Good day to all of you. I am so steamed. Please forgive the venting..... but:
NET10's WEBSITE ABSOLUTELY SUCKS. There. I said it. I feel slightly better.
Some backstory:
Several years ago, my senior parent saw this infomercial on HSN/QVC "Net10 Wireless Hotspots" and bought one.
The model is: ZTE 4G LTE Wireless Hotspot Z291DL
It seemed like an irresistable deal -- $100 dollars worth of Data service included for free when you buy the hotspot. Use wifi from your own hotspot instead of using risky wifi from hotels or starbucks. Fantastic. We used it for a while, but discovered that while it may be the same company as TracFone, the data does NOT roll over every month or two as with Tracfone, no, you have to use the 10 gigs of data a month on Net10 or lose it. Which led to me taking it to work towards the end of the month to make sure I used up the data before the service end date, to get the most out of our money since it won't roll over.
It wasn't a bad set up at first. If one of our TracFones ran out of data, plugging in the Net10 was great and got us online again. It also worked great for running data-heavy programs like Google Maps as you drive.
This worked okay, until it didn't. It is very easy to forget something you only do 1 time every 60 days. Forgetting to refill the hotspot results in having to go to the HORRIFICLY designed Net10 website and go through a lot of convoluted steps to refill it. My mother is 100% against AutoRefill, so it was up to me to remember to manually refill it every 60 days. But the website system is complete crap. It would log out on me before I was through entering information. It does have our address, my cell phone as contact, and of course, our credit card number, which it accepts whenever I purchase the $50.00 plan for 60 days of service.
But credit card info changes, and I want to edit the profile. No can do. It will not send 2 step verification emails no matter how hard I try.
We DO get marketing and service reminder emails from Net10 regularly, to my mothers email, see below:

The system however, is broken. This screen is where it all gets hung up:

Everytime I click, "send me an email", nothing happens. The popup refreshes and displays the same information.
Clicking "I don't have a phone number" is equally useless. It does nothing.
After about 10 tries of this --- amazingly! --- I am able to break past that reoccuring popup hell cycle and access the My Profile page. I proceed to change the name from "No Last Name" and "No First Name" to my own last and first names, and edit the Pin. But none of my changes are saved, even though the system refreshes after I click "Save Changes". This is infuriating.

So. I tried, 3 hours ago, calling customer service. I called 1-877-836-2368. The wait time each time was less than 1 minute. However, the first 2 times, I was disconnected by the agent while in the middle of explaining the entire problem. Finally I did get through to a singsongy sounding woman, "Jobely", from somewhere in Asia trying to help. She was unable to access my account via PIN, as all the numbers I provided were invalid. She attempted to send the 2FA emails, but even though she insisted she sent them, absolutely none went through.
I logged out and logged into my account again, proving that my email was indeed valid as it allows me to log in, if it was invalid how could I log in at all. She was perplexed and promised she would fill out a support ticket. She also promised to call me back in 15 minutes to see if the issue was resolved.
30 minutes later though, no call. So I called back again and got another woman, 4th call today. She said that she was the highest up in customer service and could take my complaint up no further. She has promised I will recieve a call back to see if "the issue has resolved" within 24 hours.
Have any of you experienced this same exasperating catch 22 with Net10 Wireless Hotspots?

Spoilers Ahead
I was very fortunate in being able to buy a copy of Pilgrims of Fire, the latest Adepta Sororitas novel, so first of all a big shout out to firestormgames here in the UK for putting their stock up for sale several weeks after the initial release, be that on purpose or just when they got their stock in. I haven't seen any discussion of the novel itself on the internet so given that I've just finished it I thought I'd give some thoughts.
Plot Summary
Pilgrims of Fire is set in two distinct timelines, one just before the Fall of Cadia and one sometime after, both following sisters beloning to the Order of Our Matyred Lady. One follows a group of Sisters on the holy world of Cion (I see what you did there Justin) and the other follows a group of Sisters that are part of a fleet in the Indomitus Crusade that is making its way to Cion (retracing Saint Katherine's "Pilgrimige of Fire" to Cion). There is also a third story following a penal legion, the Chem Dogs, that is acompanying the Sisters on their way to Cion but I'll talk about them in more detail later as they were both my favourite part of this book and also probably the worst part of this book.
So the plot itself isn't exactly the most complicated but I'm always a sucker for converging timelines so I appreciated the structure. I also really liked how it flicked back and forth between the two timelines so I was always left hungry trying to figure out how the two would meet. It definitely isn't super complex but it works.
What I liked

• The book did a fantastic job of almost making the Adepta Sororitas a setting in and of themselves. By that I mean that their fanatacism was constantly brought to the fore and how this was woven into their entire existence. The detail of the rituals, the sounds, the smells, the relics, the awe whichs those relics inspire in the Sisters, the awe wich the Sisters inspire in everyone else, and the sheer strength of devotion were all handled really well. Justin constantly brings this out and highlights these things, giving the reader a fantastic grounding in that world.
  
• Horror was another aspect that I felt was done really well. There are two sections in which this is really explored. The first is when the Sisters are crossing the Cicatrix Maledictum and the description you get of how this affects the navigator, Sister Albreda, and the large group of people who went insane/died during the crossing. You get a good sense of why Cicatrix Maledictum is such a problem and so terrifying to people. The second, and more impressive, expression of horror is the descripton of the Cicatrix Maledictum first erupting across the galaxy and how that instantly turns Cion into a raging inferno of violence and slaughter, with literal blood rain from what I can tell. The whole scene felt truly apocalyptic, as it rightfully should, and really played into the holy-unholy theme the whole book regularly goes back to, but I'll touch on that later with the Chem Dogs.
  

What I thought could be better

• None of the Sisters really stood out all that much as interesting characters. They were mostly variations on "I am fanatical battle nun" with not one but two exceptionally holy Sisters who used power swords. This is where the structure potentially worked against the author as we're following two groups with similar hierarchies and similar character archetypes, making it harder for them to feel distinct. To me it seemed like there was definitely some attempt at mirroring characters in the two groups but to what thematic point I don't know.
  
• My second issue is that the eponymous Pilgrim felt a little underserved. The Sisters in the present day only start on the Pilgrimage over halfway through the book and so the whole thing feels a bit rushed. We spend a decent amount of time on the first planet they get to and on Cion at the end but everything inbetween is kind of breezed through in a couple of lines. This meant that, for me, it didn't really conenct with me emotionally when they started going on about how arduous the Pilgrimage was and all that they'd lost. I hadn't seen (read?) their struggle, I'd been told it (kind of the book version of show don't tell).
  
• Thirdly, the Sisters seemed a bit too good? Yes there is a bit of execution via immolation, Penitent Engines, and a rather grusome scene at the end involving sewing someone's lips shut with wire. However, the Adepta Sororitas in the wider lore are really really bad people, driven by their religious fanaticism to do truly horiffic things. But in this book they come off as noble and holy knights fighting the good fight. This is obviously part of the wider problem BL has with most of the books being from the Imperium's POV.
  

The Chem Dogs
As mentioned previously, I really like the Chem Dogs sections but also I think they are probably the worst part of this book. The Chem Dogs are penal legion made up of really really bad people, it is heavily inferred that one of the main Chem Dog characters is a cannibal, who are given lots of stims to help them fight and a shot to the head if they try to retreat. All of the Chem Dogs you meet in the book feel so vibrant and different from anyone else in the book, in complete opposition to the Sisters. Their place in the military is also super interesting, with even the high ranking officers being criminals and them having to scavange all their equipment. It is just a really interesting setup for a group of people and honestly I'd love a book just about them.
The Chem Dogs also play into that wider theme of the holy and the unholy. The Chem Dogs are the lowest of the low in the Imperium but fight with the "highest of the highs" in the Sisters. Cion is a holy world turn to chaos, Lizbet and Branwen's arcs, and even Impirum Nihilus vs Imperium Sanctus. This is a really good theme to pull out with the Sisters but I do think there is someting interesting to be done there with subverting the idea that the Sister's are in reality this good holy thing, again feeding into my above complaint about how the Sisters are represented.
And this leads into why I don't think the Chem Dogs stuff works in this book. That theme of the holy and unholy doesn't really do anything interesting for me and the Chem Dogs storyline always feels like a bit of a sideshow. It just feelsl ike that time we spent with the Chem Dogs could have been better used to address my two biggest issues with this book: the lack of focus on the pilgrimage and the lack of distinctness between the Sisters. So to sum that up, the Chem Dogs stuff is great and I want a book about just them but they don't really seem to have a place in this book and take away time that could have been better spent elsewhere.
Overall
I did quite like this book, despite the above, as it was a fun romp and the places it excelled, its sense of place and horror, did a great job of inspiring fantastically vivid images as I read it. It is worth reading if you can get your hands on it and please write a Chem Dogs book Justin, having a cannibal main character or something similar would be a fun spin on the usual Imperial Guard stories. But it would be great to hear what others thought of the book, especially if you disagree with any of my points, and congrats to anyone who read all the way through this long rambly post!

Hi guys. Relatively new FM player here.
Playing as Leeds FM23 (God why do I punish thyself?) and according to FM Inside McKennie has a higher rating as a Target Man and a Pressing Forward. I've largely used him as a Box-to-box and filling in at Ball-Winning Mid, and occasionally as an Attacking Midfielder because having him win the ball further up the pitch is quite handy. Is it worth it? Or is it better to keep him as a CM?
I currently use Advanced Forward because I am a Zealand viewer lol and Rodrigo > Bamford. Target Man doesn't sound too bad because I have wingers who can cross but I'd prefer inverted wingers in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. For reference 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 and 3-2-2-3 box/diamond are my current systems.
Look forward to answers and the inevitable laughing at me being a Leeds fan as we drop into the Championship. Cheers!
