Cdl electric in pittsburg kansas

Hi folks,
I have a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 500 EFI, and my father has a 2004 Sportsman (H.O. I believe - it's carbureted). Both of our machines have a phantom draw on the battery at rest that results in dead batteries over time, usually if not ran or charged for a month. I've been contemplating putting in a battery disconnect in-line with the positive terminal to prevent me from having to replace batteries more often than I'd like to, but I have an electrical question related to doing so:
Will disconnecting the entire machine's power for extended periods of time potentially damage/ruin any electrical components on the machine? My knowledge of computers tells me that this should be fine, but I want to double check that something like the "Single Control Module" (or something like an Electronic Control Module (ECM) on other machines) doesn't need persistent power to preserve semi-volatile memory or something like that. In other words, computer RAM is referred to as "volatile memory" and looses all things stored in it when powered off. I'm assuming that the control modules (and anything else on this pretty simple ATV) has persistent memory in it, but just want to double check that I'm not using the system's power circuit in an un-intended way since it's a multi-hundred dollar part.
If no power for many months on end (I'd be using the machine at least a few weeks a year) is totally fine and won't leave me with a bricked/problematic control module, then I'll be happy and able to attempt desolating myself to a long battery life. Thank you all for your expertise and time!

First time business owner and I’m lost…..
Before I came into the picture Joe and his then business partner Bob ran a portfolio of 36 machines but his partner was too overwhelmed with managing this and his other business so Bob had to step out.
Since Feb 1st my business partner Joe and I have been operating the portfolio a “franchisee” to the company parent company that invented the machines we’re selling.
The parent company is a small company valued at 8 million so naturally the CEO Jack has been the brains behind the operation; sales & marketing, R&D and coming up w new stuff, designing all mechanical/electrical parts with engineers, designing software and hardware etc. Jack’s business partner Mitch is the CFO who handles all admin, financial, legal etc.
Joe and I anticipated operating off our LLC, as a franchisee but the owners of the franchise see the value we add and want to bring us on as partners and not franchisees.
Jack sees me replacing him from a sales and organizing business operations perspective and sees Joe heading the logistics while Jack can focus on R&D and building new products to sell.
Our thought is pay Joe and I a low salary around 4k/mo and work in sweat equity with a projection to sell with the company in 3 years for around 25-40 million.
There is great potential in Joe and I managing and growing our current portfolio as a franchisee but being in the parent company would open us up to all the connections and possibilities it’s creating.
What I’d like help with is understanding the quantifiable value I bring from a sweat equity perspective and how much stake I could ask for.
I do not have a cpa or attorney at the moment so I’m starting here to see what I should start lining up.
I hope all my rambling is understandable bc at the moment I’m a bit lost as this is all new to me.

So my Xiaomi Mi A3 stopped working after a few years and I am looking for a new phone. I am what you would call a light user, so I don't really need a crazy good processor. Here are some things that I want to get in a phone
- under 350 eur
- good battery life (i do long trail hikes and use my phone for navigation. i mostly have it on airplane mode, but sometimes i am away from electricity for a few days and i don't want to carry more than one powerbank)
smooth performance (i only mostly use chatting apps, navigation apps, spotify and youtube)
an alright camera wouldn't hurt
mostly something reliable which will last me a few years without needing to think about it.
I am thinking Pixel 6a, something from Xiaomi, Samsung a33, maybe samsung s11? Any other recommendations?

I am an electrical controls tech (5 years experience) and my goal is to one day become a controls engineer. I’m a good troubleshooter and know how to read and program ladder logic. Although I’m only familiar with Allen Bradley controllers. Ive learned a lot by calling the Rockwell support number through the years and learning from them when they remote into my laptop. I plan to do the following in the next two years:

• Study and attain a network + certification
• master servo motor programming and controls
• Learn scripture text and function block programming languages.
• master HMI programming

Will I be a good candidate for a controls engineer job after learning those things? What else should I strive to learn?

I'm going to run 6/3 UF-B electrical cable and direct burial ethernet cable 100' from my house to my shed, the trench will be a minimum of 24" deep.
Will I encounter data loss or data interference if I run both cables side by side in the trench? If so, any recommendations on how to run both cables side by side? Thanks.

How would you go about panning 2 saxes, a flute, a lead vocal, and a doubled harmony vocal? Currently I have the lead vox in the middle, doubled harmony vocal panned hard left and right, two saxes panned give or take half way in each direction and the flute in the middle.
Also sometimes I have a lead vox and 1 or 2 harmony vocals that are all different melody lines, and I have one sax doing little decorations with a flute all at the same time. How do I go about mixing all of this together panning wise.
I haven't tried having the horns and flute on one side and the voices on the other, is that something I should try or nah?
The track is indie rock like. Bass, acoustic guitar, Ringo Starr-like drumming with tambourine and stuff. Sometimes I have electric guitar acting like a horn as well.

Whew, about last night...
This year is the 41st NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament and only 15 different schools have won the championship. Tomorrow, either Iowa or LSU will become the 16th-ever school to win the tournament and become its first new champion since South Carolina in 2017.
(I try as much as possible to avoid direct comparisons to men's basketball because I think it's almost always counterproductive at best, but if you're curious: The men's NCAA tournament is on its 84th iteration and has had 37 different champions. The 16th unique school to win the men's tournament - Ohio State - came in 1960. That was 63 years ago.)
But before we crown our national champion (tomorrow afternoon, by the way), there is some business to attend to - the WNIT championship and the Division III championship are both today!

The damages that brought my car into the collision shop were very minor. Replacement of bumper, hood, and radiator support (radiator was fine and fan was spinning.) The car was perfectly mechanically sound, and had just been at a mechanic shop around a month prior for an oil change and "complimentary inspection" which returned nothing significant except that my 2-year-old battery would need replacement soon.
When I arrived at the collision shop, they had me sign off on a work authorization form. Related points of interest in this document:

• Authorize them to perform repair work described in the repair estimate form.
• Not responsible for loss or damage beyond control of the shop.
• Unless otherwise specified by the customer, the vehicle will be driven to a car wash to be detailed before delivery. (using this one only to point out my car can't be driven anymore, and I certainly didn't tell them not to detail it)
• Must authorize a Pre/Post Scan. "Refusal of pre/post scan services releases [company name] from any and all legal responsibilities from any safety hazards or consequences directly involved with not being able to properly diagnose any remaining repairs needed."
• There are storage fees of $75 per day applied 72 hours after notification that the vehicle repairs is complete and ready for pickup.

I drove my car after my accident. They admitted to driving my car around their shop "just fine." There was a parts delay, so they had the car moving around their lot for over a month before repairs began. The pre-scan returned codes for weight control (which is passenger airbag) and the traction control system. They also caught wind from a document in my glovebox that I had "done some transmission work" in October of 21. (It was a total transmission replacement)
On Tuesday (almost 2 weeks ago) I received a call that there was only a minor part still back ordered, but due to arrive soon enough that they were going to begin work and they expected the car to be complete on Thursday.
On Thursday, I received a call that the body work was complete, but now the car was stuck in park and throwing a new error code. They gave me the code, and told me that the code was "turbo clutch. Powertrain" They were trying to say it was a transmission problem and use the fact that I had transmission work in the past to exclude any fault of their own in this matter, as well as justification to refuse to touch it. The ACTUAL code was PO237, which is in no way related to transmission. It is an error that there is too little airflow going through the engine's turbo sensor, and nothing to do with the transmission system at all. According to the dealership when I called in inquiring, the reason it won't come out of park is a safety mechanism, there is wiring for the sensor behind the bumper (which was replaced) and part of the airflow pieces attach to the radiator support (which was also replaced).
When I called explaining it, they agreed to have a mobile mechanic look at the car "because their mechanic refused because they didn't want me to come back and say that he caused the problem by digging around" They told me the name of the mobile mechanic, and every single review they have on Google for the past 4 years is a 1-star review.
Their mobile mechanic looked at it on Monday and Tuesday. They told me on Monday that they had cleared the codes, and there were no codes returning now, but the car was still stuck in park. They said the mobile mechanic thinks its the body control system but on Monday I was told that was not his final answer because he really isn't sure. (A body control system is basically the central unit controlling the entire electrical system for the car) They also told me that my battery had died (which was not unexpected as it was 2 years old) and that they dropped another battery in the car. The battery dying is their reasoning for calling it a failure of the body control system, as a symptom is draining batteries. That was not a symptom I was encountering before... I had never once jumpstarted that 2 year old battery.
I didn't hear a thing back on Tuesday. I called twice on Wednesday and they wouldn't take my calls, but I left messages stating that I did not authorize their mobile mechanic to do any repairs on my electrical system.
They didn't take or return my calls on Thursday, either.
Finally, when I called Friday they told me that they want me to pick my car up. It is still not coming out of park. Their assessment of this is the "body control system failure" and that it is not something caused by either the accident or the repairs, and "its just something that commonly happens in my make and model of car." (It is not even in the top 10 mechanical problems encountered by my make and model of car, and there are ZERO instances of anyone discussing it in the subreddit for my model)
They specifically told me that my car is still not mechanically sound enough to drive. Given that it is stuck in park, I would need a flatbed tow to retrieve it.
They want me to come retrieve it on Monday, and they want me to call and give them a heads up "so their manager can be prepared."
I am concerned that if I pick the car up from them, I am effectively signing off as accepting the current state of the car as "complete."
What advice would you give me on next steps? Do I accept my car and tow it to the dealership for diagnosis? Will I be able to hold them financially liable for these repairs? (I should note that my insurer paid for the collision repairs, but my insurer hasn't exactly been the most reputable through this either... Which is a whole side story that can be summarized in that they forced me to use their choice of shops, and I've never once been able to reach the adjuster involved.)

I maintain regular 6 month dental cleanings, brush 2x a day once with electric, and floss at least daily and use interdental picks.
Sometimes when I look in my mouth I see some tartar built up - currently I'm about 2 months post my cleaning and it concerns me for it to be there for the next 4 months. Typically I see a small bit of it between my back upper molars, or behind my lower teeth. It isn't much, but still concerns me because when I google it says that tartar can lead to cavities but isn't clear on the timeline "a few months." Can anyone give anymore than that? Or is it just so different mouth to mouth that you really can't say?
