What happened to these six older and elderly women? A write up of five women who went missing under mysterious circumstances.

2023.06.04 23:27 truedilemma What happened to these six older and elderly women? A write up of five women who went missing under mysterious circumstances.

This post is about a couple of older and elderly women who vanished without a trace. I wanted to include women who disappeared without much of an explanation. When elderly people go missing, their disappearances can often be chalked up to a dementia-related event. I believe many elderly people who vanished with their cars may be in the bottom of lakes and rivers. Those who lived near wilderness may have gotten lost and died of exposure. Those who were picked up or hitchhiked could've been brought to a hospital where they were unable to communicate their true identity. The women I included went missing under more suspicious circumstances.
Mayme Hart Johnson - Disappeared June 12th, 2000 from Nashville, Tennessee.
Mayme is the first on the list and the reason I decided to do this post. On June 12th, 2000, Mayme Hart Johnson, a local historian, researcher, and teacher went missing from Nashville, Tennessee. Mayme, who was 85, lived in the 100 block of Bosley Springs Road in West Nashville with her son, Sam, in his apartment. At 6:30 am that morning, her son woke to find his mother gone. While he reported that he wasn't initially concerned because Mayme occasionally left the apartment around that time, he became alarmed when she didn't return by lunchtime. Where Mayme would go/what she would do at that time is not known. Richland Creek is close by to the apartments, but from what I've seen, it's narrow and a body would probably soon be found if it was in there, despite it being 28 miles long. Of course, there is always a chance she made it into a larger body of water that concealed her. A maintenance man from the Johnson's building told authorities that he had seen Mayme at 6:30 am the day she went missing. This was around the time Sam woke up. Whether this employee saw her outside the building, inside the building, near or on her apartment floor, or down the street is not mentioned. At the time of her disappearance Mayme was 5'5, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair, and last seen wearing pink pants and a pink blouse. Whether these were pajamas or not (possibly indicating a dementia-like episode, where she got up out of the house and left without telling her son or getting dressed) is, like many things in this case, unknown. Mayme, as I mentioned, was a historian and if you google her name you will find a few sites that show her body of work. In 1986, she published "A Treasury of Tennessee Churches". A search for Mayme was conducted in the Nashville area and extended to Huntingdon, TN, where her husband's grave was, and where she had been visiting the weekend before she vanished. There was also an aerial search of Eastern Maury County that took place in July 2000 after law enforcement came up with a theory that she could be a target of the I-65 rapist. I'm not sure where police got this idea from. The I-65/Days Inn Killer, now identified as Harry Edward Greenwell, murdered three hotel clerks (ages 21, 24, 34) in the late 1980s. He also sexually assaulted a 21 year old hotel clerk in 1990. While LE does believe he's connected to more violent crimes, I'm not sure how they link Mayme to him--if you know, please add your knowledge in the comments. After the aerial search, nothing was found linking anything to Mayme. In 2008 she was declared deceased.
-
Helen Joyce Rawley - disappeared June 4th, 2003 from College Park, Maryland
Helen Joyce Rawley lived in a bungalow on the 4600 block of Knox Road in College Park, Maryland with her son. 75 year old Helen went by her middle name "Joyce" so that is how I'll refer to her. Seventy-five year old Joyce and her son, Tom, had lived together since the death of Joyce's husband of 48 years, Nelson, in 2001. Between 6:45 and 7:00 am on June 4th, 2003, Joyce was last seen by her tenant, a man who had rented a room at the Rawley home for the last eight years. Joyce was seen by him on her porch that morning as he returned home from work. Beginning the day after her husband died in February 2001, Joyce suffered two strokes four days apart. Because of the strokes, she was unable to talk and considered disabled because of her inability to communicate. In 2002, Joyce underwent chemotherapy and radiation for rectal cancer. She was on medication that made her tired and weak. She didn't go out anywhere by herself except to get the mail. Her mind remained "sound", according to her son. The day she went missing, her son returned home from his foreman job at 3:30 pm, and found the house empty with the lights off. Joyce's purse and wallet remained left behind in her bedroom, everything was in place, and there were no signs of a robbery. Police tracked Joyce's scent out the front door which she never used, and to the corner of the block. However, she went missing on a "rain-soaked" and "dreary" day and it's possible the bad weather could've washed away any more of her scent outside. Since the death of her husband who died unexpectedly in his sleep, and her two other sons who died together in a 1982 boating accident, Joyce's immediate family consisted of her remaining child Tom, who was unmarried and childless at the time of his mother's disappearance. If she had other family out of the area is unknown. She does have a beach house in Annapolis, Maryland, but had not visited there after she went missing. She was 75 when she disappeared, standing between 5'4-5'5 and 110 pounds. Due to her cancer, she wore a colostomy bag and was on several medications that she can't go long without. Fliers with Joyce's information went out, woods were searched, local bus drivers were notified and questioned if they had seen her, and hospitals had been checked. A helicopter flew over the city at night with a heat-detecting device. No sight of her was ever found. She had brown eyes and white hair and was last seen in a sweatshirt and slacks. She enjoys gardening, crossword puzzles, and reading. Police don't suspect foul play and Tom isn't considered a suspect (neither is the tenant who was the last to see her), but they aren't sure what could've happened.
-
Maebell Dawson - disappeared January 3rd, 1998 from Jefferson Township, Ohio
68 year old Maebell Dawson had lived in a one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of the Martin Luther Manor Living Center on Liscum Drive for about a year when she went missing. Maebell was divorced, had two daughters, and had retired from a hospital housekeeping job two years prior. Maebell was close to her family, and when calls to reach her went unanswered for two days, by January 5th, her residence was checked. Nothing in the second-story apartment was missing or out of place. Her winter coat was draped over a chair, her wallet, credit cards, cash, and a check for rent dated 1/8/98 were all found in her purse on the table. Her bank account was never accessed again. There were no signs of forced entry, a struggle or robbery inside the apartment. LE does not believe Maebell was attacked from her apartment or lured from the premises, but they do believe foul play was involved. According to CharleyProject, suicide "has not been ruled out but has been deemed unlikely". In 1998, Maebell was between 5'4 - 5'6 and 180 pounds. She had brown eyes and gray hair, wore glasses, and was last seen in a tan jogging suit. She was last seen entering her apartment at 9:30 pm on January 3rd. Five and a half years after her disappearance, Maebell was declared legally dead.
-
Norma Mae Maynard - disappeared February 3rd, 1979 from Boone, Iowa.
Norma Mae Maynard went missing in early February of 1979, just two weeks after the unexpected death of her husband, Carl, on January 19th. Norma and Carl had been married for three decades and Norma was deeply grieving the loss. Norma lived with her 30 year old son, and he was the last to see his mother. He stated that shortly before noon on February 2nd, he found a note from his 61 year old mother that stated she was on her way to Los Angeles, not to look for her, and that she'd get in touch again someday. The validity of this note (if seen by LE, if handwritten analysis was performed, etc) is not known. Norma's purse and a few items of clothing were missing, but her checkbook and jewelry were left behind. There was no sign of a break-in at the house. Her husband's pension which she lived off of and her bank account with savings was not touched. Norma was a shy woman who spent most of her time at home and had a regular routine. She didn't drive and her brothers stated that she had never been more than a few miles from her hometown. Her husband's funeral bill was paid for by a check dated four days after she vanished and signed by "Mrs. Carl Maynard". According to Charley Project, "The signature appeared to match Maynard's handwriting, and her son said she had signed a blank check and left it with him to fill in and pay the bill". The validity of this is not known either. A sighting of a woman matching Norma's description was seen by a local Greyhound bus station employee. The woman was boarding a bus bound for Los Angeles. Police are not sure of the accuracy of this sighting and consider it "shaky". Norma didn't drive but she didn't normally travel by bus, and why she allegedly went to Los Angeles is unknown: she had no friends or family there. Norma's son was not considered a suspect in her case, though some members of her family believe he was involved in her disappearance. He has maintained his innocence and has since moved out of state. Norma was 5'3 tall and weight 175 pounds, with blue eyes and gray hair. If she was alive today, she'd be 105. I believe someone close to her knows what happened and made up the story about her leaving for California. My second theory would be suicide, and she made up the California story so her family wouldn't worry.
-
Yu Chin Goodson - disappeared March 25th, 2005 from Russellville, Franklin County, Alabama.
Yu Chin Goodson is one of the youngest on my list, and at 57, I wouldn't classify her as elderly, but she is an older woman with a lot of mental and physical issues, who went missing under mysterious circumstances like these other women. Yu Chin is an Asian woman suffering from paranoid schizophrenia, diabetes, and a heart problem which required daily medication. In 2005, she was living in group home for patients with mental disabilities in Russellville, Alabama. On March 25th, 2005, a witness claimed to see Yu Chin enter a small, older grey or silver car with a loud muffler. The car was headed toward the Decatur, Alabama area, which is where her son lives. Staff at the group home were informed that Yu Chin was gone, and within 15 minutes of her disappearance, the police were notified and a search for Yu Chin began. No trace of her was ever found. Her son, who lives in the Decatur area, was never contacted by his mother. There has been no mention of foul play, and authorities believe she could currently be homeless and living in shelters. At the time of this write up, she has been missing for almost twenty years and would be around 75 if still alive.
-
Barbara B. Blount - disappeared May 2nd, 2008 from Holden, Louisiana
Barbara B. Blount was a 58 year old widow who lived on the same road as her children, kept in regular contact with her family and friends, and was active in her local church. It came as a surprise one morning when her nephew came over to visit her residence in rural Livingston Parish, Louisiana, and Barbara was nowhere to be found. A neighbor had just spoken to her over the phone, and Barbara had said she was cleaning out her kitchen cabinets. By the time her nephew had arrived for a visit, the front door was wide open, Barbara's phone was lying on the floor with the battery pulled out, her car was gone, and Barbara was missing. Besides for the unusual circumstances in the home, police didn't find any proof of forced entry. A few hours later in the late afternoon, the silver four door 2006 Toyota Camry Barbara owned was found a quarter of a mile from her home. It was found 25-30 yards off the main road and out of sight, hidden by trees. No trace of Barbara was discovered, baffling friends and family who described Barbara as a cautious individual who carried a gun when she went outside to milk the cows and didn't open the door to strangers. Waterways and woods were searched in attempt to find Barbara, but nothing was ever found.

edit: ooof messed up the title.

I truly do appreciate all those who do post the studies on CCR5 and CCL5 and what the effects are of allowing and / or disallowing this chemical inter-cellular communication to and / or from happening. These studies go a long way into deciphering, unveiling and understanding the truth about this immunoregulatory communication cascade. I feel like these are akin to rays of light that shoot across the din of darkness where much is spoken, but little is said and even less heard. Most of the vast deluge of information is of minimal consequence, but the information discussing this cellular communication signal, really is of massive consequence.
For example, take this shooting star for instance: Barriers between Anti-CCR5 Therapy, Breast Cancer and Its Microenvironment and take note perrenialloser, these authors are not Chinese: by Elizabeth Brett , Dominik Duscher , Andrea Pagani , Adrien Daigeler , Jonas Kolbenschlag , Markus Hahn .
Many things are included in the article, but these are only a snippet:
"CCL5 is a potent chemokine with a physiological role of immune cell attraction and has gained particular attention in R&D for breast cancer treatment. Its receptor, CCR5, is a well-known co-factor for HIV entry through the cell membrane*. Interestingly,* biology research is unusually unified in describing CCL5 as a pro-oncogenic factor*, especially in breast cancer. In silico,* in vitro and in vivo studies blocking the CCL5/CCR5 axis show cancer cells become less invasive and less malignant*, and the extracellular matrices produced are* less oncogenic*. At present, CCR5 blocking is a mainstay of HIV treatment, but* despite its promising role in cancer treatment, CCR5 blocking in breast cancer remains unperformed*.*
As with all other forms of cancer, prognosis is strongly influenced by the clinical stage at which the cancer is diagnosed. The later the cancer is diagnosed, the more likely it is that the patient will not recover from the disease.
By acting as a classical chemotactic cytokine for T cells, eosinophils, basophils and other cells, CCL5 recruits leukocytes to the site of inflammation, induces proliferation of NK cells and is an HIV-suppressive factor released from CD8+ T cells. The receptor with the highest affinity for CCL5 is the CC motif chemokine receptor 5 (CCR5), being mainly expressed in T cells, smooth muscle endothelial cells, epithelial cells and parenchymal cells. The CCL5/CCR5 interaction facilitates inflammation, adhesion and migration of T cells in immune responses. CCR5 is involved in chronic diseases, cancers and COVID-19 infection.
There is a wealth of evidence showing that CCL5 is co-opted in breast cancer and in many other types of tumors, such as pancreatic, ovarian, prostate and glioma cancer. In vitro and in vivo tests show that blocking or knocking down CCL5/CCR5 is detrimental to tumors such breast cancer and limits metastases. The possibility of targeting the CCL5/CCR5 axis and inducing an antitumor environment is therefore real but challenging. However, a CCR5 blocker that can be part of cancer therapy has yet to be developed.
As introduced before, CCL5 is an extremely powerful chemoattractant with a physiologic role in recruiting immune cells in inflammatory or allergic circumstances CCL5 binds with high affinity to its main receptor CCR5, but also to CCR1, -3, -4, CD44 and GPR75. CCR5 is a seven-transmembrane G-protein-coupled receptor expressed on various cell types, such as T cells, macrophages, dendritic cells, eosinophils and microglia. The interaction between CCR5 and its high-affinity molecules (e.g., CCL5, CCL3, CCL4 and CCL8) results in G protein activation and a following boost of different signal transduction pathways. One of these is represented by NF-kB (Nuclear Factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer), in which CCL5 represents an important target gene.
As mentioned before, the CCL5/CCR5 interaction facilitates cancer progression through several different mechanisms. CCL5/CCR5 interaction increases tumor dimensions, induces ECM remodeling, increases cellular migration and metastasis formation, supports cellular stemness and expansion along the tumor borders, confers on cancer cell resistance to therapies, decreases DNA damage, deregulates cellular energetics (metabolic reprogramming), promotes angiogenesis, recruits immune and stromal cells and induces the immunosuppressive polarization of macrophages.
There is an unmatched level of evidence supporting the participation of all chemokines other than CCL5 in the construction, development and operation of the primary invasive breast tumor. CCL5 is also ubiquitous across breast cancer cases, being present at stages I, II and III, and over 95% of triple-negative breast tumors are CCR5+*.*
Belonging to a different pharmacological family, Leronlimab is a humanized igG4k monoclonal antibody also able to bind CCR5. Adams et al. recently reported some clinical trials testing Leronlimab in metastatic TNBC patients. The phase 1b/2 dose escalation (NCT03838367), Compassionate Use (NCT04313075) and the Basket Study (NCT04504942) were pooled in order to evaluate the drug’s safety and efficacy at 12 months. After the analysis of 28 metastatic TNBC patients, the authors showed that Leronlimab has significant antitumor activity. The clinical trials suggest that metastatic TNBC patients dosed with Leronlimab have a real clinical benefit with improved 1-year progression-free and overall survival and few treatment-emergent adverse events. Finally, after exploring the effect of Leronlimab on circulating tumor-associated cells (TACs) from peripheral blood, the authors revealed that Leronlimab resulted in a drop in circulating TACs in the majority of patients correlating with early therapy response.
Within the tumor, cancer cells secrete CCL5 and sustain the proliferation of CCR5-positive cells, recruit T-regulatory cells and monocytes, cause osteoclast activation and bone metastasis, neo-angiogenesis and cancer cells dissemination. CCR5 is therefore overexpressed in breast, head, neck, gastric, esophageal, pancreatic and prostate cancer, colorectal carcinoma, melanoma, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, acute lymphocytic leukemia and other tumors. In the clinical setting, higher cytoplasmic CCR5 staining and CCR5 receptor levels correlate with poor prognosis in breast cancer and gastric adenocarcinoma patients. Even elevated levels of its main ligand CCL5 indicate poor prognosis in breast, cervical, prostate, ovarian, gastric and pancreatic cancer and metastatic colorectal carcinoma."

But here is the bit of light only we who have those polarized sun glasses can appreciate. On 12/7/22, Cyrus puts forth CytoDyn's Plans to get Leronlimab to market. Essentially, it is the Investor Deck, filed with the SEC and it lays out his game plan for bringing Leronlimab to the people. One of the main problems with this prognostic plan is that share holders can not see it unfolding. The reason for this is that the #1 Priority of this plan is to get the clinical hold on Leronlimab Lifted. This process is shielded from shareholder sight. The other problem is that many of the remaining goals of the Investor Deck are dependent on meeting the 1st goal, the #1 priority. Therefore, they too are shielded from shareholder's view. Therefore, shareholder's can's see the plan unfolding.
This is what Cyrus said, " "9:25: We expect next year, 2023 to be catalyst driven in terms of growth and development for the company and we think that the table is set for a large number of significant developments to occur in early '23, including the submission of our complete response to the partial clinical hold for HIV, new additions to the leadership team, a corporate rebranding, and then following those events, we plan on initiating a NASH trial as well as continuing the advancement of the long acting CCR5 molecule."
However, along the way, Cyrus has thrown us a bone or two and has given us some peeks as to what is happening and proof that things are in fact unfolding as he said they would. We have learned the name of the re-branding, LivImmune. There has recently been new additions to the leadership team, Melissa Palmer, MD as new CMO and Salah Kivlighn, PhD, Clinical & Strategic Advisor. By bringing on Melissa Palmer, MD Hepatologist, it can not be said any clearer that NASH is in the near future and CytoDyn's number one clinical indication. Cyrus has been saying that NASH would be monotherapy and wouldn't be combination therapy. We know that CytoDyn can not do it alone, it is too small. We can take a little deeper look and see that Dr. Palmer has a history with TAKeda pharmaceuticals. "Dr. Palmer left Kadmon in 2015 to become Global Lead on Shire's NASH program, as well as other liver-related issues within the company, such as orphan cholestatic liver diseases PFIC Alagilles, PSC and PBC, and liver-related safety issues (DILI), and was rapidly promoted to Global Development Lead - Hepatology and led the formation of the liver safety group. Shire was acquired by Takeda in 2019 at which time Dr. Palmer was recruited as Head of Liver Disease Development at Takeda." TAK has TAK-647 which is: " Ontamalimab is a fully human immunoglobulin G2 monoclonal antibody against mucosal addressin cell adhesion molecule-1 which failed phase 3 clinical trials for ulcerative colitis (UC) and Chrons Disease, but now is in Phase 1 clinical trials for NASH."
Prior to these we had: "12:56: We have also firmly established Dr. Scott Hansen as our Head of Research and Basic Science*.* Dr. Hansen is currently an Associate Professor at OHSU. and within this newly formalized role, Dr. Hansen will support our clinical development activities, related to biomarker and assay development for future clinical trials, as well as supporting and leading some of our earlier staged efforts, geared towards the development of longer acting molecules targeted to CCR5."
We learned that CytoDyn "13:33: has also recently entered into a joint development agreement with a 3rd party Research and Development Bio-Tech company to develop long acting or more longer acting molecule CCR5 blocking.
It goes without saying that CytoDyn needs help. CytoDyn has 4 different plays, and each play is devoid of a sufficient data pool which would draw in funding for that indication. Cyrus' long term goal expressed in the Investor Deck is to build out a strong enough clinical trial data pool to present it to a partner or a buyer. So then, without any cash of our own, Cyrus' plan is to have someone else's funding, partner with CytoDyn and build for us that data pool and in the end, have exactly those same partners compete for the entirety of the resultant conglomerate, for the whole or for a part once that data pool is firmly in hand.
The same story goes for HIV-Prep and HIV-Cure which is likely being run by the 3rd party Research and Development Bio-Tech company Vir, in collaboration to develop the long acting or a more longer acting molecule of CCR5 blockade. Vir is pretty much a given with Scott Hansen's strong connections there, but I remain skeptical due to the mechanism of action of VIR 1388 working to phagocytose HIV itself by initiating T Cells to target HIV epitopes while LL blocks CCR5. This was kept secret, but somewhat hinted at by Cyrus in the 4/11/23 Webcast .
We can apply the same logic in the Oncology study being run by MD Anderson using Merck's Keytruda in combination with Leronlimab. We had all been waiting to find out what had happened with the results of the MD Anderson study, and Cyrus threw us this line: "Leronlimab is currently being trialed in combination with Keytruda (pembrolizumab) in a breast cancer xenograft model in partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Center." From here, he gave us a hint of what is to come.
It can be assumed that as these collaborations are officially announced, that is, after the hold is lifted, that there shall be share price inflection. In his astute fashion, Cyrus has given us the secrets, has only threw us some bones, but, because of the strange times we live in, and because CytoDyn has not yet met Priority #1, the share price has not yet moved.
The only thing the market "sees" is the fact that the hold hasn't yet been lifted. They are "Blinded by the Light". The shooting stars grace the night sky, but nobody sees them, because everyone is blinded by the fact that the hold hasn't yet been lifted. Clothed by the blinding light, made tone deaf by the din of bewildering and unnecessary information. They say nothing else matters unless the hold is lifted and that is what share price is saying. Nothing else matters. Nobody even reads articles on CCR5/CCL5, they are meaningless without Priority #1 being met. That is what the market says. But what does the Fox say?
That's the point though, to use this as a blinding distraction and it is working. How else do the other Priorities get put into place, if there wasn't something put in place to distract from the construction? Of course, a clinical hold provides all the blinders necessary to construct partnerships within, without disclosure of their assembly. We can be assured, that everything Cyrus put together in that Investor Deck is happening. Maybe, not exactly as he said it would. Surely, he did not count on his getting sick, but, these things happen and he will recover and get right back on it, assuredly. Cyrus gave us that plan, so we can know what is happening despite the blinding light, despite the din of confusion that would be taking place in the proximal future ahead of that Investor Deck presentation which is taking place right now. He knew, that had he not provided those prognostic words, shareholders today would be blinded, but he gave us the plan, so we could see. The Investor Deck was free of charge, yet it was prognostic. It would have been impossible to see what is happening today, had it not been for that R & D Update then. We therefore can see the events unroll as they happen which lead to the goals he has set forth there in, as we have been witnessing them happening. That Deck was crucial for our understanding. Many of us have been pointing to that Deck, but no one more so than u/Upwithstock .
When the hold lifts, the blinders will be removed and all eyes shall be opened. Until then, only ours who have heard and understand that Investor Deck know what is happening now. All others remain blind to all of which is happening. They think it is all doom and gloom, but we know, that the Investor Plan is going forward. It is not a co-incidence that Cyrus told us all these things before this long period of waiting began. Long stents of time providing hardly any information. But when information did come, it was telling of the plan unfolding. Cyrus was saying, "Don't worry, the plan is going forward." So, he got sick, but there was a backup plan and likely, this was announced in a way he wasn't planning, but it was Plan B and he had our backs regardless and there wasn't even a set back. Cyrus will be back soon, assuredly. So, we wait for him.
How much hotter will it get? Hopefully, we get a webcast soon and I think it will be indicating that all has been recently submitted. I also hope that they will announce when Cyrus returns back to his seat. My eyes are glued to every detail that happens and how it correlates with the Investor Deck. It was given to us as shareholders, so lets stay focused on it and not be blinded. The sun is bright almost every day, but we are wearing special, polarized sun glasses. We will see that Deck unfold. Just hang on to your seats, because when it begins, it will happen quickly as it has been in the planning, design and soon to be rollout stages all the while. The triggering event approaches, and we know to look for it, so be ready.

2023.06.02 22:25 ColdPuffin June 3 Garage Sales (List)

I’ve seen a few different posts about community garage sales this weekend, thought it’d be easier for bargain hunters if they were all in one list.
In no particular order, this Saturday, June 3, we have:
This weekend is also The Big Give at various churches around the city and areas around the city (website has full list of those participating).
Let me know if your community has one this weekend, and I’ll add it to the list!

2023.06.02 02:19 hackzubbard 2024 Post-Spring/Pre-Summer Recruiting Overview

We're now in that sweet spot after A-Day and before Summer OVs/Camp Season where it makes sense to take note and reflect. Remember that camp season likely changes this board dramatically and we'll see a good # of decision (both to Alabama and elsewhere) throughout June and early July.
Rankings Note: Every comic is someone's first so here's how to read/interpret/understand the rankings listed below: Commits and Top Targets will show their 247 Composite Rank, their On3 Composite, and their Comp2 Ranking, which is just the raw average of the 2 composite ranks, rounded down. This overview will just reflect the pre-summer top targets/names to know and not the full list. Summer camp season will drastically change this list (new big board in July/August)
# of 4/5* change each year but I like a little consistency so here's generally how I arbitrarily split it, based on the average year-over-year data:
5*: #1-#32
4*: #33-#350
3*: #351-#2000

QB (1 Needed/1 Commited)
Overview: Barring something crazy, a team's QB will be the most important player on the field 9 times out of 10. Bama's looked around for a potential 2nd option but is pretty content with their 5* QB of the Future already commited
Name H.S. Rank Notes
Commits
1. 5* Julian Sayin Carlsbad in Carlsbad, CA (SoCal) 247: #11 , On3: #14, Comp2: #12 One of the most "ready" prospects in the 2024 class, Julian is very skilled at every facet of QB play - might not be the highest ceiling from an NFL perspective but very likely the highest floor. Julian commited to Alabama somewhat out of the blue but has been locked in since and the Tide's primary leader on offense in this class. This is your QB of the Future.
RB (1-2 Needed/0 Commited)
Overview: Alabama has good RB depth heading into 2023 but could very likely lose both Jase and Roydell at the end of the year so 2 RBs again this cycle feels right. It's doubtful it'll have the star power of the Haynes/Young duo from '23 but I would not sleep on the 2024 targets.
Name H.S. Rank Notes
Top Targets
1. 4* Kevin Riley Tuscaloosa County in Northport, AL (Tuscaloosa area) 247: #97, On3: #102, Comp2: #99 A homegrown talent, Riley does it all, running with great balance, breaks contact and gets going in a hurry. Top 3 of Bama, Auburn, UGA - this should end up being an Iron Bowl battle that Alabama wins, though it does appear Riley might take his time. If Alabama pushes hard, he could be a summer commit.
2. 4* Daniel Hill Meridian in Meridian, MS (E MS) 247: #196, On3: #194, Comp2: #195 One of the more unique RB prospects, Daniel Hill is a big bodied guy but plays a ton of receiver as well - not a comparison but could have a Najee Harris-esque roll. Alabama is battling South Carolina here, with the Cocks having some buzz after an early Bama lean. Bama is not done here but might need to press harder.
3. 4* Nate Frazier Mater Dei in Santa Ana, CA (SoCal) 247: #76, On3: #74, Comp2: #75 One of the nation's top RB prospects with some of the best long speed, Nate Frazier will push for #1 back status in 2024. Frazier is pretty wide open currently, being highly desired by both the local west coast school and the SEC powerhouses. I'd have trouble projecting him anywhere yet but it would be really cool if it was Alabama.
WR (2-4 Needed/2 Commited)
Overview: Alabama has taken 10 non-transfer WRs over the past 2 cycles so while I think they'll take a normal # in 2024, I'd lean more towards 3 than 4 total, unless a 'best available' type wants in
Name H.S. Rank Notes
Commits
1. 5* Perry Thompson Foley in Foley, AL (Mobile area) 247: #27, On3: #29, Comp2: #28 A taller receiver, Perry thrives with straight-line speed and a suprising ability to weave through space - Thompson earned his offer last season in camp routing up 2023 5* DBs. As a high-ranking prospect, Perry is somewhat keeping his options open and will likely take visits but has repeatedly reaffirmed his commit - Alabama's steady pursuit should allow them to hold on.
2. 4* Rico Scott Bishop McDevitt in Harrisburg, PA (Cent PA) 247: #372, On3: #289, Comp2: #330 A real smooth operator - plays RB and WR and is at his best going up the field. A bit of a suprise to some, Bama had seen him previously in camp and then watched his fall progress and saw what they needed to pull the trigger. I think we'll finish in the top 150-170
Top Targets
1. 4* Amari Jefferson Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN 247: #270, On3: #288, Comp2: #279 My favorite realistic WR addition - his vertical and lateral speed POP off the screen, looks like a top 75 guy. Currently a Tennessee baseball commit, football is his likely future, as Alabama and Georgia battle it out. This will be a tough battle but one I very much hope the Tide wins.
2. 4* Aeryn Hampton Carthage in Carthage, TX (E TX) 247: #116, On3: #126, Comp2: #121 More fast than quick, Aeryn runs like a RB, weaving through traffic and hitting the jets. Aeryn has been up-front about his love for Alabama and has narrowed his list to Bama and Texas, his former commitment. Aeryn has the green light to commit but seems like a guy who could go back and forth so unclear where this ends up.
3. 4* Cam Coleman Central in Phenix City, AL (E AL) 247: #54, On3: #25, Comp2: #38 This guy's the real deal - big bodied but with slot speed and one of the best high-pointers in the class. Alabama's been trying to get him on campus and he's been uninterested, so the communication has been laid back. Cam and Perry Thompson kinda fill the same role so it's not a huge concern but Auburn is leading here and would give Hugh Freeze a real weapon.
TE (1-2 Needed/0 Commited)
Overview: I think *how* Tommy Rees constructed/called his ND offenses is a bit overblown in how his Bama offenses will look (you play with the talent you have) but Bama has been trying to find their Kyle Pitts/Brock Bowers/Michael Mayer for years now - really since OJ Howard/Irv Smith with a brief detour into Jahleel Billingsley. Alabama would like multiple bodies here if available but would really like a least one really good on in 2024
Name H.S. Rank Notes
Top Targets
1. 4* Caleb Odom Carrollton in Carrollton, GA (W GA) 247: #85, On3: #69, Comp2: #77 A true mismatch nightmare, Odom is a true receiving threat TE, big bodied with room to grow but a little slender currently. Caleb is kinda wide open at the moment but this feels like one where Bama should start to push, with UGA snagging two of their targets in Jaden Reddell and Colton Heinrich
OL (4-5 Needed/0 Commited)
Overview: Alabama brought in a big OL class in 2023, which is already living up to expectations behind the scenes. They'll try to repeat the process in 2024, as they continue to re-tool their OL room
Name H.S. Rank Notes
Top Targets
1. 4* OT Daniel Calhoun Walton in Marietta, GA (Atlanta Metro) 247: #86, On3: #106, Comp2: #96 A mammoth of a prospect, Calhoun has the look of a SEC lineman, able to play on the left or right side of the offensive line. Top 3 of Bama, UGA, and Texas but suprise suprise, this looks like another Bama/UGA battle. Feel better about Bama in this one but it's close and OVs will be big.
2. 4* IOL Casey Poe Lindale in Lindale, TX (E TX) 247: #142, On3: #134, Comp2: #138 One of the most coveted interior prospects, Poe boasts both a mean streak as well as the ability to move the center, making him about as A1 as you can get for an interior OL prospect. Top 3 currently would be Alabama, Oklahoma, and UGA. Will be a tough battle but Alabama is the perceived leader heading into visits. Bama REALLY wants him.
3. 4* OL Jordan Seaton IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL (Originally from Washington DC) 247: #41, On3: #42, Comp2: #41 Big, athletic frame who could end up playing inside or out - Seaton prefers OT but somecurrently leaning towards IOL. Ohio State was and is very involved but Bama/UGA feel like the primary players since making the move to IMG. I believe he visited for the A-Day game and it certainly seems like Bama will be an option until the end here.
4. 4* OT Marques Easley Kankakee in Kankakee, IL (NE IL) 247: #263, On3: #240, Comp2: #251 A longer and leaner tackle prospect, Bama and UGA are again involved with Tennessee being the 3rd team in the mix, as well as the possible leader. Despite the Vols' early lead, this one can really go any direction after visits.
5. 4* OT Weston Davis Beaumont United in Beaumont, TX (SE TX) 247: #180, On3: #124, Comp2: #152 A basketball-first prospect with high-upside as an OT, Davis has some interest in Bama but local programs like Texas A&M are getting some good recent buzz. Think it'll be paramount for Weston to camp.
DL (3-4 Needed/1 Commited)
Overview: Another unit Alabama's been trying to step-up, talent is a necessity in 2024
Name H.S. Rank Notes
Commits
1. 4* DE Jeremiah Beamon Parker in Birmingham, AL 247: #103, On3: #98, Comp2: #100 Alabama's most recent commitment, Jeremiah is a FORCE rushing the passer, a little undersized with plenty of room to grow before a potential reneissance. If that sounds like Quinnen Williams, it's because that's the comp he's been getting. Many thought he'd be a sooner or later kinda commit and he went ahead and stopped messing around.
Top Targets
1. 5* DE Eddrick Houston Buford in Buford, GA (Atlanta Metro) 247: #15, On3: #15, Comp2: #15 High upside, athleticism, and flexibility - bit of a tweener for the Saban defense who could slim down to an Anfernee Jennings role and add some weight to try and emulate Jonathan Allen. Another prospect that I think comes down to Bama and UGA, I feel better about Bama's chances here than with Eddrick's Buford teammate, KJ Bolden.
2. 4* DT Terrance Hibler Holmes County Central in Lexington, MS (Cent MS) 247: #281, On3: #368, Comp2: #324 A bit undersized, Terrance makes up for it with violence, punch, and pure 'want-to'. Alabama has made a great early impression, alongside local Miss State, and the Tide are in a great spot if they choose to push here.
3. 3* DE Utah Commit Isaia Faga Central in Phenix City, AL (E AL) 247: #733, On3: #676, Comp2: #704 Alabama has seen some recent success with Pacific Island players but it's rare to have one so local. Isaia excels at getting through traffic and getting into the backfield. Isaia's uncle is the Utah DL coach, leading to the early commitment, but Alabama is interested in seeing him camp and who knows where it could go from there.
EDGE (1-2 Needed/1 Commited)
Overview: The highest star rating per capita, talent is hardly a problem here but we'd love to have more.
Name H.S. Rank Notes
Commits
1. 4* Cayden Jones Christ School in Arden, NC (W NC) 247: #147, On3: #171, Comp2: #159 Alabama has been looking more and more at hybrid LB types who could end up on the EDGE or off-ball (Jihaad Campell, Qua Russaw) - Cayden Jones is another, playing a ton off-ball and walking down to the edge and will likely project into a Terrell Lewis/Dallas Turner - type role. Since last year, Cayden had been up-front about wanting the green light to commit and jumped on it when he got the chance.
Top Targets
1. 5* Dylan Stewart Friendship Collegiate Academy in Washington DC 247: #10, On3: #9, Comp2: #9 Maybe the top pure Edge guy, Dylan reminds me of Keon Keeley from last cycle; similar build, bend and length. Visits to Alabama, Ohio State, Miami, South Carolina and UGA have put all 5 in contention, similar to Keeley. I'd give the Gamecocks and Hurricanes the edge going into the summer but Alabama is RIGHT there and another visit to campus could flip the script.
2. 4* Jordan Ross Vestavia Hills in Birmingham, AL 247: #38, On3: #33, Comp2: #35 A high-end Edge, Jordan flashes natural talent that can only grow with development. A little undersized, Alabama has told him to gain weight and camp prior to a serious pursuit, giving UGA and Tennessee an early lead. This could change quickly this summer, as Jordan finds his way onto campus.
3. 5* Colin Simmons Duncanville in Duncanville, TX (DFW Metro) 247: #4, On3: #3, Comp2: #3 One of the Nation's top athletes, Simmons effortlessly flies around off the edge. LSU and Texas are battling it out thus far but Alabama will continue to work here.
LB (2-3 Needed/1 Commited)
Overview: There's somewhat of a logjam of older player at the LB position so I would expect attrition after 2023, which will need to be replaced by incoming players.
Name H.S. Rank Notes
Commits
1. 4* Sterling Dixon Mobile Christian School in Mobile, AL 247: #188, On3: #164, Comp2: #176 Similar to Cayden Jones, Sterling is another hybrid type - beginning as an edge type with some off-ball experience, Sterling will transition to ILB this offseason for Mobile Christian and then at Alabama. A long-time commit, Sterling will take some visits but there's not a huge concern there.
Top Targets
1. 5* UGA Commit Demarcus Riddick Chilton County in Clanton, AL (Cent AL) 247: #25, On3: #38, Comp2: #31 Demarcus is an excellent example of a modern LB and exactly what Alabama wants from the position: excellent weaving through traffic, sideline-to-sideline movement and can shade down to rush the passer. An early UGA commit, the strength of that commitment has wavered significantly and while there's still some work to do, the feeling is he could very likely flip to Alabama over the summer.
2. 5* Justin Williams Oak Ridge in Conroe, TX (Houston area) 247: #13, On3: #12, Comp2: #12 Similarly archetypal LB prospect: a bit slight at the moment, he makes up for it with WR-level speed and burst, making him a real weapon against a high-powered offense. Oregon, Alabama, and UGA are the likely top 3 - Bama made a good impression this spring but needs to get him back on campus ASAP - feels like UGA could swoop in here if Riddick flips.
3. 4* Bradley Shaw Hoover in Hoover, AL (Birmingham area) 247: #176, On3: #139, Comp2: #157 More of a traditional ILB, football IQ and sure tackling give him a Shaun Dion Hamilton feel. Alabama, Auburn, and UGA are the top 3 schools and this feels like Iron Bowl battle, where Alabama will win or lose based on how they push to reel him in.
DB (4-5 Needed/1 commited)
Overview: You gotta take a solid # of DBs every cycle but CB is one of the most important/most needed positions in 2024 after losses to the transfer portal.
Name H.S. Rank Notes
Commits
1. 5* CB Jaylen Mbakwe Clay-Chalkville in Pinson, AL (Birmingham area) 247: #19, On3: #17, Comp2: #18 A legitimate two-way player, Mbakwe, like Kool-Aid before him, could have been a 5* WR as well as DB but prefers defense. Jaylen is the defensive leader of the class and will be pretty instrumental in how the defensive class comes together.
Top Targets
1. 5* CB Charles Lester III Riverview in Sarasota, FL (Cent FL) 247: #16, On3: #19, Comp2: #17 An all-around athlete with the ability to play multiple DB positions, CL3 could be commited or off the board at any moment. There's a clear interest in Alabama on his end but the Tide have yet to really push, leaving the door wide open for FSU. He OVs on June 3rd so it's likely that we'll have a better idea of where Bama goes after that.
2. 4* CB Jameer Grimsley Tampa Catholic in Tampa, FL 247: #230, On3: #195, Comp2: #212 Somewhat of the prototypical Saban corner, with a long and lean build and a wingspan for days. Jameer has seen his recruitment skyrocket this spring and schools like Bama, FSU, and Penn State are pushing. Bama's got a great shot for this prospect who should continue to rise.
3. 4* S UGA Commit Peyton Woodward St. John Bosco in Bellflower, CA (SoCal) 247: #69, On3: #70, Comp2: #69 Peyton shows good play speed and flows to the target in run defense; a good balanced safety. Peyton has not been shy about letting other programs try to flip him from the Dawgs and his family is full of Alabama fans, making the Tide a very possible flip option.
4. 4* CB Zabien Brown Mater Dei in Santa Ana, CA (SoCal) 247: #57, On3: #56 , Comp2: #56 Zabien is a physical pass defender who excels at getting in passing lanes and making plays on the ball - not a specimen but a true competitor. As a Mater Dei kid, the axiom has been USC most often has first right of refusal so we'll see how the summer visits go and if Bama can/will make a push here.
5. 5* S KJ Bolden Buford in Buford, GA (Atlanta Metro) 247: #8, On3: #5, Comp2: #6 Likely the top DB in the 2024 class, KJ is how they come; a true 5* safety. UGA has a healthy lead thus far but Bama (alongside others) will have a chance to fight back during summer OVs
6. 5* CB UGA Commit Ellis Robinson IV IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL (Originally from CT) 247: #5, On3: #7, Comp2: #6 One of the stickiest DBs in the class, Ellis was the other 5* CB alongside Alabama freshman Desmond Ricks at IMG in 2023. Alabama led early but UGA got the momentum and the commitment. It's likely Ellis will take visits, including a potential OV to Alabama, but I would not predict a flip to Alabama at this time or in the future.

2023.06.01 11:40 Dowdidik En Juin, on explore l'intérieur !

Bicycle day
Never Enough. p. 150.

Jaffe JH. (1990) Drug addiction and drug abuse, in Goodman and Gilman’s the Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics (Goodman AG, Rall TW, Nies AS, Taylor P. eds) 8th ed, pp 522–573, McGraw Hill, New York.
Freedman DX. (1968) On the use and abuse of LSD. Arch Gen Psychiatry 18:330–347.

Bonomo, Y., Norman, A., Biondo, S., Bruno, R., Daglish, M., Dawe, S., … Castle, D. (2019). The Australian drug harms ranking study. Journal of Psychopharmacology, 026988111984156. doi:10.1177/0269881119841569

Luethi, D., Liechti, M.E. Designer drugs: mechanism of action and adverse effects. Arch Toxicol 94, 1085–1133 (2020). https://doi.org/10.1007/s00204-020-02693-7

No experience necessary for the laborer custodial or maintenance mechanic positions. It helps on the interview but you can surely think of maintenance related experience to relay for an interview. Based on fixing things around your house, the car etc. Always mention working safely.

Pro tip: You can apply for any job that has an exam opening and the test is administered local to yourself. Make sure you're serious and score decently; you can turn down the job offer. Keep a physical copy of your exam score, I believe they are good for two years.
The reason is: These job postings can be posted externally at capacity for testing, meaning they will not allow you to take the exam if they have enough qualified applicants. However, if you have a test score on the books, you are a qualified applicant.

Explanation of MVO/TTO to save time:
MVO= CDL B Can only drive box trucks on public roads, can drive anything for moves on postal property.
TTO= CDL A Can drive anything.

USPS provides the training. (Maintenance jobs at least. TTO and management...GOOD LUCK)

You don't have to be crazy to work here. We'll train you. Everything but proper email usage.

Amazing race. Here's a bit of a recap from training to post-race:
Training: I started preparing in earnest in February for this May race. Although I planned to do more, I maintained 50-70 miles per week for several weeks. My longest prep run was 40 miles going sub-9-minutes per mile. I'm in NYC, so in anticipation of the heat, I spent some time in the sauna, for 15-minute stints. No alcohol Feb and March, so dropped some weight. The FB page is great, with the race officials and runners posting useful info. The RD Bob Becker and Mark Cudak are fonts of knowledge. Got a Garmin Enduro 2 a week before the race because I was concerned about battery life ($750 on eBay). Happy with that purchase.
Day before race: Smooth packet pick-up and great experts panel. Great pasta primavera at Mrs. Macs Kitchen II.
Race day: I was pretty panicky on a couple of occasions before race day, which was unusual, but I am glad it happened because I was afforded the ability to work through the anxiety. Also, this is a tough fucking race and the trepidation was recognition of the seriousness of this endeavor.
In the morning, I taped my toes and heels with kinesiology tape, which allowed me to deal with blisters. Injinji toe socks did me good. Started the race with HOKA Carbon X 2.
It was crucial in the morning to bank easy miles before things got hot. Switched from a baseball-style cap to Sunday Afternoons Unisex Ultra-Adventure Hat when the sun rose. The latter hat was great because it covered my neck, and the drawstring closure held it in place. Also, when things got hot, I was happy to be wearing XOSKIN compression shorts, because I could jam ice in them.
Midway through the race, I changed into Nike Vaporfly NEXT% 2, but I would probably change into another pair of Hoka road shoes if I could do it again.
I was able to finish this race because I remained hydrated. I went through 7 Gatorlytes and a lot of Tailwind. The heat made eating uncomfortable, but I knocked back some gels and gummies. Because every runner must have a crew, and there are some stints where runners and crews can't meet, I wish I had a Salomon Soft Reservoir in my vest.
I liberally applied and re-applied sunblock. The few places I forgot to reapply sunblock, such as the backs of my knees, got pretty burned.
The final 20-30 miles were kind of lonely. Runners really spread out. My AirPods ran out of juice, and I could have used some music for motivation to run a bit quicker. Finished under 24 hours.
Post race: Fairfield Inn overbooked us, so we were sent to another hotel, which was kind of a pain in the ass. But breakfast at IHOP the next day was awesome.
This was my third 100-miler. Being from Miami, I'm very happy I did this. Great bonding experience for my family. You'll never look at the bridges the same way again. Highly recommend.

Eating an Early Dinner Can Burn More Fat, Study Finds

https://preview.redd.it/0kfpza0ld3k61.jpg?width=2500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e082a9bbdf2d89380c78c0ac0ebab5d8d79c4c8e
Eating all your meals within a six-hour window sounds like some sort of fad diet (and a recipe for midnight fridge raids). But a small new study suggests that having your dinner before 2 !)--or skipping it entirely--actually reduces hunger cravings and boosts fat burn. Before you sign on for the early-bird special, however, here's what you should know.
The study's preliminary results (not yet published in an academic journal) were presented this week at the Obesity Society's annual meeting. It's the first human trial of "early time-restricted feeding," a strategy in which people eat their last meal of the day by mid-afternoon and don't eat again until breakfast.
This type of eating plan has shown promise in animal studies; mice who are fed time-restricted diets tend to lose more body fat and have lower risk of chronic diseases than those whose meals are more spaced out. Some researchers believe that similar schedules could be beneficial for people as well, since human metabolism follows an internal clock and many aspects of it function best in the morning.
To test this strategy, researchers at Louisiana State University's Pennington Biomedical Research Center followed 11 overweight men and women, ages 20 to 45, over two four-day periods. During one period, they ate all of their meals between 8 and 2 ; during the other, they followed an average American eating schedule with meals between 8 to 8 Both diets included the same daily calorie amounts and were similar except for timing. On the last day of each diet, the researchers performed 24 hours of metabolic testing on the participants, and asked about their hunger levels.
The time-restricted diet did not affect how many calories the participants burned. But it did reduce their daily hunger swings, and increased the amount of fat they burned during several hours at night. It also improved metabolic flexibility, the body's ability to switch between burning carbohydrates and fat.
So could restricting meals to a smaller time window help with weight loss, or improve other aspects of health? The researchers don't know, but they say it's a possibility.
"We found that eating between 8 and 2 followed by an 18-hour daily fast kept appetite levels more even throughout the day, in comparison to eating between 8 and 8 ," said lead author Courtney Peterson, PhD, assistant professor of nutrition sciences at the University of Alabama Birmingham, in a press release. "It may therefore positively impact body composition both by increasing fat oxidation and by reducing energy intake," the study concludes.
Dale Schoeller, PhD, professor emeritus in the University of Wisconsin's Department of Nutritional Sciences, says the findings do suggest--for the first time in people--that meal timing have an impact on metabolism.
"With additional research on early-time restricted feeding on humans, we can create a more complete picture of whether this innovative method can best help prevent and treat obesity," said Schoeller, who is a spokesperson for the Obesity Society and was not involved in the study.
But there are also reasons to take these findings with a grain of salt, says Christine Gerbstadt, MD, RD, author of .
The metabolic effects of meal timing is an "interesting question," says Dr. Gerbstadt, but she points out that the study's test group was very small and only included young and (besides being overweight) healthy adults.
"It is unlikely that these results can be generalized to all Americans," she told after reviewing the study's abstract--especially those who are older, who have health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol, and those with poor exercise habits.
Potential risks for these and other groups--like how medications might be affected by such a schedule change--have not been studied, she says.
"The control of hunger has financial and health benefits, but I question the safety of daily fasting in all American populations," she says, referring to the long gap between dinner and breakfast. "Certainly children and adults over 50 should be warned not to try this. "
Plus, deciding to eat such an early dinner every day--or no dinner at all--would require a major change for most people, behaviorally and socially. (Doing it just once in a while wouldn't likely be recommended, as irregular meal schedules have been tied to higher levels of obesity and health complications. )
"This eating pattern does not suit the lifestyles of most," Dr. Gerbstadt says, "and may or may not be of any benefit. "

Dundar: Come in alp the alp says I have bad news a new tekfur has just been assigned to Kulachiser and he has killed the former one yorgopolis. He has already made sure to reinforce the defences of Kulachiser.
Osman: Ok do you know who he is the alp replies He is someone named Lord AYA Nikola. Osman: Aya Nikola Gunduz: You know who this is. Osman : I have heard rumours about him from the merchants in sogut they say he is one of the most best commanders in the byzantine empire he is said to have defeated the crusaders and ended their presence in Anatolia. Gunduz: Well then i think we need another plan. Dundar: now is the not the time for that most important thing is we get Ertugrul bey to Konya before its too late . Savci: my Uncle is right ill take baysungur and Abdurahman and my mother and a couple of Alps with me and leave after the Zuhr prayer Ertugrul has opened is eyes for a minute and said he wanted everyone else to stay at the tribe. Dundar: Ok then we will all go get ready for the namaz. Osman went to explain everything to the alps and beys so the army was dispersed after that. Whilst everyone else went to get ready for zuhur salah.
We cut to the Sogut Inn where Karim al din Aliser is sat on the throne chair he has a flashback years ago to when he was a child he was getting bullied by his 2 older brothers they said what a coward youll never be a bey and an alp because your such a coward and so short. Aliser tries to fight back back gets pushed to the mud in the ground whilst all the kids in the tribe and even some of the
adults start laughing. You will see who the coward is i promise i will be even better then you i will not just be a bey of this tribe i will be the founder of my own state. With this the laughter gets even louder. Whilst Aliser father the germiyanid bey says thats enough everyone mind their own bussiness and then he puts his face down in shame. The scene cuts back to the present day you will see father you will my brothers you will all see after my plan is successful you will all beg for forgiveness for the way you treated me. Just then Hassan Asks permission to come in Aliser: Come in olum. Hassan: I have news a new Tekfur was assigned to Kulachiser and he killed the previous one. Aliser : Good good looks like our temporary ally has arrived. Hassan: Are you sure we should be trusting him he is an infidel after all and he hates turks. Aliser: Can you ever trust an infidel no but you can use him for your own needs we both have a common enemy at the moment thats why. A seljuck soldier asks for permission to come in. Aliser: Hassan go see what he wants. Hassan goes outside for a minute then comes back in Hassan: You will like the news i have got i just found out tat before Ertugrul and the Kayis could leave for their conquest Ertgurul collapsed and fell sick. Aliser: Good good we are getting closer and closer Hassan: But Aliser: But what Hassan: They say he is being taken to Konya for a cure and savci and his hatun are going with him. Aliser: I will never allow that to happen well seems i will be killing two birds with one stone you will take a letter i will write about this and send it to tekfur Nikola he will sort this out and make sure no one sees the person you send we cant afford to get any suspician on us Hassan: As you order father. He then leaves and aliser has a smile on his face.
We cut to Kulachiser castle Nikola is talking to a group of soldiers the defences here were a terrible the turks could have taken this castle in a couple of hours this is why we have lost so much land to
them in the past but i will not allow this to happen again. Epharistos asks to come in Nikola: Come in sevgillim dost my good freind Epharistos with his brother walk in Epharistos: There is a letter for you. Nikola takes it and reads it and smiles well Epharistoz today is the day you finally get your revenge on ertugrul and his sons. Thomas: What do you mean. Nikola: I mean that Ertugrul is sick and is being taken to Konya for treatment you two however will not allow that to happen now here is the plan Epharistos you will take soldiers with you and ambush Savci bey ertugrul son and kill him and ertugrul the second you get the chance kill everyone with him too but whilst the fighting is going a soldier will dress up as an alp and go to the kayis and tell them about an ambush but you will take them the wrong way and thats where Thomas you will ambush Osman and Gunduz and whoever else they send to rescue Ertugrul and savci and kill them all. And whilst you all do that i wil attack the kayis main base where they keep their weapons i found thei rlocation after one of allies had infiltrated the kayi tribe and found out the bases location. Epharistos: Ok but who is this ally Nikola: laughs with his iconic laugh you will find out soon. The scene ends with nikola music.
We are back at the kayi Tribe where savci and halime are about to leave with Ertugrul in a horse pulled carriage Osman: Have a safe journey inshallah and let us know when you reach there. Savci: We will brother will dont worry and he is also says please dont get into trouble Osman while he smiles Osman smiles back inshallah abim. They all says their goodbyes and halime sits outside the tent and they savci, baysungur and Abudrahman leave the tribe. After they are gone the remaining beys who are gathered outside discuss what they do about the traitor and Nikola. Osman: We should give a response soon they wont think we will attack now whilst all this is going on. Dundar: Now is not the time Osman people are sad Osman: Actually now is the best time Gunduz cuts in between you both have good points but i think we should wait till we find out who are enemies actually are and we learn more about this Nikola.
The scene goes to Savci and Baysungur talking as they rise their horses Baysungur: We should reach tomorrow at around the morning time. Savci: Inshallah Just then an arrow is fired and hits an unnamed alp Savci: Ambush. Protect our bey. Everyone gathers by the carriage carrying Ertugrul on both sides we see soldiers running down a hill with the music from season2 of the actual KO where the byzantiens charge in the battlefield in the first episode. As the soldiers all run down Epharistos appears in the middle with a horse and gets off Epharistos: The Journey ends here turks Savci: Not whilst i am here you heathens. Kalanoz: Kill them all both sides face off whilst a couple of alps stay by the carriage and fiight savci takes out several soldiers as well as baysungur and abdurahman who is stood by the carriage. Whilst the fight is going on finally Savci encounters Epharistos KALANOZ what a future these two have in store for them. Epharistos: You must be the son of that shepherd Ertugrul. I am Ertugrul bey oglu savci and you are Epharistoz: I am the son of the man your father killed in Kharachiser conquest i am the son of former commander Kostas of tekfur ares that traitor. and the main commander to the honrable lord Aya Nikola. Savci: I will eliminate you and send your head to your master. Kalanoz: you wont even have a grave you turk after i am done with you i will kill your dear father and then the rest of your family and bloodline till theres none of you left. Savci: We will see about that come at me you heaten and the two get their swords ready to face each other.

We cut to Kulachiser castle Nikola is talking to a group of soldiers the defences here were a terrible the turks could have taken this castle in a couple of hours this is why we have lost so much land to them in the past but i will not allow this to happen again.
