SmartMetric has created a biometric protected credit card that provides a safer card payment experience for card issuers customers. The SmartMetric credit card has an inbuilt fingerprint scanner that reads the card users fingerprint and activates the cards EMV chip as it is being inserted into a retail card reader or ATM. Only the legitimate card holder can use the card.
According to consumer research commissioned by SmartMetric 80% of card users are concerned about card fraud and identity theft. The same research of credit card holders showed that 68% of credit card holders would pay for a biometric credit card.

SmartMetric is in the final stages of production of its newly revised and improved biometric credit card with it’s built inside the card nano fingerprint reader. The nano fingerprint reader inside the card is used to scan the card holders fingerprint. Only after a fingerprint match will the credit or debit card work.
Because the SmartMetric biometric card has an internal hybrid solid state rechargeable battery, the enrollment of a new users fingerprint is as simple as experienced in setting up biometric access on a smartphone. M(23) Almost 3 months ago I went out with a girl I met at a hockey game. We hit it off and had a great time. Date went perfect. Prob the best date I’ve been on. Towards the end the date she was already planning our next dates. We didn’t end up going on another date because her and I had schedule conflicts and eventually it seemed like she lost interest in a second date so it fizzled out and I dropped it.
About 3 or 4 weeks ago I texted her out of the blue asking what’s up and she said she was out on a date with her BF (I assume she was seeing/talking to him when we originally went out). But for some reason she mentioned that we should hang out sometime. I didn’t say yes or no, kind of just dropped the conversation.
About 1.5 weeks ago she started texting me and has been talking to me all day everything with the odd flirtatious comment here or there, nothing to aggressive. And when we text we reminisce of moments from our original date. This past week she’s been asking me a lot to do things like go see movies, go rock climbing, and other activities. These are activities I would personally consider date activities and ones I assume a girl would want to do with her BF rather than some dude she went on a date with, so I am genuinely confused.
I am concerned that if I hang out with her I will just be putting myself in the friend zone if she does have a BF. I am also having difficulty determining if she still has a BF considering she’s been giving me so much attention lately.
So three questions:
1) am I setting myself up for the friend zone? 2) based of the information I have shared, would you think she still has a BF? 3) what’s the most casual way of finding out if she has a BF? This girl literally has 0 social media.

Should I Hire a Private Investigator to Help to find a lost relative or catch a cheating spouse
When we think about private investigators, most of us imagine something out of a movie: The private investigator sits in his car, chomping a sandwich and smoking a cigar while he tries to catch a cheating spouse and lover in a clandestine embrace. But is this the way it is in real life? Yes and no.
How a Private Investigator Might Help
Private investigators are often hired to Help to find a lost relative or catch a cheating spouse, and they can be very helpful for a variety of reasons. However, more often than not, the evidence they collect is more circumstantial than what you see in the movies. When the case involves extramarital affairs, the couples are usually discreet enough that the film is PG-rated at best. Still, every P.I. has stories of catching people in the act and capturing some very private, revealing moments on film.
The Illusion of Privacy
Most people close the blinds unless they’re on an upper floor in a building where they believe they can’t be seen from the ground. But what if a private investigator manages to take video from an upper floor in the building across the street? If a house is in a secluded area, the spouse who has hired the private investigator can give the P.I. permission to walk onto the grounds of the house. The illusion that the lovers can’t be seen because of the seclusion of the house is just that; an illusion. The investigator can easily record their activity through the windows.
Example One: Video Recording
In one case, a male client knew his wife was having an affair, but the investigator hadn’t been able to get any real evidence. So, the P.I. suggested that the client go on a short trip. It wasn’t long after the client went out of town that a strange car appeared at the house. The P.I. called the client and asked him to come back to town, after which the client and P.I. entered the house together and retrieved the client’s gun.
They could hear the wife and her lover in a downstairs bedroom, but the door was locked. The investigator stood by with the gun visible on his hip and a video camera in his hand while the client removed the door to the room and yanked the bed covers off of his wife and lover. The investigator had rehearsed with the client what to say because it was important that he not threaten his wife’s lover in any way. Needless to say, this relationship ended in divorce, and the investigator’s film was instrumental in the husband’s case.
Example Two: Setting Your Spouse Up to Admit Guilt
In another situation, a male client was able to intercept his wife’s emails and learn that she was seeing a man who was arriving in town the next evening. She told her husband that she was going out with the girls, but when the investigator followed her, she ended up at a hotel. He observed her coming out of the hotel with her boyfriend, and while they were gone in the boyfriend’s car, the client moved his wife’s car from the parking lot. The investigator contacted the police to let them know that even if the car was reported stolen, it wasn’t actually stolen. Of course, if the wife reported the car stolen, she would have to admit that she had parked it in a hotel parking lot.
When the wife returned and frantically looked for her car, the client drove up in a van and threw all of her clothes onto the ground. He had gathered them in garbage bags just for this purpose. She was now officially caught and could no longer deny her affairs.
Example Three: Workplace Monitoring
In another case, an employer was related to the spouse of an employee who was suspected of having an affair with a coworker. The employer hired an investigator to place a hidden video camera in the office, which caught the married employee and lover having sex numerous times during the day. So, this couple was not only guilty of avoiding work, but they were committing acts of illicit sexual behavior
Most of the time, people have affairs with just one person that they’ve met at work. This is why the first question an investigator usually asks a client is: Where does your spouse work, and who works with your spouse? Investigators say it’s much less common for a married person to pick up several lovers in bars or to be caught involved in prostitution. But it certainly isn’t unprecedented.
Example Four: Following Someone
In one case, it was discovered that a man had placed a profile on a dating website, stating that he was separated. He began dating women in the area, and the investigator was surprised to find the man out with different women on different evenings. Eventually, the man picked up a woman at a bar and engaged in a sexual act with her in his car in a parking lot. The private investigator was able to shoot video of the couple through the window of the car.
Avoid Hiring Friends to Watch Your Spouse
What if someone asks a friend to follow the spouse or place a wiretap on the spouse’s telephone? This is a recipe for disaster. First of all, wiretapping is illegal a violation of both federal and state law. There are trespassing and harassment laws as well that the average person might not understand, so a friend could be criminally prosecuted for making an inadvertent mistake. Besides criminal charges, the injured parties could take the friend/amateur investigator to court for monetary damages.
Even if the friend stays within the law, a non-professional is much more likely to tip off the party who is being followed. Once the spouse knows they’re being watched, obtaining evidence is next to impossible. This mistake can be costly since private investigators generally charge by the hour. Tipping off the spouse may require considerably more time on the part of the professional investigator, resulting in added cost. One private investigator likens it to getting an estimate on a malfunctioning transmission only to go home and take the transmission apart. When you have to return the transmission to the mechanic in dozens of pieces, the estimate will be higher because it will take the mechanic longer to put the mess back together again.
When Should a Private Investigator Be Hired?
Even if there is nothing more than a suspicion of something amiss in the marriage, consulting with an hacker is a good idea. If the matter ends up in court, the evidence gathered by the P.I. is much more likely to be admissible in the case if it has been gathered with the guidance and direction of an hacker.
Some people believe they can confront their spouse and find a way to work on the marriage. While this is certainly a possibility, if the cheating party is unwilling to work on the marriage, it’s helpful to have the evidence before the confrontation takes place

I have done this offer over the past couple of weeks and there seems to be a distinct lack of information posted on the sub previously, so I wanted to dump my observations as I think this is one of the easiest offers to complete at the moment. Sorry this is a mega essay, but I hope it is helpful to someone.
Far too often I find games are described as easy, but they often require a heavy amount of babying or watching an insane amount of ads. This offer is great; It can be done passively and without spending; you just need to be consistent. Will explain this more next.

What is the time commitment needed
I want to be up front about what is needed, as what is easy for me may be too much for others. To beat this offer you will need to log on every 3-4 hours, use up all your world energy by playing stages. This takes around 15 minutes each time. If you do this 5-6 times per day, it will take 14-21 days to complete. It pends early at 20. I think you technically have a month to do it
You absolutely can spend as much time as you want doing everything in the game, but there is quite a few things in this game you can simply ignore. This guide is therefore not going to be a guide to get max xp and beat it as fast as possible. So experts in the game may question some things. But it is a guide to beat it without stressing or babying.

How this game differs from the usual city builders
At first glance this game looks like a city builder, and your immediate reaction will be to play it like one. It is not, so you do not need to. See below the key reasons this differs from a city builder and why that makes your life easier.
· XP is gained by playing stages, not by upgrading buildings. It is your player level that needs to reach 20, not your stronghold.
· Therefore as a whole, you do not need to worry about upgrading all buildings, keeping your builder constantly active, or forgetting to upgrade a building. For the most part they do not matter, you should aim to get your stronghold to level 10, but many of the other buildings you can ignore. An idle builder is fine. Will give recommended building levels later
· You do not need to buy the second builder, which costs 5$ for a VIP pass. I did this and it was a waste of money. You are perfectly fine with one, mainly because of the prior point.
· You do not have 78 different currencies and energy types to worry about/baby. This makes things simpler. The currencies you have to focus on are Iron, which you use to build things, food which you upgrade mines and heroes with. Lastly you have world energy which you spend to play levels. There is also raid energy and titan energy, but these are largely not important
· Clans/teams are not very important, you can fight a titan with your team. But this yields such a pitiful amount of currency, I honestly would not bother

Guide to beat this as simply as possible.
The focus of the game is to play missions which are a basic puzzle game that is very simple. You do this with a team of 5 heroes, which go from 1 to 5 stars. As you progress you level up your heroes more to enable you to beat harder levels. XP from levels plateaus out pretty quickly so we want to get to a decent level, then do it over and over until we reach level 20. There is an auto button, so you can let the levels auto play themselves, while your phone is put down on the desk.
· You will start with one 3 star hero, Bane. Invest all your food into upgrading him initially
· Do not spend any money on a hero less than 3 stars.
· Our goal is to get a team of three or four 3*+ heroes as quick as possible. 3 is all we need to get to a level high enough to grind to. You get these as follows
· Your second 3* hero will come from beating the starter quests you unlock close to the start. It is about 18 levels you can beat within your first few days. Doing this will award you several epic troop and hero coins, which will get you at least one 3* hero
· Your third will come by accumulating 300 gems and buying a summon. Ideally buy one of the current seasonal summons, as they guarantee a rare, epic, or legendary summon. Mine let me pick a specific element, so that made sure I did not get a hero of an element I already had. Getting 300 gems will take a few days
· Now you simply play the game, levelling up your heroes when you can and try push to Province 7, stage 1. This will take 5-7 days. You will be around level 10 at this point.
· Once you are here, simply play this stage over and over, making sure to use your world energy every 3 hours. Do this until you can comfortably do the same with Province 8, world 1. You can then play this stage until you reach level 20.
· Province 8, world 1 yields 857 XP. You can beat it twice per hour. It takes 458k xp to get from level 10-level 20. Assuming you are not playing at night, and use all your world energy generated for 17 hours of each day; so you have 5 or 6 sessions a day, this will yield ~30k xp per day, this would take a further 15 days to complete. So around 20 days of total play. Giving a week spare.
· Feel free to push to any higher levels you like, Providence 8 is good enough to give the xp you need though.
Building level recommendations
As I said earlier, you do not need to worry about upgrading things much. For the most part, simply upgrade your mines, farms, storages, and strongholds.
· Stronghold: aim for level 10 as this unlocks the barracks, which is helpful. Not worth higher than that though
· Farms and mines: aim for level 7, past this they become expensive and not worth the money if you are playing a few weeks
· Training camps: level 2 is all you need to generate uncommon heroes
· Forge: level 2 is fine
· House: maybe upgrade one to level 5, not important though
Miscellaneous comments
· Raids can be done with raid points. They give a little resources, but overall they are not worth worrying about doing much. The matchmaking is atrocious, so you will get unwinnable matches very often. Only do If you really want to.
· Keep an eye out for the quests, in particular the XP quests; they can yield some solid XP rewards to help you out
· Recruits: you will constantly be notified you cannot hold more recruits. This does not matter, you can earn recruits back so easily losing out on them is irrelevant

Jacob is awoken to the sound of gun fire and the smell of smoke. As he looks around he notices that the three woman who were with him sre gone, but these observations are cut short as another bomb detonates about 35 feet from him, sending its shrapnel through whatever remained of the way, thankfully keeping him safe.
As jacob stumbled towards the hole in wall, he could see the early morning sky lit up from the light of AA fire and the forms of both kansen and siren planes fighting up in the air. As he takes stock of the battle raging across the harbor, he notices that the three woman who were with him were outside - using their riggings to shoot down enemy air craft. After that he began hearing rapid footsteps approach him. As he turns around he is greeted by the sight of tall, tanned woman, with long silver hair wearing black swim wear and wearing an open black jacket.
As she continues her approach, one of the automated siren planes begins to fire into the opening in the wall. As this happens the woman quickly picks up jacob and begins running away from the exposed area, while firing her AA. After a few seconds of AA fire, the plane is shot down and crashes into a surrounding building, setting it on fire.
After walking for about a minute, the woman finds a safer area for them and proceeds to place jacob back down. As jacob trys to say something, he is cut off as the woman starts speaking. "Are you alright?" She says, jacob trys to nod, but is stopped by a pain on his side. As he looks down he finally realizes that he had been hit by a piece of shrapnel. The woman notices this and speaks again "I'll take you to vestal. Keep preasure on the wound and try to stay awake", jacobs nods as the woman begins to pick him up again, and proceeds to start running out of the building towards the base hospital.
As they are running, jacob looks around and finds that the battle is nearly over. Only a few siren ships and planes remained, but from what he could tell it wasnt as clear a victory as he would've hoped. As he looked at the dock he could see several hulls burning and sinking into the water, and many other hulls on the dock that were set alight - he could also see that many buildings on the base were either damaged or destroyed just like the building that housed his office.
While looking around, jacob doesnt even notice the fact that they reached the clinic or the fact that he was starting to feel light headed, until finally he couldnt keep his eyes open anymore, and drifted off.
Jacob jolted out of the hospital bed with a start, as the memorys of what happend before he passed out start replaying inside of his head. As jacob looks around he notices 5 people around him - Z23, kuybyshev, theseus, the woman who brought him here, and what jacob could best describe as a nun with light lilac hair and blue eyes.
After jolting up, jacob winced in pain as both his abdomen hurt on hid right side, and a pain he didnt notice before on his cheek. After seeing that jacob was awake, the nun looking person started speaking up. "You're a lucky one commander chasler. if masacheussets didnt rush you in here you probaly would have bled out", this statement causes jacob to pale, but without taking notice vestal continues speaking, "thankfully we we're able to stabilise you and were able to remove any pieces of shrapnel that were imbedded in you", after vestal finishes speaking, jacob asks them all a question, "How much damage did the port sustain, and are there any casualties?", after this question the room falls silent for a few moments, during which everyone in the room shifts uncomfortably before vestal begins to speak up "we lost two battleships - arizona and oklahoma, and around 72% of the port has either been damaged or destroyed". After saying that the room reverts back to its silent state for a few minutes before Z23 speaks up, "Commander Chasler, i know this may be a bit much to ask since you've been here for less than 3 hours and have already been through a siren air raid - but the fact of the matter is that base repairs will require extensive amounts of paper work. So it is my belief that once you are able to leave, that you immediately come to conference building which contains an extra office, so we can begin the process of going through the paperwork" after what Z23 said, jacob nods solemenly as he looks out of the window in the room they were in and gazes upon the port - Where many fires were still being put out.

After gazing upon that sight for what felt like an eternity, jacob finally realized that he had a moment to actually think - and he could only think one thing - 'Well this is a shitty first day'

After being discharged from vestals clinic an hour and a half later, jacob begins the process of heading towards the conference building - moving around debris and rubble as he walked through the once majestic port, avoiding any kansen that may be running around bringing supplies here or there, or putting out the odd fire.
After walking for about 10 minutes, jacob finally arrived at the - shockingly - almost fully intact conference building, and walks in. Inside of it, he finds Z23, kuybyshev, and theseus, reading and signing papers at break neck speeds. Jacob doesnt say anything, as he enters, and takes a seat at the desk that was left for him. he proceeds to start going over the paper work - reading, signing, asking for assistance from one of the three woman at times - until finally he realizes that its already night time and more than 3/4 of the papers still need to be reviewed, signed, and sent. So even after everyone else left to turn in for the night - jacob remained in the office, doing as much as he could, until eventually at 2 in the morning, he decided to head back to his room since it was still largely intact.

In the show its seen as an accident but I assume whats going to end of happening is aemond would rather be branded a purposeful kin slayer rather than an accidental one but in the books he does seem to do it purposely although we can't 100% know for sure regardless
Aemond killing luke was understandable but not justified, he was picked on during his youth by Luke (and others) and Luke stole his eye and left him with a permanent scar, disabled and possibly affected potential marriage opportunities, Aemond had to relearn how to do basic tasks like eating and WALKING at 12 years old (10 in the books). Then years later Luke decides its a good idea to mock and laugh his uncle who he disabled and bullied.
Im seen some people say "HEY AEGON BULLIED HIM TO WHY DOESNT AEMOND HATE AEGON!!" and my response to that is aemond likely feels some resentment towards aegon but aegon standing up and taking the blame for calling the strong bastards well bastards like a champ and not blaming there mother likely meant way more to aemond and at least partly let the past be in the past, Jace and luke have done nothing to apologize and jace during dinner talking about "fond memories" and luke laughing at the pig clearly shows they have NO intention of apologizing or even feeling slightly sorry.
Aemond should not have killed luke, its an eye for an eye, not an eye for a son which is what happened, but I at least understand why he would've wanted luke dead. I've heard a theory that the reason vhagar kills luke is because deep down THAT is what Aemond wanted, Aemond was permanently maimed by the guy and luke was not remorseful AT ALL and was actively laughing and mocking aemond, I 100% understand why Aemond would've wanted him dead.
Quick side note, I've seen some people say "AEMOND SAID IT WAS A FAIR TRADE WHY IS HE STILL UPSET ABOUT IT!?!?!!!" and all I haft to say is Aemond said that to draw attention back to him, his mother alicent, had just gone against the kings orders and attacked the at the time heir to the iron throne, and even if in that momment he really thought it was a fair trade aemond hasn't tried to do anything yet, he hasn't tried to walk far distances, he hasn't tried to eat, he hasn't tried to write, he hasn't tried to do ANYTHING with his new disability, he in that momment can not actually say it was a fair trade because he has not lived more that like 10 minutes with his new injury and after living with the injury he clearly doesn't believe it to have been a fair trade because he demands for lukes eye several years later.

I'm currently travelling abroad and I broke the screen of my Samsung Galaxy A7. The screen has detached from the phone, only hanging by the chord. There is no image at all, and I think that it does not respond to the touch. But the phone itself is fine, it still vibrates from the notifications.
It's fairly complicated to get it repaired right now, as I'm away from any city and phone shop. And I can't use regular screen control softwares on pc because the USB debugging is not activated...
Is there a solution to control the screen on my pc (windows 10) without the USB debugging option? And is there an easy way to recover the latest data without having to authorize the access from my phone?

If all of these premises below are true, an ASI would still be capable of reconstituting your consciousness, even if you cremate your brain. It could still either recreate its organic configuration, or simply reinstate the information pattern in another substrate.

1. The X consciousness of an individual arises due to X configuration of matter. This looks like a fair assumption to me. Some professed non-materialists seem to disagree, however. One second you are breathing sevoflurane, the next you are opening your eyes, there is no in between, or dreaming of any kind.

My summary for the next banner and it is a……….Halloween banner in March?!
Well for context, the banner was originally released in the Japanese version of the game in August 2022. August is when Japan celebrates the Obon Festival, the time when the spirits are able to return to Earth and be with their families.
To summarize:

1. Vampire Lady [Ghastly But Cute], is a now tanky S.Sword support, though she can still inherit skills from her previous Sword styles.

Passive 1 - Has a 25% chance enter into an evasive stance for 1 turn at the start of the start of turn and 25% chance to increase her own DEX by 15%.
Passive 2 – When landing an attack, recovers own HP (very small effect) and 1 surviving party member’s HP (very small effect). Also recovers own +1BP and 1 surviving party member’s +1BP. (As with past similar abilities, this is random and can be a hit or miss situation)
Passive 3 - High Protect Tension, grants her 30% damage mitigation and 20% damage boost.
Skill 1 – D powered All Foes Pierce attack (4 - 3BP when fully awakened)
Skill 2 – B powered Single Foe Pierce/Shadow attack (9 - 7BP when fully awakened). When this attack lands, has a 25% chance to recover all surviving party member’s +2BP and a 25% chance to activate chase Skill: Blood Sucker, a D power Slash attack that also recovers her own HP (small effect).
Skill 3 – B powered All Foes Pierce/Shadow attack (13 - 10BP when fully awakened) [Critical: Human]. When the attack hits, has a medium chance to inflict charm on targets for 4 turns.
This Vampire Lady is really more for Remembrance Battles, even though her survivability has been enhanced with her Skill 2’s chance to further heal herself. In the case of S.Sword styles, there are other options to inflict charm, such as Jamil [Beauty is a Sin…]
Her Skill 3 can be back inherit to her previous sword styles for that All Foes charm, if you do not have her summer style. She has High Protect Tension, and can act as a BP battery (RNG based), but her WIL is still relatively low for high difficulty boss fights, making her susceptible to status ailments.
2) King Sei [I Am No Monster!], is a powerful G.Sword attackefarmer, with an interesting mechanic. (***Note that King Sei starts with only 4LP)
Passive 1 – Recover +10BP at the start of battle.
Grants himself Morale Up (40%) at the start of round for 3 turns.
Grants himself Heat up* (10%) at the start of round. (*Heat Up last throughout the battle and Max 10 times per battle).
Decreases own END/CHA at the start of turn (very large effect).
Passive 2 – Grants 10% attack boost. When attacked and HP reaches 0, returns to 100% of Max HP (Max 1 time per battle).
Passive 3 – Grants 40% attack boost.
Skill 1 - Support skill that is Fast. Grants all surviving party members Morale Up (40%) for 3 turns and Heat Up (10%) (5 – 3BP when fully awakened, costs 2LP). (Note that he can only cast this skill once per battle due to his starting 4LP)
Skill 2 – SSS powered Single Foe Slash/Shadow attack. When the attack hits, grants target Guard down (12%) for 3 turns (13 – 10BP when fully awakened).
Skill 3 – A powered All Foes Slash attack. Grants himself Attack boost (10% - 15% at max rank 99) for 3 turns before attacking.
Oue 1st style that starts with 20BP. King Sei is a great farmer, especially for 2 rounds farm. He will also excel in Pandemonium type battles such as the current Turbulent War & Wastelands War. Could see possible use in boss fights, where the strategy is to burst down the boss as fast as possible.
3) Hana [Cool Off With US] is tanky Club attackedebuffer.
Passive 1 –
When landing an attack, has 37% chance to decrease target's INT by 15%.
When landing an attack, has 37% chance to recover own +2BP.
Passive 2 – When landing an attack, increases own STR by 15% and recovers own +1BP.
Passive 3 – Great Block Tension, grants her 25% damage mitigation and 30% damage boost.
Skill 1 - Blast Heal+, C powered Blunt attack. Recovers own hp (small effect) (4 – 3BP when fully awakened).
Skill 2 – C powered All Foes Blunt/Shadow attack. When the attack hits, has a medium chance to inflict confuse on targets for 4 turns (9 – 7BP when fully awakened).
Skill 3 – Meter Strike+, SSS powered Single Foe Blunt attack. When the attack hits, has a chance to decrease target’s STR & INT (15% - 20% at max rank 99) (13 – 10BP when fully awakened).
Hana is useful for the next upcoming Remembrance Battle with Wuhan, where her Skill 2’s All Foes confuse will be key. She does have value in other future Remembrance Battles as well, with her STR & INT debuffing capability.
Overall, the styles in this banner are again built for Remembrance Battles, while King Sei can be a very interesting addition to said game modes like Pandemonium type battles and bursting down bosses, besides farming. If one does lose sleep over not clearing Remembrance Battles the instant they are released, then this banner is skippable.

Sort of at a loss and hoping someone has some advice that can help me get through. Long story short, we moved from one HCOL to another HCOL for my partner's job as he works in a very specific industry where getting ahead is really dictated by being able to show face & be in person at the job for a few years (and then perhaps some more flexibility kicks in with WFH, not living in the same city as the HQ, etc.). To be fair, I was very open to moving as we were excited to try a new city after years of living in our old one.
Prior to this, I worked as a PMHNP inpatient at a job that I absolutely loved. It was truly my dream job and I would've never left had we not been moving too far for me to keep it. The first job I got in the new city was a completely 180 from what was described in the job description (outpatient clinic) and was so actively toxic that within the first month I began looking for a new role, and I left the job around the 90 day mark for a new role (also outpatient, as the city we are in doesn't seem to hire many PMHNP inpatient).
I have been there for ~5 months now and I am actively dreading work every day. I hate outpatient work, I hate the constant back-to-back of clients, no time to breathe, strict regimented day that doesn't even allow for a dentist appointment without marking it off in your calendar months in advance. I am dealing with a fairly entitled (somewhat younger) client base which also makes the work difficult as they often come in expecting me to hand them stimulants and sleep meds. The acuity of other patients is so concerning I can't believe we've agreed to see them. The coworkers I have are nice enough (though I never see them given our schedules) and we have front desk who do billing/scheduling. I don't necessarily hate the work environment-- just the work itself. This all has been affecting my mental health -- I'm definitely depressed and I dread work every single day. It has spilled over into my personal life where I feel irritable and exhausted most of the time.
I recently began therapy again to help -- but I know I can't leave this job so quickly after I left another (and there aren't many open roles hiring in anything inpatient regardless). We might be able to move out of this HLOC to somewhere closer to my old job in 18 months to 2 years or so; but not likely before then. I loathe the idea of private practice; I don't have the executive functioning for all of the business aspects. I just want to go back to the inpatient role I had.
Does anyone have advice for how to power through this? I know the traditional advice would be to just quit-- but between the necessity of the income, healthcare, and the fact that there isn't really much better in this city currently-- I'm really just wondering how others mindfully manage their jobs in their life when they can't leave right away.

I am a 16 year old male, and I got my dog about 4 years ago in October. My mom got her off craigslist from some college guys who seemed like they were rowdy but we don't know the whole story since we have no contact, she was 7 months old at the time. When we first got her, she was very skittish and refused to come out of her crate, but eventually she warmed up to us and started coming out, but when we would introduce new people she would literally be trembling with fear, even if they were women. She is way better with new people now but she just always seems somewhat nervous around me but not my mom (she is divorced, so I'm the only male in the house under normal circumstances, e.g. guests over). When I say somewhat nervous, I mean things like when I call her name sometimes and she is sitting somewhere, she looks the other way pretending she can't her me. So when she does that I approach her, which she then turns her head very quickly to look at me and looks at me at a downward angle with her hear all the way down (her ears are normally up and triangle shaped). I have never hit her or anything like that but its just little things like that which make me think she is nervous of me. Another very odd thing to me is when we bring her to another house with us, she becomes quite literally attached to me. For example, I'm at my cousins house which is decently big, and we have a bunch of our extended family over who she is all comfortable with and doesn't get nervous around anyone, but if I go behind a closed door, like into one of my cousins bedrooms, she will sit behind the door and whine/wait for me to come out or let her in. This gives me an idea that she isn't completely nervous around me but I just have no idea why her behavior is like this, I tried looking it up a couple of times but I couldn't find anything like it on the internet, I want to address this issue and I don't want my dog to live nervous around me. Before I forget to mention it, she is also a very hyperactive dog, she has a TON of energy and is always running around the backyard, going on hikes, walks, and other activities. Any tips or pointers to help her become more comfortable around me are encouraged, and any ideas as to why she acts this way to help me understand would be greatly appreciated! Hello guys. I'm married to a USC, I-130 PD Oct 2021, I-485 PD Nov 2021. I-765 was approved 3 months ago and I-131 was denied because of my previous situation with USCIS. We received a RFE for medicals on 3/1 and USCIS updated that they received my paperwork on 3/6 and nothing else after that.
My husband and I have been calling USCIS twice a month since January. On my husband's online account it shows that "As of November 4, 2021, we are actively reviewing your Form I-130" and every time we call, they say our case is still within the processing time. Yesterday my hubby called them again to get an update on I-130. This time an agent asked him a bunch of questions that they never asked before, like where he was born, how he became a US citizen, his full name on the birth cert. So I'm about to pull the trigger on a solar x series guitar but I have a few questions maybe you guys can answer. I am based in U.S. how long does it usually take to receive the guitar? Student IDs

The League of Women Voters and local voter advocacy group Babe Vote filed a lawsuit against Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane (R) challenging a newly enacted voter suppression law. House Bill 124, signed into law by Gov. Brad Little (R) earlier this month, eliminates the use of a student ID as an acceptable form of identification for in-person voting.

[T]hrough HB 124, the legislature imposed more stringent voting ID requirements that make voting less accessible and more difficult for young voters and specifically for Idaho students whose school IDs are no longer sufficient for voting.
HB 124 removed the option for voters to use their student IDs. Now, voters can vote in person only if they can present an Idaho drivers’ license or ID card, a U.S. passport or other identification issued by a federal agency, a tribal photo ID, or a concealed carry permit.
Notably, each of the now-permissible forms of voter ID cost the ID holder money to obtain; upon information and belief, student IDs were the only form of free photo ID that could be used to vote at the polls. Now, voters have no cost-free ID.

March for Our Lives and Rosaura Barron, an Idaho student, have separately sued Secretary of State McGrane in federal court, seeking to have House Bill 124 invalidated. “House Bill 124’s prohibition on the use of student identification to vote is a major escalation of [the] effort to suppress growing political activism by young Idahoans,” the lawsuit argues. “It is a surgical attack on Idaho’s young voters in response to their successful organizing efforts and increasing political power.”

This violates the Twenty-Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which provides that voting rights “shall not be denied or abridged . . . by any State on account of age.” That broad language does more than simply lower the voting age to 18; it expressly prohibits election rules that discriminate against young voters on account of age. The Amendment was enacted at a time of increasing alienation of young Americans, whose exclusion from the political process was causing political unrest. As a result, the Amendment’s “goal was not merely to empower voting by our youths but was affirmatively to encourage their voting, through the elimination of unnecessary burdens and barriers, so that their vigor and idealism could be brought within rather than remain outside lawfully constituted institutions.” Worden v. Mercer Cnty. Bd. Of Elections, 61 N.J. 325, 345, 294 A.2d 233, 243 (1972).

One person, one vote

North Carolina House Republicans introduced legislation last week to end one person, one vote—potentially setting up a legal battle that could reach the conservative Supreme Court.
House Bill 376 would amend that state constitution to move away from the current scheme—mandated by the federal constitutional law—wherein each state senator represents an equal number of citizens. The new system proposed by the bill would have each senator represent two counties, no matter how many people live there. As a result, Wake county’s 1.15 million residents would have the same number of state senators as Tyrrell County, home to just 2,000 people.
State Rep. Jay Adams (R) sponsored the legislation, with seven other Republicans joining as co-sponsors. The bill is needed, Adams says, because densely-populated urban areas have more representatives than sparsely-populated rural areas, leading to what he calls an unfair advantage:

State Rep. Jay Adams says he wants to do something about the significant legislative advantage he sees that big counties and cities in North Carolina have over their less-populated neighbors… “Charlotte-Mecklenburg has an 18-member delegation [in the state House and Senate]. We have a 3-member delegation [in Catawba]. Mecklenburg and Wake counties have a huge advantage. I started to think about a better way of doing things.”
In an interview with North State Journal, Adams said the Senate districts would “mimic the federal Senate arrangement” where there are two senators for every state and then the representation in the House is by population. He later added, “Wyoming has a population of less than 600,000 but got two senators.” [...] “So the further I thought about this, is it not a legitimate thing to think that each county government, all the municipalities in that county, the school boards, and everything — shouldn’t they get equivalent representation in the Senate? Is that an unreasonable thought?”

While the bill would undoubtedly be challenged in court if it passes both chambers, conservatives could be hoping for a positive outcome given the rightward swing of both the North Carolina Supreme Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.

South Dakota

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem signed 12 election bills into law last week, including four that dramatically curtail voting and election procedures in the state:

• Senate Bill 55: prohibits all political subdivisions of the state from adopting ranked choice voting
  
• Senate Bill 113: Requires a petition to amend the state constitution be filed with the secretary of state at least a year before the general election.
  
• Senate Bill 139: requires a person to have lived in the state for at least 30 days before registering to vote (in contrast, the state’s residency law only requires a person to spend one night in the state).
  
• House Bill 1165: bans ballot drop boxes in all instances except a “secured and monitored receptacle or container at the office of the individual in charge of the election.”
