I have an inquiry about a situation and most of my friends are in long term relationships and have been off the apps for years, so I don’t really have anyone to bounce this off of.
I’m back on the apps because I’m ready to date again after healing from a long term relationship breakup. I haven’t been on the app since 2020.
I matched with this woman (woman interested in women) earlier this week who has a lot of pictures but no bio or anything, which I didn’t notice at first because I thought she was really attractive and there’s not a lot of options in my area. You see a lot of the same people and she popped up as “just joined.”
We instantly matched and I decided to message her first and she responded instantly. I sent one response back and she sent me her number and told me to text her.
That’s not usually how it goes from my experience, so I googled the number to see if it was a bot and it seemed to check out and I sent her a text her.
We made plans to hangout a few days later and chatted casually off and on until the day came to hangout.
It had only been 2 days since we matched and I was telling a friend about going on a date that night. I went to show my friend a picture of her on Bumble and her account had been deleted. I thought that was kind of weird since we had just been texting the night before, but it happens and I figured it was a swing and a miss.
So I get home from work and start doing other things but then I was like well we did have plans. I should at least text her and just see if we were still on. I figured she was just not gonna respond and kind of forgot about it, but about an hour later she responded but didn’t say anything about our plans so I said something again and she said we should raincheck because the weather was bad and that was valid so I agreed and then that was it. We didn’t make any plans to raincheck and that’s just the way it goes sometimes.
But about an hour later she texts again and says a version of “how are you? What’s up?” and then I was confused. It just didn’t fit the context and I started to wonder if I had been chatting with a bot this whole time lol.
I’ve used apps before but not regularly and this has never happened to me. Just wondering if anybody has any relatable experiences and might be able to tell me what’s going on.

So, I [M32] need to type this and get it out of me - I've talked to friends about it, wrote it into my journal, but I am still devastated. I've used a throwaway account because it feels like taking another perspective.
To begin with, I know there is worse in life, people have it worse, and I might even be the norm, not the exception. But still, I would like to tell my story.
I've struggled with my looks since I broke my nose 15 years ago, and never really felt overly confident. My family traits are humility and going with the flow, something I never felt, so I tried to find my own way in life. My friends were always quite ambitious and successful, weakness or doubt was seldomly seen in them. So I had fun with them, but was never really able to get a deeper connection, which I desperately needed.
This led to looking for validation and said connection in women, and I became a serial dater after my second long-term relationship, which ended around my mid-20s. The years went by, I met a lot of women, but instinctly avoided getting into something serious because I still hadn't found enough self confidence. And without the confidence I was afraid to no be enough, once I commited to someone.
During 2020 I quit Online Dating because I realised that I was not getting anywhere. I focused on my life, and slowly started to feel more happiness. A happiness of not having to go on dates anymore, a happiness which brought me to get my nose corrected, a happiness which boosted my work performance. I slowly seemed to grow my confidence.
Last October I fell for Bumble once again, and met the women [F30] of my life. I say this based on the fact that being with her felt so different to anything and anyone I had met before. We were hitting it off, everything just flowed, there were crazy similarities, and things some people (including her) would call destined. She was as eager as me to spend great time together, we cooked, went on a vacation, had long, adventurous walks, kind of the white picket fence life of meeting someone.
Then, quite suddenly, her ex relationship got back to her. I realised that she was not fully over it, even though her ex was in love with someone else already, and left her for good. We started talking about it about once a month, and I mentioned that we should end it, if it is too much for her. She told me that she can't really say, but would like to keep seeing me. Then she intensified her efforts, and I, being confused and having hopes, went along.
Times got better to the point where I got to meet her family, who loved me from the first moment (at least that's what her mother told me), and she was starting to regulary join me with my friends. Finally, a few weeks ago she confessed her feelings for me, something she had not done this clearly before. She wanted to take me to another family event, and talked about things to do together in the future.
Last week she called and told me her colleague had met her ex by chance. She talked with her colleague about it afterwards, and was furious because she felt the colleague had no point in telling her ex about her struggles. She then proceeded to tell me she is not ready for something new, but, a few minutes later, asked me to come over and spent the night. I, confused again, went to her place and spent the night. She was very happy about it, we slept together, it was weirdly OK. The next day she texted me throughout the day, as usual, even suggesting seeing each other in two days.
Then, from the next day onwards, her efforts died down significantly. I called her on the day we were supposed to get together, but she was cold, distant, it felt like talking to a stranger. The following days communication went out completely, I called and texted her once, and she was answering, but really only the most necessary things to not seem rude or be ghosting me.
I can feel that there is something wrong, and I know I probably won't be able to fix it. I feel hurt, angry and cut out of her life in a matter of days, without even a proper goodbye. I cherish the memories we have made together, but I am also having a hard time understanding how they can not mean anything to her anymore so suddenly.
Then again, I kind of do. What I feel after half a year, must feel magnitudes worse for her with regards to her previous six year relationship. So I really can't blame her, to be honest.
We will probably see each other on Sunday, and I will end it in grace. Even though I am devastated that she might have been the one, and our paths crossed at the wrong time. Also, there is a creeping feeling that, had I been better, more ambitious, I would have been able to safe it. This is so hard to let go of.

I was in the market for a midi clocking system to sync my synth setup and came across the ER-M Multiclock. Most places are selling these for 500-600 in US dollars. I came across this
www.modularsynth-shop.com site scrolling through Google. This site is using Rossum Electro Music (great modular gear)for their header and they are selling these multiclocks for ridiculously cheap, under 100 bucks, along with all sorts of other gear at really cheap prices. Also there are pop ups of people around the world buying whatever it seems you click on, which just seems suspect. Can anyone confirm this shop is legitimate or not?

| I recently removed the neutral switch on my '00 R6, the wire connected to it had a terminal crimped to it which is placed on the switch with a little screw. The replacement switch I sourced via a dealer requires a push on kind of connector. ( The type of connector als found on the same engine with the temp sensor on the block. At first I could not notice the music that was playing, I am that guy who downloads his music from youtube onto my SD card so I knew all of my music. It was extra deep, distorted and extra slow yet the quality was crisp. Like it was produced in a studio. It was "Bittersweet Symphony" by the Verve, yet extreme slow and you could not hear out the singer, just a deep demonic voice growling. It lasted until I switched the song, and by god, I was terrified.
Most likely my phone was glitching yet the music was playing in such a high quality extra demonic slowness it keeps me wondering how it was able to do.. this thing. You can listen to 1000% slowed and pitched down music on youtube to get the grasp of what I was hearing.
