Hey guys I’m in a bit of a situation and a bit frustrated. I’ve had this pup since about Friday and the owner was supposed to pick up yesterday in the morning. I texted them early before to confirm they were coming. No response. I texted again at time of pick up. Nothing. After a third text finally after a couple of hours after pick up they respond and say they need another day. To pick up at noon, frustrating but I’m like okay and add the modification. They still haven’t accepted. Was supposed to be here 2 hours ago and I’ve texted multiple times and nothing. Contacted rover and no emergency contact I can call either. They even left the dog here with no food and had to message multiple times about it on the first day and they didn’t respond until about Saturday night which I knew since then it would be bad. The dog is good I met prior and have no complaints, just the owner feels like something is going on and I wish they would communicate cause I don’t mind helping out it’s just the communication is basically non existent:(

Hi all, I caught all the titans last night in apricorn balls, and applied their titan marks. I was feeling good. Then I decided to go through all boxes and apply ribbons and marks, that’s when I realised could a titan have a weather or time mark on top of their titan mark so a titan with a 2nd mark. Please tell me this not possible. I went through hell mark hunting galarian birds. Also can the ingame trades be shiny or have a time mark? Thanks in advance :)

Wanted to recap so no one else would have to listen to it. This isnot in chronological order since they jumped around to various topics back and forth.
Starts off with Jax and KFC introducing themselves, then mentioning Jax And Brittany Take Kentucky. “We don’t talk about that show enough”, Jax says. Jax claims that he never watched VPR (at this comment, KFC gives a sigh of disbelief). Jax is excited to have a podcast because he can tell his story without being cut off. “It’s been a nice break” not being on TV.
KFC wants to “start at the very beginning for people who might not know us.” She wants Jax to give his version of how they met.
“Jax’s Version of the Origin Story” - He left for Vegas a day early for Scheana’s birthday because he was meeting one of Scheana’s friends for a date. He ended up in Old Vegas (Golden Spike). While having dinner, KFC walked by and her “gorgeous, beautiful accent caught me”. When his date went to go the bathroom, Jax went over to KFC. “She had no idea who I was”. Her friend was there and knew everyone because she watched VPR. Katie and Schwartz were there. - Jax asked KFC what she did, and she responded she worked at Hooters. Jax waxes poetical about how much he loves Hooters, and his friends predicted that he would end up with a Hooters girl. “She had me at Hooters”. He tells us that “I was gonna take you [KFC] home that night”, but for reasons unknown it didn’t happen (KFC says probably because he had to take the original date home). - “After that we never left each other.” They hung out for three days in Vegas, and then proceeded to do the long distance thing. This was very expensive for them to maintain, so after two or three months she moved in to his apartment in Korea Town ($600 a month, all utilities included… though he didn’t have an air conditioner).
“Cruz” - “Best time to have a baby” was during the pandemic because “you” don’t have FOMO because no one else is out and doing anything. - KFC was sick for nearly the entire pregnancy with nausea/vomiting. - “I want another baby like now”, reports KFC. “One of our friends just announced she’s pregnant, so now she’s got baby fever again”, comments Jax. Jax wants Cruz out of diapers first. KFC has issue with Jax saying when she started having baby fever, a minor argument ensues. They try to play off Jax’s comment like it’s not in reference to Stassi. - KFC loves how Cruz and Summer love each other. - “He’s going to be so mad for what you did to me”, KFC says.
“How Well Do We Know Each Other” - KFC asks questions for Jax to answer. - KFC’s favorite color is not beige (Jax’s answer), it’s lavender. Jax is Pikachu shocked because she doesn’t wear it. Jax’s favorite color is not red (KFC’s answer), it’s black. KFC is Pikachu shocked because everything Jax owns is red, he clarifies that’s because that’s his dad’s favorite color. - KFC’s favorite food is hot wing flats from Hooters (Jax is right). Jax’s favorite food is a cheeseburger with ketchup and cheese only (KFC is right). - KFC’s favorite TV show is The Office. Jax’s is the same. KFC’s favorite episode where they go to Jan’s apartment. - KFC’s most annoying trait is that she drops everything and her fidgeting. Jax’s is snoring and leaving the cabinet doors open. - KFC’s biggest fear is heights. KFC doesn’t know what Jax’s fear is.
“NYC” - KFC says doing WWHL was “amazing!” When they were backstage, KFC got emotional because it “felt really good to be there”. They’ve been off the show for three years and Jax wasn’t sure how they’d be received, but they were really pleased with how friendly people were and how much these people missed them. - Andy always gives Jax a hard time. Jax can handle it better than KFC because her feelings get hurt super easily. “You need to care a little more”, observes KFC. - “We have an idea of what they’re gonna ask us”, Jax says before being cut off by KFC’s “We don’t know at all!” - KFC is embarrassed that she didn’t answer Raquel to Andy’s question about who else to to “rot in hell”. - Jax mentions donating the chunky knit sweater, which prompts KFC to ask why he was fighting Frank because she has not watched those episodes (She’s only seen the episodes where Scheana gets married to Shay, because Scheana showed her those). Jax, “for some reason”, wanted to get back together with Stassi, and was “amped to try to get her back and I’m not the type of guy who loses a girl to a guy.” He recaps that episode for KFC’s behalf.
Instagram - We are forced to listen to how she got her IG handle. She was lucky. Quick plug for her and Jax’s IG handles. - She’ll answer some questions that we ask her on her IG every episode. - “Who are you still friends with from VPR” KFC says Kristin and Scheana. Jax says everyone comes to their house all the time. “It’s the hub for everybody”. KFC forced Jax to talk to Kristin but he has not yet unblocked her. When Jax has beef with someone in the group, it makes KFC uncomfortable. - “What is our number one tip for marriage?” Jax says communication, laughter, “happy wife happy life”, and “pick and choose your battles”. KFC says patience. Jax talks over her all the time. - “Do you two miss the show?” They say yes. KFC says it’s hard to have people judge them over things they have no control over what’s happening. Jax whines about being the villain, but KFC calls him out on it. Jax says he was the cover for the other guys. Jax didn’t like the editing not showing the entire story. KFC tells him he needs to take responsibility. At the end, Jax was being a diva and not showing up for scenes. He needed a break. They would gladly go back if given a chance. - “How are you able to get the trust back after the cheating?” KFC was so madly in love that she wanted to stay with him. Jax love bombed her. It took a while to build the trust back. That is the biggest regret of Jax’s life (the cheating). Jax’s dad’s death brought them closer together. KFC addresses that she is a very forgiving person and she felt that Jax showed her that he was willing to change and willing to work.
“Scandoval”. - Way different than their personal cheating scandal because of the whole relationship between Raquel and Tom. Jax thinks there was another relationship behind even Raquels’ back. - “I’m just so shocked”, KFC opines. They discuss the “lack of empathy and lack of remorse.” Jax repeats what he said on WWHL by saying Ariana is very strong person and Raquel is not a very strong person and can be easily manipulated. - Jax reiterates that he knows Tom well, because he’s been friends with him for 22 years. - KFC wants to know what the end game was with the affair. Tom should have broken up with Ariana. - Jax reiterates how Schwartz told Sandoval to tell Ariana. Jax feels bad for Schwartz that he’s taking heat for knowing.
VPR Reunion (being filmed as they were recording this podcast) - Scheana wasn’t going to go up until 9pm last night because of the restraining order, 5 hours before filming - KFC doesn’t believe Scheana punched Raquel - They can’t wait to talk to Lala to find out what’s happening.

Hurt others then why God why you collecting from me when you didn't gave me anything why maybe tomorrow the boy will be lost or maybe he will continue this story who know.

Before I get into anything, I would like to give some background, I F17 had been in a relationship with my Ex (Call him X) For a year and a couple of months before I ended up breaking it off for many reasons. But before we had broken up, I had moved away. Where I started a new job with new people.

During my time with my new job, X and I had started to fall apart, and get into more fights where i had met a coworker M17 and him and i clicked, we had almost the same personilty and would always laugh and even follow or help each other out at work. He had known I had a BF at the time and i wouldn’t say he had ever made a move. But he had known we were fighting and going through a rough patch. (unkowing to him X and i had been fighting for months.) We barely had any shifts but the two we had were very fun.

I even texted him before, making a joke about how his dad was hot, we texted a little bit but nothing too much, before it just died down. Which i thought was normal, we hadn’t known each other much and it was kinda out of the blue.

Once we truly never had shifts together, i kinda just stopped thinking about him, with my own breakup and healing i had started to just work on myself and make myself better for any next lover I have.

I ended up going on a trip, more of a long weekened…in the middle of the week. Which made me have a shift with him which made him text me, while he was never a fast texter, it had never bothered me. For the three days i was out of town, we had texted and talked, I had also found out he had broke up with his ex. Once I had gotten back and we had a shift together. We hung out with each other none stop and we once again had gotten along very good. With us texting outside of work and then working togehter it was like we were already very close friends. I am even working around my days off to have shifts with him, which he knows and doens’t even mind. We work on Sunday’s now together which he wanted the day off on sundays. He’s on a track team and have meets every satureday

When I talked to him how we might have to wait and pretty much begged him to stay on a sunday until I can talk to my manger, he kept saying how. “It’s hard to say no to you.” I thought he was just being friendly until after i re looked at our text where he even would text. “It’s fine, I work with you.” Over text I had said we were married and at work, when I told my other coworker(C) That he was my favoirte for opening soething. He had gotten…Mad? Without getting mad, more of a playful hurt, but when I had asked him to help me, he wouldn’t do so unless i had told him he was my favirote.

So now we get into the heavy topics, I have ADHD, and with how I act, I can always come off more playful or even flirty. And that also means i can overlook things a lot more.

Reason A. he makes a lot of eyeconact, like a lot, anytime we talk and is also always close to me, as someone who isn’t very much into eye and eye it is hard to look away

Reason B. He had told me he was Christian but not the type to wait until marrige, almost like he wanted me to know that fact

Reason C. He had asked me to go to his prom this saturday. I had said yeah, he and his ex just broke up, he was out a date. And i really wanted to go. When i had went with X I had to beg. (I’m homeschooled.) I wanted to get a new dress but with my last prom with X and how much was spent on the dress i told him I couldn’t. But he didn’t complain one bit or not to me. He got a bowtie to match it, he asked for the color and photo, he got all the stuff done he needs to let me into his school all in one day.

Now going back to work, after our shift was done on sunday we had worked a night shift, we had hung around his car. And even played fight for a bit, he would playfully pull me into his car(I was still standing.) And If I would bit him he would bit back, ect. He was never too harsh or ever hurt me and we had a fun time

Lena (23F) and I (23F) have met in middle school. We really connected and became best friends. Not long after that, she met her boyfriend Luke (24M). She told me right away that he disliked me because he thought I was obnoxious and annoying. Since they started going out, we stopped hanging out as often because she spent all of her time with him, and even though it bothered me, I understood.
She moved to another city shortly after we entered high school. At first, we were texting every day, and every time she came back, we would hang out. Meanwhile, Luke and I became friends. It all seemed fine. However, Lena stopped texting as often and it took her days to respond. I was okay with it because she told me she was busy every time.
Fast forward to our senior year, I got into a relationship with Luke's best friend Michael (23M). However, he treated me like shit and cheated on me multiple times. I couldn't get over him over a year and Lena knew how many times I cried because of it and how much I suffered (this will be relevant later).
On our prom night, Luke got drunk and told me he was in love with me, and told me it was only a prank 2 days later. Still, I distanced myself from him because of it and that was when our friendship slowly started fading away.
After we finished highschool, Lena started responding less and less; it took her months to respond. In the meantime she became friends with my ex, Michael and his and Luke's whole friendgroup. I was a bit angry that she became friends with my ex, but I accepted it. When she came home, she would spend all of her time with them. She would invite me to hang out only if her bf and his friends were busy, which was once in a whole month of her being home. She would sometimes even promise me to hang out and then ditch me. I then decided to end our friendship, but every time she texted me, I stopped being angry.
I finally decided to put an end to it, after she didn't reply for 5 months. My birthday was in January. She wrote "happy birthday S, I love you and can't wait to see you" to which I replied only with "thank you". She left me on delivered. Her birthday was yesterday, and I didn't text her. My roommate told me I overreacted and that I should have wished her a happy birthday.
So I'm asking you, AITA for not wishing her a happy birthday?
EDIT: I forgot to mention, Lena always told me she wanted Luke and me to become friends and she was very happy when we were on good terms.

Hello everyone! This is admittedly my first time making a post here since I am normally pretty good at figuring things out fairly quickly, but my shorter-than-desired time table and busy work schedule has led me to ask this question after I got nowhere trying to work it out last night.
I am trying to randomize a range of cells with a checkbox. I don't think that the randarray function would work here because the range of cells I need to randomize is broken up into 4 sets of columns that need to be randomized individually, and I ideally need to make the 4 sections randomize separately from the same checkbox.
With that context given, I have an editable document for people to look at to get a better idea of exactly what I am trying to do. The particular ranges I need to randomize are T2:V41, W2:Y41, Z2:AB41, and AC2:AE41 on the "States Calc" page.

I’ve been getting very little sleep this weekend trying to catch up on school projects. I think my last full night of sleep was Thursday night. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, I have had 4ish hours of sleep and last night was the worst of it, I tried my hardest to get things finished but my brain was working so slow I stayed up all night and hardly got any work done. I slept about 2 hours this morning after giving up.
I realized this morning I had a really horrible sore throat. It’s super painful. Im going to try to go to the doctor tomorrow. I know lack of sleep weakens your immune system, so im assuming this is what happened and I caught something.
This might be a wake up call for me. I usually pull an all nighter every week so I can keep up. I have ADHD so all of my assignments take me a very long time to complete, but I know the lack of sleep isn’t helping. Im going to try to prioritize good sleeping habits moving forward. I can’t live like this. I feel miserable having sacrificed so much sleep and not even finishing what I needed to.
Luckily I am graduating this semester (as long as I can get my shit together) I just need to survive until then.

I got pregnant, it was a huge surprise (I have PCOS). I’ve always wanted babies but not yet - I’ve just started my career, and my relationship with the boyfriend at the time wasn’t 100% - we broke up a month before and were trying to make things work. To be fair, things were getting good again.
Two days after I found out I was pregnant, his mum died suddenly. It was a huge shock. So he was dealing with that, I was trying to support him and his family as best as I could, and we hardly spoke about the baby. It was so much for him to deal with.
A week later we started to talk about it - we’d been going in circles, both wanted to keep, then not, then keep, then not. A lot of uncertainty. I’d just moved into my parents again, both of us poor, his mum died, funeral bills, him looking after his family.
We finally decided on Friday to abort. Hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I was 5 1/2 weeks. On the Saturday, the abortion properly happened, and he was with me while I started it. 2 hours later he left as he had a curry night planned for his friends work do - I actually encouraged him to go as he needed something positive and fun to distract him from his mum/the baby etc.
I was alone and it was excruciating and traumatising and emotional. I’ve never felt such pain. He didn’t speak to me from 7pm til 4:30am. No messages to check on me, even though he knew how much pain I was in and almost called 999. I also understand he’s numb from his mum passing.
The next day he seemed very odd, and I saw he’d followed these young girls on instagram that he met that night while I was aborting our child. My hormones are a mess and I was paranoid and alone with no support. I messaged one of the girls if something happened (I’ve been cheated on before and this bf has been untrustworthy in the past)
He found out I messaged her and the following day broke up with me. Just like that. 2 days and I went through 2 huge losses.
I’ve still not processed what has happened but I am devastated and miss him. I wish he was there. I wish he came home. I wish he messaged me to check on me. I wish he didn’t follow girls on instagram while I was alone going through that.
Any support right now would be amazing. I feel so alone. :(

Preface: I was thinking about a thought experiment proposed by Nick Bostrom in his book Superintelligence. I thought it could be fun to have Chat GPT write up a poem from the perspective of an AI whose primary directive was to maximize human happiness. The end result of the thought experiment is not a happy one and it’s supposed to demonstrate the potential dangers that even a harmless directive might have.
Note that the poem below was written by Chat GPT. I provided prompts and targeted questions to get the poem to strike the right tone and timing. In only a few places, I manually edited some lines to remove the Yoda speak where it was unnecessary but I kept mostly everything in tact, since it sounds so much creepier in the words of Chat GPT.
Final note, the last portion of the poem is a derivation from the thought experiment, but I thought it really cranked up the creep to 11.

Most impressive pre-tournament win: 63-61 @ Utah State
Worst loss: 67-76 vs. New Mexico
San Diego State didn't have many opportunities for big non conference wins. They did beat Ohio State back in November, but the Buckeyes massively underperformed expectations this season. They also lost a neutral site game to a very good Saint Mary's team. A win at Utah State is none the less very impressive and there are many worse losses than a home game against New Mexico.
Where San Diego State is great: The Aztecs are elite defensively. They allow the 2nd lowest 3pt percentage in the nation at 27.8%. For reference, in three meetings against Utah State, a team that makes 39% of their 3s, the Aztecs held them to 26% from behind the arc. Creighton shot just 12% from 3 in the Elite 8 as well. San Diego State's athleticism also allows them to limit scoring opportunities in transition. Alabama in the Sweet 16 had zero transition baskets despite playing at the 4th fastest pace in division 1.
Where San Diego State isn't great: San Diego State is not without its problems offensively. Matt Bradley, the team's star player, has struggled in this tournament shooting 3-14 in the previous two games. At times, SDSU's offense consists of 30 seconds of dribble handoffs where different guys take turns looking for driving lanes or getting decent 3pt looks. For the Aztecs to cut down the nets on Monday night, they need to be more efficient on this end of the floor
Biggest Asset: San Diego State's best asset is their experience and depth. This rotation is entirely upperclassmen. 7 players on this roster are seniors. They also boast an incredible depth of players that are capable of shouldering an offensive load. Matt Bradley hasn't needed to be great, because Lamont Butler can be the leading scorer, or Darrion Trammell, or Micah Parrish, etc.
How San Diego St. can win it all: San Diego State, like any of these four teams, can absolutely win it all. This team can and will bring the defense. If you can fluster Alabama, led by one of the best point guards in the country and a wing that will be a lottery pick this summer, you can overpower any offense. The key for the Aztecs is going to be efficiency on offense. Shooting 38% from the field against FAU and MIA/CONN probably isn't going to cut it. That was the team's shooting percentage against Creighton, a game they were very fortunate to win. If the Aztecs make their shots efficiently, beating them is going to be an incredibly difficult task.

Just discovered last night that my best friend's M(23) GF(22) is cheating on him with my other friend whom I've known for 2 years. The guy doesn't deserve this, he's the perfect person in every aspect (good family, money, well educated, good looks etc). To such an extent that the girls idolize in their movies. The other guy to whom I've known for two years is a typical Delhi stud. I went for a night sleepover at the second guy's place to play FIFA. The only grace was that the girl didn't recognize me as I've rarely met her because she and the other guy are from a different college but I have seen her on my best friend's social media. She and the other guy literally went all out onneach other the whole night while I was in the hall adjacent to the bedroom. I couldn't do anything for the next 4 hrs. Literally can't feel any emotions since it happened. I don't know whether I should tell.my best friend about this because we have our final yr engg exams next week and our career depends on it. I'm thinking if such a thing can happen to a guy like him then it can happen to anyone. I keep seeing myself in his place. I've never been a good looking, desirable perfect guy, never even been near a girl. I'm one of the old school romantics guy. We have two cats who get prinocate flea treatment every 3 weeks (as recommended by the vet while we’re trying to get rid of the fleas) We have flea lamps, which at the moment aren’t catching anything but did when there were more fleas. We vacuum often, clean their bedding, spray the crap out of everything with Acclaim, brush them every night - And we’ll go maybe 10 days without finding anything, then bam - fleas.
Just lost what else we can do at this point. Only thing I can think of is we have wooden floorboards with gaps, could they survive under there? Either that or prinocate just isn’t working, but the vet keeps reassuring us it’s good.
Any advice would be much appreciated!

I use canned hominy every so often in soups and stews and such. My usual method is to simply drain and rinse the contents of the can, then dump it straight into the stew-pot for the last 10-15 minutes of cooking.
I've got plans to use hominy in a giant batch of pozole this Saturday... but I went to a different store than normal, and couldn't find the canned stuff I'm familiar with. Instead, I got a bag of dried hominy. (2 in fact. One white hominy, and one golden).
There's directions on the package of how to soak them, prior to using, but I still have a couple of questions...
First and foremost, how much dried hominy, when soaked, would yield about the same as you'd get from a standard 14.5 oz can?
Second, since I'm making a long braising stew, could I treat it kind of like barley where it's fine to dump it in dry, so long as it cooks for a good hour or two? Or will it turn out weird and overly chewy or something, if I don't soak it first?
Third, if I AM going to soak it over-night, is it worthwhile to add any flavor to the water? Maybe some garlic / onion / cumin / citrus / whatever? Maybe soak it in chicken broth instead, for a little added punch? Or is that all kind of useless and essentially a waste of perfectly good herbs / spices / etc?
Fourth, is there any significant different between gold and white? The cans I get are usually mixed.
Finally, any other suggestions you've got related to pozole (rojo) in general, I'm all ears. I've made it a handful of times and have always been thrilled with the results... But I'm open to any other tips / tricks that I might not be aware of.

I had a dream last night that i was leaving college and trying to find my car in the dark and rain. There were thousands of cars. Finally I gave up and I then woke up in a empty aged version of my mothers old home. I was dead and I was t aware yet until I found photos of me laying in bed that said “ bed is unusually wet”. I was lying on my back in the pictures covered in sweat. Then I am outside and find that my mother had ran her car into the woods and I had to pull her body out of a ditch. I was so sad and felt so guilty. I looked down and had a hundred dollar bill in my panties. I went into the house to find my dad that I never seen but twice in my childhood sitting on a old moldy couch that smelt of old ashes and mold. He was playing a old PlayStation. I asked my dad “what is this place”? My dad said “you died”. I looked around the aged version of my moms house and tried to find ways to get high to calm myself but then my dad said “ we don’t have that kind of stuff when we die, we can’t get high after death”. I went and sat in front of the tv to see him looking at a start screen for a very old gta game. I then walked to a room with nothing but a dirty small mattress on the floor and sat down. I was so confused because I didn’t remember struggling and being scared to die. I walked into the bathroom and seen my mom. Somehow she could hear me talk one last time. I said “I’m so sorry I wasn’t a good daughter, I love you so much mom and I hope you can be happy now”. My mother said “ you were a great daughter, I love you”. Then I told her that I must have died for a reason though because I thought her depression was my fault.
