Hi everyone. I was playing golf today at San clamente municipal, and I noticed on hole 7 a distressed bird squawking really loud from a large tree. It was odd so I looked through my range finder and I was an adolescent hawk by itself. I kept playing till I got to hole 11 and saw another grounded hawk on the fairway. It didn’t fly away when I drove by him. I saw some feathers on the ground near by. I walked up and he was wounded on his right wing. Looks like he got hit with a ball or errant golf shot.
I called the pro shop to notify them and they said they can’t do anything. My girlfriend called animal control and they were closed because it was after 5.
Upon finishing my round I talked to the outside service about it. They said he has been out here for 2 days now. He said they can’t do anything about it.
Does anyone have any suggestions of who can be contacted. Maybe an animal rehab place. I don’t think local San clamente animal control will do anything. It’s really sad they are just going to let it die of starvation and it’s young child as well. It’s really bothering me.

I'm trying to design a character and my main reference is Lee Leejung of YGX dance crew, but I don't want to rely too heavily on her because I want to make sure the design is unique. However, I can't think of anyone with a similar face shape/jawline — long but with a stronger almost rounded jawline rather than the more common diamond or V shape, sort of like the end of a pill.
I've always found Leejung to be super pretty but she's also very cool, I want a strong and athletic look in addition to idol visuals which is why I'm curious about this face shape specifically. The only people who come to mind right now are maybe Seulgi and possibly Leeseo, but I can't think of anyone that fits super closely.

My daughter has idiopathic hypersomnia. The treatment for IH is the same as for narcolepsy. CVS is denying the claim for the prescription that was deemed medically necessary last year when they initially denied the claim. I was told it would stay on file. The doctors’ office is basically done dealing with the pharmacy and insurance after the latest denial and have not filed an appeal. I have to file the appeal, which is fine, and after speaking with CVS pharmacy benefits, I understand why the doc is done.
CVS is denying the claim because the medication is only approved for three conditions- narcolepsy, OSA, and shift work sleep disorders. They won’t even fill it. I explained that IH and narcolepsy are very similar and the medication my daughter takes is listed by Mayo, Cleveland, and virtually every reputable provider as the first choice in treatment. They repeated that she didn’t have the three conditions listed and was not eligible for the medication. I asked what meds were approved for IH. The first option she listed was the brand name for the generic drug that my daughter was being prescribed and they were denying. Additionally, I explained that the 3 medications mentioned were all the same as the denied drug and the last option was rohypnol, which cannot be filled at a pharmacy.
CVS told me to submit an appeal, but submitting an appeal can still mean it is denied. Or we can repeat the testing and hope that she has one more episode of REM in one of the sleep stages so that she can be diagnosed with narcolepsy instead of IH. The algorithm is denying conditions and medications that were nearly identical. I assumed that speaking to a person meant critical thinking skills would make it obvious how ridiculous the whole thing was. Nope. They still didn’t understand.
CVS told me that the doctor should just file the appeal. I explained that they last year, all of the information was on file, and appealing a medically necessary condition every year was not part of their duty once they have already proven the medication is medically necessary, it is alifelong incurable condition, that requires no additional testing. CVS wanted to know how they were supposed to know my daughter still needed the medication. I told her that the prescription is how they know she still needs it.
I think pharmacy benefits have gotten so used to just denying everything and using it as a means of security. My insurance was not very happy to hear that CVS suggested solution was to repeat an expensive round of testing to justify paying for a generic drug that is standard in the treatment of a diagnosed condition. I got a Good RX coupon and since it is for Meijer, at least I am not giving CVS any more money than I already am. Sleep disorders tend to run in families. I could not figure out why my last refill for the same medication was only 15 days. It has something to do with the number of pills they will cover in a 30 day time period. I have been trying to stretch my 15 day prescription to 30 days, my daughter hasn’t had hers for a week. We are hella sleepy in this house right now. I just don’t understand how insurance is able to dictate the care that we receive to this extent. We see the doctor every 6 months so that the prescription can be refilled and they can prove to the feds that they aren’t writing fraudulent prescriptions. Can I file a complaint with someone in my state or federally?

Hi everyone,
I'm 26 and I lost my dad in January of this year to complications from advanced parkinsons. He was diagnosed with YOPD at the age of 30, just after I was born. He would have been 55 this March.
I'm feeling really lost in my grief. In reality I've been grieving him for years, before he even died.
Just before the pandemic, his condition started to decline really rapidly and continued like that for 2 years. He was regularly in and out of hospital due to complications. But he refused to face the reality of his situation, and unfortunately didnt make any plans for his present or future care which left our family in a really difficult situation, financially and emotionally.
We all tried really hard to get him to see the situation for what it was - he was living on his own in a 3rd story flat with no elevator, he barely left the house towards the end and wasn't able to look after himself. He couldnt afford to pay for a private carer, and refused to go into an NHS home. He died at home on his own earlier this year, his death was ruled as due to advanced parkinsons.
I tried to live with him to help him last year, but it was an unsustainable relationship. He was waking me up 3-4 times a night every night to help him get off the toilet, get out of bed, take pills etc. I couldn't take it in the end, not just the physical aspects of the care but also the mental side of everything. I couldn't bear to watch him struggle, and he was in so much pain all of the time (he had severe sciatica that was essentially incurable due to the parkinsons). He would cry to me often and apologise for being a burden, and that he was really scared, and really tired of being alive. After a couple of months, I had a really severe mental breakdown (I struggle with depression as well). He was so supportive when I told him that I couldnt stay, and told me that he just wanted me to be ok.
My relationship with him towards the end was really complicated, but I always loved him and he was always my biggest supporter, and did everything he could to make sure I was ok despite his situation.
I feel so much guilt for not being strong enough to be able to look after him. I know that in reality it's not my fault as his condition at the time warranted round the clock, professional care. But i just feel so bad that I wasn't there with him when he died, I wish he wasn't alone. I just wish he would have faced his reality sooner, and let us help him arrange the care that he desperately needed. He could have had so many more years.
He was truly amazing, his optimism despite his situation was maddening and he always managed to see the silver linings in life. I don't understand how he lived so many years in so much pain. He was intelligent, kind and had the creativity and imagination of a madman. I hope that I carry his strength with me.
I miss my dad so much, and I'm just not sure where to turn to. The reality of him not being here is really starting to settle in. Not sure what Im looking for by psoting this message, but Im just hoping that maybe I feel less alone.

I'm not sure if this is a uniquely American healthcare experience, but the degree to which I have to argue, debate, and prove to doctors that I should get treatment for something that is destroying my life, it induces a debilitating level of rage within me.
(For context, I've had cystic acne since I was 14. Tried every treatment, and then eventually did my first round of accutane at 18. Worked well, but 17 years later, the cystic acne steadily has come back for me.)
My primary care wouldn't give me a derm referral for my acne and prescribed me a topical I've already used before that doesn't work. So I made an appointment to see a different primary care doctor, and said I wanted to see a dermatologist to check all my moles for skin cancer. They said that isn't necessary unless you have a history of skin cancer in the family. So then I lied and said yes we do.
Got the derm referral. Make an appointment for moles to be checked, but also stated need to be seen for acne. Filled out history of every acne treatment I've had in my life, the severity, for how long, and had to upload pictures of all my cysts.
See the dermatologist. Next I have to re-explain all my acne problems and severity with the nurse assistant that comes in, and debate with them why I'm interested in a 2nd round of accutane. Then the dermatologist comes in, asks the exact same questions, and then the original nursing assistant and 2nd one are in the room just standing there in audience while I debate with the dermatologist. They have all my medical history, every topical, pill, and tablet I've ever taken. You don't need to ask me this.
Dermatologist: "Hmm. but your acne is quite mild" (With them and 2 assistants just standing watching me) Me: "I mean, do you see this 3 cysts on my lower mouth that have just healed, all this scarring, plus this one on my nose from yesterday, and then this cyst on my cheek that started today?" Dermatologist: "Yes, I do." Me: [wtf]
The dermatologist was still on the fence, and then further had to argue to them. "Look I have things I need to do in life. I was supposed to X, Y, and Z a month ago, and then I got a cyst on my lower lip that was the size of a nickel and wouldn't heal for 2 weeks. I can't do this anymore. Something needs to happen."
Then they tried to screen me out by asking me if I have ever felt any anxiety or depression. Are you in good faith asking me, someone who clearly has cysts on their face, whether I've ever felt any anxiety or depression in my life? I looked them in the eye and lied and said no.
Whatever. I felt like I had to bulldog the situation and the derm approved me for a 2nd round of accutane. Mission accomplished I guess, but jesus did I want to light something on fire for what they put me through.

Tip from my experience: Whenever you have an outbreak or a cyst, or anything, take photos of it all, so that when you see a dermatologist you can show them. Otherwise if you are having an alright skin day the time of the appointment, they won't believe you.

First/Previous
As the first rays of morning light peeked through the tattered blinds, Jack slowly opened his eyes, groaning slightly as he rolled out of bed on reflex and began his pushups. Lowering himself down and pressing himself up again like it was second nature to him, Jack slowly woke up and took stock. He felt a little more relaxed and well rested than normal, an unusual but welcome change from the nightmares and poor sleep he had gotten used to. But whether it was his time spent relaxing and watching films with the others the previous night or just sheer exhaustion finally catching up to him, he wasn't sure.
Regardless, Jack checked the time, the system of which Sephy had gone through with him a few times. Measurement systems were quite finicky here, but after just over a week of waking up in similar fashion Jack saw that the numbers looked similar to all the previous nights, and when he stopped a moment to listen, he couldn’t hear anybody else moving about. Even Dante was still asleep, and Jack was pleased to see that the ‘dog’ was breathing a bit better. Whatever Rayle had done seemed to work, though he’d still search for the nearest vet just in case Dante got this way again.
Tiptoeing across the room Jack quickly changed into some exercise clothes and grabbed his towel from where it was dumped on the floor from the previous day. This was a routine he had very rarely ever compromised on ever since he arrived in this realm, and like clockwork Jack tiptoed down the stairs and poured himself a drink of cold tea from the pot, downing it quickly before carefully opening the door to outside. Rayle was still asleep, resting their body on the natural ground to take advantage of their Druidic powers to slowly heal as they slept, but the two opossum-like Screediips, Thulu and Stega poked their heads out nervously to stare at Jack as he crept his way down the long-abandoned ancient road to the district wall. The only sounds were a few small birds fluttering well above him, and the soft thuds of his feet dragging themselves to the starting line.
Pulling out the display for his commlink was always a hassle for Jack ever time he tried, but he was getting better, correctly selecting the music app, clicking on the ‘workout’ tag and hitting ‘random’ with only a few errors or missclicks. As the heavy bass kicked in, beginning a strange combination of what sounding like a cross between death metal and yodelling, Jack started his warm up, his legs feeling stiff and barely functional until he got into a rhythm and soon began running without a problem.
It was about an hour before Jack wound down, seeing that Rayle had gotten up from their spot and left the back door open. So, finishing his workout he lightly jogged over, slipping through and seeing Nika awkwardly make another pot of tea.
“Wish I could have joined you.” The Kizun sighed. “Still sore but at least I’ll be able to come to school with you guys, no way am I gonna risk getting in detention, so it looks like I’m gonna try and tough it out.”
“Hey, you shouldn’t feel pressured to go if you’re hurt!” Jack cautioned. “We know a bunch of people that definitely won’t be able to come in, surely they won’t hand out detentions after a crisis?”
“They have before.” Rayle shook their head as they handed Jack a mug of water, which he downed greedily. “Glad I woke up in time, if it wasn’t for that Lifestone of yours I would probably still be in a coma.”
“Yeah about that.” that reminded Jack. “How are you holding up Rayle?”
“Much better!” The Squa’Kaar smiled nervously. “My connection to the earth is much stronger here, so I’ll be fine! I feel bad for those that lack the ability though…”
“Yeah, if it’s all the same with you Rayle I prefer sleeping in my room instead of freezing my ass outside.” Nika snorted.
“We always have the Lesser Lifestone?” Jack questioned. “Are you able to use that and get better?”
“You have a point.” Nika smiled. “But I’ll wait for the others to get up first, they probably need it more.”
“Doubt it.” Jack shrugged, “You’re hurt the most, you might as well get patched up otherwise you’re gonna have me worried all day.”
“Alright.” Nika smiled unsurely. “I’ll talk to Alora, you go have a shower before you stink up the place!”
“Heh, alright.” Jack sighed as he quickly made his way upstairs.
Once he left, Nika immediately reached into one of her pockets, frantically pulling out her bottle of pills. Quickly taking one, she gave the bottle a shake and sighed when she realised she was getting low. She had been taking pills to throw off her heat cycle more regularly now Jack was living with them, and times like these when he was either helping her with something or just straight up worried about her really set her off.
“You should stop fighting it.” Rayle pointed out from where she was curled up on the sofa sipping her tea, still wrapped up in the blanket they had taken outside while Nika gave her a look. “It’s not healthy to fight against an important aspect of your nature, why not just give in to it?”
“No.” Nika sighed before elaborating. “I mean, yeah I’ve thought about it but I honestly don’t think I’m anywhere near ready for that kind of stuff yet and I don’t think Jack is either. Besides, it’s not debilitating and the pills usually last a while. It’s just one of those things I’ll need to get used to.”
“Will it have any long-term effects?” the Druid asked curiously.
“Um…I don’t think so.” Nika shrugged. “My people have been using these since before our recorded history, ever since we no longer needed to rapidly spread, and there doesn’t seem to be any kind of built-up resistance over the generations. Buying these is the real problem though. My people are quite spread out amongst known and probably unknown space too, but finding a regular supplier can be a real pain sometimes even on the Ring. I’ll be alright. I usually am...”

Jack’s body was still glistening with sweat from his run as he entered the bathroom and locked the door. Quickly shucking his clothes off and turning on the water, he waited for it to warm up a little bit before stepping in. As the hot water cascaded down his body he let out a sigh of relief as he washed away the grime, before leaning back against the cubicle wall and allowing a moment of relaxation before he knew he would have to walk into whatever shitshow awaited the group today.
He was brought back from his thoughts when the shower made a slight stuttering sound, prompting him to quickly turn it off and wrap a towel around him. Walking over to the sink and looking into the old, cracked mirror, he inspected the telltale signs of hair growing above his top lip. He hadn’t really been taught to shave before his arrival, because he hadn’t needed to learn yet, but Jack didn’t really like the idea of starting to grow a moustache or a beard at his age. Reaching into the bag he brought in with him he pulled out a knife he had been using for this purpose for the last week or so, which he kept reasonably sharpened. Though he didn’t know if there was any shaving cream or anything sold that could help protect his skin and make the process a little quicker and less stress-free, he still proceeded regardless, carefully running the blade up and down…
He quickly looked around as without warning, the door opened to reveal Vanya, who looked at him in a panic as he nicked his skin with the blade.
“No!” She yelled as she rushed over to him. “What are you doing!”
“Woah wait! Vanya! Calm down!” Jack tried to wave her off in confusion as she grabbed the arm holding the knife, allowing her to take it from him as he just stood there baffled, as she cast a quick healing spell on him.
Wait? Did she think he was…
“Hey.” Jack calmly put his hands on Vanya’s trembling arms. “That wasn’t what you thought it was, I’m not checking out just yet.”
‘At least never like that, since I’m a fucking coward…’ Jack thought to himself. “You okay Vanya?”
“Um…I’m sorry, I…” Vanya began, and had to take a few moments to calm herself down, breathing deeply in and out as a coping mechanism. “I’m sorry Jack.” She started again. “In the moment I didn’t know what you were doing and I thought the worst.”
“Nah, it’s fine.” Jack tried to give her a reassuring smile, knowing that he must have inadvertently triggered something in the rabbit-like girl. “I was just doing guy stuff, didn’t mean to spook you. How did you even get in if I locked the door?”
“I don’t know, I just turned it as normal and it opened, it might be broken.” She motioned to the long-cracked mirror. “Just like a bunch of other things, you guys mentioned you needed to do some home repairs.”
“Yeah.” Jack sighed, though realistically he didn’t feel bad about it. It was something more normal that he had an aptitude for, as he often helped his father and his brothers around the house with chores on the weekends. “Something might be off with the plumbing or something too, the shower was sputtering a bit towards the end but I wasn’t actually using it for that long.”
“Yeah I think Alora mentioned having the occasional utility problems when guests are over, I’m guessing it might be more problematic now there’s more people living here for the foreseeable future.” Vanya sighed. “I hope there’s enough for me.”
“There should be. If not then maybe Zayle can help with their water spirit?” Jack grinned, before suddenly realising something. “Um…mind getting off me and letting me get changed first?”
“Oh! Sorry!” Vanya panicked as she quickly moved back, freeing the towel around Jack’s waist to fall to the ground…
“Oh…” The Chuna just about got out with wide eyes, before Jack took the initiative and gently manhandled her out of the room, shutting the door behind him.
Quickly finishing his shave and getting dressed Jack waved the embarrassed Vanya in, who had pulled out her small handbag, somehow managing to yank out a fully folded school uniform for the day. Jack guessed it was something similar to the extra-dimensional wicker basket the Squa’Kaar twins had used to store most of their belongings. Heading downstairs, Jack was happy to see that the rest of the household was awake in various states of lucidity. Nika was wide awake and eating breakfast with Alora, who was a little tired but otherwise coping. Chiyo and the Squa’Kaar were sitting on the sofa catching the headlines while Sephy was still looking tired browsing her commlink.
“You’ve got some more bounties on you Jack.” Sephy cautioned. “But nowhere near as bad as last week, probably not gonna be a problem.”
“Who has he pissed off now?” Nika asked curiously.
“Actually it’s all of us.” Sephy shrugged. “Apparently the Ogar clan the Laird belonged to seeks a Weregild for his death. They either weren’t able to put up much or just don’t give a shit and put up a token amount that satisfies their tradition. We’ve also got some anonymous accounts freshly made that are bumping Jack up again…”
“Malakiel?” Jack asked, worried.
“Nah. It’s gotta be related to the Klowns. They’ve tagged a bunch of people, all prominent people that are publicly known to have had a hand in fighting off the Klowns. You, Luvia, Svaarti, Devil’s Daughter, and everyone’s favourite asshole Svaartal are up there, but the amounts are spread fairly evenly. Oh hey! Mr Sparrel’s here too! And holy crap, so is Master Kull!”
“How are the Klowns able to post bounties?” Zayle asked in confusion as their earth spirit lumbered over and brought over a tray of tea.
“Because it isn’t them themselves actually doing it.” Nika pointed out. “It’s all the crazies actually backing them on the datanet that want to see everything burn. The damn simps!”
The Cult of Jingubash is likely involved too. Chiyo added. They are known to exist but they’re treated the same as the Cult of the Destroyer. The Klowns are their public force, but there are many worshippers that hide in the shadows and keep their allegiances well hidden. They’re not believed to be organised in the way cultists of the Destroyer usually are, but they’re still very dangerous.
“Good to know.” Jack shrugged. “At least I’m one of many, any bounty hunters I should know about?”
“Nope.” Sephy smiled. “You’re all clear on the public list, but that doesn’t mean hunters aren’t coming after you, or they just haven't announced it publicly yet.”
“Yeah, when you’re known to have done a public service for the city, people tend to frown on those that want to mess with you.” Nika grinned as the conversation ended, with Jack quickly accepting the breakfast Zayle made for him as he watched the news, with Rayle occasionally skipping the more boring stories.
“...dire news as people are still being recovered from this scene of devastation…”
“..The CEO of Corvin Enterprises has threatened to hunt down and expel all ‘peasants’ from the newly annexed district…”
“It is currently unknown what occurred at the Pallid Pit, however Drow involvement in cleansing it is speculated to be the likely cause…”
“Red Legion forces have been pushed back from the Taurin Sector, causing many to wonder - Is the Red Legion on the brink of defeat?”
“....it is unknown if this is a possible sign of a new Nascent Demon Lord awakening on Hive Station Bastilla, but local factions are investigating….”
“Local rangers have confirmed a mass-migration of many Zorn tribes heading westward into the unexplored wilderness. The reason for this is unknown…”
“We have Breaking News!” A cheery avian female suddenly popped up on the screen. She was in a large hall amidst a crowd of journalists with a podium and lectern combo at the end. “I am reporting live from Cocaine Keep, where local warlord Commander Cocaine has called a press conference in light of the apparent death of Devil’s Daughter…oh! Looks like he’s about to speak!”
The camera zoomed in on a large biped walking to the podium. With greenish grey skin and several bone plates protecting their maw, the mean-looking, aquatic-looking warrior was wearing a full set of lithe combat armour that hugged his large frame, with an oversized pair of goggles and a plain white bandana.
“Ooooh yeah!” The warrior roared intensely, shutting up the crowd instantly as he posed with bulging muscles for the cameras as his voice echoed throughout the hall. “I’ve heard the news, yeah! I’ve seen the Klowns, yeah! I’ve smelled the chaos, yeah! And I sense the cries of the people for a hero, yeah! SO COMMANDER COCAINE WILL ANSWER! OOOOH YEAH!”
In the views of the cameras, Jack could see the front rows of journalists start to back away, almost as if they were afraid of the volatile warlord doing something crazy.
Jack couldn’t blame them.
“Yeah! I know you’re all feeling scared and alone out there, yeah! I know things are bad, yeah!” The lunatic continued, with energetic motions towards the stunned crowd. “But let me tell you people something. Commander Cocaine may not be the biggest or strongest there is, but I’ve got heart! I’ve got spirit! And I’ve got lots of cocaine! Ooooh yeah!”
He made several poses with his muscles bulging beneath his armour before he concluded his speech.
”You know who I am, but just in case you don’t, I am Commander Cocaine, and I am the hero this city needs! Anyone with an active bounty better watch out, because Commander Cocaine is coming! OOOOH YEAH!”
With that he strutted off as several reporters from the front row tried to ask him some questions.
“Well, we just heard from Commander Cocaine, who has just sworn to be the hero this city needs!” The reporter started after regaining their composure. “If you want to aid him, you can join the Cocaine Crusaders at the following…”
That’s enough crazy for me right now. Chiyo interrupted as she used her powers to call the remote to her and changed the channel.
“Heh, check this out!” Sephy suddenly cackled. “Svaartal’s got a fat bounty on him, probably from fans of Devil’s Daughter!”
“I hope Devil’s Daughter is okay…” Alora spoke up sadly, causing Sephy to calm down. “We may be partially responsible for what happened…”
“No, Devil’s Daughter made her choice using the information we gave her, we couldn’t have predicted what she would do with it.” Nika reasoned. “And we’re totally going for that bounty, right? We still owe Svaartal a receipt for coming after Jack last week, it’ll be the perfect time to get him if we all work together to take him down.”
“You forget that he’s aligned himself with a powerful Drow House!” Alora chided her. “Who we really want to shake off! As good as we are, we cannot stand against them if we give them greater cause to seek our destruction!”
“They came for us already!” Sephy pointed out. “How could it be worse? Besides, we can take them!”
“It could be a lot worse!” Alora cautioned. “And not only are the Drow Nobles powerful individually, they have a powerful force backing them. There’s a reason why they are a major faction here! You’d risk putting all of us in massive danger!”
“Svaartal has to separate from them at some point.” Nika reasoned. “What do you think Jack?”
“I don’t want to go after him.” Jack immediately replied, truthfully. “But if he gives me a good reason to, I'll face him again. However, if he leaves us alone, we can leave him alone.”
“Well, that’s decided.” Alora sighed in relief. “We haven’t got too much time before we need to go, so let’s all hurry up and get ready!”
As they all hustled and did what they needed to do, Nika sat down on the sofa already ready, unhappy with the decision on Svaartal. He was a dangerous threat to the group, and after his ambush on them she knew he had to be taken out before he had a chance to come for them again. She had tried to take him out during the Klown attack when everyone else was safe and nobody was looking, without success. But here, there was an opportunity to take him out for good without getting their own hands dirty.
Logging in to one of her proxy accounts, Nika bumped up Svaartal’s bounty some more, making it that much more lucrative….
‘Shouldn’t have tried to kill Jack, asshole.’ She thought to herself with a sly smile.

The queues to the school entrance checkpoints were shorter than usual due to the Klown attack, but not depressingly so. Several of the students were talking to each other while they waited in line as they looked up and down the rows in hopes of seeing their friends. To Jack’s mind, many seemed relieved that there weren’t as many victims as they had expected, and the realisation that he played a major part in saving a lot of his fellow students around him during the attack gave him a warm feeling in the back of his mind.
Unfortunately, said good thoughts evaporated when they got closer to the prefects.
“Halt!” One of the Korrigan prefects ordered the group as they approached. “Due to increased security measures you will submit to a full pat down. Failure to comply will result in your immediate termination.”
“Heh, as if they could take us.” Sephy grinned to the others as she was surprisingly the first to volunteer, though Jack had no doubt the sneaky Skritta had ways of hiding what she didn’t want to be seen.
“You two, come this way.” The head prefect observing their queue told Jack and Alora as they moved separately to be searched.
“What have you got hidden here?” the Prefect narrowed his eyes at Jack as they neared the end of their check. It had been quite thorough but he hadn’t given the Prefects a hard time because of it. He could understand the need for additional security in light of the Klown attack, but he wished they weren’t so heavy handed…
“Those are my balls.” Jack squirmed away. “Handle with care, or preferably not at all!”
“Yeah only we get to do that!” Sephy grinned as Jack sputtered in shock.
“You may go.” The Prefect told him. “Actually…wait a moment.”
“Is there a problem?” Jack asked warily, not wanting to be given any grief by these guys.
“I…” the grey-skinned Prefect began before they found their words. “I want to thank you and your friends for what you did at the party, many of my friends and colleagues are still alive because of you.”
“I…that’s alright, I just did what I could to help.” Jack replied, abruptly taken aback by the words. As bad as the Prefects could be, they were still people.
As the rest of the group made it past the checkpoint to head to the lifts, Jack groaned internally as he saw several drow waiting for them up ahead. If looks alone could kill, Izadora was certainly trying as she snarled at the human, who grinned defiantly in return while wearing the shades he had picked up from one of the two Drow Nobles that had attacked him during their raid on the Pallid Pit. The two brothers, Soren and Kravel, were nearby dealing with the checkpoint, but Jack could see they had clocked their group’s arrival.
The huge drow was there too, close to Izadora, and casually leaning against the entry staircase looking bored. Another smaller drow was there who he didn’t immediately recognise, wasn’t she with Soren when the drow came to pick up Svaarti? She certainly stood out from the crowd; despite the slim, athletic build similar to most of the other Drow, Jack could see several school uniform violations, with the thin, high collared black leather-like jacket, with interwoven silvery circuitry that appeared functional being the most blatant, and several dyed strands of light purple amongst her naturally white long hair.
And finally, Svaartal himself. Standing at attention, he was leaning on the staff of Devil’s Daughter, and staring right at him.
“Someone’s chasing clout with that staff.” Nika growled, keeping her hands ready to draw weapons, ignoring the pain of movement as she put on an air of confidence.
“Let’s try not to escalate this if we can.” Alora cautioned.
“You.” Izadora growled under her breath, and the Eladrie sighed resignedly.
“Hey there!” Jack grinned widely, as he gave the Drow Matriarch a friendly wave while many students stopped to watch the exchange, knowing what had happened the last time. “How was your weekend?” He mocked, though he kept up the friendly facade.
“Better than yours I suspect.” She snarled back. “I’m surprised you’re alive, Outsider.”
“Wait, what?” The unknown Drow with them perked up, looking baffled, turning around to stare at Izadora, as Jack saw the traces of several neon circuitry designs peek up from the collar of her school uniform. “This is the guy that kicked your ass and got you all worked up, sister? He doesn’t look so tough to me! My mech could totally wreck him, shame the High Matriarch said no!”
Jack didn’t think the foul expression of Izadora couldn’t get worse, but he was almost amused to see that he was quite wrong. Both Svaartal and the huge drow covered their smirks as the Matriarch rounded on who was apparently her sister, even as the unusual Drow waltzed closer to Jack, peering at him with a curious expression. Nika immediately had her shotgun levelled at their head as Chiyo drew in her power, ready to lash out.
“What?” The strange drow rolled her eyes at the girls as she stopped. “I haven’t even done anything yet!”
“Dextra.” Izadora snapped with gritted teeth. “Satisfy your foolish curiosity another time.”
“You talk too much for a humiliated Matriarch trying to save face.” Sephy chipped in with her ricocheting plasma pistols pointed at the ground, though Jack knew from the angle that she had subtly taken aim at Izadora. “Jack kicked your ass right here, and we took out your special forces at the Pallid Pit!”
“I will make you…” Izadora snarled, before they were interrupted by a familiar, cool voice.
“Izadora, what is the reason you are accosting this group of students?” Rena called out, as she approached the crowd, and Jack was surprised and glad to see Nya trailing gingerly behind her, staring at Svaartal’s newly acquired staff. “It appears that you are holding up the flow of traffic.”
“I am simply ensuring that they know the rules, Rena.” Izadora dismissed. “I-”
“I doubt it.” Rena snapped, unamused. “Your duties are done here, I have been instructed to tell you to report to Mr Zhiel’s office immediately before class.”
Izadora grumbled but ultimately complied, while Svaartal and Dextra slinked away. Only the large one remained behind, looking at Rena almost amusedly as she gave orders to the students to disperse, before he finally turned lazily and slunk up the stairs, but not before subtly looking at Jack for just a tiny moment with a thin smirk.
“I would suggest you all go to your form classes, as there have been several changes in light of the Killer Klown’s attack. I will however address you about this incident later.” Rena sternly told their group, as Alora gently pulled Jack away, quietly pleading with him not to start any trouble, despite the human’s wish to chase after and attack Izadora again, and to give Rena some backtalk.
“Jack, did you really have to wear those shades you looted from the Mal’Kar’s around their surviving family?” The Eladrie sighed disapprovingly as they left the area.
“Yep!” He grinned as they made their way to the lifts.
“Totally worth it…”

You may have seen us in the Aether data center's party finder during our weekly events, or may have seen our recruitment shouts around the realm in-game in Midgardsormr, but there just isn't enough space in those places to really explain everything wonderful about what our Free Company and community is.
Azure Infinitum is an LGBTQ+ friendly community, and welcomes players of all experience level, play style, and availability. We're a warm home with a balance of online players, weekly optional activities, and flexible ranks from our membership, to our support & leadership categories. We have a 24/7 Support Team, a Councilship that governs each tier, seasonal events of our own, and many resources between the games we support and online services.

Azure Infinitum means "Azure/Blue Infinity or Infinite Blue/Azure" and there is some mythos behind the name that stems from our guild-wide philosophy of kindness, freedom, vigilance, diversity and activity. We promote positive fellowship among members in an organized guild, with our sights open to our unending endless skies, full of possibility and success together.
Our motto is "As Free As The Azure Sky!" which stuck well when our FC was restructured from an old guild in 2014 as Azure was founded, and it was first shouted as we looked out at a clear blue sky above. has continued to be our electric victory as we continue to snowball in success and activity, our members soaring high through the Azure Sky, flying together!

Our community has an organized ranking structure beginning with Members who comprise the majority of the roster. Scouts are our support team of Members who've stepped up to more officially support the FC, some work on obtaining a future leadership rank. Lieutenants and Officers comprise the proud Azure Council, a diverse group of players of different specialties and services to the FC, making up lower and higher tier leadership, seeing over the Scouts and the FC weekly events, aside from being admins. The FC Infinitum Master oversees all and leads the Azure Council and the company forward while always keeping the heart and vision of the community alive and in sight. Currently we are re-assessing ranks in the free company, giving more support permissions and duties to our Scouts, while the current council operates as a small team of Lieutenants lead by the FC Master.
Everyone Welcome and Who Fits Best
We have an open door policy. Whether you're casual, a returning player, a veteran, or a newbie, we have a vast array of players in our member roster. Our weekly schedule is organized and provides an array of activity for players of most levels, however we like to ask players who're pretty new or under the level cap, to be extra vocal about their needs while they're still unable to attend some daily events or higher level content that most of our weekly lineup focuses on. We want everyone to have as much fun as possible and have the most success. We find that most players enjoy Azure Infinitum, many have stated that they subscribed to FFXIV much longer than they ever would have imagined after they have been around in our community, as they've gotten involved and experienced all that we offer.
Our FC keeps a daily schedule (see here: https://www.azureinfinitum.com/events/) of events that are hosted by permitted Scouts and Council ranks, these range from 8-man and 24-man raids and map parties, to WT journal groups and trial clear parties or farms, and more- and attending anything isn't mandatory at all here. We're happy to have you, and its up to our members how much they'd like to get involved. Attendance is optional! There's never any stress to attend FC functions.
Savage Raiding Statement
We find that some hardcore raiders looking for free companies just to join their statics who don't already have one, might not fit well if savage raiding is their only or greatest focus, because traditionally Azure does not have a Savage Static, but focuses more on allowing members to organize their own groups and also provides resources to do so. Despite not supporting an official static for the FC, we hope that hardcore raiders enjoy the wealth of our community's wealth of harmony and overall fun, and that everyone may take initiative to seek out or build a raiding static within our community if they are interested, as opposed to missing out on experiencing Azure. Depending on the content season, we may have an Unofficial static lead by a leader, and routinely offer limited time Savage-learning events that may run for a number of months.
Rules and No Drama Policy
Please take a moment to look over our Rules Page at (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/rules/), we find that rude individuals and people who create drama are the outsiders here that don't fit well. We know its a big page, so at least visit the General Rules section before joining.
Recruitment Care & Activity
People of Azure Infinitum are often if not always good natured players who found their way to our community looking for a place with structure, friendliness, organization, and great activity, or they've been scouted during recruitment drives and have been well screened. Its a place where one can be social and attend everything, or relax in the background and enjoy the services and facilities of being in an active, organized, and friendly FC. We actively recruit periodically to assist with upkeep of community activity levels, and to meet new comrades. A community that closes recruitment can be doomed to stagnation. Its normal for a community to have an inner core of die hards who log in daily regardless of content releases, and also have an outer core of individuals that range from those with less availability to those who check in during Patches. This is why we take extra care in keeping the fresh blood flowing into Azure, cautious recruitment, and support our active model by always staying welcoming and sometimes running recruitment campaigns and other services. Like this ad!
Handling Online Drama
Because we keep a no-drama policy and have a strong communication network, it is leadership's ultimate priority to handle any issues that may come up as soon as possible, and most people appreciate our problem solving which has inspired many other communities. Between our Support & Leadership ranks, we use a number of report and resource channels to handle situations, and perform problem solving protocols & tactics to fairly address issues as possible. Drama is inevitable at some point for any online community, so its important to have a large and strong list of moderators (currently around 60!) and a council of leaders (15+) to quickly handle any problems. Luckily, we don't have a lot of drama, but we're always very well equipped and very prepared. Our community has been commended by game staff in the past for our methods, and we have worked with the FFXIV Special Task Force to ensure as much safety to our community as achievable. It should be stressed that it is up to our membership to report to GM's in-game, and to Azure Leadership should any issues or concerns come up. Its also highly recommended that our members appropriately document evidence that can be used to help us assess situations and make proper decisions. Documenation such as screenshots of harassment is a great example! Our members online safety is greatly important to us and is a number one concern of our leadership team. Our Rules Page at: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/rules/) describes a bit more in Chapter 3, including other entries on avoiding/ignoring trolls, playing while intoxicated, depression, and more.

We believe in our community and its people, how far we can go, how much we can do for each other, being an experienced community who's core values are positive fellowship, formation of bonds, and indomitable unity.
Azure Infinitum tightly grasps success and masters a casual and lucrative weekly play schedule while inspiring motivation and providing avenues for further success, friendships, and camaraderie among all who freely fly together among our Azure skies.
Founding on the principles of intricately forging a generally drama-free experience with keen leadership and a zealous and mighty membership, Azure has striven to guide and support many hundreds of players through every era of Final Fantasy XIV.
With an illustrious history, company lore, impressive statistics, and a model that is adaptable and blessed with innovative ability, Azure Infinitum claims a dominant presence of excellence and player growth that is possible in our community and extended services.
Estate Organization
We have the entire set-up at our estate, from gardens for members and Krakka Root production (free for members' chocobos), to our stables, nicely uniform clean lawn with hangout spots that are popular, with crafting stations, all available NPCs for simple mats and repairs, cut-scene viewer, toybox, triple-triad board, a fully operational and geared fleet of airships and subs, and our Azure Infinitum Assembly Chamber on the top floor for our meetings where announcements are made at our Grand Assemblies. We also have an organized form of gathering for weekly events in the yard, places to relax, food that is always available on tables at our Cellar, and hold a lot of special events and social games at our Hall. We're also conveniently located next to a Market Board and a Retainer Bell outside of our estate.
Communication and Extended Azure Services
We have multiple services of which none are mandatory, but we provide being (azureinfinitum.com) where our Forums, Event Calendar, News, Company Meeting Summaries, Seasonal Merch Giveaways, Contests, Rules Page, and more take place and can be found. We also have a popular and active Discord Server.

Also worthy of mention is our big Company Meetings in-game, known as Azure Infinitum Grand Assemblies. Even though we have several avenues that keep people connected, our live assemblies gather the FC in unity where announcements are made first, and all proposals, ideas, and more, can be decided together live with the Azure Council present.
This network ensures a lot of information and communication gets around and has been exceedingly useful to us.
More On Events
One part of our reputation that often precedes us is our event crafting and hosting.
First, let me make sure its clear that attendance is never mandatory, but those who can make use, when possible, of what we provide each day, benefit from our events each week.
Since our beginning, traditions like our Thursday Treasure Thursdays events have run each week. Our weekly line-up presently begins on Tuesdays post-weekly reset, and consists of Raid Tuesdays, Wondrous Wednesdays (WT Journal Parties, often doubles as Trial Clears and Pony Drops), Treasure Thursdays (Endwalker's timeworn maps with groups of 8 doing up to 3 rounds of maps allowing for up to 24 maps ran), 24-Man Tuesdays (full pre-formed Azure 24-member alliances are made and raids are cleared, will be returning upon the release of EW's 24-man), Super Azure Slayer Sunday (our weekly meetup to do all sorts of PVP content be it Rival Wings or Frontline), and Monstrous Mondays (helps clear the current and previous patch extreme trials).

We also have what we call Special and Quarterly Events. These types of events are Weekend-Long-Events that usually consist of a theme or celebratory social events we craft. During these events we hold big Riddle Races, Costume/Glamour shows and contests, 3-Story Mansion Maze Races, Speedrun Dungeon Races, Hide and Seek games, Custom Quest Events, Discord events like Cards Against Humanity nights, Comedy events, PVP Tournament Circuits, and more.
Our Special and Quarterly events are Azure Day Weekend (Takes place 3 times a year across a weekend, celebrates the FC), Azure Summer Festival (3-days at the end of August in partnership with Child's Play, raises money for children in long-term care, anniversary of historic FC event called the Lunar Rebellion), Anniversary Azure Day (a big weekend event in November that celebrates our Founding), Azure Day Saint's Wake (celebrates Halloween/All Saint's Wake), Azure Starlight Day (celebrating Starlight Day/Christmas/December Holiday Season), Azure Grand Melee and Duel Tournaments (PVP Circuit series crowning our PVP Champions) and more.
Azure Day Weekends
If you've been around our server you may have heard of our Azure Day Weekends. Our Azure Days take place quarterly as mentioned just above, with four evolved editions called Azure Summer Festival, Azure Day Saint's Wake, Azure Starlight Day, and Anniversary Azure Day. With Azure Day Weekends and related events traditionally occuring quarterly our members are always excited to see the next big weekend of crazy and fun social games, and our showering of the free company in gil and prizes galore. We go all out when we celebrate the free company, and Azure Days are another way we find for leadership to give back to the community. 2023 and beyond is now host to additional seasonal Azure Day events!
We're always giving our members a chance to have fun, win big, and make some great memories in the in-game family we've become. Something fun is always on the horizon in Azure.
Community
I almost can't stress enough how friendly our community is. We have a vast variety of members from hardcore gatherers and crafters, social butterflies, chill veterans, experienced raiders, level grinders, support teams, PVP aficionados, mechanic specialists, and mentors. We're also very friendly to all casual players as well and we keep an open door so long as recruits are always aware that we have a no-drama tolerance here.
​Evolution into a Gaming Clan & Network
Plans are in the works and foundations are being laid that is slowly turning our community into a larger gaming network, with our first established Azure Wing with regular occurring activity being founded in Monster Hunter World, this has led to a successful Destiny 2 clan and more. Becoming a member of our Discord and/or Free Company now means access to things like our huge discord, Azure Wing membership in other games, and being able to join in on any of our other activities in the general community. Azure Network as its being called at the moment, is growing with an all-new website and community features for playing together across Final Fantasy XIV and to Azure Skies beyond!
Activity
We rank high as one of the top FC's in Worldwide Activity on lodestone, and have for a long time. Most of our players are divided between the US East and West Coasts, members in East and West Canada, and a few outside the US or in EU or Aus zones. Because we do have an activity policy (mentioned below) we keep a standard flow of people, and have crowds in the early morning, late morning, early afternoon, afternoon, evening, and late night crowds.
Elitism isn't our style. Our community boasts a broad range of characters, great personalities, the proud, and also some silly goofs. But elitism isn't welcome, no matter how successful we are or how large we grow. We're always welcoming towards fresh faces interested in joining our guild, and the in-game activity ranges between 30-60+ online at once during prime time hours, sometimes around 70+ on patch days, and usually always with half the roster logging in throughout a 24 hour period, and around 15-30+ during the night.
Activity Policy
We ask that our members do not go missing without logging in for more than 60 days straight. If we hear word from someone or have some kind of decent excuse, we place our members on our On Vacation rank, which lasts presently until 90 days have passed. Exceptions are made for military deployments, hospital stays, financial issues, disability/health related issues, moving, or other reasons that might fall on a case-by-case basis.
All members not heard from in 60 days (roughly 2 months) or currently 90 days (roughly 3 months) are discharged. We allow 3 joins to Azure Infinitum in total, but exceptions can be made due to reasons listed above. If removed for inactivity, or you've left our FC for another reason and haven't already joined 3 times, you're always welcome back, but please remember, we are not a revolving door.
Keeping our roster full of members who have been online and presently play the game actively ensures an active environment for our players who play often. It also keeps our credits and clerical processes balanced across our network, and allows space for new faces to join our big happy in-game family of comrades.

Hey lads, first time here on the sub, love the poddy. I started listening around round 6 and recently went back to listen to the few that I missed, and loved hearing their prediction reasoning and then the first review round 7, now we're round 14 and I think its the perfect time for another shot at the predictions. I tried to collect most of the new guesses that the boys did but I might've missed a few as I was sorta speeding through the episode, but perhaps Tom has this sacred knowledge and will release it in near future pod.

Age: 32 Weight: 170 Boner status: Very rarely experience anxiety induced ED(maybe 5% of the time)
Want to preface this by saying I don't have ED, but with age means I can't really do round 2... Tried this as it had raving reviews, "Instant boner in 3 seconds! Zero relapse period"
So does this have any truth to it?
Popped one in my mouth with a tylenol after not eating for 4 hours(pretty light non-fatty meal as suggested), chewed on it. 15 minutes later my entire body felt "hot". Girl I was with commented on how I felt "clammy" while cuddling and turned up the AC... doubt it made a difference, I was on fire - she didn't bother bringing it up again so whatever.
We're fooling around and I get a very similar boner off this pill. I don't think there was any difference at all except feeling uncomfortably hot with weirdly loud heartbeats. When it wasn't being touched, it'd go down in 30-45 seconds. So being "turned on" doesn't just magically keep it going as many have said.
It also didn't instantly go full-on boner rage 0-60 in 3 seconds, she sucked life into it over 2 minutes before full erection. After I came, that thing torpedoed down faster than my girl when the check comes. There was no reviving it, it was done.
So it was essentially worthless for me, I can't imagine how worthless it would be to someone with actual ED.
The side effects were dizziness, lightheadness, overall feeling of "off" and being really hot to the touch + sweating. Also some extremely bad heartburn. These all subsided gradually with the heartburn lasting the longest. Dizziness + lightheadedness were gone in an hour, being hot at around 3 hours, and feeling off at 4 hours... heartburn is still here 6+ hours later.
I'm gonna give it one more go with 2 pills before I call these absolute bullshit. These not being FDA approved were a red flag and so were the very obvious manipulated reviews here.
So here's a real one... enjoy it or don't. I don't care. I'll edit this with my 60MG findings when the time comes.

Day 2. Relapsed for 1 week after having 6 months clean. Pharma oxy. About 30mg a day. This is my 3rd time going through this.
This fucking mental torture should be enough to ever tempt me to touch an opiate again but it’s almost like once enough time passes, our brains forget how bad it was and think it won’t be so bad to get off if I fry them for a couple of days.
I want off this merry go round so fucking badly. Every other time I’ve slipped I’ve told my husband but I can’t do that to him this time. He’s dealing with so much with his sick father.
I have no access to the pills now, and am safe but these mental feelings of complete sadness is so debilitating.
Thankfully I’m staying with my parents who are helping to care for my toddler while my husband works away for the next couple of weeks.
Told them I have a bad case of flu. But it’s getting hard to hide the constant tears.
I know from experience that it will take time for my brain to heal, but these initial 1-7 days are literal hell and wish I could speed up the time.
I can deal with the physical side but that feeling of sadness, depression and just complete helplessness is so shit.
I REFUSE to do this to myself any more.

I've been experimenting since Feb of 2021. It hasn't been easy. I am NOT a typical responder by any metric. I was born super premature with brain damage due to oxygen deprivation and am considered to be somewhat on the spectrum. Later in life after my first cancer I had one of those drug response tests done and it says I am a super rapid metabolizer.
I have a long documented history of things not working right. I did Ketamine therapy for depression and I was taking 650 MG via IV and I was up and walking 30 minutes later. That's not supposed to happen. I can take a half dozen Ambien with zero response. I don't really drink as I don't care for the taste and it's frankly a dedicated job if I want to feel anything from it. To get me drunk would require an amount that would hospitalize some people. Sleeping pills don't work. 50 mg+ injection of Benadryl, no response. I have no response to Opioids..which a great discovery when you're on the oncology floor. I've had two surgical procedures with only local numbing because I cannot be twilighted. If it doesn't require legit going under..then I don't get pain management. I confound the hospital. I had 3 rounds of immensely harsh chemo. I didn't feel a thing, no pain, no discomfort. It was like sparkling water.
I'm telling you this so you can get an idea of just how fucked up I am in terms of drug response.
My medicine of choice is shrooms. But I need a lot. about 4 to 5 grams with rue ie Psilouacha, which to my understanding at least doubles the potency if not more. So I'm probably around 10-12 grams per journey.
I would change myself in a second if I could, but I can't. I just have to deal with things as the immense drug fuck up that I am. I don't get any sacred geometry. That magic hyperspace realm a lot of you go to..I don't have the faintest idea what that is like. Things look a bit brighter..and after a extensive supplementation regimen I can see trees do some odd shit but that's as far as it goes for me in terms of visuals. Internally? Black hole
I've had an immensely traumatic childhood/life. I've been in therapy since grade school and I'm 41, been on meds since the same time roughly. Been on pretty much every cocktail out there with minimal effect. Lithium has been the med of choice for a while but I've been off it for a long time. I used to disassociate heavily as kid, have diagnosed ptsd and whatever else. My oncology therapist says I'm the most fucked person she's ever had. And when the floor staff heard some of my story when I was inpatient, they sobbed. I'm a fucking mess.
I'm pretty much emotionally numb inside, I don't really feel things. I can recall a handful of emotional experiences in my life, that's it. For instance, I know my parents love me, but I don't feel anything, I can't...really connect with people, my mother says I see them like trees. Like objects. The first time I ever felt what seems like love was my first aya trip in May of 2021.
When I do a journey..I can experience..love and joy and grief and..wonder. Emotions and feelings that I can't otherwise access in sober life. It's like I get to cosplay as a human for a day.
I have a progressive chronic permanent illness that cannot be cured and it will eventually result in my death. There's a lot of complications with it. I can't really interact with society. Heavily immune compromised, I've had to live with my parents for the past 5 years in their spare room. Can't be overheated, can't be exposed to sun for more than a few minutes a day. Can't tolerate cold or mold friendly environments. I have damaged lungs, can't do anything physical to any real degree. Tired all of the time.
Psychedelics..are like my window/door to something else outside of my little bedroom. And when I do them I feel great..like perfect, I feel good and energetic...like before cancer type good. It even seems to be effective in rolling back some of the dysfunction/damage that I have. I had massive light sensitivity and a trip last year eliminated that. I don't have to wear sunglasses 24 hours a day anymore. It's far more effective than anything the hospital throws my way.
I started around every 3.5 to 4 weeks. It's been pretty great overall. Most challenging experience was I had the great timing to dose about 2 hours before a mass shooting. That was..not a great time.
Last summer they stopped working as I had advanced thyroid cancer and apparently the thyroid is important to psychedelic trips. Things looked prettier but emotional connection was pretty much gone. Had to get it removed and radiation etc, blah. Post surgery, amazing, it's like a filter was removed. Hospital says I've had it ongoing for years, so ever since I started. So from Aug of 2021 to Oct it didn't really work at. Post surgery, better than it had ever been.
In Jan of this year, I had radiation scheduled and I managed to catch Covid for the first time. I'm considered unvaccinated as my disease requires immune suppression to treat which makes vaccines useless. I tried a trip a week post Covid as my radiation treatment was soon had a really shitty prep and fuck all. Absolutely nothing. But I've read that Covid can really screw with it. So I wasn't surprised by that.
This past Feb was one of the most amazing trips of my life. I had recently lost my aya Shaman Steve Hupp and on that trip I connected with him somehow and it was the most incredible experience.
But ever since then it hasn't really worked. Now..the only change that I can say happened around that time was I vacuum sealed my supply because I was worried about degradation. I cannot think of a single rational reason why that would fuck everything up. I cannot think of any logical reason why that would impact things. The strain I've been using is PE6. My go for a while was Z strain, but I dumped that entire supply into making blue honey which turned out to be a massive mistake. I have old PE6 and GT on hand. I am planning on doing an APE grow..but there's a lot going on atm with my fathers health. We just ruled bone cancer for him, but he's going to need major spine surgery with a decent odds of paralysis. That shit has to be dealt with first before I embark on a new grow.
Sometimes you can just get weak shit..but this has gone on long enough that I think something else is going on.
Lately..it like doesn't kick off. Like a mild afterglow is all I get, and that's after hitting a vape to bring it up. My typical method is lemon tek, though I am planning to experiment with a chocolate bar as I hate drinking that shit.
Maybe something in my health has turned and it's impacting this. If that's the case I'm probably just screwed.
I did a experience a couple days about, 7 grams and change of PE6 with lemon tek. Extremely puffy powder, it just absorbed an entire lemon..it turned to the consistency of oatmeal almost or grits...it was..odd. That was a chore getting down.
It felt like it took forever to go anywhere, normally 40 minutes and you kind of get shoved off the cliff. I had to hit the vape pretty decent to get anywhere.
Normally I have really excellent recall with this stuff. I'm very present. I went to the bathroom to look out the window. It was really hot that day and I wasn't allowed to sit outside, so I went to the bathroom to sit and look out the window. Fucked as it sounds it's the only way sometimes for me to look at nature. I remember looking out the window and then it was dark. I lost time like hours of it. Which has not happened before. The afterglow for me usually lasts for some days..but it was gone that night. Now my mother was explaining just how potentially fucked my father is..so that may have had something to do with it.
I just want my normal emotionally fulfilling experience..
