Just got accepted to DLSU for BS Business Management
It was literally the night after our prom and I was at a friend's sleepover when he woke me up at 3 am, telling me that the DLSU admission results were out. I was drunk when i fell asleep but I was as sober as a nun; rushing to his pc to check my results.
Thank the gods, I received that letter of acceptance; albeit for my second choice program, BS - Business Management (MGT). Ideally, my first choice was Applied Corporate Management so this is why I am writing this post; to humbly ask for your experience and insight
My current dream is to work for an FMCG, more than starting my own business. I would like to ask if BS-MGT graduates are competitive in the market for top FMCGs like P&G, Johnsons and Johnsons, Unliver etc. Particularly, Management Trainee jobs as a fresh grad.
I really do see myself working in a corporate setting and so, I would like to know whether this course is good for that and whether its competitive. Or whether I should look elsewhere. Thank You!

In a surprise move, Walmart (NYSE: WMT) has announced that it has acquired the United States Postal Service (USPS). The deal, which is valued at $80 billion, is the largest acquisition in Walmart's history.
“The deal utterly changes the reach of Walmart+’s same day delivery market making most every address in the United States eligible for at will delivery of Walmart’s products and services,” noted one analyst. “Make an order at 10pm, it is delivered by your postal worker the following morning. Not since Amazon Fresh was attempted and later failed due to their limited distribution centers has such a fundamental chance to the landscape of retail delivery taken place.”
Others were not so pleased by the news – a Black Rock investment analyst noted that this puts in doubt the Amazon delivery contract which could dramatically cripple Walmart’s strongest competitor. “Hopefully regulators will step forward and prevent Walmart from cancelling this contract, but at this time, we’re recommending sell to our customers as we don’t see any method which would preserve Amazon’s existing deal, they’d be just like every other shipper using the new service.”
The acquisition is also seen as a way for Walmart to improve its reputation with customers. The USPS has been criticized in recent years for its slow delivery times and soaring prices. By acquiring USPS, Walmart will be able to improve the quality of service and make it more affordable for customers to ship packages stated a company press release given to reporters.
The acquisition is likely to face scrutiny from regulators, who will be concerned about Walmart's growing power in the retail market. However, Walmart has said that it is committed to working with regulators to ensure that the deal is approved.
The unexpected move has caught the four major unions of USPS surprised, union president Brian Renfroe who is currently negotiating for a new contract for the National Association of Letter Carriers gave a terse 'no comment' to reporters outside of L'Enfant Plaza when news broke, and negotiations immediately broke down. Later, he was reported to have said that he was going to fly to Bentonville, AK to begin negotiations anew with the new owners.
A national business agent who requested their name not be used stated that the NALC is looking forward to being the first union to have a real contract with Walmart and is angling to represent all unionized employees within the new combined company. "I'm just glad it was us at the negotiating table when this news broke, can you imagine if it had been the rural union?"
If the deal is approved, it is likely to have a significant impact on the retail industry. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen's office referred reporters to USPS for any further comment but noted that the deal would completely pay off USPS' existing treasury debt and the Treasury Department would not give their nod to the deal without Walmart fully accepting retirement benefits responsibility for 172,000 active retirees from USPS.
Walmart will become the largest retailer in the United States, and it will be able to use its size and power to negotiate better prices with suppliers. This could lead to lower prices for consumers. No word yet if Walmart plans to rename the United States Postal Service, but analysts predict that it could be named Walmart+ Delivery to capitalize on Walmart's existing assets.
The acquisition is also likely to lead to job losses at the USPS. Walmart has said that it plans to reduce the number of USPS employees by 20%. This could lead to layoffs for thousands of workers. Taking a page from Walmart's existing policies, most of those layoffs will be in management and middle management with stations being run by employee leaders, leading to large savings.
Shares of UPS (NYSE:UPS), FedEx (NYSE:FDX), and others within the shipping industry are sharply down with financial markets worried that Walmart's cash infusion could finally solve many issues, including equipment and facilities in disrepair.

The Vikings - 1958

The Vikings is a 1958 epic semi historical/romance movie directed by Richard Fleischer (the son of the great american animatoinnovator and early cartoon producer Max Fleischer, responsible for the creations of Popeye the Sailor man, Betty Boop and many more), who after having spent years in the B movie industry, was now riding high on the success of his Walt Disney produced 1954 adaption of the classic Jules Verne novel "20,000 leagues under the sea" (also starring Kirk Douglas) when he decided to take on the helms of this larger scale and more adult oriendted epic full of love, lust and bloodshed all set in the Viking Age of England and Scandinavia.
With the starring role of this picture going to the mammoth of acting that was Kirk Douglas (although before the more well known "Spartacus" from 1961, this is after he had played the part of Perseus in the 1956 "Ulysseus" movie, so he was already on top), fresh off his hot streak with his new sidekick of a director from "20,000" (Douglas personally hired Fleishcer for this, being that it was his own production company behind the financing). He is non-casually joined by the all time (and/or old time) Hollywood couple Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh (progenitors of the now Scream Queen of old, not to mention still world class beauty, Jamie-Lee Curtis) making this their fifth out of eleven movies together, as well as a big old bowl of Ernest Borgnine dumped on top, having already solidified himself on the big screen as both a well known character actor and a main star. Now, when a movie can boast about having such a combination of high quality talent as this, you know it's bound to be great (although, there are exceptions).
The prologue title sequence of this movie alone is worth note, giving us the audience the pleasure of hearing the stern but soothing (if that makes any sense) voice of the great Orson Welles as he explains to us the whos, whats, whens, and why's of the viking expansions and invasions into the British Isles, as well as the political landscape of England itself at this time in history. This is done as we're shown a bunch of spectacuclar tapestry/parchment paper drawings of Vikings battling against Englishmen, complete with a more than perfectly passionate orchestral theme that invokes the thought of the King Arthur tales of yore, all coming together to add a real sense of authenticity to this epic that we've yet to even see begin...which it does with a bang.
Or the swipe of a sword to be more exact, as the viking leader Ragnar (Borgnine) and his band of warriors fall down upon the camp of the English King Edwin of Northumbria. The two leaders enter into a private duel in the King's tent, with Ragnar slaying his foe and further forcing himself down upon the deadman's wife, Queen Enid, ultimately and unknowingly impregnanting her before disappearing back into the Northlands. Knowing that the child is that of Ragnar's, but will still be seen as a threat to the new King Aella (Frank Thring), Enid gives birth to the child whom she names Eric, in secret and finally sends him away to Italy with her most confident of priests, placing the hilt stone of the King's rightful sword on a rope around his next to later one day be indentified as true heir to the throne of Northumbria.
Years later at the court of King Aella, we come to meet princess Morgana of Wales (Janet Leigh), as her Father pledges her to Aella as a token of alliance between their two kingdoms. King Echbert of Wessex (James Donald) is then brought up on charges of aiding the Vikings in their raids on England's kingdom's in order to protect his own lands, and is thrown into the dungeons to die. We learn that the charges are true when Echbert escapes from Northumbria and finds refuge with the Viking leader Ragnar aboard his longship. The vikings travel back to Scandinavia with Echbert and his promises to continue providing them with coastline and river maps for further raid and plunder.
The incredbily wide shot scenes of the long ships coming into port in the fords of Norway are truly spectacular (clearly being filmed on location), elevated by the realistic built sets that make up the Viking and village (not to mention the ships themselves), as well as the dozens of costumes and hairstyles worn by the extras that are showcased throughout (and a really awesome Viking horn blower welcoming the warriors back home each time, echoing the fantastic sounding orchestral theme of the movie yet again). Also, we now get some of that real over the top barbarian type behaviour being portrayed by Ainar (Douglas), son of Rangar, as we, the mostly uneducated in history average film-goer, would expect out of any and all vikings on screen (it is pretty awesome though); complete with beer guzzling, barell smashing, deranged angry tones, and wishes for barrels of blood to guzzle down instead of that of beer.
Ainar hates all Englishmen, but agrees to his Father and Chieftain's demands to keep after Echbert and see that he wants for nothing. One day while breaking in their hunting hawks, Ainar starts up a confrontation with a slave named Eric (Tony Curtis), the unknowing son of Ragnar, subsequent half brother of Ainar, and true King of Northumbria, who had been abducted from his ship en route to Italy all those years ago. Eric then sicks his own hawk that he's recently found onto his oppressor, leaving Ainar with only one good eye, and himself now with a guaranteed death sentence.
At the feasting hall however, a volva woman steps in against Ragnar's judgement of death, claiming that the gods do not wish for Eric to die by any man's hand, to which Ragnar outsmarts and has Eric taken instead to a rock pool off the coast at high tide to await an eventual death from drowning. Echbert though finds the stone from around Eric's neck and, realizing who he is, goes down to the rock pool to save him and claim him as his own slave in order to keep him safe from Ainar. We also get some more awesome over the top barbarian type behavior, now complete with ass smacking, random kissing orgys, more beer guzzling and axes being thrown at a viking's wife's hair braids to judge wether she's been faithful or not (this movie's about as toxic male chauvinist as it gets, but still... really awesome).
Echbert eventually finishes his maps for the Vikings, as well giving them the idea to abduct and ransom Princess Morgana before her marriage to Aella, with Ainar carrying out the task and giving us a pretty decent battle at sea in the process. Ainar though, now falls madly in love with Morgana and wishes to claim her as his own. When back at the hall once again, we get even more over the top barbarian behavior, beer guzzling, rape jokes, etc, etc, (what do you want from them?, they're Vikings), all this before Ragnar finally concedes to his son's wants and needs, allowing him to claim Morgana as his own. But when Ainar tries to force himself upon her, Eric appears from behind and knocks him out, bringing Morgana to escape with him on a boat to England.
A really-rad boat chase scene ensues through the fog filled fjords, culminating in the collision of both Ragnar and Ainar's boats into one another, sending half of the Vikings to their deaths. All but Ragnar that is, who's saved and pulled onto Eric's boat, heading straight for the King of Northumbria. Ainar swears revenge against Eric, while the two escapees fall madly in love en-route to England.
At the court of King Aella, Eric hands over Ragnar then asks that Morgana be relieved of her pledge of marriage, to which she agrees with. The King demands that she take more time to reflect with her priest, then forces Eric to try to take part in the execution of Ragnar by pushing him into a rabid wolf pit. Eric refuses by cutting Ragnar's bonds and giving him a sword, so that he may die a warrior's death and be aloud to enter Valhalla, giving us an extremely climactic ending of Ernest Borgnine's character in this tale as he raises his arms and voice to summon Odin the All-Father, before jumping to his death in the wolf pit, sword in hand and smile on his face (man Vikings were badass!).
Eric has his hand chopped off as punishment and is set adrift into the sea, but not before the priest -and Morgana find the King's "Pummel-stone" amongst Eric's belongings, coming to the realization that he is the true heir of Northumbria. Morgana then runs in the room just in time to see Eric's amputation, letting out a horrific scream at the sight of it (she wasn't called America's first "Scream Queen" for nothing folks. So this is where Jamie-Lee gets it from eh).
Back in Scandinavia, Ainar is now King of the Vikings, but can't seem to raise an army to retrieve Morgana, until Eric comes back and tells them of Ragnar's death. The two (still unknowing) half brothers now team up to defeat the tyrant King Aella, to both gain revenge for Ragnar and to rescue Morgana, leading the "Great Heathen Army" across the sea to England (in the year of our lord 865 for those of you history buffs).
Between the ships leaving of Scandinavia, and the army's landing and setting up of their assault on Northumbria, you really come to ask yourself as to why film-goers are NEVER treated to such a large scale production as this anymore (well, at least not since The Lord of The Rings as I recall). The amount of extras, costume pieces and props required for this must have been incredible, but all completely necessary in the creation of a full on believable historic setting such as this.
So the Vikings land and lay siege unto Aella's stronghold, battering rams, catapults, axes, spears, swords, the works (not to mention Kirk Douglas scaling the Castle's front door using only axes for leverage. Again, you just don't see stuff like this anymore). Ainar cuts his way through to Morgana's room, but upon realizing that she loves Eric, and that Eric is also a son of Ragnar, he takes her to confront his half brother and fight for their prize.
Eric meets Ainar at the top of the castle and the two enter into an extremely well coordinated battle of the blades, until Ainar breaks Eric's sword that is. But Eric seizes a moment of hesitation that befalls Ainar, and stabs his half brother in the gut with the broken down blade of his sword. Ainar then drops his sword, but Eric picks it up and gives it back to him, again allowing for a true Viking death. He uses the last of his strength in a final roar to summon up Odin, then Ainar is no more. Eric and Morgana embrace each other with love bringing us to the end of this movie, but not before treating the audience to an authentic Viking cremation funeral for Ainar, in which he is cast off to see in a ship and flaming arrows sent flying to the mass. We watch the ship and Ainar's body burn as the credits to "The Vikings" comes up once more, leading us into the ending credits with more authentic looking parchment scroll drawings of the Vikings battling against Englishmen, and finally coming together as one (accompanied again by the awe inspiring orchestral themes of yore every step of the way).
To sum it all up, "The Vikings" (1958) is literally THE - BEST Viking movie that's ever been made. Full of high quality A-list stars (to which I'd say is one of both Kirk's and Tony's coolest characters ever portrayed on screen), and a great group of secondary character actors like James Donald, Frank Thring, Eileen Way and many more. The story is well put together by screenwriters Calder Willingham and Dale Wiserman (based on a novel by Edison Marshall), with the underlying theme being the coming together of two peoples, as well as giving us a pretty cool backstory for a very real and historic time in Northwestern Europe. The wide scale shots and surrounding sceneries caught by DP Jack Cardiff are truly amazing, joined by epic scale (and pretty damn authentic) sets-props-hairstyles and makeups, very well coordinated swordfights and stunts, and lets not forget the awe inspiring orchestral theme of yore laid down by composer Mario Nascimbene and conductor Franco Ferrara. All this is brought together perfectly by director Max Fleischer in what was defenitely the largest scale movie of his career. I would recommend this movie not only to fans of retro cinema, but to anyone who loves epic scale warrior movies, as well as to general ancient world history buffs.

is it possible to get a starting salary higher than 30k for a fresh grad? di masyado niche yung program ko; it's management but focused on digital marketing. I heard some fresh grads get up to 40+k plus starting salary pero mostly they're from data or comp sci related courses. I've had 2 internships naman during college and 2-3 leadership positions in orgs din. what kind of companies and roles should I apply for kaya?
ohh also, I've been working as an independent contractor for more than a year now and I've been earning up to 22k per month. I'm not sure lang if that gives me bargaining power coz it's mostly content writing and I'm trying to go for management positions.

How nice it would be if the end of my statement was here, if the creative side was the only one we had to consider in our development. But reality, as so often, is more complex. Game development is a craft with many facets, and that includes marketing and distribution.
Writing the poetry is the first step, but sharing that poetry with the world is another. Just as indie creators use their creative skills to create memorable game experiences, it’s equally important to focus on marketing and distribution to ensure the rewards of their work. It’s about getting the work of art, the game, into the hands of those who can appreciate and enjoy it.

Think different about indie game development

Game development may be a creative and passionate activity, but it’s important to treat it like a business. Yes, I mean it – treat game development like a business, even if you don’t want to do it commercially, but only as a hobby. As with the development of any other product or service, developing and distributing games requires strong business sense and strategic thinking to achieve the goal of having many people hold your game in their hands and enjoy it.
It’s a common misconception that marketing and distribution in the indie game market manages itself. The assumption that uploading your game to platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, Itch.io or similar big sites is enough to benefit from thousands of downloads is a delusion. While it may be true that traffic on Steam, Epic Games Store, and other platforms is gigantic, indie games are competing with AAA titles and other blockbusters to attract the most attention and movement on the platforms. Their money simply shapes the flow of user traffic.
Another misstep indie creators make is to focus only on the development of the game at first and only think about marketing and distribution afterwards. Understandable, because we intend to think it’s primarily all about the game itself and the whole creative process around it. This can prove to be more expensive and less effective than a well thought out strategy from the beginning.
No, no, no – as I mentioned at the beginning, you should treat game development like a business. Every startup company has clearly defined processes, such as ideation, analysis, planning, funding, development, and finally marketing and sales. Game development is no different. It’s not only the creative process you have strongly to consider.

Business considerations in the development, marketing and distribution of indie games.

You want your efforts and commitment to your game to be noticed, right? And if you’ve even decided to go for the commercial strategy, then you expect sales success, don’t you? So hear me out and consider three important areas:

You will benefit from market analysis

New startups and established companies develop their products and services to solve a specific problem or serve a need. Spotify, for example, has addressed the problem of music lovers wanting easy access to a huge selection of songs and artists without having to buy countless albums.
Netflix has solved the problem of viewers wanting a convenient way to watch movies and series without having to rely on linear television programming or physical media.
In the gaming industry, engines such as RPG Maker or Unity solve the problem of game developers looking for user-friendly and powerful tools to turn their creative ideas into games. These engines facilitate the development process and allow less experienced developers to realize complex projects.
Unlike the products and services mentioned above, games do not solve a specific problem, but serve to satisfy the demand for entertainment. Therefore, they may be subject to certain trends and demands. Big game studios and publishers are always scanning the market and keeping an eye on rising trends. When a game like The Witcher, with its open world and RPG elements, is well received, other developers jump on the bandwagon and create similar games (looking to you Assassin’s Creed). The same goes for pirate adventures with sea battles or genres like post-apocalypse and cyberpunk.
With this in mind, it is important for you to focus not only on the creative side of your projects, but also to pay attention to what trends and needs exist in the market in order to maximize the success of your games.
This may relate to the game world or a particular game mechanic. As a indie game creator, you can use the artistic freedom to combine these trends with your own fresh ideas to stand out from the current trends.

Plan your marketing budget early

The fine art of game development is in skillful use of the available budget. The end comes fast when the entire budget for game development is used up and there are no more funds available for marketing and distribution.
Marketing can be very expensive. Sooner or later you will realize that only a lot of money can increase your chances of visibility. Social media platforms charge a lot of money to keep your post visible for a long time. Without the financial boost, reachability is very poor – on purpose, of course, to make advertisers pay more. Influencers also charge for their efforts and successes. Even for a nano-influencer (1000 – 10,000 followers) the price is between $10 – $100 per post. Up to mega-influencers (1,000,000+ followers) the price becomes 6 figures.
When it comes to these costs, the question arises about what percentage of the budget should be reserved for this? This is difficult to answer in a definitive way. Presumably, the more funds allocated to marketing, the better.

Visibility is a crucial factor for the success of an indie game. As mentioned before, a lot of money can help, but if you strive for visibility very early on, you can reduce the investment.

Start with social media early. Even during the development phase of the game, it can be a great advantage to be present on social media platforms and introduce the project. There are several reasons for this:
First, you can build your follower-following relationship, or let’s call it networking, slowly. So there is no need to promote the interaction with money.
Second, it allows you to build a dedicated community early on that will remain loyal to the project and serve as a loyal player base when the game is released. These loyal fans can not only provide valuable feedback during the development phase, but also help spread the word about the game through word of mouth.
Third, by sharing content such as screenshots, developer logs, or backstories early on, you can capture players’ interest and create an emotional connection to the game. This creates a desire to play the finished game as soon as it is available.

Online stores:

So, away from the social channels, you should also make sure that you are present in many online stores.
Many think that being on the leading platform is enough. Remember when I said that you should treat game development like a business? So think like a businessman/businesswoman and place your game on multiple shelves of many stores. A few sales here, a few sales there – the bottom line is that the total of your sales is relevant. Of course, being in many stores and maintaining and updating your product is time-consuming, but no one said that the gaming industry is easy – unless you have a publisher and are willing to pay for it.
These are some of the online stores that you should give a go:
Steam: The largest and most well-known platform for PC games, offering both big AAA titles and indie games.
Itch.io: A platform focused on indie games and experimental projects, offering creators a high degree of flexibility in pricing.
Epic Games Store: A relatively new platform run by the creators of Fortnite that offers both big and small games, often with exclusive deals.
Humble Bundle: Known for its game bundles, Humble Bundle also offers a store where indie creators can sell their games.
Game Jolt: A community-based platform that helps indie game creators publish and market their games.
Aaaaaaaaand on a personal note:

So, at the end, you know. When my house was flooded with sewage and i was sickened with an infection from it, well, i tried to straighten my life out, i had money, that wasn’t the issue
It was time. I needed more time off and the manager at work was being a real fucking cunt about it. The manager-manager was out with covid, so i couldn’t go over her head, or i fucking would have. I had all these pto days that had to be used by the end of the year or i’d lose them and she wouldn’t let me use my time without a dr’s note
And, i needed to go to the doctor, like no fucking joke. But, i had to keep going back when it wasn’t wholly necessary to get the notes, just so i could try to save my stuff from getting ruined with sewage.
I was just so mad at her, i quit on a holiday without notice. That’s how mad i was. Like, i’d been really clear with mgmt that i wasn’t real happy, you know. With compensation. Over and over all the fucking time.
Heather’s on her own at work is as bad as any union ever was. You know, idk, i advocate for myself in terms of money, or hours i need to scheduled, all kinds of shit. You know, i negotiate that shit.
If they’ll have it and if they want … well, have fun getting along without me and if you’ve been a dick to me the whole damn time i’ve been here, i’m going to stick to ya when i leave. That’s according to my work history
But, if you’re fair, i’m fair. You know. That’s how it is.
So, anyway, i was outside smoking and they were going over to wendy’s. I mean, you know. Still the best price for what you get. Five dollars. Idk, it’s still a real good deal. Idk, i usually get a #1, Dave’s Classic Single. Just the way it comes. It’s good. It’s a good burger.
And, wendy’s chicken sandwiches were my fisrt great love. Idk, i cheat on that spicy chicken sandwich with the asagio one. They’re both real good. I didn’t mean for this to be a wendy’s commercial. But, we were outside talking about it.
Dave Thomas is a popular topic of conservation in East Tennessee. Probably cause he’s an essay topic in 8th grade tennessee history. An oral report that we had to give about a famous person from the area that does a lot of good deads. Dolly is also a popular subject in these reports.
Like, one report every six weeks about different essay topics and you had to read your report in front of the whole class. In Tennessee History. Oral Reports. Essays. We did it in the 7th grade, too. But, you don’t have to read them aloud in front of the whole class, but you can for extra credit if you want to.
That’s how teachers used to do it, like everyone has to do an essay and then read them to the class. Idk, if they still do that or not. That’s how most of our class time in the 80’s was spent. Listening to other kids give reports.
I wonder if when my kids eat at wendy’s if they think, “ahhhh, mom’s cooking”
I swore off fast food like, the day before yesterday. Too much sodium. But, i really super love wendy’s food. And, arby’s. Idgaf what late night comedians say, arby’s is fucking great. These got these wraps you can can take to work and have for lunch. It’s like, you know, if someone gave a shit and packed your lunch. Those Arby’s wraps are great, and super convenient and easy to pack for lunch.
If you work 2nd or 3rds. You know. That’s how people do. They stop and get something that will hold over in the fridge. Wraps are great, all the fast food restaurants should recognize that market. I mean, when i was working up there, that’s how i packed my lunch like, most days.
Wendy’s salads or arby’s wraps. How 2nd shift packs lunch. Idk, maybe that’s just me. Subway, too. But, i can’t eat subway in my car. I probably could if i didn’t ask them to put so much stuff on it. But, i get leaky subs at subway.
Also, i need to stop spending so much on that, you know. So, i got these .. real food from the grocery store. Ugggghhhhhhhhh. I hate that.
It’s fine. It tastes fine and it’s better for you, it’s just not as fucking yummy Arby’s curly fries. Beef and cheddar add lettuce and tomato. Both sauces, horsey and arby’s sauce. That sauce on those fries. Omg. i shouldn’t be having any little cups of cheese, that’s high in sodium.
It’s about moderation, lol. In shit you should not be eating any fucking way, but i love it. But, now it’s a special treat. It’s 1:31am. Past time time either of those things are even fucking open. I wonder if Hardee’s is open.
They got great burgers, too. But, for real. It’s thoe biscuits at hardee’s. They have the best breakfast. When my sister was pregnant, i would take her to the doctor down that way. We’d stop at hardee’s on the way and grab some biscuits.
They’re all fucking good. Chicken, yes. Sausage, that one. Sometimes they got that country fried steak biscuit at hardee’s. I just about live for that. Omg, when that comes back. Way better than mcrib.
I think it’s seasonal. Or, something like mcrib. They don’t always have that country fried steak. Or, maybe they do. Idk, seems like there’s seasonal biscuits there. Cause sometimes they have that pork chop biscuit. Omg, good as hell. All those biscuits are always fucking good.
Expensive. Little bit.
I like to stick to the restaurants that have real sweet tea. Those are my favorites. Where the tea is good. And, pepsi-co subsidiaries, your tea sucks. And, so does yours burger king.
Arby’s does have good tea. It’s better than mcdonald’s tea. And, wendy’s. Both those teas weak and mcdonald’s uses too much sugar or something. Idk, i think they’re using some kinda liquid sugar. I don’t like mcdonald’s tea no more. That lemonade is really good though, it has pulp in it.
I’m starving. And, i don’t want my save money meal. I said i wasn’t going to doordash anymore. After i got the … suspicious food. It didn’t make me sick or nothing. And, they gave me my money back. But, you know. Left a bad taste in my mouth
Mostly cause i still can’t figure out where they hell it came from. I been showing it’s picture around. You know. In the neighborhood, hey, you know where this food came from. Nobody that live down here knew where it was from.
Then, I accidentally ordered a meal kit service in a scrolling accident. That comes monday, and i have to eat it cause, you know. I mean, i’m trying to save money. Ok. and, overall it was cheaper than going to the grocery store. But, that’s just an introductory rate. You know.
Tricky website, though. Scammy kind of, i mean, i was trying to see the menu cards before i ordered and accidentally ordered, then there’s no way to cancel until the trial period is over. I set an event in my phone to remind me to cancel it.
For serious, i thought it was the other one that i did want to order. Like, one of those, you don’t even have to cook the food. It’s just like, fresh food tv dinners you just put in the toaster over.
And, i was like, holy shit that’s perfect, but then, idk, i couldn’t remember the name, and also, it’s not exactly that, but that’s what i want, but i mean, this is a diet for me. Ok. like, this is the diet.
The companies that do do the exact thing i want only make healthy food. And, i mean, what the fuck, isn’t that fatty descrimination. I don’t want no keto or vegan or none of that kinda shit. Just like, you know. Like, frozen dinners that have never been frozen and made of fresh food that i can put in a toaster oven.
I mean, why can’t someone make that. I got some at the grocery store, not a lot of variety. Both of the ones that i’ve tried so far, good. Could use some seasonings. I mean, really. But, fine. Not as yummy as pizza.
So, i need a step plan to, you know. It a diet step plan where i will eat ever so slightly healthier, and maybe slightly less take out and fast food. It’s my new year’s resolution.
But, really i’m just looking for food that doesn’t suck for as cheap as humanly possible. Wendy’s is at the very top of that list. I still get those $5 biggie bags, too. Idk, comes with nuggets and a burger and fries and a soda. Maybe the 5th thing is a cookie. Idk. used to be a cookie and they wouldn’t let you trade your nuggets for a cookie instead. No, you can’t trade out any of the items. That’s how that works. At wendy’s. They won’t let you trade items in the biggie bag.
There’s an extra charge to put lettuce and tomato on your burger, but they will do that.
That’s the part of being a mom that no one tells ya, like, having to explain fast food restaurant policies to toddlers. That’s the best. It’s like customer service, but if you had to live with the karens. Those four for fours. That’s how my kids graduated from happy meals. Like, idk, i’d ask them that or a happy meal and they’d be like, four for four.
Rather have the nuggets than a toy.
They’ll let you alter the topping on the burger. It comes with mustard, ketchup, onion, pickle, bacon, and cheese. You can take anything away from that or you can add lettuce and/or tomato
Those are wendy’s rules. I can’t help it. Omg, it has mayo on it. Sorry, it’s mayo and ketchup, not mustard and ketchup. Yeah, i’m the car with the particular ass burger order. That’s probably all of them, idk about everyone else, but i’m always adding shit that don’t come on it or taking stuff off.

Hi guys. So recenetly rewatched Ratatouille and now i need to make some oyster sauce. I wanted to get hold of some oyseters. Does anyone know a place in kochi where i can buy fresh oyster? Also what is the exact malayalam name for it? Is it kallummakaaya? I thought that was muscles. Also if someone knows the specific malayalam names for clams and scallops in malayalam and if they are available in kochi do let me know! I find it hard to believe that these items would not be available at fort kochi or vypeen fish market. Its just that i dont know what it is called.
