A few months ago, I completed the main story of Spider-Man: Miles Morales on my computer. The game ran amazingly, with almost no issues (90-110 FPS). I loved it.
I uninstalled the game once I had completed the main story to install something else, and recently, I felt like returning, so I reinstalled the game.
Upon launching it and entering the open-world, the game ran like complete crap. Swinging around in the world would cause the framerate to dip into the 50s, 40s, and 30s.
My graphics settings are the same as they were during my playthrough a few months ago. Nothing has changed.
My PC specs are the same. I am using the exact same computer and peripherals.
How could this be? Any ideas on what I should do?

I recently bought a pretty expensive (or at least expensive to me) item on Etsy from a seller I've never bought from before.
I purchased the item about a week and a half ago. When I first bought it, the order note from the seller clearly said "your order will be shipping out tomorrow." And the estimated shipping time reflected a 1-3 day processing time. So obviously I assumed... it would be shipping out the next day.
Fast forward to now, 10 days later, and there are still no order updates and a shipping label hasn't even been created. My estimated arrival date is in 4 days and at this point I'm pretty much certain I won't be getting the order by then since the seller hasn't even brought it to the post office yet.
I haven't gotten any messages from the seller explaining why there is a delay or giving me a new estimate of what to expect.
I understand Etsy is individual sellers and they're not Amazon and I'm okay waiting for something for a little bit. Being a few days off the Etsy estimated arrival is definitely reasonable. But I'm just confused since what's happening doesn't match up to what was claimed when I bought it.
It was meant as a gift for someone so it does kind of matter when it gets here, I mean I have a month before their birthday but I still want to know it'll be here by then for sure. It's part of the reason I chose this seller, who was more expensive than everyone else, because their processing was fast.
Should I message the seller and ask what's going on? Would that come across as rude? What should I say to them?
Do I just need to be patient or am I justified in being a little frustrated?

I happily drove a 2008 RAV4 up until a few months ago when I sold it in order to upgrade to something with lower miles and from the last decade. I’ve settled on wanting a 2020 or newer RAV4 XLE with the weather package, and ideally convenience package as well but that is less important to me than weather.
I have 3 great options (all things considered given the market and lack of private owner stock on the market anywhere nearby) but I could use this group’s advice deciding between the below 3 cars.

I will be paying in cash. The first two are from no-haggle dealerships.

They are in their 80s and have always been independent, but they are slowing down. Last week my MIL went to the hospital while traveling, and my husband went out to advocate for her, support his dad emotionally, and get the two of them to their home state several hours away. He got them home Thursday and has been spending the rest of the time getting them settled back in at home and visiting.
He texted me that a few hours ago, it came up that they are giving $1200 every month to their church at the behest of their pastor. They have some savings, but a fixed income is a fixed income, and this is almost equal to their mortgage payment.
This is all i know so far. My husband is talking to them about it and i hope that they will listen.
But i am FURIOUS at this pastor. Who the hell takes $1200 every month from a couple in their 80s like that? There's no way that this is normal. I can't imagine what that pastor must be telling them to convince them that this is a good idea.
I'm sorry that my info is limited so far but I'm sitting here at home, 800 miles away, absolutely seething about this. We're now touching base with my sister in law, who lives about an hour from them, to establish much more regular communication between us and her, and we will be calling my inlaws at least once a week to chat and keep up on what they're up to. I feel some shame that we did not do this earlier but i guess nobody wants to realize that their parents are nearing the ends of their lives and needs help. And I'm pretty terrified about what will come next, and what's coming next for my own folks (who are ten years younger but also need more attention and care to keep them safe and happy these days). I know it's all part of life but i am afraid i won't be up for the task of helping with whatever they need, and it's EXTREMELY important to me that I be there for all four of my parents.

There’s a family that I’ve been speaking with, and I heard through the grape vine that they have been through 6 nannies, all of them have quit. The longest lasting about a year, one lasted 3 months and the others lasted a few weeks or less. Would you consider this a red flag?

I am seeing a neurologist in a month due to frequent migraines and nerve issues (burning, pins and needles, electric shocks, itching).
I had an MRI done six years ago (first and only), and I had a delayed reaction where I felt burning all over my skin. At first I thought the machine had somehow burned me, as my face turned red and swollen like a sunburn. But then hives showed up on my arms and especially my back. They were so huge, they combined to form large red welts.
I have had several CT scans, and never had a reaction to that contrast dye.
Yes, I know gadolinium allergies are rare, but I did not consume, use, or come into contact with anything out of the ordinary that day or even that week. There is no other explanation other than it was the contrast. My having asthma and other medication/chemical allergies also makes it a bit more likely.
So my questions are:

1. Are there other contrast dyes for MRIs that don’t have gadolinium?
   
2. Can they give me Benadryl or something else beforehand to anticipate and combat the allergic reaction?
   
3. Can they detect MS without contrast?

Years ago, at the start of 7th grade, my work ethic / motivation to do school work dropped to zero. I ended 6th grade just fine, and I had just done a 6 week summer program where I didn't miss any homework. I needed lots of support throughout the school year to get it back up to where it was before. I suddenly had very zero motivation to do homework, my brain just kept telling me to avoid it. Today still feels like a mystery how that even happened / how that was even possible.
I wonder if it was I started puberty around that time, I had turned 12 that past June and started masturbating just a few weeks before the school year began. I didn't do sex ed back in 5th grade while the rest of my class did, and don't know much about puberty. During puberty, I didn't notice any particular changes to my body other than sexuality and growing facial hair. I never got weirded out by changes, it just happened.

I (21F) was diagnosed with bursitis in my right shoulder when I was 17 - dr figured it was because of repetitive motion at my job & sport. I did PT for about 6 months, it helped. But my shoulder has still hurt on and off over the years. I do at home exercises, wear a brace and ice when needed. Usually the pain subsides. Lately it’s worse - I’ve lost range of motion - weakness in my hand/forearm, my neck and upper back are screaming constantly. And now my right hip is having the same symptoms. I woke up yesterday morning in agony. My right side- lower & middle back, right hip, right knee, right shoulder and neck muscles were tight and hot when touched. Nothing helped with the pain When I saw my PCP he said it was because of my bad posture and gait (my right food points out - I have never noticed this before)

Hi everyone,
Around 6 months ago I volunteered to assist a ta with their lab work. I was excited about the research topic and was hoping to participate a lot more than I got to. I was initially given smaller tasks and I think things just fell apart after that. The ta was happy with my work but there was not much else I was given. The communication b/w us was fairly weak as well. Most of the time I never got any responses from them, however, I am aware they are a very busy individual. I can say some of this is my fault since I began participating less and less in weekly meetings with the whole lab and offering to travel for some other roles (I felt I had nothing to offer during those meetings and exams and school work was getting hectic). Anyways, now that it's summer and I am moving on to graduate school in a completely different field, I just don't see myself volunteering there anymore, I feel another individual may be more suited for this role and cannot figure out how to email them telling them I want to leave. Any advice would be appreciated!

Let me start off by recognizing I know miatas are known for their mystery noises ; especially those with high mileage. Any information I can use to help narrow down the possibilities will be appreciated.
99 1.8L NB 6-speed manual, 260Km.
Sound 1. A very slight ticking at all times, except when I touch the clutch. The slightest touch on the peddle stops it. Started after a clutch install a few years ago so I'm assuming it's a bearing..? Not that noticeable so not too worried - but it would be good to do something about it if possible.
Sound 2. Ticking/tapping once its warmed up. Started after a misfire which was fixed with a plug and leads change. Obviously audible in the cabin - and slightly audible when under the car. Can't hear it at all under the bonnet or when above 3K rpm. Consistent frequency - unaffected by speed or revs. Occurs consistently under load - most obvious when blipping the throttle. Really inconsistent frequency when idling; one or two taps every few seconds. Confident it's not lifters, fans, or belts. Checked the hoses going into the firewall; can't see anything obvious.
Thoughts?

A year ago I got pregnant unexpectedly and ended up having an ectopic pregnancy. I had to have emergency surgery to take out my Fallopian tube, and it was really devastating.
I thought I would be okay to start dating, but I guess that’s where I was wrong. I met this guy and I dated him for a little over a month, and it was going great. He was attractive, smart, and we had a lot in common. I was really anxious about dating someone, and I worried about how my pregnancy might impact how a potential future partner might view me.
I wasn’t planning on bringing it up so soon, but a couple weeks ago he invited me out with his friends and I drank way too much. The full effect of the alcohol didn’t hit me until he was driving me home. For whatever reason, I decided to tell him the story. I’m not 100% sure what I told him, but when I woke up the next morning I definitely cringed.
He didn’t bring up the story, but he started acting really distant and uninterested. He avoided phone calls and kept the communication to a minimum. He even went out of his way to bring me the jacket I left at his house, and dropped it off when he knew I wouldn’t be home.
The next day he sent me a text saying that he really enjoyed spending time with me, but that he didn’t see us going anywhere and wished me luck on my upcoming exams.
I have been trying not to beat myself up over this, but I feel horrible. I did send a text asking if we could talk about what happened, and he never responded.
I’m not mad at his response, I dumped the story on him at a very inappropriate time and it might just have been too much. I wish I would have waited to tell the story, and I also wish that I was sober. I don’t think (or hope) he was judging me for getting pregnant, but I think it was clear I’m not ready for anything serious. He’s a lot more settled in his life, so I do understand.
I’m using this as a lesson, and this has made me realize that I still have a lot of healing to do and that maybe I’m not ready for a relationship. It’s not fair to expect someone to stay when I’m clearly not ready. This is some pretty heavy emotional baggage, and even though I’m disappointed one day I will be ready.

Basically I started Testosterone about a month ago. Before starting T I had been suffering a lot, like for the past 2 years, chronic fatigue, sleep issues, depression, motivation issues, achey joints, underweight and unable to gain weight, and I know there is more but I can't remember them at this moment. Pre T I had went to many doctors over the years and they were never helpful and I never got diagnosed for anything, pretty much was just told I had a low pain tolerance and that I was fine, even though the pain was to the point I couldn't walk and I could hardly stay awake during the day (and I'm on Adderall for my ADHD). After I started T, like after 3 days, I noticed a drastic change in my energy and mood, and after about a month I feel the healthiest I've ever been. I've seen that people often feel better after T like in their mood and that can lead to a better outlook and ultimately better health but it just seems like there is a physical change in my body that it better for me. I had missed a couple days of T since the pharmacy couldn't get it to me and everything plummeted again, fatigue, soreness, irritable, no motivation, terrible sleep, etc. Is this something anyone else experienced? Or is there some explanation that anyone might know of? I'm genuinely curious because it been such a major and positive change so I'd appreciate any input, thanks!

Hello! I am a employee of a non corporate Starbucks that is inside a Target shopping center. So I technically work for target and get Target benefits. However a bunch of things have been happening since I was hired 11 months ago.
So my main team lead for Starbucks (we can call her bossy), doesn’t know how to do her job. That’s right, she has worked at the SAME position for 25+ years and doesn’t know how to do her job (that’s not even the worse part). Just today she clocked out of her shift 20 mins early without telling ANYONE! Then she went to sit with her friends as I am now by myself struggling to make and take orders with a long line with about a 20 min wait time. Bossy and her friends just WATCHED me struggle with the orders. She never told me why she clocked out early even, she was NO WHERE NEAR overtime for the week. Besides that, she left us alone off and on four times for a total of 3ish hours. Didn’t have a reason but “emails”. My other team leads said it only takes 20 mins PER WEEK to work on emails, she takes 2+ hours PER DAY, and she won’t say when she is leaving to do it. If I ask where she was, she just says emails and not to worry.
She also doesn’t give us barista’s free drinks or food, yet claims to her Starbucks bosses that she does. Since I’ve been hired, I’ve never gotten a free drink from her, she is supposed to be doing it more often, but doesn’t. Even worse though, us baristas are NOT allowed to have water on hand. By state law we are supposed to have a designated area for water to go. We do not have one, we brought this up to her and Bossy ignored us. So we are LUCKY if we get to drink ANYTHING between breaks (about 4 hours), and our Target isn’t cooling off fast enough to beat the heat, so it’s humid and hot inside the store. We brought this up to a higher team lead and they also ignored us. Hell, even HR ignored me!
Now the team lead above bossy and is the front of the store team lead who is responsible for scheduling (let’s call him EL for entitled leader), has refused me to be trained in other parts of the store. I’ve been BEGGING for 2 months to be trained in ANY position and no longer work Starbucks, and that I don’t care where and I won’t complain. Plus we are in dire need of staff however the store refuses to hire new people and instead burns out it’s own employees. He moved me to lanes 2 times, other then that I’ve only been in Starbucks. I tried asking again and he ignored me. There is 3 team lead positions opening up within the next 2 weeks and I feel like if I ask they won’t allow me to apply just because. ALSO EL hates giving vacation time or days of, even though your not available that day for whatever reason, he will still put you on the schedule. I requested a weekend off 2 months in advance, and he kept denying it for no reason.
I wish there were other jobs near by that paid as much or better then Target, but none of them come close, and as a person finishing high school, I prefer a higher paying job. However the management at Target, in the part of the store where I work, is so bad I want to quit.
ALSO!!!! Almost all of the baristas are DRAMA! And I’ve been so mistreated over my mental and physical health that I can’t take it. As a person who gets triggered and can easily get panic attacks I did warn them that if I run to the back randomly I just need a min. One time I did that after a miserable week, I ran to the back struggling to breathe. One barista that was about to clock out for lunch turned around, looked at me, and said, “What the f*ck is wrong with you?!” I slowly said panic attack through gasps and shaking and all she said was “Well get back to work then, it’s not that bad.” HUH!? I’m barely able to stand in front of you, wdym?
There is another barista that makes fun of me because I can’t spell names for the life of me. So I often ask customers to spell it for me and I always hear behind me, then spelling it super slow interrupting the customer as they are making drinks.
Now, is this normal and I’m frustrated over nothing, or are my feelings accurate. Cause to me it’s EXTREMELY infuriating.
