Is there any reason to be excited about matter or the Sky Connect, or to add it to my home? It seems like it's a great way to maintain control and usability of cloud based devices when a manufacturer ends support, like if WeMo died and you had Matter WeMo switches, you could still use them. But, I don't plan I buying anything like that.

My representation filed something about a rule 16 the judge scheduled pre trial review and a jury trial dat as well. My defense called me Friday and said they will be filing something to move this forward this week now that we had to wait to give the prosecutor time until Friday or Monday. I have zero concerns about having to take this to a jury if necessary but I’m curious if it’s possible this will be dismissed before my next court date in couple weeks?

Today, we're going to receive quite a lot of exposition about the nature of Strictland through the eyes of Seonghwa. There's a lot to discuss, so let's jump right in.

BobbyJ: It's interesting that emotions aren't fully abolished. They're just severely dulled. Which obviously reminds me of The Giver. And that only art has been abolished specifically.

Are we to assume that the Grimes siblings think these boys look like Halateez? Or do they not know? Because Halateez wore masks?

We've talked before about whether there is a world outside of strictland. And you know, I still don't know? Maybe that's a future goal? Or Z is in charge of the entire human race, which feels... big

BobbyJ: I disagree. It's true that we can't control our feelings. But our feelings do not dictate what we do or how we act. It's the will to do something wrong for the sake of selfishness or greed--which I don't classify as emotions
GD: I guess I'm saying that I think human emotions are a cause, but not the cause

GD: Does the Korean government currently have branches? I know they have a president, but I guess I don't know much else about how power in the government works there. Like I don't know if they have legislative bodies, how powerful the judicial branch is, etc

I want to talk about art. Art with a capital A. Art=emotion
BobbyJ: Yes. The entire process of creating and engaging with art is based on emotions
GD: Sort of no matter how the individual members of Ateez feel about their lore, I have always felt that they embody that philosophy. Just this idea that Art is Important?
I talked about this the other day, but I was very impressed with KQ hiring a local artist for the billboard promotion during anchor. I thought it was very thematic, and also that it sort of embodied a lot of the ideas that they do put out in their diaries. Because as you mentioned earlier, art is the only thing that's banned
BobbyJ: I'm thinking about this idea of songs that give me negative feelings vs. songs that give me no feelings at all. I don't know exactly what I am thinking. But it reminds me of a chat I had with a fellow yearbook advisor years ago
He said that when his staff is trying to decide on their artistic direction for that year's volume, they'd go through a bunch of magazines and everyone would pick out spreads they really like. They'd pin them all to a bulletin board. Then each staffer would get two colors of push pins. They'd all use one color for spreads they like and one for spreads they hate. He said that after the exercise, they'd remove all the spreads that received none or few pins while those that had a lot of either love or hate pins they'd keep.
And I thought it was interesting that the hated spreads were kept. And his reasoning was that those spreads made the staffers feel something. It wasn't a good something, but it was something
GD: That is interesting
BobbyJ: And when I apply this idea to music or movies or tv or art--the things I actively dislike do stick with me while the things I just nothing fade away
GD: It reminds me of book clubs in a way? Like, in my book club, we have a great book club discussion when everyone loves or hates the book. If people are like, yeah, it's fine, the conversation is so.... nothing.
BobbyJ: Is it. . . harder to talk about things that we love actually?
I can't help but notice that whenever there's a heartfelt appreciation post, it gets very little traction and engagement. But if someone does an "unpopular opinion" or "things you hate about the group you love" post, suddenly everyone has something to share. Perhaps we've talked about this before. Justifying why you dislike something is easier than justifying why you love something?
GD: So I sometimes wonder if, when it comes to music, the problem is one of vocabulary more so than a lack of desire? Like, most people have taken a basic literature class, so when we love a book, we can all universally talk about things like plot, structure, characters--we have some sort of shared understanding of the parts of a story and can discuss and identify the things that we like
It's different for music. I do not know how to identify the parts of a song or the instruments or just the music things that are happening. Music knowledge and vocabulary is so much more niche, so I do think that makes it harder to discuss and pinpoint music that we really love--because we're experiencing it fully emotionally, the context and words all removed. So I do think with music especially, it is easier to talk about the things that we dislike.
BobbyJ: But shouldn't your dislike also require vocabulary? I remember when I was trying to rant about O.O I didn't have any of the words so I had to resort to metaphor
GD: I think it's possibly easier to come up with metaphors for things we dislike than things we love. I can only describe listening to Jongho as like looking into the face of god so many times before I start to sound like I'm slightly insane.
But you know, people don't have the right words to describe why they dislike something all the time--and they just go forward with the wrong words. How many times have you seen someone say "Ateez's music is too noisy for me" when Ateez has possibly two songs in their discography that could be labeled noise music? "I don't like the autotune" when there's barely any autotune
BobbyJ: People do seem to have Feelings about Ateez music. Which I would argue supports the idea that Ateez are making Art
I do wonder exactly what Z classifies as art
GD: I for sure agree with you. It's like that conversation about what a cover should be from the other day: you can like or dislike what Ateez does when covering another group's song, but they will be changing it to achieve their own artistic expression. They will not make you a copy. They will make new art.
We know paintings. Music seems implied.
BobbyJ: Fashion probably? Which makes me think it's interesting that Left Eye specifically is a former designer. But it wasn't the art ban that made him give up designing
Actually, reading ahead. I'm not sure fashion was banned after all? It's hard to tell
GD: I guess it's interesting to me because anything can be art. A house, a car, furniture? Given the right person making those things, they can be art just as easily as they might not be art.
So I do wonder if Z is defining Art more broadly... like, art is not this thing, but art is anything that incites an undue amount of emotion
BobbyJ: Right--I was just thinking, is all music art? And I would argue no if the person writing a song is not doing it for the sake of expression but for the sake of making money. But if that song evokes emotion in someone else, I'd say yes, it is art.
GD: We do have those prohibited signs from Rhythm Ta, which calls out "art, music, dance"? Am I remembering that correctly? Or is it "art, music, emotion"?
What does it mean for something to be defined as art is really a question courts have struggled with for many, many, many years. So it's possible that even in Z's world, what is art is a question that is constantly influx and being redefined

So in Tutton v. Viti, the supreme court implied that it is up to the creators to define whether the thing they created is art. The case was about sculpture, and whether these sculptors who were copying sculptures were engaged in the act of creating art

GD: And basically, they said the sculptors were artists due to their skill despite the lack of creative merit. They weren't trying to like, sell them. It was creating replica sculptures in art class. Which would violate copyright (if they were selling them)
BobbyJ: So, like, if I do a cover of a BTS song and I sound identical to BTS, I'm still an artist . Hypothetically
GD: If you perform it with good enough skill, according to the US Supreme Court, it seems so
BobbyJ: Wait--they weren't selling them? Then what was the problem? How did it end up in the Supreme Court?
GD: I have not read the full case and it is extremely old, so hard to parse, but it seems the original sculptor did not want them making replicas in their art class and argued they were not allowed to do it because it wasn't real art
BobbyJ: Artists do studies all the time where they basically copy other artists' work in order to learn techniques
GD: And the supreme court said, no, they can do that. Which, exactly. This is a precedent that holds. If you do art and sell it, I can't copy it and also sell it. I can however copy it and use it for my own personal use (legally--that doesn't mean it's ethical, but legally)
BobbyJ: Well, it's the same idea as me copying a designer dress and making it myself and for myself because I don't want to spend $800 on a dress
GD: Like if someone made something on etsy that I wanted, and I didn't want to pay for it, I can legally copy it for myself. Right, the supreme court would define both of those things as artistic endeavors
BobbyJ: Huh. I mean--I don't disagree. I'm also not certain it needs to be termed as "art"
GD: Terming it "art" is how they protect it because art is a protected right under the constitution
BobbyJ: Wait--if art is also a protected right in the South Korean constitution, then that would imply that Z was able to change the constitution. Which is wild. How long did this process take?
(Also, assuming that Strictland was originally more like South Korea)
GD: We'd have to review the South Korean constitution. I don't know for sure that it is a right because I know nothing about their legal system. But because art is protected under our constitution, I have always defined art fairly broadly. So considering art being banned, is putting me in a different head space

GD: I'm now looking up how to make constitutional amendments in Korea
BobbyJ: I mean if they also had a National Assembly, he got the bill passed there

GD: I would like to note that "people enjoyed material affluence"

GD: And I am thinking of Maslow's hierarchy? Which I know is something we've also discussed a lot. But I am wondering, how many citizens weren't having their basic needs met when they agreed to give up art?
BobbyJ: Right. Is art part of our Maslow?
A lot probably. There had to have been problems in order for people to accept Z's proposal
GD: It's certainly easier to give up art if you're not currently able to eat
BobbyJ: Mingi comes to mind. Which I think is when we were discussing Maslow
GD: I have argued, and I will still argue it, that art should be part of human's basic needs. Like, it can make the rest of it all seem less grim for some people. But yeah, if you don't have a place to live, don't have any food, are struggling to just survive, giving up art for the promise of having your basic needs meet will be very appealing to many people
BobbyJ: I think I would argue that art belongs on the "love and belonging" tier which is about friends, family and connection. Art helps us connect with ourselves and others and the world around us. Like, you read a poem that perfectly describes how you feel. Or Ateez releases Turbulence and you swear they pulled the lyrics straight out of your soul
GD: Mmmmmm. . . and love and belonging aren't actually that low on the pyramid. High I mean. They're not that high--they're in the middle
BobbyJ: But you can't really fully reap the benefits of that tier if you are starving to death. And self-actualization is pretty meaningless if you aren't connected to other people in some way
GD: I spend a lot of time thinking about self-actualization which I forgot was even on this pyramid. I'm looking at the pyramid now, obviously
Yes. Art is love and belonging. I've decided you're right. So they've traded in love and belonging for the two things below it
In the next paragraph, they say that the songs had "the power to attract people" which I think is interesting
BobbyJ: The "various fields" is interesting to me. I think of people in different lines of work. Like scientists, teachers, lawyers, etc. But I'm not sure that's what it means
GD: I had long ago been confused about who the black pirates were and how they related to halaateez, but this line makes it pretty clear that halateez sort of inspired other people to get out of Z's control, and then those other people formed the black pirates
BobbyJ: Right. Halateez are "men wearing black fedora.” The Black Pirates is the name of the resistance
GD: Halateez "stimulated" them. Which, with what we know from Halazia, makes sense that the resistance seems to venerate them? Because they weren't necessarily a part of, and well known, to the resistance. They were merely the inspirational rallying cry. Does that make sense?
BobbyJ: Like Katniss. Not everyone knew her but they knew OF her
GD: Yes, and I'm interpreting Halazia as showing us what Strictland thought of halateez, not that halateez appear in the MV because I do not think they do.
Back to your point, what do you think people from various fields means if not different positions?
BobbyJ: I wondered if it meant more physical location. Although, if you have people with different skills and specialties, it would explain how the resistance is able to start fighting back
GD: Do you think it could mean something similar to stations too? Like, young, old, rich, poor, etc
BobbyJ: Could be.
GD: Skipping to the last line, we have Hwa sort of repeating a line similar to Hongjoong's in the first entry? What's important is getting back home. And they can't do that now
BobbyJ: Right. They haven't grasped their place in this story yet
GD: I read ahead because I couldn't stop myself and the jump is fascinating "we have to get back home" to "I won't come back home"

BobbyJ: Because I became very curious about a different switch--how do they go from we need to get home to let's save this country

BobbyJ: This is way ahead, but after the Receiving of the Suits, in the very next chapter, San discovers the lost memories and feels "a surge of anger.” After that, Yeosang gets caught and all the drama happens with the museum and Yunho's brother. But I think that's the switch. I think it triggers San's empathy. And he spreads the agenda to the others
GD: I am very interested in what's happening with Yunho, but I suppose I need to save my interest for like 6 weeks. I do think we will need to cut this bible study in half

GD: That is interesting
BobbyJ: And when I apply this idea to music or movies or tv or art--the things I actively dislike do stick with me while the things I just nothing fade away
GD: It reminds me of book clubs in a way? Like, in my book club, we have a great book club discussion when everyone loves or hates the book. If people are like, yeah, it's fine, the conversation is so.... nothing.
BobbyJ: Is it. . . harder to talk about things that we love actually?
I can't help but notice that whenever there's a heartfelt appreciation post, it gets very little traction and engagement. But if someone does an "unpopular opinion" or "things you hate about the group you love" post, suddenly everyone has something to share. Perhaps we've talked about this before. Justifying why you dislike something is easier than justifying why you love something?
GD: So I sometimes wonder if, when it comes to music, the problem is one of vocabulary more so than a lack of desire? Like, most people have taken a basic literature class, so when we love a book, we can all universally talk about things like plot, structure, characters--we have some sort of shared understanding of the parts of a story and can discuss and identify the things that we like
It's different for music. I do not know how to identify the parts of a song or the instruments or just the music things that are happening. Music knowledge and vocabulary is so much more niche, so I do think that makes it harder to discuss and pinpoint music that we really love--because we're experiencing it fully emotionally, the context and words all removed. So I do think with music especially, it is easier to talk about the things that we dislike.
BobbyJ: But shouldn't your dislike also require vocabulary? I remember when I was trying to rant about O.O I didn't have any of the words so I had to resort to metaphor
GD: I think it's possibly easier to come up with metaphors for things we dislike than things we love. I can only describe listening to Jongho as like looking into the face of god so many times before I start to sound like I'm slightly insane.
But you know, people don't have the right words to describe why they dislike something all the time--and they just go forward with the wrong words. How many times have you seen someone say "Ateez's music is too noisy for me" when Ateez has possibly two songs in their discography that could be labeled noise music? "I don't like the autotune" when there's barely any autotune
BobbyJ: People do seem to have Feelings about Ateez music. Which I would argue supports the idea that Ateez are making Art
I do wonder exactly what Z classifies as art
GD: I for sure agree with you. It's like that conversation about what a cover should be from the other day: you can like or dislike what Ateez does when covering another group's song, but they will be changing it to achieve their own artistic expression. They will not make you a copy. They will make new art.
We know paintings. Music seems implied.
BobbyJ: Fashion probably? Which makes me think it's interesting that Left Eye specifically is a former designer. But it wasn't the art ban that made him give up designing

GD: I guess it's interesting to me because anything can be art. A house, a car, furniture? Given the right person making those things, they can be art just as easily as they might not be art.
So I do wonder if Z is defining Art more broadly... like, art is not this thing, but art is anything that incites an undue amount of emotion
BobbyJ: Right--I was just thinking, is all music art? And I would argue no if the person writing a song is not doing it for the sake of expression but for the sake of making money. But if that song evokes emotion in someone else, I'd say yes, it is art.
GD: We do have those prohibited signs from Rhythm Ta, which calls out "art, music, dance"? Am I remembering that correctly? Or is it "art, music, emotion"?
What does it mean for something to be defined as art is really a question courts have struggled with for many, many, many years. So it's possible that even in Z's world, what is art is a question that is constantly influx and being redefined

GD: Do you know the supreme court case where the supreme court tries to define art?

So in Tutton v. Viti, the supreme court implied that it is up to the creators to define whether the thing they created is art. The case was about sculpture, and whether these sculptors who were copying sculptures were engaged in the act of creating art
BobbyJ: Just straight up copying?
GD: And basically, they said the sculptors were artists due to their skill despite the lack of creative merit. They weren't trying to like, sell them. It was creating replica sculptures in art class. Which would violate copyright (if they were selling them)
BobbyJ: So, like, if I do a cover of a BTS song and I sound identical to BTS, I'm still an artist . Hypothetically
GD: If you perform it with good enough skill, according to the US Supreme Court, it seems so
BobbyJ: Wait--they weren't selling them? Then what was the problem? How did it end up in the Supreme Court?
GD: I have not read the full case and it is extremely old, so hard to parse, but it seems the original sculptor did not want them making replicas in their art class and argued they were not allowed to do it because it wasn't real art
BobbyJ: Artists do studies all the time where they basically copy other artists' work in order to learn techniques
GD: And the supreme court said, no, they can do that. Which, exactly. This is a precedent that holds. If you do art and sell it, I can't copy it and also sell it. I can however copy it and use it for my own personal use (legally--that doesn't mean it's ethical, but legally)
BobbyJ: Well, it's the same idea as me copying a designer dress and making it myself and for myself because I don't want to spend $800 on a dress
GD: Like if someone made something on etsy that I wanted, and I didn't want to pay for it, I can legally copy it for myself. Right, the supreme court would define both of those things as artistic endeavors
BobbyJ: Huh. I mean--I don't disagree. I'm also not certain it needs to be termed as "art"
GD: Terming it "art" is how they protect it because art is a protected right under the constitution
BobbyJ: Wait--if art is also a protected right in the South Korean constitution, then that would imply that Z was able to change the constitution. Which is wild. How long did this process take?
(Also, assuming that Strictland was originally more like South Korea)
GD: We'd have to review the South Korean constitution. I don't know for sure that it is a right because I know nothing about their legal system. But because art is protected under our constitution, I have always defined art fairly broadly. So considering art being banned, is putting me in a different head space
BobbyJ: Article 22: All citizens shall enjoy freedom of learning and the arts.
GD: I'm now looking up how to make constitutional amendments in Korea
BobbyJ: I mean if they also had a National Assembly, he got the bill passed there
GD: It makes me think I've gone pretty far afield here

GD: I would like to note that "people enjoyed material affluence"

GD: And I am thinking of Maslow's hierarchy? Which I know is something we've also discussed a lot. But I am wondering, how many citizens weren't having their basic needs met when they agreed to give up art?
BobbyJ: Right. Is art part of our Maslow?
A lot probably. There had to have been problems in order for people to accept Z's proposal
GD: It's certainly easier to give up art if you're not currently able to eat
BobbyJ: Mingi comes to mind. Which I think is when we were discussing Maslow
GD: I have argued, and I will still argue it, that art should be part of human's basic needs. Like, it can make the rest of it all seem less grim for some people. But yeah, if you don't have a place to live, don't have any food, are struggling to just survive, giving up art for the promise of having your basic needs meet will be very appealing to many people
BobbyJ: I think I would argue that art belongs on the "love and belonging" tier which is about friends, family and connection. Art helps us connect with ourselves and others and the world around us. Like, you read a poem that perfectly describes how you feel. Or Ateez releases Turbulence and you swear they pulled the lyrics straight out of your soul
GD: Mmmmmm. . . and love and belonging aren't actually that low on the pyramid. High I mean. They're not that high--they're in the middle
BobbyJ: But you can't really fully reap the benefits of that tier if you are starving to death. And self-actualization is pretty meaningless if you aren't connected to other people in some way
GD: I spend a lot of time thinking about self-actualization which I forgot was even on this pyramid. I'm looking at the pyramid now, obviously
Yes. Art is love and belonging. I've decided you're right. So they've traded in love and belonging for the two things below it
In the next paragraph, they say that the songs had "the power to attract people" which I think is interesting
BobbyJ: The "various fields" is interesting to me. I think of people in different lines of work. Like scientists, teachers, lawyers, etc. But I'm not sure that's what it means
GD: I had long ago been confused about who the black pirates were and how they related to halaateez, but this line makes it pretty clear that halateez sort of inspired other people to get out of Z's control, and then those other people formed the black pirates
BobbyJ: Right. Halateez are "men wearing black fedora.” The Black Pirates is the name of the resistance
GD: Halateez "stimulated" them. Which, with what we know from Halazia, makes sense that the resistance seems to venerate them? Because they weren't necessarily a part of, and well known, to the resistance. They were merely the inspirational rallying cry. Does that make sense?
BobbyJ: Like Katniss. Not everyone knew her but they knew OF her
GD: Yes, and I'm interpreting Halazia as showing us what Strictland thought of halateez, not that halateez appear in the MV because I do not think they do.
Back to your point, what do you think people from various fields means if not different positions?
BobbyJ: I wondered if it meant more physical location. Although, if you have people with different skills and specialties, it would explain how the resistance is able to start fighting back
GD: Do you think it could mean something similar to stations too? Like, young, old, rich, poor, etc
BobbyJ: Could be.
GD: Skipping to the last line, we have Hwa sort of repeating a line similar to Hongjoong's in the first entry? What's important is getting back home. And they can't do that now
BobbyJ: Right. They haven't grasped their place in this story yet
GD: I read ahead because I couldn't stop myself and the jump is fascinating "we have to get back home" to "I won't come back home"
BobbyJ: I have also read ahead but a lot further
GD: Sounds right lol
BobbyJ: Because I became very curious about a different switch--how do they go from we need to get home to let's save this country
And I think I have an idea
GD: That is also the switch I was looking for
BobbyJ: This is way ahead, but after the Receiving of the Suits, in the very next chapter, San discovers the lost memories and feels "a surge of anger.” After that, Yeosang gets caught and all the drama happens with the museum and Yunho's brother. But I think that's the switch. I think it triggers San's empathy. And he spreads the agenda to the others
GD: I am very interested in what's happening with Yunho, but I suppose I need to save my interest for like 6 weeks. I do think we will need to cut this bible study in half
BobbyJ: Expected
GD: Well, this was a big page. It had a lot. We read some constitutions even

GD: I kept Hongjoong, but I do think it would've been wise to have a refresher

So, this week, I need to finish the line edit of this book. Which means I need to focus and stay motivated. I think the boy I want to guide me through it is Jongho. I need his professionalism in the face of challenges and his commitment to doing the things that he doesn't like as much because he knows that it is part of his job.
Also, it's hard to think about anything other than his Immortal Songs stage, so I may as well lean in

So. This is the last full week of classes. Which means a lot of work to finish off the semester. But, the list is so much shorter than it used to be. So that's something to be happy about.
But also, based on his condition today, I suspect that this might be the week I have to let go of Oliver. [Editor’s note: It was.]
And I think I need San. His ability to embody whatever moment he's in on stage. I don't fully understand how it translates, but I feel it's true
GD: Hmmm yes I think I understand, though I don't have the words either.
There's something about present-ness and humanity in there. I have always thought that San had a real ability to see the human-ness in others and to communicate the human-ness in himself. Which probably only makes sense to me.
BobbyJ: No, I think you're right. There's something extremely real about him
GD: I hope he helps guide you through what has the potential to be a very hard week
BobbyJ: Whatever happens, we keep moving forward. Which also feels very San.

2023.06.05 02:00 windycitybabes My 10 month old daughter was removed from my care at 3 months and I’ve been doing EVERYTHING in my power to get her back ever since. I love her more than I could ever put into words. This situation is killing me.
My daughter was suppose to be returned to me already but my trial keeps getting moved from February to April and now July. When my daughter was 2 months old, on October 4, I was getting treatment for my opioid use but the company DCFS set me up, let’s called them “L” company, with made a court date trying to get her removed from my care because I didn’t want to do one month inpatient treatment at this ghetto rehab, I tried going for one day and felt extremely uncomfortable, everyone constantly talked about getting high and the facility was so ghetto, it felt like being in jail, no phones, no visitors, no TV.. that’s beside the point. After a very intensive court hearing and interviews with multiple people from social services and DCFS, they all stated the baby was well cared for by me and was healthy/happy when they would visit our home which was several times a week, my DCFS caseworker even said she feels like there is no need to remove the child from my care. The judge ruled in my favor, which everyone was surprised since that usually doesn’t happen, and told me to keep working with “L” company and stay off the opioids. I started working with a doctor and drug counselor to wean me off the opioids and do methadone treatment. Two weeks later and two failed drug tests later, (I was getting tapered off opioids), L company found out my caseworker was on vacation so they made an emergency court date, didn’t inform me of it so I couldn’t defend myself, told the judge a bunch of half truths/half lies to get my baby removed from my care because I didn’t want to do a one month inpatient thing they were pushing for and they were on a power trip because they didn’t get their way the first time the judge ruled in my favor. They were against me from day one and didn’t care to help. They visited my home multiple times a week and if the baby was neglected or in danger, they definitely would have called the police immediately. This was a power trip about them getting their way and punishing me for not wanting to do one month inpatient. But that’s beside the point.. after court they lied and made it seem like she couldn’t be in the same building as me and didn’t place her with my mom since we live in the same building so they placed her with a foster family. They tried making it seem like the judge said that but the judge never said that, I later found out that was something they completely made up. So they placed her in foster care and from October up until now, I only get to see my daughter twice a week for 2 hours each time at a library. We had a discovery court hearing in January where the judge approved she could stay with relatives, but we didn’t tell my boyfriends parents what was going on out of guilt and shame, so we didn’t move her to stay with his parents. We thought we would have our trial in February and that she would be back home then which is why we didn’t inform his parents. After our court date kept getting moved, we finally told them and they agreed to take her and care for her until we get custody back. We have a new caseworker and our old caseworker didn’t put in the file they the judge approved her being moved with relatives so she’s still in the foster home, we’re trying to obtain court transcripts to prove the judge allowed her to be moved to stay with relatives.
These past 7.5 months have been hell. I love my daughter more than life itself. I’m sober and have done all the treatment that was required of me but my court date keeps getting moved because they have too many cases. I’ve spoken to professionals that have experience with my cases and they all said I am a clear example of what it means to get fucked over by the system. I don’t consider myself a victim though, I just want my baby back home already. I bring her clothes, food, medicine and toys to our visits. I bring two huge book bags filled with toys, books, snacks and a large blanket to each visit, I don’t drive so I take it on the train with me and I get weird looks sometimes but I don’t really care lol. I cherish the 4 hours I have with her a week, but I want to hold her in my arms all day long and wake up to her beautiful smile in the morning. I want to tell her how sorry I am for everything and that I will never let her down again.
I’ve been extremely depressed and can’t even go outside because I see constantly babies and their parents and think “that should be me and my baby girl”. I recently went and bought a bunch of summer clothes and adorable little bathing suites for her for when she gets to come home next month. I can’t wait to have my baby back home with me. I promise to spend the rest of my life making it up to her. I try to remind myself that when she’s back home, I’ll have the rest of our lives to build wonderful memories with her, but missing out on her first and most important year of life, and all the milestones that come with it, is something that can never be replaced.. I love my baby girl more than anything and I can’t wait to give her a beautiful, stable and bright future.

My dad [M34]and I [M16] had to move out of our house for a while due to an EPO my dads ex got on him and because she has a kid she was given 60 days to find somewhere new to live. After the 60 days she failed to show up in court this then gave her an extra 2 weeks at the house. The next time they had court she showed up and they gave her an additional 30 days. So i wait and wait and finally the 30 days is over, that is until they gave her another additional 30 days to get out. So again i wait and wait and this time she really had to leave the house. I was so excited to go home to my own room. When we originally had to leave we were in a rush to get out so i didn't get a chance to grab all of my stuff there was still a huge closet pretty much filled with clothes about 10k worth of them and about 4k in shoes and about 8k in other stuff like my computer, tv, ect. All of it was gone pretty much everything other than my bed and my desk were gone. Keep in mind she didn't buy any of this stuff other than my tv. She left the house destroyed and she also stole all of the furniture my dad bought all of his clothes and plenty more she also smashed my dad’s windshield and pretty much wrecked the rest if his car so now he’s driving my shitty $400 honda. I was devastated and tbh i really don't know what to do we tried reporting her and the cops said its a civil matter and we'll have to take her to civil court and basically hope to sue her which probably wont work out for us. I've been trying to find whatever work i can do to make a little bit of money but the search hasn't got me far this whole situation really fucking sucks. I just want mine and my dads stuff back and i wish my dad didn't have to worry about it.

Tldr: I have an 11yo who has severe adhd, (we think ODD also) and long history of emotional instability. He has been in and out of counseling since he was 8, we even tried a brief trial with some medication. The meds made the emotional issues much more severe. We currently monitor all TV, online activy, diet and sleep closely and this has shown some results.
Last year we pulled him out of public schools because he was coming home telling us alot about how he was speaking with a teacher about his gender identity and how he was gay. Let me be very clear. If he does end up to be gay he will not be insulted or shunned. But we did not feel this was appropriate conversation for schools to be having with a 9 year old (at the time). We attempted to speak to the schools but they expressed concerns about comments our son had made about being physically and sexually abused (to other kids). They went so far as to meet with him about his gender identity without us present or even aware of the meeting. We filed a complaint and they would not respond.
Homeschooling has shown great progress but there are still occasions, like today, where we are at a complete loss for how to deal with this. On the way home I tried to maintain my composure. But I did manage to ask him directly if ANYONE had ever touched him, or hurt him in anyway. He insisted no one ever had. I then asked why he would make a comment like that and he said "I dont know, its a good conversation starter." I tried and tried to explain the severity of the comments he was making but he just gave be this timid vacant stare.
I do not know what to do. We have 4 kids total and while we are not religious we are strict and always stress character and respect. We make every effort to make him feel loved and appreciated but he is extremely impulsive, a constant liar and at this point I really do not trust him with our younger child, or younger neice. In my opinion this is way beyond basic counseling. So much more in the past i could not fit in this. I am considering taking him to the hospital to be examined for abuse. Should I be more strict? Escalate to constant in person psychiatrist? Weve considered everything from boot camps for kids to equestrian therapy.
Family background. My wife and i have been together for 20 years. 4 kids total. I have a degree in developmental psychology and a back ground in working with kids. (Not currently). We have very few immediate family members. Our first daughter is a minister for youth and our oldest son is on naval intelligence.

Last year we pulled him out of public schools because he was coming home telling us alot about how he was speaking with a teacher about his gender identity and how he was gay. Let me be very clear. If he does end up to be gay he will not be insulted or shunned. But we did not feel this was appropriate conversation for schools to be having with a 9 year old (at the time). We attempted to speak to the schools but they expressed concerns about comments our son had made about being physically and sexually abused (to other kids). They went so far as to meet with him about his gender identity without us present or even aware of the meeting. We filed a complaint and they would not respond.
Homeschooling has shown great progress but there are still occasions, like today, where we are at a complete loss for how to deal with this. 2023.06.04 23:16 Simple_Awareness_195 Almost 8 months into practice and I am absolutely miserable…is it a bad idea to take 2-3 months off to address my mental health/figure out next steps?
I’ve been working as a prosecutor since passing the bar last October—I spent six months prosecuting felonies in a small rural town and made the switch to misdemeanors in a much busier county three weeks ago. I thought that switching over to misdemeanors would change how I feel about my field for the better, but it’s actually made me feel so much worse. I’m miserable. I hate every second of every hour I spend in my office. I especially hate the countless court appearances, incessant barrage of emails from OC asking for a dismissal/reduced sentence, being forced to subject myself to the lunacy of a judge who hasn’t the slightest aptitude for efficiently running a courtroom, and the bureaucracy that permeates every decision I make regarding the outcome of my cases. I hate the constant workload. I hate the constant stress. I especially loathe juries. And then there’s the expectation that I can try three jury cases back-to-back in a week and then be ready to argue 7 motions the following Monday without any support, guidance, or mentorship from my office. My office paired me with a trial partner who has zero experience prosecuting felonies or misdemeanors and I’m essentially charged with training them on how to do their job when I barely know how to do my own. I expressed my concern to my supervisors who responded by reminding me that making mistakes in the misdemeanor world is perfectly peachy because the stakes aren’t nearly as high compared to the world of felonies—I’m sorry but that’s just not an acceptable response as people’s lives and liberties are still on the line. The last few months have left a sour taste in my mouth for the profession as a whole and I just feel hopeless. My mental health is worse than it was in law school (which is saying something) and my days usually end with me crying on my way home from work. I’m having trouble sleeping. I don’t have time to devote to the hobbies and activities that used to make me happy. My relationship has suffered. I feel like a shell of my former self and I’m not sure what to do. I’m trying to hold on until I find my next job but I’m terrified I’ll end up in another shit situation out of sheer desperation to get out of my current one. A few friends have suggested that I take a couple months off to decompress and figure out my next steps. I’d like to be as intensional as possible moving forward with my job search, but I’ve already had two stints and I’m not even 8 months into practice. Is taking time off this early in my career a bad idea? The break would also be coinciding with a move to another part of the state, which I could use when explaining the gap to future employers (I just wouldn’t list my current job on my resume). I’m at a loss and can’t help but feel that I made a massive mistake by going into this profession. Words of advice are appreciated.

When I joined this Rankdown, I had three characters I really wanted to write for but of course that all depends on the way the cuts fall so I wasn't expecting much. Today however, I get to fulfill my first desired character as I get to cut Courtney Sithe, the indisputable lesser culprit of Case 2-3. From cutting the jurors of this case to a culprit, oh yeah I'm moving up! And for as much as I've written about this Case I honestly have a lot of appreciation for it. There's just two glaring blemishes in its execution. I've already talked about the case’s disappointment of a final jury trial. Now it's time to talk about the other thing, the surprise second culprit and the real killer of Odie Asman, Scotland Yard Coroner, Dr. Courtney Stevens Sithe.
This leads into the second trial day, starting with a Sholmes providing us with a little more information on the Professor. It’s at this point some shrewd players can read it and see a particular name in the documents but of course this information will be necessary later. We get Drebber’s testimony and after revealing the truth to the kinesis machine and its use in Asman’s murder, Ryunosuke concludes Drebber had to have an accomplice. Now who in the world could the accomplice be? Is it Harebrayne our defendant, that’d be a good twist. Maybe Madame Tusspells the Waxwork Museum curator since she’d have access to it and has been pulling some strings behind the scenes. No, instead it’s the only obvious character clumsily introduced to us halfway through the case. However this case has one last thorn to throw at us. Despite accusing Sithe after the very first testimony in this trial we have to go through two more segments and into the second half to finally get her on the stand. This is like Quercus Alba levels of frustrating to just let us get anywhere with the obviously suspicious character. First we have to do the only Summation Examination with the disappointment of a jury which helps her be even more suspect by tying her to the Professor and the Waxwork thanks to those documents. However, van Zieks instead wants to focus on the Waxwork by calling in Tusspells instead. At least the game has the courtesy to answer its reluctance to get Sithe on the stand.
Before the trial resumes, Sithe converses with the group in the lobby about Stronghart giving her immunity to testify. See they’ve pulled this kind of switcheroo before with Rise from the Ashes and getting Damon Gant to testify. Instead we have to use Lana to get around his right to remain silent. However, unlike Sithe, Gant has had almost a whole case to build up his character, and this diversion is just another facet to how smart of a culprit he truly is. Sithe meanwhile doesn’t have that buildup instead, the case is just cowardly hiding her until there is literally nowhere left to go. Although…that’s not entirely true. Remember how I said I do have a lot of appreciation for this case and that comes from the incredibly crafted story behind the night in Baclay Cemetary and the Enoch Drebber’s incident from ten-years-ago. While I may insinuate that we’re wasting time not confronting a very suspicious witness, I can’t say that this detour is completely unnecessary. It provides the means to tie Drebber to Sithe more concretely and shows a possible cover-up involving her and the Professor. This finally gets her to take the stand….where she’ll just stand there and be cold to us so we have to focus on Drebber and his backstory somemore. Courtney Sithe only finally speaks when we’ve done all the deduction and expositing for her and only does so to throw Drebber under the omnibus for masterminding Asman’s murder. This absolves Harebrayne, but Ryunosuke won’t let the trial end as he wants to confront Sithe directly about her involvement. After probably the most esoteric objection since Turnabout Big Top we finally reveal the truth that Asman survived Drebber’s initial murdder attempt and was permanently silenced by Dr. Courtney Sithe herself. Why you may ask? Well remember that ledger we had to examine back in her laboratory, well that was proof that Asman was blackmailing Sithe on her cover-up of the Professor just like Drebber. And with that Sithe finally breaks down as the true culprit and exits the court only to be seen again in prison as one of the few (or maybe only) culprits Ace Attorney’s ever shown in the game’s credits sequence, talking with her daughter, Maria Gorey.
Also let's touch on Sithe and Gorey's relationship for a second. I'd be hard pressed to say she does anything that motherly Considering she's only one of two mothers we actually meet in the game and Evie Vigil is a lot more motherly than she is. I know Ace Attorney is known for exaggerated characters but the brief encounter we have with Sithe and her daughter shows almost nothing about their relationship. The only conversation Sithe has with her is stopping her from cutting up Ryunosuke and Susato. Quite the parent there, Courtney; looks like Justine Courtney is the superior "Courtney" mother. The game doesn't even give Sithe the decency to think about her daughter during her breakdown, and confession. You'd think she'd mention that maybe all this secrecy and cover-up to keep her head forensics position would have been to provide for her daughter who is just as enthusiastic about the science, but nope, not a word. Sithe shows no physical on screen love for her daughter until the credits. Sure you could say that's how she just is as a person, cold and serious. However, that is similar to Athena's relationship with her mother Metis and while we never see physical motherly care, it's at least implied by her actions which lead Athena to resent her mother at first and get over her death. Maybe this is why Gorey so nonchalantly gets over her mother being incarcerated so easily.l, except we clearly see she has deep appreciation for her mother when you talk with her in 2-4. This is probably now stemming more into Gorey's character which will be discussed further when she is cut.
Now with Courtney Sithe’s actions all laid out in front of you, let’s analyze why she’s at least made it this far in the Rankdown. To be honest her concept as a character, that being the surprise true killer with Drebber just being the mastermind culprit is not a terrible idea in the slightest. Not only does her existence give us more insight on the night of the Professor’s execution which will be imperative for a certain witness next case, but her role as the killer provides excellent stakes to Drebber’s character. He not only took revenge on a man by coercing this woman to help him by threatening to reveal the truth but it turns out the victim had been doing the same thing to that woman all these years which is yet just another way Drebber becomes more like his victim, though those similarities will be touched on more when he is eventually cut (hopefully not anytime soon). The main problem is Courtney Sithe had no presence as a character for any of those involved in the case. She apparently has comradery with both Gregson and Sholmes but we barely see it besides the passing mention. Ryunosuke has no emotional attachment to her either which means he doesn't feel any struggle when it comes to accusing her or pursuing her for the truth and in turn neither does the player. The best thing I can say is she provides good development for van Zieks as he continues to go more and more against Stronghart’s orders, similar to Edgeworth with Gant. However, it’s not like Gant, it’s not even like Godot for continuing the trial to pursue the real killer, because Courtney Sithe does not have the character development to make you care if she’s really a killer or not. She’s there to provide more narrative to the Professor mystery and make Drebber fight as hard as he did, but honestly it makes you wonder if he would have fought like that even without her. Although that would make him a little more annoying to deal with, so I guess I can also thank Sithe for making sure Drebber was a good culprit; too bad she couldn’t be as well. But you know Sithe didn't have to be this disappointing character and lackluster twist killer. She had maybe the easiest potential to be a truly worthwhile character in Resolves with just a little tweak.
The very first thing you learn about her character is she's the coroner then what other character would make more sense to collect Shamspeare's "corpse." Instead of Gregson shooing Ryunosuke and company out of the room THIS is when we should have been introduced to Courtney Sithe. This reasoning stems perfectly from Memoir's place in the timeline and the game.
Let's start with how her being introduced here is beneficial to the characters. After being surprised by Shamspeare coming back to life, Sithe takes a bit of a back seat in the case but only because we're no longer dealing with a dead body. However, Ryunosuke is able to visit her laboratory and verify information on Shamspeare's poisoning. Confirming that is really was strychnine poison inside Shamspeare's system and there's no room for doubt even with the delayed effect. She proves to the group just how committed she is about forensics and that's really all she would be doing in this case. However, it's going to be a step in the right direction for Ryunosuke once 2-3 comes around. Sithe comes up again but now everyone knows of her plus they trust her expertise. This isn't just blind trust in some Stronghart flunky but confident trust in a past compatriot in their ability to analyze the victim's body. It now becomes an actual emotional dilemma for Ryunosuke to accuse her of being part of Asman's murder or even covering up the Professor's escape. Instead of that frustratingly stubborn refusal to take the stand, it now becomes reluctance that maybe Ryunosuke is wrong, and she really is innocent. Maybe instead of being extremely cold to Ryunosuke she is sterner and to the point similar to Stronghart playing it off of this incident at the Great Exhibition having negative effects on the future of forensic science. Still a little jarring to deal with but no longer incredibly suspicious. Or how about she acts maybe a little more motherly towards Ryunosuke. Instead of feeling threatening when confronting him, she's just sterner and more cautious. Showing how she could care for the wellbeing of the lawyer like she would her own daughter. Yeah, in the end she's lying to his face just to protect herself but what Ace Attorney character hasn't done that, on and off the stand.
Giving Sithe an appearance in 2-2 also provides a much more cohesive experience for the player too. Taking Resolve as its own game for a moment, recall the first case is in Japan so any characters introduced are merely for tutorial purposes (besides Jigoku). Next case however is Memoirs and we're introduced back to the London cast. We get Gregson again, with Sholmes yucking it up as usual; Soseki's also our defendant so it's business as usual. What better time for the game to introduce Courtney Sithe. Her appearance here, while minor, can lead the player to thinking she'll be a new important character in all the cases. She is on the cover art after all. It's making you believe this will be the new dynamic for this game. So now Return of the Great Departed Soul comes around, and we see Sithe again, but this time as a player, she's no longer jarring or incredibly suspicious. She's just making her seemingly normal case appearance for the game. This is when you bring in all these questions about her. In Memoirs she was your forensics friend but in Return her dark past is being uncovered. Not only will this make the pacing better for Sithe's character but will also make her reveal as a murderer hit harder. This person we've worked with before has now turned out to be a criminal, good thing that will never happen again……oh wait.
And speaking of tying narratives. By introducing Sithe in 2-2 and letting us visit her laboratory, you've actually given her laboratory its own character development. It's no longer a dark seedy looking autopsy room, but just another eccentric location. Starting in 2-2 as our introduction to its atmosphere but in this case neither it nor Sithe are suspicious so it's not going to feel off when we visit again next case. Now it's a semi-friendly environment, with just a new ledger to see and the introduction of Sithe's daughter. This makes the investigation of it not feel as important but is ultimately going to be a major part in the twist. Finally after 2-3 the laboratory gets a new caretaker in the form of Maria Gorey, as she transforms the atmosphere of the lab. Plus now Ryunosuke has actual emotional attachment to the lab. It was helpful in two cases now so it's a shame to see its owner be so corrupt. This gives the group an opportunity to help Gorey breathe new life into the lab. To move past Sithe's tenure together, and feel real emotional weight to their future partnership in the final case. The lab goes from a place of curiosity, to trust, to betrayal, to a new hope for the future. It all could've been possible if Sithe was allowed to be more present in this game. Alas she is not and here we are.

Also, just to settle this supposed naming convention plot-hole the order of the timeline would be as follows: Courtney Stevens marries a man whose last name is Gorey some 19+ years ago. They have a daughter. Then at most 9 years later Mr. Gorey dies, or they separate, and she retakes back her maiden name Stevens, but little Maria is old enough to still want to keep her first father’s last name. Courtney remains unmarried until after the Professor incident when sometime later she meets and marries her second husband Mr. Sithe. They are still married today with Maria being Courtney’s biological daughter and Mr. Sithe’s stepdaughter. Sorry, this didn’t really have anything to do with the cut; it just always bugged me that others were so confused by the naming differences.

A Dissection of Her Character
The game formally introduces Courtney Sithe in the second day Investigation of Case 2-3. We see her talking to Stronghart where he divulges even more on his reliance on forensic science, and from there we are granted access to Sithe’s laboratory. Not much is taken away from our interactions with her on this investigation segment as we are focused more on finding Enoch Drebber, thanks to Harebrayne’s information at the end of the trial. In fact, the only reason you are supposed to go here for the plot is to see her expense ledger and to get a quick cameo from her daughter. You can talk to her but she’s extremely cold and stand-offish not divulging too much of anything helpful. Now we’ve had characters like this in Ace Attorney before, with her exact attitude being similar to Dee Vasquez in Turnabout Samurai. Unfortunately, unlike Vasquez her appearance in the case comes out of nowhere for the Investigation. In Samurai’s trial prior, Sal Manella, let her identity slip and revealed that she was present the day of the incident, but quickly assured us that she was not able to access the crime scene. That is until Cody Hackins reveals where the crime scene truly was and now Vasquez is important, so it makes sense as a player to seek her out. Dr. Sithe is not mentioned once in the entire first half of this case. We get mentions of Drebber and the Professor so them being continuing threads in the second half make sense but to suddenly introduce a brand-new character this late in the case with so much coincidental relevance is just breakneck pacing in terms of character writing. In fact, we don’t even get that much introduction to her character in this Investigation as I pointed out before. The only thing of note is her final appearance to apprehend Drebber after confronting him in his workshop, yet again just interjecting herself into the plot suddenly and being the start of Ryunosuke’s persistence to tie her and Drebber together.This leads into the second trial day, starting with a Sholmes providing us with a little more information on the Professor. Although that would make him a little more annoying to deal with, so I guess I can also thank Sithe for making sure Drebber was a good culprit; too bad she couldn’t be as well. But you know Sithe didn't have to be this disappointing character and lackluster twist killer. She had maybe the easiest potential to be a truly worthwhile character in Resolves with just a little tweak.
One Simple Procedure
While this may not fix everything that is wrong with Courtney Sithe's character there is one fix that one: could have easily been implemented into the game with only a few tweaks to the story and two: would have provided her the screen time to have an impact….put her in Memoirs of the Clouded Kokoro!The very first thing you learn about her character is she's the coroner then what other character would make more sense to collect Shamspeare's "corpse." Instead of Gregson shooing Ryunosuke and company out of the room THIS is when we should have been introduced to Courtney Sithe. This reasoning stems perfectly from Memoir's place in the timeline and the game.
Let's start with how her being introduced here is beneficial to the characters. After being surprised by Shamspeare coming back to life, Sithe takes a bit of a back seat in the case but only because we're no longer dealing with a dead body. However, Ryunosuke is able to visit her laboratory and verify information on Shamspeare's poisoning. Confirming that is really was strychnine poison inside Shamspeare's system and there's no room for doubt even with the delayed effect. She proves to the group just how committed she is about forensics and that's really all she would be doing in this case. However, it's going to be a step in the right direction for Ryunosuke once 2-3 comes around. Sithe comes up again but now everyone knows of her plus they trust her expertise. This isn't just blind trust in some Stronghart flunky but confident trust in a past compatriot in their ability to analyze the victim's body. It now becomes an actual emotional dilemma for Ryunosuke to accuse her of being part of Asman's murder or even covering up the Professor's escape. Instead of that frustratingly stubborn refusal to take the stand, it now becomes reluctance that maybe Ryunosuke is wrong, and she really is innocent. Maybe instead of being extremely cold to Ryunosuke she is sterner and to the point similar to Stronghart playing it off of this incident at the Great Exhibition having negative effects on the future of forensic science. Still a little jarring to deal with but no longer incredibly suspicious. Or how about she acts maybe a little more motherly towards Ryunosuke. Instead of feeling threatening when confronting him, she's just sterner and more cautious. Showing how she could care for the wellbeing of the lawyer like she would her own daughter. Yeah, in the end she's lying to his face just to protect herself but what Ace Attorney character hasn't done that, on and off the stand.
Giving Sithe an appearance in 2-2 also provides a much more cohesive experience for the player too. Taking Resolve as its own game for a moment, recall the first case is in Japan so any characters introduced are merely for tutorial purposes (besides Jigoku). Next case however is Memoirs and we're introduced back to the London cast. We get Gregson again, with Sholmes yucking it up as usual; Soseki's also our defendant so it's business as usual. What better time for the game to introduce Courtney Sithe. Her appearance here, while minor, can lead the player to thinking she'll be a new important character in all the cases. She is on the cover art after all. It's making you believe this will be the new dynamic for this game. So now Return of the Great Departed Soul comes around, and we see Sithe again, but this time as a player, she's no longer jarring or incredibly suspicious. She's just making her seemingly normal case appearance for the game. This is when you bring in all these questions about her. In Memoirs she was your forensics friend but in Return her dark past is being uncovered. Not only will this make the pacing better for Sithe's character but will also make her reveal as a murderer hit harder. This person we've worked with before has now turned out to be a criminal, good thing that will never happen again……oh wait.
And speaking of tying narratives. By introducing Sithe in 2-2 and letting us visit her laboratory, you've actually given her laboratory its own character development. It's no longer a dark seedy looking autopsy room, but just another eccentric location. Starting in 2-2 as our introduction to its atmosphere but in this case neither it nor Sithe are suspicious so it's not going to feel off when we visit again next case. Now it's a semi-friendly environment, with just a new ledger to see and the introduction of Sithe's daughter. This makes the investigation of it not feel as important but is ultimately going to be a major part in the twist. Finally after 2-3 the laboratory gets a new caretaker in the form of Maria Gorey, as she transforms the atmosphere of the lab. Plus now Ryunosuke has actual emotional attachment to the lab. It was helpful in two cases now so it's a shame to see its owner be so corrupt. This gives the group an opportunity to help Gorey breathe new life into the lab. To move past Sithe's tenure together, and feel real emotional weight to their future partnership in the final case. The lab goes from a place of curiosity, to trust, to betrayal, to a new hope for the future. It all could've been possible if Sithe was allowed to be more present in this game. Alas she is not and here we are.
The Conclusive Findings
It would be a lie to say Dr. Courtney Sithe is the worst killer in the Chronicles Duology although she is the first killer to be cut besides Klint. Still, she is far from it because she at least always had potential to be great. To be there on the witness stand alongside Enoch Drebber in a truly memorable double culprit case. Not only that but she had potential to really drive home the main themes of Resolve. The call for vigilantism and the betrayal of those you could rely on. She didn’t need much, just some time to interact with the cast and allow the player to appreciate her screen presence in a prior case. That isn’t even touching on her fantastic design that not only would have greatly contrasted the wackiness of Shamspeare’s outfit but also would have not made it so obvious when the tall pale Bayonetta knock-off witch doctor is partnered with the tall pale steampunk android man in the next case. But that’s all just wishful thinking as this is one game autopsy that won’t be updated..

Also, just to settle this supposed naming convention plot-hole the order of the timeline would be as follows: Courtney Stevens marries a man whose last name is Gorey some 19+ years ago. They have a daughter. Then at most 9 years later Mr. Gorey dies, or they separate, and she retakes back her maiden name Stevens, but little Maria is old enough to still want to keep her first father’s last name. Courtney remains unmarried until after the Professor incident when sometime later she meets and marries her second husband Mr. Sithe. They are still married today with Maria being Courtney’s biological daughter and Mr. Sithe’s stepdaughter. Sorry, this didn’t really have anything to do with the cut; it just always bugged me that others were so confused by the naming differences.

Hello, new fubo user here on a free trial. On apple’s website, they said that you can use siri to tune into channels, control stuff, etc on an Apple TV. When I try to do this, it tries to force a different provider (Philo) down my throat. Has this functionality been removed, or am I doing something wrong?
