Hi everyone! I’m trying to book 5 nights in London on points because of how expensive everything is. Objective is to keep the out of pocket as low as possible, but because there are so many nice and well located hotels in London, I don’t mind using lots of points.
Problem I’ve been facing is that rates change dramatically when I add my infant to the search (he’ll be 8 months when we travel). For example, some hotels just don’t return any results on points for 2+1 instead of 50k a night, even though the room supposedly allows 1 crib.
Another hotel jumps from 75k a night to 75k and 250 GBP, which makes absolutely no sense as, again, room allows a crib.
Is this standard? Should I just book for 2 adults while still requesting the crib? Because the differences I’m seeing make it very prohibitive when it shouldn’t be.
As a side question, as somebody without status (well Gold lol), if anybody has suggestions for London in June with an infant, I’m all ears. Breakfast looks expensive everywhere, but booking on points, I’ll probably bite that bullet to make our mornings easier. Location appears to be the most important factor when traveling with a baby. Unless you guys think the Kensington Residence Inn is where we belong😅

Recently I made good progress fighting my porn addiction. I am not done yet, but I need to get internet addiction under control as well.
I wake up in the morning. I am thinking "I should not take my laptop". I even explicitly hide it from my view. I make a list of tasks for the day. Then it is time to get breakfast. It is boring to simply sit at the table and eat, so I take my laptop and watch some YouTube. Five minute video is not enough, so I search YouTube for this movie I saw earlier and watch one hour interview with the director. And of course multiple times throughout video I switch to check news websites. News are depressing, I need to look at funny memes and videos on Reddit. And this leads to more surfing for 2-3 hours.
I don't like this behaviour as I procrastinate on my goals. I've read books about internet addiction and they seem to help for a bit, but then I find myself back, surfing the internet for the whole day and hating myself afterwards.
I also hate that there is too much content. I am an information junkie. And I meticulously save all that content into my "read later" app. Articles, YouTube videos, movies and TV series to see, video games to play, books to read, places to visit. I have tons of books on my bookshelf I didn't even open and I keep browsing for more. I also obsessively take notes when reading those articles or watching YouTube videos.
I've turned my iPhone into a dumbphone and I rarely use it for internet. So the main problem is my laptop. I keep coming up with reasons to take my laptop. Like I need to it to learn a language or some new topic, to do some programming, etc. Taking the laptop and surfing the internet became my default behaviour. This is what I would normally do when I'm tired, when I just finished a meal.
I definitely get a quick rush of excitement when I use the internet first time in the morning. But minutes turn into hours and I'm left there with the paralyzing anxiety.
I need to get this under control.

I only ever give every scenario in life whether good , great , bad or horrendous a realistic but positive outlook as I understand there is always a lesson behind every distressful moment, and there is nothing I can do to change past actions other then learn from the situation that I have got myself in.
But for the past few days I hit an absolute rock.
I’ve felt as though I’ve been watched and tracked due to certain things I have done (there where certain UN documents I had accessed, there was a book I was writing which depicted the true social construct of todays age, I had a certain elite book downloaded on my computer, I’m dumb but I also decided to go look at interpol entity’s, and at the same time I was starting to listen to a lot of strong nasheed’s which would probably be classed under a certain category in the west) ,
There are also certain things that I have observed which had me in realisation that I am being tracked,
(International Investigation and security drove past my work twice (at about 1am) and it was a dead street , and from then on I noticed ALOT more inconsistencies around me but at that point it would just sound absurd)
But I am now left in unimaginable distress due to the feeling of being watched. I do not know what I should do or how I should deal with it before it truely effects me mentally permanently .
Any wisdom or help is greatly greatly appreciated , this Muslim community is the only people I can truly trust that will understand and give me some decent feedback,
may god bless and reward whoever sees this and whoever has something to share to help my case ❤️❤️🙏

2) Anyone used the taxi option in the Booking.com app? The rates appear to be favorable, at least for airport pickup. Bali Airport - Ubud center - 200k IDR. This is a good price right?
3) For Bluebird and Gojek it appears you need an Indonesian SIM. If I use Klook and buy a prepaid SIM card delivered directly to our villa, then these apps will work?
4) I know that bikes are significantly cheaper to rent than cars, especially for short trips. However, there will be two of us. In Philippines for example you can find motorcycles with a sidecar, that can transport two people. You can find them in Bali as well, maybe through an app? Or, is there a way to call two bikes at once through the same reservation?
