I (M24) live in Auckland, New Zealand where open communal showers seem to be very rare. The most common shower setup in NZ seems to be either fully enclosed cubicles, or showers with partitions and no doors. Recently, however, I came across a proper open shower room. Here's how I eventually built up to using it.
For a while now I've been swimming with a local club, where our pool locker room has a line of showers with partitions in between them and no doors. This one also has a large mirror on the opposite wall so you can see the people you're showering next to.
When I first joined the club, I just showered in my swim trunks and got changed facing the corner of the changing room. I noticed that most of the gym goers (there's a gym at this pool too) seem to shower with shorts on, and changed under a towel. Most of the swimmers however would strip naked in the shower, and walk around the locker room nude taking their time to change without anyone caring. I admired their confidence and wanted to do the same to properly wash the chlorine off myself, but was worried about things like getting a boner. I also felt self-conscious that most of the other guys seemed older and hairier, whereas I don't have much body hair and I trim my pubes short.
There was however a french guy around my age who would occasionally swim with the club. He was smooth-shaven and would walk around the locker room fully nude chatting with everyone. After a month of swimming here, seeing this guy gave me the courage to try stripping down in the shower. I initially felt nervous because the people in the showers next to me could see me in the mirror on the opposite wall, but they also took off their shorts and it felt normal. It was amazing being able to both wash properly and rinse my trunks. I grabbed my towel which was hung on the shower partition and wrapped it around me while I walked back to my clothes. It's not a proper open communal shower, but I still felt proud of myself nonetheless.
I'm still not as confident as some others as I walk around in a towel and face the wall while changing. Sometimes in the shower, I get a random boner out of nowhere, but can just face the wall in the shower and no one can see.

I was super nervous about showering naked there as I've never been in one with no partitions before, so there's no hiding an unwanted boner. There were also no towel hooks in the shower room, so you have to walk nude in front of everyone to grab your towel. Despite this, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get over my fears and just do it as the other swimmers do. After my swim, I stood in the shower room by myself and mustered up the courage to take my swim trunks off. It felt very exposing yet freeing, completely different from the partitioned showers at my usual pool. One other guy walked into the showers but he kept his shorts on. It felt great to shower in a big open space, but I still faced the wall most of the time and started to worry about getting a boner, and ended up getting out pretty fast.
Despite this I'm very happy I did it and will hopefully get more relaxed each time I go there. I saw plenty of others using this shower naked, so hopefully, I'll build up the confidence to join them without thinking about it.

This is a revenge story told from the other side- I was the target of the revenge. So here we go:
I’m an Israeli programmer working in Germany and also a semi-pro musician.
In one of my bands, I’ve met a divorced German woman.
At the time she had an affair with a married man, who was planning to get divorced, once he hides most of his property from his wife.
They've rented an apartment together and she waited there for half a year, for him to give his wife notice. She was frustrated and impatient.
At that exact time, I succeeded to seduce her, and we were having sex at the apartment of her and her lover, where he could enter at any moment (i.e. he told her he was at home with his wife).
I also got to know her kids and treated them lovingly as if they were mine.

One gig later, the band shot a professional video. They’ve published the edited video and I was edited out of it. They also didn’t pay me for the gig.
The next day she called me to shout at me. She told me that she and the band members are going to start a fake rumor that I am insane, and this is why I invented this affair.
I told her she must be crazy to deny the affair when I've still got the chat logs, our photo together as a couple and her nude photos.
Shortly after that I've left both bands, as I've felt this has anyhow ended, so better have the upper hand and leave first.
So, was this the end?
Not really.
Two years later, the epidemic hit, and I've tried to build some kind of a music project.

After many of hours with the female singer, her mother, the male singer-
-they've staged a well-rehearsed kerfuffle.
They've pretended I was mentally insane. The man said he is mentally ill, he was hospitalized in an institution for a long time! So OBVIOUSLY he's an expert, and as an expert he determined I'm mentally ill.
Didn't you know? If a person is crazy and hospitalized in an institution for a long time, obviously the benefit is- he earns a psychiater's diploma! Hilarious.
The two women started to scream in panic that I was going to attack them physically (nothing happened in the room to justify the screaming).
I had to leave the place.
They've stole the song we've written together, whose melody, chords and drum beat came from me.
The female singer tried to force me to leave, abandoning my expensive music gear behind. I retrieved it anyway.
Later on, I saw in social media, all the signs that these people were celebrating that the revenge operation was carried out successfully.
Apparently, it was a big shame for a German woman to be outed for having sex with Jew, so this revenge was in order.
The crazy singer guy who planned it all, also synchronized this with the radio release of his song about revenge, wink wink.
On social media, I saw how my former lover thanks the dude for the perfectly executed revenge.
Not that it was explicitly admitted- they were just celebrating something that wasn't explained anywhere but everybody seemed to know exactly what the occasion was.
Several years later, I am still unable to play with any band in the whole area, as people are afraid cause I'm "crazy". No way to prove this, but nevertheless true.
Naturally there are professionals working with me to bring these people to justice.

I just need to vent so badly because I'm in such a dark hole and I want nothing more than reach out to him and I would do anything to be in his arms right now.
So for context this all started about a year ago. I started a new job and about two months later my manager and I got close he basically came on to me via text and was extremely persistent. He is nearly twice my age btw not sure if this is important but yea I seem to not mind much older men...
Anyways things where ok at first we got along so well. Things took a turn when I wanted to stop being interment and just be more friends because the age gap and power dynamics at work. He also went on my computer one time at work and stole my personal photos (nudes) that I had sent to some guy a while before I even started at this new job.
When we would argue he would use it as leverage just sleep with me 5 more times and I will delete them he would say. Or again more "threats" like if my photos got out it wouldn't be on him. He always made me false promises like just get me through this month then I promise we will be friends for life. Or just 5 more times and io be your friend for life ? What's five more times for a life time of friendship? Just get me through the summer, winter sucks let's just get through winter. And that when on for about a year constant highs and lows we would have horrible heated screaming matches and then he would always message me and call me non stop to try to "fix" things. And when we weren't fighting there's almost always non stop communication.
Things got really bad when he started bringing the arguments into work. He would text me all throughout the day if we where arguing trying to convince me of all the reasons I need to be intimate with him and how badly he needed me and wanted me. He was very sexual and would constantly talk about sexual stuff and sexualized me and I felt very wanted by him but it also was too much. He would make me very uncomfortable at work either harassing me with text to convince me to sleep with him or him texting me cruel aweful things basically calling me a whore and making me feel a shamed of past sexual partners. ( Which I know he would do cause he knew it pissed me off) he knew exactly what "triggered* me or got under my skin and anything I had ever confided in him as a friend was used against me.
When we where in an argument fase at work he would go around telling people all about my sex life and paint me out to be a huge slut. ( I'm not ) Mind you he has told me he's slept with over 200 women (according to him) cheated on his wife and ex gf. An over all bad history with women it seems but he is an extreme smooth talked and can talk his way into people pants it seems.
One last thing, he basically needed and expected sex from me once a week so every weekend pretty much and I hated it. I wanted to just be friends and if things got sexual naturally then fine whatever. But he basically refused to be kind or nice to me if he wasn't getting the full package. I think a part of the lack of desire for sex with him was partly because he could only orgasm through BJ and it was just kind of exhausting. Even if I wasn't feeling well like sick he would push and push and push for a bj like I don't think he truly cared about how I felt. Sexual needs clearly were too priority. The whole environment at work feels like a trigger I just want to see him, I want him to come back to me. Even tho I was so miserable and unhappy and I wanted him to leave me alone.
I didn't want him out of my life like this but I didn't know what else to do. Work was so ahirry and now I just feel so much worse. I think I need to quit but I'd feel guilty because it would out more stress on everyone but I'm mentally so broken it's scarry.
I don't know that anyone else has ever been in this situation and I just feel so alone and broken and the only person I want is him. I think it's a trauma bond I feel like I need him like a drug. I want to know if he's okay, what he's doing and what he's thinking. I want him to mis me as much as I do I hope he does. I hope he realizes what he's done but I gueanteed he thinks he is the victim in ll of this.
