As per title two mates moved into rental having said they have small dog, all references said as much, they were accepted and all moved in, now 2 weeks later they've been given breach notice... Not sure what was on the lease agreement, and that's probably gonna make a difference of a sort.
In my experience the RTA have been pretty good for tenants rights, and I know the process is gonna be getting them involved, but does anyone have any advice or input into this or similar situation?
If they have to move out they don't really have a place to go locally (southern cairns area) and will have to come back to Brisbane to stay with family and friends for a bit.
In my opinion if they have to leave, the real estate should be covering many costs, at the very least giving back the rent already spent, as well as full bond and no ongoing cost to find other tenants.

I really do think that they are a good couple. They both seem to be very genuine people. The only thing that turned me off is during the time when Brett was gasing up Tiffany to her friends. He mentioned how he can’t believe how someone that attractive is so caring and loving. In other words meaning just based off the fact that someone who is really attractive means they are not capable of being loving and caring towards others..? My question of the day really is, if psychosis can be caused by deficiencies and medical problems a-z, why do they always just send me to a ward or behavioural clinic in episode? I would be way more interested in knowing why my heart rate is 200 etc. I genuinely believe my psychosis is caused by a medical problem but I get treated like I'm a lifelong schizophrenic everytime I end up in a place, I think because the problem is just that rare?? I am beyond frustrated. Not to mention the drugs they put me on literally always make me feel fucking worse or legitimately just make me even more confused or further from reality. I feel like I got ripped from maybe actually getting a diagnosis into the hands of a bunch of mental pseudoscience where the science is we're going to try every medication that we have access to in our unit and see which fucks you up the least so you can sign saying you were treated and leave, and if you refuse meds we're just gonna court order you in the name of we're doctors you're the patient and you are entirely defenseless in your state of confusion. If I could sue the first place I'd been I would. Doctors don't need to have complete control over me because I'm determined to be unfit, just to give me huge shots of medications I've never had and made me physically unable to sleep for months on top of at that point truly actually looking fully fucking mental for the first time in my reserved homely little life. Not only that but how about that extra fuck you if you have rent, bills, kids, or an animal at home. Thankfully I don't have kids I can only imagine what a first episode caused by probably B12 or some shit that they decided to uproot you and your children's entire existence off of. I can't and won't trust someone just on the fact they're a doctor, I think it's ridiculous that we have no hand in our own treatment, even with people on the outside communicating with doctors for us. Hello everyone, So i got self ligating braces 3.5 months ago due to overcrowding and got 4 premolar extractions. My lateral incisors are behind ( not completely) the two central one( which is the main reason i got braces in first places) My dentist has put the brackets but have not yet engaged the lateral ones😩i feel like there is enough space atleast on left side. Is this normal? I asked him and he said he need 1 mm on either side before he does it. Also how long will it take for lateral incisors AFTER they get engaged with wire to get in alignment after theres enough space for them to come out from your personal experiences! It Would help to know

I went to a café the other day, and the way that they operate is a bit different from normal cafés. So when the waitress came, she asked me if this was my first time there.
I wanted to say something like no, I have been here before. So what I ended up saying was:

• Non, je suis déjè venu.

There is noo way this is correct. Maybe I should have said:

• Non, j'étais déjà ici.

But this totally doesn't seem right either. So my first question is, What is the best way to say that you have been some place before, specifically the place where you currently are. This is not the first time I have been to that café, so I don't need the waitress to explain how things work there.
And as a related question, I went to a meetup group that was sorta just a social gathering that meets regularly every few weeks. There are a lot of regulars there and also a lot of new comers as well. I wanted to express to somebody that I come here regularly or I come here when I can. So what I ended up saying was:

• Je viens quand je peux.

Is this correct? How about if I wanted to ask somebody if it was their first time, or if I wanted to ask somebody if they were here last time?

Glad I found a good community to talk about this. I’m playing the game for the first time, and somehow I found my way into Deepnest through what I think was an alternative entrance. The game didn’t even tell me I was in Deepnest. I just went through the fuckin labyrinth of spider webs and shit for like two hours before I finally found Cornifer and then found my way out.
10/10 for atmosphere, but man is that place fuckin psychologically oppressive.

I have always had issues with being alive, it's never really been "all that" to me and it's NEVER been my "thing". I could definitely have done without all of it and have never come to be in this body, in this place, on earth, in space, right now as these words are read. To have never been born. To just never be...
Life is so painful and it hurts so bad to keep living each and every day. People are cruel, no one is always honest, if people could hear others thoughts they would be infuriated or broken hearted by what they heard from others minds. The body and the brain can only handle so much before it becomes somewhat of a systen failure and the only answer at that point would be to turn off the system permanently. Sitting in my skin suit, feeling the weight of it and the weight if the world and air on my skin makes me want to peel myself like someone would a potato. Is a frantic thought that my skin is too close to me and touching me too much. Yes, i am aware that sounds insane, but the gurlies that get it, get it. I am forcing myself to stay alive in this fucked body. Raw dogging The world still feels like too much weight on my soul and my spirit is raw so any touch is a painfuk touch. Im not sure if the saying, or way of thinking of what level they were on standing on the self harm stairs. Each step lower was a safer less fatal and better option that could be used. Most days I get by using one of my 3 favorite coping methods.

** EXTRA contex t** I've been "sober" for 3 or 4 years from cocaine, 6 years from smoking meth, and have only used my medically prescribed Mary Jane and the occasional night of drinking. Apologies for format I am writing on a typewriter. So, my husband (19m) and I (28AFAB, still F) have been married for three years now, and I've always tried my best to get along with his mother (38F with DD's). She's a lovely woman, but she can be a bit... overbearing at times.
Recently, my mother-in-law asked me to embroider a marinara flag for her famous potato dish. Apparently, she wants to enter it into some kind of cooking competition, and she thinks the flag will make it stand out.
At first, I thought it was a bit weird, but I agreed to do it anyway. I'm pretty good at embroidery, and I figured it wouldn't take too much time or effort.
But then things started to get a bit... possessive. My mother-in-law started insisting that I use a specific shade of red for the marinara sauce, and that I include a little dollop of Iranian Yoghurt in the design. She even suggested that I make the red flag bigger than originally planned, so it would be more visible from a distance.
I tried to explain to her that it was just a potato dish, and that the flag wasn't really necessary. But she wouldn't listen. She kept saying that the flag was going to be the key to her victory, and that I needed to get it done as soon as possible.
I started to feel really frustrated and annoyed with the whole thing. I mean, who cares about a stupid marinara flag? It's not like it's going to change the world or anything.
So, Reddit, here's where I need your help. Am I the asshole for not wanting to embroider this ridiculous flag? Or is my mother-in-law just being too possessive and controlling? I feel like I'm stuck between a potato and a hard place.
Edit: Oh I forgot to mention that I calmly explained to her that I wasn't going to do it. My husband said I was screaming but he's a man child who will always stick up for her.

I've been experimenting with wood stains and paint pens lately, since I have a friend who asked me to do some place cards for her wedding. They have been all fun and very educational but now I'm interested in pyrography too 🙂 I read somewhere that I could start with a soldering gun, but I'd also like to know about the kind of wood I can use it with, and how it needs to be prepared. Any advice or resources on how to get started?

Anyone who played this game for enough to reach "end game" realized how easy the game becomes once you get some stronger tame like Rex or Wyvern (which are pretty easy to get). ARK is great game and has A LOT of stuff to do in the end game if you are into PvP, but it lacks challenging PvE content. Even Alpha bosses can be beaten w/o mutated dinos, so if you are pure PvE player, there is no incentive for you to work on upgrading your dinos. One might think "oh just lower rates on the server and it wont be that easy, you wont finish that fast". That doesnt really fix the problem, it just makes the game more tedious and, for most, boring. Thats lazy way of doing it. However there is other way. It can be fixed, if you know how (and are willing to do a lot of work)
Here is how did I "rewrite" this game to become PvE focued game, instead PvP

• Every flyer and glider dino was removed from the game. You will have acess only to land and water dinos, you wont be able to "skip" every danger by just flying over it
• Every ridable land and water dino has been rebalanced and divided into 6 groups: Small Herbivores, Large Herbivores, Small Predators, Large Predators, Water Dinos and Titans. No longer you will be able to oneshot pretty much everything the moment you tame a Rex/Spino. That also means all dinos are "end game viable" and you can breed/mutate whatever you want, it will be viable to do all the content in the game
• All alphas were rebalanced. They are no longer walking loot/exp pinatas, they will be strong enough to consider them a challange and call them "mini bosses".
• The map boss stats were changed on all 3 difficulties to be more challanging (alpha one will be pretty darn tough)
• Some end-game recipes were changed to become "chase items". Mostly stuff from S+ mode like Propagator, Mutator, Tek crafting benches
• All beacons have been changed. They no longer containt the garbage items that they normally have, instead they contain every single item in the game that can have quality (saddles, weapons, tools, armours). All of them are also "randomized" so they are simillar in "power", White beacon has just as good items as Red one
• "The Market" was added. Its a place with "vendors" where you can sell many of the dino loots and few gatherables and also buy some end game stuff and other cool stuff. The "currency" is mutagen, which normally cant be aquired on this map, but also is used in breeding so that fixes potential inflation problem in the future

Here are some additional changes that make the experience more casual/fun and more info about the server:

• Dinos from other maps were added to the one we play on. The plan is to add every single land and water dino available in the game. We currently have some of them added, more of them will be added over time
• Extra resources that nomrally cant be aquired (on this map) were added
• Every dino is breedable and can be mutated. Even those that normally cant, like Rock Golem, Karkinos or Reaper. As long it can fit in cryopod (no Titanosaur breeding, sorry)
• Infinite element. Every player will have acess to stash with "infinite" amount of element. Tek tier has a lot of cool stuff and locking them behind the boss fight (and tedious grind if you need more) is not that fun
• All engrams are auto-unlocked

Stats of the server:
Player ressistance: 0.5 (means we take half the DMG)
Item Stack Size: 3 (with custom stack size for certain items)
Taming speed: 24 (3 speed, 8 hunger)
Harvest: 5 and XP: 5
Egg Interval: 0.2, Mating interval: 0.075, Egg Hatching: 20, Baby mature: 30

Plans for the future:
Boss Arena: This place wil be your place for your end game challenges, place where you will test out how strong are your dinos or some crazy ideas how to kill the easier bosses

• Boss Arena will have no restrictions other than time limit (for server safety, boss will despawn 60 min after spawning if not defeated). That means you can bring as many dinos as you want, any dino you want and even use machines/building to cheese the fight. The only rule is to not break the arena walls/flooceiling.
• Arena will have 5 bosses available: Broodmother, Megapithecus, Dragon, Deinopithecus King and Rockwell
• Every boss battle will have 15 difficulty levels. Yes, you see it right, 15, not usual 3.
• Boss arena will also have Mini Bosses aka Alphas - you will be able to fight alphas in here. Alphas that you can pick are Karkinos, Reaper King, Basilisk and Deathworm. OFc one would be too easy, so starting level will be 10 at once
• All Mini Bosses fights will have 5 difficulty levelsAll fights on the Arena will have some entry fee (paid in currency - mutagen) but if you win, you will be able to sell the loot for more than you paid, so it also will be source of income

Remaining dinos that are not added yet. Currently there 9 dinos missing on the map,I plan to add them over time, one per week, so people will have time to interact with one before next one will appear.

Hi all 😊 my sister-in-law is pregnant with the first baby of the family, so naturally we're all very excited. When the baby arrives, I'd like to give them something original, as I'm sure they'll be receiving many of the typical gifts.
I was thinking something like a basket containing things they'd use for the baby, as well as to keep using as the child grew up. For example, scented baby powder for diapers, maybe handmade baby clothes. But then also something like a cute pencil to mark the child's height on a wall or chart as they grew up, and an album where they could place yearly first-day-of-school photos.
Can anyone give me any other ideas for such gifts? Perhaps things you do with your children to commemorate milestones? Thank you!

I am currently pregnant (8 wks) and am in dire need of assistance. I recently lost my job due to a 3 week hospitalization (I was septic and nearly lost my life), which caused me to lose my vehicle and I'm now being evicted. I have no place to go. I haven't had anything to eat in nearly two days. have no family to request help from. I can't even make it to any of my upcoming doctor's appointments. I also have a fur baby who is out of food. At this point, I'm honestly scared that we're going to starve/end up homeless.

Hey all, pleasure to make your acquaintance, this is my first post in this very lovely subreddit. I just wanted to share some news that's put a smile on my face, and I can't remember when last I did so. I'm sure you've all had that feeling where you just weren't content with where you were in life, whether that be geographically, mentally, or physically. For me, it's always been a mix of the three. However, that's about to change! Mentally, I've always been quite addicted and glued to my phone and whatnot, but, I decided to switch to a good ol' fashioned flip phone. Physically, the last time I was in shape was in my adolescence, however, I've been putting in the hours and am now noticing the progress! Lastly, geographically. I don't necessarily hate where I'm from or anything, but given how I'd been here my entire life, and how for the longest time a lot of places I'd spent time at associated with times when I was at my lowest, I felt a change in scenery was in order. I'll be moving to the state of Kansas fairly soon, as I've got a job lined up. I see this as an opportunity to reinvent myself in the way I've always wanted to. I want to lead a quiet, honest, and wholesome life. I want to settle down, I want to do all the things I never did growing up, volunteering at shelters, helping people in any way. I want to be that person who moves into your neighborhood, bakes you something, and introduces himself to you. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm working on it!
