Welp, I never thought I’d be going through this but alas I’m being thrown into WITHDRAWAL. My PM doctor who I have been with and followed around NW OHIO bought a new practice again. Which I was excited about since they have a office nearby now (there’s 5 altogether but I was driving an hour before) I was given a new NP, why I couldn’t tell you. But anyway we are talking and I have the spinal stimulator. For my condition I should have never received it. My type of Muscular Dystrophy destroys my nerves so instead of getting relief from it I’m in pain. She was telling me that she can get that removed for me and she would use another surgeon….Awesome, great. Then my meds came up. I’m in constant pain. I have Chronic Pain Syndrome. There’s absolutely NO CURE FOR MY DISEASE. I fought for 10 years to get my correct diagnosis (I was told at 32 that I had ALS since women didn’t get the X gene, I was told that I had Parkinson’s disease) so I went through a lot. Well my doctor finally got me comfortable. The new NP said that I didn’t need my main pain medication and that I should be ok with just my break through medication which is 5mg oxycodone every 6 hours. This was Tuesday. I have been trying to get ahold of my regular doctor since then. I have 5 days worth of the main medication which is Subutex. Sorry for the misspelling. She said that I won’t go through withdrawal and I can basically just stop taking it. Lurking on Reddit, and also seeing family members who have taken this to get off of H, I know there’s a withdrawal. Also 4 5mg oxycodone is not going to help. I am in a group called The Pain Warriors. They fight for people like us. The DEA recently recognized that us legit chronic pain patients, and even people who were coming out of surgery were not getting the relief we deserved and actually changed the dosage of what is allowed again. I am already feeling like crap since I’ve cut my dose in half so I can stretch it out. When you’re doctor is ignoring you, and you’re being fed a bunch of bull (I have been taking all of this pain stuff seriously and I try to find groups and people who are fighting for us) I don’t know now what to do. I have kids to take care of, I’m a single mom, and I have no family to help. I can honestly say that this time, I’m scared to death. I don’t want to be in constant pain. I want to be able to function. I’m not going to be able to move. Guys I’m afraid

I'm trying to install a kubernetes cluster on my server (Debian 10). On my server I used ufw as firewall.Before creating the cluster I allowed these ports on ufw:

179/tcp, 4789/udp, 5473/tcp, 443 /tcp, 6443/tcp, 2379/tcp, 4149/tcp, 10250/tcp, 10255/tcp, 10256/tcp, 9099/tcp, 6443/tcp

As calico doc suggests (https://docs.projectcalico.org/getting-started/kubernetes/requirements) and this git repo on kubernetes security too (https://github.com/freach/kubernetes-security-best-practice).
But when I want to create the cluster, the calico/node pod can't start because Felix is not live (I allowed 9099/tcp on ufw):

Liveness probe failed: calico/node is not ready: Felix is not live: Get http://localhost:9099/liveness: dial tcp [::1]:9099: connect: connection refused

If I disable ufw, the cluster is created and there is no error.
So I would like to know how I should configure ufw in order for kubernetes to work.If anyone could help me, it would be very great, thanks !

My partner (24F) and I (25M) have been together for 5 years. We have been talking about enm and polyamory for a majority of our relationship and last year have acted on that more intently. We started flirting with other people, trying to encourage each other, and to take an opportunity if one arises.
On Monday, someone I have known for two years asked me out on a date for yesterday (Thursday) and I said yes. I got home and was excited to tell my partner and she was excited to hear all about it. We talked about any rules or boundaries we would like to set up now that things have moved from just theories to actually happening.
The day before the date we sat down for one more check in, and that's when things ended up revealing themselves. They still have issues with insecurities on themselves, the thought of abandonment, and the change that this will do for our relationship. I was happy that she shared all of this, and we ended the discussion on a better note than we started on, but I still had worries and doubts about how she would react to the date.
Welp, I went on the date. My partner helped me get ready, we were both nervously excited for it, but I could tell that there was another layer added to that for her. The date was wonderful, they are very open and comfortable with polyamory, and are new to it themselves. I definitely want to see this person again, and potentially move toward something consistent.
When I got home, I found out my partner had been having a rough time throughout the night and had a panic attack while I was on the date. She felt bad for having these insecure feelings as she doesn't want her emotions or feelings to affect what steps or actions I take moving forward into my own dating life. She didn't want to talk about the date and we went to bed.
Now I am awake, currently typing this out, having a lot of anxiety about how things will move forward. I love her, I want what's best for her, and I want to respect her emotions, but I also want to explore the other relationship and my feelings as well.
I'm looking for advice on if I am missing any signals, if I am pushing her to move into ENM and polyamory, if I should call it off with the date and not see them again, if feeling positive about everything while she isn't feeling great is part of this, if anything, I need help.

So i finished my first proper kdrama, Befor this i have tried many kdramas but for some reason i lost interest in them for various reasons.Like goblin,itawon etc.One of the biggest reason was extra cheesy dialogues or you can say cringe acting.This also had some but cheese but in perfect amount.Also what i liked was that every character had their moments,and it was a journey.Bleave me after some episodes i didn't cared much about ending ,I just enjoyed spending time with my favourite set of character.When it was about to end i stretched last two episodes for about a month ,just so i could spend extra time with this.

So, I interpret the following things all as S brake, or Si PoLR. Still, I somehow think I could write as much about my personal experience with F brake, or Se PoLR. Framing it in Socionics jargon, it feels like my cognition abandoned Sensation in general, inflating Intuition to the maximum and balancing it out with strong E-L (FeTi), neglecting P-R (TeFi).
Before you think that I think this was something cool, like Intuition from MBTI or even ""16p"", lol, I want to emphasize that what this primarily means is that I hate facts and sources with disgust; instead, I need to think up everything in my own images, thoughts, words, metaphors or analogies from the bottom. This may sound like special unicorn energy, but in reality it just is inefficient, hated in academia, and generally gets you nowhere (especially according to Gamma values, lol). Everything has to be my idea, truly living inside of me; otherwise it's worthless external bs I ignore as a whole. Researching for my bachelor's thesis soon will mean horror for me, as you might imagine now.
My life is one big concatenation of random special interests on which my obsessive tunnel-vision focuses. (Typology is one of them.) My parents told me this behavior was already present at an early age with all kinds of weird eruptions. Only now, for about the last 5 years, this paradigm shows its downsides.
Currently, one phase can take up to 5-6 weeks, in which I sleep around 4 hours per night, dreaming of nothing but the current thing, and doing nothing else whenever possible while awake. It comes close to mania. In such phases I dissolve in my interests, neglecting everything from hygiene, sleep, food and social contact. However, from the outside I may seem functional: I don't miss work and keep a collected appearance; but everything which has no immediate negative consequences gets reduced to the bare minimum.
When focusing on sensations in a lighthearted way, I realize my general sensitivity:

easily blinded; even on darker winter days my eyes turn into slits making the muscles in my cheeks tense and uncomfortable over time
skin is easily burned
irritated by smell but good nose
even worse with sounds but good ears
precise tongue: people sometimes are surprised when I taste subtle differences in recipes

I (unconsciously) am continuously fleeing from sensation in life by keeping a mentally over-active, even draining state. I always had a very good focus, making it possible to point all of my attention on one thing for a long period of time. This makes me forget my body about 95% of my life. Problems arise in these remaining 5%, leaving me with all kinds of hypochondriac phenomena, weird body sensations, excessive fears of dying and generally an over-reaction to the smallest signal from inside.
I don't like going to the doctor because I fear I will become a person who will run there every other day due to some worries that all turned out to be nothing serious anyway. However, the last time I was there I had to go as I felt pressure on my chest still days after a severe panic attack (, that I did not recognize as a panic attack back then). My doctor asked me if I ever thought about autism and my mind immediately was like: You wot mate? Don't you realize my Fe is strong af?!
However, I see now that me being somewhere on the spectrum is at least likely, and I'm just very experienced at what psychology calls "masking". After telling my parents, they researched autism themselves and now they regret that they didn't knew about it and how it generally plays out back when I was younger. They are both sure I "have it", while I myself am not fully convinced.
Seeing how large parts of the community portrait E (or Fe) sometimes is irritating from my perspective. I'm not that much of a people person. I can be - all my life I half-consciously worked on a system what makes people tick; something I like to envision as a mental mosaic of the general person in which every shard represents a single experience of mine, all connecting to one picture - but it's very exhausting for me. People tend to like me while naturally I'm more edgy in the not so cool way. I'm sure this community wouldn't type me as EIE if you knew me in real life, but after learning so much about myself with the help of typological framing, I don't care anymore about the label. (As the seriousness of my flair[s] suggests.) <:-)

I have my Eraser Dragon tank Max lvl 40, with its skin unlocked. It ask me if I would like to "use" it. Once you click that button, it attaches the skin, but not sure what does this even mean. You can see from my photo the button now says "release". I figure the skin was a feature to change the look of your tanks, as if you had multiple Eraser tanks you could use the same stats, pets, gems with the different look??? BUT I AM SHOCKED TO SEE THERE ARE STAT BOOSTERS!!
What are the functions for the skins exactly?
Does anyone know how to increase your skin % percentage stats higher in other to stack it further on your already max level tank? 🤔 🤷‍♂️

I'm creating a TCG based around RPG-like mechanics which has been in development for over a year by now, but recently I started asking myself a question about the battle system. I'll give you a brief explanation on how it works.
The basic idea, which had been already established since the very beginning and won't change, is having a pool of 8 diverse characters per player always battling 2 vs 2 (kinda like a competitive Pokémon game, but with separate turns). Before the game starts, your characters are separated from the "spell" cards (which I named "action cards" and must be 25 according to the current rules); while the action cards deck is shuffled and your hand will be drawn from there, you can choose the order of the cards in your character deck, which won't change during the game unless you switch out one or an effect allows you to do so (even if there's like 3 of them at maximum between more than 340 cards). Once the order is decided, both players set their 2 lead characters face-down and draw 4 cards, then they are revealed and the game starts with the first draw.
After a main phase where you can play cards from your hand or switch out characters from the deck, you are forced into a battle phase where characters can use a huge variety of damaging, healing or status moves (even if the starting player can't use damaging moves on their first turn), which I implemented with a pretty unique method (at least I haven't seen it done by anyone else) that I won't spoil until the game's release because I'm kinda proud of this idea and I don't really want it to be stolen. If a character gets damaged over their max HP threshold it's knocked out and sent into a KO zone with 2 slots, which eventually leads to them moving to the bottom of the character deck again (if you played Pokémon Duel you can have a good enough comparison in mind), and they are replaced by the character on the top of the deck. You might notice that this way a player will never run out of characters to send out (and the action cards, which are pretty much all hard once per turn, are put under your deck after being used too, there's no graveyard or discard pile), and this is intentional as the game actually has a points system. You start with 50 points and you will use them to activate action cards and use moves, but you can also lose them if one of your characters is knocked out and you can gain them if you knock out one of the opponent's characters (each character has a "cost", which, a bit counterintuitively, is actually the amount of points you gain/lose when they're defeated, or can be paid for switching out, not a toll you pay for letting them in), with the obvious loss if you run out. And here's what made me think.
Since all of the points costs are drawn from the same pool (which loses you the game if it runs out), there are really few ways to gain extra points other than by knocking out characters and they are generally very restricted, the character costs are pretty low and due to a big health buff I gave to each character (nearly doubling the healthpools, due to a miscalculation by me in early development where I didn't consider the option of double targeting a character), knocking out an opponent without losing more points than what you will gain from defeating them is nearly impossible even by exploiting type weaknesses, status conditions (there's 10 of them in this game) and damage buffs. This actually works in its own way as is for now, putting a soft time limit to each game and encouraging the player to manage carefully their move choice, but what I fear is this turning a future competitive scene into either a stall slugfest (another reason why I limited point gain so much), where the meta is stacking damage reduction effects while healing off all the damage dealt and waiting for the opponent to run out of points to knock them out (if you don't have enough points to attack with a character, that character skips the attack and you gain 1 point), or a total bloodshed where the life expectancy of each character is half a turn at best.
As such, I had the idea of introducing a separate pool of points for move selection only. This idea, even if not implemented yet, turned in my mind into a mechanic like SMT Liberation Dx2, where each character has 10 MP per turn and they recover 3 at the start of your turn, but shared between the active characters (you have a maximum amount of 10 points to attack with both characters, maybe with various amounts of points recovered depending on the character). The idea looked interesting to me despite
Since that would imply recreating the card layout and there's quite a lot of stuff to fit into each card already (name, cost, artwork, HP, stats, ability, signature moves, type interactions), as well as having to rewrite a lot of already existing effects, I'm asking: what would you do if you were to design this game with me?

Keep the current system where move costs are drawn from the same pool as points lost/gained for KOs and action card costs, encouraging resource management but with the potential risk of polarizing the game.
Move to a system where move costs are drawn from a separate pool, with or without a consistent recovery, but with the need to rework tons of existing cards and potential for unclear interactions.

2023.06.09 16:36 aaaaabbbbbbc Please diagnose me/tell me if you went through something similar and how you fixed it. I can’t see a doctor right now and I have no free clinics near me. (F19) Been losing a lot of clumps of hair since December and it looks so different compared to what I used to have.

It’s really depressing but I’m hoping you guys can help me, I really miss my old hair. My head is itchy but only on the top of my head, and no dandruff. Some of my scalp is tender and it hurts to move my hair sometimes. I lose heavy clumps in the shower but dispersed around my head. My doctors ruled out this being a health problem, (normal estrogen, testosterone, cortisol etc.) but i don’t know what the issue with my scalp is. I just moved and don’t have any doctors near me at all, all I have to go off of is the normal labs from my last physician.
Also a side question, can anyone recommend shampoos/conditioners in general? I used drugstore ones which I know are bad for your hair, so I switched to olaplex a week ago because my cousin had some extra, but my hairs gotten worse/stringy since using it. Maybe this is a question for a separate post, but if anyone has any recommendations I’m open to any! I’ve heard kerastase was a good brand, a little bit out of my price range though.

On the new map there should be more of an interactive environment like for the zoo make it to where you can let predators out of the cages maybe function as mini bosses or for the police station let AI convicts out in orange jump suits just for extra chaos seeing either of these would tip off other operators that someone has been to the zoo or station but for me and the boys it would just be really cool to see

I'm starting to need a much bigger desk because I have two setups: two monitors and a laptop for work and one monitor with a CPU for personal/gaming use. I've been eyeing an Uplift desk but they are quite expensive and the sit-to-stand function isn't particularly needed. I know I could get two large desks and place them perpendicular in the corner, but my dog likes to hang out under my desk in the corner and the extra desk legs would block his corner. He's a good boy and deserves to keep his favorite daytime napping spot.

My brain has been addled by Italian history, where powerful family dynasties bent institutions in a delicate dance with a multitude of other parties. I understand that the mechanism by which there was a tendency for a state to revert to some sort of "Republican" government if the local ruling dynasty extinguished itself is probably a wholly Italian phenomenon. But in the Early Modern Period, it was just as likely that there was a local aristocrat poised to step in. Where this didn't happen, it was usually because outside powers like France, Austria, and Spain intervened to usher in sympathetic monarchs at musket-point.
I just cannot fathom the mechanism by which in the early 18th century a seemingly random aristocrat in Kiel named Peter could be courted by the courts of Finland, Sweden, and Russia to become monarch without anyone forcing them to. What did Peter bring to the table? Why was he preferred over local, presumably better-connected aristocrats?

One of the things that we have been pondering over lately is whether or not we should open up our API so that third party reddit clients can connect to Spyke instead of reddit in the future. Hello, Lacey, beautiful 11f torbie, here.
When people come to house little sister Pippa (not so smart 3F orange tabby) gets scared and hides, but Lacey bravely goes to greet visitors. Lacey always ask for pets and then go bap bap when they lets their guard down! Lacey needs to let visitors know she is not nice kitty and not to mess with her. This maybe also help to protect dumb little sister, Lacey thinks. Sometimes Lacey even go bap bap to grandmommy even though she already knows Lacey is in charge. It lots of fun to trick her into thinking Lacey actually wants pets this time but then still go bap bap!
Also used to go bap bap to stupid stepdad’s head when he sat on couch all the time when me and mom moved to apartment with him. Make sure he know Lacey is still boss of apartment and do not like him. But then mom and stepdad bring home little sister Pippa. Not so smart Pippa don’t know how to retract claws so Lacey stop modeling bad behavior when Pippa around. Still go bap bap to stepdad when he tries to steal moms attention when I cuddling her, but he definitely deserve it then.
Thinks maybe ITC but thats is ok because torbitude rules and maybe being the cloaca is more funs!

After a hiatus in I’m wanting to get back into 40K. I started back at the release of 5th and I’ve kept painting but have not regularly played since early 8th Ed. (Tried 2 pick up games in mid 9th but only opponent was a WAAC guy who ran net lists) and have only loosely kept up with new rules since. With 10th practically here I would like to clarify something.
With the limit of only 6 of the same “battleline” units I am limited to only 6 infantry squads, I could have 6 infantry and than 6 Cadian/Krieg squads as they are separate, correct?
