2023.06.08 17:26 lyridsreign [AETHER][MIDGARDSORMR][FC][LFM] JOIN AZURE INFINITUM! A Growing, Global, Inclusive, Active, Organized, and Friendly Community Awaits You! Welcoming Players Of All Experience, Availability, & Play-Style!
We are Azure Infinitum
Visit us at: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/)
You may have seen us in the Aether data center's party finder during our weekly events, or may have seen our recruitment shouts around the realm in-game in Midgardsormr, but there just isn't enough space in those places to really explain everything wonderful about what our Free Company and community is.
Azure Infinitum is an LGBTQ+ friendly community, and welcomes players of all experience level, play style, and availability. We're a warm home with a balance of online players, weekly optional activities, and flexible ranks from our membership, to our support & leadership categories. We have a 24/7 Support Team, a Councilship that governs each tier, seasonal events of our own, and many resources between the games we support and online services.
Who We Are
We are an established 9-year old community who's home is in Midgardsormr Server of Final Fantasy XIV. We are a structured, well-rounded, welcoming, friendly, and organized community that hosts daily events (check out our calendar: https://azureinfinitum.com/events/ ) that provide opportunity for members to excel. We work to provide an arena and opportunities to establish strong bonds and camaraderie between our members. As a community we are driven, we carry each other forward, and we are proud.
Our Name & Philosophy
Learn more about our global community here: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/aboutus/)
Learn more about our FFXIV Free Company here: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/ourffxivfc/)
Azure Infinitum means "Azure/Blue Infinity or Infinite Blue/Azure" and there is some mythos behind the name that stems from our guild-wide philosophy of kindness, freedom, vigilance, diversity and activity. We promote positive fellowship among members in an organized guild, with our sights open to our unending endless skies, full of possibility and success together.
Our motto is "As Free As The Azure Sky!" which stuck well when our FC was restructured from an old guild in 2014 as Azure was founded, and it was first shouted as we looked out at a clear blue sky above. has continued to be our electric victory as we continue to snowball in success and activity, our members soaring high through the Azure Sky, flying together!
Ranks
Click here to learn more about our community ranks: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/ranks/)
Our community has an organized ranking structure beginning with Members who comprise the majority of the roster. Scouts are our support team of Members who've stepped up to more officially support the FC, some work on obtaining a future leadership rank. Lieutenants and Officers comprise the proud Azure Council, a diverse group of players of different specialties and services to the FC, making up lower and higher tier leadership, seeing over the Scouts and the FC weekly events, aside from being admins. The FC Infinitum Master oversees all and leads the Azure Council and the company forward while always keeping the heart and vision of the community alive and in sight. Currently we are re-assessing ranks in the free company, giving more support permissions and duties to our Scouts, while the current council operates as a small team of Lieutenants lead by the FC Master.
Everyone Welcome and Who Fits Best
We have an open door policy. Whether you're casual, a returning player, a veteran, or a newbie, we have a vast array of players in our member roster. Our weekly schedule is organized and provides an array of activity for players of most levels, however we like to ask players who're pretty new or under the level cap, to be extra vocal about their needs while they're still unable to attend some daily events or higher level content that most of our weekly lineup focuses on. We want everyone to have as much fun as possible and have the most success. We find that most players enjoy Azure Infinitum, many have stated that they subscribed to FFXIV much longer than they ever would have imagined after they have been around in our community, as they've gotten involved and experienced all that we offer.
Our FC keeps a daily schedule (see here: https://www.azureinfinitum.com/events/) of events that are hosted by permitted Scouts and Council ranks, these range from 8-man and 24-man raids and map parties, to WT journal groups and trial clear parties or farms, and more- and attending anything isn't mandatory at all here. We're happy to have you, and its up to our members how much they'd like to get involved. Attendance is optional! There's never any stress to attend FC functions.
Savage Raiding Statement
We find that some hardcore raiders looking for free companies just to join their statics who don't already have one, might not fit well if savage raiding is their only or greatest focus, because traditionally Azure does not have a Savage Static, but focuses more on allowing members to organize their own groups and also provides resources to do so. Despite not supporting an official static for the FC, we hope that hardcore raiders enjoy the wealth of our community's wealth of harmony and overall fun, and that everyone may take initiative to seek out or build a raiding static within our community if they are interested, as opposed to missing out on experiencing Azure. Depending on the content season, we may have an Unofficial static lead by a leader, and routinely offer limited time Savage-learning events that may run for a number of months.
Rules and No Drama Policy
Please take a moment to look over our Rules Page at (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/rules/), we find that rude individuals and people who create drama are the outsiders here that don't fit well. We know its a big page, so at least visit the General Rules section before joining.
Recruitment Care & Activity
People of Azure Infinitum are often if not always good natured players who found their way to our community looking for a place with structure, friendliness, organization, and great activity, or they've been scouted during recruitment drives and have been well screened. Its a place where one can be social and attend everything, or relax in the background and enjoy the services and facilities of being in an active, organized, and friendly FC. We actively recruit periodically to assist with upkeep of community activity levels, and to meet new comrades. A community that closes recruitment can be doomed to stagnation. Its normal for a community to have an inner core of die hards who log in daily regardless of content releases, and also have an outer core of individuals that range from those with less availability to those who check in during Patches. This is why we take extra care in keeping the fresh blood flowing into Azure, cautious recruitment, and support our active model by always staying welcoming and sometimes running recruitment campaigns and other services. Like this ad!
Handling Online Drama
Because we keep a no-drama policy and have a strong communication network, it is leadership's ultimate priority to handle any issues that may come up as soon as possible, and most people appreciate our problem solving which has inspired many other communities. Between our Support & Leadership ranks, we use a number of report and resource channels to handle situations, and perform problem solving protocols & tactics to fairly address issues as possible. Drama is inevitable at some point for any online community, so its important to have a large and strong list of moderators (currently around 60!) and a council of leaders (15+) to quickly handle any problems. Luckily, we don't have a lot of drama, but we're always very well equipped and very prepared. Our community has been commended by game staff in the past for our methods, and we have worked with the FFXIV Special Task Force to ensure as much safety to our community as achievable. It should be stressed that it is up to our membership to report to GM's in-game, and to Azure Leadership should any issues or concerns come up. Its also highly recommended that our members appropriately document evidence that can be used to help us assess situations and make proper decisions. Documenation such as screenshots of harassment is a great example! Our members online safety is greatly important to us and is a number one concern of our leadership team. Our Rules Page at: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/rules/) describes a bit more in Chapter 3, including other entries on avoiding/ignoring trolls, playing while intoxicated, depression, and more.
Our Philosophy
We believe in our community and its people, how far we can go, how much we can do for each other, being an experienced community who's core values are positive fellowship, formation of bonds, and indomitable unity.
Azure Infinitum tightly grasps success and masters a casual and lucrative weekly play schedule while inspiring motivation and providing avenues for further success, friendships, and camaraderie among all who freely fly together among our Azure skies.
Founding on the principles of intricately forging a generally drama-free experience with keen leadership and a zealous and mighty membership, Azure has striven to guide and support many hundreds of players through every era of Final Fantasy XIV.
With an illustrious history, company lore, impressive statistics, and a model that is adaptable and blessed with innovative ability, Azure Infinitum claims a dominant presence of excellence and player growth that is possible in our community and extended services.
Estate Organization
We have the entire set-up at our estate, from gardens for members and Krakka Root production (free for members' chocobos), to our stables, nicely uniform clean lawn with hangout spots that are popular, with crafting stations, all available NPCs for simple mats and repairs, cut-scene viewer, toybox, triple-triad board, a fully operational and geared fleet of airships and subs, and our Azure Infinitum Assembly Chamber on the top floor for our meetings where announcements are made at our Grand Assemblies. Check it out if you like at Mist Ward 7 Plot 1.
We also have an organized form of gathering for weekly events in the yard, places to relax, food that is always available on tables at our Cellar, and hold a lot of special events and social games at our Hall. We're also conveniently located next to a Market Board and a Retainer Bell outside of our estate.
Communication and Extended Azure Services
We have multiple services of which none are mandatory, but we provide being (azureinfinitum.com) where our Forums, Event Calendar, News, Company Meeting Summaries, Seasonal Merch Giveaways, Contests, Rules Page, and more take place and can be found. We also have a popular and active Discord Server.
We also have a Facebook Group, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Steam Group, (Look us up! Or visit: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/socialmedia/) and Linkshells like our Infinitum Alliance LS for contact and aid from our allies if needed, our Azure Hunters LS for Hunters, and our Azure Industry LS which connects our members to our inner crafting/gathering community for newbies to pros.
Also worthy of mention is our big Company Meetings in-game, known as Azure Infinitum Grand Assemblies. Even though we have several avenues that keep people connected, our live assemblies gather the FC in unity where announcements are made first, and all proposals, ideas, and more, can be decided together live with the Azure Council present.
This network ensures a lot of information and communication gets around and has been exceedingly useful to us.
More On Events
One part of our reputation that often precedes us is our event crafting and hosting.
First, let me make sure its clear that attendance is never mandatory, but those who can make use, when possible, of what we provide each day, benefit from our events each week.
Since our beginning, traditions like our Thursday Treasure Thursdays events have run each week. Our weekly line-up presently begins on Tuesdays post-weekly reset, and consists of Raid Tuesdays, Wondrous Wednesdays (WT Journal Parties, often doubles as Trial Clears and Pony Drops), Treasure Thursdays (Endwalker's timeworn maps with groups of 8 doing up to 3 rounds of maps allowing for up to 24 maps ran), 24-Man Tuesdays (full pre-formed Azure 24-member alliances are made and raids are cleared, will be returning upon the release of EW's 24-man), Super Azure Slayer Sunday (our weekly meetup to do all sorts of PVP content be it Rival Wings or Frontline), and Monstrous Mondays (helps clear the current and previous patch extreme trials).
Special, Seasonal, and Quarterly Events
More info here: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/azureday/)See the latest event news & more at: (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/news/)
We also have what we call Special and Quarterly Events. These types of events are Weekend-Long-Events that usually consist of a theme or celebratory social events we craft. During these events we hold big Riddle Races, Costume/Glamour shows and contests, 3-Story Mansion Maze Races, Speedrun Dungeon Races, Hide and Seek games, Custom Quest Events, Discord events like Cards Against Humanity nights, Comedy events, PVP Tournament Circuits, and more.
Our Special and Quarterly events are Azure Day Weekend (Takes place 3 times a year across a weekend, celebrates the FC), Azure Summer Festival (3-days at the end of August in partnership with Child's Play, raises money for children in long-term care, anniversary of historic FC event called the Lunar Rebellion), Anniversary Azure Day (a big weekend event in November that celebrates our Founding), Azure Day Saint's Wake (celebrates Halloween/All Saint's Wake), Azure Starlight Day (celebrating Starlight Day/Christmas/December Holiday Season), Azure Grand Melee and Duel Tournaments (PVP Circuit series crowning our PVP Champions) and more.
Azure Day Weekends
If you've been around our server you may have heard of our Azure Day Weekends. Our Azure Days take place quarterly as mentioned just above, with four evolved editions called Azure Summer Festival, Azure Day Saint's Wake, Azure Starlight Day, and Anniversary Azure Day. With Azure Day Weekends and related events traditionally occuring quarterly our members are always excited to see the next big weekend of crazy and fun social games, and our showering of the free company in gil and prizes galore. We go all out when we celebrate the free company, and Azure Days are another way we find for leadership to give back to the community. 2023 and beyond is now host to additional seasonal Azure Day events!
We're always giving our members a chance to have fun, win big, and make some great memories in the in-game family we've become. Something fun is always on the horizon in Azure.
Community
I almost can't stress enough how friendly our community is. We have a vast variety of members from hardcore gatherers and crafters, social butterflies, chill veterans, experienced raiders, level grinders, support teams, PVP aficionados, mechanic specialists, and mentors. We're also very friendly to all casual players as well and we keep an open door so long as recruits are always aware that we have a no-drama tolerance here.
Evolution into a Gaming Clan & Network
Plans are in the works and foundations are being laid that is slowly turning our community into a larger gaming network, with our first established Azure Wing with regular occurring activity being founded in Monster Hunter World, this has led to a successful Destiny 2 clan and more. Becoming a member of our Discord and/or Free Company now means access to things like our huge discord, Azure Wing membership in other games, and being able to join in on any of our other activities in the general community. Azure Network as its being called at the moment, is growing with an all-new website and community features for playing together across Final Fantasy XIV and to Azure Skies beyond!
Activity
We rank high as one of the top FC's in Worldwide Activity on lodestone, and have for a long time. Most of our players are divided between the US East and West Coasts, members in East and West Canada, and a few outside the US or in EU or Aus zones. Because we do have an activity policy (mentioned below) we keep a standard flow of people, and have crowds in the early morning, late morning, early afternoon, afternoon, evening, and late night crowds.
Elitism isn't our style. Our community boasts a broad range of characters, great personalities, the proud, and also some silly goofs. But elitism isn't welcome, no matter how successful we are or how large we grow. We're always welcoming towards fresh faces interested in joining our guild, and the in-game activity ranges between 30-60+ online at once during prime time hours, sometimes around 70+ on patch days, and usually always with half the roster logging in throughout a 24 hour period, and around 15-30+ during the night.
Activity Policy
We ask that our members do not go missing without logging in for more than 60 days straight. If we hear word from someone or have some kind of decent excuse, we place our members on our On Vacation rank, which lasts presently until 90 days have passed. Exceptions are made for military deployments, hospital stays, financial issues, disability/health related issues, moving, or other reasons that might fall on a case-by-case basis.
All members not heard from in 60 days (roughly 2 months) or currently 90 days (roughly 3 months) are discharged. We allow 3 joins to Azure Infinitum in total, but exceptions can be made due to reasons listed above. If removed for inactivity, or you've left our FC for another reason and haven't already joined 3 times, you're always welcome back, but please remember, we are not a revolving door.
Keeping our roster full of members who have been online and presently play the game actively ensures an active environment for our players who play often. It also keeps our credits and clerical processes balanced across our network, and allows space for new faces to join our big happy in-game family of comrades.

2023.06.08 16:58 Temsei June 8th updates - Toolbelt item & upgrades, new task, offline potions & more
Alongside these updates, getting the game on iOS has been a big priority in the past few weeks. Idle Clans has been approved on App Store but still requires some final touches to make it ready for release. I expect to release it early next week if no unexpected issues pop up.
A slight foreword on the update coming after this one - I'm going to start working on some new content for both individuals and clans alike! With that new content should come a bunch of new items that aim to bring the combat triangle to a more balanced state as many of you have repeatedly suggested. As updates like this are a large undertaking, it's likely this update will take longer than the usual 2 weeks - unless there are some other noticeable changes happening on the side. I'll be posting progress updates in #game-workshop on our Discord channel.
Updates - A new item has been added: Toolbelt. It's an equippable item that goes into the new Belt equipment slot. It's currently obtainable from rare and exceptional treasure chests (8% and 4% drop chances respectively), but will likely be moved to future content as something more fitting comes along. The Toolbelt on its own does not offer anything beyond some minimal defensive stats - you'll need to purchase the new Toolbelt upgrade for the item to utilize your tools. Once upgraded and equipped, the toolbelt will provide the benefit of the highest level tool in your inventory for a given task without needing to equip the tool. Here is how the upgrades are structured:
- Tier 1: unlocks Woodcutting and Fishing tools, costs 500K gold
- Tier 2: unlocks Mining and Smithing tools, costs 1M gold
- Tier 3: unlocks Cooking and Crafting tools, costs 2M gold
- Tier 4: unlocks Agility and Plundering tools, costs 3M gold
- Tier 5: unlocks Foraging and Farming tools, costs 4M gold
- Tier 6: unlocks Brewing and Carpentry tools, costs 5M gold
- Each tier requires level 70 in the related skills. Unlocked tool types will show in the Toolbelt item's description once one or more upgrades have been purchased.
- A logging system has been added for clans. Every meaningful action is recorded and available for leaders of a clan to view from the Management section of your clan's page. To start off, the last 25 actions of individual clan members and 100 of the last combined actions of all clan members are stored. These numbers may be raised in the future if need arises.
- A new task has been added to Fishing and Cooking: Tuna! It has a Fishing level requirement of 90 and Cooking level requirement of 85. When cooked, it'll heal 17 health upon consumption.
- Combat group leaders now have the ability to set a boss run to end after the next boss death
Changes - Potions now work whilst offline. Their timers will only be decreased while offline if you're doing a task that utilizes the potion (all combat potion timers will all decrease in offline combat, regardless of used attack style)
- The smelting tab has been removed and smelting options can now be found in the Smithing page
- A warning popup is now displayed when buying a premium token from the player market, stating that it be untradable on purchase and cost gold to return it to a tradeable state
- Potion of trickery is now applied to extra gathered materials as well (double loot from upgrades etc.)
- Player shop item prices are no longer rounded to KMB
Fixes - Fixed an issue where all group members wouldn't always show up in the Group info popup
- Client side combat calcs reworked. Should now provide much more accurate results than before.
- Fixed a bug in how NPC strength is calculated (thanks again Kloppie5 for locating it). Should be a mostly unnoticeable change - some monsters may be slightly weaker and some slightly stronger, but you likely won't even notice.
- Fixed offline combat giving experience for overkill damage
- Fixed the non-boosted experience p/h showing inaccurate results in the Task stats popup when you had ad boost active
- Fixed some issues in inventory item and vault item input fields
- Fixed Royal clan plunder achievement being triggered from Food factory due to the ids changing last update
- Fixed a small bug where when trying to join a team that had already went to combat, you'd incorrectly get a "Invitation sent" popup
- Fixed an issue where the "Ready" button would not reappear in a combat lobby after all other members left the group
- Fixed an issue where your offline combat would be triggered when logging out in a combat lobby before actually entering the fight
- Pressing the shield icon in combat tasks caused crashes on mobile. Instead of fixing the issue, the icon was removed all together as it has no utility. Initial thoughts behind combat grouping were that only some tasks would be groupable and the icon was meant to highlight those tasks but as all tasks are groupable and will remain so, the icon is now gone.
- Fixed attempting to purchase an insanely large amount of items from local market causing the game to crash
- Fixed Carpentry tasks not consistently going through when you had no gold but had the Plank bargain upgrade fully unlocked
- Fixed plundering skill advantage icons turning invisible at some resolutions
- Fixed task progress slider appearing to progress after completing tutorial tasks (visual bug)
- Fixed Power forager upgrade not working offline
- Fixed an edge case issue where sending items and purchasing items from a player who was in the process of disconnecting could cause the transaction to fail, sometimes even resulting in an item loss
- Fixed group combat not turning into solo combat when you're the last remaining member of a group, allowing you to get experience benefits meant for groups in solo combat
- Bronze platelegs had the stats of iron platelegs and vise versa. Fixed.
- The inventory item interaction popup is now automatically closed if you run out of that item whilst having the popup open
- Similar to the previous point, fixed an issue where if you actively dragged an item in your inventory, ran out of that item and then tried to move it to another inventory slot, you would get some fun visual bugs
- Shop entry requirements purchasability indicators are now updated when inventory updates and when you level up, without needing to first leave and re-enter the local market
- Fixed an error in offline smelting calculations with the smelting magic upgrade unlocked
- Fulfilled requirements in shop item entries now use the same bright green colour that's used elsewhere

2023.06.08 16:41 mariusthepunkfather REMAKE: Providing some characters’ ideal real names in My Hero Academia whose real names are currently unknown and are only referred by their aliases.
NOTE: This is a remake of the list I made way back in 2022, and it can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/BokuNoHeroAcademia/comments/vx4z7h/providing_some_characters_ideal_real_names_in_my/ Keep in mind that some entries on the list have their names changed over time because of, well, reasons. Check the old list for comparison.
Providing some characters’ ideal real names in My Hero Academia whose real names are currently unknown and are only referred by their aliases.
Have you ever wondered what the real names of some characters in My Hero Academia may be? There are some who are only refered by their aliases and not their real names. For example, we know that Cementoss’ real name is Ken Ishiyama (石山堅), but Ectoplasm’s real name is unknown. So I thought I would compile a list of characters, whether heroes, villains, or neutral, whose real names are not revealed in any form of media, whether they are anime, manga, game, or light novels. Keep in mind that I made up all of the ideal real names by myself (with my limited knowledge of the Japanese language). We’ll wait if Kohei Horikoshi decided on some of the names to be designated as official real names, so there could be a possibility that if a real name is already revealed and is different from mine.
Crimson Riot: Masayoshi Shinkuyama (真紅山正義, しんくやま まさよし)
Shin (真) means true, Ku (紅) means crimson or deep red, Yama (山) means mountain, Masa (正) means correct or justice, and Yoshi (義) means righteousness. The surname Shinkuyama means deep crimson mountain, which explains his hero name. The given name Masayoshi means justice, since Masayoshi is an alternate reading of Seigi, which also means justice. His sense of justice, and to an extent, chivalry, is what motivated the life of Eijiro Kirishima on his path of training to be a pro hero.
Lunch Rush: Godan Ransei (蘭生五旦, らんせい ごだん)
Ran (蘭) means orchid, Sei (生) means raw or genuine, Go (五) means 5, and Dan (旦) means daybreak. His name is a play on British chef celebrity Gordon Ramsay, only if you mention the name in western order, since Japanese names use the surname-first, given-name order, making his name Ransei Godan instead. The Go in Godan likely refers to the 5 tastes – sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami, while Dan refers to breakfast, which is ironic considering that his hero name is Lunch Rush. The Sei in Ransei also likely refers to his signature insult.
Snipe: Hokori Toki (東木埃, とうき ほこり)
To or Higashi or Azuma (東) means east, Ki (木) means tree or wood, and Hokori (埃) means dust. The surname Toki roughly means “east wood”, a reference to American actor Clint Eastwood, who is known for starring in old west and spaghetti western films. The surname is also homophonous with time in Japanese, Toki (時), probably as in the phrase “the good old times” or “the good old days”. The given name might be a reference to the “Dust Bowl”, the name given to the drought-stricken Southern Plains region of the United States in the 1930’s, or the Kansas song Dust in the Wind.
Ectoplasm: Kazuhiro Masumi (増見数博, ますみ かずひろ)
Masu (増) means multiply or increase, Mi (見) means to see, Kazu (数) means number, and Hiro (博) means command or esteem or win acclaim. The surname Masumi alludes to his quirk, noting that he can multiply or clone his own self, while seeing multiple directions at once through his clones. The given name Kazuhiro is a reference to his profession, a math teacher in UA.
Backdraft: Kansho Kadome (火止看消, かどめ かんしょう)
Ka or Hi (火) means fire, Dome or Tome (止) means to stop or halt, Kan (看) means to watch or observe, and Sho (消) means to erase or extinguish, the same kanji character in Shota Aizawa’s name (相澤消太). In other words, Kadome means stopping fire, while Kansho means observe while extinguishing.
Uwabami: Mamiko Hebita (蛇田真美子, へびた まみこ)
Hebi (蛇) means snake, Ta or Da (田) means rice field, Ma or Shin (真) means true, Mi or Bi (美) means beauty, and Ko (子) means child. Hebi in Hebita refers to her appearance and quirk, alluding to the Greek mythological figure Medusa. Her given name means true beautiful child.
Gunhead: Kenshiro Tsutsuto (銃頭拳志郎, つつとう けんしろう)
Tsutsu (銃) means gun, To or Atama (頭) means head, Ken (拳) means fist, Shi (志) means will or intention, and Ro (郎) means male. The surname Tsutsuto literally means Gunhead, his hero name. Tsutsu in Tsutsuto is the same reading in Lady Nagant’s real name, Kaina Tsutsumi (筒美火伊那). Although written in a different kanji (筒), which means gun barrel, a reference to her quirk, it has the same connotation as the other one. The given name Kenshiro may be alluded to the main protagonist of Fist of the North Star of the same name, although written in katakana, noting that he is a pro hero whose agency specializes in armed combat and martial arts. Also the Ken in Kenshiro is the same kanji character in Itsuka Kendo’s name (拳藤一佳).
The Fly: Kisuke Koba (小羽黄助, こば きすけ)
Ko (小) means small, Ba or Bane or Hane (羽) means wing or feather, Ki or Ko (黄) means yellow, and Suke (助) means help or assistance. The surname Koba literally means small wings, referring to his appearance and quirk. The Ki in Kisuke means yellow, referring to his blonde hair.
Slugger: Sango Sakagami (阪神三吾, さかがみ さんご)
Saka or Han (阪) means heights or slope, Kami or Gami or Shin (神) means god, San (三) means 3, and Go (吾) means I or my. The surname Sakagami is an alternate reading of Hanshin (阪神), a reference to a popular Japanese pro baseball team, the Hanshin Tigers (阪神タイガース). In the west, the baseball team is primarily (and infamously) remembered for being associated with the curse called “The Curse of the Colonel”, a 1985 Japanese urban legend regarding a reputed curse placed on the baseball team by the ghost of the deceased Kentucky Fried Chicken founder and mascot Colonel Harland Sanders, who passed away 5 years prior at the age of 90. The given name Sango is a play on ’35, the year the Hanshin Tigers were founded, 1935; although the next year, they would be officially formed and have their first season as the “Osaka Tigers”. In 1940, amid anti-foreign sentiment, the Tigers changed the name to "Hanshin" and in 1947 changed the name back to "Osaka Tigers". The current team name was assumed in 1961.
Native: Teppei Nishiriku (西陸哲平, にしりく てっぺい)
Nishi (西) means west, Riku (陸) means land, Tetsu (哲) means philosophy, and Pei or Hei or Hira (平) means flat. The surname Nishiriku means western land, most likely referring to America. The given name Teppei is a play on the word tepee or tipi, a conical tent made by Native Americans.
Selkie: Yasuhiro Hirezaki (鰭崎安洋, ひれざき やすひろ)
Hire (鰭) means fin or flipper (body part), Saki (崎) means cape or peninsula, Yasu (安) means peaceful, and Hiro (洋) means ocean. The Hire in Hirezaki means fin or flipper, referring to his seal physique. It may also be a reference to the Japanese word Kikyakurui (鰭脚類), meaning pinniped. They are a widely distributed and diverse monophyletic group of carnivorous, fin-footed, semi aquatic, mostly marine mammals. They are also commonly referred as seals. In fact, the name "pinniped" derives from the Latin words pinna, meaning fin and pes or pedis, meaning foot, thus giving the literal meaning of fin footed.
Sirius: Miya Otomaru (音丸美弥, おとまる みや)
Oto (音) means sound, Maru (丸) means round, Mi or Bi (美) means beauty, and Ya (弥) means all the more or increasingly. The surname Otomaru means sound around, a reference to her quirk, which allows the user to hear high frequencies around her that humans normally cannot. She uses it to communicate with Selkie when they are far apart. She can also use it to detect the number of people nearby. The given name Miya can be also read as Mimi (耳), which means ear in Japanese, also a reference to her quirk and appearance.
Mr. Brave: Yuichi Kamige (上毛勇一, かみげ ゆういち)
Kami or Ue (上) means up or above or raise, Ge or Mo (毛) means hair, and Isamu (勇) means brave. The surname Kamige literally means raising hair, a reference to his quirk. The given name Yuichi means brave one, a reference to his hero name.
Death Arms: Atsuto Aratake (荒武篤人, あらたけ あつと)
Ara (荒) means rough or wild, Take (武) means military, Atsu (篤) means fervent or serious, and To or Hito (人) means person. The Ara in Aratake and Atsu in Atsuto refer to his serious and rough behavior.
Crust: Mutsuo Tatezaki (盾崎六雄, たてざき むつお)
Tate (盾) means shield (type of personal armor), Zaki or Saki (崎) means cape or edge, Mutsu or Roku (六) means 6, and O (雄) means masculine or male. The Tate in Tatezaki refers to his quirk, shield, which allows him to manifest stone-like, hexagonal shields from their body that could be utilized both defensively and offensively. His given name Mutsuo is a reference to his hexagonal shields.
Yoroi Musha: Takeyoshi Furumoto (古本武義, ふるもと たけよし)
Furu (古) means old or ancient, Moto or Hon (本) means origin or book, Take (武) means military, and Yoshi (義) means righteousness. All of the kanji characters are associated with him. The surname Furumoto can be also read as Furuhon, which means ancient book, possibly referring to old records, text, or illustrations regarding Japanese history and society. The Take in Takeyoshi refers to his hero costume, resembling a samurai, while Yoshi refers to his personality, which is ironic after what happened during the war.
Kesagiri Man: Kenjuro Kuroi (黒井剣寿郎, くろい けんじゅろう)
Kuro (黒) means black, I (井) means water well, Ken (剣) means sword, Ju (寿) means longevity, and Ro (郎) means male. The Kuro in Kuroi refers to the color of his hero outfit, while the Ken in Kenjuro refers to the literal meaning of his hero name - slashing someone with a sword diagonally from the shoulder, Kesagiri (袈裟切り).
Water Hose father: Namihiro Izumi (出水波弘, いずみ なみひろ)
Water Hose mother: Kishiko Izumi (出水岸子, いずみ きしこ)
Knowing that the Water Hose Duo is Kota Izumi’s (出水洸汰) parents, we can obviously assume that they are also named Izumi. Izu (出) means outside, and Mi or Mizu (水) means water. Combined together means flood, Izumi (出水). The surname is also homophonous with fountain in Japanese, Izumi (泉).
For the father: Nami (波) means wave or billow, and Hiro (弘) means vast or wide.
For the mother: Kishi (岸) means beach or shore, and Ko (子) means child.
Nezu: Hideyuki Nezu (根津秀幸, ねず ひでゆき)
Assuming that Nezu is his surname, I would give him his given name only. Ne (根) means root, Zu or Tsu (津) means harbor, Hide (秀) means excellence, and Yuki (幸) means happiness or fortune. His surname is meant to be a play on rat in Japanese, Nezumi (鼠), and his given name is a common Japanese male name, which fits his personality.
Kido: Ryota Kido (貴堂良太, きどう りょうた)
Ki (貴) means noble, Do (堂) means temple or hall, Ryo (良) means good, and Ta (太) means plump or thick. His surname is homophonous to that of his hero name (キドウ) and his respective quirk traject in Japanese, Kido (軌道).
Onima: Junji Onima (鬼馬淳次, おにま じゅんじ)
Oni or Ki (鬼) means demon, Ma (馬) means horse, Jun (淳) means pure, and Ji (次) means next. His surname is homophonous to that of his hero name (オニマー).
X-Less: Mitsuyuki Hoshimoto (星本光行, ほしもと みつゆき)
Hoshi (星) means star, Moto or Hon (本) means origin or book, Mitsu (光) means light, and Yuki (行) means line. His name is a reference to his quirk laser, where he fires energy beams from his right eye.
Shishido: Daisho Shishido (獅子戸大昌, ししど だいしょう)
Shishi (獅子) means lion, Do (戸) means door, Dai or O (大) means big, and Sho (昌) means prosperous or clear. His surname is homophonous to that of his hero name (シシド) and the fact that the first two syllables of his surname fits with him being called the lion hero. Shishido is also an actual surname, but written as宍戸 instead, with the initial kanji character meaning muscles or meat.
Airjet: Hayato Kamizora (上空早人, かみぞら はやと)
Kami or Ue (上) means up or above or raise, Zora or Sora (空) means sky, Haya (早) means early or fast, and To or Hito (人) means person. His surname is a reference to the fact that he can shoot blasts of air above the ground as high as he wants.
Fourth Kind: Shugo Shinomiya (四宮修悟, しのみや しゅうご)
Shi (四) means 4, Miya (宮) means temple or palace, Shu or Osamu (修) means discipline, and Go or Satoru (悟) means enlightenment. The Shi in Shinomiya refers to the fact that he has 4 arms in his appearance. Not a Kaguya reference.
Takeshita: Yoshiyuki Takeshita (竹下吉幸, たけした よしゆき)
This character in the manga and anime is named that way, which is an actual surname, which means I would give him his given name only. Take (竹) means bamboo, Shita (下) means below or under, Yoshi (吉) means good luck or joy, and Yuki (幸) means happiness or fortune. The Take in Takeshita is likely a reference to his unnamed bamboo quirk.
Eel Boy: Teruki Unagi (宇凪輝樹, うなぎ てるき)
U (宇) means roof, Nagi (凪) means calm, Teru (輝) means shine or illuminate, and Ki (樹) means tree. His surname is homophonous with eel in Japanese, Unagi (鰻), referring to his unnamed eel quirk. Interestingly, in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, there is a character with a similar sounding name, Teruo Unagisawa (鰻沢照生), unrelated to the character above. I made that name up without realization, so I must say it’s almost a coincidence.
Briareos: Gosaku Tezawa (手澤郷作, てざわ ごうさく)
Gyges: Gosuke Tezawa (手澤郷輔, てざわ ごうすけ)
Knowing that the two guards present during the Assault on Tartarus are brothers, we can assume that they share the same surname. Te (手) means hand or arm, and Zawa or Sawa (澤) means swamp, referring to their appearance.
For Briareos: Go (郷) means village or hometown, and Saku (作) means make or prepare.
For Gyges: Go (郷) means village or hometown, and Suke (輔) means help or assistance.
Public Safety Commission President: Yasuko Hoki (保喜安子, ほき やすこ)
Ho (保) means protection or guarantee, Ki (喜) means delight or rejoice, Yasu (安) means peaceful, and Ko (子) means child. Combining both the initial kanji characters of both her surname and given name would mean security in Japanese, Hoan (保安), referring to her position in the Hero Public Safety Commission.
2nd user: Hayao Nikaido (二階堂速雄, にかいどう はやお)
Ni (二) means 2, Kai (階) means story, stair or floor, Do (堂) means temple or hall, Haya (速) means quick or fast, and O (雄) means male. For the given name Hayao, the Haya in Hayao is the same one in his quirk "Gearshift" in Japanese, Hensoku (変速). The surname Nikaido has the kanji character for 2, Ni (二), referencing the fact that he is the 2nd user of OFA. Something I would like to share - the first time I encountered the surname Nikaido came from a staff member whose name was credited with that surname in most of Mob Psycho 100's episodes in the end credits. As soon as I saw the name 二階堂 in the end credits, that gave me an idea to use that surname as a what-if name for the 2nd user, so that's how I arrived with that surname. I never intended to name him after an anime staff member whatsoever.
3rd user: Sanjiro Undo (運道三治郎, うんどう さんじろう)
Un (運) means luck or fortune, Do (道) means road or path, San (三) means 3, Ji (治) means reign or cure, and Ro (郎) means male. The surname is read as "oondo" and not in the English word as it appears to be in romanized form. Also, the aforementioned surname is homophonous with movement in Japanese, Undo (運動), as his quirk Fa Jin is used for to build up kinetic energy by repeating regular motions and store it for later use. Kinetic energy in Japanese is Undo Enerugii (運動エネルギー). The given name Sanjiro has the kanji character for 3, San (三), referencing the fact that he is the 3rd user of OFA.
6th user: Enzo Rokuhara (六原煙造, ろくはら えんぞう)
Roku (六) means 6, Hara (原) means field, En or Kemuri (煙) means smoke, and Zo (造) means create or make. The surname Rokuhara has the kanji character for 6, Roku (六), referencing the fact that he is the 6th user of OFA. The given name Enzo is a reference to his quirk Smokescreen, which would give the character's nickname as En. The surname is also the name of a Japanese railway station in Kanegasaki, Iwate. Interestingly enough, two other characters in the series, whom both of them are villains, are also named after real world Japanese railway stations. The villains in question are Twice and Re-Destro. Twice's real surname is Bubaigawara (分倍河原), named after a railway station operated jointly by the East Japan Railway Company and the private railway operator Keio Corporation located in Fuchu, Tokyo of the same name, while Re-Destro's real surname is Yotsubashi (四ツ橋), named after a railway station in Nishi-ku, Osaka of the same name.
Wolfram: Shigeki Kinzoku (金続重樹, きんぞく しげき)
Kin (金) means metal, Zoku (続) means to continue, Shige (重) means heavy, and Ki (樹) means tree or wood. The surname Kinzoku is homophonous to Kinzoku (金属), in which the latter kanji character, Zoku (属), means genus. However, the Zoku in Kinzoku (金続) means to continue, referring to how he manipulates and creates metal continuously in combat. The Shige in Shigeki refers to how generally heavy metal is. Not to mention that his villain name is named after tungsten, whose symbol W means wolfram, and it is one of the heaviest naturally stable elements you can carry or hold (but factually speaking, uranium IS the heaviest element in terms of natural stability).
Nine: Kisho Terunaga (照永起昇), てるなが きしょう)
Teru (照) means shine or illuminate, Naga or Ei (永) means eternity, Ki (起) means rouse or get up, and Sho (昇) means rise up. The Teru in Terunaga likely refers to his intimidating appearance, akin to a god, while Naga likely refers to the fact that he would be invincible like any other villain if he has a great amount of quirks, considering that he is one of the few characters to do so. The given name Kisho is homophonous with weather, Kisho (気象), a reference to his original quirk before amalgamating to All for One, weather manipulation, or Kisho Sosa in Japanese (気象操作).
All for One: Majin Shigaraki (死柄木摩甚, しがらき まじん)
According to All for One himself in a flashback, Shigaraki is his real surname; however, his given name is unknown. Shi (死) means death, Gara (柄) means grip or handle, Ki (木) means tree or wood, Ma (摩) means to scrape or grind, and Jin (甚) means extreme or intense. The given name Majin is homophonous with devil in Japanese, Majin (魔神).
Mustard: Shoki Kitai (北井祥基, きたい しょうき)
Kita (北) means north, I (井) means water well, Sho (祥) means auspicious or good omen, and Ki (基) means fundamentals or basis. The surname Kitai is homophonous with gas in Japanese, Kitai (気体), a reference to his quirk. The given name Shoki is homophonous with miasma in Japanese, Shoki (瘴気), a highly unpleasant or unhealthy smell or vapor, fitting with the properties of his quirk.
Innsmouth: Yakishi Takonuma (蛸沼焼司, たこぬま やきし)
Tako (蛸) means octopus, Numa (沼) means marsh, Yaki (焼) means burnt, and Shi (司) means administer or boss. The Tako in Takonuma is a reference to his appearance, resembling an octopus.
Moonfish: Takanari Habashi (歯橋高成, はばし たかなり)
Ha (歯) means tooth, Hashi (橋) means bridge, Taki (高) means tall or high, Nari (成) means grow or reach. The surname Habashi is a reference to his quirk blade-tooth in Japanese, Shijin (歯刃).
Ending: Shingoki Kurodo (黒道伸剛輝, くろどう しんごうき)
Kuro (黒) means black, Do or Michi (道) means road or path, Shin (伸) means to expand or stretch, Go (剛) means sturdy or strength, and Ki or Teru (輝) means shine, or gleam. The surname Kurodo means black road, referring to how he activates his quirk through a road or highway. The given name Shingoki is homophonous with traffic lights in Japanese, Shingoki (信号機).
Starservant: Noriharu Hoshimiya (星宮典治, ほしみや のりはる)
Hoshi (星) means star, Miya (宮) means temple or palace, Nori or Ten (典) means law or rule, and Haru or Chi or Ji (治) means reign or subdue. The surname Hoshimiya means star temple or star palace, referring to his villain name. The given name Noriharu can be alternatively read as Tenchi (天地), which means above and below, top and bottom, or more symbolically, heaven and earth. The third meaning could possibly be referring to the phrase “Heaven and Earth are about to collide”, one of the taglines to the 1998 asteroid disaster film Deep Impact, since the villain himself is a preacher who ensures the society that the end of the world is nigh.
Dictator: Reiji Shiki (志紀令司, しき れいじ)
Shi (志) means will or intention, Ki (紀) means chronicle or history, Rei (令) means orders or command, and Shi (司) means administer or boss. The surname Shiki is homophonous with command, direction, or supervision in Japanese, Shiki (指揮), while the given name Reiji is reverse for command or control in Japanese, Shirei (司令), both referencing his quirk despot.
Kunieda: Ikunobu Kunieda (國枝育伸, くにえだ いくのぶ)
Kuni (國) means country, Eda (枝) means bough or branch, Iku (育) means grow or raise, and Nobu (伸) means to expand or stretch. The villain name Kunieda, which is written in katakana, is an actual surname in Japan, so I had to use the kanji version of that name. The given name Ikunobu means growing and expanding, both of which are referring to his quirk that has the ability to sprout and grow gigantic flowers, spores, and fungus-like plants from the ground.
Gigantomachia: Goro Onikigawa (鬼木川吾郎, おにきがわ ごろう)
Oni or Ki (鬼) means demon, Ki (木) means tree, Kawa or Gawa (川) means river, Go (吾) means I or my, and Ro (郎) means male. The Oni in Onikigawa refers to his demonic appearance, while his given name Goro is a play on the Japanese onomatopoeia Goro Goro (ゴロゴロ), which describes the sound of thunder, earthquake, or other disasters incoming, fitting with his personality during the Paranormal Liberation War Arc.
Iceman: Geten Koriyama (氷山外典, こおりやま げてん)
Kori (氷) means ice, Yama (山) means mountain, Ge or Soto (外) means outside, and Ten or Nori (典) means law. The surname Koriyama is an alternate reading of Hyozan, which means iceberg, fitting with his quirk. The given name Geten means apocrypha, which is a story of unknown author or origin. While Geten is the real name of Iceman, it is unknown if it’s his given name or surname, so randomly assuming that this is his given name, his surname would be unknown, and that explains the surname’s existence.
(NOTE: With the recent release of Chapter 387 on May 8, 2023, it was revealed that Geten happened to be from Rei's side, which means that his surname is Himura, and this made him a relative to the Todoroki family members, so his full name is Geten Himura. It was not explicitly stated how Rei, or even the Todoroki family, and Geten were specifically related and just listed their relation as simply "relative". With this revelation, his full name written in Japanese would be 氷叢外典, or in hiragana, ひむら げてん. As of this writing, this is the only entry on the list with a character's officially confirmed full name in the original source, so I would discard my ideal surname in favor of the original source instead.) Unnamed Cider House leader: Gyokoten Samukawa (寒川凝古天, さむかわ ぎょうこてん)
Samu (寒) means cold, Kawa (川) means river, Gyo (凝) means stiff, Ko or Furu (古) means old or ancient, and Ten (天) means heaven. The surname Samukawa means cold river. The given name Gyokoten is homophonous with freezing point in Japanese - Gyokoten (凝固点). The first kanji of the word Gyo (凝) is the same as in the given name. His alias or villain name was never revealed as well, so Yeti (イエティ) would be a good choice, named after the ape-like creature purported to inhabit the Himalayan mountain range in Asia of the same name.
Keigo's Father: Keiichi Takami (鷹見啓一, たかみ けいいち)
This character in the manga and anime is named that way, which means I would give him his given name only. Taka (鷹) means hawk, Mi (見) means to see, Kei (啓) means disclose, open, or say, and Ichi (一) means 1. The Kei in Keiichi is the same as his son Keigo (啓悟).
Habit Headgear: Takehiko Kito (鬼頭武彦, きとう たけひこ)
Oni or Ki (鬼) means demon, To or Atama (頭) means head, Take (武) means military, and Hiko (彦) means lad or boy. His surname is a reference to his unnerving appearance. Not a Demon Slayer reference.
Giant Villain: Kiichi Otomo (大友毅一, おおとも きいち)
O or Dai (大) means big, Tomo (友) means friend, Ki or Tsuyo (毅) means strong, and Ichi (一) means 1. His name is a reference to his appearance and personality. Ironic that he is the first villain to appear in the series, yet has a character that means friend.
Sludge Villain: Sohei Dorokawa (泥川創平, どろかわ そうへい)
Doro (泥) means mud, Kawa or Gawa (川) means river, So or Hajime (創) means begin or start, and Hei or Pei or Hira (平) means flat. His surname is a reference to his dirty mud-like appearance.
Swordkil: Takeshi Mekajiki (目梶木丈士, めかじき たけし)
Me (目) means eye, Kaji (梶) means sculling oar, Ki (木) means tree or wood, Take (丈) means height or stature, and Shi (士) means samurai. His surname is homophonous with swordfish in Japanese, Mekajiki (眼梶木), which is a reference to his unnamed sword quirk, as well as his villain name, though close.
Daigo: Daigo Saruno (猿野大悟, さるの だいご)
Saru (猿) means monkey, No (野) means field, Dai or O (大) means big, and Go or Satoru (悟) means enlightenment. His surname is a reference to his beast-like appearance, while his given name is the same as that of Daigo Yamamoto (山本大悟), the character’s voice actor, also simply known (and credited) by his given name, Daigo. He is part of the Japanese comedy duo Chidori (千鳥), who made a cameo appearance in My Hero Academia: Two Heroes as two of Wolfram’s minions.
Nobu: Nobuyuki Katai (片井信行, かたい のぶゆき)
Kata (片) means part or fragment, I (井) means water well, Nobu (信) means faith or truth, and Yuki (行) means line. His surname is can be also read as Heni, which is homophonous with displacement (physics) in Japanese, Heni (変位), a reference to his unnamed displacement quirk, while his given name is the same as that of Nobuyuki Hayakawa (早川信行), the character’s voice actor, also simply known (and credited) by his nickname, Nobu (ノブ). Like the previous entry on the list, he is also part of the Japanese comedy duo Chidori (千鳥), who made a cameo appearance in My Hero Academia: Two Heroes as two of Wolfram’s minions.
Glutton God: Shigeo Shokuzawa (食澤茂雄, しょくざわ しげお)
Shoku (食) means food, Zawa or Sawa (澤) means swamp, Shige (茂) means overgrown or grow thick, and O (雄) means masculine or male. His surname is a reference to his appearance, as well as his villain name in Japanese, Kuishin (食神).
Sanctum: Seizo Jiyumiya (自由宮聖造, じゆうみや せいぞう)
Ji (自) means oneself, Yu (由) means wherefore, Miya (宮) means temple or palace, Sei (聖) means holy, and Zo (造) means create or make. His surname means freedom temple, and Seizo means holy structure, referring to his villain name.
The Mother of Quirks: Seiko Yotsubashi (四ツ橋聖子, よつばし せいこ)
Knowing the Mother of Quirks is the mother of Chikara Yotsubashi (四ツ橋主税), I would give her given name only. Yotsu (四ツ) means 4, Hashi (橋) means bridge, Sei (聖) means holy, and Ko (子) means child. I chose Seiko as her given name for a reason, because her name, when Romanized, is an anagram for quirk in Japanese, Kosei (個性), since she was the first person to use the word "quirk" to describe meta abilities.
Shie Hassaikai boss: Takahito Saijo (斎条崇人, さいじょう たかひと)
Sai (斎) means purification, Jo (条) means article, Taka (崇) means respect or revere, and To or Hito (人) means person. The Sai in Saijo is the same character in Shie Hassaikai (死穢八斎會), while his given name fits given with his position during the time he founded the organization years before Kai Chisaki succeeded him.
Hood: Tsuyoshi Aida (会田強士, さいじょう たかひと)
Ai or Kai (会) means meeting or association, Ta or Da (田) means rice field, Tsuyo (強) means strong, and Shi (士) means samurai. His name fits since he used to be a street punk who made a living as a fierce underground fighter before being turned into a Nomu by the Doctor.
Gunga Mountain Villa Paranormal Liberation Front Commander: Kairo Dendo (傳堂会呂, でんどう かいろ)
Den (傳) means propagate or transmit, Do (堂) means temple or hall, Kai or Ai (会) means meeting or association, and Ro (呂) means spine or backbone. His surname is homophonous with electric or conduction in Japanese, Dendo (電動) or Dendo (伝導) respectively, while his given name is homophonous with circuit in Japanese, Kairo (回路), both referring to his quirk amplivolt, which can conduct and amplify electricity within their body, being able to release it afterwards. Ironic that he was never given a name, yet his quirk, as well as his ultimate move, is named in the manga and anime.
That is all I can present. If you know a character whose real name is unknown, comment down below and formulate his or her real name based on the character's qualities. Thank you!

MAIN WANTS: PUZZLER BUNDLE & HEROINES BUNDLE
I will try respond to all offers, but please don't try offer games with a big price difference. I like to keep trades as even as possible, unless you're willing to overpay on your own accord.
I could sell via paypal, but I would much rather stick to games for games, or games for steam items i.e TF2 Keys, CS:GO keys, game skins.
For Rocket league credits, I'll swap for anything that looks like I'll play. Have plenty still to trade. You will
need 2FA enabled on epic to be able to trade credits, + if you're on a Free2Play account you need to have purchased 500 credits or eSports tokens before, and this is Steam/Epic only, no console!

2023.06.08 16:17 The_Abyss_Actor_Guru Abyss Actors Steal The Show! - A Long AA Writeup
SUMMARY/PLAYSTYLE
The main strategy of our deck is to pretty much be somewhat of a glass cannon offense. We like to go second and rely on all the special summoning we can commit, culminating in a pendulum summon of multiple monsters all at once. We continue in this style to swarm the field, then use one of our best spells, Abyss Script - Rise of the Abyss King, to destroy every face-up card in our opponent’s possession. If we didn’t get as many monsters out as we’d have liked and don’t quite have lethal yet, we have other tricks at our disposal, like Abyss Actor - Comic Relief which is capable of stealing an opponent’s monster, disabling them of not only a monster with high ATK, but probably with a very troublesome effect that we can now take advantage of. I call it a glass cannon deck because we are a bit frail; depending on our hand, we can only play through a couple negates, and we rely heavily on hand traps like Ash Blossom and Imperm in order to be able to put in work. Our deck did just get a huge upgrade with, among other things, the L-2 monster Abyss Actor - Super Producer, whose effect allows us to play Abyss Playhouse - Fantastic Theater right out of our deck (which can even be done on our opponent’s turn). This is huge, because we barely had any interruption until now, so we get a way better turn 1. This is very much appreciated because what the theater does is once per turn it will change an opponent’s monster effect to destroy one of our set cards. If you’ve never heard of Abyss Actors you might think that’s not crazy good, but trust me, it’s great for two reasons: one, whatever effect they were trying to do goes out the window, and two, Abyss Actors actually thrive off of their set spell cards being popped as they have additional effects for if this happens. One thing I love about this deck is that our monster effects are slightly complicated, and what I mean by this is there allows some flexibility in our plays, there’s not really just one “correct” line to play every single game. I also greatly enjoy the two gimmicks this deck employs: having pend monsters that can be summoned out of the pend zone, and having monsters that interact alongside their own sub-archetype of spells with effects upon destruction if they are set. Also, this deck xeno locks a lot, so our extra deck plays are very limited and rare (excluding our link monsters). Play Accesscode, Bagooska, Electrumite, Beyond the Pendulum, Linkuriboh, Knightmares, Masquerena, R4NKs and/or 7s…you get the picture.

MONSTERS
Abyss Actor - Trendy Understudy (0x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 2*
Pendulum scale: <8>
Stats: ATK / 700 DEF / 700
Pendulum effect: When you Pendulum Summon: You can add one face-up “Abyss Actor” that is Level 1 or Level 8 from the Extra Deck to your hand.
Monster effect: If you have 2 “Abyss Actor” cards in your Pendulum Zones: You can Tribute this card; Special Summon one Level 1 or Level 8 “Abyss Actor” monster from your hand or face-up from your Extra Deck. This effect is hard once per turn.
The only monsters this card can move or summon is Extras or Evil Heel, neither of which we particularly care to be using or summoning onto the field by trading this one. Even if it was able to summon any AA, the fact that we’re a pend deck and can mass summon all at once basically renders this guy obsolete.
____
Abyss Actor - Extras (3x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 1*
Pendulum scale: <3>
Stats: ATK / 100 DEF / 100
Pendulum effect: If your opponent controls a monster: You can Special Summon this card from the Pendulum Zone. This effect is hard once per turn.
Monster effect: You can Tribute this card: Place an “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster from your deck in your Pendulum Zone. For the rest of the turn after this effect is activated, you can only Special Summon “Abyss Actor” monsters, also you cannot use the Pendulum effect of “Abyss Actor - Extras.” This effect is hard once per turn.
This card is fantastic because it does not waste our normal summon via its pend effect, and because it pulls any monster straight out of our deck and into the pendulum zone. The classic AA drawback of xeno locking ourselves into not being able to go into the ED for any non AA monster for the rest of the turn does suck, but it’s definitely still worth running this card at 3.
____
Abyss Actor - Curtain Raiser (3x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 4*
Pendulum scale: <7>
Stats: ATK / 1100 DEF / 1100
Pendulum effect: If you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your Pendulum Zone. This effect is hard once per duel.
Monster effect: If this is the only monster you control, it gains 1100 ATK. Once per turn: You can send an “Abyss Script” Spell from your deck to your GY; add a face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster from your Extra Deck to your hand.
I was skeptical of this card at first when it was released in Duel Links (but that’s another story). I thought it was awkward that its pend scale is 7, the exact level of Superstar. However, I forgot that this card shines when it only stays in the pend zone for a second. Very often it’s your starter to go into Hyper Director. Alternatively, if you have this and any other low-level monster in your hand, you open up the potential for a LINK-2 or R4NK play prior to the xeno lock, provided you still have a way to make Hyper Director via Extras or an early pend summon. The ATK increase is pretty irrelevant because we are trying to spam the board as much as possible, but the Script mill can be nice combined with Abysstainment, which can tribute one of your AAs in order to set a Script from the GY.
____
Abyss Actor - Mellow Madonna (3x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 7*
Pendulum scale: <0>
Stats: ATK / 1800 DEF / 2500
Pendulum effect: You can pay 1000 LP: Add an “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster from your deck to your hand, except for another copy of this card. This effect is hard once per turn. After this effect’s activation, you can only Special Summon “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monsters for the remainder of the turn.
Monster effect: Gains 100 ATK for each “Abyss Script” Spell in your GY. Each of the following effects are hard once per turn:
- When a Pendulum monster you control is destroyed by battle: You can Special Summon this card from your hand.
- If an “Abyss Script” Spell or effect is activated: You can Special Summon one Level 4 or lower “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster from your deck, but it is sent to your hand during the End Phase.
This is one of the best cards in our deck, but its search effect does come at the brutal cost of not even allowing us to link summon Hyper Director or Super Producer, so be careful about when you time it. The ATK boost is cute, but the cherry on top of Madonna’s effects is the ability to special another monster from the deck to secure the OTK we are aiming for. Being able to special herself is a somewhat rare effect because of the antiquity of battle destruction, but the extra possible protection can never hurt and can even save us in a real bind.
____
Abyss Actor - Evil Heel (0-1x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 8*
Pendulum scale: <1>
Stats: ATK / 3000 DEF / 2000
Pendulum effect: You can Tribute an “Abyss Actor” monster, then target a face-up monster your opponent controls; it loses ATK equal to the original ATK of the Tributed monster, until the end of this turn. This effect is once per turn.
Monster effect: If this card is Summoned: You can target an opponent’s face-up monster; it loses 1000 ATK for each “Abyss Actor” monster you currently control, until the end of this turn. When this card destroys a monster by battle: You can target an “Abyss Script” Spell in your GY; Set that card.
I’ll be honest - objectively, this card is not very good (I just have a soft spot for it). All of this card’s effects are basically useless, considering our game plan is to pop all face-up cards with Abyss King. Therefore lowering our opponent’s ATK or setting cards from our GY after destroying something by battle is somewhat moot if we’re clearing the board in another way. In addition, using this card, a level 8 monster, almost forces you to have Wild Hope in the pend zone to make its pend summon possible (Twinkle sucks, don’t use her). The reason I play this card as a 1-of is because us AA players need all the ATK we can get, because it can be summoned by other ways like with Hyper Director, and for the unlikely scenario where our opponent has a monster indestructible by card effect, meaning Abyss King wouldn’t work on it, but is not untargetable.
____
Abyss Actor - Superstar (2-3x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 7*
Pendulum scale: <3>
Stats: ATK / 2500 DEF / 1800
Pendulum effect: You can Tribute one “Abyss Actor” monster, then target an “Abyss Script” Spell in your GY; add it to your hand. This effect is once per turn.
Monster effect: When this card is Summoned, your opponent’s Spell/Trap cards and effects cannot be activated. You can Set one “Abyss Script” Spell directly from the deck, but it is sent to the GY during the End Phase. This effect is once per turn.
Another amazing hitter in our lineup, and appropriately so, being the closest we have to a boss monster. This monster’s power lies in the fact that it, and whatever you pend along with it, cannot be floodgated. But it doesn’t stop there: the ability to set any Script we want straight from the deck is also an egregiously spectacular effect. Don’t worry about its pend effect; the only reason we’d be putting Superstar into the pend zone is to cheat it out with Hyper Director. But if you really need it, it’s pretty much more copies of Abysstainment. We’d normally rather not be using this card as a spell, though.
____
Abyss Actor - Sassy Rookie (0-1x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 4*
Pendulum scale: <2>
Stats: ATK / 1700 DEF / 1000
Pendulum effect: If your “Abyss Actor” monster would be destroyed by battle or an opponent’s card effect, you can destroy this card instead.
Monster effect: This first time this card would be destroyed each turn, it is not. If this card is destroyed by battle or an opponent’s card effect: You can Special Summon one Level 4 or lower “Abyss Actor” monster from the deck, except another copy of this card. If this card in the Pendulum Zone is destroyed: You can target one Level 4 or lower monster your opponent controls; destroy it.
You’re rarely, if ever, putting this card in the pend zone (Madonna + Comic Relief is the usual pair), but it’s got a decent protection effect that can proc its other effect, destroying a low-leveled monster in your opponent’s possession. A niche use of this effect could be for Super Producer to destroy it on the opponent’s turn for some interruption, something which our deck has had a lack of until now. However, the main use of this card (besides being another name to get popping with Abyss King) is the sheer annoyance it is to get rid of. Not only will it simply not die the first time it normally should, but on top of that, once it finally is destroyed, well guess what, now we get a float of Wild Hope or Leading Lady for a potential search or ATK reduction on top of having another body to be dealt with, so thanks! This goober is just a little lovable sponge.
____
Abyss Actor - Wild Hope (2-3x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 4*
Pendulum scale: <2>
Stats: ATK / 1600 DEF / 1200
Pendulum effect: If you have another “Abyss Actor” monster scaled in your opposite Pendulum Zone, you can change its scale to 9 until the end of this turn. This effect is once per turn. You cannot Special Summon for the remainder of this turn, except to Summon “Abyss Actor” monsters.
Monster effect: Until the end of this turn, you can have this card gain 100 ATK for each “Abyss Actor” monster you control with different names. This effect is once per turn. If this card is destroyed: You can add one “Abyss Actor” card from the deck to your hand, except for another copy of this card. This effect is hard once per turn.
Yeehaw, pardner. The slight ATK buff is cute and sometimes may be necessary to get every last drop of power we need to kill in one turn, but the effect we really care about is the search upon destruction. Simple as that! Search with it, pendulum summon it back out, and give it a baboost while you have the max number of AAs on your side of the field to utilize it to its fullest.
____
Abyss Actor - Liberty Dramatist (1-2x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 4*
Pendulum scale: <8>
Stats: ATK / 1500 DEF / 1500
Pendulum effect: When an attack is declared: You can discard one card; Special Summon this card to your opponent’s field. This effect is hard once per turn.
Monster effect: If this card is Special Summoned out of the Pendulum Zone: Reveal 3 “Abyss Script” Spells from your deck. Your opponent randomly chooses one to be Set to your field, and shuffle the others back into your deck. The card Set by this effect will be destroyed at the End Phase. If this card is destroyed: You can shuffle one “Abyss Script” Spell from your GY into the deck. Each of these effects are hard once per turn.
Alright, from what I’ve personally seen throughout my research on other AA decks out there, this card is a little bit slept on. Up until her release we only had Comic Relief and Fantastic Theater to force the opponent to pop our set Scripts, and I think that any card that reinforces that sentiment is appreciated. Yes, it does suck that you’ll have to discard a card to make it happen - maybe that cost is a bit too much to make her worth running, we can find that out. I also think, though, that its other effect of being able to set a Script upon being summoned out of the pend zone works fantastically alongside Hyper Director. Finally, let’s say you lost access to Abysstainment being able to recur Scripts out of the GY: she can send one back into the deck for you to search, play, or set later on. We also love running as many unique AA names as we can to be sure that Abyss King can get popping. No, I’m not saying she’s the best card to ever come out for AAs, but I think she has a multitude of decent effects and that a chance should be given for her.
____
Abyss Actor - Twinkle Little Star (0x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 4*
Pendulum scale: <9>
Stats: ATK / 1000 DEF / 1000
Pendulum effect: You can target one “Abyss Actor” monster you control: During this turn, it can make up to 3 attacks on monsters, also your other monsters cannot attack. You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except “Abyss Actors.”
Monster effect: This card is not destroyed by battle on your turn. This card can make up to 3 attacks on monsters.
These effects are nothing but more of a detriment than anything, unless for some reason you’re playing 3 Evil Heel and no Abyss King, please don’t put her in your deck. The spiciest play you could make with her is to play Fantasy Magic and swing into up to 3 monsters, but you’re offing yourself in the battle damage you take from it, plus your opponent will just resummon those monsters next turn regardless, making all of that work meaningless. Abyss King is a million times easier and more effective.
____
Abyss Actor - Leading Lady (0-1x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 4*
Pendulum scale: <2>
Stats: ATK / 1500 DEF / 1000
Pendulum effect: When you take battle damage from an opponent’s attacking monster: You can activate one of these effects;
- That opponent’s monster loses ATK equal to the damage you took.
- Add a face-up “Abyss Actor” monster from your Extra Deck to your hand with ATK less than or equal to the damage you took. This effect is once per turn.
Monster effect: When battle damage is inflicted: You can target one face-up monster your opponent controls; it loses ATK equal to the damage dealt. This effect is once per turn. If this card is destroyed by battle or an opponent’s card effect: You can Set one “Abyss Script” Spell directly from the deck.
Once again, the effects that lower ATK can be counted as backup, assuming we were stopped from getting Abyss King going. Alternatively, moving a monster from the ED to our hand might be nice sometimes. Its monster effect ATK reduction can be a decent way to protect yourself from lethal on the opponent’s turn, for it goes off even if she herself is attacked and before she is destroyed. Looking at the effect offensively, Supreme King Dragon Dark Rebellion plus Leading Lady (and Evil Heel) can be a cheeky way to deal massive amounts of damage if we do not want to or cannot wipe the field and attack directly for whatever reason. And her replacement effect is nifty. Another easy-to-summon AA name with somewhat okay effects = more pops with Abyss King.
____
Abyss Actor - Comic Relief (3x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 3*
Pendulum scale: <8>
Stats: ATK / 1000 DEF / 2000
Pendulum effect: You can target one face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster you control and one monster your opponent controls; switch control of the two monsters, then destroy this card. This effect is hard once per turn.
Monster effect: This card’s controller takes no battle damage from attacks involving this card. During your Standby Phase: Give control of this card to your opponent (this effect is once per turn). If control of this face-up card changes: Activate this effect; this card’s owner (yourself) can destroy one Set “Abyss Script” Spell on their field. This effect is also once per turn.
BEST CARD IN THE GAME BAYBEE HA YOU IDIOT TAKE THIS 100 ATK MONSTER IN EXCHANGE FOR THAT BOSS MONSTER YOU SPENT YOUR WHOLE TURN MAKING oh yeah it also is a great tool to destroy your own set Scripts for them to pop off aaand it’s a scale 8 so we can basically pend anything we want with it wooo
____
Abyss Actor - Funky Comedian (0x)
DARK Fiend
Level: 1*
Pendulum scale: <8>
Stats: ATK / 300 DEF / 200
Pendulum effect: You can Tribute an “Abyss Actor” monster, then target one face-up “Abyss Actor” monster you control; it gains ATK equal to the original ATK of the Tributed monster, until the end of this turn.
Monster effect: If this card is Summoned: You can make it gain 300 ATK for each “Abyss Actor” monster you control, until the end of this turn. You can target one other “Abyss Actor” monster you control; until the end of this turn, it gains ATK equal to this monster’s current ATK. This card cannot attack the turn this effect is activated. This effect is hard once per turn.
While we are a bit desperate to get as much ATK as we can muster to push for the OTK we would love to see, it’s not really worth playing a monster whose only function is that, unless you’re going for an attack-oriented aggro Evil-Heel-centered build. You don’t need to run this guy, our little baboosts and monster swarming is usually sufficient.
____
Abyss Actor - Hyper Director (3x)
DARK Fiend
1 “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster
Link Rating: LINK-1
Stats: ATK / 800
Effect: You can target one card in your Pendulum Zone: Special Summon it, then place an “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster with a different name from your deck or face-up Extra Deck into your Pendulum Zone. For the rest of this turn after this effect is used, you cannot Normal or Special Summon a monster, except to Summon an “Abyss Actor” monster. This effect is hard once per turn.
A la Extras, here we have a very good L-1 monster that not only sets a pend scale from the deck but also cheats out whatever we want from the pend zone, adding a monster onto our frontrow like we love to do. The big new play that we’re usually gonna want to do is to use Hyper Director and whatever he called from the pend zone in order to link summon the next monster on our list.
____
Abyss Actor - Super Producer (3x)
DARK Fiend
2 monsters, including 1 Fiend-Type monster
Link Rating: LINK-2
Stats: ATK / 1600
Effect: During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can target one face-up card you control; destroy it, then you can apply one of these effects. This effect is hard once per turn. Place one “Abyss Playhouse - Fantastic Theater” from your deck to the Field Zone. Place one “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster from your deck in your Pendulum Zone.
Such a wonderful card, as previously mentioned in the summary. Destroying one of our monsters is an effect that we like to see, since it procs Wild Hope’s search, Sussy Rookie’s effect in the pend zone, or Liberty Dramatist’s Script recursion. But that’s just a bonus: the real reason we love this card so is the fact that Fantastic Theater can be played right out the deck (dodging Ash Blossom, since it is not being added to the hand but to the field), negating an opponent’s next monster effect. Super Producer’s effect can be chained onto an opponent’s monster effect, and after the chain resolves, their effect will be changed after Theater hits the field, meaning we can time it to block whatever we want, then reap the rewards of having our set Scripts destroyed by our opponent. Or use the second effect and put something in the pend zone, that effect is also good if we already have Fantastic Theater up.

SPELLS
Abyss Prop - Wild Wagon (0x)
Continuous Spell
Effect: The first time each “Abyss Actor” monster you control would be destroyed by battle each turn, it is not. You can target one face-up “Abyss Actor” monster you control; your opponent cannot target it with card effects until the end of their turn. This effect is once per turn. If this Set card in its owner’s possession is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect, and you have a face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster in the Extra Deck: You can return all cards your opponent controls to the hand.
As nutty as this card’s effects seem, one big reason no one runs it is because its name is “Abyss Prop,” not “Abyss Script.” This makes it unsearchable, making it luck of the draw. It also means Comic Relief cannot pop it when it swaps control over to your opponent. Additionally, this card has some oversights and it’s not quite what it may be cracked up to be. For one, I should not have to say that negates or destruction by card effect are extremely common, meaning the one-time protection by battle for our monsters is fairly negligible. While the next effect, temporary untargetability for a monster, may be useful going first to prepare for something your opponent might be planning on doing, unfortunately this effect kind of falls flat on its face because at any other time, all your opponent has to do is chain to this effect, targeting your monster and getting their disruption off anyway. Lastly, while this card does have the potential to bounce your opponent’s entire board, this will only work if they do not destroy this card near the start of their turn or lack recovery. And even if it does pop off, your opponent will simply re-set any backrow that was bounced. Don’t get me wrong, removing every monster off their field they just established would be insane, but it’s not like you no longer have to worry about playing through anything. Anyway, after this long-winded discussion of this debatable card, what follows is a much better spell that we are going to want to use.
____
Abyss Script - Dramatic Story (2x)
Normal Spell
Effect: Target one “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster you control; Special Summon one “Abyss Actor” monster from your deck with a different name, then place the targeted monster in your Pendulum Zone or destroy it. If this Set card in its owner’s possession is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect, and you have a face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster in the Extra Deck: You can return up to 2 cards on the field to the hand. This card’s activation is hard once per turn.
Now this is what we like to see: an actual Abyss Script spell to use alongside the plethora of AA monsters that have effects related to them! In fact, this is the newest one, and its effect goes hard, vastly increasing consistency (I can see a case being made to run 3 of this card, for sure). Now, right off the bat what jumps out to me is that this card special summons from the deck, meaning that it cannot be abused while Ash Blossom is so prevalent. Does that mean we should not play this card at all, for fear of it being negated? Absolutely not. This card does four amazing things all in one - it can summon any monster we need out of the deck, it can set a pend scale for us, it can destroy our monster (let’s say we only opened this + Wild Hope and a bunch of hand traps, we’re definitely destroying Wild Hope for a search to make more plays possible), and it can bounce (non-targeting) up to 2 pesky cards on the field. With the versatility this card provides, I fail to see why it would not be run.
____
Abyss Actors’ Dress Rehearsal (3x)
Normal Spell
Effect: At the start of Main Phase 1: Add one “Abyss Actor” card and one “Abyss Script” Spell from your deck to your hand. For the remainder of this turn, you cannot Pendulum Summon any monsters except for “Abyss Actor” monsters.
Pretty self-explanatory: it’s a search of 2 cards, so it’s quite nice. The caveat of it being usable only at the start of MP1 means we replace Pot of Extravagance for it, and the fact that it prevents us from pend summoning anything other than AAs means literally nothing to us when every main deck monster we want to summon is an AA.
____
Abyss Playhouse - Fantastic Theater (1-2x)
Field Spell
Effect: You can reveal one “Abyss Actor” monster and one “Abyss Script” Spell in your hand; add one “Abyss Script” Spell from the deck to your hand, with a different name from the one you revealed. While you control a Pendulum Summoned “Abyss Actor” monster, any monster effect activated by your opponent becomes “Destroy one Set Spell/Trap your opponent controls”. Each effect of this card is hard once per turn.
I pretty much already explained this card in the summary, so I’ll try and keep it concise. It gives us a search for a Script? Nice. It says “fuck you” to an opponent’s monster once per turn and allows us to take advantage of our Scripts’ second effects? Even better.
____
Abyss Script - Rise of the Abyss King (2x)
Normal Spell
Effect: Target face-up cards on the field, up to the number of face-up attack position “Abyss Actor” monsters with different names you control; destroy them. If you control a Level 7 or higher “Abyss Actor” monster when this card is activated: Your opponent cannot chain a card or effect onto it. If this Set card in its owner’s possession is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect, and you have a face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster in the Extra Deck: You can add up to 2 “Abyss Actor” cards and/or “Abyss Script” Spells with different names from the deck to your hand.
Undoubtedly our best spell in the entire deck, as it makes the OTK possible. Not only that, but the fact that it has Super Poly’s “your opponent can’t activate anything in response to this card” effect while we have a high-level AA out is incredible. Finally, we search 2 if this card is destroyed while it is set and we have an AA in the ED, which is very much welcomed.
____
Abyss Script - Abysstainment (1-2x)
Continuous Spell
Effect: You can Tribute 1 “Abyss Actor” monster, then target one “Abyss Script” Spell in your GY; Set it to your field. This effect is hard twice per turn. If this Set card in its owner’s possession is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect, and you have a face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster in the Extra Deck: You can Special Summon any number of “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monsters from your deck.
Pretty good effect, allows you to use Abyss King multiple times in one turn. And not to mention a pretty cracked second effect, literally allowing you to special summon up to 5 monsters right out of the deck in one go.
____
Abyss Script - Opening Ceremony (1-2x)
Normal Spell
Effect: Gain 500 LP for each face-up “Abyss Actor” monster you control. If this Set card in its owner’s possession is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect, and you have a face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster in the Extra Deck: You can draw until you have 5 cards in your hand. Each effect of this card is hard once per turn.
The LP gain effect can actually be pretty tremendous since we are continuously going -1K for the Madonna search and we love to swarm the field, making 500 per monster not the worst. However, the real reason I would play this card is because YOU CAN DRAW 5.
____
Abyss Script - Romantic Terror (0x)
Quick-Play Spell
Effect: Return one “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster you control to the hand, and if you do, Special Summon from your Extra Deck in defense position, one face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster with a different original name from the monster you returned. If this Set card in its owner’s possession is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect, and you have a face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster in the Extra Deck: You can Set any number of “Abyss Script” Spells directly from your deck. This card’s activation is hard once per turn.
Ehhh this is pretty jank, the summon effect is pretty nothing and the effect to set any Script(s) is unnecessary and slower compared to Abysstainment or Superstar on our turn.
____
Abyss Script - Fire Dragon’s Lair (0x)
Normal Spell
Effect: Target one “Abyss Actor” monster you control; if it destroys your opponent’s monster by battle this turn, your opponent chooses 3 monsters from their Extra Deck and banishes them. If this Set card in its owner’s possession is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect, and you have a face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster in the Extra Deck: You can look at your opponent’s Extra Deck, also banish one monster from it. This effect of this card is hard once per turn.
Pretty hollow card. We have no interest in using any copies of it.
____
Abyss Script - Fantasy Magic (0-1x)
Normal Spell
Effect: Target one “Abyss Actor” monster you control; if it battles an opponent’s monster this turn, but does not destroy the monster it battled, return that monster to your opponent’s hand at the end of the Damage Step. If this Set card in its owner’s possession is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect, and you have a face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monster in the Extra Deck: You can target one card your opponent controls: Place it on top of their deck.
Now I haven’t seen a list utilize this card and its first effect is pretty useless, I just love that its second effect is spell version of Raiza spin and I think that makes it decent enough to play at a single copy for shits and giggles.
》》》》》◆《《《《《
TRAPS
Abyss Actors Back Stage (0x)
Normal Trap
Effect: If you have two “Abyss Actor” cards in your Pendulum Zones: Add two “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monsters with different names from your deck to your Extra Deck, face-up. This effect is hard once per turn.
This is slow and for literally nothing, wtf
____
Abyss Actors’ Curtain Call (0x)
Normal Trap
Effect: If an “Abyss Script” Spell or effect is activated this turn: Add face-up “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monsters from your Extra Deck to the hand, up to the number of “Abyss Script” Spells in your GY. Then, you can Special Summon “Abyss Actor” monsters from your hand with different names, up to the number of cards added to the hand. You cannot Special Summon for the remainder of this turn, except “Abyss Actor” Pendulum monsters. This effect is hard once per turn.
Too situational and slow. Our ED is only ever gonna have like 1 or 2 face-up AAs in it anyway, so a straight up pendulum summon outclasses this. However, it is searchable off Wild Hope, so I guess I could see this being played at 1 for a defensive strategy if we end up going first, so long as it doesn’t end up being popped before it can be played to its fullest extent, which is ironically something we do encourage our opponent to do. Hence why I find this card somewhat risky and not the best to be running.

2023.06.08 16:08 Predaplant [Character of the Month] Raven
(Spotlight guest-written by
bluelookslikeblue)
Name: Rachel Roth
Created by: Marv Wolfman and George Perez
First Appearance: DC Comics Presents #26
Affiliation: Titans
Previous Affiliations: Teen Titans, Sentinels of Magic, Night Force, Team Wonder, Justice League Dark
Allies: Beast Boy, Nightwing, Donna Troy, Cyborg, Starfire, Arsenal, Tempest, both Wally Wests, Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark), Superboy (Conner Kent), Robin (Tim Drake), Wonder Woman, Shazam, Booster Gold
Powers: Pretty much whatever combination of teleportation, empathic healing, soul-self projection, flight, telepathy, telekinesis, emotional manipulation, mind control, and vaguely defined magical energy the writer feels like that day.
Origins:
Raven’s story begins with her mother, Angela Roth. Angela made the unfortunate decision to join a satanic cult, leading to an even more unfortunate encounter with Trigon, a genocidal demon rapist. One failed abortion/suicide later, Angela and her daughter were taken in by the monks of Azarath, a pacifistic magical realm which accidentally created Trigon in the first place. Taking on Trigon’s daughter was a matter of controversy in Azarath and there was at least one assassination attempt on the infant half-demon. Angela took the name Arella and learned some of the Azarathian mystic arts. The child named Raven was taken to be raised by the Goddess Azar.
Azar determined that Raven could be possessed by Trigon and/or destroy the universe if she lost control of her emotions. Thus, Arella was told to surrender her child to Azar to train and raise. Azar raised Raven in isolation, training her to purge herself of emotion and rarely permitting contact with others including her own mother. The result was a child about as socially well-adjusted as you’d expect someone denied emotions, love, or any contact with kids her own age whatsoever. Upon Azar’s death, Raven’s training fell to Arella. Although mother and daughter eventually grew close, their relationship was somewhat hampered by Raven’s insularity and emotional stuntedness. On her thirteenth birthday, Trigon revealed himself as her father. He tortured her mother and demanded Raven take his place at his side. She refused and lashed out in hatred, her darker side manifesting as her soul-self for the first time. Satisfied that his daughter had inherited his power and rage, Trigon departed, warning that he would return once Raven became a woman.
New Teen Titans:
When Raven was eighteen, Trigon returned to destroy the Earth. Deeming this outcome unacceptable, she implored the priests of Azarath to intervene but they refused, believing it to be a violation of their pacifist beliefs. Moving on to Plan B, she fled to Earth and asked the Justice League for help but was declined as Zatanna sensed Trigon’s taint on her and told her teammates that Raven was probably evil. Refusing to give up, she went to Plan C and haunted the dreams of Dick Grayson - then still Robin - until he agreed to reform the Teen Titans with her chosen members. She was able to convince Donna Troy (then Wonder Girl), Beast Boy (then going by Changeling), and Cyborg to join but was turned down by Wally West (then Kid Flash). Unwilling to take no for an answer at this point, Raven secretly made Wally fall in love with her using her empathic magic, causing him to join. She then led them to the rescue of their final member, the alien warrior Starfire who was captured by Gordanian slavers.
Raven’s early days with the Titans did not go well. Her pacifism made her useless in fights and her refusal to give a straight answer to anything and tendency to disappear immediately upon getting what she needed made her teammates question her trustworthiness. Things were further complicated when the other Titans were killed and Raven had to go back in time with Booster Gold to covertly fix the timeline. Upon Zatanna’s revelation that Raven had turned Wally’s brains to scrambled eggs so he would do her bidding, her teammates decided they had enough and refused to put up with her anymore. To make matters worse, Trigon arrived to destroy the world and easily defeated her estranged teammates. Raven teleported them to Azarath before they could be killed and begged her mother and the priests of Azarath for help but was again declined. When Trigon appeared and once more defeated the Titans, Raven moved on to Plan D and agreed to go with him in exchange for the safety of the Earth and the lives of the Titans. Trigon accepted her offer and took Raven with him to his realm. He then promptly murdered a child and announced his intent to destroy the Earth anyway. Distraught by the loss of her daughter, Arella agreed to take the Titans to Trigon in order to rescue Raven but the teens were defeated again and imprisoned. However, Raven was able to free her teammates and together they were able to weaken Trigon with Arella sacrificing herself to imprison Trigon in another dimension.
Raven enrolled in college and continued to serve with the New Teen Titans despite an awkward and occasionally tense relationship with Wally West, forming an odd friendship with the extroverted and impulsive Starfire. While continuing to espouse pacifism and pursuing non-violence when possible, Raven came to the conclusion that knocking people out with her soul-self, controlling minds, and the occasional act of psychological torture was okay and robots and monsters shouldn’t count anyway and thus proved surprisingly useful in many fights. During this period, the Teen Titans would face off against many supervillains such as Deathstroke, the Brotherhood of Evil, and the Fearsome Five. However, none would prove as troublesome to the young heroes as Brother Blood, whose cunning, charisma, and arcane mastery would put the Titans on the off-foot time and time again. Although Raven would come to be a valued member of the team, Trigon’s corrosive influence led to her gradual physical and mental degradation which was exacerbated by her fear of reaching out to others for help. Eventually, Trigon escaped captivity and almost caused the apocalypse with a corrupted Raven as his minion. The Teen Titans ultimately thwarted Trigon with the help of Raven’s mother and Lilith Clay. Raven’s body was nowhere to be found.
The Titans thought this a bit weird but didn’t make finding her their number one priority. This proved to be a bit of a whoopsie-doodles as she was captured and brainwashed by Brother Blood first. Nightwing would eventually come looking for her but was himself captured. Blood would defeat the Titans and came to the cusp of taking over the world before Raven broke free of his control and stopped him. With Trigon seemingly dead, Brother Blood’s brainwashing purged, and her soul purified, Raven was free to be herself for the first time in her life. Rejoining the Titans, the now-white cloaked Raven was thrilled to finally be free of any malign influence and became the embodiment of sweetness and light. Unfortunately, this sunny outlook was not to last. Kid Flash’s replacement Jericho became evil and caused her to be corrupted by evil spirits. Once more falling to demonic possession, Raven proceeded to engage in various acts of villainy. However, the good part of Raven secretly planted herself in Starfire and helped her friends kill her body and defeat her evil self.
Time Dead:
Raven’s re-purified spirit spent most of this period hanging around as a golden ghost, occasionally assisting the Titans when necessary. For a while Detective Comics Comics forgot she was dead and she served on the Sentinels of Magic alongside various other mystical heroes such as Zatanna, Alan Scott, and Madame Xanadu. Then it remembered and unceremoniously threw her back in the grave without explanation.
A Second Chance at Life:
Raven would be resurrected in a younger body by the new Brother Blood, a sniveling teenage aspiring rapist who was the son of the previous Brother Blood. Brother Blood Junior wanted to force Raven to marry him as part of a plan to end the world. Raven was not fond of this development and tried to escape. Upon being caught and recaptured, her subconscious magically reached out to Beast Boy via a haunting and took control of him in order to lead the latest iteration of the Teen Titans to her location. With his help, she broke free of Brother Blood’s control. Once more plagued by her darker half as a result of Brother Blood’s rituals and believing herself to be a danger to her friends, Raven prepared to depart but was encouraged by Beast Boy to rejoin the Titans, now consisting of himself, fellow veterans Starfire and Cyborg, and new members Cassie Sandsmark, Conner Kent, and Tim Drake. Raven would renounce her pacifism and help her friends mentor the younger members of the team, helping Tim come to terms with the death of his father and encouraging Conner to believe that he was more than the worst parts of his heritage after the discovery that he was a partial clone of Lex Luthor. She would also begin a rocky on and off again romance with Beast Boy. While Raven was drawn to his kindness, her lack of openness and his immaturity would lead to many rough patches in their relationship. Raven attempted to establish a civilian secret identity as Rachel Roth but it is questionable how secret it really was after Beast Boy visited her in the belief nobody would recognize him if he showed up in disguise as a green bear.
When Trigon returned, Raven reunited with her old New Teen Titans teammates and defeated him but was once more nearly overtaken by her evil side. Although able to prevail over her inner darkness, Raven was badly shaken by the experience and became even more insular and withdrawn. Believing herself to be a danger to her friends, she broke up with Beast Boy and attempted to push him away through meanness for his own safety. However, events would see them once again working together mentoring younger heroes on the Teen Titans. The pair would eventually reconcile, with Beast Boy growing in maturity and Raven resolving to get in touch with her emotions and embrace the good in life as well as the bad. Reaffirming their love, the two shared a passionate kiss and were ready to move on, optimistic about their future together.
The New 52:
Because Barry Allen missed his mom, the entire timeline was rebooted and all of the previous history and character development was lost because Dan DiDio said so. In the new timeline, most of her early life was basically the same except this time Rachel was her birth name. However, this time she had to flee Azarath at age sixteen to escape Trigon. While hiding on Earth, Rachel would attempt to do good, using her empathic powers to secretly comfort suffering people but was betrayed by the Phantom Stranger and handed over to her father who renamed her Raven. Forced to become Trigon’s servant, Raven committed various atrocities before being planted on the Teen Titans as a mole. Beast Boy was red for a bit before turning green again for unexplained reasons. Bart was actually Bar-Torr, a war criminal from the future. Raven broke free of her father’s control due to time travel shenanigans. It was a weird time. Following a lot of bad comics, the team disbanded and Raven sought out her mother’s family and enrolled in high school, hoping to reconnect with her human side.
Rebirth:
Due to events featuring the older, white Wally West and a naked blue man, it turned out that five years were erased from the timeline and there was a previous Titans team led by Dick Grayson. As a result, there were now two Titans teams, the Titans led by Dick Grayson, and the Teen Titans, now led by Damian Wayne. Raven was shanghaied into the Teen Titans via kidnapping by Damian alongside her old teammate Beast Boy, the younger, African-American Wally West and Starfire. Raven did not do much of note during this period. She briefly made an ill-advised decision to throw in with an insane Tim Drake from the future alongside Beast Boy, as they determined that even a Tim Drake without all his marbles was preferable to Damian. She also did a few cool things during the Dark Nights: Metal Wild Hunt tie-in issue where she was decidedly unimpressed by the angsty darkness of evil Batmen. Monkeys were involved. DC tried putting Raven in a relationship with Wallace the Younger but changed its mind. As a result, they officially began dating in an issue of Teen Titans and were mentioned to have broken up off-panel in an issue of The Flash that came out the same day. She was then abducted by aliens and took part in the events of No Justice where she was part of a Wonder Woman-led team of mystics before having a few solo adventures stopping Trigon again and briefly leading a group of magically powered teens associated with the morally dubious Baron Winters. After this, she was ambiguously aged up alongside Beast Boy and placed on Dick Grayson’s adult Titans team where she was drawn as older and written as more mature and having a preexisting friendship as Nightwing but nothing was explicitly retconned. Raven lost her soul-self early in her tenure with this team along with most of her powers and ability to feel emotions due to trickery by an elf. She would eventually recover it and save the universe from the villainous Mother Blood alongside Beast Boy with the two friends saving each others’ lives during the final battle.
The Present:
Because in another universe Batman is a clown, Wonder Woman had a conversation with Perpetua after a bunch of nonsense that I am not going to waste time on what happened and continuity changed again. Raven is now in her mid to late twenties and has achieved greater mastery of her powers than ever before. Her background is currently hazy with something vaguely approximating the events of New Teen Titans having occurred several years in the past with some details changed. (eg: Cyborg was a member of the Justice League before joining the Teen Titans.) More information regarding Raven’s current origins and backstory will presumably be revealed in the upcoming Tales of the Titans miniseries.
Raven agreed to participate in her fellow former New Teen Titans’ disastrous attempt to run a school for super-teens. It exploded twice in a year before they gave up and called it quits. During this period, Raven mentored Billy Batson and his friend Dane (who was the antichrist), saving the two boys from the clutches of the fallen angel Neron after they made an unauthorized trip to Hell. She would also reignite her relationship with Beast Boy. After Teen Titans Academy blew up the second time during the events of Dark Crisis, Raven proved instrumental in saving the universe, locating Pariah’s magical macguffin as part of a Justice League Dark taskforce and defeating a corrupted Spectre with the assistance of Jim Corrigan. However, victory would not come without a cost, as Beast Boy would become horribly traumatized after an attack by Deathstroke which nearly killed him. Also, Lazarus Planet happened and Trigon came back but nobody cares about Lazarus Planet.
Following the events of Dark Crisis, Raven took her relationship with Beast Boy to the next level, sharing living arrangements with him, helping him cope with his PTSD, and even engaging in public displays of affection with her fuzzy green lover. Raven and Beast Boy agreed to once more serve on the Titans, now tasked with safeguarding the world following the disbanding of the Justice League. One of their first assignments was the safekeeping of Olivia Desmond, a young girl whose soul was claimed by Neron, who had since taken over hell. Raven saw echoes of her past in the young girl and took the matter very personally -much to the concern of her teammates who were disturbed by her willingness to entertain extreme measures to safeguard the child. Determining that the best way to learn how to help Olivia was to go directly to the source of the problem, Raven led the Titans through the depths of hell where Nightwing found the information needed to save Olivia’s soul. While there, she formed an uneasy working relationship with the demon Blaze, who was vying with Neron for control of hell.
Neron proved supremely incompetent and utterly failed at all of his attempts at villainy in an extraordinarily pathetic manner. Trigon showed up to call him a loser, a rare area of agreement between father and daughter. While Neron was easily poofed back to hell by Nightwing in a weakened state through the power of bad writing, Raven deemed this outcome unsatisfactory. Believing Olivia to be unsafe as long as Neron was still at large, Raven returned to hell by herself without consulting her teammates and proceeded to singlehandedly overthrow him through overwhelming violence. She then left a brutalized and comatose Neron to the mercies of Blaze, to whom she handed the leadership of hell. When asked what price she demanded for control of the underworld, Raven informed Blaze that she would call in a favor later but for now she just wanted the Titans left alone by any demonic forces. Blaze agreed to Raven’s terms, warning her that she sensed that Raven was not whole and something was missing…
Raven currently stands at an inflection point. In some ways, she has never had it better. She is more powerful than she has ever been and has reunited with her oldest friends, earned the respect of her peers, and found love. However, her decision to meddle in hell’s affairs may prove her downfall, earning her powerful enemies and encouraging dark impulses she has long tried to suppress. What happens next may determine whether she will finally rise above her tragic past or fall into damnation forever. Whatever the future may hold for the Daughter of Darkness, the return of her father and the rise of a new Brother Blood suggests that it is not going to be easy.

All five drill holes were resource confirmation holes from West Ayawilca, and all intersected strong zinc mineralization. The Company has now successfully completed its 11,000-metre drill program at Ayawilca which commenced midway through 2022. Two drill rigs were demobilized during May 2023 and independent mining consultants have now been engaged to complete an updated mineral resource estimate. The 2022-23 drill program has significantly improved the geological model of the mineralized zinc bodies at West and South Ayawilca and improved the confidence in the continuity of mineralization. One exploration hole at South Ayawilca has results pending. The next steps for the project include an updated resource estimate to be announced during Q3 2023 and the continuation of low impact exploration. Key Highlights – Drill hole results from West Ayawilca: Hole A23-216 - 97.9 metres at 8.8% zinc and 16 g/t silver from 197.90 metres depth, including
- 35.8 metres at 19.0% zinc and 35 g/t silver from 260.0 metres depth, including
- 13.5 metres at 25.3% zinc and 44 g/t silver from 265.5 metres depth.
Hole A23-217 - 71.9 metres at 5.5% zinc and 8 g/t silver from 186.1 metres depth, including
- 45.8 metres at 6.4% zinc and 10 g/t silver from 210.4 metres depth, including
- 4.85 metres at 15.2% zinc and 23 g/t silver from 210.4 metres depth.
Hole A23-213 - 30.4 metres at 6.0% zinc from 180.0 metres depth, including
- 1.2 metres at 37.2% zinc from 207.3 metres depth, and
- 30.5 metres at 5.1% zinc from 260.0 metres depth.
Hole A22-211 - 38.15 metres at 6.3% zinc, 1.1% lead and 28 g/t silver from 151.0 metres depth, including
- 6.6 metres at 9.2% zinc, 5.2% lead and 81 g/t silver from 182.55 metres depth.
Hole A22-214 - 13.1 metres at 3.7% zinc from 243.9 metres depth
True thicknesses of these intercepts are estimated to be at least 75% of the downhole thicknesses. Dr. Graham Carman, Tinka’s President and CEO, stated: "The 2022-23 drill program has been one of the most successful drill programs since Tinka began exploring at Ayawilca. The latest results highlight the quality of the zinc mineralization at Ayawilca in terms of both grade and thickness and provide strong confidence in the geological resource." "We have confirmed at West Ayawilca that two pipe-like sulphide bodies hosted by brecciated limestones extend through the 100-200-metre-thick limestones and are connected by massive sulphides at the base. At South Ayawilca, very high-grade massive sulphide zinc mineralization is concentrated in a folded limestone at shallower depth - this discovery has the potential to be a ‘starter mine’ which could provide early payback." "Our contention that Ayawilca is one of the best zinc exploration and development projects in the Americas has been reinforced by the recent drill program. I wish to thank our staff, our stakeholders at the project and our drilling contractor for their hard work which has enabled this drill program to be successfully completed. We now look forward to the mineral resource update for the Ayawilca Zinc Zone and Tin Zone deposits, which will be released during Q3 2023. In the meantime, low impact exploration is continuing at Ayawilca and at our nearby Silvia copper-gold project." Discussion - Geology of the Zinc Zone Deposits at Ayawilca A total of 11,115 metres were drilled in 33 holes at Ayawilca during the 2022-23 drill program (see Figure 1). Around 90% of the drill holes were focused at West and South Ayawilca for resource confirmation and definition purposes. Two holes were also drilled at Central Ayawilca for the dual purposes of exploration and a hydrological study. The 2022-23 drill program has considerably improved our understanding of the geology of the Ayawilca Zinc Zone and improved the confidence in the geometry of the mineralized bodies at West and South. Two of the most important conclusions from the drilling include: - At West Ayawilca, two pipe-like zinc sulphide bodies hosted by brecciated limestones extend through the 100- to 200-metre-thick limestone sequence along a northwest-southeast trend and are connected by massive sulphide mineralization at the base of the limestone;
- At South Ayawilca, very high-grade massive sulphide zinc mineralization is concentrated within a tightly folded limestone at relatively shallow depth - this discovery has the potential to be a ‘starter mine’ which could provide early payback of capital.
West Ayawilca The footprint of the zinc mineralization hosted by limestones at West Ayawilca covers an area of approximately 700 metres by 300 metres projected to surface (see Figure 1). Drilling in 2022-23 focused on defining the geometry of two pipe-like breccia bodies which host continuous, semi-massive sulphide (SMS) mineralization within the limestone. The breccia bodies have surface dimensions of between 100 to 200 metres and are elongated along a northwest-southeast direction. Zinc mineralization extends over a vertical thickness of between 100 to 150 metres through the entire brecciated limestone sequence up to the overlying sandstones. The breccia bodies are connected by massive sulphide (MS) zinc mineralization at the base of the limestone. Zinc sulphide (as sphalerite) is the dominant economic mineralization. Silver and lead (as silver sulphosalts and galena) is typically more common around the edges of the zinc bodies and in carbonate-rich veins. Iron sulphides are common including pyrite, marcasite, and pyrrhotite. Carbonate (siderite, an Fe-rich variety) is the dominant gangue mineral. The new interpretation of the geology at West Ayawilca is the result of a redesigned drill program in 2022-23 which targeted the northwest-southeast trend rather than the late-stage east-west trending veins which outcrop. All 13 holes at West Ayawilca in the 2022-23 program were drilled on an east-west orientation (mostly angled to the west) in contrast to previous holes which were mostly orientated north-south. The improvement in vertical continuity of the mineralization is positive for the project, as it will likely lead to more cost-effective mining with less dilution. The brecciation of the limestones is interpreted to have occurred as result of karst dissolution and collapse of the limestones, possibly during the early stages of hydrothermal activity. The mineralization is focused within the hinge of a major anticline fold immediately adjacent to the Colquipucro Fault (see cross sections, Figure 2). A longitudinal section showing the geometry of the zinc mineralization along the northwest-southeast trend is shown in Figure 3. Photographs of the typical massive sulphide zinc mineralization and the semi-massive sulphide breccia mineralization at West Ayawilca is shown in Figure 4. South Ayawilca The highest-grade area of zinc mineralization at the project is located at South Ayawilca. Massive sulphide (MS) mineralization has been identified over an area (projected to surface) of approximately 400 metres by 200 metres elongated in a northeast-southwest direction (see Figures 1 and 3). Very high-grade massive sulphide zinc mineralization is focused in the hinge zone of an anticline fold structure. Drill results including cross sections from South Ayawilca can be reviewed in the following disclosures – see news release January 9th 2023; and news release March 6th 2023. Update on Exploration Activities at Ayawilca Tinka’s geologists have recently sampled manganese-altered outcrops at Ayawilca which are interpreted to be surface expressions of the Silver Zone discovery ( see news release May 2nd 2023). The results of this sampling, together with the final drill hole at South Ayawilca, will be announced as soon as assays become available and interpreted. Other news: Tinka recently received approval for the extension of the environmental permit (EIAsd) at Ayawilca for a period of three more years until May 2026. The modified and extended EIAsd has combined the two previous individual permits at Ayawilca and Colquipucro into one large permit which also incorporates several undrilled exploration targets as well as potential future mine components. The successful approval of the EIAsd is an important milestone for the project, as it will allow the Company to continue with its exploration and development plans into the medium term. Table 1. This hole intersected minor zinc and tin mineralization, which will be incorporated into the updated resource estimate. Note on sampling and assaying Drill holes are diamond HQ size core holes with recoveries generally above 80% and often close to 100%. The drill core is marked up, logged, and photographed on site. The cores are cut in half at the Company’s core storage facility, with half-cores stored as a future reference. Half-core was bagged on average over 1 to 2 metre composite intervals and sent to SGS laboratory in Lima for assay in batches. Standards and blanks were inserted by Tinka into each batch prior to departure from the core storage facilities. At the laboratory samples are dried, crushed to 100% passing 2mm, then 500 grams pulverized for multi-element analysis by ICPMS using multi-acid digestion. Samples assaying over 1% zinc, lead, or copper and over 100 g/t silver were re-assayed using precise ore-grade AAS techniques. Samples within massive sulphide zones were also assayed for tin using fusion and AAS finish. Figure 1. I've finished world a couple of days ago, decided to give it a break after all the farm and grind of the endgame and since then started to play rise (which I bought before sunbreak even released), and now I'm considering buying the DLC to have more of the game and want to know some things:
- It's worth it?
- How's the RNG compared to world?
- From someone that came from world (as it's first monster hunter game) it's there something that I've should be aware of?

2023.06.08 15:14 -Xoz- Deep Discography Dive (#3) — Homogenic
This is a master list of every official and unofficial track from the Homogenic Era (1997 — 2001). I have tried my best to make this an exhaustive list after comparing and referencing multiple sources. For remixes, only official and promo ones are included - which had at least one form of physical release, unofficial digital only remixes which came on years later by lesser known artists are not included. For Live versions, only the ones officially released are included. Radio edits and video versions are only inluded if they are significantly deifferent than album versions. 2023.06.08 15:10 Sjepper Should I activate Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak DLC right away or just wait untill i'm at the required quest?
I am wondering if there is any benefit to activating my code for Sunbreak right away with my copy of Rise on the switch or can I just wait until I'm at the point where the DLC quest is doable?
Up until now only played Generations ultimate and I know the DLC adds benefits like items and such, is this also the case with Sunbreak?
