Hi, sorry for my english, it's not my main language.
During summer, when the temperatures gets high, I begin to really struggle to get down food normally. I don't know why, but after the first pieces, it kinda feels like all dry and hard to swallow. This thing is really stressing, because I often end the meal early not because I am full, but because I'm really tired by this problem and unable to get anymore food down.
I know that in summer it's normal to have less appetite, but here it's not about that: even if I am really hungry, i get this problem.
Can someone explain why this can be happening?
PS: don't blame the food, I garantee that the food is well cooked like I always do during the year, when I have no problems

I (33F) met my now ex boyfriend (35M) about three years ago. We went 0 to 100 in a matter of weeks. He swore he’d never felt like that and that it was true love. Needless to say I ate it up. I left my family and my career to move in with him less than 6 months after meeting him. He is divorced and has two kids. I became a parent figure in their life because ex travels for work and is hardly home.
Last night he came home drunk and although I’ve never done it before I went through his phone. What I found sickened me. Emails to girl #1 who he’s been seeing for over half a year in city #1. Girl #2 on Snapchat. Swinger accounts in the cities he travels to often. Reddit chats with hookers for cities he travels to often. There were so many messages that I stopped reading them but from what I could tell he was paying for blow jobs almost daily.
I shouldn’t have but I confronted him. He pretty much told me to fuck off and said he didn’t owe me any answers. I feel like an idiot for leaving my life for him. I’m more mad at myself than him. To make matters worse, he got physical with me.

I treated the plant every 4 days with a mixture of diluted isopropyl alcohol with distilled water, Dr. Dronner’s pure castille soap, and neem oil sprayed generously on all parts of the plant (leaf & stem, runoff in the soil). After a minute or so, I used a dense makeup brush to wipe every part, cook, and vein of the plant. I followed this schedule for ~6 weeks. I saw this treatment during a woman’s YouTube video on the subject recommended in one of the Reddit plant groups, but now I can’t seem to find the video so if anyone knows, please let me know. The plant has been doing decently well ever since, but I have lost leaves likely due to a watering issue. This week I have noticed little spots on the leaves that look very similar to the November spider mite haunting. However, there are no webs anywhere on the plant this time. I was able to just barely see the spider mites in Nov, but I couldn’t find a single bug until today. The bug in the picture was red, fast, and larger in size. In the past they were smaller and yellowish/pale in color. Do you think this is a true spider mite issue? False spider mites? Other? Is the same treatment I used in the past adequate? |

One thing I love about working with polyamorous people is that they tend to prioritize honesty, forthrightness, and clarity in the process of making relationship agreements. That said, we’re all only human, and people in polyamorous relationships are certainly not immune to broken agreements. Valuing honesty is a great first step, but it might not be enough when the rubber meets the road and you have to tell your partner something that makes your stomach churn. At the end of the day, that’s what it comes down to: can you be honest with your partner about something that you’re fairly certain they won’t want to hear? Most of the time, the root cause of broken agreements is not maliciousness or callousness. It’s conflict avoidance. Conflict avoidance is common and very understandable. Sometimes it looks like people-pleasing, other times just trying not to hurt someone you care about; sometimes you might not yet really know what you want, making it difficult to have an honest conversation about it. But in all of these examples, the underlying dynamic is avoiding a tough conversation for one reason or another. Hello everyone.Before getting to my problem I want to tell you what parts and OS i have.I have Win10 64bit, and the GPU is AMD Radeon HD 8500M Series (DDU doesn't tell the exact model)Also i have integrated Intel HD4000.Let's get a little bit of backstory: I bought this laptop used like a year ago. It worked nice and stuff but I decided to do a little bit of driver update. I installed brand new drivers and the whole computer froze in place - no keyboard oputput, input, mouse froze etc. Just everything.I decided to go to BIOS and turn on (forgot the name of the option, but it basically turned of the PCI port with the gpu in and used the integrated card instead.) some setting and it basically went on so i didn't care (ofc there was a massive perf. drop because of gpu change). Yesterday, i thought about it and decided to uninstall the drivers with DDU and tun the dedicated GPU in BIOS again. It worked well. I decided to go with Windows Update to install my drivers back. I installed update called "PCI Bus" and the computer froze again. I decided to dump it all and just ask for help here. (I already turned the card off again, i left the drivers installed tho.)

 | Hi everyone, sorry in advance for if I get anything wrong total noob when it comes to plants! submitted by stressed-always to houseplants [link] [comments] About a month ago I bought a bouquet of flowers which came with this foliage (I’m not sure what it is, tried to look on the website and it just said it was foliage) Whilst all the other flowers have now died, there seems to be something growing from the top of this one, I haven’t done much to it other than change it’s water and sprayed it with some house plant solution. But I have now grown attached to this £3.50 branch and invested in trying to make it grow if possible and I was wondering what I should do with it? Do I need to cut it to below the new growth and put it in tiny vases or plant it in a pot? Or just leave it? I did go into a gardening centre but they had no idea what to do, I also tried to search on a plant app to see if I could ID it/try to see how to care for it but I am at a loss. I have an orchid, Swiss cheese plant, Janet Craig corn plant and Tradescantia Zebrina who except the corn plant are doing well, (might have to ask advice on the corn plant because she’s not doing as well ☹️) so I have all of the soil/sprays for these but I am happy to buy more if I can get this lil thing to grow. Before deciding if this is worth going to see someone about (I live in the US and healthcare is not cheap) I just wonder if this is something others have experienced or have an idea what might be behind it, because searching, I'm not finding anything that really explains it.
In recent visits, specifically when I order chai lattes from Starbies, I get a little dizzy and light headed afterwards. I usually just do a chai latte with soy, and maybe a pump of mocha syrup (chocolate) and a pump of some other flavor. When I've finished the drink, which takes me a couples hours at least most times, i find myself feeling dizzy. And it does seem to be only theirs. I don't feel like I recall this happening with any other drinks of theirs (i might need to try something different and pay attention and see).
When trying to google I saw suggestions for it being the tea (chai) or coffee (i don't do because I do have issues with their coffee and it having negative affects on me) for the caffeine or the soy for it being a soy allergy, or even sugar. But none of these feel like they match up.
As to the caffeine potential. I've drank energy drinks with far more caffeine than a chai latte, and never had this issue before. I've drank chais from other places, never had this issue.
The same goes for soy. I've been drinking various soy milks, eating various things (edamame being a big one) never had it cause me issues before.
And in terms of sugar, it goes back to the caffeine. There's another coffee place near me that does energy drinks with flavored syrups, and I've drank those with whipped cream.
I had food with it, and I'm just at a loss. It feels like a semi recent development but it's weird that it would only be in this circumstance.
