jimin went to the same school, and we hated each other. We even once got into a fight(I won). Although we don't hate each other now exactly, I can't say that we don't at least dislike one another. I have ran into BTS once, and although Jimin was rude, V defended me. Since then, we have been close friends.
Jeongyeon: So let me make it crystal clear that MALE AND FEMALE IDOLS CAN BE FRIENDS AND NOTHING MORE. This is a very important theme for this whole story. Me and V are not interested in each other, but im sure if photos were taken you crazy fans would be having a field day. However, hearing about the recent situation between Jennie and V sparked my curiosity. I had no idea those 2 had any relationship, and they were being extremely secretive. But after going on a 3 day quest, I can say that they are definitely NOT DATING. First, we have to go back to this Monday.
MONDAY
Momo: "Have you heard about Jennie and V?"
Jihyo: "Yes I have... They must be dating."
Jeongyeon: "Woah, woah, woah, I wouldn't go as far and say that. I don't think so..."
Momo: "What makes you say that?"
Jeongyeon: " I'm saying that because I know both of them. I haven't heard anything. We can't jump to any conclusions yet..."
Jihyo: "True, why don't you go and just text both of them and see what's up?"
Jeongyeon: "I can't just ask them that! They'll think im invading their privacy."
Momo: "Jeongyeons right, you can't just be so direct. There's not much we can really do."
Jihyo: "Well im not gonna just take that for an answer! Somethings up and I wanna know!"
Jeongyeon: "Well, there is someone I know who can help us out..."
-50 minutes later-
The trio opened the wooden door which revealed a mysterious colorful hallway. Jeongyeon led the way, pushing aside a blue star curtain which led to a new room.
Rosé sat on a pink throne coated with rubies. Heart statues, love symbols and spiritual objects coated the hexagon shaped room like stars in the sky. The room was dimly lit by neon led light strips in the shape of hearts on the wall, spewing a deep purple-pink.
Rosé: "What is it that you have journeyed here for?"
Jeongyeon: "We need info on what is going on between your group mate Jennie and V of Bts."
Rosé: "That situation is a huge mystery that my power can't even fully understand, miss. I possesses the power to make anyone I want to fall out of love and break up. I can make love potions and charms. I can look into someone's heart, and see who they desire, if anyone. But Jennie's heart is a special case. Taehyung is in there, yes. But how much of him I don't know. For all I know they could just be acquaintances.."
Momo: "But you like her sister! Hasn't she told you anything?!?"
Rosé: "Naur, not even a murmur. But my power tells me that there is a connection, though potentially small."
Jihyo: "I see. Thankyou for your time Rosé, we appreciate it."
Rosé: " It's my pleasure"
Jihyo Jeongyeon and Momo left Rosé's building and entered the busy city.
Jihyo: "You've gotta be kidding! Even the mastermind of love can't even shed any light. This us pointless, let's just go home."
TUESDAY
Jeongyeon: I can give up, but I won't. I have to prove that they aren't dating.
Dahyun entered the room.
Dahyun: "Hey Jeongyeon, doing something?"
Jeongyeon: "Oh, not much really-
Dahyun: "I know what you've been up to and what you want, if you want answers follow me."
Jeongyeon: how did she know!?!?
Dahyun drove Jeongyeon to a remote grassy area blanked by a dark status cloud. Finally, they stopped at a worn, dirty, tiny house that looked like it came from a horror movie.
Jeongyeon: "Dahyun, are you sure this will help?"
Dahyun: "Positive, I wouldn't trick you"
They entered the suspicious house, only to be met with a young girl no older than 18.
Sophie: " OH. MY. GOSH. ARE YOU DAHYUNA AND JEONGYEON FROM TWICE? IM SOPHIE AND IM YOUR BIGGEST FAN!!!"
Jeongyeon: "HI Sophie, it's nice to meet you!"
Jeongyeon smiled cheerfully, while Dahyun rolled her eyes.
Dahyun: "You can cut the act already, we need info."
Sophie's tone changed dramatically.
Sophie: "Ugh, your no fun, whaddya want?"
It was at this moment Jeongyeon learned the truth. Sophie was a Sasaeng.
Dahyun: "We need to know everything there is about Jennie and V, can you help us?"
Sophie: "Whats in it for me?"
Jeongyeon: "I can tell you about my history with Jimin."
Sophie: "Deal. Now not to brag, but I was the one who took that precious video of those 2 love-birds."
Jeongyeon:"YOU WHAT!?!? WHY DID YOU SHARE THAT?"
Sophie: "Zip it ajumma. Anyways, I heard them talking. Apparently they were talking about candy and a time machine idk."
Dahyun: "That makes no sense?"
Sophie: "That's what I thought to, until I saw where they were going. They entered a secret tunnel. I tried following them, but it's like they just- vanished after making the first turn. I'm still confused on what they are doing though.."
Jeongyeon: "Well, V told me once that he has a passion for time travel, maybe they are making a time machine?"
Sophie: "But what does Jennie have to do with that?"
Dahyun: "Her solo.... I was spying on YG and I heard her screaming saying that her solo comeback was destroyed."
Jeongyeon: "When was this?"
Dahyun: "May 15th."
Jeongyeon: "That's right before the video was taken... it makes so much since now. Jennies solo was deleted, so now she is trying to reverse time with the help of V..."
Dahyun: "But why were they talking about candy..."
Jeongyeon: " That - I don't know..."
Sophie: "Alright times up im done, now where's my payment?"
Jeongyeon: "On second thought, I don't think I will tell you anything after you called me Ajumma.."
Sophie: "Oh great! I guess I'll just stop telling your friend Dahyun here everything I know about idols"
Dahyun: "Jeongyeon!! Tell her the story!!"
Jeongyeon: " Alright, fine."
WEDNESDAY
Jeongyeon: I'm so close to figuring everything out
Jeongyeon met with Momo, Jihyo, Dahyun, and Rosé. The 5 of them were determined to get to the bottom of the situation.
They traveled to the tunnel. The suns rays tried their hardest to reach down the walls of the dark cave, but they gave up after 50 feet. Besides the sun, dim white lights poorly illuminated the tunnel every 20 meters. The 5 of them braved down the ominous, uninviting, damp hall. Suddenly they were met with a T shaped intersection. They could turn left or right. Sophie did not say what direction Jennie and V turned.
Jeongyeon: "We split up. Me and Rosé will go left, and the rest can go right. Let's meet up here In 30 minutes."
And with that, Jeongyeon and Rosé walked on for another 15 minutes, until finally, they found a door. They opened it, revealing a large high tech room, with wires and buttons everywhere. The place was a mess, with boxes and paper everywhere, levers sticking out at the most random spots. Candy wrappers sprinked the floor like confetti. Most Jarring was the giant machine in the middle, a metal disk with a 3 meter diameter, and wires connected everywhere. Metal boxes held the thing together, and a huge lever labeled "start" stood on top.
Jeongyeon: "This is it...."
Rosé: "Well no shit-"
Jeongyeon reached for her phone to call the others, before the door swung open.
Jennie and V.
V: "What the hell are you two doing?!?!?"
Jennie: "Rosé? Jeongyeon? How did you find this place?!?!"
Jeongyeon: "Better question is, what are YOU two doing. This is some mad scientist shit."
Jennie sighed.
Jennie: "This is our project... I know we have been secretive, but it's no use hiding anything now. I never thought i would meet someone with such a passion for science as me but then I met V. He is such a bright mind, and together, we made this..."
V: "This is the electrobit 7000. Here's what it does."
V flipped the switch.
V: "you might wanna step back..."
Suddenly, an electric arc appeared between the metal ring, spinning and glowing fiercely. It turned into a white circle. Unexpectedly, a variety of candies erupted from the machine, and landed In a box before the machine shut down.
Rosé: "That's it?"
Jeongyeon: "It spawns candy? It's not a time machine?"
Jennie: "Time machine, we haven't even started making the design for that yet! No this is just something fun we build together. Halloween is gonna be fun now that we have infinite candy."
V: "Now why would you bring up a time machine?"
Jeongyeon: "That's what the Sasaeng who recorded the video said you were talking about."
V: "Oh, I think she means our Thyme machine. We were working on it just that night. It's a real shame we got caught together."
Jeongyeon: "But Jennie, what's this about your solo being destroyed?"
Jennie: "I'm guessing Dahyun told you? It's okay my producer had a backup saved. I was just screaming in the moment."
Rosé: "Well I gotta say Jeongyeon, you and Dahyun really fucked up huh."
Jeongyeon: "Don't act like you didn't believe it. Well o must say, I'm sorry for all this, sneaking into your lab and all."
V: "Don't worry about it, just please don't tell anyone. And also show me who took the video, so I remember"
And with that, the truth was revealed, and Jeongyeon could finally go back home with the full story of what happened.
Jeongyeon: So this brings us to now. Jennie and V are not dating. They are just friends, and would like to be called that. I'm sharing this so that everyone knows the FULL STORY. Jennie and V have decided they are ready to let people know about their lab, so it is okay for me to share this.

I’ll just start off with this is the first time iv talked about any of this with strangers. I 27 female I guess wasn’t given a good life from the day I was born . Bio mom was in the mental hospital and grandparents just called the cousin to take me . For a year or two I was tossed back and forth. Bio mom tried smothering me she abandoned me and family finding me multiple times left alone for days still in my car seat cover in feces and bleeding rashes . Well my cousin decided to adopt me. Yay right I was young enough I should have never known the truth. Well it turned out she adopted me for the money and later on given to her husband for a wedding gift. From around 2 or 3 till I was a preteen around 9 or 10 years he raped me . At first I was told it was a secret game for daddy’s and daughters. And then I started to refuse. He would beat me, hold guns or knifes to my throat or anywhere on me . Threaten to kill my younger siblings and mom. He even let his friends have fun with me and carve me up . I finally told and he went to prison. My mom changed that day from loving me to hating me for destroying her family . She would call me wh*** and sl** and taught my younger siblings to do the same . I was raised anyone of them could beat me but I better not raise my hand . It was my job to do. All house work while she drank away . By the time I was 14 I was kicked out over 100 times . I would call cps the teachers the bus drivers random people but some how they never listened . Cps failed me . By the time I was 16 I started fight back but then beat me harder. she took me out of school after I turned 16 . I was raised to be a good house wife with no freedom I wasn’t and still struggling to learn how to drive and I hate it . She finally kicked me out at 18 and I thought I was free. Until she got sick and at that age all I saw was omg my moms sick and my younger siblings need me .I thought she couldn’t hurt me now she’s to week. So since I was raised to take care of everybody else I did just that. I got my first job with a family member but when I started working to much she kicked me out again and dropped the biggest bomb she’ll ever. She adopted me only for the money and for a wedding gift for her husband. I destroyed her family and that she wishes he would have just sold me like she wanted. I left devastated. She harassed me until she died a few weeks later. I was so torn up . Do I hate her do I love her. Did she ever love me . Was she lieing or being truthful? I’ll never know . After she died my family decided I was to get married and got rid of me . I was so deep in depression I did what they all said my body went on auto pilot it knew listening would keep me safe. My ex husband refused to let me work and messed up paper work so I still can’t get a job . Refused to teach me how to drive or even help me. He wanted a perfect house wife . I left him the only plus . My depression broke I guess you could say and I got away I’m still struggling to divorce him and trying to get it to where I can drive and get a job . But i don’t know what to do most days . I’m so lost. It was drilled into me my job was to take care of everyone else but myself . One night it was a bad bad hurricane I made myself food before everyone else . She locked me outside and told me I better find somewhere to go and hold on . She didn’t let me back in the house until the next day . Another time I used some money I earned to get me some shampoo . She beat me bad that day and gave it away. But if u met her off the street she was the kindest person to you and would pretend she had a heart of gold but to me she was a demon and I thought for the longest time it was normal I deserved it . I still struggle with it . I don’t do therapy or anything I can’t afford it . I feel worthless most days . I remember having such big dreams and she crushed them . I feel as if I’m a waste of a person . I have anxiety and panic attacks like crazy . I have flash backs where it’s like im a kid again I can feel his skin smell his cologne I can smell the beer off my moms breath . My boyfriend has had to wake me up because I’ll be screaming and crying and just swinging away in my sleep . I can’t stand public places my mother raised us in a bar . She would broadcast what her husband did to me to get sympathy. Everyone knew what happened to me by him even if I never met them why because my mom wanted things from them free. She used what he did as a cash making story . It was horrible it’s hard to be in stores or anywhere alone I fight panic attack’s constantly it’s suffocating

So, I watch a lot of Youtube videos about Dying Light 2 and more specifically videos talking about the differences between Dying Light 1 & 2. While watching these videos, one common complaint I keep seeing is that the nights in DL1 are way darker than DL2 and therefore, way scarier.
While it is a criticism I do agree with, the nights being pretty bright in DL2 is a very realistic detail that a lot of people forget about in their arguments. Because the game takes place 15 years after the virus escaped into the world, major cities and towns have been almost completly wiped out save for a few exeptions like Villador, which means very little light is being emitted into the night sky from big cities and skyscrapers, therefore less light pollution which means clearer skies, therefore the stars, Moon, and the galaxy itself will cast more light onto the surface of Earth, meaning the nights will be brighter.
Also, it would make sense that a Pilgrim, like Aiden, would have their eyesight more attuned to the dark to be able to detect danger in a dark zone or at night if they couldn't find a safe place to bunker down in time. Especially after 15 years of hiding/running from and fighting the infected. So Aiden will be able to see clearer in the night than any normal survivor.
Meanwhile, DL1 takes place in 2016 and only Harran and it's countryside are affected by the virus, which means the rest of the world is still fine, atleast until 2023. So. the light pollution would still be there meaning less light reaching the surface, ergo darker nights.
Again, a valid criticism about the nighttime that I do agree with, but at the same time it shows that Techland put a lot of thought into what the world, and nighttime, would look like years after the fall of humanity and shows that they really care about small details like that.
I just wanted to get my thoughts on this out into the world so please leave your thoughts on the nights in DL2 and/or this rant in the comments, I would love to hear what you guys think about either or.

I'll keep the story as short as i can, as it's very long. I was bullied in school for 7 years straight. The kids in my class teamed up against me. I was just different. At the time i was into science, space and stuff like that while other kids my age were playing, having fun. And i had strict parents so other kids had video games on their phones, could go out late and other stuff like that which also made me standout. I wanted to make friends but didn't know how and eventually they just teamed up against me and i couldn't do much. I couldn't fight back as I would get suspended. Even my own parents didn't believe me that i was the one bullied, not the bully. A few years into the bullying, my grand grandma died. Then my grandma that lives in the same house as me died too. At this point i didn't really care about the bullying anymore. At some point i even started liking physical torture, it made me forget about the pain inside. That's when i found out about gym and started going consistently. Fast forward to a few years later. At this point even more bad things started happening. My grandpa died, i injured myself, I didn't have friends left, i was all alone, hated by people, judged, even by my own parents. That's where the main part starts. I was playing video games a lot, as i didn't wanna have to do much with reality. I was watching a youtube video on a game i liked, and commented on it. A bit later I got a response from someone, let's call her Jessica for the story. We talked a bit and arranged to play later on together. We played and had a good time and that's when we started playing more and more and spending more and more time together. Everything was going good until... So, in the game we were playing, you can add people as friends, but i liked being at 0, as some youtuber i liked did that too. So i unfriended her without telling her, and as she had bought something for us in the game she thought i just had veen using her for it. But we cleared it up and everything went on well again. We had a few more arguments here and there, mostly about her assuming i did something I didn't do, I don't remember all of them specifically. Forward to October, November last year. That's when all the Tate stuff, focus on yourself stuff started bombing social media. I had torn my muscle and wasn't able to go gym for a year, had a lot of bad stuff happen, was mentally unstable, so that's when all of it came in. I had never had an idol, but that's when things changed. I thought it could help me get out of depression, be happy and etc. So i started spending less and less time with her, which led to us having more arguments, so then i started lying to avoid them. I was roughly spending an hour on her a day. One day when we played for around an hour or a bit less, i told her i had to go to do business. I'm not sure what happened, but i think my friend called me to play, I haven't played with him for weeks so i went in and played, forgetting about what i told her. That's when i got blocked. The only msg from her before blocking me was "Nice". I didn't know what to think. A few days passed and i realized what i had done. I remembered her being jealous, giving hints that she loves me. I was so dumb. I loved her secretly too. (We both couldn't confess as we have a big age difference, and we couldn't be sure how we will react). I felt very bad, I knew what i had done and that i can't change it now. I thought of commiting suicide everyday. A week later I promissed to myself to either spend my life with her or alone. Never leave her. Confess to her. Stop lying to avoid arguments. I went on a comment she had left on one video and replied to it, hoping she sees it and comes back. I didn't get any response until February. I found out she had actually not seen it and has been msging me on the game we were playing, but I don't check those msgs so I didn't see it. She added me back on discord again and we chatted about it. Slowly after a few weeks i confessed to love. She felt the same. Everything was good. But then we started having arguments, because of what had happened. It's like a trauma I caused. At that time we were apart she couldn't eat much or sleep, focus, had anxiety attacks, bad mood, sad. I didn't even know that, i felt so much hate towards myself i had never felt. I just wanted to murder myself brutally. It's been almost half a year. She still doesn't trust me and still has days she thinks about it. I'm trying my best, I'm spending every second i can of my day with her, making her presents and gifts, giving her all my love and appreciation i can. But she said she doesn't know if it will ever fix, if she will ever trust me fully, and for our relationship to be full. I understand her and i want the best for her, i want to spend my life with her, but idk what to do, in 3 years I'll be able to move in with her, but idk if anything will change by then, Idk how to fix this, and time pressures it even more as ik life is short and i want her to be in every part of it. Idk what to do. She doesn't even wanna show me how she looks rn, dayd it's because she thinks she is ugly, but idt that's the reason, i think a lot of bad stuff about myself but it doesn't stop me sharing them with her. I ruined the relationship we could've had, it could've been no pain just making her the happiest, give her what she deserves, share eachother fully and be very happy. Idk what to do now. It's eating me alive.

Sorry if this is a scrub question but this is my first fighting game. Im having trouble immediately reacting to when an opponent blocks so I dont continue my combo. It seems like the timing is so incredibly precise that I cant imagine myself doing it in real matches. For example, when I hit an opponent and he doesnt block, the window of realizing that he didnt block and go in for the combo is so small that I feel like I wont be able to do it confidently. If I screw up the opponent is always holding block, so he can get the punish on me when I probably screw up. Is this just something you get used to as you play? I hope I expressed my question properly.

TLDR: My legal representation for my Social Security disability application did such a poor job representing me, or even understanding what they’re trying to help me with, that I was denied at the hearing level. This is very, very bad, and I need a new lawyer ASAP.
More details:
I have tried three separate times (separate applications) in KS to apply for disability. The first 2-3 times I was too ill to meet any deadlines and my application was denied by default. I have been trying since 2015.
This most recent attempt, I finally had some help from my partner to meet the deadlines I had missed before. My application was still denied on the grounds that my “hands still work.”
I could not keep up with the appeals process and hired legal representation. It has been utter chaos ever since.
My appeal was denied, this time because I am sick but “not sick enough,” so I requested a hearing in front of a judge.
My legal representation was part of some merger and changed their company name. The disorganization only increased from there on. I have never been allowed to speak to the person whose name is on my paperwork as my lawyer, in spite of requesting many times. Over the past two years or so, I barely heard from them. When I contacted them myself, I’ve never spoken to the same person, rarely does someone know what is going on with my case, and no one was able to tell me who would actually be representing me—until 2 weeks before the hearing. At some point along the way, I was going to fire them and find someone else, but didn’t have the health to deal with that given they would probably fight over the fee.
This person did not contact me about my hearing until 2pm the afternoon before my 830 am hearing with a judge. I missed the call and when I returned it an hour later, we were able to speak. I’m still not sure if that was a good thing.
My legal rep is not a lawyer, just an authorized rep who works for the lawyer that no one will let me speak to. He made no effort to learn, on his own or ahead of time by communicating with me, what my limitations are. Therefore he was not aware that expecting to talk to me on the phone for about an hour was going to make me horribly ill.
I informed him of this but he insisted the judge should see what I’m like when I’m really badly sick. I got sick during the conversation and he did not understand that continuing to talk was making things worse, even after I told him.
He asked me tons of questions, and told me he and the judge would be asking me these things and similar during the hearing. We also discussed the last date I was able to work.
I was so sick from that phone call that I had to take emergency medications to avoid the emergency room that night.
The next morning for my hearing, I was so sick and medicated that I couldn’t think or hardly make sense. The trouble with my illness is, it’s invisible. I don’t look sick, I look stupid and lazy.
My hearing was virtual and I was lying in bed in my pajamas. I insisted on having my partner present for emotional support, but he was not able to help me when I was floundering from my neurological disorder disrupting my communication abilities.
The legal rep told the judge a date for last date of work that was years later than we had agreed on the day before. In my medicated stupor, I agreed with him because I was afraid to argue in front of the judge.
My legal rep also asked me about 10% of the questions he told me was going to, and then gave me the open floor. I was too sick to think and didn’t advocate well for myself at all. That’s what I thought I was paying him to do for me, since I can’t.
I received no follow up about the hearing from my rep.
I was just denied again. I have ONE more opportunity to appeal, and they do not have to grant me one.
If I do not find a better lawyer and a way to fire this team of incompetency, I am going to be denied that too.
I am open to advocacy organizations of any kind, but at this point am considering signing over a power of attorney to a family member and giving up. I cannot continue to fight in a system designed for well people. I’m not even convinced I will survive the next three years of this illness.
Side note, my disease is listed on their “fast track” system called compassionate allowance, or something to that effect. They’ll speed up their decision for you but it won’t affect their decision. My legal rep never put me on this list so I’ve only just now learned about it and have been waiting almost two years for this hearing I just bombed.
I am absolutely desperate for help with how to fire, rehire, and how to find someone who can do their job.
I am 90% bedridden, 100% homebound, and can’t even bathe myself. I sleep about 20 hours a day. Any exertion or external stimuli makes me sicker, sometimes permanently. There is absolutely no reason I should have been denied in a hearing with a judge, period.
