Hi there.
My ex and I recently split up. We were going to a concert together in California in a couple of months. I paid for everything up front (hotel, tickets, plane tickets) and they were going to pay me back for about 1/3rd (what I offered since I make more). Well my ex ended up only paying me about $350 for the trip. I transfered them money back when we broke up and I moved on.
Later, I went to transfer everything to my friend's name and everything was successful other than the plane ticket. So I canceled the flight and went to rebook another one on hold just in case of this and the agent told me that my ex would be getting the flight credit and I couldn't get it in my name no matter what. So my ex now has a $750 plane credit to their account. Our break up was messy and I'm afraid of them, but I'd like to at least get some of my money back somehow. I have them blocked on everything and I'm not sure how to approach this. I don't want them having a free plane ride to most places in the US that I paid for.

Got a credit card delivered to my home address and noticed the name on the card doesnt belong to me. I have to assume someone is committing some type of fraud and using my home address to open this card. I have had a credit freeze across all 3 reporting agencies for awhile now so my credit is fine.
Other than reporting this to the issuing credit card company of this fraud, is there anything else I should do?

I would like to use Mull Browser in DivestOS but the only major problem that prevents this is the lack of any way to translate pages... do you know of a way to translate pages directly in the browser or a way to download an extension that will do this? It would be nice if a TWP-like extension were introduced in the future or an implementation of a Lingva Translate instance (Open Source Project) within the browser... maybe a dark amoled mode (intense black) for pages and widgets. This is currently an ongoing issue my family is facing. My dog got neutered a few days ago. The surgery went well and recovery time should have been around 2 weeks. However, 2 days ago when my dad was walking him an incident happened. A guy with another dog was walking in their direction. My dog often gets excited when he sees other dogs, so he lied down on the floor and waited. (It was also obvious he was past surgery as he had the cone on). When that guy was passing my dog, he started hitting him with a wooden stick which he was carrying... My dad got in the way to protect the dog and he hit my dad twice on his head. Before the guy left, my dad managed to get a short video with his face on it. After getting home we found that my dog started bleeding, likely some of the stitches become undone. He now has to go through another procedure and they have to restitch the wound. This has been a really frustrating and stressful time for us. I don't understand how can anyone in their right mind hit a dog, especially when it's clear the dog just went through a surgery...
Anyways, the police caught the guy and are pursuing criminal charges, from my understanding assault and animal abuse. Would we be able to pursue charges at the civil court as well? The multiple extra visits to the vet and the secondary surgery have cost us a lot of money. From my understanding criminal court does not deal with compensation?

Hello, everyone! I have two indoor cats: a four year old gray female (Bobbi) and two year old black male (Timmy), both fixed.
We are pretty sure our female cat has a chicken allergy. She used to scratch herself until she got hotspots. After a million vet visits, I did a bunch of research and tried a chicken free food since chicken allergy seemed like a really common reason for skin irritation. I settled on Nulo medal series limited ingredient turkey dry food. The cats love it, her skin cleared up, it’s all good (even if the vet doesn’t believe us)!
However, I think this food has been discontinued? I can’t find it anywhere locally or online. I didn’t realize this until we were almost out of our current bag of food, so I’m in a bit of a rush to figure this out.
Should I go with a different turkey based (no chicken) food, since we know turkey is safe? Does one even exist? Should I go with the fish based (no chicken) Nulo food, or is Nulo disappearing across the board? Nulo is also grain free - is that the secret sauce that’s made her skin better, or is it the lack of chicken? Im willing to do both just to be safe. I’m in a food conundrum, so hopefully y’all can help. Thanks!

(English isn’t my first language sorry) I am 16 years old, afab and have been out for 2 years. I have a lot of disphoria on more masc or none femme days. I have a chest binder, plan on changing my name legally and am starting to change my clothing style and how I act (it’s been really tough haha). I would like to start t to get rid of more disphoria. I would like to achieve a more andrgynous body and mindset. I want my voice to be deeper (but not too deep), I want a more masculine face, I want to be able to build more muscle. I do fear that I’ll lose my hourglass figure, but thats kinda the only thing I wanna keep. My binder, short hair and new name have really helped and still help alot, but its not enough and I know that. I also think that t might fill that emptiness that I get whenever I look at people in regards to their presentation. I think a low dosis might help idk. (help) I have talked to a therapist who specialieses in this topic with my parents before, have told him what bothers me, but he suggested a voice-therapy-treatment (idk). He hasnt found anything so far and its been 3 months since we talked. I am really greatful for being able to talk to such a specialist, have supportiveish parents and a supportiveish school (supportiveish -> they talk a lot of sht about trans/gay ppl and some discourage me from transitioning.) I have a lot of friends naman na pwede ko ayain, pero at my current age, most of my friends ay may kaniya-kaniya nang partners. Masaya ako for them but alam mong pag-uwi mo ng bahay, mag-isa ka pa rin.
Paminsan naiisip ko rin naman na baka I am not meant for anyone. May kaunting acceptance na sa part ko, but meron pa rin namang hope na baka lang hindi ko pa nami-meet. So that's why I am trying my luck here. :)

I was very interested in having an AOD because a lot of people in reddit and YT seems to like it a lot. Finally, I got a chance to try it out with my wife’s S7. And actually….. It’s not that great IMO.
First of all, it doesn’t make the watch look more beautiful. The AOD mode still looks more black than an actual watch face. I looked at how people wear their watches and AOD doesn’t make their style “cooler” with or without AOD.
Second, there’s a significant amount reduction in battery life compare to AOD off.
I don’t understand why more people prefer AOD with the reason of “it’s not a watch if it doesn’t display the time at all times” 🤷‍♂️

Like seriously I have never seen a fandom for a movie that outright ignore the foreshadowing from the first movie Matt Reeves already set up for the sequel in favour of fan service.
The only thing we know about the foreshadowing from the ending is that there will be a power vacuum. When we think of a power vacuum , we think of power players that have an entire group working together against their opposition. Penguin, Two Face, and Black Mask are the main power players that I can think of (I'm not predicting that Black Mask and Two Face will be in the film just saying). It's obvious by now that the second film will be about the multiple groups trying to dominate each other.
The idea of Mr Freeze being in the sequel and the announcement of Clayface had the fandom riding them hard. Many of their ideas outright abandon the foreshadowing by making them the central focus and villain of the sequel like the first film never happened. Like the fandom are literally setting themselves up for dissapointment. It's like the fandom if they decided that the sequel after Rise of the Planet of the Ape will be about Charles Heston's character trying to survive the ape civilization after the death of Caesar hundred of years later. Anyone who even remotely understood the film would understand that Caesar will be the main protagonist in the sequel. Oh no!!! Koba from from the first film became the main antagonist of the sequel. It's not like the film foreshadowed that multiple times throughout the film or something.
Of course the sequel won't be about Mr Freeze freezing up the city and how tragic he is. Nor it will be about Clayface being the main opponent of Batman and how tragic he is. Do we seriously need every villain be a tragic villain? The fandom are clinging really hard for a tragic villain.

After 10 years of alpine and alpine touring, I’ve decided to get back into the free heel life.
I had picked up the habit when my kids were beginner downhill skiers and I didn’t want to be bored on blue runs. And I later sold the tele gear when my son could ski faster on alpine than I could on 75mm bindings. Back then my boots were T1’s — black and red buckles, not bumblebee — and my skis were K2 Piste Pipes (heavy AF) with 7TMs and then Rossi T3 with a Targa binding.
So I’m now in the market for skis and NTN bindings. Those planks will never see a skin, as I have a pretty sweet AT dedicated setup. So I’m thinking Rotofella Freeride, in Small as the boots are 25.5.
I’m on the IceCoast, I’d use the skis exclusively inbounds 50% groomers with my SO, the rest a mix of open glades and bumps in all sorts of conditions, as I’m a volunteer patroller every other weekend at Mont Sutton.
I’m thinking 80-something mm at the waist, something like a Rossi Experience or a Blizzard Brahma.
Ideally, I’d buy a used gear from a resort telemarker who is selling his skis to fund a 50/50 setup.

It was back around 5th grade for me. I kept to myself mostly and spent time on YouTube. I loved to watch documentaries and educational videos. I couldn’t get enough of them.
I had a habit of asking king question chains at this point. Everything seemed so new and cool! I was learning about dinosaurs and could have told you the name of every one in the books I had.
My family had gone camping for the weekend and brought our grandfather along. Grandpa was the most religious of us all and was my stand-in for religion as a whole. My mother wouldn’t answer questions about God to my satisfaction (always a wishy-washy half answer) so I thought I could ask my grandpa some questions.
If ever there was an anti intellectual person it was my grandpa. Didn’t believe in evolution, or meteors, or anything science. I had wanted to know about dinosaurs in the Bible and had thought it a good idea to ask him about it. He tried to convince a Dino-crazed 12y/o that dinosaurs didn’t exist. At that moment I had to decide whether I wanted dinosaurs to exist or god and chose the lizards.
I’ve never taken religion seriously again.
