2023.06.02 22:42 StevesEvilTwin2 [(Fate Kaleid) Spoiler] Theory: Is the endgame of Fate Kaleid to have Prisma Illya become Archerko?

If you don't know, Archerko is a so-called "counter counter guardian" (what this means is never explained but she seems to fundamentally oppose EMIYA Shirou) from the doujin series Swords Dance by Himura Kiseki who is basically Illya from an alternate timeline where she became EMIYA.
Her personality is very similar to Fate Kaleid's Kuro and many have speculated that she is the direct inspiration for the character, so that is already a connection between the two different works.
As of the current moment in the manga, Kuro is gone and many speculate that when she does return, it'll be the form of Kuro and Illya merging together in order to finally have the Illya in Prismaverse, well, actually remotely resemble the same character as FSN Illya.
Furthermore, the current plot of Illya traveling back in time to save the Miyuverse is sort of like she's working as a counter guardian of Gaia (technically her time travel is thanks to Tanaka, who is the counter guardian of Gaia, but Tanaka also seems to be a direct manifestation of Gaia itself), and since Gaia is the opposite of Alaya, who EMIYA is the counter guardian of, that could be one way to make sense of the whole "counter counter guardian" thing.

With the theme of Summer + Archer I knew I had to get fired up and think of something, but it felt like I had already run out of ideas! So after much thought I came up with the hose reel.
Ruby's mood has been steadily getting worse yet she has become more and more popular.
The mysterious cat headdress is made out of toweling not fur.
The initial idea for her second ascension was a graceful style called "wrap towel" but for some reason the boss didn't approve of it. Damn!
I think I overdid it with the facial expressions, but I drew the faces that I thought were necessary for Ilya's role in the story, and this is what I came up with. I am grateful that they were able to be used effectively. (Hiroshi Hiroyama)

2023.06.01 01:18 Anima-Azothos Opinions on Fate Legends: Land of Shadows or Land of the Rising Sun for a Short Chain?

So, I'm making a short 5-Jump Chain as inspiration for a story and I've already decided on 4 of the Jumps, ending in RWBY (Generic RWBY specifically) with the last one being a toss-up between the Fate Legends Jumps Land of Shadows or Land of the Rising Sun, and I'd like your input.
Basic idea and goals is that RWBY is the End Jump with the goal being for Jumper to gain knowledge, experience, and new powers to help improve the state of Remnant and its people overall, defeat/kill Salem, and defeat/kill the Brother Gods.
The chosen Jumps are Fate: Prisma Illya, Halo - UNSC, Highschool DxD (Dumbass x Dumbass), and of course RWBY (Generic RWBY) being the final Jump and challenge, and the final spot is a toss-up between Land of Shadows and Land of the Rising Sun.
Land of Shadows is a great choice for outright power, especially with the Hermit origin, the Immortal and Godslayer perks, Runelord, and Fragarach, as well as having the drawback to have Scathach train you, and topped with the Demon King scenario to gain Balors' Mystic Eyes. All of that would work well together to provide a lot of power and Immortal/God slaying power, and plenty of skill and experience in battle thanks to Scathachs training.
Land of the Rising Sun is great for the wide variety of perks and origins available, especially for crafting Jumpers looking to improve their general crafting skills and mixing magic and technology, which would help a lot on this Chain with Halo, DxD, and RWBY being involved. Notable perks and powers include the Heavenly Eyes, Demon King, and especially Nine Tails to Be, each providing different benefits that would help a lot with the threats to Remnant.
There's probably plenty more that I might not have considered and might have missed, so your ideas and opinions would be greatly appreciated, especially with how either of the choices could mesh with the other Jumps in the Chain.

To me, Kiritsugu is a warning of what not to do. I get that he wanted to bring world peace, but it looks like his only method was killing and nothing else. This was one of his greatest mistakes because world peace is a complicated issue that one person alone cannot solve, as there are so many issues that can't be solved by guns and bullets alone. For example, we have economic issues, political issues, social issues, environmental issues, and so on. Kiritsugu had no answer for any of these. Guess that's why he wanted a miracle, but as we all know, the grail only grants a wish based on the method the user knows, and it merely repeats Kiritsugu's actions on a grand scale. To me, the grail acts as a reflection and basically says, I can't come up with anything you don't know.
Grail corruption aside, even if it somehow granted Kiritsugu the exact wish in the exact way he wanted, it would be faulty because if the utopia was not maintained, it would devolve into chaos once more. Another thing is how complicated humans are to deal with because a person can be a liar but not a thief, some are thieves but not killers, and so on. Would he have the grail remove free will? Even if he wipes out all the bad people and leaves the good people, how would he go about judging that? At the end of the day, Kiritsugu is just another person with limited powers and knowledge, so he cannot be trusted with that power as he can easily cause chaos.
Heck, he's already an unaccountable terrorist who lives above the law and doesn't answer to anyone. If we did what he does, I'm sure the SWAT team would be after us. He might be a good thing in nasuverse but in our world, he would be a criminal. I also want to know who made Kiritsugu god? Who gave him the authority to decide the fate of billions? I do not want to live in his idea of a peaceful world. Now it can be agreed that some people should get capital punishment, but I don't think Kiritsugu alone should be the one to decide.
Also, who cleans up Kiritsugu's messes, and who helps rebuild the lives he destroyed? What happens when innocents are caught in the crossfire? Also, what would Kerry do if he met with someone who wanted revenge because he killed their loved one? And when he isn't killing or hunting, would Kerry help the less fortunate? I'm willing to bet Kiritsugu is willing to kill innocents if the situation calls for it. Of course, he evacuated the building, but he states that Illya and Iri made him soft. I also don't think he's loyal to people, as someone whom he saves today may be sacrificed tomorrow, especially if they end up in the minority. When does sacrificing the minority for the majority end? Also, if the fire was anything to go by, he only helped Shirou while the other survivors got fed to Gilgamesh. Then there's how he screwed Shirou over. Seriously, he knew the kind of chaos that being a "hero" would bring, so why didn't he dissuade the boy? Or at least encourage Shirou to be a doctor or police officer instead. Also, he's a counter guardian in FGO, and according to Prisma Illya (or another work), if he doesn't quit because of the fire, he continues his mercenary ways. Lastly, maybe some allowance can be made for people like Kiritsugu, but we also need doctors, teachers, lawyers, engineers, and other people who can build up and construct society instead of just causing destruction and magically hoping things get better.
Tldr: In his quest to become a hero, Kerry became the very thing he sought to destroy, he became arrogant in thinking that only he alone could save the world, no sacrifice was too high, regardless of who, what, or whether or not they asked to be sacrificed; and only his methods were correct.
Please let me know what you think. Was Kiritsugu correct or was he wrong? Or perhaps I'm wrong in my assessment.

Before all else I'd like to apologize if my english is not perfect since its not my main langguage but i hopeI can motivate people who are reading this. Hear and mark my words shifting is real.i don't remember exaxtly how much i struggled to shift here but i can easily do it much easier now.
I Shifted to fate kaleid prisma illya but its a bit different setting. Not sure if this is the same reality i originally were but i wanna try helping others anyway. I shifted about 14 years there i have a family there already. Ive struggled a lot in this reality. But i scripted a bunch of things that can make my life easier in that reality.
I scripted a touch screen menu that pops up when i said the word "menu" this tool allows me to search for a skill like a google and turn it off and on whenever i want. I scripted to have a high luck and invunerability of me and all my family so we could avoid any danger thats too much to handle.
Me and my wife kuro had a lot of adventures dugeon treasure hunting. Cooking and eating great food and fighting monsters like dragons and goblins. We fought lots of battles and saw amazing places we love dipping in a lake after we finished our meal.since we live near a lake we also fish a lot but one time we caught poisonus fishes even though we are immortal it still made our stomach hurt a lot. So I teleported to a near town to grab remedy for stomach pain.
The world seems to have its own system. Like magic is normalized like it was nothing special. And every being produces mana from there spirit bead or what they call a core or source. Though the mages that analyzes ones source or core coudnt detect any aura or mana in me for some reason i was labaled unfit for a hunting job and was being recommended to be a merchant. Never understood that but kuro and I decided it was best to keep a low profile about it. Since I didnt want to cause any suspicions and attract unwanted attention.
If you're reading this shifters don't give up cause i struggled quite a few months too figuring out what works for you can be a challenge but its worth it once youve done it.
I'll probably stay here a few days to see how my family here is going. Although i doubt i will stay too long I'm more attached to my other reality now i have kids there as well.
