DD free Half Chinese the other half German Irish, brown eyes/hazel eyes, Black Brown (now grey) hair, board shoulder build, somewhere between endomorph (70) and a mesomorph (30) body type. Although I wouldn't claim I was athletic; back in my mid 30's I was able to complete both the P90x, P90x Doubles and Insanity programs. No family history of cancers, diabetes, heart disease and all that fun stuff. Not 19 vaxed nor have I caught it, despite being mostly active during that time. I was part of a clinical trial but received the placebo. Don't get sick often and not on any drugs, prescription, non-prescription, OTC, or from the dude at the corner of the street. Used to have better than 20/20 but now that I'm older it's just 20/20, I thought I needed glasses but apparently this is how people with 20/20 see. College educated and often accused of being smart, I tend to think differently, but I'm not sure if that's nature or nurture, both my parents were intelligent in their own ways. On my mother's side (Irish German) males stand around 6'2" big frame, females 5'2" small frame on my father's side ( Chinese) males 5'7" female 5'2" small frames. I stand at 5'7" with a 6' arm span, usually those are close to a 1:1 proportion but as stated above I have pretty broad shoulders.
That's enough about me, let's talk about you...in relation to me: As a Sperm Donor with little to no involvement after(40% interest) the only thing I'm looking for is that you are DD free and capable of caring for a child, single or multiple times, anonymous or unanimous is workable just state the preference.
As a kink or lifestyle (20% interest) this is pretty much a play by ear, I'm pretty open to a lot of things be it risk play, cuckolding, swinging, or whatever. So aside from being wordy, I shift between being talkative and quiet. Single with no kids, I have a place in Pahrump NV and Frederick MD. Although I call Pahrump home I grew up in Jersey. I'm a pretty self sufficient and self reliant person, with a general proficiency in most things be it labor or intellectually intensive, pretty resilient and extremely adaptive. I'm told I'm too funny but have yet to get a girl to laugh so hard that her clothes fell off and was teleported to my bed, although funny enough to have her pants peed in. I appreciate most forms of humor, but let's face it I'm looking to up my dad joke game here, so if you're horny for corny... I tend to enjoy dark humor to a potentially disturbing level, at least that's what the people locked in my basement keep saying, actually that's not true I don't have a basement. I enjoy audio books (for entertainment or learning) as well as actual books (for learning) , I don't have a genre specific music I like just specific songs but if I'm just listening I'll usually listen to EDM, dubstep, 60's - 90's, or ridiculous (parody or amusing) music. Big movie fan can spend all day in a theater, but enjoy at home streaming as well. I also enjoy video, board, and the occasional card games. I hate to say I enjoy working out or going to the gym because it doesn't feel true but it's also not untrue. I also walk my two dogs a lot which they enjoy way more than I do. Overall I'm a pretty laid back, patiently understanding temperament, seemingly going with the flow, blend in with the normal kind of guy. Which balances out (as all things should be)with my very out of the ordinary perspectives, weird thinking, and just plain strange situations I get in.

I wanted to take a moment to talk about a recent policy change on Reddit that has many of us concerned. On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced that they would be raising the price of API calls, which could have a devastating impact on many beloved third-party mobile apps.
More information about this here. As a Reddit user and a fan of these apps, I'm worried about what this change could mean for the future of Reddit.
To protest this policy change, many subreddits will be going dark on June 12th. While some subreddits will return after 48 hours, others may go away permanently unless the issue is addressed. I fully support this protest and the efforts to raise awareness about this issue.

The 2022 Midterm Election is the most important midterm of our lifetime.Democrats must behave as if our lives depend on this midterm, because our future depends on the outcome.
”We the people” must deny the Republican party political power at every level of government for decades to come “in order to create a more perfect union.” With 48 States having some statewide contest(s), November 8th, 2022 is our best chance the Democrats will get to do that for the rest of this decade, at least.
”The List” encourages the election of a Democratic Supermajority in the US Senate in 2022. This is the best chance we will have to create a Democratic Supermajority in both Chambers of Congress for the remainder of this decade. This midterm could be a devastating loss for the democrats if good patriots ignore this election. If Americans of good conscience band together instead, we could could begin the exile of the Republican party from power, not for years, but for decades to come.
“The List” is a set of suggestions about where to focus collective activism today.
The election of Democratic Supermajorities to both chambers of the US Congress is the best outcome we can strive towards in the 2022 Midterm Election for many reasons. Among them: breaking the decade of gridlock in Congress, supporting President Biden’s agenda, and his re-election in 2024. My personal favorite is that this could commence the decades-long political banishment of the GOP from power, which the Republican Party so richly deserves.
The Republican party has proved itself treasonous on many levels. They are traitors to Humanity by supporting Trump. Traitors to the Nation for supporting Putin. Traitors to the government and betrayers of the constitution through their apologies for the 1/6/21 insurrection. To safeguard our country and the world, we must block the Republicans from power at the ballot box, at all levels of government, for at least a generation.
Political game playing may be inevitable among humans. Change the numbers, and then change the rules, if not the game. Cynical refusal to play at this time in history cedes power to NAZIs manipulated by Active Measures. That is a surrender to crypto fascism, not radical thinking, mere cynicism, or hipsterism.
In 2022, Patriots must unify to crush the Republican Party at the ballot box. We can defeat them in every State, at every level. We need the biggest turnout at the voting booth of any Midterm ever. We need to raise more money for candidates and organizations than we did during the entire 2020 campaign season if we are to accomplish this. We need to do this in the next six months.
This is what a “Blue Tsunami” REALLY looks like.

I can't believe it.
So a No Somniel run pretty much means that during the run, all activities that are done in the Somniel are banned. There are several combat-related implications of this - no refining weapons (no early strong weapons like a Levin Sword until Ch. 11 for example and can only use base weapons), no engravings, no Bond Rings, no cooking, no activities, no Well, and no Arena. The early Steel weapons that you get upon going to the Somniel from an update are banned as well as the Heroes rewards (the Bond Rings and the weapons, Folkvangr, Fensalir, and Noatun). No Arena means that leveling up the bond rank of Emblems on each character will have to be done in the maps themselves and skill inherits are impossible. Reclassing is still possible, but more difficult now that you have to level up bond ranks in maps and because weapon proficiencies past bond rank 5 will need at least two maps with the Emblem Ring. No DLC either, but that doesn't impact me since I don't have it anyway. And while it's not a Somniel activity, I didn't have Network Connection enabled for the weapon drops, EXP, and other small benefits scattered on a map. I had finished a normal Ironman run with no big issues (one death, RIP Louis), but I went into this run fully expecting to lose it. An Ironman means no using the Draconic Time Crystal, so no rewinding my mistakes and every input I make is final. If a character dies because of my poor decisions or they get crit by the enemy, they remain dead.
Run casualties:

• Chloe: Died in Ch. 6. Fog of war claimed another life. Chloe got hit by an axe fighter and a thief that I didn't have vision of. It was entirely my mistake to overextend with her when I could've just played it safe. I was going to use Chloe this run as an early carry before likely transitioning her to a more support based role if her combat couldn't keep up.
  
• Yunaka: Died in Ch. 8. Overall, I think Chloe's death kinda snowballed the deaths in Ch. 8. Going into this chapter, I lost a character that was going to be one of my early carries. Lapis was Chloe's replacement, but I needed to get staff proficiency on her just in case I was going to pivot her to a support later (especially since I can't get staff proficiency for a long time after Ch. 10). Lapis therefore had to have Micaiah for several maps and I tried to continue using Marth on Alear on Ch. 8 instead as a carry. However, because of my poor timing of Engage attacks and just being badly positioned because I was unprepared for when Kagetsu and Zelkov started moving, I got myself in a situation that required me to hit a 65% to defeat Kagetsu. Missed the 65% and Yunaka died to him.
  
• Framme: Died in Ch. 8. I didn't have Lodestar Rush or enough power in general to take down Ivy in one turn. But I had to start taking down her health bars eventually otherwise I would have game over'ed since enemies would've reached the target point. As such, almost all of my units were in range of Ivy at that point and she had free reign to choose whoever she wanted to kill. In the end, she chose to Killer Axe crit Framme to death (Framme would've died even without the crit).
  
• Celine: Died in Ch. 10. I'm really mad at myself for this death because Celine died on turn one. I calculated how much damage she would take from the armor and pegasus knight on the left if they both hit her and concluded if Celine was next to Alear, she would live at 1 HP. Well, she didn't live at 1 HP because I didn't account for the Resonance damage from having Celica on her. And of course both the armor and pegasus knight hit their 50% attacks. Celine was my only early game carry because Chloe had died. And now she was dead on turn one of a difficult 2-part map.
  
• Diamant: Died in Ch. 10. Got frozen by Hortensia and I couldn't get in range to Restore him without risking Alear's death to Hortensia's Dragon effective Luin. However, I did forget to have him equip a lighter weapon and because he had the armorslayer equipped, he got doubled by Hortensia and died. I don't fully remember if he could've lived if he wasn't doubled by Hortensia (because there were other enemies around him), but I'm still frustrated at myself for letting that happen. I don't know if it's just me, but I always have trouble with taking down Hortensia in this chapter; on my normal Ironman run, I had to resort to freezing her due to a lucky early Freeze staff from the Well, but alas, no such resources like that exist in a No Somniel run.
  

RIP Chloe, Yunaka, Framme, Celine, and Diamant.
The Final Team:
Some quick notes - the screenshot on the top has HP tonics already applied to everyone so subtract 5 if you want to see their true HP. That was the first thing I did when I went into the final map and then thought maybe I should screenshot everyone. The screenshot on the bottom has everyone with their Emblem Rings and full tonics applied to them.

• Martial Master Alear (Lucina): I really like support Alear and having them as the Bonded Shielder has worked wonders in my previous playthroughs. I figured that I would need Alear's +3 flat damage for my carries and since they support everyone in the cast, they provide +10 hit for free as well. I chose to go with Martial Master Alear because my combat carries were going to be in several different class types and I wanted the flexibility to have 100% activation rate on Bonded Shield for all of them if the need arises. I also really like Chain Guard. As such, in early game, I fed Alear experience through Mercurius farming and then gave them Micaiah to get staff proficiency and to farm via Great Sacrifice. By Ch. 11, Alear was a Griffin Knight because I believe having Alear in a flying class in Ch. 11 is invaluable so you can quickly reach the point on the map to trigger Ivy, Zelkov, and Kagetsu to join you before you get overwhelmed by Corrupted with Emblems. After staying a few more chapters in Griffin (until I could give Alear Lucina after getting sword proficiency off of her on another character), Alear became a Martial Master and mainly Bonded Shielded or Chain Guarded. Not being able to Micaiah Engrave a Shielding Art to drive enemy hit rates close to 0% meant that I had to be more cognizant of where I used Bonded Shield. The enemy AI mostly decides which character to attack based on expected damage (combination of actual damage they'll do in a round of combat, how likely it is they'll hit, and their crit chance on you is also factored in). So when Bonded Shielding, I had to make sure that Alear was not going to get targeted and if they were, that they were not going to get killed from it. As such, it wasn't as simple as plop two units down and go to town deleting enemies, but it was still really strong nonetheless.

Stat Boosters: One Boots, one Seraph Robe, one Speedwing, three Dracoshields, three Talismans, two Goddess Icons

• Wyvern Knight Amber (Lyn): For Amber, I was particularly cognizant of the fact that in my previous normal Ironman run, he sometimes had 90% hit rates in the endgame despite having a +hit rate engraving on his lances. That's why I decided to go with sword/lance Wyvern instead of axe/lance Wyvern even though it would've been easier to get axe proficiency on him (axe proficiency is at bond rank 2 on Leif while any sword proficiency requires at least bond rank 6, which means at least two maps worth of using a specific Emblem vs. just one). That decision really paid off. Amber was mostly using swords throughout the midgame of this playthrough because he wasn't getting 90%+ hit on lances even while I was activating his personal for +20 hit. I can only imagine his hit rates while using axes... it just spells disaster if a crucial attack misses in an Ironman (Yunaka's death...). If I saw Amber's hit rate really going into the gutter by the endgame, I was prepared to have him switch to Sniper and just kill fliers, but that never ended up happening especially after I used all my Secret Books on him (none of my other combat characters could use them since many of them capped dex and for those that didn't, they were accurate anyway). Amber remained good throughout even though by endgame, he rarely one-rounded enemies.

Stat Boosters: One Energy Drop, three Secret Books, one Speedwing

• Warrior Kagetsu (Roy): I had my sights set on getting Kagetsu into Warrior despite Wyvern being easier to reclass into and still a strong class for him because I felt I needed the absolute best out of my units to get through this run (and I believe Warrior is Kagetsu's best class). Getting him into Warrior was a bit of an endeavor, but having to delegate an Emblem to Kagetsu wasn't going to make the game harder; on the contrary, it likely made things easier because Kagetsu is such a strong unit to start with. Kagetsu immediately got Lyn for Ch. 12 and 13 to get bow proficiency. This worked out for me in a lot of ways because Ch. 12 is an easy chapter so Emblem allocation isn't that important to get through the map. Plus, Lyn on Kagetsu for Ch. 12 doubles the Wolf Knights once you get two Speedtaker stacks so I found it quite nice having Lyn on him. And my strategy for Ch. 13 always involved Lyn on Kagetsu (see my chapter thoughts in the comments) anyway. Now, he's got bow proficiency just in time for Ch. 14, where Ike immediately goes on Kagetsu to get axe proficiency. And soon after, he's a Warrior and just snowballed from there. I was initially a bit worried about using axes at all in this playthrough considering their low base hit rates (I was prepared to pivot Kagetsu into Wyvern and have him use swords if I needed to), but Kagetsu had 100% hit rate with a Silver Axe often. His Longbow was accurate too (same base hit rate as Silver Axe). Overall, Kagetsu snowballed hard. And when I got Roy on him, and eventually the Binding Blade unlocked, he could clear entire groups of enemies by himself (cleared the entire top lane of Ch. 24 himself with just a healer nearby). After this run, I wholeheartedly believe Roy is Kagetsu's best Emblem and it reaffirms my belief that Warrior is Kagetsu's best class. He just hits so hard with axes and doesn't take much damage either. Wyvern's great for Kagetsu, but really, try him in Warrior if you get the chance. He won't need crits to one-round, only a Silver Axe. If he can cleanly one-round a ton of endgame enemies with just a base Silver Axe and no inherits on this kind of challenge run, actually forging a Silver Axe up a bit and maybe giving it an engrave should achieve similar or better results than what I got as I'm pretty sure my Kagetsu is about average strength-wise (+1 strength than average if I calculated correctly, he got two Energy Drops and is overleveled which is why his strength looks astronomical). My Kagetsu was speed screwed (speed and build were lower than average in the midgame) for nearly the entire run because he should've capped speed way before looping and he didn't cap until after looping in Warrior. That actually mattered a few times and it made me really miss having Speed+X on him, but it wasn't something I couldn't work around and he was a powerhouse regardless.

Stat Boosters: One Boots, one Seraph Robe, two Energy Drops

• Mage Knight Pandreo (Marth): After I got Pandreo, I immediately gave him Lucina to get sword proficiency to switch into Mage Knight. He did pretty well in Mage Knight, but it wasn't until after getting partway through Ch. 17 (gave him Eirika so he got bond rank 3 for Bravery at that moment and got the Bolganone that Griss drops), where he really started to snowball. After that, he could consistently one-round a lot of enemies without help until Ch. 20. Unfortunately, that's when his speed cap in Mage Knight caught up and in the endgame, 31 base speed that is not quite enough without a bit of speed boosting from an Emblem considering I cannot inherit Speed+X. In the last couple of chapters, I mostly used Marth (sometimes switched to Eirika) on Pandreo. Marth has some +speed stat boosts innately and can boost damage as well if Engaged via Divine Speed providing an additional attack at 50% damage. Using Marth on a magic unit was something I did before when I played around and used Mage Knight Kagetsu lol It worked well then and it worked well now. This Mage Knight Pandreo's stats besides magic have actually been the least impressive I've had so far. I think his magic is maybe around +2 to +3 above average though (I forget what level I class changed him from High Priest to Mage Knight), which more than makes up for his other stat deficiencies. I'm just surprised he didn't cap dex or resistance by the end of the game when he usually does. Nonetheless, Pandreo was a powerhouse and carried the run like Kagetsu even though I couldn't just send him into a group of enemies without being covered by Bonded Shield and know he'll live whilst taking them all down (unless it's a group of enemies with Great weapons he can double, those are fodder to Pandreo).

Stat Boosters: Three Spirit Dusts

• Warrior Merrin (Eirika): Unlike with Kagetsu, I didn't go through four whole maps of raising bond ranks up for Merrin to change classes. That's because she'll probably end up being able to change into Warrior by Ch. 18 if I did that. Meanwhile, if I just waited until Ch. 17 to get Leif back, I would have Warrior Merrin in time for Ch. 19. It's a one chapter lag for a huge team power difference from Ch. 14 through 17 as one of my stronger units wouldn't be able to use Lyn or Ike. Merrin mostly chipped as a Wolf Knight and even when I got her into Warrior, she still was chipping (occasionally, she would one-shot fliers with the Radiant Bow) because her damage wasn't good enough and she was under the level curve. Plus, her hit rates were shaky for a good amount of time. However, I wanted her to be more so I kept feeding her kills whenever I could and I gave her Eirika after I got Marth back. With Eirika, she could sometimes do some great damage with a Brave Axe (and Eirika's damage boost helped her hit some one-round thresholds with a bow on magical enemies, that's how low her damage output was). But once she got access to Sieglinde, she could finally one-round some endgame enemies due to effective damage.

Stat Boosters: One Speedwing

• Thief Zelkov (Byleth): Bought a Short Knife just for him because I didn't want this unlucky guy to get randomly crit if he faced any combat, but in hindsight with all the luck that Byleth provides, maybe that wasn't necessary. Byleth on a covert gives +5 speed when Instructing and after a Goddess Dance and considering that I cannot inherit Speed+X on my characters, I knew I was going to need the speed buff since the speed thresholds get really high on Maddening. In the end, that speed buff wasn't needed for my primary carries (Kagetsu and Pandreo) until Ch. 20, but after that, it really was needed. Pandreo caps speed in Mage Knight at 31 (so with a speed tonic, Special Dance from Seadall, and Chaos Style activated, Pandreo can only naturally double enemies that are at 34 speed or below) and Kagetsu caps speed in Warrior at 35 (so with a speed tonic, Special Dance from Seadall, and while Engaged with Roy, Kagetsu can only naturally double enemies that are at 38 speed or below). From what I saw, enemy speed can reach up to 44 so that Instruct was absolutely needed so that they could double enemies up to 39 or 43 speed respectively.
  
• Dancer Seadall (Sigurd): I don't think there's much to say about Seadall except that I put Sigurd on him because I only have one Canter to give out and having it on a dancer felt like the most useful. I can't use Override, but that's a small price to pay for the flexibility in positioning for Goddess Dances.
  
• Sage Citrinne (Corrin): Citrinne replaced Celine's role as an early game carry after Celine's death. While she only really had one map to shine (Ch. 11), she really did shine in that map. I luckily had the foresight to get a melee weapon proficiency on Citrinne in case I needed to make her a Mage Knight. I could've promoted her to Sage, but I compared the stats and saw that Mage Knight Citrinne would double a lot of enemies on Ch. 11's map and that's what I needed at the time. Citrinne put in a lot of work that map, immediately one-rounding the first axe fighter (if not for Roy's Hold Out). I had Citrinne stay in Mage Knight for several chapters as she was my best option for a magical carry for some time (Pandreo was stuck in High Priest for several chapters while having Lucina equipped before he can reclass) and her performance was pretty good. If I kept using her for combat and gave her resources like Lyn, I feel she would've turned out great. But in the end, Citrinne reclassed to Sage once I got Corrin because she was one of my few units that could be in a Mystical class (no tome proficiency to work towards either for a long time) and pivoted into a support role after that (which was my intention with Celine once I reached that point). She was great nonetheless. Corrin on a Mystical unit is a tried and true combo that I really like because it means being able to debuff and freeze enemies in place from three range (especially important now that I don't have Canter), and the Fire Dragon Vein is the most useful one imo. In all honesty, I didn't use the Fire Dragon Vein much to ward enemies off. My combat carries were strong enough that I rarely needed it. As such, it was mostly spammed to raise Corrin's bond rank. But it was still great to have that option in my back pocket in case I needed it.
  
• Griffin Knight Lapis: Lapis replaced Chloe, but not as well as Citrinne replaced Celine. I couldn't really use Lapis much in combat because she had to have Micaiah equipped to get staff proficiency in the early game. I think I messed up and didn't focus enough on leveling Lapis's bond rank with Micaiah because she had to keep Micaiah all the way until Ch. 11 to get the proficiency. But tbf to myself, I nearly lost the run on Ch. 8 so leveling up bond rank wasn't on the forefront of my mind. By Ch. 11, there was no real justification I could make to try to make her combat work. As like any other staff user, she did her job.
  
• Cupido Fogado: I was unable to get Fogado off the ground in this playthrough. He was alright up to around when I did Roy's Paralogue as he could still one-shot the Wyverns there with a Radiant Bow even if his hit rates were in the 70s (had to just make sure to have a backup plan if he did miss, which he did a few times); but soon after that, I couldn't consistently find ways to have him contribute and he was left in the dust. I still brought him into the final chapter because maybe some of the chip damage he could do to fliers would help and I felt like I had enough staff users (he actually was helpful in two occasions on the final map!).
  
• Lindwurm Ivy (Ike): I probably would've used Ivy as a carry if not for the fact that she faces crit from nearly every enemy. Her inaccuracy with tomes is a problem as well, but I didn't need her to chip too often. Essentially, no engravings to fix these issues meant she was relegated to staff duty. She did her job and I think throughout this playthrough she had higher offensive staff hit rate (Freeze, Fracture) than Hortensia most of the time, though it wasn't by a significant amount. After midgame, Ike eventually went on Ivy mainly because I have just one source of Reposition (I really missed not being able to put this skill on most of my support units) and I wanted it on a flier.
  
• Slepnir Rider Hortensia (Micaiah): Nothing to really say about this as it's as standard and straightforward as can be. She and Citrinne had held a Surge tome just in case I needed someone with 100% accuracy to finish off an enemy (this did happen a couple of times this playthrough).
  
• Griffin Knight Mauvier (Leif): He's a staff user that can luckily take a few hits because he did need to survive a few in my playthrough. I put Leif on him because Leif wasn't doing much on anyone else after the midgame. But then again, it didn't much on Mauvier either besides being used to Quadruple Strike the Dark Bishop on the final map.
  
• Sage Veyle (Celica): I kinda messed up because I didn't realize Veyle had access to S tomes in her Fell Child class and the main thing I wanted to do was use her with Nova. I could've saved myself the trouble of reclassing, but in the end, it was okay because reclassing to Sage does increase Veyle's offensive stats. I do miss out on the Fell Child class skill (which is quite nice), but getting Celica Engage back is low priority anyway so the trade-off was fine. Since my team lacked a second source of magic damage, Veyle was helpful as someone who can do a lot of damage with magic. She didn't one-round a lot of enemies, but her performance was satisfactory.
  

Stat Boosters: One Seraph Robe, one Speedwing
In comments below, I detail my thoughts on the individual chapters if anyone's interested (starting from Ch. 6 since that's the first chapter where something actually happened and where I also had a clear goal in mind for the map). I never thought I would successfully complete this run so I don't have any screenshots to chronicle events from before Ch. 24-ish (also, I forgot to screenshot too many things). I unfortunately don't remember the exact details of the early/midgame chapters that well anymore, but I tried my best to recall whatever information I could. This is listed by the order I tackled the maps. A full turn count, playtime, and MVP list is here.

Recently I just got out of a relationship with my best love, not my first but definitely my best. I figured out he had led me on, and when he dumped me, he blamed everything on me and saying I did nothing but fuck up. I was heartbroken. Not even 24 hours later and he was already bashing to people about this new relationship and how amazing she was. Him and I were together for 4 months, and we're only teenagers. My friends think that he cheated on me with this girl, and there have been a lot of signs to where I don't disagree. Currently we are in the no contact stage. He has blocked me on everything, and goes off to people about how shitty of a person I am. I've been feeling very sick and emotional recently, even before the breakup. The day after we broke up, I decided to take a pregnancy test. We never used protection and that's something I understand is both of our faults for wanting to do it, so I won't blame that on him. It was positive. I didn't really know what to do, but my mom (who I don't live with) has offered to raise it for me while I continue to focus on myself, get through school, and hopefully enlist in the military. My friends we're all supportive, and even ecstatic about this information. They always used joke about me "taking one for the team so they can have a mini me." But now this was actually happening. I didn't know how I was supposed to tell my ex, and he already blocked me on everything so I figured I would have my friend do it for me. I didn't really want him to know, nor did I want him to have anything to do with it, not after he did me so wrong. I also didn't want to ruin his life, even though he messed up my perception of love and trust, I still want him to be happy. I knew he wouldn't like the idea of me keeping it, and when he found out, he blamed everything on me, calling me immature and saying horrible things. I am ashamed of my actions, but I am not embarrassed to admit that I messed up. I am a strong believer in everything happens for a reason, and with this amazing support system I have from my family and friends, I feel like this can be a great opportunity for me. However I feel selfish because I know how not having an actual dad can really mess you up. My dad passed away at a young age, and that void had never been filled. I don't want my child to have to grow up with the void of not knowing about love, or not knowing how to treat a significant other. I'm scared that if I go through with this, then my child will be mentally messed up. However, I know that my friends and family will be nothing but loving to hopefully fill the void, but I'm not sure if it will ever be the same. I have thought about working this out with my ex, hopefully we can come to some sort of agreement, but part of me also believes it's better to have no fatherly figure than an inconsistent one. I know that he wants nothing to do with me or this child, but I want to work it out with him. He is the father of my kid, I miss him, and I still love him. I'm hoping that once he has time to process all of this, maybe we can work something out. If he seriously doesn't want me to keep it, maybe we can come to a mutual agreement. I really want this baby, it's been a dream of mine to become a mom ever since I was little, and I've had horrible ovarian problems, making it almost impossible for me to get pregnant. I seriously think this is a gift from God, but I don't want to be selfish for keeping it.

I spent a lot of time writing all this, so I really hope it at least opens someone’s eyes. Prepare yourself for the longest post you’ve ever read with a huge explination. I was scrolling through my feed a while ago when I saw a comment that on the Bioshock Wiki, there was absolutely no way to make the events of Bioshock 2 and Burial at sea line up due to Suchong’s death. To give some background, I’ve been playing Bioshock as a series since I was WAY too young (I started at 12 years old, I think) and have since then completed the series on numerous occasions (I play through them all 2-3 times a year) and have collected all the audio diaries, read through them multiple times, have studied the story back and forth, and have my house covered from top to bottom in Bioshock replicas, artwork, merchandise, etc. So when I read that, it bothered me purely because there is not actual contradiction of Suchong’s death in Bioshock 2, only *implied* contradiction, which was later retconned to mean something else entirely. Before I go into this, let’s get the facts straight:
- Bioshock 2 is cannon. There’s nothing anyone, including Ken Levine, can do about it except 2k games. It is THE official sequel to Bioshock. I do not care for a single second if it isn’t Levine’s vision for Bioshock, I do not care if he liked some of it and disliked other parts, it couldn’t matter ANY less. It is the sequel. Cloud Chamber even shows on their website that they are creating the 4th game in the series with a logo with a “?” on it, next to the logos of Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite. Let’s get that all out of the way.
- Newer information overrides previous information, but does not de-canonize the entire piece of media. It can even change the meaning behind a situation and the implication without canceling out the entire event (we’ll get to this later). Pay close attention to this example, it will become important: In Return of the Jedi, Leia says she remembers her mother but she died when she was very young. Based on information from Revenge of the Sith, we know this cannot be true anymore, but Return of the Jedi is *still* to this day canon, and that line said be Leia is still canon. Lucas’ original intentions of that line was for it to mean that Leia did in fact remember her mother, as she was not supposed to die in Revenge of the Sith. Lucas’ original plan was for Anakin and Padme to be together with the twins before her death, so Leia WOULD have remembered her. That changed in Revenge of the Sith when Lucas decided that he wanted her to die during childbirth. Here’s the important part…. That did NOT make that line no longer canon or a contradiction, that changed the meaning behind the line. They have even tried to fix this by later implying (as of recently, almost 40 years later, in a book) that the person she was remembering was very close to her as a mother figure but died when she was young.
- Regardless of what anyone says, there is a distinction between implied contradictions that the meaning has changed and DIRECT contradictions. Seeing a character look a way that we know, during the time they existed, should not have looked that way is a direct contradiction. For example, Cindy Meltzer, who was described as having blonde hair and was a very important/key feature in the “Something in the Sea” website/ARG, has brown hair in Bioshock 2. There is no explanation for this other than it being a contradiction. Most people thought that this meant the little sister with Mark who has now become a Big Daddy, was not meant to be Cindy, but we know based on comments from the team behind the game (and an audio diary) that it is 100% Cindy and is just simply an overlook. That is a DIRECT contradiction, whereas implied means that there are other explanations and the original can no longer be possible.
So now let’s get into it. To start, let’s talk about the audio diary from Suchong called “Protecting little ones”. In protecting little ones, Suchong says that: This war, terrible thing, too, but not for Suchong. Everyone scared now. Everyone need ADAM. More than Little Sisters can make. Good news is war makes lots of corpses. Suchong knows way to recycle ADAM from corpse. But can't send Little Sister out to street unprotected. Suchong must think on this.
As many of you know, there are no dates on any of the diaries in Bioshock or Bioshock 2. Many have speculated this diary to be from 1959 AFTER the Kasmir was bombed, but it just simply doesn’t need to be. To start, there is no mention of the war he is talking about being a civil war, he only says war. Many people call the beginnings of war "a war", which usually happen before the start date of an official war (meaning the Civil War could have officially started before 1959, but the significant event that lead the entire city into war was the Kashmir). The only two takeaways here is that he’s calling it a war and that bodies are piling up on the streets.
Before there was a civil war, there was another major event that would have began to cause bodies to pile up on the streets: The war on Smuggling, which eventually became, Fontaine vs. Ryan. The city was already at a point in 1958 where the conflict between the two powerhouses would’ve caused the general population to begin in-fighting. Splicers were already becoming prominent in Rapture, some of these even being smugglers. Outside of regular bodies potentially piling up on the street, shootouts between Ryan’s men and Fontaine’s would not have been something unusual to see in Rapture. It could very well be implied that the citizens in Rapture were beginning to become unruly and unhappy with Ryan’s rule, and I am sure many feuds between regular citizens broke out as well, causing more bodies. I want to also say, while there isn’t direct evidence that the war being talked about by Suchong is the Fontaine vs Ryan war, there is nothing that proves he was talking about the Civil War or the Fontaine and Ryan war. HOWEVER, there is proof that bodies WERE piling up before the official start date of the Rapture Civil War in 1959. The main proof of this is the beginning of Bioshock 2, where right outside of the New Years Eve party in 1958, there is a body laying in the road for Eleanor to gather Adam from. While a bit shakier, there is also bodies piled up in Fontaine’s department store, which were not prisoners. Many different things can be implied that don’t have direct, contradictory proof, regardless on if there is 100% solid proof of the idea.
Now we need to talk about the protector program itself. There is no solid proof on who all was involved with the protector program before Suchong died, or who was fully working together, etc. The only solid information we have is that both Suchong and Gilbert worked on the protectors being bonded to the little sisters. It’s important to note a couple of things about the protector program and the bonds those protectors have:
- The Pair bond was never implied to be the same protector bond we see in Bioshock.
- There are two Big Daddy/Pair bond audio diaries in Bioshock 2 mentioning Suchong. But it is never explicity stated how long Suchong was working with Gil, or that they never worked together. It is more than possible that Gil AND Suchong did not see eye to eye and Suchong had his own proposal to make to Ryan with the protectors. While this is just a theory, there is no solid proof to say this did not happen.
- There are no dates on the two audio diaries. Audio diaries in the Bioshock games are NOT found in the orders of which they are recorded.
- In the business and manufacturing world, it is not uncommon to have more than one company or team battling over creating a product that does the same thing, for approval by a CEO or leader of a company. It is also not uncommon to have internal teams battling over the approval of a project or product. This happens frequently and regularly.
The first audio Diary in Bioshock 2 regarding this that you find is called “Improving on Suchong’s work”. In the audio diary, Gilbert describes Suchong as being careless with his work when leaving it behind (allowing himself to be killed) which is not a very positive thing to say about someone who is a colleague. Here is the transcript: Doctor Suchong’s death was a nasty blow to the Protector program, but I'm gradually settling into his role, picking up the slack that his carelessness left behind. We are gaining steam again, but I'm not satisfied. Yes, the "Big Daddy" defends the girl … but he is programmed only for the fight, like a sheepdog who wanders off unless a wolf is tearing at his flock. When no aggressor is present, he regards his Little Sister as he might a common houseplant. We need something more, something stronger: an unbreakable physiological bond.
The second audio diary is the Pair Bond Mechanism, which is transcribed as this: The Pair Bond is a success! If somehow an Alpha Series wanders too far from his Little Sister, our physical failsafe kicks in: a chemical trigger that induces coma. It is a symbiotic relationship, enforced by the girl's pheromone signature. The first successful candidate was... Delta, I believe. It is unfortunate that poor Dr. Suchong will not be here to raise a glass.
In this audio diary, one thing to note is that it is only mentioned that “It is unfortunate that poor Dr. Suchong will not be here to raise a glass” but it does NOT mention that Suchong is dead. There are many different things that could lead to him not being there, including wanting to work on his own protector program alone (which, he did).
There are statements made that Gil and Suchong cannot work simultaneously or that it is hard to believe that they would work together and then split. There are also statements made that in "Improving on Suchong's work" it is meant that Gilbert never actually started on the protector program UNTIL Suchong died. While this is fine to theorize, there is absolutely no evidence that this is/is not the case, that Gil did not start working on the protectors until after Suchong died. The only solid proof we have is what we see in the audio diaries, which do not have any dates or further explanation that what is in them.
Gilbert Alexander was more than likely trying to do things cheaper (which Ryan liked) and easier, while there was corner cutting and many other problems with his style of big daddy and the Pair Bond. Suchong saw this and knew he could do something better, but more expensive, using the big daddies already made for Rapture. Ryan even liked the idea of the big daddy suits being repurposed and reused, to save money, which is something Gilbert’s program had and Suchong’s didn’t. This is shown in the audio diary “Cheap son of a bitch”: Fontaine scary son of a bitch, but Ryan cheap son of a bitch. You can no reuse protector suit. Take a man, graft skin and organs straight into suit, otherwise suit not work. Ryan say Big Daddy too expensive. Ryan can go suck egg.
So I believe that the audio Diary “Pair Bond Mechanism” was recorded, canonically with the new information from Burial at Sea, before “Improving on Suchong’s work”. It may not be the cleanest thing to line up, but it is extremely important to note that it does line up CLEANER than trying to say it just simply doesn’t line up at all, when all 3 games are canon.
ANOTHER note is that there was a broadcast made called “Rapture Radio” which was an OFFICIAL 2K games sponsored broadcast that played music from the time period while also having the sounds of the “1959” new years eve party playing in the background. You can find all of this on the Bioshock Wiki if you type in “Rapture Radio Bioshock Wiki” into google (this sub doesn’t like links). While the canon of this recording is shaky (but it is 100% official and in-house from 2K so I’m going to assume it is canon), throughout the recording the broadcaster who is watching the New Years Eve celebration will point out some of Rapture’s prominent celeberties who he sees attending the event. During this, he points out the doctors that he sees. Of these doctors, Suchong IS spotted in Bioshock 2’s New Years eve Celebration, meaning he HAS NOT died yet.
Here is exactly what I believe the actual canonical events are for Big daddy program, suchong’s death, etc:
- Fontaine vs. Ryan war begins in 1958
- “Protecting little ones is recorded” as bodies are piling up
- Suchong and Gil work together for a short amount of time on the protector program
- *Something* happens that causes Suchong to split from Gil’s work and they no longer work together.
- Ryan is happy with Gil’s work and wants Suchong to find a way to repurpose Big Daddy suits.
- Suchong records “Cheap son of a bitch”
- The Pair Bond mechanism is a success for Gil, and Delta is bonded to Eleanor.
- “Pair Bond Mechanism audio Diary” is recorded by Gil
- New Years Eve 1958 event with Delta. Only one bonded Alpha at this time
- Suchong is seen celebrating the new year
- Suchong’s own work is promising with the pheromones, but he’s getting frustrated and becoming careless because of his own failures and the success of Gil’s work so far
- Elizabeth influences one of the big daddies to imprint on two of the sisters.
- The big daddy kills Suchong.
- Gil is asked to pick up where Suchong left off, since the Pair Bond fails after a little sister either dies or an alpha big daddy dies (or they are separated).
- Gil records “Improving on Suchong’s work” still believing that there needs to be a physiological bond.
- More Alpha series are made and bonded (aprox 23 in total, not including Omega), while the other big daddies begin to very very slowly imprint on the sisters, perhaps with the use of Pheremones and other imprinting methods not described in either games
Is it a clean way of putting it all together? No, of course not, it could be cleaner, as with all franchises and lore. But it makes much more sense than just simply saying two canon events don’t fit together at all, despite there being no solid contrary evidence.

Hey fellow Xbox Insiders! Let's make our voices heard and take a stand against the recent Reddit API changes. Join me in a subreddit blackout on June 12-13th to protest and advocate for change. Apologies in advance to anyone inconvenienced.

I hope this post finds you all well. Today, I wanted to bring something important to your attention that affects not only our subreddit but Reddit as a whole. The recent changes made to the Reddit API have had a significant impact on the functionality and accessibility of various subreddits, including our own. It's time we take a stand and raise awareness about this issue.
I'm proposing a subreddit blackout on June 12-13th as a form of protest against these changes. During this time, we will temporarily disable the subreddit, redirecting visitors to a message explaining the purpose of the blackout and our concerns regarding the Reddit API changes. This blackout will serve as a collective expression of our frustration and as a means to encourage dialogue and action from Reddit admins.
Before moving forward, I want to apologize in advance to anyone who may be inconvenienced by this blackout. I understand that this may disrupt the flow of our community and the exchange of valuable information. However, it is essential that we bring attention to the issue and work towards a resolution that benefits everyone.

In 2018, the announcement of a "Rugrats" reboot was mostly met with excited reactions. There were even some skeptics back then who thought that reviving the show was unnecessary, but the vast majority were keen on the idea of the show coming back. In the interrim, after companies started rebooting everything (Compared to 2018, when companies were selective about what they brought back), people's opinions started tilting towards the negative side, feeling like the original show offered all it can and reviving it was "nostalgiabait".
In spite of the negative voices getting louder, the character designs and first look animation were initially praised for being a seamless transition to CG. That is, until those promotion shorts started popping up. People started becoming more anvilicious about the reboot, finding issue with the animation being "stiff" and "soulless", and criticising the character designs for being "uncanny". Things went from bad to worse, when The AV Club publicly announced that Betty was going to be a lesbian in the reboot, and worded it as if the producers made the change out of a place of shallow stereotyping. (All despite Kate Boutilier not mentioning her sexuality in any interview, and the show hardly bringing it up) That was the final nail in the coffin, and people went from mildly criticising it, to waging a war against it, tearing it apart for the character changes (Particularly Lou being a hippie, and Susie being a baby), art style, animation, color schemes, rehashing older episodes (Many believing these were actual scenes from the episodes themselves), and not having a purpose to exist than other being a nostalgia moneygrab.

The naysayers got so loud that they started trying to find anything about the reboot to rip on. (When Kimi was introduced at Angelica's preschool, and corrected Angelica for telling the babies to scram, people were outraged, accusing the reboot of "retconning" Paris despite being a different continuity) While the reboot is popular with it's target audience, and has been able to maintain a big level of success despite all of this, I can't fathom most of the hate towards the reboot at all. It's faithful to the original, has most of the same writers, fixes some of the original's flaws (Angelica having a character arch, and showing a more empathetic side to her compared to the original, Dil being less selfish, having a wider scope of the parents' backstories, making permanent changes to the status quo, answering questions that were left lingering in the original) and is different enough to carry it's identity, but preserves the vision the original brought to the table. I'm even more confused, since it belongs in the same company as DuckTales, and Blue's Clues and You, which were similar reboots, but were positively received with older audiences.
Some of the problem may be that people didn't realize that this was a remake (We didn't get too much information about it until 2021), and it was jarring for them to see the changes they made, but it does raise to question that if this came out in 2018, back when we had reboots like DuckTales, and Muppet Babies, which were lauded for being charming reimaginings, and companies weren't reviving every show under the sun and the media controversies that permeated this show didn't happen, if people would be singing a different tune?

Hello everyone, as you may have already heard, A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making many quality-of-life features (including some vital features for blind and disabled Redditors) not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
The Situation:
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader and numerous others. ('API Calls' are how apps get information from Reddit's main servers to present to you).
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface. The official reddit app is lacking in features necessary for the visually impaired to use reddit, so this change will effectively prevent a community of people from accessing reddit in the same ways they’re currently able to.
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.
What's the plan?
On June 12th, many subreddits will be going private (going 'dark') to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours, on June 14th. Others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love. (Going private means means that only approved users will be able to access the subreddit. Since most subs don't use 'approved user' functions, this means basically no one will be able to access those subreddits during that time.)
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
What can you do?
• Learn more about the effort at Save3rdPartyApps/
• Complain. Message the mods of /reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on /reddit, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.
• Spread the word. Rabble-rouse on related subreddits. Meme it up, make it spicy. Bitch about it to your cat. Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join the effort at /ModCoord - but please don't pester mods you don't know by simply spamming their modmail.
• Join the boycott! Stay off Reddit entirely from June 12th through the 14th- instead, take to your favorite non-Reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support!
• Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible.

I came to the US as a minor under a J-1. I overstayed but mother went back, lots of things happened, had kids, father decided he didn't feel like doing the whole family thing. Raised them on my own. Family was no longer living in my birth country so it would have been a hardship to take my children there with no support.
Now they're adults, one is active-duty. I went to a lawyer to ask if one of my sons could sponsor me to get citizenship. He wanted to see my legal entry information. I no longer have anything from back then, no passport so we're currently waiting for my mom's FOIA request for her information. I just found out about PIP here on Reddit and now I'm intrigued because my lawyer has never mentioned it. He says we need to look at the 2-year requirement waiver thing first to see if the waiver applies. Then apply for AOS depending on outcome. Will applying for PIP be easier and faster or should I just stick with the plan my lawyer has? And I do apologize if I have the order of documents and names of forms wrong. Learning as I go.

I try to stick to the information that is scientifically based, but the moment you start searching nutrition and diet, there’s a whole slew commercial and biased sources.
