I'm related to the Ronettes and I've been deeply fascinated with them ever since I read my aunt/grandma, Ronnie Spector's book about her life, about how John Lennon tried getting it on with her, about her marriage with that damn Phil Spector. And I'm asking for help if you have any rarer photos (or possibly footage) of the Ronettes with the Beatles or during their time in the 1966 tour that have been unseen by most people.
I'll also like to add more information of The Ronettes' relationship with the Beatles. Estelle Bennett, my mother's mother dated George Harrison. They had a short relationship but a whole lotta time together. Estelle stated that she and George stayed up all night playing music together, how sweet! And if they weren't together, then they would spend hours on the phone talking and rambling about whatever they could! Though they fell apart around the time when the Beatles came to the US.

I’ve been dating my girlfriend for three months. She told me she was asexual about a week in so this isn’t new or anything but it’s been getting harder for me deal with. I’ve been speaking to a mutual friend who is also asexual about it and they’ve given me great advice(go slow, listen to her, it will take time, etc) and has helped me understand asexuality much better. But my girlfriend is much more asexual then they are and I’m stuck in this weird in between, caught in the middle of wanting sex, and wanting to respect her boundaries and sexuality. I don’t want to break up or force either of us to change but I just don’t know what to do. One of the biggest problems is the uncertainty of our friend explaining that most asexual people only feel sexual attraction for certain people after a long time which makes me look to the future and helps me put this whole thing off to the side and just not think about it, and what my girlfriend has said which is that she will never want to have sex. I really just want to find a way to respect her limits and what she’s told me, while also being able to do what it want which is tearing me apart. So now I’m here sitting on a bench asking random people for advice.
TLDR: My girlfriend is asexual and I’m not and I’m not sure how to get both our needs.

However,If I watch youtube through the rokid AR app after having changed the IPD to 60 (defaults to 65) it seems better, however, every other source, for instance, my windows PC or steamdeck or netflix app on phone) seems bad. I am guessing that changing in the app will not correct them for when you are not using them?
When using the steamdeck and opening up the virtual keyboard, the keys kind of go into one, what I mean is that if I look at the '8' on the keyboard, I can see the '6' at the same time (albeit dimmer) right next to it.
There isnt really much apart from youtube that you can use the app for. Its a real shame as the clarity of images is so vibrant I really want to be able to keep these..

First time posting here- I have a SD and I’ve already been approved for a new apartment. When asked if I had a pet I said no because my SD isn’t a pet. Whelp, take a good look at what lies beneath these monasteries. I almost just said some of it, but if you play, it's probably obvious, but I think often taken for granted. Whats there is not normal or okay, and the things they are actively complicit in makes the killing of complicit guards who will attack on sight and the sparing of often complicit, but harmless monks, not too bad for the time period.
It's not every monk or every priest, and even some targets show they were guilty, but trapped and desperate to get out. So it's not a broad brush. But it's like the moment Kasssandra/Alexis realized for the first time what they were up against on a global level. Not all members of the monasteries are a part of the order. But on an institutional level, they are embedded enough, that you know every supply bale or ingot would feed right into their war machine. You're not stabbing up grandma's and mugging monks (ideally). Your attacking the institution and its soldiers at arms. And Even then, you choose your lethality. Unarmed, with certain counter perks and one-armed perks, you can parry and kick, dive bomb, sweep, sleep arrow, etc enemies just as effectively as you can... re-member them.
And the historical part is that the raids are not justified by the historical realities of the corruption in the church. However, aspects of each cultures cleanest justifications for fueding witb, warring with, and distrusting each other are represented fairly well so far (albeit gamified).
The real TLDR: Anyway I'm not saying its perfect, just that the reason is more justifiable considering environmental storytelling.

I did the math based on 25 years of ownership, assuming 25% down
All amounts are compounded annually
Interest on the mortgage along with property tax and condo fees over 25 years is $~670K
Rent will increase from $2.4K/m to $7.7K/m. Total rent cost for 25 years is ~$1.4 mil
The down payment invested plus the capital repayment if invested each year will amount to ~$1.3 million
Net renting cost over 25 years $100K
The property will appreciate to ~$1.9 mil and after the purchase and associated costs and selling costs and taking the interest, condo fees and property taxes will net ~$500K over the 25 years
This obviously does not factor in special assessments, renovations etc etc etc
5% on investments is easy to come by these days, and if one changes it to 7% can also end up with roughly $500K at the end of the 25 years.

I work in Ohio for 3 days and then return to Michigan for 4 days, during my time in Ohio i am also renting an apartment but don’t plan to give up my michigan residency status. Am I exempt from paying Ohio state income tax because of the reciprocal agreement they have and just pay income tax to Michigan? I have the option of filling out an Ohio IT-4 which says if your a full-year resident of Michigan you’re not subject to Ohio or school district income tax.

I'm considering buying a home vs continuing to rent crappy apartments with the $82-$84k I will be receiving soon. How would that work? Is it still taxable income if it goes into home buying? I know doing so relieves me of the 10% penality for using the money before retirement but idk how it works on taxes. Would this be a smart decision? Taking a loan against the amount is not an option as I am self employed so I could not get the money directly withdrawn from my pay check but is that an option if I'm able to make month payments via direct payment every week? Just trying to decide if this would be a better option than rolling into a 401k and continuing to rent apartments that are just crap because that's what I qualify for. I make roughly $3k a month and 2bed in my area is around $950(low income) up to $1400 which I don't qualify for. So I bought an apartment recently to act as my primary residence. Before moving in, I need to carry out some works, which evidently may be a little noisy. Of course these works will start at 8am and finish at 8pm every day to abide by the noise abatement regulations.
Nevertheless is there something I should be doing to warn neighbours of the noise? I already had a neighbour complaining that his son could not study because of the noise. This guy threatened to call the police on me. I do not understand what case he has given that we are still acting as a bon pere de famile and keeping with the stipulated time for making noise. Any advice?

In January 2023 I began a consensual relationship with a co-worker. She is in management and I am more entry level. We are in the same department but work on different teams and have no reporting relationship. Per our company handbook, we do not believe to be in any violation. We disclosed our relationship to HR and our VP a few weeks ago. They decided that one of us would need to apply for reassignment to a new department or be asked to resign by June 30th.
I would also like to add that my VP of HR said I did nothing wrong on two occasions during my meeting.
I took the option of applying for reassignment, but have yet received really no information or support from HR or anything. It appears like the company is shutting me out and is not helping to facilitate the reassignment whatsoever.
I guess what I am asking is do I have any cause to push back? I understand the employment at will and everything, but the deadline of 6/30 seems ridiculous especially since I was told I did nothing wrong.
If I am unable to secure reassignment, I am not planning on voluntarily resigning.

Manhunt but with an AI hunter, similar to the hit man video but it’s trained using data from BadBoyHalo playing. It can have Bad’s skin and can communicate with the hunters via chat and can sometimes say random voice lines every so minutes, as if it was imitating Bad.
Minecraft but the version changes every time, and the lose when the version reaches the beta ver of Minecraft (the very first available version) with no ending and their stuck. The items they had in the later versions that are not apart of the older versions disappear. Another detail could be their Minecraft skins can also change to their old skins they had as kids/teens.
This one is kinda complicated so bare with me. There is this device called the crown that tracks your brains’s emitted frequency. This can be connected to a computer and programmed to preform tasks whenever it’s triggered by certain frequencies. I’d imagined it can be coded in a way were the different declared frequencies can be assigned to movements in the game. When you think of something that scared you, you emit a frequency, it triggers the program to preform a task, such as running or jumping. You can beat the game in this way if your friends are there IRL to give you stimuli to trigger these stimuli, for example, threatening you with a taser to make you jump continuously. There could be another friend in game that can assist you if it gets to difficult. Much much much harder than it sounds, ik. I’m also no expert so the way I explained the technology may be unreliable. There are great videos on YouTube about it though.

I usually plan 1 longish, but still domestic trip a year, but I don't travel all that often. Local exploration is often enough for me. I haven't really built up the courage to go international yet.

Conclusion

First and foremost I'm looking for someone I can hang out/talk with pretty easily. I like to banter, and I feel like my conversations and references can be pretty abstract/ridiculous. You'll get major bonus points if you can field or even feed that.
On the flip side, I love hearing people geek out over their particular fixations, even if I have little to no clue about the actual subject.
I'm open minded to trying other hobbies/interests, but have had trouble in the past actually getting into things. Perhaps I just need a +1?
Regardless, let's talk some! It's so much easier to get a feel for someone when you're hearing their voice and not just reading some words they typed out with no tone.

I'm a bit confused by the way a broker behaved as I applied for an apartment, but maybe it's because I've never gone through a broker before?
I applied for an apartment the day I saw it. By the next day, the application was approved, and a lease was sent to me that night. I had a good relationship with the broker until the next day. She suddenly got very aggressive about me signing the lease that same day. I asked a few questions, and she said she wanted it be 5pm. I was slammed at work, so I ended up signing the lease closer to 10pm and sent the broker fee (about 12% of rent). I had a question of where to send the security deposit and first month's rent, so I didn't send that in. This was within 24 hours of me receiving the lease. The next morning, she sends an email saying that she told another applicant that I didn't end up signing, and that these applicants are ready to sign the lease and pay their fees. I immediately respond saying that I'm ready to send the rest, but I need clarification. By this point, I thought she would respond saying that she went with the other applicants, instead – two hours later – she clarifies my questions and asks when I can get the rent and security.
This all happened in a span of about three days. This broker works for what appears to be a small but established real estate company and is the exclusive broker for this building. She did say that she had other prospects who were interested in the apartment, but it was all good until she started getting aggressive about the lease, even after I signed it. That's what I'm confused about.
Something else to add is that I asked for updated appliances, and offered a higher rent to accommodate that, so there was some back-and-forth on that, but it was all good vibes until I got the lease.
If anyone has any insight on why she was so aggressive even after I had signed the lease, that would be very helpful.
