2023.03.20 16:40 code_hunter_cc Android Studio marks R in red with error message "cannot resolve symbol R", but build succeeds
Android
Want to improve this post? Provide detailed answers to this question, including citations and an explanation of why your answer is correct. Answers without enough detail may be edited or deleted. In every project I've tried to create in Android Studio, all usages of R are marked in red with the error message "cannot resolve symbol R", but the compilation succeeds and the application runs. This is really annoying, as it blocks auto-completion and shows huge red waved lines all over my code.
I'm running Android Studio 1.7.0 and creating the project with default settings. A screenshot is attached:

This is my build.gradle:
buildscript { repositories { mavenCentral() } dependencies { classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:0.4' }}apply plugin: 'android'dependencies { compile files('libs/android-support-v4.jar')}android { compileSdkVersion 17 buildToolsVersion "17.0.0" defaultConfig { minSdkVersion 7 targetSdkVersion 16 }} This is how the Project Structure looks like:

Any idea how to fix this?

2023.03.20 16:39 theorico There seems to be only one holder of all Preferred Shares and Warrants, who is exercising them since Feb 28th. Almost exactly the same TSO (shares outstanding) results from this assumption for March 15th! I present a forecast for the future TSO based on various scenarios for the future share price.
| After having intensively read and discussed the Offering, I finally have a good understanding of the conversion and exercise of the (Preferred Stock Warrants (PSW) into Preferred Shares (PS) and of the PS into Common Shares (CS). BBBY has provided us a new number for the Total Shares Outstanding (TSO) as of 15.03.2023, 335,404,588 shares. We know from previous filings that so far in total 14,212 PSW were exercised into PS, which resulted in around $ 135 million as proceeds to the company. So I decided to define some assumptions for the Conversion of PS into CS to check what TSO I would get, and compare to the newly reported TSO. My assumptions are the following: - There is only one PSW owner. This entity bought all 23,685 PS from the initial offering (paid $ 225 million for that) and by doing so got also all the 84,216 PSW.
- This entity will execute their PS using the maximum allowed % of 9.99%. This means that after each conversion, this entity will have converted 9.99% of the new final TSO, including the conversion just made.
- Starting from Feb 28th, the first possible date for PS conversion into CS according to the offering, this entity will issue one Convertion Notice every day, until all its PS (23,685 + 14,212 = 37,897) was executed.
- Each daily conversion will use the Alternate Conversion Price (ACP) of the day the Conversion Notice (CN) is being issued.
- After each settlement day, the holder sells the CS to be entitled to another 9.99% conversion.
- The initial TSO before the conversions is 117,300,000 million CS.
The above are the assumptions. There are also some facts that I will also list below, and are backed up by the Prospectus of this Offer: - The holder can issue the Conversion Notice until 16:30 of the day, or adjust the CN until 10:00am of the next trading day.
- Each Convertion Notice can take up to 2 trading days for the CS resulting from the conversion to settle and become available to the owner.
- After the April 6th Forced Exercise, all subsequent ones happen after 22 trading days from each other. So all Forced Exercises of the PSW end on October 2023.
- For convenience, the daily VWAP used in my calculations are listed here, source Market Chameleon.
https://preview.redd.it/f367lwtujwoa1.png?width=1064&format=png&auto=webp&s=342877f03f9f71fb5be6922f837daee8b9d05b85 Here is the result, applying all assumptions and facts above: https://preview.redd.it/jnkalj9ckwoa1.png?width=2195&format=png&auto=webp&s=0499cd6e4cb83ad697e9379c95c70917625dc99f The results simply amazed me! Look at the final TSO of line 10. On March 15th, the final TSO according to this calculation gives 335,961,362 shares, which is very, very close to the officially reported 335,404,588 using the same reference date. Moreover, when we continue to execute the conversions until all 37,897 PS that the entity had are all converted. we reach an estimated final TSO of 428,613,294 CS for all the PS related to the initial offering plus the 1st March tranche of exercised PSW. I firmly believe that as of today, March 20th, the real TSO is that number and it was simply was not yet formally reported by BBBY. We may see that number when we receive the final Proxy for the Reverse Split Meeting. Now that all PS available were converted, we need to wait for the next Forced Exercise of the PSW, that according to the Offering should happen on April 6th. Each upcoming Forced Exercise of the PSW will be done for 10,527 PSW (or $ 100,000,006,500), except for the last one, according to the 3rd ABL Amendment, that will be lower to deduct what was converted in excess in march (aprox $ 35 million), so the last one will be done with only 6,842 PS. Below you see the results for many different values of estimated VWAP, so you can compare the final TSOs for each different VWAP. $ 1.0 $ 1.5 $ 3.0 $ 5.0 $ 7.0 ($ 6.15 will apply) $ 0.5 ($ 0.716 will apply) You can see that in some cases, the final TSO would be even higher then the authorized share amout (900,000,000)! This is one of the reasons why probably BBBY is proposing the reverse split. Of course the future VWAP will vary, the tables above are just an exercise to see aproximatelly what would be the final TSO in different scenarios for the VWAP. Please not that the tables above just consider PS, the Common SHare Warrants (CSW) are not considered in this analysis of the projected final TSO, but they will for sure increase it. CONCLUSIONS I really believe that we can indeed have a single owner for all PS and PSW. This entity seems to have need converting since Feb 28th, as we come up to almost exactly the same TSO as reported by BBBY for March 15th. If the share price continues to stay low, the projected final TSO will be even higher than the amount of authorized shares. This is one reason for the Reverse Split. Another reason for the Reverse Split is the 200% reserve as definied in the offer, but in this post I will not address this. submitted by theorico to BBBY [link] [comments] |
2023.03.20 16:39 dotbarnfather Domantas Sabonis is Quietly Separating Himself from the Rest of the Pack When It Comes to the Conversation Around 3rd Best Center in the NBA
On March 15th, Domantas Sabonis recorded his second triple-double in as many games against the Chicago Bulls. His 14 points, 10 assists, 17 rebounds somewhat went underdiscussed after some guy named De'Aaron Fox hit a game-winner following DeMar DeRozan’s four point play to tie the game. But also underdiscussed: that triple-double put him at 11 on the season, now second most in the NBA behind Nikola Jokic’s incredible 28.
Sabonis has quietly had a career defining season. His 19.2 points per game (ninth among centers) is his best since 2020-21. He’s averaging career highs in rebounds (12.5, best in the NBA) and assists (7.2, second best among centers in the NBA). His splits have been amazing– 61.2% from the field (career high) and 35.5% from deep (arguably the best of his career if we don’t count 52.9% in 2018-19 on 0.2 attempts per game).
But it is tough to talk about a player like Sabonis – not because he isn’t great, but because of the two centers ahead of him in Jokic and Embiid. And Jokic is arguably a better version of what he offers. Then again, he wasn’t selected last when it came to the NBA All-Star Game. He was second to last among the reserves. Things might be changing.
The Sacramento Kings will never be his team while alongside De’Aaron Fox yet in many ways, his influence this season could create the argument that he has been the most important when it comes to this Kings glow-up. And before anyone gets way too deep into the weeds, Fox is clearly the best player, I’m just gassing up Sabonis.
Sabonis is very much an underrated passer. Per game, he’s recording five or more passes to six different Kings players. He, Jokic and Vucevic are the only three centers in the NBA to average more than 50 passes made per game. And his assists pointed created (19.2) averages out to 2.667 points per assist – speaking to just how good he has been about finding the open man to generate a good three-point look. For reference, Jokic is looking at 2.49 points per assist, Karl-Anthony Towns is averaging 2.34, Julius Randle is at 2.68 and Embiid is at 2.54. It does help that Sabonis has players like Kevin Huerter, Keegan Murray, Malik Monk and Harrison Barnes being absolute friends behind the arch. But they still need the ball in their hands to shoot. It has also been nice to see his flexibility in the post – passing 49.2% in post-up situations.
And what has also been refreshing is that he isn’t reliant on the pick-and-roll – averaging only 2.5 possessions per game. Instead, it has been his plays cutting to the basket, give-and-go situations – scoring 68% of the time and getting to the line 20.9% of the time on 3.8 possessions per game.
While everyone knows where his scoring is coming from—78% of his shots coming less than 8 ft from the basket—he’s shown a flexibility of he to get there. Overall, he has quietly been assisted less than his two counter parts – 60.5% of his makes being assisted compared to Embiid and Jokic’s 63.4%. And less than 8 ft from the basket, he’s assisted 55.4% of the time compared to Jokic’s 59.7% and Embiid’s 64%.
This isn’t trying to break the wheel, change the world or the narrative that it isn’t a two-man race for best center in the NBA right now. But Sabonis is quietly making a good case to create some separation from the rest of the NBA when it comes to the argument around best centers. Still not a defensive juggernaut, his contribution on the offensive end has been incredibly important to one of the best stories in the NBA -- if not the best. And while he continues to receive recognition (3x All Star, 4 All-NBA votes in 2020-21), it might be time to start taking his campaign a little bit more serious.

2023.03.20 16:39 maxspina It’s so easy to cook!! The best cheesecake recipe I’ve ever eaten!!
1 wish I had tried this recipe before, the result is amazing! Look no further than this incredible Cheesecake recipe! l've tried a lot of Cheesecakes in my time, but this one takes the cake - literally. It's so creamy, fluffy, and full of flavor, you won't be able to resist. And the best part? You don't need any special equipment to make it - just a few simple ingredients and a bit of know-how. It's the best Cheesecake I've ever eaten and my family can't get enough of it. This Cheesecake recipe is so delicious that my family doesn't even bother buying cheesecake from bakeries or restaurants anymore. Once you try it, you'll see why. The creamy and sweet cheese flavor is simply incredible and I guarantee that you'll fall in love with this recipe after just one bite. It's so good that you could make it every day and never get tired of it.
Ingredients: • 200 g cookies • 30 g unsalted butter, melted • 800 g cream cheese, at room temperature • 200 g heavy cream • 3 large eggs • 1tsp stevia (or sweetener of your choice) Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). 2. Crush the cookies into fine crumbs using a blender or by placing them in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin. 3. Combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter and mix until well combined. 4. Line a mold with baking paper. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a mold. Use a flat-bottomed glass or measuring cup to press the crumbs firmly and evenly into the bottom of the pan. 5. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. Remove it from the oven and set it aside to cool while you prepare the cheesecake filling. 6. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and heavy cream until smooth and creamy. 7. Add one teaspoon of stevia to the cream cheese mixture and beat until well combined. 8. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, until the mixture is smooth and creamy. 9. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust in the mold. 10. Place the mold into a larger baking dish and pour hot water into the baking dish until it reaches about halfway up the sides of the square mold. 11. Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly. 12. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and allow it to cool completely to room temperature. Then, transfer it to the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. This helps the flavors to meld together and develop fully. 13. Open a can of peaches in syrup and drain off the excess syrup. 14. Cut into slices and arrange over the top of the chilled cheesecake. 15. Gently press down on the peaches to help them adhere to the cheesecake. 16. Serve immediately, or cover the cheesecake and refrigerate until ready to serve. Note: You can also add a dollop of whipped cream on top of the sliced peaches for an extra touch of sweetness and creaminess. Enjoy! #fastandeasyrecipes #tastyfood #cheesecake

2023.03.20 16:38 throwaway25105555 Which MVP race was more toxic: Westbrook v Harden 2017 OR Jokic v Embiid 2023
This sub has absolutely exploded in size since 16-17, so there are a ton of people that were not present during the 2017 MVP race.
It was as toxic as taking in lead or mercury. Posts everyday about who’s better, who’s leading the race. If someone had a bad day, the fans of that player should log off for the day or two. It was downright BAD.
This season sort of reminds me of those times.
Which was more toxic?

Hi all, I’m sure this has been discussed before now so my apologies! Will they be releasing the episodes to streaming on Sunday mornings before they air live that same evening? I believe this was the case last year but I could be wrong. Really, I just want to watch them as soon as humanly possible and assure that I have access to do so haha.
I use Showtime Anytime from my parent’s cable subscription. Any help/insight is greatly appreciated!
