I am MS student with non it background.Currently i am working as a student with a professor. I have got a thesis opportunity related to Data Science project at the same place. I also want to shift my career to data science. I want to know what online courses/ certifications and skills should I acqurie alongside my working student positon that can make me Job Ready in this field in the span of 6-8 months.

i am using windows 11 and i downloaded battlefield 5 through gamepass it used to be that whenever i tried to open it it would open a black screen, maxamise the screen, then close then after a few days of trying evreything ive seen on online forums, reddit, youtube, aswell as reinstalling it several times and trying the built in repair feature, now it just says "your game failed to launch, an error on our end caused your launch to fail. try again a little later." it does not happen for all games, i recently played battlefield 1 with no problems and battlefield 2042 with only crashing a few times allthough that is likely due to my potato pc .im stumped and i dont know what to do i would appretiate any suggestions or fixes very much, thanks in advance

5) Contemplate the love slogans “Profound health…” “now for ALL!”.
And 6) return again to mindfulness and meditation.
7) As your stamina builds, this cycle of exercises three through six
could be repeated for 2, 4, or even 8 sets.
8) Seal the practice by chanting the Four Immeasurables; repeat these eight steps every twelve hours and you could meditate like a Jedi

I couldn’t find a straight answer. Is the current bonus supposed to be increased chance at XL candy when transferring? Or increased number of candy? I’ve done a bunch of transfers and it didn’t seem like I had increased chances, and just got 1 xl candy when I did get it.

ETA: Okay I just found a post here on nashville which clarified that I shouldn't face any big consequences (the comment from the user "freemytree" made me feel better, I'm not sure how to tag that user to thank them though because I'm very much a Reddit newb), but I would still like to know what will happen in the ticket situation.... Soooo I may be massively overthinking this but I am a champion-level overthinker so that's normal for me. If I'm not overthinking it though, I'm super worried that I made a huge mistake.
I got my registration renewal notice prior to my license plate (the original old white and green one) expiring in October, but I really did not want to get the new standard TN plate (the dark blue one) because I wanted to get a specialty plate instead. However, you have to go to the county clerk office in person if you want to get a new specialty tag which, between my work schedule + traveling a lot for work + being out of the country for a chunk of the winter, I did not have time to do until today (I know, I know - I could have forced a way to make time.... but I didn't and I can't go back and change that now).
Yesterday, I came back to my legally-parked car and was surprised to see a ticket - it was for having an expired registration. I was annoyed because I knew I was planning on going to get my new plate today, but I couldn't have known that a cop would see my plate and ticket me while I was at work the day before I was planning on (finally) getting a new plate.
So I went to get the plate today and I mentioned that I had been out of the country for a chunk and was sorry that I was so late getting the registration renewed. The gal who helped me was super understanding and handed me an affidavit to sign stating that I had not driven the car (it also said had not received any citations) since the registration expired as if that was totally fine - I told her that I had in fact driven the car but she just said "yeah it's fine, thanks for your honesty but it's all good, just sign this" and I honestly didn't know what to do at that point so I just didn't mention the ticket. Then she deactivated my old license plate number, I paid for the new license plate, and I left (absolutely panicking in my overthinker brain). I tried to pay the ticket online, but it wouldn't go through. I even called the ticket office people and they said it just isn't in the system yet and to try again next week.
My question is this - am I going to get into serious trouble if it becomes clear that I'm paying a ticket on what is now a deactivated license plate because I signed that form?? Or is it more likely that I will just pay the ticket and move on with my life and everything will be fine?

TL;DR - Didn't renew license plate after it expired because I wanted a specialty tag, got a ticket on my parked car yesterday for expired registration, got a new tag today and was made to sign a form saying I hadn't driven or received a citation on the car and was told it was fine even though I told the lady that I had driven it, now I'm worried that I'll get into serious trouble trying to pay the ticket on my now-deactivated old license plate.

EDIT: Some progress. It seems the Pixel was several months behind on both security and play system updates. Updating those has allowed me to progress through place where I was stuck previously, but now, once I select what data I want to transfer, it says copying data, then immediately fails to copy everything, and I can't seem to get it to actually copy. I've tried a couple different cables to no avail. New thoughts would be appreciated!
TL;DR: Trying to copy data from iPhone to Pixel 6a, keeps getting stuck preparing to copy data, tried a miriade of things to no avail, looking for suggestions if anyone's experienced something similar.
I'm not sure if anyone has a solution or thoughts to this, but I've already searched the subreddit history and haven't found anything helpful.
I'm helping someone set up their new 6a from their old iPhone SE 2, and every time I get to the "copy data" page, I get stuck. I plug the two phones in together, and it acknowledges they're connected but then when it gets to "preparing to copy" it just spins endlessly and makes no progress at all.
I've tried multiple different cables (both USB-C and A), and even factory reset both phones (then resetup the iPhone from an iCloud backup).
Obviously some data can transfer manually, but the key thing missing right now is that I have no other way to transfer their entire text message history, which is why I can't use the wireless transfer setup.
We've been working on this for the better part of 3 days and had no progress. Of course, when talking to Google support, their only suggestion is to call Apple to have them help, and obviously Apple (understandably) says to call Google, so that support loop is entirely unhelpful.
If anyone has anything to try that we maybe haven't tried yet or has dealt with something similar please let me know. I've loved Pixel for years, but for a first time user this is becoming a truly heinous experience.

Hey all, I’ve got a letter through the post saying that I owe money to them, £254 and change, and that I can repay in a number of ways
The letter goes on to say that if they don’t hear from me, they’ll either instruct my employer to make deductions from my wage, or ask a debt collection agency to collect the money
So backstory,
in 2020 I was in the process of getting made redundant from my job (been there 7 years, if that’s relevant) and I was panicking about what to do next, so I decided to sign on for my national insurance contributions after the date I’d left the job
I managed to find somewhere else pretty quickly but because we were in the middle of lockdowns, I still received JSA + my wage from my new job
I couldn’t get through to a member of staff, I’m pretty sure the offices were closed, so I had to email to let them know to cancel my claim
6 weeks went by before they stopped, and my tax code had changed to 1145L (or along those lines, that’s what it is now) from the 1257L one because i thought I was repaying the cash anyway as extra tax
I don’t want to ignore it but it feels like I’m paying it back twice if I do repay early

When in retroarch under any core for nes, snes, ps1, etc., I change full screen to off under settings-video. I then change the scaling of the window to 4:3, which it works and go to an actual 4:3 square like size. Then every game after I do that, doesent operate smoothly at all…and is laggy.
But when I switch it back to full screen on, everything works fine. But I prefer a 4:3 ratio and that scaling option doesent work when full screen is turned on for some odd reason in Retroarch. When 4:3 is selected it just stays a fully filled out screen on the 16:9 Samsung TV, the actual screen size does not go down to an actual 4:3 square like it would with full screen turned off.
Anyone exp this? Any help is appreciated.

Just watched a poker blog by Brad Owen, and he cashed in a tourney for 100k. It looked like he got paid out in cash.
Im playing a WSOP tourney in July (I won't be winning anything), so I'm curious what the options are for cashing out? What do most people do? What would be best for a one time tournament player to do. I can't walk around, or get back on the plane with big stacks of hundreds.
Just curious, what are the SOPs of cashing out a big win.

Hello everyone, so as the title says I'm looking for friendship. I haven't had a friend in... Probably 10 years maybe longer.

I have holdings in Ally and find that they were not mentioned in the original 8K or the supplemental 8K as a broker notified by Sorrento. With that in mind I transferred all holdings in Ally to Fidelity. It sounds like Fidelity is on the right track and there is an office on the north side of Columbus, Ohio, close to me.
I don't want to take any chances and will surely due my share supporting the BIG SQUEEZE.

So I'm still fairly new to bass, been playing for a little while and absolutely loving it, and I love my trbx504, think it's just wonderful.
I was thinking of picking up a cheap second bass to learn to do maintenance myself, and to modify and make my own, so was wondering about some solid bases (lol) to start off with where I can change pickups, maybe wiring, tuners, bridge, controls, etc and just build up to something fun and unique, and different than my 504? Might even end up changing the neck if I can find some affordable ones. Will also act as sort of a practice run for things like changing strings, doing a full setup on my own and all that kind of stuff, so then I'll feel more confident doing it on my nice, expensive (to me) main bass.
Was thinking a cheap passive pj (maybe just a p bass) to have a different option and set of pickups, give a bit of tonal variety, so I was looking into a full scale ibanez talman which I can get for around £200. There's also cheap Harley Benton basses that can go all the way down to like £95, and some east cost basses which are in the middle. Squier affinity series are also around that sort of price range I believe. If someone has any reason that a j bass might be better then I'll definitely take a look into some, but I really like that mids heavy bass tone that seems to be very common with p pickups. Think the talman is probably my first choice right now despite being on the more expensive side, I think they look great and ibanez is a big name so the quality should still be decent.
For pickups I really like the sound demos I've heard of the dimarzio model P's. Don't really know much about bridges or tuners, so that'll be fun to research but switching to something lightweight could be good just for playability.
Was also thinking maybe a 5 string? I listen to a fair bit of metal and heavy rock, and 5 strings just offers lower options without having to mess with the tuning on my yammie. Maybe even something short scale lime the TMB35.
If anyone has any ideas for additional mods that I haven't thought about I'd love to hear them? Or any mods you've done to your own bass that were/weren't worth it and why? Just seems like a fun little project that will end up with me having two nice, different basses.

This is the first time I've actually came across this problem, never in my life had windows 10 suddenly asked me to change my PIN.
Now, even if I remove the old PIN and reinstate it again as the new PIN, this stupid Windows Hello keeps saying-
"Provide a PIN that meets the complexity requirements. Your PIN must be 6 characters long"
I've been using this PIN for ages now, and all of a sudden, windows 10 asks me to change my PIN. Like, what the hell?
Is it possible to disable the PIN requirements? I've tried searching online for how to do it but they don't help my case.

I've been assembling these battle boxes from sets with 4-5 precons to bring to my local LGS, and I'm wondering if there's any good suggestions for what I could pack these decks in. I've tried the Stanley toolboxes and use them for my normal EDH decks, but for what I'm looking to do they are just too big. Has anyone had any success with something smaller? I would need storage for life wheels, dice, and 4-5 decks. Eventually I'd like to customize the outside so each box can be like a little trip to the plane each set if from!

Hi all, I have my first medspa consult this Thursday. The clinic is recommended by a doctor friend who goes there and looks super natural/not over done so I feel confident in their safety and reputation.
I’d love to know if there were/are questions you know to ask or wish you had asked when you first embarked on things like Botox- or other MedSpa services?
I’m 38, primary concerns are fine lines and signs of aging, with potential interest in laser for hyperpigmentation down the line. I’m especially concerned about looking not like myself so want to go very light handed.

I have a new lease as of September 2022 I have a 2022 ford f 150. I have been having problems with my door sensors, it causes my horn and lights to go off s if someone is breaking in. today they said they think the solution is a door latch. Which is on back order with no estimated time. They are going to remove the horn fuse so the alarm doesn’t have a horn but my horn still works while driving. Do I have to accept my vehicle back and drive it like this or can I keep my rental till it’s fixed it is a everyday issue disabling the horn only minimizes the noise not the lights. Please help

I’ve had sharp stomach pains all day I was pretty sure it was gas but all of a sudden I’m really burning up I feel n* but I’ve barely eaten all day so I don’t know whether it’s because of that. I feel like I’m on the verge of a panic attack. I told my boss today that I didn’t feel well and she said “as long as you’re in tomorrow” because tomorrow is a really important day so I’m paranoid that if I have a sb* then I’ll disappoint my boss.
