The last few months me and my buddy have been working on a older pathfinder replacing parts here and there while it slowly died out thinking they would help. We’ll now it’s a crank and backfire no start and have checked spark compression and fuel everything is good so we’re going to replace the timing considering the car has 200+ thousand miles and that is most likely the issue. While we are down there what else should we replace, sofar we’ve come up with just a timing belt and water pump kit from rock auto and a coolant flush

I am pumping up my interest in Serie a by playing serieafantasy.com this year. It's a really good fantasy app btw, love the points system where a defensive mid can easily get 8 pts with no goals or assists.
I just wonder if anyone plays and if they have experience with how double game weeks and blanks work in Serie a? Do they exist?
Thank you and forza azzurri 🤌

THE GANG KILLS HITLER
FADE IN:
INT. PADDY'S PUB - DAY
The gang is gathered at the bar, drinking and arguing.
DENNIS: (to Mac) You know, you're always talking about how tough you are, but I bet I could take you in a fight.
MAC: (laughing) Yeah, right. You couldn't take me down if you tried.
CHARLIE: (looking concerned) Hey guys, have you seen that weird new guy hanging around outside?
DEE: (rolling her eyes) Oh God, what now?
CHARLIE: (excitedly) He's got this big beard and he keeps muttering to himself. I think he might be a genius.
DENNIS: (skeptically) Charlie, you think everyone's a genius.
MAC: (smirking) Yeah, remember when you thought Frank was a genius?
FRANK: (offended) Hey!
DEE: (looking outside) Oh my God, he's coming in.
The gang turns to see the bearded man entering the bar. He approaches the group with a wild look in his eyes.
BEARDED MAN: (excitedly) Hello there! I am Professor Karamazov, and I have made a great discovery!
DENNIS: (sarcastically) Oh boy, this should be good.
PROFESSOR KARAMAZOV: (ignoring Dennis) I have discovered a way to travel through time!
The gang stares at him, unimpressed.
MAC: (laughing) Yeah, right. And I'm the queen of England.
PROFESSOR KARAMAZOV: (smiling) Ah, but it is true! I have built a time machine!
CHARLIE: (in awe) Whoa, that's incredible.
FRANK: (interested) So, what are you gonna do with it?
PROFESSOR KARAMAZOV: (excitedly) I am going to travel back in time and solve one of history's greatest mysteries!
DEE: (rolling her eyes) And what mystery is that?
PROFESSOR KARAMAZOV: (dramatically) The mystery of who stole the Declaration of Independence!
The gang stares at him in disbelief.
DENNIS: (skeptically) That's not even a mystery. Nicholas Cage already solved it.
MAC: (laughing) Yeah, we saw it in National Treasure.
PROFESSOR KARAMAZOV: (defeated) Oh. Well, I suppose I could travel back in time and kill Hitler instead.
The gang looks at each other, unsure of what to make of this strange man.
FRANK: (shrugging) Eh, why not? Let's do it.
The gang cheers as the Professor leads them outside to his time machine.
FADE OUT.

2023.03.20 17:14 tangosmango Finally finished! Full custom loop PC on the 1000D. Took about 3 months of learning, patience...and ~$13,000
| Build was very fun but also very time consuming and frustrating at times. It was the first time I did a watercool build so there was a tremendous amount of learning. 4090 FE was incredibly elusive. Biggest challenges: I had to reroute the fan wiring multiple multiple times due to errors, mislabeling, trying to hide the wires. Kept having to buy extension cables, more fittings, etc. I did the entire build bending but then saw pictures of fittings and thought that looked much better. Redid everything with fittings. Also had to drill two holes to route the tubings to the back. Cut one hole too close to edge but it ended up being fine. Unknowingly, I ran the pumps dry. Was given the advice to buy new pumps as the other ones may have been damaged. Complete build was about 60ish lbs without the glass doors so I had to use a dolly to transfer. Also had to add more legs to custom table in order to have good support. Better safe than sorry! Bought the 7950x3d but I REALLY don't want to drain the fluid to add the CPU so I'll hold off on that. Very satisfied with the overclock and temps of this build. I was able to push stable speeds of 3850 on the 4090. Temps got to a max of 60C. Thanks to the 1000D Discord esp Perry and Newfiend. 2023.03.20 17:12 CH1CK3NW1N95 [M4A] Misadventures in Duskwall
"The criminal is the creative artist; the detective only the critic." -G.K. Chesterton
+++
The moon setting in the west marked the end of another day for the folk in the city of Duskwall, and Monty was glad to be out on one of his evening walks.
He had all he needed for such an activity; the discreetly-armored clothes on his back, the trusty knife and pistol on his belt, and the wits in his head. His walk took him from the industrial district of Coalridge where machines belched smoke and noise and workers labored to keep the Imperium's production needs met, to the many-hued vice dens of Silkshore where any imaginable vice or illicit product could be found if one knew how to look and who to ask. From the views of the Spark Wall that kept out the legions of ghosts from the Deathlands, to the park that was lit with trees than glowed with light both eerie and comforting. He saw many people on his wanderings that night; a Bluecoat patrol he had narrowly escaped, a thief he knew well and claimed several favors from, a crew of Railjacks that had helped him with smuggling operations on the trains in days not long past, and many others, for he was a well-connected man with a finger in many pies and an ear to many grounds.
As he wandered, he thought, for he found it claiming and focusing to walk through the city, following no path and pursuing no errand. The Crows had collapsed, following one daring heist too many, and had cast the Crow's Foot, the city's most crime-ridden district, into war as the scavengers convened to pick up the pieces and fill the power vacuum. The Crows had been the uncrowned kings and queens of the city's underworld, which meant in the end that they fell with the force of a dying leviathan, tearing asunder the web of grudges and favors they had woven and throwing the city's underworld into chaos.
Monty knew he had a responsibility to his own crew, and he intended to make something of them out of all this. They had been getting by, starting from the bottom, subsisting on the crumbs and scraps that fell their way when the big players were done with the feast of the day. But with the old powers fallen, the field had been leveled and untold hordes of wealth and power were up for grabs. Monty planned to see that his crew prospered, for they were his friends, his comrades, his dear confidants for whom he would match through fire and lay down life and limb.
As the night grew from young to full, Monty had gotten his thoughts in order, and walked back to his crew's lair. It wasn't much, but it serves them well enough, and if Monty had his way, it would be expanded before the year was out. He stopped to get some chicken and greens, wanting to treat the crew with something more than simple eel pie and rice portage. When he got to the crew's lair, he gladly took up his role as the cook, and began making dinner, chatting all the while and enjoying the company of friends.
When dinner was served, goat cheesecake was in the oven, and beer was being poured, Monty looked at all the crew with his trademark grin; the one that said he had a plan and something very worth noting was about to happen.
"Boys and girls, Crow's Foot's gone to shit and back, things are starting to heat up all across the city, and if you're all with me, we're gonna use all that to take our place as top dogs and be living like kings by this time next year."
He leaned back in his seat, and raised a glass of Skovland beer that tasted like mulling spices and the far-off promise of victory."
"But first, a toast, to the beginning of something big."

Hi there! Thanks for reading :D
I find myself driven, as of late, to indulge my love for the Blades in the Dark TTRPG and for written roleplay, so why not do both at the same time? Two good things at the same time are usually guaranteed to be even more gooder, except well-mixed drinks and life-saving surgery, but my point stands in general.
I'd like to do a story of a small, low-down criminal gang rising in the ranks of the underworld in the Victorian, gothic-steampunk/dieselpunk, occultish city of Duskwall. The setting is rich and there's a lot of detail to go into, so it's impossible to give a truly comprehensive pitch while keeping it simple, but if I had to summarize this setting in three sentences, it would be as follows:
"The sun vanished from the sky a thousand years ago, alongside the Gates of Death shattering and allowing ghosts and occult magic into the world. The city is a mashup of London, Paris, and Venice, in roughly Victorian times with a hefty helping of steampunk/dieselpunk/electropunk technology al-la Dishonored meets The Order 1886. The city is home to a lot of criminals, with a thriving, complex underworld that has recently been thrown into chaos due to the toppling of its most powerful gang, and in which our characters will take part."
If that setting intrigues you, then I'd be happy to explain more! Also, no knowledge of the setting is needed, I plan to play a character in the gang who is knowledgeable about the setting and its people so I can be a guide both in the story and out. My basic plan is that we'd each plan a few characters in the gang, as well as create the gang itself together.
If anyone is curious, I'm male, 24 years of age, and from the EST time zone. I've been roleplaying for about half my life and playing Shadowrun for 6 or 7 years, so while I'm not a grandmaster of either, I think I know enough about both to create an awesome story with someone who wants to work with me. I'd be happy to send a writing sample to anyone who wants to verify that for themselves. I can usually crack off at least a few posts a week; I try to go for one or more a day as much as I can, with moderate success since my job is taxing and I sometimes don't have the energy to write much. But I'll always do my best to keep up, since this is one of my favorite hobbies and I love this setting a hell of a lot. I can generally put two or three good-sized paragraphs in my post, sometimes more depending on what's going on. I'd also like my partner to be interested in planning out the story from the start, since this is your story too if you decide to play it out with me.
I'd ideally like somebody who can match my average of 2 or 3 paragraphs, who is 20 or over, who writes in 3rd person, and who communicates openly; otherwise, I'm open to writing with anybody I vibe with, :). Come one come all; if you're interested in this prompt (and please include the word "Machiavellian" in your message to let me know you read it all), then I'm interested in talking more with you about it. I can't address every detail or question someone might have in this post, so if you have any questions or comments, PM me here and I'll be glad to answer them.
I hope to hear from you soon! :D

2023.03.20 17:10 MaleficentProgress76 My theros map (take 2)
| I wanted to share my map for theros. Had difficulity in uploading the image in the first post. I always felt like the described polis (meletis, akros, setessa & skophos) are too few. So i added a few more: 1. Olantin - risen from the depth of the siren sea after a collboration of Thessa and Ephara, the polis of olantin once more stands proud. The polis population is a both tritons and humans (who came mainly from neolantin and setessa). The city is goverened by the duaercy: two sovergins. A human and a triton. The two races manage to coexist and created a succesful city state, specializing in fishing and advanced ship-crafting. Lately, neo-lantin secedded from Meletis and joined the olantin "state". 2. Asphodel - cleansed from returned by a joint effort of settesa & meletis, the polis was repopulated by people from those polise. However, after a few decades the colony became independent. The city is a direct democracy and specializes in providing medicine and potions, from unique ingridients gathered from the hetos mire. 3. Paros - long ago, when theros was ruled by the archons, this was their easternmost outpost. After the collapse of the archonmy, the archon Alectron fled to this city. From there, the immortal ruler continued the legacy of old, ever aspiring to bring back all of theros to his control. Paros is the gateway to other strange and unknown lands and such, favored by many marchents. 4. Troliton - the triton city under the sea is a sight most mortals wont see. It still there though. Governed by the mother-queen of tritons, the polis often change its relations with other polis from open trade to open hostillity. 5. Delphys - once known as "deyda harbor" the city was a holding of akros, until the slaves of the town succesfully rebelled. The city is ruled by a monarch and shares many cultural similarities with akros. Famed for the great temple of keranos and the oracles who dwell their. 6. Heliopolis - a theocratic town formed by heliod followeres. Part of the 'pact melteisia'. 7. Rhode - an asphodel colony in the mouth of the speche river. 8. Laudica - a small and remote settelment. Not so sure what happens there. submitted by MaleficentProgress76 to TherosDMs [link] [comments] |

2023.03.20 17:09 AdGroundbreaking7104 Lore Deep Dive/Connections
Long post, but it’s for anyone who is into any of the lore and connections like I am:
I went down a rabbit hole by reading into Karliah’s history while doing the thieves guild quest again.
I am curious about connections/lineage.
I found out that Karliah is the granddaughter of Barenziah and has a questionable grandfather. Either Drayven Indoril or Jagar Tharn.
“Karliah was trained in the art of thievery by her mother, Dralsi Indoril, and is the granddaughter of Queen Barenziah.”
“Jagar Tharn (Imperial Battlemage to Emperor Uriel Septim VII) managed to obtain it by manipulating the Dunmer queen Barenziah, either by disguising himself as a bard known as "Nightingale" or by employing Drayven Indoril to fill the role.”
Its really interesting playing Elder Scrolls Online and finding a lot of familiar names of powerful families. Especially when ESO takes place in the Second Era when a lot of these families were powerful.
You do a lot of work with Tanval Indoril if you are a part of the Ebonheart Pact in ESO.
You also work a lot of missions with Abner Tharn that are main story altering.
Both of these people are powerful or part of powerful groups in the Second Era (896 years long).
Karliah’s grandparents (either a Tharn or an Indoril) are all from the Third Era (433 years long).
Karliah herself is active in the Fourth Era.
There’s no info on Karliah’s actual father but she would be a part of the Indoril family of her grandfather is her real grandfather! She’s a member of a formally strong house if so! Not to mention that she’s the granddaughter of Queen Barenziah!
But now I’m curious about Karliah’s age.
Anyway, cool character connections are cool and i spiraled a little bit.

2023.03.20 17:09 MummraTheEverLiving Advice on which heat pump system to go with GE AUH2436ZGDA or Fujitsu AOUG36LMAS1
Hi Everyone,
Like the title says I am trying to decide between these 2 units. I got a few price quotes and they are both around the same for either unit. Anybody install either of these and have any advice? I live in Massachusetts so in the winter the temperatures can occasionally get pretty low. I haven't been able to find much information on the GE model so any info is helpful.
Thanks.
