Hey, my brother and I have gone back to 4th edition for a change of pace and I am a bit confused about the rules for falling back.
If I have charged my brother's Tau firewarriors, and they pass their morale test from losing the assault, can they voluntarily fall back from combat. What I mean is, can the unit fall back even if they passed morale, what are the rules for shooting after they retreat from combat and are the subject to a sweeping advance if they try to get back out.
The rules for making a normal move don't say anything about moving out of combat, or that locked units can't perform normal moves. As such i'm a bit confused about the options for those poor firewarriors once my Genestealers get within clawing range.

I'm starting playing my first 1e campaign with 3 other players and I've decided to play a kineticist because honestly this class sounds awesome. The problem I encountered is that I can't seem to decide on which element I should take, as I'm not sure what my position in the party will be.
The other PCs are bard, alchemist with a bird it can fly on and a fighter.
I've decided on a goblin kineticist but can't decide on wether I should pick Earth or Aether.
Earth will add durability and will allow me to also be kind of a tank and focus on melee, but will limit my utility outside of combat.
Aether will put me more in the rogue role, and will give me more utility, but as I understand my damage will be a bit worse. I can still be in melee but I'll be less durable.
My stats are STR 10 (8 after racial) CON 17 DEX 14 (18 after racial) WIS 12 INT 12 CHA 8 (6 after racial)
I'll start with Roll with it as my first feat and will probably take weapon finesse at 3rd.
Will appreciate any advice or help deciding on the direction I should take

If you ask for a dragon, PLEASE try offer one of your own dragons back to the community in a separate comment. Offering one dragon to the community does not stop you using any dragon you like for your own co-op breeding. Remember to quickly select the dragon you are offering to others in its habitat and touch the blue heart in the top left. This way you can offer that dragon to your friends while your own co-op cave uses a different one. Always remember to switch back to your "chosen" dragon if you breed in the co-op cave with any other dragon.

Takeyuki Kanda - Director and storyboard artist

A director, storyboard artist, and animator best known for his contributions to the mecha genre. Takeyuki Kanda’s life and early career isn’t widely documented, but it is known that he joined Mushi Pro in 1966 and participated in the production of Wonder Three as his first contribution to a production. After the bankruptcy of Mushi Pro Kanda became a freelancer, working with a variety of studios, but had a particularly close working relationship at Studio Sunrise due to his connections with the Mushi Pro alumni present there. Kanda’s participation on Sunrise’s contracted production work on mecha series like Brave Raideen and Super Electromagnetic Robo Combattler V was instrumental to the course of his career, but before his largest claims to fame were made he had his directorial debut on the 1978 adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s Le Petit Prince, which he co-directed with Kôji Yamazaki. The next year Kanda was tasked with picking up directorial duties on The Ultraman from episode fourteen onward, which became his first big hit. However, it was with 1981’s Fang of The Sun Dougram that Kanda became a star director, becoming a heavily requested director by sponsors looking for talent to helm mecha anime productions, namely Bandai. Throughout his prominence as a mecha anime director Kanda continued to work on other genres —namely for children— having directed episodes of Doraemon TV series as well as directing the theatrical film Doraemon: What Am I for Momotaro, directed Shiroi Kiba: White Fang Monogatari, * Dragon Quest, and *Fun Moomin Family among others. No, this is not to judge you.
Yes, I know there are people out there in situations that make it extremely hard or impossible to uphold the precepts.
Yes, there are schools or practises that require you or have the option for you to take more than the five precepts. But this question is about the fundamental five precepts that exist in all schools.

Hey, all. I'm just looking for some opinions, advice, and a little bit of a space to organize my thoughts.
I have a 2016 Forester XT with 84k miles on it. I bought it used in 2020 from Carvana, right before the world shut down. I am the 4th owner.
I love this car, but it has already been the most expensive car I've ever owned.
July 2021, SOA paid in full to have the engine completely resealed due to seepage. Ever since then, I had been dealing with a gas or exhaust smell that I feel hinted at an exhaust manifold leak. I took it back a couple of times, and the dealer service dept. kept telling me they couldn't recreate the problem, or told me it was normal in winter, etc.
I took it in recently because I was having some surging when coming to a stop, and I thought it was the CVT. They instead found the engine was running lean, and changed some sort of sensor that I can't remember the name of. In the process, they found a small cam carrier leak (quoted $6k), but Reddit quickly reassured me it's not vital to do right now.
Now, the smell is more prominent, and almost smells like something is burning. I took it back in, and they told me they still want to do the cam carriers, and now add in the exhaust manifold, as well as all of the hard fuel lines. They said it would be a minimum of 20 hours of labor, and I'm looking at like $7-8k for all services.
They told me they did not see any safety concerns, so I took the car back and they advised I reach out to SOA again.
I do plan to call SOA, and maybe that will be the end of the story. They were fantastic the first time, so my hope is I get the same generosity this time around.
If they cannot help, or cannot help enough, my next step would be a second opinion at an independent Subie mechanic, but they're 35 minutes away.
If nobody can help, I think I would have to trade the car in for another Subaru and let it be the dealership's problem.
The thing is, I'm losing trust in this car's long term reliability. I don't want to trade it in, and wanted to try to get 10-15 years out of it. While I'm not a CVT hater, I'm concerned the extended warranty will expire and then the CVT would fail.
Carvana offered $6k over what I owe on the car. I'm in a position where I can afford to trade in and get something else (ideally under $25k with a warranty), but prices are still pretty ridiculous in my area right now. $30k for a 2018 Crosstrek? No.
But I also love this car, and don't want to get rid of it. But I can't afford the costly repairs on this thing. I do maintenance myself, but don't have the space to do larger repairs. It's draining my mediocre savings each year.
What would you do in my situation?

I can't remember the name of the monitor but I think it was some 32" or 27" asus monitor that could go into 24" with black borders, for a more competitive screen size. I'm looking for a monitor with the same feature but with the original size of 42", why 42"?, I'm trying to have a setup where there is a main 42" monitor with 24" vertical monitors on either side.

I currently have the Omada SDN installed locally on a server.y internet went out this morning and I have been trying to log into the controller software but it fails and tells me to check my network connection. I have tried restarting the software, restarting the container, restarting my modem, restarting my router, but nothing is fixing the issue. I can get to the controller login page, I can reach my router, I can see my DNS, and all of my devices have IP addresses. Since I can't login to the controller software I can't even begin troubleshooting why the internet is down. Is there some other way to login to the controller software?

Hello everyone, first and foremost thank you for even taking your time to read this. I've been trying to learn how to draw on and off for years, but I never reached a point where I felt like I could draw what I wanted. I only ever practiced. I've become okay at still life images but I feel like a humanoid camera. I'd like to start drawing things I *want* to draw, and possibly even digitally because it gives so many more options. But I don't know where to start, and some of the advice I've seen seems conflicting.
Like, I want to be able to draw stuff like this. But for the life of me I can't figure out how to get there. I'm paralyzed by the options. Should I try drawabox for the third time? Learn constructive drawing (how?). Or go straight to try to paint digitally (again, how? Ctrlpaint?).
I'm just so lost. I need some sort of guide or roadmap. I can't keep drawing still lives. Anything I draw "on my own" feels like I'm walking around in a pitch black room. Only by sheer luck I might get something useful out of it, and I'm not even sure if I learned anything.
Your help would be very appreciated.

So yeah I have never been on a date nor I have ever talked to a girl or flirted with a girl or even chased a girl. I have tried online dating but haven't had any success. Just coming here to get this off my chest because complaining to my friends would be unseemly.
I've been running a four year long, meets every week, 5E campaign with the intention to end it at 20th level when the characters have the resources and allies to beat the BBG. The overarching plot is prisoneescape. We've been playing this for about four years, the characters are on the cusp of 19th level, and we are about 4 months from the finale.
In real life, BFF has been sick for about a year and just got sent home on hospice. She says she wants a big ending for her character. A phoenix transformation thing. She wants to tie some Egyptian god stuff in there. She says she wants it to hit hard.
I give her free reign to tell her own ending during the campaign last night. That was a mistake. She tells this dramatic ending for herself and, in the process, makes the rest of the campaign unplayable. As a final benevolent act, she frees everyone and sends them where they want to go. I didn't know what she was going to do, but I also didn't interrupt her narrative once I figured it out. As the song goes "No one says no to the boy with a terminal illness."
So now, my campaign is over. I have a big ending I will never see played out. I'm a lot sad and a little pissed. Can't complain about it because - dying girl.
The other players were shocked at the abrupt ending but after it was over they were like, okay, what are we playing next. It's nice they want to keep playing. I still want to play. But right now I'm pissed and disappointed and don't want to write anything new. I also don't feel like I can stop the gaming sessions right now because it's the only time some of them get to see dying bff and I think it's important we stay in the routine while she's still with us.
Don't want to write. Don't want to stop playing. Just want to sulk:-) Gah!

After the teams dug through the trash to show off the wasted food, it was time for the team's next challenge, where were challenged to cut the most steaks to exactly ten ounces. Due to the men having an extra member, Keith sat out. While Rachel and Sara got three, Heather, Virginia, and Maribel only got two, leaving the score 12 for the women. As for the men, Gabe scored three, Garrett scored one, Giacomo scored two, and Larry scored zero. Tom had the best individual performance, scoring five, but it wasn't enough to tie, but he was praised for his performance.
The women were rewarded with a helicopter trip and lunch at The Saddle Peak Lodge in the Santa Monica Mountains with Ramsay, while the men prepped the steaks for the next dinner service.
The night after the challenge, Larry had trouble breathing and was rushed to the hospital, and the following morning, he called the remaining chefs from the hospital and told them that he would not be returning due to health problems. While the others were bummed, Tom was unsympathetic, leading to Rachel to call him out on it.
During service, Keith and Sara were chosen as servers for service. Meanwhile, Rachel burned her hand while helping Heather out, and had to leave service, but delegated her station to her team before leaving, later earning Ramsay's praise; with the women's kitchen missing Rachel, Sara asked to join the kitchen and cook, which Ramsay agreed to. That however resulted in Sara absolutely tanking the garnish station, and not only that, Virginia put incorrect sauce on monkfish and shocked Ramsay when she said she would serve a tortellini that was split.
Meanwhile, the men had troubles serving appetizers, as Gabe allowed his teammates to work his station, while Tom and Giacomo struggled to work together on meat and garnish as Giacomo did not know what sides were required. Despite this, Garrett jumping onto the apps and showing leadership qualities helped them get food out, and they managed to get to entrees. However, several customers walked out, resulting in Ramsay closing the kitchens.
Ramsay named the women winners for their improvement, but once more named Rachel as the BoW for her leadership, and she was forced to choose two chefs for nomination.
At elimination, she put up Sara and Virginia, and after hearing their pleas, Ramsay eliminated Sara for tanking the garnish station and not taking the competition seriously.
Now with the blue team, losing, who goes here?

Alright so, my phone is flickering at the restart screen and I can't do anything anymore. To describe it properly, you know the screen you get when you restart or turn on/off your phone with the company logo and everything, yeah my phone screen is stuck there while flickering on and off again and again and I can't even do a hard reset now. Hello, I'm a healthcare worker passionate about my work and usually donate to some organization to improve health and research every couple months or so. I usually limit to those that I feel a personal connection with. I.e. Alzheimer's association because those are the residents I work with. American heart association because I have high blood pressure and heart disease in my family. What organization does one donate to for the autism spectrum? My husband has Asperger's (his words, I know the term isn't used in diagnosis anymore). I'd like to donate to somewhere that does safe comprehensive research on the neurodiversity and it all. Thanks!
