Canada's population increased by more than a million people for the first time in history in 2022, almost entirely due to a surge in immigrants and temporary residents, Statistics Canada said on Wednesday.
Total population grew by a record 1.05 million people to 39.57 million in the 12 months to Jan. 1, 2023, and about 96 per cent of the rise was due to international migration, the statistics agency said.
The increase, which helped Canada retain its position as the fastest-growing G7 country, translates to a population growth rate of 2.7 per cent and such a rate would lead to the population doubling in about 26 years, the agency said.
Canada depends on immigration to drive its economy and support an aging population, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Liberal government sharply ramped up immigration since taking power in 2015.
In 2022, Canada welcomed 437,180 immigrants and the number of non-permanent residents increased by a net 607,782 people.
More than half of recent immigrants - 748,120 of the 1.3 million admitted to Canada between 2016 and 2021 - entered Canada under the economic category, according to Statistics Canada.

Disclaimer: I'm new to machine/deep learning and I'm trying to look into object detection.
I've been looking into YOLO for object detection in images, but I have some doubts. In every tutorial I watch, you need to clone some specific github directory (which was probably forked from somewhere) and run basically almost everything in the anaconda prompt window. This was not the case for SSD or R-CNN, as I could find examples of those being codes in e.g. Jupyter Notebook.
I feel like YOLO doesn't really require coding in python at all and I feel like a fraud if I'm going to use it because I'm basically just cloning some Github directory of a random person and then running it? Am I missing something or am I totally wrong about certain parts?

Hey folks, my current PC is a build from 2013 and it's time for an upgrade. All of the activities I mention below are at a hobbyist level so I don't need bleeding-edge performance. But hopefully I can get some great performance for the budget.
If helpful as a reference, a while back I did ask for a build here, but since then I decided that I want to use 1440p resolution instead of 4K. Not sure if the previous suggestions still apply.
If I'm asking for too much for this price point, please let me know a more realistic budget. Thanks in advance!

- Video games (the most demanding title I'm currently playing would be Cyberpunk 2077, otherwise other game titles I tend to enjoy/want to play are Stellaris, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Path of Exile, Mass Effect, God of War, GTA, Final Fantasy 16, Starfield...basically strategy/sims, RPGs, action games)
- VR (I have an Oculus Quest 2 and would like to be able to link with my PC for virtual desktop as well as games, such as Skyrim VR and Echo - may get a better VR headset at some point too)
- Video and photo editing (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Creative Cloud apps)

- I'm aiming for $1500. If an increase of, say, $250 would somehow make a strong difference, I'd consider it. But $1500 would be ideal.

- Mid-sized tower.
- Preferably as silent as possible and with good cable management and airflow.

- The tower will be hidden so I don't need a window or lighting (but if it's unavoidable, not a problem either).
- If the front of the case could have some USB ports, that would be helpful.

So I just bought Warhammer and go to play it. Play a little bit of the campaign then say ok lets play some multiplayer. I load in fine go to battle one of the AI and it crashes around 95%(ish) percent. Tell my buddy ok let me load it up crashes again and again and again. same thing every time. I've updated all my graphics drivers and my windows. Reinstalling Warhammer right now but from what I've read this will lead to nothing. Please if you know a fix comment.

The draft environment being a bit weaker was challenging, the themes and flavor was nice (elder dragons, elementals, cavaliers cycle, etc). I miss it. I feel they try to appeal to broader audience with DnD, Warhammer, LotR, etc).
I likes a lot Dominaria remastered, MH one and two. I think the higher power and higher cost chills my experience.

I have been using my HDD as my main boot for the past five years, after installing a new M.2 SSD two days ago, I now have gone from a lengthy 3-minute boot to a sub-5-second boot. Yes, it is indeed quite incredible.
However, if you have read my misfortunes in the previous letter you will know that I am starting from scratch, and am reinstalling everything.
Because my original HDD had all the files I needed, cloning to my SSD took around two hours, and with many failed and unforgiving moments, I have learned to separate, or "partition" my OS in another drive in the same SSD. To help me in migration for anything I plan to do in the future.
On paper, this is a very clean setup, and I won't be distracted by the numerous folders windows creates upon installation. And with a 50 GB total allocation made for the OS in its own partition, I figured I would not have to worry about it.
But I was wrong, life is not simple, and challenges find a way. Upon installing many programs, I found that programs like Adobe would stubbornly install themselves in the folder "users" which is located in the OS partition without even asking.
This is exactly what I had feared, files finding their way into the "employees only" section of my digital library, undetected, and unable to be organized properly.
I bring forth two main questions, in the hopes of receiving answers, or perhaps tips, on this case. Is there a way to restrict files from writing in my OS partition? and what are your own methods for organizing your files and making your drives easier to read?
