[SPOILER WARNING: THIS POST IS OBVIOUSLY GOING TO HAVE SOME PRETTY BIG SPOILERS FOR NEEDLEMOUSE, SO I RECOMMEND WATCHING THE SERIES BEFORE READING THIS POST IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO ALREADY (trust me, it's good).
Though it's also being rebooted with a rewritten story since the creator wasn't satisfied with how the old one turned out so eh, do what you want.]
Hi everyone, Whoce here. Today I've got a new theory to bring to y'all, one which I find to be very interesting and plausible.
Needlem0use is a YouTube Analogue horror series created by ShutUpJojo, which aims to act as a rewrite of the old and infamous creepypasta Sonic.exe, which was (and it still is) mocked for being of low quality, to turn it into something better.
That said, the story deviates away quite a bit from its original source material as instead of the classic cosmic Void entity that we all know and hate, this series follows [warning: in-depth story summary] a young woman named Sarah Henderson, who fell in love with another woman named Lily King. Sarah was born sometime in the 40s and started going to college in the early 60s, a time period where LGBTQ+ relationships were heavily discriminated against, much more so than today, and as a result Sarah and Lily would have to keep their relationship a secret. Sarah also had her own friend group, known as "The Fun Gang", who she was incredibly close to, so much so that they're the only people (that we know of) who Sarah trusted enough to know about her and Lily's relationship. The Fun Gang was composed of Sarah and three guys named Luther, Michael and Martin. One day, while Luther and Sarah were chatting, she brings up a college party that her and Lily want to attend, but she's worried due to their aforementioned relationship, so she asks Luther to come with them and help them cover up. Luther accepts and on the day of the party ends up bring Martin and Michael with him as well. During the party, the friends end up having a bit too many and get into a fight. One thing leads to another, and soon enough Sarah ends up dropping dead on the carpet. Realizing what just happened, the three dudes then decide to hide the body by burying it near a lake and never say anything out of fear of being arrested, a decision which will go on to haunt them for the rest of their lives.
Nearly thirty years later SEGA creates their now renowned mascot Sonic the Hedgehog along with his game series, which brings the company a ton of success. One of their buildings would wind up being built over the site where Sarah was buried. To add insult to injury, Luther would be hired to work at that very same building. This leads to Sarah's soul becoming stuck to a disc compilation of the 4 Sonic SEGA Genesis games and posssessing Sonic's spritesheet. Incredibly furious at her former friends for the fact that she was basically murdered by them, she lures all three of them into playing the game, kills them and locks their souls inside of the other characters, proceeding to then torture them for the rest of time. That is until 2008 when Luther's son Thomas discovers the old disc, along with his friend Kyle. Sarah goes after them and kills Kyle, but the series ultimately ends with the Tom surviving and everyone, including Sarah, being freed and passing on to the afterlife.
But why would I think this creepypasta series is canon to FNaF? Well, it's simple!

Piece of evidence numero uno: incredibly similar stories

The story of Needlem0use is that of a murder victim who came back by possessing and turning into a ghostly cartoon character to get revenge on her killers, killing and trapping them in her own made up hell for the rest of eternity, where she can torture them forever. Does that sound familiar? That's right, that's just UCN but with Sonic! Sarah acts just like Cassidy.
Not even to mention how Sarah shoved Luther's soul into Tails, Sonic's best friend, just like how William ended up dying inside of Spring Bonnie, Fredbear's best friend, because of Cassidy chasing him down.
And Sarah also goes after Tom and Kyle despite the fact that neither of them have anything to do with her murder, they weren't even alive back then, Sarah just wants to make sure that no one knows about her or any of the others. Similarly to how Cassidy, along with the other kids, go after William's son, Mike, thinking that he's harmful in some way, like wanting to take away their Happiest Day or even actually being William. They also go after other innocent security guards thinking that they're William.

No character known as "Andrew" exists, has existed or will ever exist. The Fazbear Frights are nothing but an elaborate coverup, an extensive effort to brainwash the populace and conceal the truth. I request that you cease believing their lies or I'll be forced to take immediate action.
ShutUpJojo has also said in a tweet that I can't find anymore that Needlemouse is "basically FNaF".

• In addition, Sonic.exe, the creepypasta that Needlemouse is derivative of, has a fairly similar story to FNaF as well.

It details an entity known as X, who takes on the form of Sonic and uses a Sonic game disc to lure in players. He then kills said players, takes their souls and turns them into their favourite Sonic character. Thus, you could say that overall X is very similar in his tactics to William, who puts on a Spring Bonnie suit to lure kids who love the character. He then kills those kids and they end up stuffed inside of the other animatronics, with their souls possessing them.

And don't even get me started on Glitchtrap or his supposed "cult", which is very reminiscent of the Cult of X.

• Furthermore, Foxy.exe exists, showing an official connection between FNaF and Sonic.exe.

So now that we've established Needlemouse (and Sonic.exe in general) as a piece of FNaF content, what exactly makes it canon to the FNaF game timeline?

Piece of evidence numero dos: incredibly similar supernatural laws

Let's start with an obvious one; possession. Sarah possesses the Sonic disc and she's able to shove her friends' spirits into the disc as well. While in the disc she can show up on-screen as a distorted version of Sonic, just like William is able to show up in The Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience as a distorted version of Spring Bonnie after his soul got scanned into the game.
Sarah can also appear as herself and sometimes as a distorted version of herself, just like how in the Happiest Day minigames, which are seemingly arcade games haunted by the agony of the kids, you can see and interact with the missing children themselves. And Cassidy is also seemingly able to appear as what is seemingly a version of herself in Princess Quest.
Sarah locking her friends in the game after attacking them could also be compared to Glitchtrap locking Vanessa's mind in the VR game at the end of Help Wanted.
Sarah being able to show up in the real world, outside of the game also isn't that crazy of an idea and it seems to be perfectly consistent with what we know is possible in FNaF as well. She seems to be doing the same thing that Golden Freddy is doing with how he projects himself out of the Fredbear suit (as FNaF 2 confirms that an actual FredbeaGolden Freddy suit exists), as evidenced by the fact that Sarah has similar powers/abilities to Golden Freddy while she's outside of the disc.
Sure, the thing about Sarah possessing the disc after SEGA built one of their buildings over her corpse may seem farfetched in FNaF, but it's not impossible. After all, Take Cake to the Children and SAVETHEM both suggest that William kills his victims before stuffing them into the suits and that stuffing their already dead bodies still ultimately results in their souls possessing the animatronics. In his latest timeline video, MatPat has also proposed the idea that Charlotte was able to possess the PizzaPlex after it was built over her resting place in the FFPS location, explaining stuff like the presence of the weird Nightmarionne plushies and STAFF bots, the Puppet-like colouring of the power cords etc. so that could also explain how Sarah was able to ultimately possess the disc.
As everyone is passing on at the end of Season 2 of Needlemouse, they seem to enter a state that is kinda similar to Happiest Day and/or potentially even to what happens with Susie at the end of Coming Home.

• But the biggest similarity between the paranormal rules of Needlemouse and those of FNaF has to be the existence of Shadow characters.

As we all should know, in FNaF there exists the elusive Shadow animatronics. From what we know of them they're most likely reflections of certain people or events created out of Dark Remnant (aka negative emotional energy, like agony and rage). For example, we know from one of Shadow Freddy's/Nightmare's lines in UCN ("I am your wickedness, made of flesh.") that he's made out of William's wickedness, and he certainly acts like it as well.
In FNaF 3, he appears during the Follow Me minigames, where he can be seen luring the animatronics to William, who's hiding in the safe room, in a very similar manner to how William lured the MCI victims to the safe room. He even uses the exact same line that William used, that being "Follow me.", as seen in Fruity Maze and Henry refers to him as a trap that William set for the missing kids. In FNaF 1-3 he also appears in the exact same places that William did. We first see him in FNaF 2, where we know William worked the nightshift and killed 5 more kids the week prior and during the course of the game now works the dayshift. We also see him in Follow Me and during the office gameplay in FNaF 3, where William is obviously present as Springtrap. He doesn't appear in FNaF 1, which could be explained as William not being present there in any capacity.
There's also Eleanor, who needs no introduction. She's a dark chaotic force created out of William's wickedness, similarly to Shadow Freddy (hence why some people think that they're connected/the same entity), who throughout the course of several stories like Into the Pit, Count the Ways etc imitates William or one of his creations. She also helps William become the Amalgamation in Epilogue #6.
Likewise, Needlemouse has a very similar entity in the form of Atem, a dark malicious being created out of Sarah's rage, built up over the course of the 30 years that she's spent rotting under the ground near the lake. Similarly to how Shadow Freddy takes the form of Fredbear, Atem takes the form of a skeletal Sonic the Hedgehog.
Similarly to Shadow Freddy behaving like William, the way Atem acts perfectly mimics Sarah while in an angry state. Throughout the series he only ever really appears while Sarah is in a state where she feels remorse/regret as opposed to rage, like just after she murdered Kyle, after which she breaks down crying over the fact that she just murdered an innocent person. Atem then appears in front of her and starts saying things like "You're the victim here.", something which Sarah obviously believes in within the context of what happened between her and her former friends. Afterwards, after fully coming into control of Mecha-Sonic MK II, Kyle tries to confront Sarah, at which point Atem disappears and Sarah goes wicked once again, successfully striking Kyle down in the next few scenes. This suggests that Atem caused Sarah to regain her rage, at least for a brief period of time.
Then, once Sarah tries to kill Tom, Luther stops her and tells her that she's the murderer here and she's only making everything worse, at which point Sarah starts to feel regret over everything again. Then Atem starts telling Sarah stuff like "You've been through so much... and now that you have a chance to be happy... he wants to take it away.", something which also mimics Sarah's attititude at the end of Season 1, where she says that now that she trapped all 3 of her friends in the disc with her they'll be together forever and she'll never be alone again. He also reminds her that "It is their fault you're dead."
Atem then offers to help her out by holding Luther off while she goes to kill Tom. During the Finale we see Atem trying to mentally break Luther by making him that he's a murderer as well and that he's just as bad as Sarah, an obvious call-back to what he said to her.

Piece of evidence numero tres: Sarah and Cassidy are the same person

As stated above in the section about FNaF and Needlemouse/Sonic.exe having similar stories, Sarah and Cassidy have incredibly similar personalities and commit similar actions, both being vengeful spirits who trap their murderers in their own artificial hells featuring cartoon characters. But the personality is not the only thing that connects these two together.

"And that's Cassidy." A girl with long black hair approached, carrying more pictures in her arms.

Aditionally Cassidy also seems to make an appearance in The Survival Logbook, where she takes on an appearance that is consistent with the way she looks like in TFC. Yes, she has pigtails which she doesn't have in the book, but you need long hair to make pigtails, so it's not an inconsistency in my eyes.
But how would Sarah and Cassidy be the same person if Sarah died in the 60s as a young woman and Cassidy died in the 80s as a little kid? The answer is incredibly simple; Cassidy is a rebuilt android version of Sarah, which we know to be possible due to Gregory being a rebuilt android version of the Bite of '83 Victim given what is probably a different name for who the hell knows what reason.
In that same vein, it's possible someone who knew Sarah was knowledgeable enough to be able to try to "recreate" Sarah in a way by building robots made in her image, though with a different name for who the hell knows what reason. And who knows, maybe they decided to make versions representing her at all sorts of ages, so that the people she was close to can relive all their happy moments with her.
But what the hell is Golden Freddy then? Cassidy wouldn't have a soul if she was a robot! But y'know, that's not necessarily true. After all, Charlie in the novels does have a soul. An artificial one made out of Henry's grief, but still a soul. We know that a ton of people were really upset by Sarah being declared missing, especially Lily, so it's possible an artificial Cassidy soul could be created out of their collective grief.
In this case, Golden Freddy would be like a weird cross-section between a soul and the Shadow animatronics, which tbh makes sense, given how he's able to do stuff like teleporting, fading out of existence, crashing the game et cetera, stuff that the Shadow animatronics are also able to do.
And that ladies and gents has been "Needlemouse is canon to the FNaF universe". I hope you enjoyed this totally serious theory and I wish you all a great rest of your day!

I'm not sure how well this fits this sub, I had seen a couple similar posts here so figured I'd give it a shot.
My family's company has been around for nearly 40 years. We are very old-school when it comes to technology. I want to change that, but only if it actually helps us.
The following processes could benefit from ERP:

• Estimating/Quoting
• Purchase Order creation
• Receving
• Raw material inventory
• Part inventory
• Order review/confirmation
• Order history (for future job knowledge & estimating)
• Work ordeJob Card creation
• Invoicing

Many of those processes are fine as is, but we have the issue of information not being communicated between processes. For example, my work order system does not communicate with part inventory or raw material inventory. If I allocate material to a job, I must then manually update my raw material as well in a separate excel file.
We are pretty small (14 employees), so I don't think it will be that difficult to manage a system once it is up and running.
We have began implementation of JobBoss^2 with ECI. Overall, the process has gone fine, but I am getting frustrated with how restricted the software is. Everything has to work within the existing software, little customization is available. Even something as simple as a uploading a .csv file of part numbers is painful, I have to send it to the ECI team for them to then import for me at a charge.
So I have the following options, I would love any input on any of them 🙂
1) Continue with JobBoss^2. Implementation will be slow and employees are not used to looking at information in this way.
My gut says this is our best bet in the long term, but very painful/expensive upfront.
2) Hire an ERP consultant to build custom software that matches our existing processes and is familiar to our employees.
This allows our systems to communicate and is familiar to employees, likely the most expensive option and would not have the support of a larger software company. I saw great info here about a consultant called docmo.co any thoughts about them?
3) Build a custom "ERP" in house. This would essentially be a monster excel file that allows for data to exchange easily between various processes.
I am very familiar with excel and know I could build this, I just don't want to waste my time if it's the wrong move. This would be the cheapest upfront. I fear that my monster file would get slow and would risk data loss with multiple people working in it all day, every day. Another option would be having multiple files that each communicate with the same Microsoft Access data files.
This last option has the bonus that I find this type of stuff fun and would not mind putting in extra hours doing this. The last thing I want to do on a Sunday is import data to JobBoss, I actually enjoy tinkering around in excel.

There's this one woman I was talking to via a Facebook singles group. She was in an actual chatroom for the group, and I saw she named a small city she lived in near me. We get into a DM session, and she propositioned me to be a FWB.
I was like "I don't know, I mean, we just met". She says, "If you saw my pictures on Only Fans, you'd change your mind"
Then I was like "Okay there it is" right? So I decided to test her, to see if she knew of any local restaurants, some specifics of hte location a catfisther (overseaas) would only know.
She named off some non-chain small businesses and low-and-behold, she nailed it.
Now...even if she was for real, and we were in a great vicinity locally where we could easily visit each other, isn't there STILL something sketchy about this?
I have a female friend that caught up with an old-high school friend of hers, and turns out, she was going the same thing for a living. lol (OnlyFans).
Also, FWB, you're actually friends that know each other to a certain extent, in this case, we don't know each other...so it's far from a FWB?

I live near Yonge and finch and need to go downtown today. But with the TTC closure from bloor to York mills, and me hating driving downtown (traffic, parking, idiotic drivers). I plan on driving to finch west and parking there to take line 1 downtown from there.
Question is, how safe is the parking lot at finch west? I know it isn’t the nicest neighbourhood but I’ve taken the train from there down to yorkdale a few times and it’s been ok. With the spate of car thefts lately though, not sure if it’ll still be there late in the evening. 😂

hi everyone I'm really stuck between choosing ejc and vjc and i would really appreciate it if current/ ex vj/ej students can give their opinion on some questions! btw i created this account solely for this purpose HAHA. I'm sec 4 this year and i've heard good and bad things about both schools and ik jc is a different experience for everyone but i'm so confused at this point honestly.
so context i've been aiming to go to vjc since like sec 1 LMAO, my cousin and dad both went to vj and promote it at every chance they can get. but i do track and field and since my coach also coaches ejc i train with them outside sometimes. my coach wants me to go to ejc (not by dsa tho, idt i can make it lol) and i really don't want to change coaches, he's the best :( not sure if its a good decision to go to a jc just because of the cca though. but like in sec sch literally the only reason why i want to go to school is because of cca HAHA. bonus if yall are from t&f, what are your events and what do yall think of your cca?
for the jae- ip divide, i've heard that its extremely prominent/ doesnt even exist/ its meh for both schools from so many people i dont know what to think anymore.
for travel time, I live in the central area so ejc is quite close and vj is like 1.5h away.
what worries me a lot is that ejc is a relatively new school so whatever i’ve heard online may not be accurate and the trend might not continue :( meanwhile vjc has a long history and has been quite consistent. plus another thing, i'm not in ip and quite introverted, can force myself to switch on kind of extrovert mode though. will i even survive at all? help me D:
things i've heard about vjc:
-study hard play hard (actually same for ejc also)
-very fun school events+ culture is amazing!
-phys department is bad?? (not really a big factor for me tho)
- 90% distinction rate for pw :)
- long history of producing good a level results
- the facilities are really old (idm)
-its near ecp
- air con in the classrooms
- treehouses (yay)
ejc:
-people are super smart??
- some school event called euphoria + house culture is fun!
- pw rate not as high
- teachers are very supportive
- new campus, nice view !!
- mostly heard that the jae divide is very prominent, a lot more ip students that vjc :(

I felt compelled to share my own experiences after one member of this subreddit shared his experience being molested by gays.
FOUR STORIES:

1. I was 1st year HS when I was invited by my mom to have a swim sa isang pool ng condominium. imimeet niya kasi yung old friend na na taga-roon. I was alone in that pool. may isang pool sa kabila na may isang mid-20s na guy na napapansin ko pasulyap-sulyap sakin. I didn't mind it. I figured I'd practice my swimming lessons from school. after a few minutes, the guy from the other pool approached me and started chatting with me. I couldn't recall our exact conversation pero I remembered na nag-introduce siya. I introduced myself din. he even asked me my FB account and said he'll add me. maya-maya napapansin ko na parang dumidikit siya nang dumidikit sakin. I was feeling somewhat weirded out. then he did something I did not expect: he held my hand. hinawakan niya kamay ko nang walang pasabi and when I pulled my hand away, he apologized. after non I remember him asking me to join him sa hotel room niya "with his friends" where he said "maraming food doon" and "we can share stories." I really felt weirded out by him and decided to return to my mom. he returned to his pool area and later, umalis na siya ng pool. we never spoke again. later that evening, he added me on FB. pero natakot ako so I blocked him. (NOTE: during this time, I haven't had an idea of being uncomfortable or the idea of grooming. even the idea of pedophilia is unknown to me. I just felt weirded out that time. pero alam kong creepy and ayaw ko siya maging friend)
2. when I was in college madalas umuuwi ako gabi na. I decide to allow the rush hour to pass before going home para di masyado naakapagod pauwi and mabilis. kapag uuwi ako, I happen to cross by a salon near my street where most of the workers are gays. late one evening, around 9:30 pm, I saw one gay salon worker na nagyoyosi sa labas mag-isa, and tinitignan niya ko as I walk. even after malagpasan ko siya, I felt his gaze. I didn't think about it at first, pero kasi a few yards later may naririnig akong sumusunod sakin. I was alone non and madilim. pero soon I heard his footsteps getting faster na parang tinatry magcatch up. napalingon ako and lo and behold, I saw the gay salon worker na nagyoyosi na sumusunod sakin. lumayo ako sa street na inuuwian ko and naglibot libot sa malalapit na lugar. and even then sumusunod pa rin. soon nafeel kong napansin niya na alam kong sinusundan niya ko kasi nawala siya after. pero nafifeel ko na nandun pa rin siya. nung nafeel ko na wala na siya, bumalik na ko sa normal route ko pauwi. TAS PUTA NANDON NA NAMAN SIYA SA LIKOD KO. I was basically followed hanggang sa street na dinadaanan ko pauwi. di ko na kinaya, tumakbo na ko. when I got home, I was sweating and ambilis ng tibok ng puso ko.
3. this was in 2nd year college. I was in SM alone to catch up with some friends. it was around 4pm in the afternoon. I decided to relieve myself sa restroom after the long trip papunta sa mall. habang umiihi ako sa urinal, may isang guy na tumabi sakin kahit andaming urinals na walang tao. as a man, it's an unspoken rule na iihi ka lang sa urinal na may katabing tao IF and ONLY IF occupied na yung iba. it's like, lahat muna ng odd numbered urinals ang first pick ng mga tao. if naoccupy na lahat, tsaka lang pwede umihi sa even. or if maraming tao oks lang din naman. pero kasi that time, dalawa lang kami umiihi. may isa or dalawa ata na nasa sink non. I felt the guy next to me staring at me habang umiihi. nung tapos na ko, I washed my hands and went on my way. tumambay muna ako sa mga railings ng SM while I text my friends. pero after texting may napansin ako. SI KUYANG NAKATITIG ANDUN SA OPPOSITE SIDE NG RAILING NAKATINGIN SAKIN. I was creeped out, nagstart ako maglakad. while walking I glance every now and then pero di halata. nakikita ko siya sumusunod sakin pero sobrang layo ng distance. I went inside the department store to pretend looking for shoes, maya maya napansin ko siya na naglalakad sa tabi casually na parang napadaan lang siya don. pero napapansin ko siyang tumitingin. soon, pumunta akong national bookstore. I looked at some of the books sa isang hilera. maya-maya napansin ko ayun naglalakad. papunta ata sa hilera next to where I was. after non, binilisan ko lakad ko and decided na magstay sa KFC. nafeel ko na I lost him kasi di ko siya nakita. dun na ko nagstay para ichat friends ko nasan na sila. I felt safe...... SIKE!!! after 1 minute, nakita ko siya pumasok sa KFC and sat on a place near mine. I was contemplating if I would confront this guy and give him a beating or call the security guards pero I was too afraid to move. and never pa ko nakasuntok ng anyone in my entire life. I was basically trapped. this guy has been stalking me ever since sa restroom. I pretended to just look at my cell. I saw him peripehrally. there he was, with the back of his tablet facing mine. I had an idea kung anong ginagawa niya: he may be taking pictures of me. for what and why? I have no idea. buti na lang talaga, sinundo ako ng mga kaibigan ko after 5 minutes. after non, di ko na siya nakita.
4. here's a funny thing: many smart members of the LGBT think highly of themselves na they think they're simply incapable of doing anything wrong. their delusional self-righteousness was off the charts. I entered an org during 3rd year college where I was basically hazed psychologically as part of the initiation process. most of the officers were LGBT. one of them asked me "how do you feel about gay people?" I answered them "I accept them, pero I feel uncomfortable at times." they just laughed at my answer. they then asked me why I felt that way. like I'm doing now, I shared my experiences. they laughed harder than before. their reply really struck me: "wooooow. pogi ka?" right then and there, I felt my feelings invalidated. nafeel ko na parang hinubaran ako ng dignidad. it's a worse feeling than when they threw me their soda cans and some crumpled papers. they ridiculed me for feeling uncomfortable. and eto pa: THEY REFUSED TO BELIEVE MY STORIES AND CALLED ME HOMOPHOBE AND BASURA ON THE SPOT. after non, tinalakan ako ng kung ano-ano. one aggressive girl even said [non-verbatim] "anong karapatan mo na gumawa ng kung ano anong kwento?" another said [non-verbatim] "ang kapal ng mukha mo." the loudest one said [non-verbatim] "feeling pogi mo naman. kahit akong bading di ako magkakagusto sayo ehh" and other hurtful things. at the end of the interview, I cried. these people laughed at my tears and proceeded to degrade me further. it was the worst 2 hours of my college life. I didn't remember their exact words, pero their messages really stuck with me na until now naalala ko yung mga yon. those moments made me angry towards gay people. I can even remember their faces. eventually, I got accepted sa org na yun pero decided to leave after a week. di ko maatim na magiging buddy-buddy ako sa mga taong ito after ng ginawa nila sakin.

somehow, many people have this idea na gays are infallible. they can never do wrong kasi they struggled so much. that's just bullshit. for years, natakot ako magkwento neto kasi often nagagaslight lang ako na ako yung mali. people, even the progressive ones, just tell me I should just suck it up and understand them. and in the end they tell me, not all gays are like that.
question. anong pinagkaiba neto sa men are trash? I agree with that sentiment kasi totoo naman na maraming nabibiktima ang mga lalaki. pero I wonder bakit pagdating sa straight men parang ang easy lang na igeneralize sila, pero we reserve the generalizations pagdating sa gays? hindi ba double standards ito? I'd argue na marami pang lalaki na katulad ko. the only reason na hindi nabibigyang pansin is many refuse to speak up for fear of being vilified.

No April Fool's here -- in a stroke of ill-timed brilliance, April 1st is the anniversary of ToR! (Mostly, it's that we forgot to check the calendar and were very excited to announce this to the world.) Today's post has a message from me and the results of the MARCH TRANSCRIBING MADNESS!

Happy Anniversary!

Six years ago, we set out on an adventure to type a little more, make things better for folks, and have a bit of fun on the way. On day one, at the beginning, we started with two people... and by the end of the day we had thirty folks signed up. Today, we are here with 5900 of you, coming together with the express purpose of making the internet a better place to be.
By the end of the first day, we had about a hundred transcriptions completed. Today, almost 275,000 transcriptions have winged their way across the internet. That's 275,000 pieces of text that unlock laughter, tears, longing, dry chuckles, breaking news, and silly memes. Millions of words that describe flowers, cats, dreams, stories, and heartbreak. Throughout the years, I've looked in awe at all the amazing things we've done together, because a lot of people say they want to make a difference, that they want to change the world.
You're here. Together, we're changing the world. You are making a difference.
When we got our first chat with some local nonprofit leaders, I thought that was the top, the best it could get.
When I was on a podcast to talk about our work, I thought that was the top, the best it could get.
When we got our first paying job doing subtitle work, I thought that was the top, the best it could get.
When we got featured in WIRED, I thought that was the top, the best it could get.
Today I look at all we've built together and I know that there's so much more that we can do. Just so you know, I am incredibly excited to do it with you all!
About six months ago, we also celebrated the 5th anniversary of Grafeas, the 501(c)3 nonprofit that we formed to oversee and pay for TranscribersOfReddit! This is an incredibly important anniversary because even though the numbers are vague, pretty much everyone agrees that fewer than 50% of all orgs make it to the 5 year mark. We're still here. We're still writing.

Here we are, on the same bed as I wait for words to interrupt the silence, but it continues like this long dreary night. I watch you flip the pages of the weathered book, I can see how deeply you are immersed in its tales. Beyond the serenity placed in darkness, a lamp guides you to uncover the stories laced within those bulky paragraphs. Your eyes chase the words, and I try to fall asleep in the comfort of your presence.

The morning comes soon on the hill but the days never get warm. I asked Elise once," Why this place? Why would she love a place this displeasing?" but she didn't answer.
"They were like sisters. The day madam died, Elise lost half of her heart while sir lost his whole." I have heard whispers like this floating around the house. " Such a young girl with so much to give. " "They were right. All the riches in the world can't buy you happiness."
Happiness... I thought.
EleMoore, that is what this hill is called. It owes its name to Eleanor Moore, the woman who loved it first. The brown earth and the ever-present cold attracted no one but Eleanor. In a place where even crows wouldn't build their nest, Eleanor decided to build her home. Maybe the naked trees and their wrinkled branches whispered something in her ear or the winding roads that took forever to reach somewhere showed her a place that no one has ever seen.
I remember the day I set foot on EleMoore, dark clouds spiraled on the sky like a hungry snake searching for prey. That day I anticipated a huge storm, but after an hour of thunder and lightning, there was nothing but silence.
It took me a long time to get used to the peculiar weather. Here, the night and day blend into one, and the sun doesn't decide when you sleep. A dense fog envelops the area and perhaps it is this fog that makes the place so cold. It has been two months since I arrived here and the place has never been kind to me. I was bedridden for two weeks, and only now I gather the strength to move around the house.
There is nothing much to do here. The workers are like ants, each assigned with a different task. I once tried helping Elise with the dishes, but ended up breaking half a dozen plates. I was met with such a harsh glare that I have never dared to go near the sink again. Everyone here is particular with their task, there is a way to do everything and if you don't know the exact steps it is not worth trying. This is why I keep to myself. I wish I was like Edmund, then I could disappear in the library. But for me the words make lesser sense the deeper I dive into the subject.
I wonder what Elenor did with her time. I heard that she loved to paint, but I haven't seen a single artwork around the house. Maybe there is a separate place to keep all that belonged to her, a room that is brighter. "Flowers.... She only made flowers," Elise told me once. The only thing I hear from her are bits and pieces of Elenore. Her sharp eyes dull down with every story that she tells. The type of love that she held for that women, perhaps she never did for anyone. This is the same reason why she never sleeps through the night. She carries a lamp and roams around the hallways checking behind every door, hoping to see the ghost of Elenore Moor.

We matched on Bumble a week before Chrismas last year. First date natin yung Avatar 2 movie. It was not until the last few weeks na ramdam kong may nagbago. Matumal na yung chat. I could feel na wala na yung excitement and sweetness. You were even delaying to read and respond to my messages. You even turned down my date invites kahit na kahit near dyan sa place mo. All the signs of now-disinterest are there, kasi sabi mo sakin magiging extra busy ka dahil sa thesis. Di ba ang sabi kapag mahal mo, gagawan pa din ng time kahit busy. Pero sige kapit pa din.
Fast forward today, 3 hours waiting. I am here at Starbucks sa SM na walking distance sa house mo. Walang kang time sabi mo, kaya heto ako. Isusurprise kita at dinalhan kita ng yummy cookies na kinwento ko. I sent you a message, and called you several times. You are not opening my message kahit na nakita kitang online sa viber. Oo, dumb tong pagvisit ko sayo na may 2 outcomes lang naman. Love eh.
You know my feelings. I love you. Pero mukhang this is it. Your action, inaction rather, confirms everything. Yung atin. Hanggang dito na lang. Three months.

First of all I am not a believer so I have come here to ask about something I find hard to understand. I live near Arkansas and as you have probably heard there were several tornadoes in the state with many injuries, several deaths, and wide spread destruction.
