I've been using the Rokid Airs for almost a year now, and used the Nreal Airs for a few months before I went back to the Rokids. Both fit in my coat pockets with a folding bluetooth keyboard so I can use DeX with my Fold or my S23U without carrying around a monitor-sized bag.
The new Rokid Max bests the older Rokid Airs and Nreal Airs in several aspects: - 120hz refresh and bigger, 50 degree FOV - 75g weight - 600 nits peak brightness - Increased diopter adjustment range (no need to use prescription lens inserts like I had to do w/ Nreal Air) - HDCP compliance to support streaming media apps previously blocked in other glasses
They also demoed the Rokid Max Pro (or Rokid Pro Max, I forgot , lol). The "Pro" has a B+W pass through camera for hand tracking and other AR. No mention of release of the Pro, I could find. If you've ever had the older Rokid Air and remember your serial number, you can get like a $60 off the Rokid Max from Shopify if you also had posted anything on social media about it.

So yesterday I finished C2P2 and really enjoyed it. I'm on Alice/Kanna die route because the moment after the Room of Lies ended, I was positive Reko was switched with a fake (it seemed logical because they had both dolls and AIs of semingly everyone). And I think Sou in very interesting and I really wanna know more about him. (yes I killed a child, what about it?)
I have few theories I just want to put out there, maybe hoping to got back here when I finish Chapter 3

• Sou has a chance to live and I have 2 reasons to think that.

1. The Roster Page information is badly presented. That theory comes from my programming side and knowing how floating point values can be deceiving. The kidnappers told Sou how extremely precise those values were, so I'm troubled by the fact that they only showed one number after the decimal point (not as precise as Sou make it look). My guess is that his actual chance of survival is something like 0.01% Either that, or the AI Shin had to have a different First Trial (they didn't have that info yet), and him having that information changed how he acted, in turn changing the outcome. (I still think the 1st one is true, because it's a better plot twist imo)

• Memondarium is a closer look at the Hades Incident. Some of y'all probably forgot what Hades Incident even is, so here's a quick rundown. As stated by Keiji, there was a death game very similar like this one before. It was one done by multiple organized crime families, to find a true ruler of the criminal underground and thus, The Hades Incident. I'd make sense not only because both Memondarium and Hades Incident have no real connection to the story thus far, but also because what is the Main Game, if not a deadly game of Mafia? It'd only make sense if it was somehow connected to the world of organized crime!
• Everyone was destined to participate in the Death Game, since they were born. I know that might sound crazy, but that makes a ton of sense if you look at the info we have right now!

1. Gashu once said "Everyone, have you ever harbored doubts about your upbringing", after being asked about what being a "Candidate" for the death game means. My guess is that everyone here was chosen for this game from a very young age. Why? To continue what the Hades Incident started of course! I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that everyone in the death game was somehow connected to the Hades Incident. So descendants of participants, friends with someone who investigated it (Keiji) etc. In a world where that is true, I'd see either Kai, Sara or Sou be a grandchild of the winner (Kai being the person on the inside, Sara being the one with highest win probability, and Sou because it'd be a cool plot twist. Someone who's survival chances are extremely low is a son of someone who won the very same game before).
2. "Win, and survive. For you were all born to win." is something that Gashu says right before Main Game (I believe, might be before the trading phase). I'm not sure what it means, but Gashu is way too careful with his words to just spout something like that (especially because Floor Masters cannot lie). My best bet is that he's saying something along the lines of "Everyone here was born from great people, thus all of you can accomplish great things"

• The secret room photo is Hades Incident's winner. Pretty self explanatory. The photo is titled "Inauguration" and portrays a silver-haired man wearing a business suit. The only logical reason for it being here I see is him being the 'new' leader of the criminal underground/ASU-NARO (kidnappers' organization). I also think ASU-NARO was born from that criminal underground, but I don't have much evidence for that. It's really just a hunch.
• Shin knew a real Sou, and they were very close. We now know that Sou's actual name is Shin Tsukimi. Which only makes things more complicated, when we think about the fact that Alice confessed to Keiji who he killed in a post chapter scene. The name of the man Alice killed was Sou Hiyori. We also know from a file of Kai's laptop about a secret, 21st participant who got deleted from the database. Someone very closely resembling Shin (same teal hair and scarf). The only reason they would delete someone from the database is in a case of their death. I'm gonna assume that those 2 deaths are connected, because of Checkov's gun (the writer introduced the name Sou Hiyori as the name of Alice's victim, they created a character that looks basically like the person that we knew as Sou the whole time) I don't know if they were brothers (unlikely because of the last name), friends or lovers. I just know they're connected, because Shin has Sou's scarf.

That's all I have to say, it's gonna be fun to look back when I have more knowledge! I'm also turning off reply notifs to avoid spoilers, so you can go ham with them!

Just finished reading Couch Co-op In Diablo 4 Isn't As Good As It Should Be (msn.com) online and I'm struggling to figure out what's he's talking about.
I don't think he understands the difference between couch co-op and just plain old co-op. I may be off base here but I'm pretty sure that co-op can be played with up to 4 players. Who the heck is playing with 2 players on the same PC? Ok, maybe a handful of players are but the vast majority aren't. Most couch co-op is going to be on a console and I'm not sure what the number of players is there. There's very little reason to have even 2 players playing on the same PC. It's just not realistic nor that easy to implement so why should they waste their time trying to support it? I think he's delusional.
If he wants to play on his PC and have his lady friend play on the PS4 Pro he can play with up to 2 other players provided all 4 have the necessary software, but that's not couch co-op that's just plain co-op. If he's bitching about the fact that he'll have to buy the software for both his PC and his PS4 Pro, I don't know what to tell him as that's how the gaming industry works. Better start talking with Microsoft and Sony before bringing Blizzard into the discussion or just buy the software for the PS4 Pro and be done with it as it's not that different from the PC version.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to post a quick bit of info about this, just to clarify things. As you know I took over this sub not that long ago, and I'm still working out how everything works. One thing that's very important to me is sharing real, genuine information. I don't want this sub to spread misinformation, and I don't want it to spread false hope either. Neither of those things help anyone!
I wasn't sure how to manage the 'herbal cures' side of things, because I know there are supplements that can help with symptoms and I don't want to stop discussion about that, so I left things vague, but I feel I need to be a bit more specific now. I've changed one of the group rules to include no discussion about herbal cures. (Please note that herbal help for managing symptoms is allowed).
I'm big on evidence-based treatment. Not anecdotal stories, not nice ideas, but things that have been proven to work. And right now, there are no herbal treatments that are known to work. There are a couple of things being researched at the moment (green tea extract and vitamin D) but while hopeful those studies haven't proven anything yet. I've been online in fibroids groups for over 7 years now and I've lost count of the number of women who have posted that they tried the herbal or holistic route and all it did was cost them time (and/or money). Maybe there have been one or two people who have had success, put that with all of those who haven't and I can't in good conscience allow herbal or holistic treatments to be promoted here (and by promoted I just mean put forward as valid options). If you find a research paper on something and want to share please do.
We'd all love to avoid surgery, and if you want to look into holistic options yourself, or in other subs, that's fine. But this sub is for proven treatments... I want you all to feel safe here, like you're not going to either be scammed, or be led to google and end up at a scam site giving them your money.

Stemming from the unpopular opinion thread, I have a couple ways they can redo the old Dynasty Warriors BB/Online/Z game.
TL;DR do the Musou MOBA thing again but better, good in concept, decent execution at first but horrible in sustenance
Starting off, they need to work with a much better hosting company, and also have WAY more communication and support for other regions that aren't just Japan. (Good luck with that one.) The concept of it was fantastic, the gameplay was solid with a good mix of Musou combat and MOBA style stats and match progression, and the original weapon designs exclusive to the Online version were actually really cool. The CAW at the time was good, but imagine what they can do now with better tools and (hopefully, crossing my fingers here) a better budget to utilize those tools.
Unfortunately, they didn't really incentivize any way to play other than the PVP modes, they hardly ever released any patches that changed the direct balance of the game to properly affect the PVP modes, the only thing most people played was the team deathmatch mode and if you did anything other than that to gain XP you were looked at confusingly by the other players. if you didn't want to play on the one map everyone used you weren't really getting a match in, and because of the meta quickly established from no balance patches if you didn't use one of 6 certain weapons you were trolling.
Also the way they got their money from players was...maybe okay at best and ludicrous at worst. You were limited to only 4 weapons unless you wanted to specifically buy more armories to have an extra 4 slots, the basic crafting system for upgraded weapons and armor was practically unusable unless you paid for the higher-grade versions which gave players a horrifying pay-to-win advantage which if you're leaning into a MOBA type of game is the absolute fucking worst thing imaginable.
So I propose they do it again but just...more solid structure.
If you want to lean more on the MOBA aspect of the online version, then give everyone access to weapons they've unlocked, to use at any time, and only make players pay for anything they want to unlock ahead of time. In regular intervals, make certain weapons free of use to allow newer players the option to use those weapons if they haven't had a chance to unlock it themselves, to see if it fits their style and if they want to add it to their permanent collection. This one is more optional but would allow for more diversity in play styles - keep the whole Emblem system for changing the first and last charge attacks, but maybe add extra Emblems on other charge attacks in the combo to spice things up more. Keep the Upgrade Flask and the Flask Wheel the same. That aspect of combat was actually super neat and I wish they would experiment with that style of in-combat upgrades again in newer titles. Allow everyone to have the same upgrades on weapons and armor to keep things fair, and allow players to purchase any available items given, but in exchange for more gold/whatever currency they decide to use. Allow players to craft those higher tier items if they can, but don't lock those behind a paywall for crafting only - especially not only crafting the lower tier items. Shift the bonus stats on armor pieces into the weapon upgrades themselves to allow more player choice - do they want to give their weapon more HP in exchange for having slightly less attack, or do you want to add more elemental damage and activation chances in exchange for being more vulnerable to elemental effects yourself? Give the player that level of freedom, just the same as you would buying items in a different MOBA. If you're going to be giving any extra stats on armoweapons, make the enemy players aware of those bonuses with just the same level of information as any MOBA. Don't make those stats invisible or make the enemy players have to guess why they're taking so much damage from something they can't even see - or on the other hand if someone is using a good-damage charge attack and the enemy's life bar hardly moves. Two words: BALANCE. PATCHES. If you notice that many players are using a certain weapon type and they're winning more matches than often, or if other types of weapons aren't performing to the same standard as what is expected, add a patch along the way that adjusts the numbers so that every weapon can perform around the same level. Give the players more incentive to play any of the other modes available if you still want to stick to the basic MMO route. Have certain weekend events or something to spice things up and make people want to play something other than just the PVP team deathmatch mode, alongside the Showdowns and Campaigns. Are you getting more XP from the mode where you're capturing bases or by playing on this one map instead? Give that one a try instead if you're looking to expedite your potential collection. Make any other available options such as bodyguards, equippable items, etc. actually clear to the player and what kind of bonuses they give if you're going to go down that route, both for the player if they're using them and for the enemy if they have to play against it.

I've been routing Metal Slug X for score and have consequently been paying a lot of attention to prisoners. What I found was that the total "recaptured prisoners" presented at the end of the game was incorrect, consistently 3 or 4 lower than the actual number. This confused me, so I watched some other people's runs to see if they had the same issue. Most of them did.
After thinking about it, the most obvious answer was Rumi Aikawa. She shows up 4 times over the course of the game and is sort of a special prisoner who might be treated differently in the game's code. It's a small enough detail that most players would never notice and it could easily be overlooked in development. After some rudimentary testing my theory seemed correct.
But it doesn't always work. This run is 3 prisoners short on the end screen by my count, but they got Rumi each time she appeared so they should be short 4 if my theory checks out. Then this run actually has the correct number displayed at the end; all Rumis were counted.
So what's going on? The two runs I highlighted were both performed for a live audience and I 100% believe them to be legitimate, so what is going on behind the scenes? Why isn't this consistent?
Of course it's possible I'm miscounting or not understanding something, but I keep running the numbers and they just don't add up. I can't find any documentation on this.
