In Helltide there is a roaming boss called Xirrath the something I forgot. It is lvl 72 in T3. So way beyond what you are 99% of the time.
This thing is harder to kill than the worldbosses and has more lifebars too. I spent few monutes or so trying to kill him thinking solo is probably impossible, but luckily slowly people joined. It took 5 of us and another 10 minutes. When he is at 1 lifebar he starts one shotting you if you dont pay attention. This is taken from 10 minutes of time that could be spent Helltide farming mind you. I can get a 150 chest in that time.
The damn thing drops 1 rare, some oubles and blues, and not even a sacred rare drop. No achievement no nothing.
Whats the point of this boss except for ignoring it when you see it?
Am I missing something? Was I just extemely unlucky with the drops? No way am I going to try and farm this boss ever, its just such a chore.

My partner of 10 years, who is MtF, is getting facial feminization surgery as I write this. I don't want to make this about me, but I feel like I'm invisible, my feelings aren't valid, and I have no one to talk to who understands. Our mutual friends are all sending support and love her way, but no one has asked how I'm doing. I reached out to some friends to talk, but it's mostly just generic "I'm sorry you're feeling that way" or "it'll be alright." I know they're trying, but they couldn't possibly understand what this feels like.
I was against this surgery since the beginning. She knew I was. However, she fought so long to get this approved and it was so sudden when it was. They just gave us a little over two months to prepare. "Here's your surgery date, see you then!"
Our relationship survived a lot. When we first started dating, she identified as and looked male. About 4 years in, she came out and started hormones. It was difficult for me to handle, but we stayed together and got married. Later on, she got gender confirmation surgery, which really affected our sex life. She told me she was never going to get that surgery, but it happened. It was really difficult to get through this time and we almost didn't make it.
However, we've been going strong since. I love her more than anyone. I can't imagine my life without her. She's my partner, my best friend, and my love. I want nothing more than to grow old with her.
But her face changing is the last thing that I have left of her before it all. I feel like she's taken away all that I initially fell in love with and now she's taking the last thing left.
I'm in absolute mourning and I just didn't mentally prepare myself for it. I didn't know how. I don't think I've ever properly mourned the person I first fell in love with. I do go to therapy, but I have so much to work through that that took a back burner.
After several more hours, I get to see her all bandaged up and groggy. I can't spend the night with her, but I will bring her back to the hotel tomorrow. I will have to take care of her by myself, away from my support system and home.
I feel so weak. I've been crying alone in the hotel. Her face will be different forever. I'm scared and so sad. I know her face won't matter ultimately because I love her as a person but it's a drastic and sudden change!
So, yeah. That's it. This is my life. I'm mourning alone and I have no one in my life who understands. I have to be strong for her, I know. I'll do my best. I always do.

I am a very non confrontational person. I’ve known my friend since freshman year of high school (now we are both 23). I feel like our worldviews drastically changed in college and now they are someone who I am having a hard time staying friends with. Hey again guys, might remember me from last week when I made the "AI tools for dropshippers" post here, listing a bunch of tools I had aggregated that could potentially be useful for you guys. (link to post if not) So, I went and trialed all of the tools I listed to the best of my ability, and thought I my results might be of use to you guys as well.

• Oberlo - I tried going for a trial with this one, and apparently this tool has been discontinued? It has a site up with full functionality, but the tool just does not exist on shopify anymore. The best alternative for this I could find is s pocket (why cant I have that in my post body?).
• Pencil - Tried trial, and this one is really good. I can see why the price point is this high, but if you have the funds to use this, I would 100% recommend it. It's easy to use, produces good results and does it fast. It even gives you predictions on how well it thinks your ad will do. Just overall seems like a very solid platform.
• Tiipe - Tried trial, this one is alright. It's also pretty easy to use, but needs good input for proper results, so could take a bit of trial and error to get what you want out of it. Eg. I described my product as having red packaging, which the tool took to mean it was good for the enviroment (it being red). Still, it's a good timesaver when it produces the results you want, just might have to look over the output just in case.
• Claid.ai - Tried trial, and even signed up for it because I ran out of credits and wanted to keep testing it out. I really like it, it gives surprisingly good results in terms of lighting and focus for an AI generated image. It does still falter from time to time ofcourse, and the quality depends on what image and prompts feed to it, but it's surprisingly quite consistent. Definitely see potential here, especially if Shopify integration is ever added.
• Murf - Tried trial, and am quite happy with this as well. Extremely easy to use, has a ton of different voice and language options with a lot of variety and also comes with a voice transcription tool. Only gripe is just the fact that the results can be hit or miss sometimes, but that's just the nature of the current technology.
• Tweetify - Tried trial, it's simple, effective, does exactly what it says it does. Has a few customization options, but everything I fed it, it came up with a good tweet for it. It also has 100 free credits on trial which has a lot of room for testing it out.
• Algopix - Tried trial, extremely comprehensive market research tool, but can fall short for some dropshipping purposes, as it seems to only draw its statistics from Amazon and Ebay, which means some products and niches might be excluded if you're not working on those platforms. I found a bunch of alternatives for this, like Stravito, Poll the People and Remesh.
• Chatfuel / Tidio - Didn't get to try these out, but they both have superb reviews across the board. If these two aren't doing it for you for whatever reason, here are some more alternatives: Giosg, Botsify, Activechat
• Wisecut - Tried trial, and signed up. This one is kind of crazy, obviously it's not a full fledged video editor, but it's not meant to be. It does subtitles, highlights, cuts videos etc. It basically does all of the menial, boring editing work that noone likes doing. As someone that does video editing on the side, I signed up for this as I make videos as a hobby and I find cutting and subtitling videos to be extremely boring and the starter version is extremely cheap. Definitely recommend this one.

At the time I thought, oh bullshit, money solves SO many problems. But the idea has been nagging at me and I think maybe the old lady has a point. Especially after watching Succession too.

My parents have a health insurance with cover of 3L (3 lakhs). I have been trying to increase the premium to 10L at the time of renewal. Every time I talk to my insurance agent or the insurance company's helpline, they try to push me towards a top-up plan (of 10L with 3L deductible), saying that it will give me the same cover but for a lower premium, as well as shorter waiting period for 'pre-existing diseases' and 'specified diseases' for the additional cover.
So what is the catch?
So far, I have deduced that there is no Cumulative Bonus in these top-up plans when there are consecutive years without claim. And if the policy is ported, then the Sum Insured is ported, while this top-up amount is not. So this somewhat locks customers to the company.
Any other reason why top-up plans are pushed so hard? I am somewhat interested in knowing the agent's commission structure to understand what's happening. My best guess so far is that they get a higher % of the premium for a new policy as opposed to a renewal policy. And since the top-up policy is a new one, they will get a higher chunk of it, while the increase in sum insured will simply be a renewal policy, resulting in lesser commission.
What am I missing? What are the cons of a top-up policy?

I'm in my early twenties, and I live in a country which is not part of the EU.
I have been to the Netherlands like 5 times already, because my aunt and my cousin live there. I love the country and I would like to live and work in it.
My first question is, could I somehow move to NL through my aunt and her son, since we're practically family? They became NL citizans last year, after like 8 years of living there. How are my chances?
Also, does someone know what would be a good place to start searching for work? I currently work as a freelance photographer for many clients, so I could basically do any kind of photography related work. I could work for a digital marketing agency, or maybe in a film photography lab.
While writing this, I'm thinking how I could actually do some random jobs in the beginning, like being a waiter, until I find something that is photography related.
Any advice or suggestion is very welcome and helpful.

H and I were never married and we separated around 2018. Our parenting time agreement was made that year as well. We have joint custody split 50/50 physical and legal. Unfortunately, i was without a lawyer through the friend of the court phase and only have the boys for 2.5 days while she gets them for 4.5 days. I have the boys Monday morning through Wednesday evening. Since then, Hayley has continued to violate my parental rights by changing my children's school district, signing them up for therapists, and encouraging them to recognize their step father as "dad" and me as "josh". My boys both understand their mom has no respct for me and it has had effects on their social emotional behavior both in and outside of our homes. There are many more offenses that have been saved for reference in our email communication. I don't have the skill, knowledge, or mental capacity to keep up with, and file complaints for every slight she commits. She has a lawyer thats been financed by her husband, my child support payments and family, I don't have the luxury of financial support and cannot afford to miss work to represent myself and uphold my rights. I've had to endure death threats where my children tell me their step dad will come kill me, or kidnap my wife and lock her in their basement. I understand children will say just about anything whe they are mad, but these ideas of retribution aren't things they would say without hearing it from an adult first. I don't have money, but if there's any financial windfall on my end from getting this situation handled, it's yours. I don't want her money, I just want more time with my kids and for her to hear from a judge that her actions are damaging our children. I just need a lawyer to help me find an avenue to get this lady to understand that what she's doing, is not co-parenting. If anything, she's counter parenting. Her behavior is exactly the kind of behavior she has my. kids in therapy for and she doesn't even see it.

I’ve been dating a separated woman for four months now. She’s working on the divorce now. When we first started hanging out things just felt so relaxing and peaceful. Pretty much as the title says. Everywere i have asked i have been told that his bossfight is very easy. I'm on my 14th or 15th attempt (more than Cyril, Jade or the sorts). So either
a) I suck REALLY HARD. I am using all 3 potions availibke to me, using advised spells, watching guide videos (and using said weapons and tactics) and using good blood yet i can barely get him down to 60%. What keeps happening is that i get hit by a barrel, then another barrel as soon as i get up, and this only needs to happen 2-3 times and its game over.
b) It's a comunity prank to tell new players he is easy, a bit like the free anaconda in Elite Dangerous
c)Since i'm playing on a US server in EU, the bad ping is what impedes me from dodging though barrels. Am i supposed to be hit by barrels while using my TA through them?

So I need help. I'm starting a new job that has potential and im very excited. However, they are very strict with times for bathrooms and breaks as well as attendance. I let them know from the start that I had crohns and am still trying to get it under control and I will use the bathroom alot and need appointments that sometimes don't have warning. They seemed to understand and now I'm doing training and they keep stressing bathroom breaks and attendance and everyone is telling me to talk to HR. HR and my doctor can't seem to be on the same page. My doctor said bring in FMLA paperwork, but my job says that's not available to me until after a year and gave me a medical leave form but that's not what I need! I just want to not be afraid to go to the bathroom when I have explosive diarrhea, or take time off when my crohns gives me random fevers.
What do I do? How do I get the accommodations I need? Any advice is welcome, please, I'm going to lose my mind.

Im working during this summer and I want to build a pc for the first time. My priorities are over 400 fps on Valorant and CSGO. I also want to be able to play games like Elden Ring and Red Dead Redemption on High to Ultra graphics without FPS drops.

I imagine the RAM and HDDs/SSDs are only things that will go into the build. I will want a higher quality SSD aswell but i guess ill think about that later on. I sometimes buy and sell telescope accessories and this one hit a bit hard. Just trying to learn how to proceed or file a claim. It was a $550 telescope eyepiece that I sent with priority mail to a guy who lives in a rather nice condo complex. I am not doubting the truth behind it never being delivered from the mailroom, just not sure how to proceed after a lost package like this. It was sent with USPS priority mail flat rate box and was fully insured. The address was the exact one he gave to me and on USPS tracking it says it was signed by someone at the front desk, reception area, or mail room under " J MAILMAN" (not the recipient). All I really have is a photo of the box prior to shipment. I went through shippo and I don't see an option for filing a claim either.

I made my first post earlier this week and appreciate all the support. The significant shift was shaving my legs and chest.
Last night I shaved my arms, hands, and pits. I feel amazing, but more importantly, for the first time, what I see with my eyes looks right.
Three weeks into focusing on sitting down to pee, and yesterday I went to the bathroom and sat down without thinking about it.
Yesterday I wore women's underwear in public under my clothes for the first time. All day - meetings, errands, everything.
This morning I am alone where I can dress for the day (at my office). I have a Cami top with my fake rice bag boobs, high-waisted shorts, and heels. There is no "thrill" or "arousal" when I look down. What I see is what I feel I should always have seen. For the first time, everything just looks correct.
Lastly, it is something I noticed. Wearing heels, sitting with my legs crossed, and focusing on my mannerisms have touched my muscles oddly. My hip flexors and inner thighs have felt the change from constantly crossing my legs. I am sitting more upright at my desk. And the funniest, my shoulders are getting a workout as getting a sports bra or cami over my head is hard!

I (26m) just found out that the love of my life recently got married.
I met the love of my life when I was in college about 6 years ago. To make a long story short, we had a great relationship for 2 years. I knew a couple of weeks in that I loved her and wanted to marry her.
The relationship ended in large part due to a disability I developed as a result of a couple seemingly minor accidents. Without getting into exactly what it is, it affected my ability to feel emotion and make decisions. Neither of us knew there was something medically wrong with me at the time, and my poor decision making led to our breakup. Very soon after, the condition worsened and transformed into a 24/7 chronic pain disorder. It’s been about 4 years of fighting to get to a point where I could work full time, overcome pain-induced depression, go to grad school, and get a great full-time job.
She’s the primary reason I’ve been able to survive this disability and still succeed. I had this fantasy that I had a chance of winning her back if only I could get better. I did try a couple times to reconnect previously as friends, but, in short she was not interested. I really regret though that I never told her how I feel. That I still love her. That I still literally dream of her. I’ve fought so hard and I finally felt like I’m close to a place where there could be some hope of me being ‘good enough’ to take one final shot at reconnecting. And now I can’t.
I used to be proud of myself for getting to where I am despite my disability. Now I’ve realized that I failed myself. I didn’t get better. I didn’t tell her how I feel. I didn’t win her back. I let hopelessness win. What I really wanted from my life is to spend it with her. I didn’t do well enough for that to happen. I failed.

I had an interview last Friday (six days ago). It was for a position that does not yet exist, but would be created in the next ~2 months. I applied to another job at this company, and HR pulled my application for this role.
The interview went extremely well. The two interviewers (one from HR and one from the team I'd be joining) kept complimenting me and telling me what I great, rare fit I was. It went beyond the scheduled time and they shared all details about the position and benefits package. They asked me to tell them ASAP if I get another offer, so they can speed the process along.
At the end of the interview, the HR rep asked me to sleep on it and then email on Monday if I'm interested in the job. The next step would be a written assessment, which is standard part of this company's hiring process. I emailed her Monday morning saying I'm interested and excited to continue the process. It's now Thursday end of day and I have heard nothing. I emailed the other interviewer yesterday to thank her for the conversation and express my interest, and also have heard nothing back. I would have expected to receive a decision about whether or not they want to move forward.
I know ghosting is becoming the norm, but they both seemed so extremely positive (and kind!) during our interview, I'd like to think they'd at least let me know if things had changed so drastically and they didn't want to move forward with my application. Does anyone have any insight into what could be happening over there? It's a relatively big company, over 500 employees. This was a junior role and more of a planned need than an urgent hire, so maybe it's just not a priority right now? I wish I could just forget about it and move on, but after feeling so positive about it, I feel like I can't let go without hearing from them. I feel anxious and sad.
Any thoughts or advice are totally appreciated! Would you stay chill? Assume something has changed and move on? Send a followup to the HR rep? Thank you so much!

So there was a manga I've been somewhat interested in called Act-Age that's about acting.

I never read past the 1st chapter because it was around the time I stopped reading manga. I am learning today that he was arrested for sexual misconduct with minors between the ages of 10-17. He was only sentenced for 3 years.
Let me start by saying Japanese people are just like every other group of people. I reject the idea that these problems are due to their culture.
This is a subculture that came about due to a combination of the political situation and a lack of legal recourse. 5% of men across the human race show pedophilic tendencies and the rampancy of child abuse has more to do with a community's inability to protect its children than that community's abundance of pedophiles.
So, still being in study mode after my exams, I researched Japan's pedophilia problem from a political lense and here's what I found:

Japan is a de-facto single-party state lead by the LDP in an "Iron Triangle" arrangement between themselves, the Bureaucracy, and Corporate interests.
The LDP is what would happen if the DNC and the RNC just fused into one mega party. They are right-wing nationalists (as what would happen if the DNC and RNC fused).
The young people are fairly left-leaning.
The old people just want stability.
Due to the population crisis Old people not only vote more (as is expected) but they also out-number the young people.
Arresting/punishing pedophiles the way most of the world does would cause instability so the LDP has lead a several decade long soft-burial of what is a pretty clear child abuse crisis.
Due to the LDP's deep control there are systems in place at nearly every level of the legal system to ensure that child abuse and the consequences of it are handled outside of the legal system. This essentially translates to them being increadibly lax on pedophilia.
It is impossible to know how wide-spread sexual assault on minors is in Japan. Often times people would be charged with ancillary crimes around their sexual assault.
This is all ontop of the right that, in Japan, 13 year olds have full right to consent.

What I mean to say is... pedocon theory stays undefeated and using that here is my theory:
This isn't unique to Japan, it is unique to Conservative Nationalism. When criminality is made an identity you treat people who commit crimes with the identity you choose to back softly. "Grooming" children in a way that includes the "bad identities" (AKA, teaching children its ok to be themselves or teaching them about the places people can only touch them with consent) will be given the full strength of the law as far as repercussion go. Abusing children by having sex with them has nothing to do with your identity so as long as you are of the identity favored by the society (Japanese) you will be treated with full empathy and kindness to not impede you or inflame the dominant group. This essentially creates Good Pedophiles and Bad "Groomers". It doesn't matter how soft you are on the "Good Pedophiles" because they are on your side, there is no lack of punishment you can give them that will "harm children" because their crimes are in the past... we all make mistakes. "Bad Groomers" must be removed immediately, there is no level of cruelty you can inflict on them that is too much because you must protect the children.
Japan doesn't have a culture war. There are not the idea of 'Bad Groomers' in Japan... yet. As the younger more left-leaning people grow older we may see a shift that leads to this culture war being implemented or Japan may just have a silent revolution within their De-Facto Single Party State... whether that is another party just eclipsing the old one of the LDP being changed from the inside. With a lot of media focus going into Japan's pedophilia problem (and an especially highly watched BBC documentary) there are changes being made today in Japan but this has been an ongoing effort by many in the country. Current debate is whether a law that stops guardians from having sex with minors should be applied to mentors as well (after a music executive forced multiple underaged boys to have sex with him). Its not much of an improvement but at least there is a public conversation on it.
What we do know is that this insistence of giving lighter legal consequences to favorable groups is something we see in today's America and we will see in Far-Right Theocratic Fascist America. A group that already forgives Pedophiles and Pedophilic apologia within their own group today.
I believe "Good Pedophiles and Bad Groomers" is the future of any Far-Right government and the self-interest to cover up and defend Pedophiles will become entrenched at ever level of their legal system.

I have been going through a divorce since february… the tldr is they decided they didn’t want a kid or monogamy anymore. I’ve had about the average grieving process as most would (crying, journaling, therapy) but overall moved on from my ex pretty quickly. If I’m sad it’s because I didn’t think my life would be this way at 30.
I have (had?) two best friends that I vented to a lot about the divorce, that’s what friends are for right? One of them I call therapy queen and she always has helpful insights to make me see things differently, the other has been through a lot of breakups so she’s helped me see how bad the relationship was.
We’ve been busy adulting lately and so I haven’t seen either of them in a few weeks. Two nights ago I saw one of those Instagram stories, “share 6 photos from your last 6 months” and I sent them a draft of the photos of me crying the last few months… I honestly thought it was some funny / dark humor. They both proceeded to criticize me and saying that they don’t want to see me sad after all the time they’ve “taken out of their lives to make sure I was okay.” I explained to them that I’m fine but they’re making me feel like a burden with that comment. They said that wasn’t their intentions and that I am taking things too personally and long story short I’m not talking to either of them now over a stupid fucking meme I tried to make. My birthday is next weekend and life couldn’t be anymore shit.

I don’t WANT to feel like this. Non-monogamy isn’t for me personally, but I don’t want to feel triggered every time I see someone on an app that’s poly. Or when someone talks about it. But I do. And I want that to stop. People should be able to do what makes them happy! And I would never say anything to anyone or make them feel bad but oh my god the amount of immediate uncomfortable that I feel and the anger that starts to bubble up. I mean what the hell.
And I’m sure it has to do with the fact that I’ve now had multiple partners leave me because they suddenly feel like they want to explore poly relationships and they know I won’t do it.
